This is so sad, but honestly so in character for Lloyd, I love it.
I just want to add that I think Kai would understand how he feels, with the whole "wanting to be someone else" thing. Maybe the two could relate and have a heart to heart. Idk. I like to think the ninjas would have wholesome scenes with each other. Because I loved that one blooper where Nya was helping Lloyd be less nervous.
So apparently it's cannon that movie lloyd collects a lot of green ninja merch to the point where he's known for his collection of it. While at first this may just seem egotistical or mabye just a dorky quirk of his I started to actually think of a character reason for it and of course my brain immediately went to something sad-
What if the reason he collects so much green ninja merch is because it reminds him that there's a version of him that people love. That even though everyone makes it abundantly clear they hate lloyd garmadon they love the green ninja. And when the bullying gets to much and he feels overwhelmed by all the hatred that starts to suffocate him the second he walks out the house he's able to just look around his room and see the merchandise scattered around him and breathe a little better. The sight of all the different things made in appreciation of one of the city's heroes comforting him and making the smile he keeps on his face a little more genuine then it usually is. Making the pain from the bruises he gets in every battle to protect the city feel worth it.
#ninjago movie#yall im coping#im coping BAD.#I wish they had more wholesome scenes and the movie was more “found family” than anything

Hey... do you like Promare?
HI HEY HELLO!
Do you want to talk about Promare?
Did you just join the fandom to find out it's pretty much dead?
Are you tired of talking to the creepy man on the wall about your hyperfixation? Well I have the place for you!
Me and my friend created a Promare based discord server! Where you can talk about pretty much whatever you want! (that has to do with Promare, of course) It has everything you could possibly want! Theories, headcannons, ALL OF THAT JUICY AND DELICIOUS STUFF!
Of course, the server is brand new, and we don't have a lot of people, ha-ha. BUT if that sounds interesting to you, then why not join? If you like it, tell your friends!
WELCOME TO PROMARE PROPAGANDA
Indoctrinate.

How did Galo know Lio was crying?
[OBVIOUSLY SPOILER]
Another bit from the interview with writer Nakashima Kazuki in Spoon 2Di volume 53.
The interviewer said that the scene of Galo seeing Lio and thinking “He’s crying” was impressive, but they asked whether it wasn’t just because of the flame that seemed to flow out of the dragon’s eyes, but also because Galo sensed it.

Nakashima said that in the screenplay that he wrote, he didn’t include any direction about the tear-like flame that flew out of the dragon’s eyes; it’s added by the production. Galo is a firefighter, so he understands most about flames, and when he saw Lio’s out-of-control state, he thought there’s something different about Lio’s flame compared to the one he’d seen earlier. Also, at that time Galo has understood about Lio’s intention and what Lio has been doing to achieve it, and how Lio wouldn’t kill anybody. However, that Lio was rampaging and Galo thought Why and he intuitively thought that Lio was crying.
My personal thought: But this makes it so much more precious!!!!! (OK actually I’m listening to Inferno and I have tears in my eyes right now!)

Ok something I was thinking about is was what did Ignis mean by lio being "the root of all burnish crime" and "the world hunting him down for 30 years" but that doesn't really make much of any sense because we all know that Lio is only in his 20's.
Does this imply that Lio is older? (hope not)
Does this imply that the title of "the Mad Burnish leader" just gets tossed around?
Were there multiple Mad Brunish leaders? do they all pretend to be the same person???
HOW DOES THIS WORK??????!?!?!
Explain Ignis.
