If You Were My Little Girl
Alexia Putellas x Teen!Reader
Jenni Hermoso x Teen!Reader
Summary: Alexia doesn't know you
Jenni.
That's the first thing Alexia thinks of when she sees you.
You're fourteen, playing a five a side game at La Masia. Alexia's dropped in to watch the training session, a few hours early to a meeting she's meant to be having.
Jenni's the one that Alexia thinks of.
You look like her. In your face. In your height. In the way you shoot and find the net.
In the way your face crinkles as you turn to celebrate.
A young Jenni.
Jenni is the first thing Alexia think of when she sees you next.
You're fifteen now and growing into your lanky limbs.
Not much has changed in you since that last time, apart from looking much more self assured. You take shots from distance now. You're accurate as well, the ball going in nine times out of ten.
You've grown into Jenni's features now and Alexia's awestruck by them.
She passively mentions you at the next camp.
Jenni's face goes cloudy, something between annoyance and rage.
"I have no family in Barcelona, Alexia," Is what she says, conversation closed.
But Alexia's not so sure.
She doesn't broach the topic again until a year later.
It's been a while since Alexia has watched a Barcelona B match. She's familiar with a lot of the girls who move up and down into the first team when injuries allow.
Vicky has been the star so far.
Martina too.
You've never been moved up though but Alexia isn't surprised by that. Their front line is packed and with the introduction of Ewa, it's hard to give minutes over to a young striker like you.
Alexia wonders briefly if you'll leave like Julia did or if Barcelona will want to keep you close and send you out on loan.
She'd prefer to keep you.
A La Masia Jenni would be a boost to anyone's team.
You pop goals in like they're easy, grinning and Alexia knows now that Jenni has been lying to her.
Hermoso is what is on your shirt.
You're family and Jenni is a liar.
You turn sixteen at a restaurant in central Barcelona.
Alexia is there but only by accident.
It's after one of her matches and she goes out with her mother and her sister.
They've already sat down when the host comes down to move you and a woman into the table next to them.
You haven't even noticed Alexia, talking to the woman opposite you in rapid Catalan that would never fall from Jenni's lips.
It's your birthday, if the big birthday badge on the front of your shirt is anything to go by.
You dig into your meal happily.
"A gift from your father," The woman says, placing an envelope onto the table.
You were smiling before but your face goes cloudy now, the same kind of cloud that Alexia saw on Jenni's face a few years ago. Annoyance and anger.
You shove it away.
"I don't want it," You say and Alexia doesn't even pretend she's not eavesdropping.
"You need to save up," The woman reminds you," You age out of the system soon."
You look away from her. "I don't need his money."
"You do."
"I don't want it."
"I don't really think it's up to you," The woman says," Think of your future."
You don't answer for a moment before you push your half finished plate away from you.
"I'm done."
"Y/n-"
"I'm finished."
"Not even dessert? You've been wanting the cake from this place for a while now."
Tears spill from your eyes but you keep your voice steady. "I'm not hungry anymore."
You leave your birthday badge at the table along with the envelope.
Alexia doesn't see you for a long few months after that but you never leave her mind.
She keeps up to date with your training, with the way that your coaches have nothing but glowing remarks for you. She thinks you're doing well, in football at least because the next time she physically sees you, you're a mess.
Your hair is unkempt and messy. Your shoulders are slumped and even though you bang in goals, you don't celebrate even when everyone else does.
It's almost like you don't care.
It's almost like you have no passion for football anymore.
"I don't have family in Barcelona, Alexia," Jenni says again when she tries to broach the subject again.
"I know but there's this kid...this girl-"
"I don't have a sister!" Jenni snaps and Alexia takes a step back.
"I didn't say anything about a sister."
Jenni seethes, glancing away as she runs her hand through her own messy hair. "Good. Because I don't have one."
"Just come to a game." Alexia can't stop herself from pushing. She doesn't know what it is, what strange aura you have around you that pushes her to campaign for you. "Just one."
She doesn't know what it is about you that she just needs Jenni to see. What spark in you that she needs Jenni to acknowledge.
"I don't want to. I'm busy."
"I know you're going to a party with Mariona," Alexia says," I know you'll be in the city during one of her games. Please, Jenni. Just one game. You don't even have to talk to her. Just watch."
Jenni agrees only after days of badgering.
Somehow, you look worse than before.
You still bang in goals. a hattrick in the first half and Jenni's thoroughly disinterested, even if you wear her surname on your jersey.
Your hair is a mess and your kit is askew. There are bags under your eyes and your shoulders are hunched over.
You curl into yourself even more when you walk through the tunnel at halftime. Your eyes catch Alexia's.
She's been coming to these matches a lot recently but it's not her that causes you to stop.
Jenni looks down at you from the stands, her face neutral and one singular brow raised when you deign to meet her gaze.
Alexia frowns as your eyes drop and your posture tightens up again, head bowed as you walk away.
"You're still playing? I thought you were told to stop."
"He can't tell me what to do."
"Can't he?"
"Well, he's not exactly my father, is he?"
"You wear his name."
"It's my name!"
"Is it?"
"Don't-Don't tell him. Please."
"He'll find out sooner or later. A club like Barcelona, what were you thinking?"
"Please...Please."
"Quit while you're ahead, kid. Finish up your season and find something else to do."
"I-"
"It's for your own good, okay?"
Alexia rounds the corner at the end of the match.
You're sobbing, tears rolling down your cheeks as you slam your head against the stone wall.
"Hey...Hey!"
Alexia shoves her hand between your skull and the wall, trying to pillow the impact as much as possible.
You're still sobbing and Alexia pulls you into her arms, pressing your head into her neck as you shake.
"I-I have to quit."
"No you don't," She says," It's okay. You don't have to quit."
"I do."
These are the first words she's even spoken to you.
You know she watches you. You know that she lurks and analyses and sees something in you that keeps her coming back again and again.
You don't even know her. Not personally anyway.
Everyone knows Alexia Putellas. Everyone knows who she is, a legend.
You know her the same amount that you know your own sister.
Which isn't much.
She doesn't really know you either. Knows the same amount about you as your own sister.
But here she is, holding you as you sob after one of the best games of your life, holding you after you've been told to leave this all behind.
"It's okay. No one's going to make you quit if you don't want to."
"I have to."
"You don't," Alexia promises," I'll make sure of it."

DANDELIONS
Summary: You are the new guest of the Bridgertons. Your mother, an old friend of Lady Violet Bridgerton, has requested that you spend a season at the Bridgerton house in hopes that you will change your perspective on true love and marriage. You are convinced that love is a fictional construct and that a marriage without love will be your downfall; but some time with the Bridgerton siblings might change your mind.
Author's Note: The characters belong to the Bridgerton universe and Julia Quinn. However, the story will have some changes from what happens in the Bridgerton series (2020-). Dear readers, this story may contain strong language and steamy romance scenes. It may even feature a love triangle. Be warned and enjoy the reading.
AO3 LINK TWO
ONE
"A great idea," you grumbled the entire way from your house to the Bridgerton house. Your mother had told you it would be an excellent idea for you to venture into society. "An independent mission," she said. Your father is so ill and trapped in his own world that he didn't mind letting his only daughter go to a stranger's house. Your mother has given up on arranging a conventional marriage for you. She doesn't respect the fact that you don't want a marriage like hers. You wonder if it's so wrong to want a marriage filled with tenderness, passion, love, or any feeling other than indifference. You basically grew up knowing you were the product of an obligation. The only child your parents managed to conceive before your father became too ill to have more children. Or rather, before your mother gave up trying to love him. When you were born, at least she had shed the moral burden of having to provide your father with an heir. Obviously, both she and he had hoped you would be a boy. But you think that over the years they have grown accustomed to you. This year, for some reason, your mother wants you to get married. Perhaps it's because your father is on the brink of death. If you find a husband who can manage your father's properties and investments, maybe you will become something useful to your family. Your father only mutters about wanting a male grandchild to carry on his legacy, and your mother wants you married. After Lady Violet Bridgerton successfully married off her daughter Daphne, your mother began to think that perhaps she could help you. So, after exchanging a few letters, you are now on your way to the Bridgerton house to be introduced to society's marriage system.
"I need to step out of this carriage for a moment," you say as you stop murmuring your mother's words. Your companion gives you a look that says, "She's lost her mind," but you know she will eventually let you get out of the carriage.
"Actually, we are already in front of the Bridgerton house entrance. I must remind you that your mother recommended I stay by your side most of the time," Mrs. Lydia says, as if you didn't know that, as your companion, she is supposed to always be nearby.
"I know your job is to protect my honor, but believe me, if I enter the Bridgerton house in my current mood, they will expel me before midnight. I need a moment to think," you say, nervously adjusting the hem of your dress. Your companion gently nods as if she understands. Lydia is the closest thing to true family that you have. So it's no surprise that she understands you.
"Enter the house for a moment and be polite. There's a stable on the Bridgerton property; I'll see what I can do. Ask Lady Bridgerton or the Viscount Bridgerton if you can go for a ride. And try not to get into trouble. I'll pretend to accompany you but give you some time alone," Lydia says, and you hug her tightly. A good horse ride after meeting the Bridgertons is just what you need. Not that you know much about them. You can only imagine. They are several siblings, and you are an only child. It's not hard to imagine there will be some incompatibilities. Minutes later, you step out of the carriage with Lydia, observing several people standing around you two.
"Dear Miss Y/L/N, it's a pleasure to welcome you here. I must confess that when your mother informed me of your arrival, we all looked forward to it," Lady Violet Bridgerton says as she approaches you. She seems so friendly that you feel inclined to hug her.
"I would like to thank you, Lady Bridgerton, and your lovely family for your hospitality. Unfortunately, my mother couldn't come with me, but my companion Lydia is here," you say awkwardly. The truth is, you're feeling that this season at Aubrey Hall with all the Bridgertons might be more challenging than you imagine.
"Let's not waste time exchanging pleasantries and let's go inside so you can see your quarters. I believe it will be the perfect time for you to get to know my children better," she says as she guides you into the house. The place is spectacular. As soon as you enter, you see some people approaching.
"Miss Y/L/N, I must warn you that this family can be a bit lively, but we will try our best to welcome you with courtesy," says a girl who must be a little younger than you. She has a book in her hands and is the first to approach you as you enter.
"Eloise, don't scare off our guest. Welcome to our abode, Miss Y/L/N. My name is Colin Bridgerton, and if you need someone to talk to, I'll be available. But I know that after a journey, the best thing is a good night's rest," Colin says to you, who smiles, finding it amusing how many Bridgertons are showing up.
"I believe I should thank Miss Eloise for the warning and Mr. Bridgerton for his kindness. Although I believe I still have a long way to go until my restful moment," you say, looking at the two who seem pleased with your gratitude.
"Your dress is beautiful, Miss Y/L/N. By the way, unlike my older brothers, I know how to introduce myself. My name is Hyacinth Bridgerton." A girl who seemed not to be at the entrance of the house just moments ago suddenly appears, saying this as she walks quickly toward you.
"You're mistaking knowing how to introduce yourself with flattery, Hyacinth. I'm Gregory Bridgerton, but you can call me Gregory," says a young boy who appears to be almost the same age as Hyacinth, while the girl taps him on the shoulder. You find it cute and funny how they behave. Having siblings seems to be at least entertaining.
"The younger ones are so noisy. I wish you a pleasant stay with us, Miss Y/L/N. You'll need it. If you need some peace, just look for me. My name is Francesca," a young woman says kindly as she moves away from the confusion that this introduction session is becoming.
"Now that Miss Y/L/N has met most of the Bridgertons who reside in this house, how about having some tea in the garden of the property?" Lady Violet speaks gently, touching your arm. You nod in agreement.
"I would just like to go to the quarters where I will be staying for a change of clothing. I hope you understand, Lady Violet." You were already starting to feel pain in your back from the corset that was too tight on you.
"My dear, you can call me Violet, and you may go. I'll ask them to take you to the room where you'll be staying, and your companion will join you shortly to assist. Once you're done, I'll be in the garden waiting for you." Lady Bridgerton speaks, and you follow the servant she assigns to show you where you'll be staying. Knowing that Lydia will be with you shortly, as soon as you enter the room, you lock the door.
"What are you doing here, Miss?" A male voice speaks as soon as you lock the door, and you startle as you turn around to find a man, his shirt slightly unbuttoned, staring at you.
"I'm almost certain that I should be the one saying that, sir. I must warn you that if I were to scream, you'd be in trouble," you say, composing yourself as you observe the man looking at you curiously. Perhaps he knows that you wouldn't scream because it would ruin your reputation, or maybe he is part of the Bridgerton family, considering your mother warned you that there were three older adult brothers.
"Do you really want my family to know that I'm inappropriately dressed near you? Let me guess, you're desperate for a marriage and want to make your life easier by tying me to you?" The man speaks as he straightens up, buttoning the rest of his shirt.
"How dare you accuse me of such a strategy, considering that it is you who is in the quarters assigned to me, improperly dressed, and with an attitude worthy of pity. Honestly, my last thought at the moment would be to force a scandal so that you would have to become my husband," you reply, holding yourself near the door, keeping yourself away from whoever this Mr. Bridgerton is in front of you.
"Forgive me, Miss, but I don't trust a word coming out of your mouth at the moment. However, I assure you that this type of situation is not customary. I was trying to enter through the window of my room or one of my brothers' rooms, but I ended up in here. I had no idea that you would be arriving today. In fact, I'm being rude at this moment. I am Viscount Anthony Bridgerton," he says, approaching you cautiously as if analyzing you. Perhaps he is trying to figure out if you are an opportunist or not.
"Without intending to be rude, but already being so, whether you are a Viscount, Prince, or Duke, I don't care. What matters now is that no one finds out that we are alone here," you say, looking him squarely in the eyes, as if to firmly convey that you absolutely do not want them to be discovered.
"If you can draw the attention of the people in the house to yourself for a couple of minutes, I can leave the way I came in. Do you think that would be possible?" Anthony says with a certain petulance. However, a bold idea occurs to you. You give him a determined look and then step closer to him, bringing you both very near to each other.
"I'll simulate a small fall down the stairs. You'll have the time it takes for me to miraculously recover. Be efficient, Viscount Bridgerton," you say briefly and storm out of the room, aware that spending more time in the Viscount's presence would be a real test of your self-control. The room was starting to feel quite warm.
You descend the stairs, doing your best to appear slightly unsteady. You kick the last step with all your strength before reaching the bottom of the stairs and let out a loud groan of pain, loud enough to be heard from afar. You even manage to tear up a bit, waiting for everyone to come and check on you. Just as you are lightly sprawled on the floor, a man walks through the door. You don't remember being introduced to him before, but he is certainly a Bridgerton. He sees you and immediately rushes towards you.
"Miss, are you alright? Can I help you up?" The man asks with a concerned and caring expression. Knowing that Anthony needs more time, you let out a cry of complaint as if in fake pain when the Bridgerton in front of you tries to help you up. At that moment, you start to be surrounded by several people.
"Oh, I think I twisted my ankle, but there's no need to worry. I just need a moment," you say, uncertain if you can keep up the pretense much longer.
"My dear, don't strain yourself. Benedict will help you to a room where we can call for Dr. Lewis to examine you," Lady Violet Bridgerton says as she lightly touches the arm of who you presume to be Benedict.
"May I?" Benedict asks seconds before you nod your head in agreement. But to be honest, you're not even sure what you're agreeing to. Until Benedict lifts you, asking you to put your arms around his neck. You hold on tight to him, somewhat afraid he might drop you.
"Mr. Bridgerton, you are very kind. I believe you didn't need to lift me. But I am grateful for your help," you say as you are leaned close to Benedict's chest, which you now notice is slightly exposed. What's with the Bridgertons today that everyone is showing more than they should?
"I must admit, before my family enters here, that it was amusing to take part in your charade. It was quite artistic of you. I hope you'll call on me if you want to star in another theatrical piece to get my brother out of trouble. Have a good afternoon, Miss Y/L/N," he says all this as he gently releases you onto a sofa. He doesn't seem angry or anything like that; genuinely, he seems to be enjoying himself. As soon as he leaves the room where he left you, the rest of the Bridgerton family and some servants surround you. Now you'll have to pretend to be in pain for a little while longer while you're intrigued not only by one but by two Bridgerton brothers.

This is excellent. I have actually thought about Wilby quite a bit (and like only semi-jokingly believe him and Ian fucked at least once) and what you've said definitely touches on a lot of what I've picked up.
I think from that first (on screen) conversation it's pretty clear that Wilby is expendable. Useful, sure, but maybe less so now if his main purpose was to watch Ian, and even if not, someone they can still easily cut loose. And I think Wilby knows that. He almost latches onto Yassen in kind of an odd way, almost eager to please, eager to reassure Yassen that things are fine, that he (Yassen) is safe, that they don't need to worry about the Department. Naive in a way, but I also think a part of him does know how fucked he is. Ian's words warning him that he's not going to be around to spend his money, on a loop in his head.
How the confidence and bravado vanishes once Ian is actually dead (the reality that Yassen actually killed Ian, that he's dead, and then that he's going to have to manage a whole conspiracy around it now. And on that, how long was Wilby alone in the warehouse with Ian's body before the backup arrived? Did he just stand there, bleeding, staring down at the body? Did he have to go outside because he couldn't stand it?) How unsettled he is when Yassen keeps showing up and how he definitely catches the veiled threats.
He wants Yassen to go away because deep down he knows it's going to end badly for him. Ian warned him.
(And another sidebar. Aside from just the pure understandable logic of it, and fear of getting caught, the way Wilby so clearly thinks that Yassen/Scorpia can and should leave as quickly as possible does make me think that his turning had more to do with Ian specifically, rather then him being a mole for the Department as a whole. If he was meant to still be informing on everything, why is he in such a hurry to cut off contact with Yassen? Unless it was actually more about watching Ian, which he doesn't need to do now that he's dead)
Yassen and the Morons he works with; Martin Wilby edition (Part One).
So I've been making gifs based around Yassen's connections to the people he works with, and quickly realised I'd need like three seperate posts for Wilby. But staring at these scenes so much has given me thoughts about what their interactions say about Yassen, (and tangentially, his potential connection to Ian.) Anyway rambly meta under the cut.
Although Yassen treats most of the people he works with, with a similar sort of disdain, it's pretty clear that he hates Wilby. Aside from evidently relishing threatening him with double-meaning assurances about 'taking care of him', and how Blunt might not buy the cover but 'we' (as in, SCORPIA), will be fine, Yassen's also more violent with him than other characters.
When he shoots Wilby, it's one of the few times we see him injure someone directly without immediately killing them. Yassen doesn't mess around, he shoots to kill *instantly.* When he does kill Wilby (gifs upcoming) it's one of the most intimate, visceral, and involved murders we see Yassen commit - he uses his hands in the kill in a way we don't see again.
So much of this additional complexity is in Levin's performance; there's a way he just... settles his jaw when looking away from Ian's dead boy to Wilby, transitioning from this look of regret and grief to what reads in my mind as a flash of quite visceral hatred. Is this a hypocritical resentment for his involvement in killing Ian, for allowing Yassen to kill him in the first place, a way for him to displace his guilt over killing Ian? Yassen can rationalise his own involvement as a professional, following orders; he regrets what he has to do, but it's not personal. But, contrastingly, Wilby betrays the partner that trusts him for self-centred motivations, for greed.
There’s the way his face tightens before promising to 'take care of him' that suggests a genuine desire to kill Wilby, the suggestion that Yassen might enjoy getting rid of him, once he's served his purpose.
But the summary of all this is that I don't think Yassen would have such complex emotions about Wilby if he didn't have some meaningful connection, and personal relationship, with Ian.
#more proof for my theory too that julia was like 'i need all the riders dead' and was waiting for an excuse#so the board would let her do something so potentially risky and revealing as having ian killed#anyway#great meta here#alex rider#yassen gregorovich#thomas levin#martin wilby

going, going, gone pt. 2 - c.f
summary: y/n leaves to do what susannah always wanted for her boys.
conrad fisher x conklin!reader
a/n: gif is not mine, but i was so so happy to see how much everyone loved part one!! i’ve never had to tag people, but i will try and do that at the end of the story <3 this is also not following the books, that i haven’t read because i’m the worst reader 😭
y/n stood on the opposite side of susannah’s bed, visiting her in boston after she was waiting to see her girls. her connection to laurels daughters was always something susannah felt from the moment they were born. she always wanted girls of her own, but she was still blessed with her two sons.
belly was sitting on the bed, a bright blue dress as susannah looked into her eyes. laurel had gone out to run errands for her friend, so the girls had stayed with susannah.
it was clear that her condition was declining, and rapidly. her face didn’t have the usual sunshine look, and she appeared weaker than y/n and belly were ever used to. her skinny hands trailed to theirs and wrapped together. her touch went from a warm comfort to as light as a feather. somehow, through the cloudy day, the sun poked through and her angelic smile blessed the girls.
“i’ve been missing you so much,” susannah grinned, placing a hand on belly’s thigh and grabbing y/n’s hand with the other. “i’m so glad you came to see me. i needed to see you girls.”
the look on belly’s face was almost coated with uncomfortableness, her naïve self not used to seeing people in this condition. y/n didn’t want susannah to see her fall apart in her grasp, so she made herself blend with tranquility.
the time had passed where they wanted to attempt to save susannah. now, they knew it was only a matter of time until they lost her. they may not have physically lost susannah, but they lost the spark in her a long time ago.
“the boys love you, you know,” she tells belly, and then turning her head to y/n. “both of you.”
“i know,” y/n replies, seeing belly trying to find the right words.
“promise me something?” she asks, looking at belly who’s head perks up. “look after them for me.”
“you’re going to do that yourself,” belly remarks barely over a whisper, moments away from letting the dam break. y/n’s cried enough tears for susannah, but somehow they don’t seem to stop. watching her whole family experience this grief makes her feel less alone, but seeing her baby sister fall apart is near unbearable.
she watched as belly crumpled on the bed into susannah’s arms, and her once warm grasp felt lighter than ever.
ever since her death, y/n wants to look at belly the same. her actions make it so hard. she promised susannah to take care of her boys, and she failed. she let jeremiah sit around knowing he wasn’t the one she truly wanted. afterwards, she made conrad watch in heartbreak her new self with jeremiah.
that scares y/n, knowing that she’ll never truly be able to pick between them. in the long run, no matter who she “picks”, she’s hurting more people than she thinks.
she figures the best thing she can do is be there for conrad, as belly and jeremiah don’t think it’s necessary.
as she drove further and further away, the music she normally sings to turned into static. conrad would probably still be in cousins, not wanting to face his family back in boston. the traffic had quieted down, for people would be home with their families.
she pulled up the the house that had gotten it’s life back before julia took it all away. conrad and y/n were the main ones trying to save the house from being invaded by another family. even if they couldn’t, the cousins house would always have the fisher’s name on it. when y/n walked up to the front door, she slowly turned the doorknob and stepped in.
her footsteps lightly echoed due to the emptiness of the house, some of the front rooms still looking lifeless. y/n walked around, picturing everything exactly how susannah had it, all the portraits and loving decor she had around. she knew, though, that’s how conrad will set everything up.
the sun was just starting to dip down below the horizon, and when she spotted conrad sitting with his feet dipped in the pool, he looked lower than the sun ever could get.
she quietly stepped out onto the back, not saying a word until he noticed her. his head slowly tilted around, feeling her sweet eyes burning through him. he felt more relieved. she’s the only person he wants to see. she’s the one person who hasn’t ripped his heart out and used it.
“what are you doing back?” he questions, keeping his collected expression.
“i didn’t think you really wanted to be alone. you can’t fool me, conrad,” she smirks softly, moving over to sit next to him on the edge of the pool. she dips her feet into the cool water, not yet graced by the hot summer air.
“i don’t need you to be here for me, i don’t think i’m too good of company right now.”
“i think that’s exactly why you need me,” y/n says as conrad looks back to her. he’s always noticed y/n’s beauty on the outside, but he never got to really appreciate the inside. her mind was just as beautiful as her hair when the wind blows it, or the dimples on her cheeks when she’s happy. “you don’t have to do this alone, you know.”
“yeah,” he sighs, swaying his feet in the pool. “i thought jere would at least help me.”
“i talked to belly,” y/n tells him, seeing him quickly freeze and lean his head back.
“it’s not a big deal, y/n, really,” conrad says.
“it is to me. i never thought of her like this, but i don’t understand how she could do that to you.”
“it’s a me problem, clearly jeremiah’s better than i am.”
“that’s not true. belly’s young and thinks she’s innocent. she doesn’t deserve someone like you. she’ll never take the time to know you, but she’s going to jeremiah because he’s ‘easier’.” y/n replies. “you’re perfectly fine the way you are, and you never have to change for her, or me.”
“my mom always saw me with belly. i think that’s the worst part.”
“but your mom didn’t see what belly’s done to you. susannah would never want you to change in order to be with her.” y/n says, clearly to him. “susannah asked belly to be there, and she failed.”
“what do you mean?”
“when belly and i went to visit, she asked us to take care of you and jeremiah. belly barely looked after you, and i don’t even know if she’s helping jeremiah.”
“i get it, though. i left her at prom, and broke her heart.”
“was it shitty of you? yes, i’m not gonna lie to you. at this point, she’s taking it too far by playing with you and now it’s jeremiah’s turn.”
“maybe my mom was wrong,” he looks away, connecting his eyes back with the minute waves in the water. “i miss her. she was like a breath of fresh air, and i feel like i haven’t gotten that since she died.”
“she’s still here,” y/n tells him, seeing the corner of his mouth turn up a bit.
“i still feel her sometimes. if i’m home and i hear a noise, i’ll think she’s cooking, or painting. i don’t need people to see me fall apart.”
“you never have to hide, conrad. not anymore, and not from me.”
the next time he locks eyes with y/n, he can majorly see the sincerity in her face. there’s still a hint of when they were young in their eyes, memories swimming back into conrad’s head. every time she talked to him, all the time she spent with him. every party she skipped because conrad didn’t feel up to it, and she didn’t want him to be alone. he never felt nervous around y/n the way he did with her sister. they always had a complex relationship, but never once did y/n fail to be next to him. conrad let his inch closer to y/n’s, letting her hand lay on top of his, leaving solace in him. he never noticed how soft her hands were, literally and figuratively. she never once used him and glued his pieces back together. it’s then that he realizes that’s something belly never did.
impulsively, he moves his body more toward y/n, trying to get all the gladdening she can give. she’s more than happy to give it to him, letting conrad hold onto her and have her help him. the world around the boy became lighter, almost forgetting about his former despondency caused by belly. the closer he got to y/n, the more he thought that his mother had mistaken belly for the one.
he brushes a stand of y/n’s hair behind her ear, placing his hand on the side of her neck. she breathes lightly, knowing what conrad wants from her, but not knowing if he needs it.
“conrad,” she whispers, his name coming across incredibly from her lips. “you know i love you.”
“of course,” he says back, his hand trailing down her arm.
“but i won’t be a redemption because you cannot have belly. i’ve been the second choice once and i destroyed myself. i won’t do it again.”
“belly’s not who i want. i don’t think i’ve ever loved belly the way i have for you.” it all felt so sudden, the tension growing thicker between them as conrad only wanted to deepen the connection. y/n was just so horrified of hurting him more. she knows that she could help him and love him how he should, but she needs to know that he’s not just trying to get belly back.
“i think we need time, conrad. please?” she asks, and he nods, slipping his hand back down and grabbing her hand. “but trust me when i say that’s it’s not over with us.”
the meaning behind her words is stronger. in reality, she just wants to dive into conrad and accept anything he has to give, but he needs to strengthen his own heart first. he needs to know what he wants. if y/n needs time, he will wait for her.

As someone with these 3 placements (scorpio/pisces/4th/8th houses), I really liked doing this post since it's something very personal to me! 💕 Also, one thing I notice is that all these placements usually listen to a lot of music, more than the usual, when in love.
Mini tutorial in case you don't know how to see your rulers. Look at the signs in your 5th and 7th houses, then look at where the planets who rule these signs are in your natal. For ex: I have a 5th house in sagittarius, so I need to look at my jupiter, sagittarius ruler, who is in scorpio in the 4th house. For this, I indicate for you to look at the modern rulership, but in case you don't identify with the characteristics, look at the traditional ruler.

Spill the tea
Summary:where Jude is invested in girl drama
"Hello?"
"Hey girl, I've got hot tea for you"
"Yeah, spill it I'm listening"
I'm on a call with Ashley my Best friend who tells me everything, well we tell eachother everything, Ashley and I have been friends for the longest time, we grew up together and she was always there for me way before I even met Jude
"Ok so I just found out that Hannah is pregnant"
"What?"
"But the plot thickens, remember the boyfriend she said she was dating?"
"Yeah?"
"Well turns out he's not the father"
"If it's not him then whose the father?"
Jude walks into the house from training and he waves at me, I wave back at him
"It turns out that Hannah was having an Affair" Ashley says
"An Affair with who"
I see Jude turn his head towards me like my sentence has just peaked his interest and he walks to where I'm sat in the sofa and sits next to me watching me with interest
"The Gardner"
"The Gardner?"
Jude grabs my phone from my ear and puts the phone on speaker
"Whose having an affair with the Gardner?" He asks
"Hey Jude"
"Hey Ash, how are you?"
"I'm good, how are you"
"I'm good,so whose having an Affair with the Gardner"
"Hannah"
"But wasn't she with that other boyfriend of hers that she was bragging about?" Jude asks
"Yeah she was, I guess she was cheating on him"
"But, he was such a good guy"
"I know right"
"But there's more tea to be spilled"
"What Is it"
"Alice"
"I swear there's always something happening in Alice's life" I say
"Alice decided that it was a good idea to get surgery, and because she didn't have the budget for it, she went to a makeshift surgeon, and it did not come out proper, it just looks weird honestly"
"Do you have a picture?" I ask
"Yeah, hang on I'll send it just now"
Ash sends the picture and Jude and I look at it weirdly
"What has she done" he asks
"I'm speechless"
"I don't know whether to laugh or to cry" Jude says
"Why are her lips like that"
"Who ever did this to her needs to be arrested" Jude says
"Where is she now?" I ask
"At her house, she hasn't left eversince"
"Maybe we should check on her you know, see if she's doing fine" I say
"Yeah we should, we'll do it later"
"I'll make her something to try and make her feel better"
"Oh I just got am update on Hannah's situation"
"Turns out the Gardner is actually dating Haley, and he proposed to her"
"He proposed?" Jude asked
"So how are they going to work it out are they going to be one big polygamy Family"
"Even if the do that how is he going to afford to have a baby and have a wedding, knowing Haley she's definitely going to want a big extravagant wedding and she doesn't like sharing, so how is she going to share a husband with someone else?"
"What I don't get is how you're going to cheat on a person, then propose to the same person you cheated on, like do you know how much of a negative impact you have on a person"
"But Hannah is also in the wrong, she cheated on her boyfriend and went for Haley's then boyfriend and got pregnant by him, like that messed up, on top of that they are bestfriends" Jude says
"Ash you know I love you, but i could never be a sister wife with you, with anyone for a matter of fact"
"Don't worry, you're into footballers and I'm into NBA Stars totally different sport"
"Oh I forgot to tell you that Julia is moving" I say
"Julia is moving" They both ask
"Yeah she's moving back to France"
"Why?
"Something about being caught with the boss"
"She was caught with the boss"
"Well they weren't really keeping their affair a secret, they held hands in the office and they'd flirt in front of people, it was just a matter of time"
"But the boss?"
"Yup"
"Isn't she Lesbian?" Jude asks
"She's Lesbian?" I ask
"Isn't she in a relationship?" Ash asks
"She's in a relationship?" Jude and I ask at the same time
"That's crazy you know"
"It's insane actually"
"But hey you know what these aren't our lives and who are we to judge and Comment on other people's lives"
"True"
"So we'll meet in 2 hours to go and check on Alice?"
"Yeah, see you then"
I hang the phone up and look at Jude
"Let me go get ready I wanna see her myself"
"Jude when we get there please try to compose yourself until we get back home"
"Until we get back home?, I'll compose myself until we get into the car and drive off"
"Fine but if you can't keep your side if the bargain, I'll be very upset"
"Ok fine"
2 hours later
There's a knock
I walk to the door to reveal Ash
"Hey babe"
"Hey, you ready to go ?"
"Yup, just waiting for Jude"
"Ok, so what did you make Alice"
"Soup, cause you know I figured that she wouldn't be able to eat a lot of things that are solid"
"Yeah"
Jude walks down the stairs and greets Ash
Ash decides to ride in her own car on our way to Alice's house
When we arrive there I knock on the door and after a few seconds later the door opens revealing Alice
I turn to Jude and watch his eyes grow bigger, I then turn back to Alice
"Hey Alice we heard you weren't feeling well, so we thought we might check on you see how you're doing"
"Yeah, we heard what happened" Ash says
"Come in please"
"So how have you been" Jude asks
"Is it bad like really bad can you see I got my face done"
"No, it's not that bad, your lips just look more plumb" I say
I hear Jude clear his throat next to him
"I just can't stop looking in the mirror" she says crying
"Oh sweetie don't so that to yourself, I'm sure it will get better, don't bring yourself down like that" Ashley says
"Yeah Ashley is right I didn't even notice it until you brought it up" Jude says
"Really?"
"Yeah, he's right c'mon you must be hungry Y/n made soup for you I'll plate it up for you" Ash says taking the big bowl of soup from my hands and leading Alice to the Kitchen
"What are you doing" I ask him
"What, I thought we were telling her lies to make her feel better" he says
"Jude stop ok"
"But I haven't laughed ever since we got here, though it may be difficult not to I still haven't"
"Fine just stop with the side expressions and stuff"
"Oh c'mon you're going to stand there and pretend that all of this is not funny"
"Unlike you I know how to compose myself and keep my laughter in, and plus we're in her house how rude would it be if we just came in and laughed at her face"
He smiles a little almost like he's trying not to laugh
I sigh
"I give up on you"
We stay with Alice for 3 more hours until we announce that we have to go but Ash opts to stay with Alice until she's better and we promise to occasionally visit
As soon as we enter the car He laughs his ass off
"Let's not even talk about the lips did you see the eyebrows, she can't even lift her eyebrows"
"Wait until we get home"
"I'm not waiting until we get home I'm talking now"
"Jude"
"C'mon, it's not like she can hear me"
"Fine"
"Did you see the nose, it's like this" he says laughing and making the shape of her nose in the air
As much as I don't want to laugh at Alice Jude is not making it any easier not to so I just chuckle
"Her lips are like this, babe look" he says making his lips plump by squishing them together using his hands
I laugh at his comment and the rest if the way Jude and I are talking about Alice and all the things that could have forced her to do this to herself
The rest of the day is spent hanging out and Jude and i making dinner for ourselves then watching a movie then bed
As I'm changing into my Pajamas Jude speaks up
"Babe?"
"Yeah?"
"On a serious note though, l love you just the way you are"
I raise my eyebrow wondering where all of this came from
"Ok, why are you being weird"
"I'm not I'm just saying if you ever decide to get plastic surgery or a face lift, whatever it is, Just know that I love your body just the way it is and I don't want you to be pressured or feel like it's your obligation to make yourself look younger or have more curves or to look a certain way when you're with me"
"Aww, Jude Babe thank you so much, and to make you feel better and to put you at ease, I wasn't even thinking about getting anything on my body done so, you have nothing to worry about, in fact Alice's case just pushed me futher away from the idea"
He breathes a sigh of relief and walks over to me towers over me where he kisses my forehead
"I love you and your body"
"I love you too"

“ LOOKS-MAXXING ” pick-a-card reading.💝
Your next glow up.
What can you do in order to have a big glow up?
Pick a pink 90s magazine cover:
—>Pile 1
Your next glow up will most likely be related to getting « in peace » with your s€xuality prior to glowing up both physically and mentally. What I mean by this is you will probably need to get rid of any self doubts about your looks, any shame around your $£xual side due to past traumas or for some the way you were raised, some may have been raised in a controlling or conservative family.
One of the ways you can make this glow up happen is if you really enjoy your life and what you do. Try to practice your hobbies more and work on bettering your natural talents, by doing that you may find your purpose in this world and this will lead to the biggest glow up ever.. for some it may lead them to their dream career.
Something which appears in the cards is that you may need to forgive your parents or parental figures for the way they treated you in order to reach peace within yourself and your physical body. Forgive yourself as well for not acting in the « right way » or not looking a certain way, this is the best you could do at that point of your life . It is all in the past.
As for a physical glow up: judging by the pictures shown on the cards that fell, maybe start focusing on a regular work out routine, focusing on legs, butt or whatever you feel like you need to improve. Updating your clothing style may benefit you a lot. Stop caring about what others would say and pick clothes which give you freedom of expression, be yourself shamelessly. Some of you who chose this pile may have some creative vision which they may have been scared to express - do it. Meditation may help with your « glow up » in some form as well. Try bolder makeup looks and outfit choices.
Moodboard/Vibes for pile 1:
The vibes I get from this pile is totally Julia Fox as a persona, not only style wise. She’s unapologetically herself, maybe for some she’s a bit weird. But the main point is, despite people’s opinions and perceptions of her, she has always followed her own rules and expressed herself. Before she got famous she was a dominatrix, did a photobook, an art exhibition aand starred in a famous movie in which her character was inspired by her real life . All this happened because she was authentic, lived her life the way she wanted and followed her heart, exactly what u should do as well, pile 1.
Songs which remind me of this pile’s vibe:
—>Pile 2
Pile 2, you’re going through or will go through a huge transformation.. luck will definitely be on your side and you may find out answers for things which you’ve always wanted to know about. ( it can be pretty much about anything. If we are talkibg about a physical glow up exclusively, you may learn some very good beauty hacks soon. It can be about makeup, diet, exercise, skin care, personal development etc.. this is a general reading so I cannot be exact but whatever your case is it will lead to a HUGE glow up. Two of the cards are talking about some « secret knowledge » so whatever it is it will be significant for you.
This pile is very different from the first one as the glow up that appears here is not just about one or two things in your life or looks, it’s about everything. The things you can do in order to glow up faster, pile2, is maybe start watching makeup tutorials and pay attention to new techniques or products you haven’t heared before, ask people for where they shop they may tell you some secret thrift store with really cool clothes which can uplift your style.. anything which can help you get this « secret knowledge » which appeared in the cards. Another thing I can say for this pile is: focus on manifestation, envision the changes in your looks or life as a whole you would like to have and act accordingly in your 3D universe in order to get to where you want to be. Positive affirmations and subliminals (as in subliminals I mean not the crazy unrealistic ones, but those about self concept, confidence and beauty in general) may also be helpful in your case.
Moodboard/Vibes for pile 2:
The vibes I get here are Fran from “The Nanny” and Maddy from “Euphoria”. Fashionable, bold, colourful. Radiating confidence. Crystals, glitter, sparkle, feathers, bold and colourful makeup, everything of that sort. Do not dim your own light to make someone else feel better about themselves if they are insecure.
Songs which remind me of this pile’s vibe:
—>Pile 3
Pile 3: I think you would definitely be bettering your financial situation sooner than you may have even expected, this may help you get a glow up. You would be able to afford nicer things, skincare, clothes, procedures etc.. If you’re not already on a path to improve your finances, then you would definitely be motivated to start working on this problem soon and be very committed on your mission of « glowing up » in every way possible. Physically, mentally, spiritually even. You will be finding yourself after a long period of feeling lost and unlike your true self.
You would become much more intuitive, confident and cut throat even, you won’t let energy vampires use you as they may have done in the past and this would lead to a more beautiful and healthy version of you, because you would not have to deal with others’ negativity anymore. When it comes to relationships you would not be satisfied with with mediocrity, you will be finally standing your ground and being true to your standards and what you deserve. You will be getting your justice if you’ve been mistreated in the past.
This pile has huuuge « femme fatale » « dark feminine » vibe. This may be the energy you will be channeling after you have your glow up. Doing classic makeup like red lipstick+ black eyeliner, black smokey eyes and nude lips combo might help you channel this energy that i am seeing here better. Wearing colours like: red, black, gold and nude might help you elevate your look. Also wearing jewelry, lace and high heels. Don’t be scared to embrace your « dark side » which you may have ignored in the past in order to fit in with the crowd.
May sound trivial, but follow your intuition and do what makes you happy, it will make you glow in ways which you have not expected..
Moodboard/Vibes for pile 3:
The vibes I’m getting here are as I said in previous paragraphes: femme fatale, dark feminine energy, monica bellucci core type of look/aesthetics..
Songs which remind me of this pile’s vibe:
That was all from today’s PAC. It was a bit different from previous ones and I myself did not expect it to turn out the way it did, but sometimes completely different information pops up in readings because someone needs to hear a certain thing.. Hope you enjoyed it!!
Leave a comment/feedback if it resonated, share and follow for more.
Thank you for reading!

LOOK AT ME PT. 3
PAIRING: You have to wait and see…
SUMMARY: You’ve always been the second option.
WARNINGS: Angst
Arriving back in Cousins was like a fever dream.
It didn’t come without bumps in the road. Literally. Jere had gotten a flat, and Belly tried to help. Then they had a reconnection moment, and you were happy for them. You were glad that they had semi-reconnected, but you were still angry with Belly.
She knew you and Conrad had been together, but she kissed him selfishly.
That wasn’t what you were supposed to be thinking about though. You were going to find Conrad, and things would go back to normal.
Jere held his hand out for you to hold on the way there, which you accepted. He was happy about this, his mood brightening a bit more.
“Hey, I’m sorry I was so…cold at Brown” He said to you and you shook your head “No- I was focused on finding my brother, and I was an asshole” He said and you were surprised.
“It’s okay, I understand” You said and he smiled, bringing your hand to his lips.
You smiled and watched the road ahead, your cheeks flushing.
Upon arrival at the house, you three got out of the Jeep and made your way inside. You allowed Belly and Jere to go find Conrad as you lurked around the house a bit.
You weren’t ready to see him yet.
The entire place was pure nostalgia. You hadn’t been there in forever and it felt like a dream.
That’s when you heard it. The words that would crush your being.
You briskly walked into the room that you heard voices in, your heart stopping when you met the eyes of Conrad Fisher.
“The house is for sale?” You asked, your voice shaky.
“What the hell is she doing here?”
“That’s no way to greet an old friend, Conrad” Your words sliced through him like a knife.
“I’m sorry, is the old friend in the room with us?” He shot back, and you were about to defend yourself before Jeremiah stepped forwards.
“Don’t talk to her like that, she’s here to help find your ass” Jere retorted and something flashed in Conrad’s eyes.
“I want her out, Jeremiah” He said and you held your hand up.
“This house means something to me too, Conrad” You said “I’m not here for you, I’m here for Jere.” You added and he huffed.
You decided to go outside after that, needing some air. Belly and Jere decided to go see if they could talk with Julia about the house, while you stayed back and out of Conrad’s way.
“You shouldn’t be here” Conrad’s voice sounded from the Patio. You were sat in a pool chair, looking off onto the beach.
“You shouldn’t be either, Conrad” You mentioned and looked over at him “You have school, finals”
“Fuck school” He said before sitting down.
“I know somethings going on between you and Jere” He said suddenly and you whipped your head towards him.
“And you think you have the right to tell me about that?” You said “I’m not the one who cheated on you and lied.” You said and that shut him up fast.
“Listen, I don’t want any trouble with you, okay?” You said after a while of silence. “Let’s be civil”
“Okay” He agreed and you nodded your head, glad he could agree to something.
Then Conrad turned to you with a smirk on his face, and you were more than confused at the brunette.
That was until he made his way towards you.
“Conrad what are you..?” You began to ask but he lifted you into his arms walking towards the pool. “No, no! Don’t-“ You tried but it was no use, he threw you in.
You hit the water with a muffled scream, resurfacing with a pained look on your face.
“Shit. Conrad, my leg!” You said and hobbled to the side of the pool. He offered you his hands like a dumbass and you pulled him in, hearing a gasp of realization come from him before he hit the water.
You laughed triumphantly before Conrad tackled you into the water again. When you resurfaced, you rubbed your eyes, still in Conrad’s arms.
Your heart raced as you watched his eyes trail down towards your lips.
No, this was wrong.
You pulled away with a small smile, not wanting things to feel awkward. Then you stepped out of the pool, making your way towards the door.
“I’m gonna go change”
Upon walking inside, you were greeted by Jeremiah and Belly, who looked a bit upset.
“No luck?” You asked and they both nodded.
“What happened to you?” Jere asked, looking at your soaking wet figure, but then the patio door opened again, revealing Conrad, who was the same way.
“Conrad threw me into the pool” You said softly “So I got him back by pulling him in with me” You added and Jeremiah nodded suspiciously.
“Bells, can I borrow some clothes from upstairs-“
“You can borrow mine.” Conrad cut you off and you froze. Jeremiah’s eyes darkened.
“She can use mine” Belly said, sensing the tension and the fact that you wanted to get out of the kitchen.
Belly’s room looked the same as it always had. You didn’t realize how much you had missed her until you set foot in her room.
“Thank you, Bells” You said as she handed you some shorts and a larger t-shirt.
“I’ve missed you Belly” You added and she turned to you in shock. You could see tears that began to pool in her eyes as she made her way to you.
You held your arms open for her and she fell into them, not caring that you were still damp from the pool. She needed- no, you both needed that hug.
“I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have done that to you” She sobbed and you smiled, knowing she had been holding in her apology.
“He was right there- and he wanted to be with me, I wasn’t thinking about who I was hurting” She admitted and you sighed.
“It’s okay, all of forgiven okay? I’ve moved on, I’m not mad at you” You said and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
You guys then fell into a comfortable silence, Belly’s sniffles being the only thing heard as she composed herself.
“So, Jeremiah?” Belly said and you both erupted into giggles, the Conklin girl pulling back from your embrace.
“Maybe…we have a house to save, so I doubt a relationship is on his mind” You said and Belly smiled, shrugging like she knew something.
“What?” You said and nudged her shoulder.
“Get dressed and go see him” She said and you nodded.
The shorts and the shirt worked pretty well for you, and by the time you were dressed, your hair was dry, you just had to comb through it, sitting on your bed after.
The walk down the hall to Jere’s room made your stomach bubble with nerves.
“Jere?” You said softly and knocked. The door then opened to reveal Jeremiah, a smile appearing on his face at the sight of you.
He was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, looking unbelievably comfortable.
“Hi” He said and led you inside his room, once inside he pulled you into a hug.
“Oh!” You gasped and wrapped your arms around him.
“I’ve missed you all day” He said and pecked your forehead. “Let’s take a nap?” He suggested and you nodded, a nap sounding amazing.
He crawled into bed and let you follow.
This didn’t feel wrong, being with Jeremiah felt so right. So right that you felt impulsive.
“Jeremiah” You whispered and when he looked at you, you went for it, pressing your lips to the corner of his, resting the waters.
Jeremiah responded immediately. When you looked away bashfully, his index finger and thumb gently pinched your chin so you’d look back at him.
He then pressed his lips to yours hungrily. Your mouths molded together perfectly. Jeremiah sat up, towering over you as he let your lips move in sync.
You both pulled away for air and kept your eyes locked. You smiled and so did he, glad he had just gotten to kiss you again.
“You’re everything” He whispered and you blushed, looking away.
“Don’t get shy on me now…” He whispered before ghosting his lips over yours again.
“Tease” You whispered and he smiled.
“Only for you” He replied before pressing his lips to yours again.
When you pulled back this time, Jeremiah wasn’t the one in front of you, it was Conrad.
“Conrad?”
You woke up with a gasp, sitting up quickly. A brief look around showed you that you hadn’t even left your room, you had fallen asleep in your own bed.
“What the fuck?” You whispered. You had dreamt that. It wasn’t real.
You got up from your bed immediately and made your way towards Jeremiah’s room. This time, it was real.
“Jere?” You said and were met with a completely different sight than your dream.
Jere was sat on the bed with his head in his hands.
“I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner, I fell asleep” You said and sat down next to him, beginning to rub his back until he yanked his body away from you.
“What was that between you and Conrad?” He asked and you looked confused.
“Nothing, Jere, we talked and we’re civil now, there’s nothing more to it” You said and he scoffed
“Didn’t seem like it. He was offering you his clothes” He said and you reached towards his face, grasping his jaw gently to make him look at you.
“Nothing is going on Jere, I don’t want to be more than friends with him” You said. That was partially a lie, but you hadn’t realized it yet.
“Okay…I’m sorry, I just don’t want you to go back to him, he’s an ass for what he did to you” He stated and you nodded knowingly.
“It’s okay” You said “Want to go downstairs and watch a movie?” You asked and he nodded his head, standing up.
“Last one down is a rotten egg!” You said and sprinted out of his room and down the hall towards the stairs.
“Hey!” He called with a laugh after you, chasing you.
You trotted down the stairs quickly, too quickly. You missed the last few steps and nearly fell on your face, you would have, if it wasn’t for someone catching you.
Conrad.
“Woah there, are you okay?” Conrad asked, your body now fully in his arms. Jere had seen the whole thing, trotting quickly behind you.
“Y/n, are you alright?” Jere said as Conrad helped you stand back up, now in between the two brothers.
“I’m fine, Jere” You said and gently squeezed his bicep. “Thank you, Conrad” You said and the brunette nodded.
“What are you guys doing?” Conrad asked, running a hand through his hair.
“Watching a movie” Jere said, his arm snaking around your waist.
“Oh…can I join?”
TO BE CONTINUED…
Finally! Sorry for the long wait! I’m back!!

Commitment - Final
After eating a wonderful meal prepared by the house's cook and playing some online games, Pete found himself on the edge of the mansion's luxurious pool, dozing while sunbathing, enjoying the best that life had to offer. Until he was suddenly woken up when someone knocked him into the pool.
"Motherfucker!" He said after recovering and getting up irritated in the pool. And be greeted by Dan's smiling face.
"You piece of shit, you almost scared me to death. I’ll break you all apart!"
"You can try bro, but you need to be a lot bigger if you want to hit me."
"Big enough, bro!" He responded showing his big sculpted body.
"You can't resist a little show, can you? That way you'll make the girls go crazy!" Dan replied in turn, with a malicious expression on his face.
Girls? What girls?"
"Hi Pete!" Said a beautiful young woman while another as beautiful as her giggled next to her.
"Their shift at the gym is over so I invited them to come along. Don't worry about Julia, they'll behave, right girls?"
"Yes Dan, we won't do anything Pete doesn't want." Emily replied with a smile.
"You pay me for this you Asshole" Pete whispered to his friend.
"Hey, aren't you the faithful guy? Just stay that way, brother." Dan replied, his mischievous smile widening.
Somehow Pete managed to hold on, despite the advances from the women. When the situation became too difficult to control, he left the pool and went to Think of a way to send them away before Julia arrived. While he was swinging his long, thick cock, he was surprised by Emily who pushed him, still naked, against the wall and gave him a professional-level blowjob. So professional that he found himself unable to protest and after all it was just a blowjob, it's not like it was a terrible betrayal.
He was already looking for justifications for the fact that that blowjob had ended with him fucking the woman right there in the bathroom, when he heard his cell phone vibrate and received a message on his cell phone from Julia saying that she was already at the front gate of
the house. He quickly freed himself from Emily and instructed Dan to hide with the two women in one of the guest rooms. While he himself ran to his suite to take a quick shower and wash the smell of sex off his body.
When Julia arrived at his room she found him naked on the bed waiting for her smiling at her.
"Hey babe, how about that blowjob?" He asked with a smile, as if nothing had happened.
Pete woke up the next day after a strange dream in which he was a wimp living with the slut he had slept with the night before, without the courage to admit that he was being exploited by the gold digger. As if it were possible. Yet before opening his eyes he felt his bulging muscles and his face feeling that everything was the way it should be. It was terribly early by his standards. But it was his own fault for havingaccepted that partnership with Dan and now having to work helping to organize the new Dan's Gym units around the city. Just having to think that they would still have to find a new name for the franchise almost made him want to not get out of bed. But he still forced himself to get up.
As he passed the living room on the way to the kitchen he He received a message from the social manager of the gym chain with the next promotional video for Instagram. Dominating the screen were him and Dan, looking more like two real brothers than best friends, laughing and flexing their muscles after an intense workout that had pushed them to the limit.
A momentary thought of doubt crossed Peter's mind, how was it possible for two people to exist as physically similar as they were and with the same habits, tastes and thoughts? But soon this fleeting doubt dissipated, never to return, as he was interrupted by the voice Pete had expected to hear, making him look up.
"I personally thought the final result of the project is excellent."
"I agree. And I see you're quite comfortable as a guest." He replied with an mocking expression.
"Brother, I've been going to this house for years, your parents consider me a second son, I'm much more than a guest."
A smiling Dan replied, wearing only underwear spread comfortably on the couch.
"What's more than I can say about that woman you brought home last night, really scandalous in bed. Who was the diva?"
"You don't know, a girl I picked up at college, we met again recently and I decided to give her a revival, but it turns out she expected a lot more from me than I had to offer. She wasn't very happy when I told her I had called a car for take her home."
"You know, for someone so rich, you lacks class, bro!"
"Look who's talking, I heard very well what you did to that girls in the guest room."
"But I'm not the senator's son."
"It was my fault. I should have ignored her advances and stuck to my policy of no repeat women. I don't want any commitment."
"Good thing this doesn't extend to work."
"Dan, if there's a relationship that I'm fully committed to, it's ours, both at work and in friendship."
"I know that brother, and I'm grateful for that, my life wouldn't be the same without you!"

Judgement: Benedict Bridgerton x actress!reader
Requested by @jaysgirlx <3
***
She wasn’t the most beautiful.
Or the most talented.
And definitely not born in the best family.
Nonetheless, neither of us, no matter how much willpower we are endowed with, has the possibility of choosing the environment we are born into. That is solely up to fate.
What we can choose, however, is how we adapt to the circumstances, how we behave, who we become and how we cope with the opinions that are – more often than not – negative and critical.
Especially when a woman, regardless of standards of an ossified, prejudiced society decides to make a living by being an actress. For Y/N Y/L/N no work was dishonorable. For the ladies of the ton, such profession was almost equal with being a lady of easy virtue. For the men – well- the behavior of some of them was below any norms of decency.
Funny how the point of view depends on the point of sitting.
***
She was late again.
For the third time this week and it was barely Wednesday. Not a good scorecard she kept and it definitely got under the skin of the theater owner. Y/N could not quite comprehend why the gentleman was so irritated since from the moment she stepped foot in that sanctuary of art she has been doing every single thing needed. Not only acting, but also cleaning the floor if required, repairing the costumes, helping with the dialogues. Very versatile all things considered.
Desperate for a job and survival? No, not entirely, maybe a little.
Enamored and passionate by the employ that gave her a bread and a questionable opinion. Yes, absolutely.
Rushing through the busy London streets, miraculously avoiding respectable matrons and their equally respectable lord consorts was not the best of the ideas of reducing, even to a small extent, the extent of her delay.
Y/N did not pay much attention while crossing the street either, obviously missing the speeding carriage and the moment she looked to the right, finding herself mere inches from the hooves of spooked horses, her entire life flashed in front of her eyes.
She let out a embarrassingly high cry of shock and freeze on the spot, mentally preparing herself of leaving the globe and letting her spirit fly away to some better world just like Julia Capulet did after her beloved Romeo—
“Watch out!” a man’s voice, a firm yet gentle grip of hand on her waist and a second later she was safely back on the pavement, sustaining no permanent injuries, save for rapid breathing and slightly flushed cheeks. “Are you all right, my lady?”
“I am not a lady.” She retorted automatically shaking her head and slowly raising her gaze to give thanks to her lifesaver “Mr. Bridgerton!” the second son of the late viscount was definitely not the person she expected to see and it made her take a step back immediately.
Almost ending up under another carriage if it wasn’t for Benedict Bridgerton’s reflexes and a bright, teasing smile.
“You don't learn from your mistakes, my lady” he teased “am I this repulsive to make you step away upon noticing my face? Is this how women behave this day?”
“Forgive me my Lord, I was blinded by all your glory” she almost rolled her eyes, saying the words before biting her own tongue. “oh…” the gasps that came out of her mouth a moment later only caused Benedict to laugh wholeheartedly.
“Not the usual reaction I get from a woman.”
“I can tell, my lord. I am sure ladies do swoon at the sight of you. And now that Viscount Bridgerton had tied the marriage knot you sure are looking for a wife so –” she sopped in the middle of the sentence realizing she was babbling again.
“Oh so you are a woman after all. Gossiping.” Benedict smirked.
“I beg your pardon!”
“Do I know you from somewhere?” he tilted his head examining her face trying to assess the possibility of them meeting before.
“No, my lord. I do not believe we have met.”
“May I have your name then, my lady?”
“Not a lady, my lord. And you should not preoccupy the place in your head with remembering my name.” she bowed, lacking skills a bit and – suddenly remembering that she was late – rushed to the theater.
Benedict Bridgerton.
Of course they have met before, but why would she remind him of the circumstances of the event happening so many weeks ago?
He was a student in the art academy, lately enhancing his skills in the portrait area, polishing the subject of anatomy. Both male and female, with the latter obviously much more involving in many hands-on way and that was not a secret. Those models were beautiful and fragile after all and being confronted with the harsh reality of XIX century London they had nothing more to offer than their bodies. Y/N almost ended up the same, but her talent for acting changed everything.
Regardless, her older brother was earning some additional funds by assisting the students, providing canvas, brushes, paints, wine, measures of various kinds. Whatever the domineering might wish for. And one day she was visiting him, entering the classroom without the knowledge that the lesson was still in progress.
And so she ended up in the middle of the room full of men with a naked model on the platform, under the barrage of astonished glances.
“Oh look, we got another one to help us study today!” one of the men cried out and the entire room started laughing. “You ought to wait for your turn, sweetheart. Do not fret though, we’ll take proper care of you.”
She blushed like a peony, her hands trembling a little.
“I was eagerly awaiting the moment when the Academy will provide us with a full shaped, average of beauty woman and here we are! My prayers have been answered, gentlemen!”
She blushed even more at the clear invective threw her way. Men could really behave like animals in their own company. Zero decency, respect for others or moderation. And the worst part was that all the ton knew about this open secret and gave their universal consent to that. Men were supposed to have their flings before marriage even if that meant a lot of improper things.
Her half-furious, half-hurt eyes scanned the room, taking in all the men gathered their and their attire, not paying much attention to either before landing on that one person who actually looked like having at least a little self-reflection.
Benedict Bridgerton.
Frozen with the brush in his hand and slightly unbuttoned shirt, torn between joining the common laugh on her expense and putting an end to this merciless, ongoing teasing. Before he could do a thing however she put an end to his misery and left the room with the solemn resolution to never interact with any of those debauched animals.
Judging Benedict as quickly and easily as all the society judged her.
***
“Quickly! We’re almost starting and you cannot seem to be on time even once!”
“I am—”
“do not interrupt me girl, put on the costume and get on the stage! I swear one of those days you will make me do the thing I will regret!”
***
That woman spurred some memories in Benedict’s mind even if couldn’t fully put all the pieces of the picture together. At least not until Eloise playfully smacked his side.
“What?”
“Do you know who you just saved?”
“That girl back there?” he massaged the sore place giving his sister a reproachful look “no idea. Should I know her?”
“That’s Y/N Y/L/N!”
“Uh… okay?”
“She’s an actress!”
“Um…”
“She’s a self-made, independent woman not looking for marriage and free of societal expectations!”
“You better not let out mother find out that a woman with no title is your role model.”
“Oh I’d be more than happy to let her know that. I believe that the amount of injustice put on women-“
“I do realize the amount of your thoughts in the subject.”
“Since when are you judgmental?” Eloise scoffed
“I am not!”
“Fine then Come see her performance with me.”
***
Y/N was almost pushed on the stage, without having any time to gather her thoughts or to revise her role, forced to improvise by putting on a bright fake smile and subjecting the audience to a minute or two of suspension, before realizing what she was supposed to play that day.
Clearing her throat and fixing her costume she stepped into the light, joining the rest of the cast on the stage and started giving her lines.
Any other time she would be focused solely on the scene and words coming out her mouth making sure each of them were perfectly accentuated and spoke just the right way.
So what was this inexplicable instinct that made her scan the audience?
Spotting him.
With his eyes fixed on her, showing something that could not be mistaken for anything else but sheer admiration.
And she did not like it at all.
to be continued? ;)

ONE THREE
TWO
The next few days at the Bridgerton house are chaotic yet incredibly fun. Between walks and conversations with Eloise, helping Francesca with embroidery during silent but very focused hours, and spending time reading with Colin, who introduced you to his favorite books and recommended others, you are quite busy. Every day you have tea with Lady Violet Bridgerton, who is enthusiastic about the idea of finding a suitor for you during the ball season. You try to share her enthusiasm, but the truth is that spending time with her family seems more adventurous than getting married. Today, for instance, you are taking Hyacinth and Gregory to pick some apples in the garden. In reality, Gregory wants to practice archery, and you think it would be a good exercise for the younger ones. Regarding the two older brothers, you have been avoiding them. It's not an easy task, but with Lydia's help, you have managed to escape any moments alone with them. You feel embarrassed for pretending to be hurt in front of one and for covering for the other. Daphne is the only one you have yet to meet, but according to the Bridgerton family, you will soon. Recently, Eloise introduced you to a close friend named Penelope. You found her to be very perceptive and kind, which is good since she seems to be part of the family, and you want to make a good impression.
"Lady Violet Bridgerton, I assure you that the three of us will be very careful while picking apples. When I was Hyacinth's age, it was my favorite pastime," you say as you finish adjusting your shoe. Lady Bridgerton still looks a bit concerned as she watches Hyacinth and Gregory run off with their bows and arrows. You smile, imagining how it will be to spend time with them.
"Believe me, dear, you will need someone to help you with those two," Lady Violet says, somewhat nervously. You look at her, feeling uncertain, and then you hear someone approaching the room where you are.
"I believe I can be of use as the older brother at this moment. I was just finishing up some financial matters, and it seems that fresh air will do us all some good," Viscount Anthony Bridgerton says, surprising you and Lady Violet. You know that Lydia will be joining you, but staying with him and the younger siblings seems like a risk.
"That won't be necessary, Viscount. There's no need to disrupt your busy schedule when I am more than capable of handling this task with my companion," you respond instantly, as if the answer were at the tip of your tongue. Anthony gives you a mischievous smile, indicating that he plans to accompany you anyway, which makes you feel a bit uneasy. Lady Violet, however, seems more relieved.
"Miss Y/L/N, forgive my frankness, but it seems that you do not desire my company. If that is the case, I would like to clear up any misunderstanding by reaffirming that I will be accompanying you and my siblings on this apple-picking outing," Viscount Bridgerton says assertively, taking a step closer to you. You stare at him, almost forgetting that there are others around you.
"Viscount, I can assure you that such an impression is a misunderstanding. I would never have any problem with your company. I simply would not want to disrupt the busy life of a Viscount, especially as a guest in his house." A lie on your part, as you really want to avoid spending time with Anthony. The Viscount Bridgerton is one of the most sought-after men in society. One wrong rumor about the two of you, and your mother would be demanding a wedding at Queen Charlotte's doorstep in a matter of minutes.
"Y/N, I can assure you that my son, busy as he may be, always finds time to spend with his siblings. You will essentially be helping him look after the younger ones. And certainly, my son will be honored by your company," Lady Violet says, lightly tapping her eldest son's arm as if expecting him to support her statement. Anthony nods slightly, as if in agreement.
"In that case, please join us, Viscount. Goodbye for now, Lady Bridgerton," you say, looking kindly at Violet and heading towards the exit of the house. Gregory and Hyacinth follow you while Anthony says something to his mother and then approaches you. Your companion, Mrs. Lydia, comes behind you silently. She seems to want to give you or Anthony space to talk. The two teenagers seem to be having fun walking among the trees.
"Miss Y/L/N, how long exactly do you intend to avoid me?" Viscount Bridgerton speaks near you, pretending to pay attention to something else so that Lydia doesn't suspect he's trying to talk to you.
"You don't need to pretend to be looking for bees among the flowers, Viscount Bridgerton. Lydia won't suspect you. As for your question, I think it's fair to say that given the nature of our last encounter, some distance seems plausible." You try to answer his question without really answering it. He smiles slightly, but it's a nervous smile. He watches the siblings ahead of us, while Lydia takes the opportunity to chat with the young Bridgertons.
"I wasn't pretending. A bee around here is too dangerous. But getting back to our main topic, I would like to apologize for the first impression I gave you," he says as if it were an obligation for him to say so, without truly wanting to apologize. You look at him, finding his pretense amusing.
"Apologies accepted, Viscount. Was that why you wanted to come with us? To apologize for your mistake?" You ask as you and Anthony walk side by side. Hyacinth and Gregory shout, calling for their brother and you as they find an apple tree.
"Not only to apologize for my mistake," Viscount Bridgerton clears his throat loudly, "but also to give you the chance to apologize to me." As soon as Anthony says this, you shoot an arrow accurately at one of the apples at the top of the apple tree that Gregory and Hyacinth are looking at. The two are pleasantly surprised and shout that your aim is great. However, Viscount Bridgerton seems to have become nervous, perhaps even a little irritated.
"Apologize to the Viscount for what reason?" You ask as you both stop walking and face each other. He seems indignant for some reason.
"For not behaving as a lady of your stature should. Surely you know you should have forced me to marry the young lady because of what happened. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to get married, and certainly not to you. I just think that in your place, I would be more concerned about this issue," Anthony says presumptuously, leaving you offended. You look him up and down and smile. He seems not to understand.
"Viscount, I must say that you seem to have misunderstood what happened. You intruded into a room designated for me, a lady. Yet somehow, you think I owe you something. Very well. I give you a warning: if a situation like this happens again, I will be your wife faster than you can pronounce Bridgerton." Your threatening tone seems to intrigue the Viscount.
"Is that a threat, Miss?" Viscount Anthony Bridgerton speaks as if surprised by the way you speak to him.
"The trick to hitting a target like that is to always have concentration and patience. A bit of determination is also appropriate." As you approach Gregory, who can't take his eyes off the arrow, you notice Anthony looking at you with a hint of mockery.
"I believe the young lady is mistaken. Hitting the target is about strength and often talent." You hear this and feel as if he is belittling your technique. So, you raise your bow and arrow in his direction, holding it out to the Viscount in front of you.
"Try to hit the target with your method then, Viscount. Let's see which one of us knows more about what we're talking about." You say, challenging him. He doesn’t hesitate to try to hit an apple almost in the same place you did. He is so sure he will surpass you that it's almost comical when his arrow hits an apple below yours. Gregory and Hyacinth are shocked while he shows no expression.
"Dear brother, I think Miss Y/L/N's method seems to be more effective," Hyacinth says with a humorous tone. Anthony looks annoyed.
"I want to try hitting the target using your tactic, brother," Gregory says as he grabs his own bow and arrow. Hyacinth laughs at him while he struggles to place the arrow on the bow.
"I actually prefer using Miss Y/L/N's tactic," Hyacinth says, showing you how quickly she can place the arrow on the bow. You guide her to focus on the target and tell her to think of something that makes her angry to make her more determined. You can hear Anthony assisting Gregory. Anthony and you exchange glances while helping the younger ones practice archery. Later, you all gather some apples together.

CHAPTER 1- “what. The. F*ck”
Ford pines x platonic!teenage!reader
Summary- Reader and their friends go out to the forest. When reader is looking for a secluded area to pee instead they find a creepy statue. That definitely won’t lead to nothing more… right?
Warnings- teeny bit of swearing, reader is gender neutral, this is probably the only time these friends will be in the story they are only here to add context for the chapter.
it’s been 4 months since stand and Ford returned from their travels on the Stan o’ War and for the most part life has been normal. fords house is still ‘The Mystery Shack’ Stan and Soos co-manage the shack, Ford still continues his studies of Gravity Falls even writing a 4th jornal (it’s more of a personal jornal just for Dipper) and best of all there is no Bill. The pines family is no longer being terrorised by demonic triangle. YAY!
Now for you a 17 year old kid living in Gravity Falls. You are very ordinary you go to high school, have a close group of friends, decent grades and like every other teenager in Gravity falls you want to get the hell out of there. Even with Gravity Falls weirdness for example the gnomes you’ve encountered (that tried to force you to become their wife), and the ghost that haunts you’re old hangout spot (the abandoned 24h convenient store) the weird and supernatural just never really interested you.
Now for the present. It is a Saturday afternoon July 2017 you and your friends (Maren, Rebekah, Owen, and Julia) All decided to go deep Into the forest just for something to do. Owen and Julia were walking ahead of you, Maren, Rebekah, and You were gossiping about some junior his name was something like Gary? Gideon? Definitely on those lines. You spoke about his criminal history what is insane as at the baby age of 11 this boy was in prison. You all continued walking until you shouted to the group.
“Wait guys! I gotta pee” you shout so Owen and Julia would hear aswell.
Rebekah turned to you “babe… where about are you gonna pee? We are miles away from any bathroom.”
You look around and see a patch of land totally hidden with thick trees. “I’ll go over there” you point.
“Cool. We’ll just be here” Owen nods.
You walk over to the “pee spot” you walk into the tall trees and as you do the vibe changes from ‘normal woods’ to ‘suddenly I don’t need to pee anymore’. You feel as if you are being watched. You walk further in trying to shake the feeling. That is until you see a stone statue sticking out from the ground. It’s triangle shaped. On the one hand it’s creepy but on the other how can anything look creepy when it’s wearing a top hat and bow tie? You take a quick picture of it muttering under your breath “ahaha this is cool” and quickly leave (without peeing). You head back to the group not mentioning the statue you saw. A few hours pass and it’s getting dark so all of you head home.
When you 5 make it back to main gravity falls you all go your separate ways saying byes. The walk to your house isn’t long just 5 minutes away from lazy Susan’s diner. You reach you’re home taking out you’re key from you’re pocket and letting yourself in, you heat up left over pasta in the microwave and go to your room. You place the bowl on your dresser when you see a black book sitting on your bed. You know for a fact you didn’t put it there. Curiosity takes over and you pick it up skimming through the pages and taking in it’s horrifying illustrations and stories.
Two things you notice about the book-
1) the book was covered in drawing of the statue you saw in the woods. (Strange)
2) there was one man who repeatedly showed up. You recognise his face from somewhere… you take a moment to think that’s when it hits you the mystery shack! This is the man who owns the mystery shack!! You need to talk to him ask him what the fuck is going on.
You close the book and toss it under your bed not wanting to look at it any longer the only thing you can say is
“What. The. Fuck.”
—————————————————————
Okay!!! Chapter 1 done. Yay!! I know the dates and ages of characters I’ve used may not line up with the actual plot of GF but oh well just try to ignore it lol

And they were Roommates- Cassie Webb x f!Reader
Summary: Dating- or trying to at least- Cassie Webb has never been easy. She dislikes almost everything and everyone, but the week after she has a near death experience really tests your devotion to your ice princess of a roommate/girlfriend.
A/N: I just saw this camp masterpiece and had to write a little something for it. Let me know your thoughts!
A frantic call from your roommate/girlfriend asking you to purchase a plane ticket to Peru and drive to a motel on the outskirts of the city was truly the cherry on top of the crazy sundae that life alongside Cassandra Webb had been that week.
Of course you bought the ticket and of course you drove out to the sketchy motel because it was Cassie, your Cassie.
You pulled into the parking lot just as Cassie and three girls came down the motel stairs.
"What the hell is going on Cass," you asked as you got out of the car.
Cassie approached you. "I don't have time to go over it again (y/n). Did you get what I asked for?"
You nodded and handed her a printed out plane ticket.
"One ticket to the Peruvian amazon," you said as you handed it to her.
"Can you just keep them out of sight and safe until I'm back. It shouldn't be more than a day or two," Cassie said as she stuffed the ticket into her backpack.
You looked over at the three young girls. They looked a mixture of scared and bored.
Then you turned back to Cassie.
"Of course I just- Cass I'm worried about you. You've been acting really strange this week I-," you started but Cassie cut you off.
"There's a lot going on (y/n). I promise I'll tell you all about it but later. Right now I need to go." Cassie interrupted then she turned to the three girls behind her. "This is Julia, Mattie, and Anya. Girls, this is (y/n), you'll stay with her while I go to Peru and find answers to what's been going on."
The girls each nodded then turned to you. Mattie looked you up and down.
"How do we know we can trust her? Who is she," asked Mattie.
"Her girlfri-," you replied mindlessly. "My roommate-," Cassie interjected.
You turned to her, "Seriously?"
"Girlfriend? Like friend that's a girl?" Julia asked, head slightly tilted.
"I think she meant girlfriend as in the lesbian kind," Anya replied.
The girls looked at each other then turned to Cassie.
Cassie looked between you and the three girls. She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"That's irrelevant as this is a life or death moment. So please just stay out of trouble while I try to find the answers we need," Cassie replied with an exasperated breath.
The girls said goodbye to Cassie then piled into the back seat of your car.
Cassie walked over to a busted yellow taxi cab and threw her backpack into the back seat.
You walked over to her. "Cass, are you sure about this? On the phone, you sounded kinda..."
"Crazy," Cassie interjected.
"No, I wouldn't ever call you that. I'm just concerned. This week has been a lot for you and I worry," you confessed.
Cassie stepped closer towards you. You longed to reach out and wrap your arms around her but you knew she didn't feel comfortable with such open displays of affection.
"I really appreciate everything you've done for me (y/n). I know you didn't sign up for any of this when we- when you-."
"When I said yes to living with you? Dating you?" You asked with a smile tugging at your lips.
You noticed the light blush that bloomed across Cassie's face.
"Yeah," she replied and sheepishly looked away.
You softened. "I trust you, that's why I bought you the plane ticket. Whatever answers you need I hope you find them."
You reached out and grabbed Cassie's hand. She let you, so you knew it was okay to lace your fingers with hers and give her hand a gentle squeeze.
"Just promise me you'll be safe," you said, your voice thick with worry.
Cassie nodded. "Of course I will."
You sighed and let go of Cassie's hand. You stepped back.
"Okay, you can go."
Cassie smiled then turned and opened the cab door.
You turned around and started to walk back to your car.
But you didn't get more than a few steps away before someone grabbed your hand and spun you around.
Before you could say anything you felt lips crash against yours- familiar lips with a familiar cherry lip balm.
Cassie let go of your hand and wrapped an arm around your waist. You reached up and cupped her face with your hands.
A whistle from behind made you pull apart.
You felt your face get red hot.
The girls giggled from inside the car.
"For the road," Cassie said as she tried to catch her breath.
"Kissing me in public? Now I'm really concerned," you joked.
Cassie shook her head and let you go. Then she walked back to the taxi cab and got inside.
You stood there and waved as you watched the cab pull out of the motel parking lot and drive off.
You sighed then walked to the driver's side of your car and got inside.
The second you sat down the girls leaned forward in their seats.
"We have so many questions," Mattie said.
The other two girls nodded.
You let out a laugh. "I'm sure you do, but first- we eat pie."
Mattie smiled. "Already you're my favorite."
You smiled and put the car in drive. You didn't have a clue what was going on or what Cassie was up to but you knew you'd always be there for her. Even when that meant playing babysitter to a couple of nosy- but well meaning teen girls.

Hong's Anatomy: Part 1
Pediatrician surgeon! Joshua x pediatric surgeon! Female Reader
Synopsis: Coming to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital wasn’t on your bucket list, that’s for sure, but when you meet the head of your department, Joshua Hong, it's one of the only things that constantly brightens your day.
Warnings: swearing, made up medical terms and procedures, i have no idea if any of this is medically accurate it’s just for story, flirting, no smut…yet?
Words: 3.5k (not quite 5k words, but I had to end this part like this)
NOT EDITED, SO I MAY GO BACK AND EDIT LATER (teehee)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Julia Harring, fifteen years old, kidney failure. Waited six months on the donor list and today is finally the day,” Surgical intern Jonah read, as Julia nodded.
“Why do both of you have to work on me? I thought it was only one big fancy surgeon per patient?” Julia asked, referring to both you and Joshua. You chuckled and checked her monitor to record her stats.
“This is a bigger surgery Julia. You should be grateful that Doctor Hong and I are both making sure that your transplant goes well.” Julia rolls her eyes and smiles.
“I have to go see another patient, but I’ll see you in the OR,” Joshua smiles, as you nod and Julia waves, before making his way down the hall.
Julia smiles and looks at you from the corner of her eye, “he’s hot.”
“You think so?” You joke back, as she nods. “Doctor Hong is quite popular here, so I’m sure you aren’t the only one that thinks that.”
“Including you?”
You pause in the middle of changing her I.V to look around the room. Luckily there was no one, but if anyone did here, it would be incredibly embarrassing.
“I think Doctor Hong is a lovely person and an incredible surgeon, I haven’t paid attention to his appearance,” you state resuming changing the I.V as she scoffs.
“Please, you were both making eyes at each other the whole time. Don’t tell me you don't like even thinking of becoming a thing with him?” Julia said, lifting her arm both for the I.V and to shrug.
“I don’t have time to make it a ‘thing’ with Doctor Hong Julia. If I was a ‘thing’ with Doctor Hong, I wouldn't have time to help you,” you say inserting the I.V causing Julia to wince. “Don’t touch the I.V for a bit, I’ll get someone to catch up with you right before the surgery.” Julia nodded, as you left the room and asked Green to check up on Julia’s vitals before the surgery and report to you before your pager went off to go down to the pit.
“What’s going on?” You asked, watching a whole bunch of people benign wheeled across the pit and placed in the rooms.
“School bus accident, dozens of kids were injured,” Joshua exclaimed rushing to room one, “go to room five.”
You nodded and put on a fresh pair of gloves before making your way into room 5. “What’s their case?”
“Mikayla Thurthey, nine years old. Broken arm, broken rib, punctured lung. If we move the fractured rib or anything on the right side the lung starts leaking and fluid can flood the lung,” Mingyu said, working busily around the room.
“Shit,” you muttered under your breath, watching the little girl in front of you crying. “Can we get an OR?” We need to fix the arm and fix the lung right now?” Mingyu nodded, and started wheeling Mikayla down the hall to the elevator. While you were running down the hall, you saw Joshua giving a boy CPR and pulling out a crash cart.
“Clear!”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Okay, can you work on the lung. I can do the arm?” Mingyu asked, as you nodded and started washing your hands.
“How many more kids were like this?” You asked quietly. Slightly terrified of the answer.
“Just two. Mikayela and Justin, the boy Josua was working on. The rest were hurt, but with a few broken arms and legs or whiplash. These two were at the back and got the grunt of the force from the accident.” You nodded, and took a deep breath.
“Let’s do this,” you said, as you both headed into the OR.
Once you had gotten to the lung you noticed the puncture and started thinking about what to do. You moved quickly and removed the debris and instructed Green to keep consistent suction on the site to prevent the fluid from flooding the lung while you started working on repairing the site.
“More suction Green,” you calmly asked, as Green got closer into the site. “Mingyu?”
“Yeah?” He asked, not looking up.
“She’s hypotensive, can you back off the arm from a second,” you said, as Mingyu backed away from her arm and looked over to see you working on trying to steady her episode.
“Green? What do you do when someone is hypotensive?” You asked, as Green paused for a moment, but quickly responded.
“Ensure effective manual ventilation of the lungs,” He responded confidently.
“Yes, but she’s already on ventilation, and it’s not helping,” you challenged.
“I don’t know then,” he confessed as you nodded.
“That’s okay, we’re going to get you to not only suction but also apply some air pressure on the site to make sure that it’s getting ventilated properly. It’s okay that you don’t know, this doesn’t happen very often,” you reassured him, as he nodded and started applying the pressure. A few moments later, her vitals went back to normal and Mingyu resumed working on her broken arm again.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the surgery, you were given a lunch break, so you decided to eat outside in the ‘greenhouse’ section of the hospital. Once you got there you saw Joshua sitting on the bench you’ve claimed, crying.
“Joshua?” You asked, slowly approaching him. He quickly spun around and wiped his tears away.
“Oh. Hi, sorry,” he started, “I was just leaving.”
“No, please don’t go,” you reached out, “are you okay?”
You assumed it was because of the boy, Justin, was the reason Joshua was crying, but you wanted him to tell you.
“I should be better with losses. I’ve had a ton of them,” he sighed, “but Justin was so scared when he was awake, he kept asking for his dad and asking me if his friend Mike was okay.” You empathetically nodded and placed a hand on his shoulder as he started to cry more.
“You did everything you could,” you tried to reassure him.
“I know I did. I always try my very best and it wasn’t enough. He died scared and alone,” he sobbed. “He didn’t die alone,” you interrupted.
“You were there with him, Rose was with him, there were people who cared about him when he died. He wasn’t alone.” Joshua took a deep breath, trying to calm down his breathing, and nodded.
“How did your surgery go?” He managed to stay in stuttering breaths.
“It went well. Managed to fix her punctured lung and broken arm and I had a teaching moment with Green,” you said, as Joshua wiped his nose and nodded.
“That’s good.”
You both sat in comfortable silence watching the clouds move above your heads, before his pager went off.
“I have to go check on Julia. Her surgery is right after your lunch, so I’m gonna go make sure everything is okay,” he said, wiping his nose one last time and standing up, wiping his hands on his pants.
“Okay, I’ll be there right when I’m done,” you smiled, as he nodded and started to head in before pausing.
“Thanks for letting me talk and comforting me like that. I’m supposed to do that for you.”
“We can treat it like a currency, I’ll comfort you, if you comfort me later?” You joked, as he chuckled, and looked down at the grass.
“So I’m in debt, great. Haven’t dealt with that in a while,” he joked back before heading inside. Leaving you alone to think about the vulnerable moment you just shared.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Doctor L/N?” Joshua asked, coming up to wash his hands right next to you.
“Doctor Hong?”
“Would you mind keeping our interaction, more specifically the… crying aspect of the conversation, private?” He whispered, as you nodded and shut off the water.
“Of course. I expect none the less when it comes my turn,” you said as he turned to see you and smiled, before putting on his mask.
“Let's go save a life.”
You nodded and walked into the OR to see some nurses you've never worked with before. Jennie, Yuna, and Jake, and a new anesthesiologist Jay.
“Hello everyone, let’s save this girl's life,” you said, as everyone nodded in agreement and started getting to work. Joshua made the first incision while you made sure the bleeding was controlled and moved a few organ’s around. Jonah had just gone to receive the kidney, since it was very delicate and had to be handled carefully and in a timely manner.
After about thirty minutes of Joshua making sure everything was okay, you started to make an incision on the lower abdomen to make room for the new one when Jonah came into the room with the new kidney.
Joshua took the kidney and slowly took it out while you back up a bit to let Joshua fit it in the new cavity. He placed it in when all the sudden the monitor started beeping rapidly.
“What’s happening?” Joshua asked, trying to not move too quickly and damage the kidney.
“She’s clotting and bleeding out!” You said, grabbing the suction and trying to clean up the pool forming. “Push Coumadin and get me some rag’s please!” You instructed Yuna and Jennie as they nodded while Jay worked on adding the Coumadin. “Put the kidney back, it’s gonna be a bit.” Joshua nodded and carefully put the kidney back and started moving to stitch up the bleeding.
You waited a few moments for the blood thinners to kick in but they weren’t working quick enough.
“Push more Jay!” You exclaimed, as Jay nodded and added more. Finally her blood started to thin out and her vitals were getting better. Joshua quickly finished up the stitches and picked up the kidney again placing it in the cavity and working on attaching it properly.
Right before closing Julia up you noticed some of her numbers weren’t looking quite right and didn’t want to stitch her up with unbalanced numbers.
“Can we test the kidney before we close?” You asked Joshua, as he nodded. You watched it, waiting for the color to appear into the kidney, which normally took up to two minutes after being placed in the body.
“Shit.” Joshua said, looking up at the clock. It had been about four minutes and the kidney was starting to look gray, instead of coloring. “It’s dying!”
“We’ve opened up a spot for her though,” you mumbled, trying to think of a solution when all the sudden the machines started beeping.
“She’s crashing!” Rose said, as everyone started running around.
“We did everything right! What’s going on?” Joshua confessed as you heard the machine flatline. “Shit, get the crash cart!”
You started compressions, and whipped your head to look at Joshua who was looking at her vitals wondering what was going wrong in the surgery, wile Rose handed you the paddles.
“Charge to 300. Clear!” You said, as Juila convulsed, but no heartbeat.
“Clear!”
350, “Clear!”
400, “Clear!”
“Charge to 450,” you exclaimed as Joshua sighed and looked at you trying desperately to save Julia.
“Y/N,” he muttered, “she’s gone,” he said. Trying to pry you from her body.
“No, she was in here for a kidney transplant, not a heart failure!” You cried, looking around the room to see everyone with their head down.
“Time of death, 17:21.” Joshua said, breaking the silence. You looked to Joshua to see him covering the incision and started to feel sick.
“Can you close alone, Doctor Hong?” You asked, as Joshua nodded. You quickly took off your mask and gloves and darted out of the OR.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Y/N?” Joshua asked, walking up to you at the Ped’s desk. You were looking over Julia’s charts again.
“I don’t get it. She was fine, they wouldn’t have given her the kidney if she wasn’t fine, why did her heart just stop like that? The blood thinners don’t stop your heart like that, it must have been something else,” you exclaim, not looking up from your tablet.
“You’ve been here for a long time, you need to go home. You can do some more research when you get back,” Joshua pleaded, trying to take the tablet from you.
“Joshua…”
“No, Y/N. You had two long surgeries, you’ve been here for twelve hours. You legally have to go home now,” he chuckled, but you could tell he was serious. Technically, he was your boss. So you listened and slowly put the tablet down.
“Julia was my first loss. I’ve been here for almost a month and she was my first loss,” you quietly confess. Joshua wouldn’t have heard it if he wasn’t facing you.
“You’re very lucky you’ve gone this long without a loss,” he answered.
“I know. My last job, I lost two kids on the first day, but it doesn’t make this loss any easier.”
“Of course,” he said, “the hard part about this job, right?”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Letting the loved ones know that they just lost their person is always the hardest part and unfortunately, that was Joshua’s job today. Julia’s parents were in the waiting room and her father was pacing around the room.
This was also the hardest part of the job.
“Excuse me, Mr. and Mrs. Harring?” Joshua asked the couple as they both nodded and stood up.
“Is Julia out yet?” Her mother asked.
“There was an unfortunate complication during Julais’ surgery. We were performing her transplant when her heart suddenly stopped beating,” Joshua explained, “we tried everything we could, but we couldn’t save her. She unfortunately passed away.”
Julia’s mother covered her mouth whilst letting out a sob, and her father furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and held his wife.
“What? I thought she was in there for her kidney? How did her heart stop?” Her father asked, tears also running down his face.
“We aren’t sure, the operation was going extremely successful. Neither I, nor Doctor L/N could figure out why. We tried everything we could though to try and start her heart again,” Joshua explained again, as her mother turned around and buried her face into her husband's shoulder, crying even harder.
“I’m so sorry for your loss.”
“Thank you Doctor,” her father choked out, before turning and burning his face into his wife's hair and crying as well.
Joshua waited for a few seconds before heading back to the desk. He sighed, and ran a hand through his hair before grabbing his tablet and started filling out paperwork.
He had lost two patients that day. He was also ready to go home.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“So, how’s your new job Y/N?” Your therapist asked.
You had been going to the same therapist ever since you graduated college. She was a lovely woman that you met when you lived back in South Korea. She really helped you during your internship and residency. You managed to keep in close contact with her even after you moved.
You sighed into the phone and took a sip of wine.
“It’s going well, I really like my coworkers. I’m still getting used to it and I haven’t made any real friends,” you confess.
“Why haven’t you made any friends?” She asked, you could hear her typing away on her laptop.
“Well at first I was just trying to keep up with the pace of the hospital. Then I was trying to just be liked by everyone. I never took time to get to know anyone,” you said, “I did ask someone out.”
“Oh! That’s good. Tell me about them,” she exclaimed.
“He’s technically my boss? Kinda, he’s the head of the Ped’s department, so we work together quite a bit. On my first day he asked me out, then the next day I asked him out, but we haven’t hung out since.”
“Are you wanting anything romantic out of him?” You sighed, and took a minute to think about the question. Not quite sure if you knew the answer.
“I don’t know. I mean he is very attractive and we do have pretty good chemistry,” you blush, “but again, we work together. So it’s complicated.”
“That doesn’t sound like a no.”
“Jisoo,” you warn, “it’s not a no, but I don’t want to rush into anything.”
“That’s perfectly valid, but you’re all alone in a big city. Romantic intentions or not, you should still try and spend some more time with him,” she said, as you sighed. There was only a few minutes left in your session, so you both called it a night and promised to call again next month. Something you weren’t expecting from Jisoo though, was homework.
Make one close friend by next month.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were always the type of person to do your homework immediately. Assigned all the semester's course work? It was done by the end of the month. So when you got homework from Jisoo, you wanted to get it done immediately. Which meant that you needed to get started immediately.
Joshua wasn’t coming in until halfway through your shift, so that meant that you had half a day to come up with ideas of how to befriend others.
“Why the long face?” Jeonghan asked. You never really see him in the Ped’s department, so seeing him was a surprise. Now was the time to try and make a new friend.
“I was just thinking how it’s a friday and that I don’t have any plans after work,” you confessed, “do you want to go for dinner after work?”
“Dinner?” He asked, you could tell he was quite taken aback, but he had a smirk on his face. “I’d love to.”
“Great. I get off at seven, but I’d like to go home and freshen up,” you said, as Jeonghan nodded. You both exchanged numbers and agreed that he’d pick you up from your apartment at eight, and go out to dinner.
Good progress toward your homework.
“See you at eight,” he smirked, before heading into one of his patients' rooms.
“Did you just score a date with Doctor Yoon?” Jake asked, as you turned around and tried to hide your blush.
“Maybe, he didn’t call it a date,” you replied. Jake rolled his eyes.
“I heard that whole conversation. It’s a date Y/N.”
“What’s a date?” You heard behind you. More specifically, Joshua’s voice.
Shit.
“Y/N is going on a date with Doctor Yoon,” Jake answered. You looked to Joshua to see a little look of surprise on his face.
“It’s not a date, I’m just trying to make some friends,” you mumbled, “and Doctor Yoon seems like a good friend.”
“He is a very good friend, I would know. He’s my best friend,” Joshua said, putting his hands in his pants pockets and crossing his legs.
Shit. Again.
You just set up a date with your boss/kinda crushes best friend.
A/N: OMG, this was quite the chapter. I had a lot of fun learning/ making up some medical procedures. I tried my best to be as medically accurate as possible, but google can only tell you so much. Also, Jeonghan has been added into the arena! I love the banter that Joshua and Jeonghan have and I just new that I had to have his smirky/sassy attitude! I really do hope you like this ♥

I know you're super knowledgable about Bridgerton so I wanted to get your thoughts and opinions on this. As someone who hasn't read the books (but Idc about spoilers), I wonder how the show is gonna have Eloise end up with Mr. Crane. From what I know of the books from the wiki fan page and Tumblr the books really seem like a suggestion at this point lol and I just cant conceptualize her ending up with him but I'd love your input or theories.
I hope Eloise is one of the very last seasons. I hate so many of her decisions but I empathize w her and I'm so fucking invested in her growthI and thats gonna take time and I dont want them to rush that for the sake of order
I Don’t know about super knowledgeable 😂
I think… they’re going to have to pull some pretty major changes to that story to get it to work within the context of the show at this point. That’s why for a split second I thought Eloise and Michaela Stirling were getting paired up. And truthfully I think one of the major problems the show has to face is the Marina of it all.
I have said many times and I will stand by it still that Julia Quinn is not the world’s greatest author. But something she is good at is giving you only the information you need to invest in the relationship that she wants you to invest in. In the books we have no idea who Marina is (A distant Bridgerton cousin in the books) until Phillip starts talking about her at the beginning of the book. That means, we find it a little tragic that she suffered from these mental health issues but were distanced from it. That’s very different from the darkness of a character that we know suffering the same fate. It also I feel… won’t really play that well given she was the one who gave Colin a speech about the fact that she was content enough with her life and didn’t need saving. That’s a switch up.
I think… there’s a lot of work to do to get Eloise and Phillip to a place where they’re right for each other.
I have been critical of the line they’ve taken with Eloise because I feel like she fails to recognize the privilege she has that she doesn’t need to marry. Violet might nudge her a bit over enthusiastically in that direction but she really seems to have given up on that after last season. And Anthony, after the disaster of making a match for Daphne and after finding that his life is SO much improved being married to Kate ho he loves very much is NOT going to arrange her a match and force her to go through with it. Few women were afforded this. And Eloise does not recognise that at all. They got SO FUCKING CLOSE to her acknowledging this through her friendship with Cressida this season. And then they threw it back in my fucking face! True feminism is about having the CHOICE.
I feel like Tyra Banks.
Eloise has a lot to learn and one of my criticisms of season three is that I felt Penelope and Colin weren’t ready for each other and needed to grow more so I hope they take their time with Eloise.
This is just one person’s opinion of course. Has no bearing on anything.
