...So! There are at least two people on tumblr who hate me with absolute loathing 🙃

#By which I mean that I've been on this new account for a few days only and two people have blocked me #I have not interacted with them in that time #and yes they had me blocked on my old account #so... the only explanation is that they regularly check the Silmarillion tag and saw my posts showing up in it?#but like this implies that (a) they remembered my url (which I changed recently?) and pfp (which people sometimes share??) that well #and (b) decided 'block on sight' was the thing to do #and (c) went *on* my blog to find the url of my main and blocked me there #...and that's some level of investment #I did in fact get into a quarell with one of the blogs... nearly two years ago I think #mostly to learn that they're a raging hypocrite (including but not limited to 'you vagueing me is rude but not the other way round)#but that was not the case with the other #anyway yeah I'm probably making more of it than most would because I seem to be the very rare one here to consider blocking a last resort?#but also one of those people clearly vagued that they detest me so apparently that's still the case😅#anyway they're an idiot but I don't like being detested. would prefer a mild dislike #*also the issue we thought on is no longer really a thing but whatever #therese rambles #I don't think this counts as a rant? idk #therese rants #no commiserations needed I can deal with it

#realized actually how badly I wanna change my theme more often but as you know I have my pfp dedication #and then I was like well why was I sticking with smth that matched my pfp anyway (<-likes having things match)#you can hide the icon on your blog it doesn't NEED to match (although the right shade of purple does go well with orange)#so yeah I was like actually I can do whatever I want forever. I did still have to change my pfp though #cause regular lesbian garfield is generic. link garf HAS to go with a zelda theme #what I really need is for gloomy to draw me a dozen garfields that will fit any color scheme and fandom #ask #not-tallytals #hi tals!

ive been wanting to revisit homestuck for the last year and ive finally gotten up and made a blog about it. i joined tumblr in 2015 specifically because i was reading homestuck and wanted to find fan content about it, but after a while i fell out of the space. i considered myself an ex-homestuck, if you will. but the fan space has changed so much in the almost 10 years since i first really started engaging with it and i really like a lot of the stuff being made now, it's been inspiring and kind of reflects what i remember getting out of the comic more, which just has really driven me to want to start doing fan stuff again. i made so much fanart all the time back when i was in high school, comics and sketches and digital pieces galore. i want to revisit it because in so many ways it feels like it provides a really good platform to jump off of if i want to draw but can't come up with anything right away, you know??? there's so many characters to doodle while you think. so here i am.
