NSFW EruRi headcanons
Tumblr media
HELL YEAH! LET'S DO THIS.
Warnings: NSFW (obviously), trans!levi is mentioned, and so is female anatomy. Terms used for trans!Levi's downstairs are dick and cunt. Enjoy!
Erwin definitely has a size kink. When he’s slowly easing himself inside of Levi, or when he’s fucking him and nearing the edge, Levi would hear him mumble things like:
“My…how can such a pretty little hole like yours fit my huge cock inside?”
“Fuck, your waist is tiny…God, you’re so small—that’s so cute.”
“M…m’ gonna come, Levi…I’m gonna…I’m gonna fill up that tiny hole with so much seed…”
Levi LOVES giving Erwin head. Sometimes, he’ll cross his eyes from how aroused he is while on his knees. It’s even better if Erwin is in control—grabbing him by the hair, fucking his face to chase his release…Levi loves nothing more than being just a hole in those moments.
Though Erwin prefers to top, both he and Levi switch from time to time. When Levi tops, he always reduces Erwin to a pathetic, moaning mess.
Erwin’s an ass guy. In bed, he loves to toy with Levi’s ass—he’ll spank him, eat him out, or put objects in his ass like anal beads or plugs. (this also applies to trans!Levi: they both love anal stimulation.)
A while after meeting Erwin, Levi became more vocal in bed. At the start of their relationship, however, he’d often stifle his moans. It arouses Erwin intensely when Levi tries to be quiet, but instead, he can’t contain himself.
Erwin likes to be edged, and he likes it when Levi makes him beg.
Giving Levi a handjob is so simple, yet incredibly rewarding for Erwin. He likes to slightly overstimulate him—milking both cum and whimpers from his partner.
To follow up on the last headcanon, Erwin loves putting his fingers to work on trans!Levi. He’ll maneuver his fingers in a way that makes him shake and silently whimper for more.
(trans!Levi headcanon) Sometimes Erwin likes to take it slow. During foreplay, he’ll circle his tip around Levi’s dick, and/or he’ll drag his cock up and down in between the lips of his cunt. The longer he does it, the more desperate and squeamish the man below him gets. What a sight for sore eyes…
“Fuck, Erwin, just put it in already…”
“This… ah …This is such bullshit.”
“I need it. I need you in me so bad, Ervy, just…nngh~”
Sometimes Levi and Erwin just make out for hours on end…Erwin finds it very erotic, sucking on his lover's soft, plump lips.
Erwin has sensitive nipples…Levi loves to tease him by sucking and pinching them while they make out or while they have sex.
Levi likes to play with Erwin’s tits. Like, a lot.
Erwin loves to eat out Levi…he’s very skilled with his tongue. Every time he’s down there, whether he’s eating his ass or his cunt, he has Levi as noisy as can be.
both Levi and Erwin love giving/receiving oral from each other in general tbh
In their relationship, Erwin tends to be the dominant one, and Levi the submissive. However, one of Erwin’s “dirty secrets” is that he would love to be dommed by Levi—to be spanked, or tied up by him…edged and overstimulated for hours… it's something he thinks about often.
Speaking of Erwin’s dirty secrets…he definitely has a thing for feet. Levi’s feet. He thinks he keeps it hidden pretty well, but Levi 100% already knew; during sex, when Levi’s legs are up in the air, he catches Erwin sneaking several glances at his feet. Or, he’ll enthusiastically offer random foot massages, swearing that it was only because Levi “had a long day”.

Note
However, I don't know how to feel about Levi because of the real source material (Isayama interviews, smartpass story and side material like that…) and the 'professional' Japanese translators on this blog. I think he really is, according to the correct Japanese translations and Isayama interviews, he is really dragging humanity through the mud for his personal feelings… and he is someone who is floating and aimless because of Erwin's death… So much so that Isayama even thought of killing him many times because he didn't know what to do about him and threw him aside… also I guess he has no interest in women… oh and Ackerbond is probably real… I know it's not a canon ship and I know he's not in love, but that doesn't mean it's not written too reductively to Erwin. And it disgusts me…
Because of the source material, side material, canon discourse and Japanese translator blogs, my opinion of him is changing more and more and I think I will throw my LevixOc project in the trash… Levi is really someone who (because of Isayama's writing) has been hypnotized by Erwin's own goals and has taken control of Levi's entire character and actions. I don't think I could take him (or s/o) out of this hypnosis.
I know you can say "Isayama's opinions can change" or "only what is in the manga is canon" and I used to hide behind that for consolation, but I realized that once Isayama said it, it was true and it stayed there. And I think the interviews are necessary to understand the content of the scenes etc. in the manga.
Even analysis is no longer a comfort for me… after all, why need complicated writing when interviews and manga are the source of what really happened there…
I guess he's not the character I thought I wanted… I wish he was his own man… I wish he wasn't a character to be discarded just because he died because of another character… or someone who is too picky and only accepts high standards… (this is just my own opinion based on the manga and the material/opinions I think Canon!Levi would be like that)
I'm deeply disappointed… As delulu as the Eruri fandom is, most of what they say is unfortunately true… after all, they take real sources and cite them as evidence… I don't think they are mistranslating because there are professional cold-blooded translators in this fandom and most of them quote what that blog says…
I wish I had never encountered this fandom and this character, so I wouldn't have to be so upset all these years…
Except that half of the interviews are either fake, completely twisted or don't exist. Especially that flaoting ballon bullshit, which a lot of Japanese fans say wasn't even said.
I will this again, please read the manga on your own and base your opinions on Levi on your own.
Since you already mention Eruri and i might ruin your day here but Eruri is as canon and Levihan is, it isn't. No Levi never prirotized Erwin over humanity and you'll understand that if you read the manga for yourself and analyse it for yourself without letting the fandom get to you.
Levi is his own man, he has his brain to think with and the only people who think he doesn't are shippers. Not once did Levi put his own selfish desires before humanity for anyone, he was as sad about Erwin's death as he was for the rest of his comrads. Not a single instance in the manga/anime or any actual official interviews given by Isayama was Levi reduced to Erwin, only a shipper would think that way. Oh and Ackerbond thing too, not only is that damaging to Levi's character, it is just creppy and definitely not a thing.
I am sorry anon but it seems like you don't understand Levi and his character at all. Isayama always said that Erwin and Levi were equal and sworn friends, he didn't say that because he hid some sort of hidden romance between the two, he said it because that's how it is, its a strong bond of trust and commandership and reducing it only to "Oh Levi is a love sick puppy who only cares about Erwin." is a mischaractertion at max.
My advice to you is to take a break from the fandom is they are making you not like your oc x Levi anymore, that's the best way to get them out of your head and please, base your own opinions, not what people online say.

Sumary: When Levi was forced to join the Survey Squad, he left someone behind, someone who had grown to hate him since then...
(Levi was forced to join the Survey Squad by Erwin, that's also why I don't like the ship Eruri [I love both, but together it's just toxic])
Pairing: Levi x fem! Reader
Warnings: Mention of abusive childhood, many traumas (bullying, mental abuse,...), angst, hurt
Tumblr media
Years have passed since you last saw him. The guy you grew up with, and the guy who betrayed you.
Growing up was hard for both of you. You had more luck with the standard of the family, but still, your life was hard. Being the kid of two people who hated each other and only communicated by yelling and fighting wasn't exactly a good place for a child.
People around you always found something to mock and bully you. Kids your age were the worst. Except for him, you met Levi when you were forced to go to a club with your so-called father.
He never stopped drinking, so you just went to search for a silent corner to wait till this horror was over. But the only place that was at least a little bit calm was occupied with a dark-haired slim boy.
"Family problems?", you asked him.
"Something like that," he awnserd, and you silently walked towards and sat beside him.
"Wanna talk?,"
He shook his head for a 'No', which you totally got. You also wouldn't want to tell a literal stranger your deepest and darkest secrets, but on the other hand, letting it out would be better. It seemed like your whole life purpose was to hold the burdens of your family, no matter if you could take it or not.
"What's your name? I'm (Y/n). My siblings wanted that to be my name. It's ugly. I know,"
"Levi," he awnserd short and quietly.
"You know, my father is a lot here. It would be nice to have someone here I could spend my time with. Would you mind?",
He just blinked, which you got as a sign that he didn't care. But you weren't someone to give up just like that. Otherwise, you might have never managed to survive.
Breaking the ice was hard when it came to this boy, but after a few times of being there, he even told you that he actually liked your name and thought it was pretty. A little while after that, you caught him crying because some neighbor kids made fun of him (this was before his mother died, so he didn't know how to defend himself cause no Kenny). Those weren't new for you. They also constantly mocked you.
"Hey! Three against one? You're cowards!" After you managed to distract them from Levi, you tricked them into believing you went home when you really went to search for your friend.
You found him leaning onto a brick wall and sat beside him in silence.
"Thanks, but why did you do that?",
"Because it's OK if they make fun of me, but not if they make fun of my friends. I don't care what they do to me. I look out for you. And I know you look out for me. That's what friends are there for,"
Since that incident, nothing parted you guys. You even switched your birth necklaces to show that you were connected. But everything good must come to an end.
When his mother died, you didn't see him for weeks, so when you went to look for him, you met his uncle Kenny. You both pep him up again, and since your family didn't care about you, you decided to be with Levi since he needed someone after losing his mother.
Kenny taught you how to defend and provide for yourself, but that was it. He left you when you had learned it all.
"Even if he's gone now, we still have each other. Nothing really bad can happen to us as long as we have each other,"
It was you. Always you. You were the one who comforted him when he had to deal with shit. You were there for him to fix what society broke. And even after you allied with others, you two were the closest. No one could come in between.
That's what you thought.
After your team took Isabel in, you thought it would only become better. She even called Levi, her big brother, to his annoyance. It was like a sting right to your heart. But Isa didn't know what you both had gone through together, so you felt guilty of feeling this way. Besides her seeing him like her brother, didn't mean you were replaced! Your bond was stronger than that of siblings or lovers. Once you swore to never let anything part you, you'd never be separated, never.
Until one order changed everything.
You thought it was the Military Squad, but nope, it was the Survey Squad. You were the only one who managed to get away. But you watched from a distance how a soldier pushed Levi into a puddle of mud that had the consistency of water. Hell for him...
But when you went to go closer to hear what they were saying. You only heard Levis annoyed:"I'll join the Survey Squad."
A punch into your guts. He'd leave the underground. He'd leave you! Breaking the promise HE made you. And for joining a squad?!
You weren't someone who cried. When your whole body was covered in bruises because of a fight that didn't go as planned, no tear. Your family yelling and insulting you, no sob. But now your eyes became watery, and your vision blurry. It felt as if you were suffocated. Breathing was almost impossible.
As if the whole ground you believed to be steady and safe just tore open to devour you.
No, you wouldn't cry! Not because of him and especially not while still seeing him.
A few weeks after that, you luckily met Kenny again. It was more like he found you.
Since that scene, it was like you had to go through every trauma you experienced again, but this time on your own without someone at your side. Kenny told you of his new job at the Military Squad and that he could need a tough girl like you.
Training and years in hiding. That was your whole life from then on. With nothing on your mind, then to finally throw this damn birth necklace of him away. It was your kind of connection, your bond, after all.
Allying with the man that once left you and him. Just to tell humanitys strongest soldier one thing.
And finally, the day came. The Survey Squad decided to turn against the Military Squad. And that was your and Kenny's time.
Fighting your way to his side, just to slowly rip his birth necklace off your neck, look at him with disgust, and throw it into a mud puddle before his feet. With one word on your lips.

"Your Dream"
Armin Arlert x gen-neutral!reader
══════
❥┆Angst + fluff I think idk honestly
❥┆WC: 3228
❥┆Notes: This is kinda modern AU and also inspired by "Curtain Call" by Hitomi (An eruri fan thingy ahaha..anyway) Apologies for mistakes and such ++ Slight spoilers
══════
“And that’s my dream!” Armin beams as he closes his precious book about the outside world.
“To see the ocean?”
He excitedly nods his head, “me, Eren, and Mikasa are gonna do it. And, well- I thought that.. maybe you’d wanna join too?
You scoff at his invitation and wave your hand dismissively. “That’s impossible in these walls. Plus, it’s a boring idea. The only time we’d be able to see the ocean is if we're about to die as soldiers.”
The blonde boy sighs and looks down, clearly hurt by your indifference. “Oh. I dunno.. I just want you there with me when I do. I won’t give up.”
Regrettably, he didn’t give up. You wish he had.
Your eyes soften upon seeing the sadness in his expression. “I mean, who knows? Maybe we can.”
══════
“Armin-!”
You come crashing down from a sudden gust of steam during a deadly battle with the Colossal Titan. Just before you could figure out where you landed, your eyes shot open from an aching pain. You wince, look down, and get overcome with a wave of despair when you see a large metal rod piercing your flesh. You try to move, but you’re bound to the rubble that sits under you.
“Hel-”
Your pleas are left unheard as the only sound you can produce are coughs of blood and labored breaths. The impact of your fall caused severe damage to your ribs and lungs, leading to internal bleeding. It hurt to even think, but thinking was all you could do.
“Armin was with me when I crashed, did he fall too? He’s here somewhere..!”
Regardless of the blood staining your clothes and running down your mouth, you had more important priorities.
“I need to find him. He’s here, he’s not dead. I’ll save him.”
But you couldn’t.
The only thing you could do was lay there helplessly and feel your life draining away. The sky blurred, then cleared when you forced yourself to wake up, and then blurred again. An endless cycle of pain tormented you for what seemed like hours. No one was around to save you.
As the sun begins to hide behind the buildings in front of you, you hear a muffled, yet familiar voice. You could barely make it out, but you assumed a conversation was being held near you. There was a shriek of anguish from a woman that echoed through your ears, followed by another woman talking.
“Mikasa-! You — to know ———!”
“Mikasa? Mikasa was near?” You thought, but whoever was near, their words were fading in and out of your ears.
“ Armin could do that, too..!”
Your eyes weakly flutter open and you begin to cry even more than you already had. Armin was alive? You smiled weakly and got overcome with hope that maybe his injuries weren’t as bad as yours. Maybe he wasn’t injured at all!
“But — doesn’t have Erwin’s experience ————”
Erwin?
Your hopes begin to diminish when you hear Mikasa plead with them to save Armin. It sounded like they were either going to choose to save the Commander, Erwin, or your best friend. Why not both? What the hell was happening?
No matter how much anyone pleads, whether that was Mikasa, Eren, or even you, everyone knows saving Erwin would be the best choice. Armin had no chance. Your tears continue to fall and mix with the blood on your body. There was no time to grieve, so you forced yourself into acceptance. You were at least glad that you were to die the same day he would have.
“I’m sorry I was so mean,” you thought hopelessly, “I’m sorry I was so angry all the time. I’ll be nicer, I promise. Let’s go see the ocean. I’ve loved you forever, that’s why I never forgot about your dream.”
But you can’t talk, so he never heard.
══════
BEEP BEEP BEEP BE-
Your hand flies to your phone as you sluggishly press the “stop” button and begin to get ready for work. Unfortunately for you, your chosen line of work was not as interesting as you would have hoped as a child. When you settled for being a librarian at a public library, you quickly got comfortable with the satisfying pay, but wished for something a little more engaging. You’re grateful for the well-paying job, nevertheless.
After cooking up some breakfast, you head over to the library. The air was nice when you walked out; the yellow color of the sun seemed to comfort you more than anything else.
Luckily for you, the library was only a walking distance away and you quickly got to work tidying things up and making sure all the computers were ready for use. Without delay, you flip over the “we’re open” sign in front of the door and wait for people to come by.
One by one, people of all ages visit and find solidarity in the peaceful place. Although some annoying people regularly visit now and then, the job was pretty nice. Still, you find yourself wishing that you could at least switch occupations just for one day at least. Most of your friends had much more exhilarating jobs, such as a bartender, a firefighter, a policeman, an anesthesiologist, and a vet.
“Me? As a policeman?”
You begin to daydream of all the exciting missions you’d be assigned to if you had these kinds of careers. For a firefighter, you’d have to save people. As a police officer, you could hunt bad people down. As you continue to think, another idea slips into your mind, “what about a soldier?” Weirdly, you shiver a little and shake your head. “Who’d willingly wanna be a soldier?”
“Uhm- excuse me..” You hear a timid voice call out; it was so quiet but loud enough to snap you back into reality.
“Oh! Sorry, did you need somethin-”
Your eyebrows raise a bit at the sight of the young man in front of you. He was a pale, nice-looking blonde boy who looked not too far from your age. On top of that, his face looked extremely horrified. It confused you, to say the least. As he hands you his library card, you notice his hand shaking.
“Sir? Are you okay?” You suddenly ask, making him jolt slightly and almost drop the books in his hand. Soon after, his horrified expression slowly dropped into a slightly sad one.
“I’m sorry,” he chuckles, “I don’t know what’s gotten into me.”
You nod in understanding, giving him a friendly smile as you scan his card. “Armin Arlert,” it said. What a pretty name.
As you look back up and hand him his card, he stares into your eyes as if he was expecting his card to be denied like he was paying for groceries. There was a strange glimmer of a random hope behind his gaze, but when you simply handed it back, he quickly looked down and shoved it back in his wallet.
“I’ve never seen you before. Is this your first time visiting?” You ask, trying to make small talk with the nervous man.
He sighs, “yeah, this is my first time. I needed some new copies of this history book since the school I worked at ran out.”
You raise an eyebrow, “you’re a teacher?”
Armin, you assumed his name was, nodded and returned a smile. “Yes! Uh, Shiganshina High School. Have you heard of it?”
You conveniently have been quite familiar with it as it’s fairly close to your house. “Yeah, it’s not that far from where I live. That’s cool, you being a teacher and all, Mr. Arlert.”
“Ahahaha! Ahaah- ah..” He seemingly switches back to his anxious state and laughs a bit loudly. “Please, just call me Armin.”
After nodding slowly, you respond with a softer tone. “Alright, Armin.”
Armin closes his eyes and sighs once more. “Okay, well, I-I should head back. Sorry for taking up your time.”
“Oh no, that’s alright. You didn’t at all.” You respond, trying to reassure him as best you can. After he looks at you one last time, you watch him walk out the door as a weird sense of loneliness overtakes you. What an interesting guy.
══════
Day after day, your usual routine quickly got interrupted by the same stranger you met that very day. Armin came in at the same time and constantly checked out and returned books not even a day after borrowing them. He claimed they were for students since their school’s library was being “renovated,” but its renovation had been ongoing for two months now.
“Morning,” he greets you while walking in with one book and hands it to you as usual. His nervousness seemed to fade slowly day by day, hinted by his more confident, albeit still quiet tone.
“G’morning to you.” You smile and take his book. When you look down, you smile again at his choice of reading. It was a large book about geography, not just maps, but the history that lies within the lats and longs of the pages.
“Do you, I mean, do the kids really like this stuff?”
Upon hearing your first words, he clears his throat and nods. “Well, yes, they’re very interested in.. human geography.”
“I’m sure,” you say in between a snicker.
Armin chuckles softly as he grabs a random book off your counter, that being just a magazine, and hands it to you. When you take the magazine, he fiddles with his fingers and looks down. Naturally, you could easily notice that he wanted to ask something, or at the very least, talk. So you talk first.
“Something on your mind? I can read you like a book now. Pun intended.”
He immediately shakes his head and rubs the back of his neck. “No, well.. yes.”
After letting a shaky sigh slip through his lips, he begins, “I was wondering if- ah- you’d wanna.. go to my house for some coffee?”
Your brows raise at his sudden invitation. He was pretty cute after all, but you’ve only known this guy for two months.
Hesitantly, you give him a soft smile and decline. “Sorry, I’d like to, but I don’t go to anyone's house on first dates. You understand, right?”
Armin’s face flushes a bit and he waves his hands defensively. “D-Date? No, I mean- yes, I understand.”
You shrug, “maybe a coffee shop?”
His face falls into a more disappointed one. “I need somewhere that’s secluded. Well, I’m not gonna do anything,” he chuckles nervously, “look, I just need to talk to you. It’s been on my mind since the day we met.”
Suddenly, your interest peaks. There was something about this man’s urgency that made you trust him. Maybe you were crazy.
Soon, you think of another suggestion. “How about the school you work at? There are probably some empty classrooms there, right? Or maybe we can use yours when the kids are on break?”
Armin’s face lights up and he nods excitedly. “Yes! That’s perfect! Today, then?”
“Today?”
You think for a moment, then decide to just call and ask one of your coworkers to take your shift. His enthusiasm was rubbing off on you.
“Fine, let’s go.”
══════
As you step out of his car and into the building, you look around and laugh a little at the commotion of the high school students.
“Shiganshina, Shiganshina, where have I heard that before?” You mutter while walking beside Armin who’s leading you to his classroom. He noticeably clenches his fist upon hearing your words and opens a door. As you enter, you stare in awe at how cozy it looks. The interior is full of soft string lights and funny posters with motivational text on them. Definitely fits his aesthetic.
“So, uh..” He pulls a chair beside his desk and motions you over. You take a seat and watch him sit in his chair, incredibly nervous as he looks down. “I don’t know how to word this, I’m sorry.”
“It’s alright,” you say soothingly, “take your time.”
“Basically… I used to know you. Like, in another universe, I think?”
You tilt your head, completely confused. The air around you seemed to grow dense. “What..?”
“I’m not crazy, please let me explain.”
Armin begins to explain to you in detail what this previous life was like. He recites every small memory he held on to that you both shared like when you protected him from bullies and shared your food with him. He also told you the bad memories he had, like watching all his friends die in battle, and how you both were soldiers who served and protected the people from “titans.” He listed a bunch of names, claiming them to be your friends too, like “Mikasa, Eren, Sasha, Connie,” none of whom you’ve ever heard of. By the end of his rant, he seemed to be tearing up after hesitating for a bit.
“And then.. we fought the Colossal Titan. I don’t remember how it happened, but you..” He suddenly leans forward a bit and holds his mouth like he was about to throw up.
“Jesus!” You hold his shoulders tight as you begin to rub them in hopes of calming him down. “It’s alright…”
Armin’s soft sniffles echo through your ears and you furrow your eyebrows. “And then..!” He cries out, “we found you..! Dead on the ground, impaled, and dirtied with your own blood!”
You felt yourself getting colder as he told you this “memory;” this sight he had to bear witness to. When you look down at your palms, you imagine what they would look like with blood soaked in each crevice of your skin. You cringe.
Even though you were skeptical this whole time, that feeling slowly began to fade as he shared with you one of the most traumatic experiences he’s had. It felt like you’ve dreamt about it before, or like it was deja vu.
“How..” you speak up as quietly as possible, “how do you know that it was me? What if I just look like the person you’ve- uh, met before?”
Armin looks up at you with tears staining his eyes. He speaks in between sobs and grabs your shoulders. “I can’t forget your face! How could I? After that, I died a natural death, waiting every second for you, even though you died so many years before me. For so many years I wished it were me. That’s something I could never forget.”
You slowly shake your head. “I don’t understand..”
He shakes you a bit and the desperation in his tone makes your blood run cold.
“You feel it too, don’t you?! I’ve seen your face when I mention these things! I know you’ve seen me before! You’ve heard of Shiganshina before, right?! That’s where I was born! That’s where you were born, too!”
Your face softens and you hug him while he continues to choke on his tears. “It’s okay now, shh. I remember.”
He seemed to have calmed down by your comfort, but your words were just a lie. You tried and tried to think, but guilt overwhelmed you when you simply couldn’t recall anything he was talking about. However, he just seemed too emotional to be lying and too adamant about this to be insane.
You pull away and give him a bittersweet smile. “Crazy ‘first date’ huh? A classroom wasn’t really somewhere I’ve dreamed of going to, but it’s alright.”
Armin giggles at your lighthearted joke and nods while wiping his tears. “I-I don’t think it’s that bad, but yeah, I’d have picked something different.”
“Oh? Where would you go for a first date then?”
He grins eagerly and sits up. “The beach!”
You raise an eyebrow at his words and scoff. “The beach? What a boring idea.”
Boring?
A sudden cold chill ran down your spine as you slowly started feeling your head ache. “That was mean, why’d I say that?” You thought.
When you look up, you're met with Armin’s hopeful eyes. “Yeah, you said that before, too. Something like it anyway.”
After nodding your head and rubbing your temples, you begin to think rapidly. “The beach, the beach,” you thought over and over again. It never posed any significance to you, but something weird overcame you as you subconsciously rubbed your side.
“You know what,” you say as you click your tongue, “I need to get home anyway, ya’know, to run some errands.”
Armin checks his watch and gets up to lead you to the door. “Ah, my class is starting in a few minutes anyway, good timing!”
After you wave goodbye, he pulls you into an unexpected embrace. You feel your cheeks heat up as you pat his back and return the hug. “Goodbye, Armin.”
“Goodbye.”
As you walk out and head home for the day, you force yourself to shake off that strange feeling welling up in your body and mind. There was no use in dwelling on it and trying to make sense of this entire situation. Plus, Armin’s recollections just sounded so bizarre. At the end of the day, he was most likely just a crazy man who lost someone who looked like you and didn’t know how to grieve. That’s probably it.
When you finally find yourself comfortable enough to sleep, you let your mind drift as your limbs slowly relax.
══════
“Why are you always so mean?”
You look up and see your best friend pouting in the seat in front of you while you both eat inside the dining quarters. As you take another bite of the small loaf of bread in your hand, you wave dismissively at him.
“I’m not, Armin. I’m just honest.” You shrug.
Armin sighs and shakes his head, “Eren says he wants to go, too. Why can’t you be nice like him?”
You put a hand over your chest, feigning offense. “Me? Not nice? Come on, all I said was that silly dream of yours was boring. And Eren can suck it.”
He grumbles and looks down, playing with the soup in his bowl. “You’re never gonna change that opinion, huh?”
After pondering for a moment and jokingly putting your finger to your chin, you answer bluntly. “Nope!”
Armin glances up at you and his lip quivers slightly. Soon after a few seconds of awkward silence, he speaks up again; this time in a much more quiet tone.
“I know.”
══════
There was a sudden sensation that you couldn't seem to grasp or explain. All you could see was a white flash, and when you opened your eyes, you were met with your dark room in the middle of the night. You gasp after realizing you hadn’t been breathing the entire time following your abrupt awakening, and you just clasp your shirt.
A dream? What kind of dream was that?
Thoughts and possible solutions spread through your mind like wildfire. The soup, the bread, the table, your clothes.. what did it mean? Where did you get all these seemingly specific thoughts? You thought long and hard, trying to figure out what kind of TV show or video you watched to dream about something like this, but to no avail, nothing came close to whatever it was you dreamt about.
When you begin to remember the face of the boy you saw in that dream, you slowly hold your hand up to your mouth.
“Oh, shit.”

Cake and Pears at 2am Hange x fem! reader
Tumblr media
Summary: What is meant to be a casual night out to hang with Mikasa and friends leads you to meeting the very dapper, very suave even though they sometimes remind you of a golden retriever, Hange.
This was meant to be a mafia AU and there are light mentions of it but that's not the focus. Here you'll read about a fem!reader who is 14 years younger than a nonbinary Hange but doesnt let that stop her from dating them.
Rating: Explicit
Warnings: Nonbinary Hange, gothkasa, Strap on sex, loss of virginity with strap on, this is smutty as hell and I have no regrets, side Eruri, Side Eremika, Squirting, Oral Sex, Fingering, also side Mikenana, Yelena needs her ass kicked, age gap, but not a creepy age gap I promise, I had to do so much research about strap ons for this damn fic

Chapter 1
First you didn’t feel like going out. Then Mikasa wheedled until you gave in, and you asked what you should wear.
“Anything is fine. Wear your regular clothes.”
And that was how you ended up wearing an ankle length black linen dress, feeling completely out of place when turning up at Mikasa’s cousin’s bar.
The plan was to have a quick drink to start off the evening. How you ended up drinking by yourself was a mystery, but you suspected it was likely due to Mikasa getting in a quickie with her boyfriend and losing track of time.
I hope the dick is good because I’m going to kill you and Eren when you get here, you quickly texted Mikasa while trying to ignore the drunken man to your right doing the most to get your attention.
“Either drink this and stop harassing our guests or get the fuck out. Your choice,” you hear someone say.
You look up to find a guy with short dark hair and an undercut who eerily resembles Mikasa pushing a glass of water across the bar top while glaring at the man bothering you. A quick glance at the man shows that he looks as though he’d been scared sober, because he takes the water and scuttles in the other direction without another word.
“Tch. Asshole,” the guy says in disgust before he flicks a dishcloth at a spot of moisture on the bar. “You okay?” he asks.
“I’m good, thanks. I would be great if my friend Mikasa didn’t have me here waiting like an idiot.”
He scoffs again. “So you’re friends with my cousin. No doubt she’s glued to that idiot boyfriend of hers.”
“I’m guessing you don’t care much for Eren,” you reply, biting back a laugh.
“Hmm,” he grunts. “She could do better, but I guess she could also do worse.”
He doesn’t offer further commentary and moves to the other end of the bar. You go back to fiddling with your phone and sipping on your drink.
Ten minutes later you get hit on again, this time by a tall blonde who is admittedly attractive but too damn pushy for your tastes.
“Don’t be like that,” she says, reaching down to wrap long, rough fingers around your wrist.
The last thing you want to do is cause a scene; not only is this a club for members only, but everyone here is at least fifteen years older than you. On top of that, Mikasa vaguely mentioned something about her cousin’s bar being a mafia hang out, but she didn’t answer or give more details when you outright asked if her cousin was in the mafia.
As you think back to the way the guy harassing you earlier looked like he was going to wet himself when the dark-haired guy glared at him, you think the answer is yes.
“Yelena, leave the young lady alone before I have Levi ban your ass,” a raspy voice interrupts in a way that seems light yet has a casually threatening undertone.
The woman named Yelena takes her hand off you and you peer around her to find the owner of the voice.
You were aware that you were likely gawking, but you hadn’t expected to see a lithe brunet dressed in a three-piece suit that clung to them like a second skin. Their hair was sort of long but had been pulled up in a partial ponytail, and a few strands framing square-rimmed glasses and a pair of warm brown eyes were the second things you saw. The unamused expression on their face was the next.
“You and I both know why you’re acting like this,” they continue, staring unblinkingly at Yelena.
You know this person came to your defense, but you can’t help feeling intimidated. Then Yelena sighs dramatically and backs up a few steps.
“No harm done, Hange. It was just a bit of fun.”
“Bit of fun, my ass. You’re only here because we like Onyankopon. Now move along.”
Yelena stares hard while slinking away and the person called Hange leans against the bar to peer down at you.
“Sorry about that,” they apologize while sticking out a hand. “Hange Zoe. I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.”
“This is my first time,” you explain after giving your name and shaking their hand. “I’m supposed to be meeting some friends here but they’re extremely late.”
“Oh? Anyone I know?”
“Mikasa and her dumb boyfriend Eren. And I think our friend Armin if he’s not glued to his computer.”
“Ohh, you’re Mikasa’s friend. Levi told us some of you would be stopping by tonight.” Hange turned to look across the room and pointed to a table. “Wanna join us while you wait?”
You peer over to see a man with shaggy blond hair sitting there, engaged in conversation with another man who had neatly styled brighter blond hair as well as a stunning blonde woman with a short haircut that fits her face perfectly. Levi, who you learn is in fact Mikasa’s cousin when pointed out by Hange, is in the middle of sliding into the booth with the two men and a lady. They all seem equal parts classy but intimidating, and it immediately sets you on edge. They’re nothing like anyone you’ve been around before and you’re in fear of making some serious social faux pas.
“I don’t want to intrude,” you protest.
“You aren’t. Besides, it’ll piss off the blonde who just got grabby with you.”
“Okay, only if you don’t mind,” you agree, picking up your glass. “Who was that, an ex of yours?”
A wry look cross Hange’s face as they lead you across the bar.
“You could say that. Say, what is that you’re drinking? It looks tasty.”
“It’s called a Red Devil. Not everyone knows how to make it but this guy with brown hair knew what I was talking about. He made it perfectly too; some people use too much gin and it tastes disgusting like that.”
“If he had on a blue shirt that’s Moblit and yup, he makes the best drinks.”
When you and Hange reach the table they introduce you to everyone. Nanaba is friendly and Miche is polite but doesn’t seem like a big talker, although Erwin and Levi have plenty to say. Hange orders you another drink without you asking and you sit on the outside of the booth, sipping on your second Red Devil while wondering how the hell you ended up at the table of Mikasa’s cousin and his friends.
You guesstimate that the jacket alone to their suits is equal to the price of a month’s rent. And you don’t know much about watches, but you definitely know what a Rolex is and every person at the table except you is wearing one. Correction, Miche and Nanaba have on his and her Patek Philipe watches.
Eventually someone else equally well-dressed joins the table, the tall man with brown hair named Moblit who happens to be the person that made your drink.
“Are you and Hange going to drink one another under the table tonight?” Levi asks, and Hange grins broadly.
“No,” they laugh. “But now that I think about it, I could use a snack. Are there any olives in the back?”
“Yes, for the cocktails,” Levi hisses, looking scandalized as though Hange suggested snacking on earthworms.
“Actually, I bought a large bag of mixed olives because I know you like them,” Erwin interjects, ignoring the way Levi glares at him.
“I thought I was the only one who ate olives on their own,” you murmur, and Hange’s face lights up.
“I guess you’ll share with me, right? Hold on, I’ll be right back.”
“Hange, don’t you break my damn bar!” Levi yells over the booth as Hange hurries in the direction of a closed door. “And bring something to put them in!”
You’re wondering why Hange needs to be told to bring something for the olives, and bite back a laugh at the image of them eating olives right off the tabletop. Soon they return, arms laden with a small stack of bowls and the olives.
Erwin hadn’t been lying; the bag of mixed olives he bought was enormous. It easily rivaled the size of a food container one would find at a food co-op. Hange tries to cut it open with a pocketknife but with speed-lightning deftness, Levi reaches over and snatches it out their grasp.
“I’ve got it, before the whole fucking thing ends up all over the floor,” he grumbles, pulling out his own pocketknife from somewhere and neatly slitting open the bag.
“You are so weird,” Miche says, watching Hange pour a generous portion of olives into two paper bowls. They stab a toothpick into a green olive atop both mounds and push a bowl in your direction.
“See, Miche? I told you I wasn’t the only one who ate olives like this,” Hange tells him, brandishing a toothpick with a black olive on the end before popping it in their mouth.
The entire situation is laughable. The idea that the stunning human in a bespoke suit has the personality of a golden retriever yet can clearly switch to that of a guard dog with a killer bite is unfathomable. Either way, you’re having a good time and don’t think the night can get any stranger. But you’re soon proven wrong.
Miche excuses himself and as he crosses you to get out the booth, he pauses and loudly sniffs your hair. Hange explains that it’s a thing he does and he means no harm, but then he says your hair smells good. Nanaba says she noticed the same thing too, and then everyone else says they also agreed.
Everyone starts throwing out names of expensive parfums that would probably take you a month or more to save for if you wanted a bottle. You tell everyone that it’s not perfume you’re wearing, they’re smelling the hair oil you used on your ends. That prompts a conversation about your tight curls and you’re explaining that your hair tends to get dry and needs extra moisture when Mikasa finally shows up. Eren is behind her, trying to pretend that he isn’t hiding from Levi and failing miserably. Armin is also there and he’s smiling nervously. Mikasa looks confused when she sees you sitting with her cousin and his friends, but her expression barely gives away anything.
“Hey brat, why’d you make your friend wait all this time?” Levi asks her.
“Eren and I lost track of time,” Mikasa offers dismissively, sniffing as she looks away.
“Tch. I bet,” Levi scoffs, narrowing his eyes and the increasingly nervous Eren. Armin also looks anxious, but mostly because he likely feels like a third wheel knowing what his two best friends were doing that caused them to be late.
“I don’t want to keep you from your friends,” Hange tells you with a smile. “Thanks for keeping me company.”
You really don’t want to leave but know it would be rude to not join Mikasa and the others. So you thank Hange and everyone else and reluctantly leave their table.
You’re oddly quiet while sitting with your friends, yet they’re too busy quarrelling over something to notice. When you cast a surreptitious glance over at Hange, they’re laughing loudly at something while slapping Miche’s shoulder. You feel a stab of envy, wishing you were the one to make them laugh when they suddenly turn in your direction and wink at you. Before you can react, they’ve turned back to their friends and you’re left wondering if you imagined everything.
Eren and Armin go to fetch drinks and when they return, Armin hands you another Red Devil and a glass of water. You notice that everyone also has water along with their drink and Eren asks Mikasa why her cousin made him also take water. The answer comes in the form of Mikasa shooting Levi a nasty glare across the bar and he returns her look with an eerily similar one.
“He hates sloppy drunks,” Mikasa explains. “This is his way of telling us to have fun but not too much fun. I watched him make someone mop up their own puke before throwing them out on more than one occasion.”
“Your cousin is scary,” Armin says, warily eyeing his cocktail as though unsure if he should drink it.
You finish your Red Devil a little too fast and become the teeniest bit tipsy—okay, you’re drunk—and decide to wobble outside, in desperate need of fresh air. Just as you take a deep breath and close your eyes, you hear the door open and someone else walks outside.
“Needed a breather?” Hange asks with an unlit cigar held between their teeth. They reach into their pocket to pull out a box of wooden matches and some other metal tubular object on a ring. “It’s a hole punch for cigars,” they explain when they see you staring. “It gives a better flavor as you smoke opposed to completely cutting off the tip.”
“Yeah, I got a little hot in there,” you reply. “So are cigars good? I’ve never tried one.”
“The right cigar is very good,” Hange explains, taking the cigar from their mouth and punching a hole into the end. They put it back into their mouth and strike a match and you’re captivated by their long fingers cupping the flame while bringing it up to their cigar. A few twirls between two fingers ensures that its lit evenly and Hange takes a few pulls and exhales a grey cloud into the cool night air. “Darker cigars—maduro they’re called— have a smoother taste. A lot of people think the lighter ones do but those tend to be harsh on the throat.”
You’re really drunk and wonder if you’ll remember this impromptu lesson on cigars, but mostly you’re enthralled with watching Hange smoke while looking like the picture of ease in their vest, the other hand in their trouser pocket.
“Would you like to try it?” they ask suddenly, and you realize they’re smiling while holding it out to you.
“You don’t mind?”
“Nah,” they reply, nudging their hand again in your direction. “Go on. Don’t suck too hard though, it’ll taste awful if you do.”
You feel awkward as you take the cigar and try to ignore the sensation of Hange’s fingers brushing against yours. Without their jacket on you catch a whiff of their cologne; something sweet yet musky with a hint of wood and vanilla. It mingles perfectly with the cigar smoke and the aroma leaves you light-headed.
Okay, girl, you really need to calm down, you tell yourself, lifting the cigar to your lips.
Normally you’d be disgusted by the idea of putting your mouth on something that was just in the mouth of someone you barely knew, but you aren’t for some reason. The tip of the cigar is damp and you brush way the intrusive thought that this is an indirect kiss, but you take a soft pull as directed and are shocked to find that it indeed tastes good.
“Nice, right?” Hange asks when they see your eyebrows raised in surprise.
“It is, actually,” you admit, handing the cigar back to them. “It’s sort of chocolatey but earthy? Makes me think of a nice latte.”
“Yes! Some people do have cigars with coffee, as well as chocolate and some teas.”
“That sounds nice.”
“It is. If you ever want a recommendation, I’d be happy to help.”
Just as you’re about to say yes, the door opens and Mikasa sticks out her head.
“Oh, here you are,” she says. “Sasha just texted me to see if we wanted to meet up with her and Jean at the diner.”
“Did any of you drive here?” Hange asks.
Mikasa shakes her head. “We took an Uber.”
“Me too,” you chime in.
“All right. If you need help getting home let one of us know.”
**
The rest of the night is uneventful and boring compared to how it started. Mikasa had her limit of alcohol and used Eren’s shoulder as a pillow for an impromptu nap. Armin’s face is flushed and he keeps complaining that he’s hot and his hair is annoying him. You dig two satin scrunchies out your purse and put his hair into two tiny pigtails and he is visibly relieved. Armin keeps his pigtails in and when Mikasa finally wakes up, she asks Eren if she’s seeing things while staring at Armin.
“I got hot,” Armin replies without further explanation.
“And on that note, I think it’s time to go,” you tell your friends. “I’m going to say goodnight to Hange and your cousin and his friends,” you add, looking at Mikasa who is laying back on Eren’s shoulder. She nods and remains silent, clearly not giving a shit.
“We’re going to leave now but I wanted to thank you,” you tell Hange, who is sitting in the booth with Moblit. “Did everyone else leave?”
“Nanaba and Miche did, and Erwin and Levi are probably making sure things are tidied up before they close. You said you all came in an Uber, right?”
“Yeah, I’m going to order one in a minute.”
Hange reaches into their vest pocket and pulls out their phone. They tap at the screen a few times and then hand it to you. “Just put in wherever you want to go.”
You see that they’re booking an Uber pool for you in an SUV which you know costs a grip.
“I’ll pay you back,” you tell Hange, and they wave dismissively.
“No need. The only thing you need to do is make sure you all get home safely.”
Hange waits outside with you all and you’re disappointed when the driver arrives faster than you anticipated.
“It was really nice meeting you,” they tell you, taking your hand and stroking the top with their thumb. That small touch leaves you speechless and you want to say more but Mikasa is yelling for you to get in the damn truck.
“You too,” you tell Hange, flashing them a smile before getting in the truck and shutting the door. You watch their retreating figure out the window until you’re out of sight, and then you feel immense regret at not asking for their phone number.
Shit.
“You like Hange, don’t you?” Mikasa asks a week later when you two are having a girl’s night at her place, although her sentence sounds more like a statement.
“What makes you think that?” you ask, wondering how the hell you’ve been caught.
Mikasa shrugs, leaning in close to a mirror and relining her lower lids with a smudgy black eyeliner pencil. “It was obvious that night. Well, obvious to me that is.”
“How the hell could anything be obvious to you? You were two hours late!”
“I only needed ten minutes at most to figure out that you like Hange,” Mikasa continues, now working on the other eye. “You wouldn’t stop looking at them.”
“Well, they’re good-looking. So they are non-binary, right? I didn’t want to be rude and ask since I’d just met them but that’s the impression I got from listening to everyone else speak.”
“Yeah, they are.”
“Cool. There was a woman named Yelena there too. She’s Hange’s ex?”
“She is, that bitch. They broke up a few months ago because Yelena’s a conniving, manipulative asshole. Levi didn’t like her from the start. Although it’s not as if he likes many people from the start.”
“He’s probably good at sniffing out bullshit,” you tell Mikasa, thinking back to her stern-faced cousin.
“He is and it’s annoying at times. He’s rarely wrong though, not that I’d admit it to him. Anyway, should I ask Levi for Hange’s number so you can text them?”
“No! I can’t do that.”
Now Mikasa is lining her lips in black, and you see her eyeing you through the mirror.
“Why not?” she asked, leaning closer to perfect the sharp lines at her cupid’s bow.
“Because I… I don’t know.”
Mikasa sighs and turns around to face you. “Listen, I know you’ve always been too shy to flirt with someone who wasn’t a man, and I get it. Men are simple as shit and think a girl likes them if she blinks in his direction. But Hange isn’t some big bad wolf who’s going to attack you. You two can meet for coffee or something casual.”
You know that Mikasa is right, and there’s a stretch of silence before you speak again.
“Fine. Text your cousin. But if Hange isn’t interested, do me a favor and please don’t tell me.”
“You got it, you dramatic weirdo. Honestly, you’re weird and Hange is weirder. You two should get on like a house on fire.”
“That’s an awful analogy, Mikasa,” you groan, flopping over onto your other side. “Can you do my makeup when you’re done?”
The corner of Mikasa’s lip lifts slightly and you know your tactic to distract her was fruitful. For some reason, Mikasa loves putting eyeliner on all her friends. Eren fussed that it made his eyes itch, but Armin allowed Mikasa to do whatever she wanted. You also didn’t mind; you found that someone else doing your makeup was relaxing, and sometimes you fell asleep and let Mikasa do whatever she wanted.
“You’re actually going to let me do your entire face?”
“I’ll do whatever you want me to do, Yoda.”
“Ugh, like I said—weirdo.”
“Yeah, but you love me.”
“Sure. Now be quiet while I clean your skin.”
You’re lying flat on Mikasa’s bed while she swipes a cotton pad soaked with micellar water across your cheek when you speak again. “So what else do you know about Hange?”
“They’re older than us but you know that already. I think they’re forty? Something like that; I only remember because I know Levi is a few years older.”
“Wow, I figured they were a few years older than us. I didn’t think there was a fourteen-year difference.”
“Yeah. They’re also smart as hell. Two doctorates I think and run a lab. Also an adjunct professor if I remember correctly.”
“Well now I’m a little intimidated,” you admit quietly.
“I don’t know why. This is the same Hange who blew up hard-boiled eggs in the microwave at Levi and Erwin’s house because they forgot that you can’t microwave eggs.”
“Okay, that’s actually funny.”
“It is, but the runt didn’t think so. He cursed out Hange, made them scrub it twice and cursed them out some more when they didn’t clean it to his standards.”
You think back to Levi fussing about Hange spilling olive brine all over his bar and fight back a laugh.
“I had a good time with Hange and their friends until you and Eren came. They’re really funny.”
“Yeah, they’re cool. I’ve known most of them since I was a kid.”
Mikasa is now working on your eyeliner so you stay quiet so she can concentrate.
“Let’s go outside when I’m finished your makeup,” she says, using a short eyeshadow brush to buff out the pencil liner. “I need to smoke and I also got that wine you like.”
“You don’t have to tell me twice,” you reply with a tiny grin.
Twenty minutes later, you and Mikasa are out on her balcony that’s been decked in orange lights that were meant for Halloween but are year-round decorations for her. Mikasa brought out her phone and speaker and a darkwave mix is playing in the background while you two puff on cloves and sip wine.
“I texted Levi for Hange’s number, by the way,” Mikasa says casually, blowing a puff of smoke out into the night air. “No doubt he’s wrapped around uncle Erwin right now so his phone is probably turned off.”
“Shit, thanks Mikasa. Now I’m going to be a nervous wreck all night.”
“I have something stronger than cloves if you want. There’s edibles and gummies; pick your poison.”
“I’ll keep that in mind, thanks.”

A few words about trolling and harassment
I've had quite a lot of asks recently about how to deal with trolling, hate and negativity in fandom. There are too many to answer individually, so I hope you don't mind me answering like this.
Sadly trolling and hate is nothing new, it's always been a feature of fandom, and the Eruri fandom is no exception. Because the Eruri fandom has quite visible and popular artists and writers, I think it tends to attracts more trolls than you might expect for such a small fandom. It's also noticeable that incidents of hate and trolling always increase when the whole fandom becomes more active in the run up to anime season releases. Trolling can happen at any time though, sometimes it's a single sorry individual with no life, too much time on their hands, and no imagination to do anything more creative.
Being targeted by trolls can be understandably upsetting and I know that some people get really anxious and upset by the low level ship hate that buzzes around in the background. So how to deal with it? It might sound trite but the best thing to do with trolls is ignore them. Trolls are desperate for your attention, so don't give it to them. I know that's easier said than done though so my advice is that if you can't resist responding, do so with humour. Trolls rarely appreciate being laughed at. I have a strict policy of ignoring all the anon hate I get here on tumblr, but occasionally I get an ask that is too hilarious not to share, so I post it on twitter for everyone to point and laugh at.
Dealing with disingenuous fans can be a bit tricker, as it's not always easy to tell when someone is arguing a point in good faith or if it's bait and they're just trying to start shit. Like trolls, bait is best ignored. Don't let them hook you in and don't argue back, it's not worth wasting your time trying to change their mind. You won't. Just walk away. Spend your precious time on something that you enjoy instead, like reading your favourite fanfic, or creating something new for your fandom. And whatever you do, don't engage with ship hate and ship wars. Leave others to enjoy their ship, and you focus on enjoying your own. Shipping isn't a competition; it's not something you can win or lose. If people are bringing negativity and hate into the tags block them, and curate your timeline to minimise their visibility.
If you find that trolling, harassment and fandom discourse is making you really anxious and upset then you need to disengage. It's vitally important to establish your own boundaries and to stick by them. Don't hang out in spaces where there are people who will upset you, block and report obvious trolls, and mute anyone who brings negativity into your fandom spaces, even if they're from your own side of the fandom. Don't feel that you have to engage with the fandom at large. The best advice I've ever heard is that fandom is best enjoyed with a small group of like minded weirdos who you can share your kinks and headcanons with and who you can bitch to in private. Its sound advice and it's worked for me for years.
Way back in 2018, my friend and fellow Eruri fan @valisi-clark did a fascinating survey of why people send Anon hate. The anonymous responses they got were really eye opening. if you're interested you can read the whole thing here: Anonymous Hate Survey.
I can also highly recommend this beautiful post from @ladymacbethsspot with solid practical advice on how to deal with all kinds of bullying and harassment.
I hope this helps folk to navigate fandom's stormy waters. If anyone needs to get anything off their chest, my ask box is always open. I can't respond to every ask I get, but I do read them all.

You are amazing and so is your art. Long live Commander Handsome and his twunk boyfriend. Yup, I called Levi a twunk.
Ps.: I hope the anonhater get railed by a fucking train.
Oh my goodness, you are very sweet, thank you!! Mostly in cases like this I just hope whatever horrible aspect of anon’s life that compels them to be so awful and miserable toward others is changed for the better. For everyone’s sake.
It’s regrettable that this is happening to anyone, but I’m at least lucky that it’s predominately hate in my Google form, which has remained mostly dormant for the past couple months anyway. Thankfully, it seems tumblr peeps are a lot gentler and more subdued, in that they don’t feel the need to…stalk people and anonymously call them horrific slurs? Crazy, I know!
Actually, I have a few eruri friends who are getting it a lot worse than I am, or have ever, really. Authors posting new fics to the ao3 tag are being barraged with ugly ranting comments often laced with misogynistic slurs, ageism, and more. These comments are typically quietly deleted as authors try desperately to moderate their own spaces and experiences, so you won’t necessarily see them, but it’s definitely been going around. I would maybe gently encourage anyone reading this to drop an ask of support into the inbox of your favorite fic authors or fan artists. Perhaps revisit an old favorite fic and leave a kind comment, just something to let them know they’re appreciated. It’s not like we’re out here changing the world with our silly flights of fancy, but a constant wave of hate, however misplaced and bizarre, can still chip away at even tough exteriors.
Sorry to make this lengthy, anon. I’m super grateful for your kindness and will do what I can to pass it along today! (*^ω^*)

I'm being fully serious and honest when I say I am not trying to be rude or offensive but I have a genuine question to ask: you mock and belittle l*vihan shippers on twitter all the time, right? I also don't ship them so that's not my point here but it's a bit ironic that whenever you ask an eruri fan about their ship, they always make excuses and avoid the main question about why their ship is considered "almost canon" or even "mutual". Whenever you ask an Eruri about for receipts it's always Levi said this and Levi did that. I am sure no one needs any proof or explanation for Levi's feelings, even if one doesn't think he was in love with Erwin (I 100% believe he was) they still can't deny how much Levi cared about Erwin and held him to a high regard. But all those questions are never about Levi's side. It's the Erwin side of your ship that's questionable. Nothing in canon and I say NOTHING indicates that Erwin loved Levi or saw him as someone more than a good comrade, right hand man or friend. Nothing. When you ask the Erwin side of their ship Eruris always avoid the question and make it all about Levi again. We know he loves Erwin that's not the discussion. Erwin never shows the worry care or protectiveness Levi shows for him. "But Erwin didn't want to risk Levi's ankle" yes because he's his best soldier why would he risk him when he knows he won't be useful with a fucked up ankle? "Erwin sacrificed himself to save Levi" no he knew that chances of Levi's plan succeeding was so low, that Zeke would kill Levi quickly from a distance before Erwin and Eren could escape, and Erwin was already depressed enough to consider dying so he made the logical decision, none of those decisions were made "selflessly" for Levi and Levi only (his sacrifice was huge but my point is, it wasn't for Levi), they were just part of his plans. I don't say Erwin didn't care about Levi, he clearly did but he never showed signs of caring about Levi more than he cared about Hange or Mike. He's the best written character in AoT this isn't a Erwin or Eruri hate but you are all making Erwin something he's not and then talk trash about other ships. Levi and Hange cared about each other mutually on the other hand. Erwin would never protect and take care of Levi the way Hange did in that forest. Hange and Levi's relationship wasn't romantic in my opinion but they did care about each other and their frienship was mutual. Long story short Levi was in love with Erwin and Erwin only saw him as a good captain and friend and Levi and Hange are best friends. You trash talk the other ship but yours is very much one-sided.
The first line of your message is literally longer than Lebihan's development and Hanji's backstory combined.

Latest Fic : Don’t “Darling” Me, You Fucker
Well. Since @ic3-que3n made a post with our works, I figured it’s only fair to return the favor 😎
I have some series AOT and Eruri Brain Rot right now. No complaints. It’s a joy. Especially with all of the mesmerizing fanart and fanfictions floating about out here.
@ic3-que3n shared some stunning art by @idrawr16yt  (who has drawn some of the most jaw-dropping pieces I have ever seen - go look at their art immediately) with me, and we kind of just dove headfirst into some fun fic ideas. Challenged each other to write a fun fic in the end.
We may have gone a little overboard. To the point that @ic3-que3n sent me a physical surprise that had me in stitches. It’ll make sense if you decide to read the fic 😉

Summary:
“You’ve been ignoring me for days,” Levi seethed, squeezing the base of his own cock. Pushing his foot into Erwin’s crotch firmer, forcing the taller to take a step back. “You really think I’m going to let you fucking pretend I don’t exist and then touch me whenever you want?”
For all his brilliant strategies, Erwin still found himself out maneuvered. Leaving a simple grovel as his best attempt to appease his lover. “Levi, you know I haven’t been intentionally ignoring you. There were things I needed to attend to.”
Dropping his foot back to the ground, Levi thumbed at the tip of his cock playfully. Pretending to contemplate Erwin’s words.
“What were you reading?”
The question catches Erwin off guard, his eyes darting towards the discarded book. “What?”
“You need to clean your ears out or something? Tell me what fucking book was more important than me.” Levi ordered. Knowing he was the only person alive that could make such bold demands of the Commander of the Scouts Regiment and not receive disciplinary action for it.

Because We’re Family (Kenny-Levi-Erwin centred fic) chapter 19.
A fic where SNK is rewritten from the start. Kenny steps up as a parent for Levi. Many years later, Erwin accidentally crosses paths with Kenny, the one ghost of his past, and blackmails him and Levi into joining the Survey Corps. Because of his relationship with the Reiss, Kenny has vital information about humanity, and he makes his own deductions that will change everything for the story. All canon arcs will be rewritten, until the time to fight the outside world comes. Main pair is eventual Eruri (huge enemies to lovers). Read here.
They could hear the soldiers working, even from up here. Without an upcoming expedition to train for, the soldiers had to focus on more menial work. Today, a section of the barracks commuted from the gates to the mess hall. The shipments of food for the next three months had arrived, and it was hefty work to unload everything from the multiple wagons.
Kenny watched them aloofly from the window.
They will all die, he thought. It could be in a year, five years, or perhaps not in their lifetime. But their children could be killed, or their children’s children, and so on. Many generations may pass before that day comes, but it was a fact they would die.
This world will crumble, Uri and Frieda had said. And the First King corroborated it.
The Subjects of Ymir. They had to pay for whatever sins the Eldians of the past committed. The outside world will pay whatever violence they ever inflicted ten times in turn.
His sombre eyes did not waver as the voices in the room grew increasingly louder. Despite being right next to them, he couldn’t make out what Erwin and the others were saying. A disagreement, perhaps. Either way, his mind was not in it. He couldn’t focus and, frankly, unless directly addressed, he didn’t care.
He brought his fist to his lips, eyes still focused on the soldiers that carried dozens upon dozens of crates with flour bags.
A hand touched his shoulder. It took him one, two, three seconds to react. He looked back to find Flagon, who seemed a bit too grim. There was also a certain gentleness in his eyes. He’d sure mellowed down to him in the last two months, Kenny recognised. “You can move ahead, pack your things and do what you want until midday. We’ll finish up here.”
Kenny briefly glanced at the working soldiers one last time and left the room without a word. The silence with which he left lingered in the air. The remaining men were reluctant to break it.
“I think we’re ready,” Erwin said later as he took a final glance at the documents.
“Then we’d best move on now,” added Lutz with urgency. “Kit and Soren need us, and we have a regiment to save. Commander, is there anything else?”
“No, that will be all. Make haste. I’ll stay here, as we still need a backup plan,” Shadis said. “I already have a meeting set with a financial and legal advisor. Like Dorian said, we must be prepared for the possibility you won’t get this done in time.”
The soldiers all seemed to agree, but a loud sigh brought their attention to Dorian.
He reluctantly placed his file on the table. “Commander, I’m… sorry, but I can’t do this.”
Their brows rose.
“I didn’t sign up for this. I didn’t sign up to deceive a fellow soldier by using his child, regardless of who that soldier used to be. And we don’t even know what he might do to get the information, since the stakes are so high for him. People may get hurt, and I can’t be a part of that. I have a few days off accumulated and I request to use them in the following days.”
Erwin and his friends could only be astonished by this. By the looks of it, so was Shadis.
“Section Commander,” Erwin intervened, “I apologise for my impudence as I do not intend to question your authority, but we could use your help for this. It’s for the greater good of the regiment.”
Flagon and Lutz silently agreed. Having their Section Commander would make them feel a lot safer. He’d always taken care of them, after all.
“I stand by my words and have no further comment to add,” Dorian replied.
Erwin didn’t seem to like this.
“And no further comment is required,” Shadis spoke after a brief silence. “Take your time off, Anja will take your place in the headquarters for now. This is a good time for anyone hesitating to back down from this.”
From the rest, the only one who seemed unsure was Flagon. His brows were furrowed, and his lips tight. He was clearly very tempted to back down.
He slowly moved to place his folder on the table, but gave his friends a final glimpse. He watched Mike, the calculated Erwin, and the frowning Lutz. From them all, it was Lutz with his pitiful eyepatch that affected him the most.
He couldn’t bear to leave his best friend.
He stopped and held the folder to his chest. Erwin let out a silent breath of relief.
Dorian waited no further and, visibly disappointed with not only Flagon but also the rest, left the room.
“Very well,” said Shadis. “You may leave now. Get ready, wait for Kenny and go. Keep me updated and, above all, stay safe.”
“Sir,” they saluted.
They individually went to their rooms to pack their belongings. Essentials, their documents and a gun each from the armoury. When they were near the gates to await their carriage, they perked up cautiously when Kenny and Dorian crossed paths from afar.
“Are you not ready to leave yet?” Kenny asked, luggage in hand. “I was told the carriage would arrive at noon. I didn’t take ya to be tardy.”
“I will not be partaking in the mission.”
“... Because?” asked Kenny when silence lingered. He wondered about the frown on Dorian’s face.
“I…” Dorian’s eyes moved down. “I, uh…”
What he was struggling to say didn’t seem to be easy, Kenny noticed. Like it weighed on him.
“I… I, I…”
“Well, don’t pop a vein, will ya?” Kenny jested, although his face was perfectly serious. “See ya, then.”
Dorian watched him saunter away, and he surprised himself when he reflexively called Kenny’s name. Kenny turned to look at him, waiting.
Don’t go. We’re lying to you. We’re lying.
Dorian wanted to say it, he was struggling not to, and Erwin could tell. Should he intervene?
“Be careful,” is what Dorian managed to say.
Kenny said nothing, his gaze simply lingered on Dorian a few more seconds, and then he left. He did appreciate the concern, however. Dorian had always been kind to him and Levi.
He reached Erwin and the rest, but did not greet them. He remained in silence, eyes in the distance, as he patiently waited for the carriage. The others didn’t dare speak. They couldn’t, and even when it arrived, and they were safely on their way to the river canal, they still didn’t manage a word.
Kenny seemed too calm, they individually thought. He even seemed to be enjoying himself when he produced a book from his bag and he read away.
They couldn’t tell whether this was good or bad.
When they reached the river canal, they sailed because it was the fastest mode of transportation. They reached their destination in under two hours. They disembarked and hauled a carriage to midtown. Erwin’s throat clenched as he walked out of it. The last time he’d done this, everything had gone wrong. Kit and Soren had arrived hours later, only for them to be taken from him, now held off who knew where.
He wasn’t alone now, though.
He felt at ease when seeing Lutz, Mike and Flagon by his side. The world seemed to get much smaller, however, and the air seemed to feel much tighter, more constricted as Kenny was the last to leave the carriage, pressing his hat with one hand as he walked out. His presence seemed to dwarf everyone else's, even when Mike was by far the largest and tallest of the group.
The initial plan had been to check at an inn with strategic positioning, although one different from the Aquatic Pub. Erwin didn’t want them to stay in the same tavern Ennis had already busted them in. So, they wanted one that was strategic, but Kenny had been quick to shut this down.
“We’re staying at my old place,” is what he stated. His tone made it clear he wasn’t suggesting or negotiating.
“Your cabin?”
“No,” Kenny was quick to respond. “Home is sacred, ya don’t let filth in it.”
Funny, Erwin thought. Levi had been quick to tell him the same thing when he’d asked to be let in his room.
“No, we’re going to my old place. In the Underground.”
They all stiffened immediately. Lutz gulped heavily, clearly more taken aback than the others. He absolutely did not want to return to that place.
“May I ask why?” spoke Erwin.
“It’s just better,” is all Kenny said.
He began walking with purpose, and the others were reluctant to follow. When they realised Kenny would move on with or without them, they felt they had no choice. Erwin was the first to move, and by reflex the others followed.
They entered the Underground and reached his old home without issues. Even here, the strongest gang would think twice before taking on five large, strong men who walked with purpose and straight faces. From the would-be robber’s perspective, there was a chance they could all be armed. So, an attack was highly unlikely.
Kenny felt a sense of nostalgia as he turned the lights on. His eyes centred on the whisky table, where he’d usually sit to drink and read, then lingered on the living room where the table would usually be crooked so that Levi would have space to train and practise his moves.
It was all perfectly organised now. As clean as any home that had been left unattended could be, but it wasn’t soulless despite the lack of inhabitants.
“It’s… a lot nicer than I thought it would be,” admitted Flagon.
The other men ambled around the place, not quite finding themselves.
“We’ll need to do some light shopping, as there’s nothing to cook, and we can’t rely on inns for every meal,” Kenny instructed. “Some of us can head for the markets whilst the rest stay cleaning up. There are still some supplies around here.”
“Good idea,” said Erwin. “Let’s divide the chores so we can get to work.”
Mike and Erwin would shop for supplies. Food, a few pots and pans and some cleaning supplies. Kenny guided Lutz and Flagon to the nearby well so they could haul water for both cleaning and consumption. He then left them to their devices, excusing himself for unmentioned reasons, whilst they all kept themselves busy.
Kenny briefly considered the possibility the soldiers could come across Guinne. They wouldn’t recognise him, as from what he’d been told, Guinne had been masked when he’d attacked them, but Guinne would certainly recognise them.
He wasn’t sure whether he should pay him and Moritz a visit to give them a heads-up. Frankly, he was a little lost right now.
Something gnawed at him. Clearly, the soldiers weren’t telling him everything. It was simply so weird for Levi to disappear like this. Somehow he recalled the Ackerman persecution. With enough firepower and men, he understood Levi would be forced to submit. The Ackermans were nearly driven to extinction for that reason. They’d been overwhelmed despite their strength. But Kenny had been a special case, he’d adapted beyond what any other Ackerman ever had. Even as a child. He was so sure Levi would be the same, especially with Kenny’s training.
From what they told him, the innkeeper had told Erwin they’d gone along willingly. What exactly did Ennis, or his men, tell them so they came along? The threat they’d shoot up the place? He understood Kit and Soren would comply, their duties as soldiers would compel them to. But Levi? Surely he could easily sneak away.
With enough threats to innocent life, would Levi submit? Somehow, Kenny was a little afraid to admit he doubted it.
No matter. Those were questions he’d make once he had Levi safe and sound. Yes, that’s what he should be focusing on. Just find him. How he got caught is meaningless.
Just find him.
By the time Kenny was back home, the place was clean and smelled of smoke. Mike and Lutz were working on a meal, simple and not great, and as tasty as they could make it in a place like this. A bubbly potato cream soup with hot crusty bread that was much too stale, and a side of greens. No different from what they already ate in the military, Kenny was disappointed to find.
It’s not that getting used to this food was hard. Not quite. He’d gone hungry for over a decade of his life; he knew what it was like to starve. Still, for a shorter but still considerable chunk of his life he had been used to fancy, delicious foods cooked by the best offered within the Walls. And, after moving out of the Reiss Estate, he’d eaten very well in the time he lived in the cabin with Levi. Levi loved to cook, and Kenny enjoyed doing it alongside him at times. It was a great skill he’d picked up thanks to the Reiss chefs once he decided to shape up for Levi. Going back to eating bland food, well… he wasn’t a fan, but he wouldn’t repel it, either. Fuel was fuel.
They sat down to eat with little conversation, and after Erwin and Flagon finished cleaning up, they all got to work.
They spread their documents over the living room table, and they all huddled around it to discuss their plans of action. First, they of course needed to know their enemy. Once they did, they’d have to think like their enemy to anticipate their moves, and plan appropriate responses.
“The man we’re up against is called Ennis Vernier, the man you encountered that night, Erwin,” said Kenny. “He’s Lovof’s head of security and without a doubt the one in charge of the entire operation.”
Erwin found this curious. Ennis seemed so young the night they met, he wouldn’t have imagined he’d be something as important as head of security for a duke.
“I’d wager since Erwin slipped from his grasp, he’ll be on the lookout for new faces in the interior. He’ll know the Survey Corps won’t give up so easily, but also won’t be so stupid as to send the same person… although, to be fair, they did. He most likely has sentinels placed all over, hence why Kit, Soren and Levi were captured so quickly. The truth we’ll have to face is that, no matter where we go, we’ll have at least one person following us or listening to us. So, we have two ways of doing this: Either we gather real evidence like you want to bring Lovof down, or we simply play the game and force him to back down before the Faction Leaders and the Commander-in-Chief.”
“And how do we play the game?” asked Erwin.
“We don’t have enough time to play fairly. We go straight for where it hurts Lovof; his kids.”
“Wait, what!?” Lutz cried out. “What do you mean by that?”
“We take his kids, obviously,” said Kenny. “Ennis is certainly working behind the scenes, doing far more than… whatever he’s doing to Levi. And Kit and Soren. If anything, that’s a job for his subordinates. If I had to guess, they’re alright. Ennis would be more focused on gathering additional information on the Survey Corps’s response to this.”
“You’re not actually asking us to kidnap children, are you?” Flagon’s throat clenched.
“I'm not asking you to, but I also couldn't give less of a shit how you feel about it. By taking the brats, Ennis will be forced to put whatever he’s doing on hold. His job is to protect everything Lovof owns and loves. Cantaceres means nothing if Lovof’s children are unsafe, and the second they are, it’s Ennis’s job to retrieve them.”
“How many?” asked Erwin.
“He’s got tons of brats, but there’s two who are his favourite,” he raised two fingers. “He’d risk anything for them.”
“We won’t be hurting them, will we?” asked Mike warily.
“‘Course not,” said Kenny sincerely, although a bit too aloofly for their liking. “Unless he doesn’t comply, of course. Then we rearrange some faces or perhaps mail a few body parts. Relax,” he said when Lutz produced a wail. “It won’t come to that. He loves those brats, it’s probably his only redeeming quality.”
“This is no time for sentimentalities,” Erwin reminded curtly when Lutz and Flagon frowned hesitantly. “If Lovof loves his children, we won’t have to hurt anyone. The faster we can get this done, the better.” He looked back at Kenny. “Where do we find them?”
"I can’t tell you that. I’ll be the one to retrieve them. In the meantime, you’ll scatter across Sina to look nice and pretty. We’ll need bait, so you must dress up in the Survey Corps uniform.”
“Wait, are you sure?” Mike’s brows creased. “The whole point of the operation was to be inconspicuous. We shouldn’t be hanging a large sign on our backs.”
“Wrong. You absolutely should hang a large sign on your backs. Like I said, Ennis will be on the lookout for the Survey Corps’ response to this. The faster we can lure his men to us, the better.”
“And what if Ennis anticipates this?” asked Erwin. “He figured me out in a flash. I’m sure he’d anticipate this.”
“He absolutely will, but he’ll still have no choice but to dig in. It’s true our main mission is to make Lovof back down from Cantaceres, but whilst we do that we also have to get Levi’s and your men’s whereabouts. The faster we do that, the better. I trust I don’t have to explain to you what you must do should you lure and capture some of their men.”
Lutz and Flagon gulped heavily.
“You don’t,” said Erwin. “We’ll get it done. I presume in the meantime you’ll retrieve Lovof’s children. Will you bring them down here?”
“I will. And then Lovof will come looking for them.”
“I have a question,” chimed Lutz. “When we go above ground, what exactly do we look for? Erwin said Kit and Soren asked around in the skid rows and, well, look what happened. I know we’re bait, but what do we do? The same as they did?”
“Like I said, your job is to look pretty. You’re bait, that’s all you are. If you can best their men, that’s fine, but I’d prefer it if you got captured.”
“H-hold on, what!?” Lutz shot up from his seat. “No way in Rose’s name, uh-uh! I’m not getting captured to be tortured by anyone! I’m here to rescue the ones getting tortured! I can’t do that i-i-if–”
Kenny was unimpressed by the outburst. “Flagon, please control your woman.”
“Lutz is right to be concerned,” Erwin said, “getting captured isn’t an ideal thought for us.” Lutz seemed happy Erwin agreed that this madness was unacceptable. “But do quiet down, Lutz, please.”
Well, he didn't agree, it seemed. Lutz whined huskily with impatience. “I can’t believe we’re actually considering this!”
Flagon tugged him so that he sat down, which he did.
“Why must we get captured?” Erwin asked.
“Because I want you to lure their men. When Ennis went after ya, it must’ve been to get information on what you had, not just through interrogation. Tangible evidence. Documents. Things you very much have. He’ll want that.”
“And you want us to lure them here?”
“That’s right. At least one of you. If the rest get captured and sent to their hideout, that’s fine, so long as one of ya manages to get ‘ere.”
“But what if you get here with Lovof’s kids? His men will be here and–”
“Yes, they will. What about it?”
“H-hold on,” Flagon defended himself, “I know it sounds like a stupid question, of course it’ll scare them to see their Duke’s children kidnapped, but I mean what if that doesn’t work somehow, and they shoot without asking questions?”
“No need to concern yourself with that. Just do as you're told.”
“You’re asking us to get kidnapped here, man, come on! At least tell us your whole plan!” Lutz’s hand shot up.
“No.”
“Huh!? What do you mean no!?”
“I mean no. Goddamn, you’re annoying. Just get captured, it ain’t as bad as ya think.”
Lutz wailed in complaint.
“If we manage to subdue his men first, do we take them here?” Mike asked.
“Yes.”
Erwin was wary of Kenny’s secrecy.
“What should we expect?” asked Mike. “If we capture them first or if they capture us. Besides the mission to catch you, we’ve never done any operations against humans. Now this with the Ennis guy, it’s–”
“And how did you catch me, exactly?” Kenny asked curiously. “The whole secret thing. Who told you that?”
Mike suddenly wished he hadn’t said anything at all.
“That’s not what we’re here to discuss,” Erwin came to his aid. “Mike’s question is a good one, however. What do you reckon we prepare for?”
“For someone to approach you or try to kidnap you. Dying is something you won’t have to worry about yet, I’d wager.”
“We don’t?” Flagon raised his voice, sounding relieved.
“No, he won’t kill ya. He’s too smart for that.”
“So, while you retrieve Lovof’s children, we should just… go around the interior luring them to us?”
Kenny was growing irritated. “Yes, how many times do I have to say it?”
“Sorry, sorry!” Flagon waved his hands. “I’m just nervous.”
“You won’t die and you probably won’t get tortured, not too badly.”
“Not too badly…” Lutz mumbled. “God, I hate this so bad, I want to go home. I don’t like this place,” he touched his eyepatch. “I hate this place. Why can’t they just leave us alone? Fuck, I hate… oh, fuck…”
He placed a hand on his chest as his breathing began to accelerate. Recognising what this meant, Flagon immediately placed himself across him.
“I know,” Flagon cooed. “Breathe slowly. Count out loud.”
Lutz complied. He slowed his breaths and counted each one. He began trembling.
“Five,” said Flagon, and to this Lutz said, “Friends.”
“Four,” said Flagon, and to this Lutz said, “Warmth.”
“Three,” said Flagon, and to this Lutz said, “Crackling fire.”
On they went. When they repeated this, Lutz’s answers became a lot more descriptive.
Kenny’s brows creased with curiosity. “What’re they doing?”
“Lutz suffers from panic attacks,” Mike said softly. “Has for a while now. It was never easy to calm him at first, but we found a little method.”
“The 5-4-3-2-1 method,” Erwin chimed in. “It’s a grounding exercise. When we notice the first signs he’s going to have one, one of us tries to ground him in the present moment, so he can focus. It involves all five senses. Sight, touch, hearing, smell and taste. With deep breaths, he must decreasingly describe something he’s asked. So, five things he can see, four that he can feel, three that he hears and so forth. If he can’t focus and see, feel, hear, smell or taste anything, he can just describe his favourite things for each sense.”
Kenny’s brows rose. “Does it always work?” he asked as he watched Flagon stand before Lutz, guiding him without crowding him.
“If we catch him like this when it’s about to start, it does, yes. When it has already started, it’s trickier, but helping him with his breathing normally suffices. The important thing is to give him space and not overwhelm him, hence why only one of us should step in.”
Kenny’s eyes narrowed slightly. That day… he thought.
The deafening shots. The screaming. The feeling of warm blood pooling underneath his bare feet as waning, dying eyes stared at him.
He’d had to run as fast as his feet could carry him, along with the girl who barely held his hand, as though she’d lost life of her own. All whilst hearing the derisive laughter in the distance, mocking them, expressing they’d get them, too. The voice that had joyfully shouted to release the hounds.
The sound of the barks, the vicious barks. They’d run for so long their feet had bled.
How many times had Kenny had to ground Kuchel? When he wanted to break down, too, but couldn’t because he just had to be strong for them both?
He’d never broken in his life. Maybe that’s why he hurt all the time.
No. Don’t think about that, not right now.
He silently moved away to give them space. He didn’t want to pretend to read the documents or any of that shit, so he simply poured himself some scotch to drink. He sat at the counter to wait.
Truthfully, he was a little taken aback by Erwin’s expression. It was soft and gentle. Not to mention the juggernaut Mike, who was usually so stoic. Then, shortly after, it seemed Lutz came back to them. He opened his eye. He glanced around in recognition of his surroundings.
“Thank you,” he muttered, to which Flagon nodded. He seemed very embarrassed and awkward when his reluctant gaze met Kenny’s. He held the back of his neck. “Err… I’m sorry. I know that was unpro–”
“No words are necessary. If you’re feeling better, we can get started.”
Lutz nodded.
“Shall we meet down here to discuss the day’s proceedings in case we find nothing?” asked Erwin.
Kenny gathered his things. “Sure, sure. One of ya can stay behind to look after the place if ya want. Four days is what we’ve got. That’s plenty o’ time.”
Without further words, he left the house.
Erwin squinted at the door. It was then Mike sighed. “What is it?” he asked. “I know that look.”
“He’s being so secretive. I wonder what he’s hiding.”
“That’s rich,” Mike said sarcastically.
Erwin was surprised by how much his comment had bothered Mike. They shared a strained look while Lutz chugged some water.
“I don’t want to get captured,” Flagon spoke up, mostly to break the tense silence.
“Me neither. God, what if they take my other eye!? You guys always joke about that and now it may actually happen! God, this sucks !”
Flagon rubbed Lutz’s back with an amused smile.
“I’m not sure whether we should–”
“Let’s just go along with what the man is asking,” Mike interrupted Erwin. “It’s the least we can do.”
Erwin didn’t seem to like this. More than anything, he was wondering why he’d irritated Mike so much. “There’s not much else we can do, realistically. I suppose we must lure Ennis’s men to us and see what plays out.”
“Should someone stay behind?” Mike asked, heeding Kenny’s words.
“If we’re going to lure them to us, we might as well stay together. This place is safe on its own.”
“Do you really think we can do this before the four days are up?” Lutz asked Erwin.
“I do now.”

You're gonna fry your brain.
Hello everyone, since it's finals season and we're all probably really dead inside, I decided to self indulge in some tattoo artist! Sukuna writing, so here's this brainrot that won't let me focus on studying. You can read more of this au in the au masterlist.
I've been trying so hard to finish up a bartender! Dabi fic I have in the works for too long, hopefully I can get around to it too. After finals are done I'll be writing a lot more that's for sure.
Tattoo artist! Sukuna x f!reader
Warnings: language, suggestive tones, that's it.
Finals are by far the worst thing about college, y/n knows that the hard way. She's been stressing herself out for the past few days, maybe weeks, going over the same material again and again. She'd constantly argue that she really needs to pass with an high grade that's why she's so obsessive over it.
Sukuna had tried multiple times to help her ease her nerves, he's been there, although he was the type who never really stuck his nose in a book for too long, regardless, his best girl needed a break, no matter how hard she denied it.
Y/n had declined his invitations of going out, she dropped by the shop a few times, bringing Sukuna some food, but he could tell she was slowly burning herself up.
Today was no different, y/n had been writing everything down all day to help memorize it better. So many hours has passed since she started her study session but she didn't even notice that her clock read 8 pm already.
Sukuna did notice, y/n had been barely responding back to his texts and it was time he took matters into his own hands.
The earpiercing doorbell pulled y/n out of her trance like state, she quickly got up from her desk to go and get rid of whoever just rung it.
"Dollface, I was beginning to think you had died in there."
There was Sukuna, leaning in her doorframe, looking as good as he always did, in a plan white t shirt and a gray pair of sweatpants, holding a few bags and a huge basket.
"not quite, what's all this?"
Y/n motioned to the bags he had.
"Nothing much, just some things I picked up for you, will you let me in? this basket is fucking heavy."
No, the basket wasn't that heavy, Sukuna could carry it just fine, he just wanted to make sure that y/n didn't have a chance to deny him.
Y/n stepped aside to let Sukuna in, and he went straight to her kitchen, dropping his bags on the table.
"Thanks for dropping by babe, but I really need to finish the last three chapters I have left."
"Y/n, you're going to fry your brain at this rate, no more studying for today."
"But-"
"No buts, you won't read another sentence today. We're destressing together."
Turns out, Sukuna had brought over many different things. He's not the type of guy to shy away from anything, so the first thing he did was to grab y/n and drag her into her bathroom.
Sukuna had taken mental notes the first time he looked through y/n's skincare products, he was able to determine her skin type and he went a bit crazy, buying her different things to try out.
"You are insane, that's drunk elephant, why did you get this many things?"
"Because you have the really terrible cheap stuff, now shut up you're going to eat the soap if you keep talking with cleanser all over your face."
Now, y/n's skincare wasn't bad, Sukuna had expensive taste and he's a bit of a brand snob
Sukuna gently poked her cheek with a smile as y/n's face distorted because she had in fact tasted the cleanser and Sukuna could only laugh at her before she flicked some into his mouth too.
"Don't kiss me with a face mask on you brat"
Y/n let out a soft laugh, Sukuna was doing his best to concentrate at the task at hand. Matching y/n's nail polish to his. Y/n had just finished painting his, matte black like he requested but y/n gave him some white polish on his ring finger. Sukuna had argued for a bit, saying it didn't look good and that he didn't like it, but gave in after y/n gave him a puppy face, can you blame him?
"But you look so cute like that."
Y/n complained, knowing that this little comment was going to feed Sukuna's ego more.
"I know doll, but artificial orange doesn't taste as good as it smells."
Y/n once again wasn't wrong, his cocky attitude always creeped in at times, not that she minded.
Time passed fast with watching trash reality shows on y/n's couch, after their very own self care day, Sukuna made sure to fix something they could both eat. Now they were engolved in each others arms, y/n's sleepy eyes staring up at him.
"How are you feeling, doll?"
Sukuna's hand found her hair, gently resting on top of her head.
"Much better, you're the best you know that?"
"I've heard it once or twice, I'll give you reasons to say it more often"
He gave her a gentle smile, leaning closer to steal a kiss, a little more intimate than the ones they shared earlier.
" 'Kuna, I'm sorry I was so stressed and distant this week, I probably worried you-"
"Don't be stupid, it's ok, I just want you to know I'm here for you, and it's just finals. You're a smart cookie, I'm sure you'll do great."
Y/n found his words reassuring and nuzzled closer to him, letting her lungs burn with his scent that never got less intoxicating.
"Thank you 'kuna, what would I do without you?"
The last few words came out slurred, but Sukuna understood everything, y/n's breathing got steadier against him.
"I don't know doll I'm just glad to have you here, I promised to take good care of you."
And just like that, y/n was fast asleep next to him, he didn't mind her uncomfortable couch one bit all he cared about was how at peace she looked. Maybe he would move her to her bed later, he couldn't bring himself to do it now.
The next morning, y/n found herself on her bed, Sukuna had almost woken her up getting ready before he left to go to work, but he managed to put her right back to sleep with a kiss on the forehead and a light "don't wake up yet doll".
Y/n made her way to the kitchen, Sukuna usually left a little letter for her on the nightstand by the bed, he must've been in a rush today.
Not quite the case.
Sukuna not only made her, her favourite breakfast, he also left post it notes in some places.
You suck at food shopping, thank me later.
Was written on her fridge.
So that's what all the bags were for, y/n didn't find out last night because of how tired she was, and how much fun she had being around sukuna.
He had filled up her fridge with everything she ever needed to make a meal for herself or have a snack. Let's be honest Sukuna just wanted to cook for her again.
Another post it was found in her bathroom cabinet.
You're probably gonna get mad at me for this but I'm not sorry, you deserve it.
The poor cabinet was stuffed to the brim with brand name skincare that made anyone's wallet scream in anguish and a lot of bathbombs. Upon closer look y/n almost cried at how attentive Sukuna was, he took extra care to look out for her skins needs.
Y/n found the last post it on her desk while she did her revision.
Don't overwork yourself doll, you've got me for that.
Y/n brought Sukuna cupcakes from seven different bakeries to try that day.
Bonus Domain shenanigans: "Sukuna left early again?"
Megumi asked, the day had been going pretty slow he wasn't surprised his friend dipped.
"Yeah, he left this behind though."
Geto held up a very nice looking white shop bag, a slight glimmer in his eye let the rest of his friends know he planned something.
"So? What's in it anyways?"
Gojo was resting his chin on his hand, blank expression on his face, completely unamused by Geto's discovery.
"Give me that"
Nanami swiftly snatched the bag, curious to see what was inside of it. He reached in and retrieved several wrapped round objects.
"Bathbombs?"
He questioned puzzled, but then his lips tugged upward.
Megumi, Nanami, Gojo and Geto, each got two bathbombs, and even though they would outright say it, they were pretty damn exited to drop them in their bathtubs. That's what Sukuna gets for avoiding clean up.
Sukuna entered the shop barely greeting anyone and begun looking around. Fuck he was looking for something, everyone tried to keep their composure.
"Have you seen a white bag?"
He finally looked at the group of men before him.
"like a backpack? No "
Megumi spoke, Sukuna begun thinking he was remembering everything wrong, that's untill he saw something sticking out of Geto's pocket. That's for sure a bathbomb he bought for y/n
"You motherfuckers, how low can you stoop to steal my girls bathbombs?"
Hey it's me again, though I'd add that here, if you have specific skin demands I tried to cover that in here so everyone can enjoy it, I have lots of allergies and skin concerns so I'm kinda sensitive to that stuff. Hope you had fun reading, remember to take it easy, untill next time :>

I’m sorry if you’ve been asked something like this before, but what do you think about Marie? Personally, I think she was just a childhood crush of Ewin’s and nothing more. He did give her up to fight in the Survey Corps and then mention that he didn’t regret his decision, after all. He even helped Nile write love letters to her or something, right? My Eruri is being threatened and I need to know this lol, please help me!
I occasionally get asks that talk about Marie in an effort to "prove" that Erwin could never have feelings for anyone else or else that he is permanently and incurably straight.
I also get asks pointing out Erwin's flaws - his ruthlessness, his depression, his deceptions, the pursuit of his dream - as proof that he is canonically a horrible person and therefore unworthy of anyone's honest care or concern.
I recognize all of these types of asks as bait and unless I can use them as a leaping off point for something I want to talk about, I ignore them.
Your ask might be bait as well. So many these days start with "Hello fellow eruri!" in a pretense of trying to seem sincere. It makes me laugh a little. Do I seem that naive?
Regardless, I'm in a mood and I can use your ask to talk about something I want to. So thank you for that. Whether your ask was bait or not, I will answer your question sincerely.
Here is my advice to you, Anon. If the existence of a decades old crush "threatens your eruri" maybe you should stick with less nuanced characters and less realistic relationships. Read stories where people fit more neatly into boxes of good and bad. Because everything, all of this, just makes Erwin better. It makes him more realistic. More interesting. It makes him a complex person with the sort of issues that affect complex people. Like all of us he was a multidimensional mix of good and bad, of inconsistency and constancy, of sinner and sainthood. And I love that about him.
His realistic portrayal makes all of his relationships feel real and believable and messy and imperfect in the same way my own irl relationships are.
So yes. Erwin and Nile had teenage crushes on a girl named Marie. Erwin didn't act on it. He was self aware even at a young age to recognize that his dreams were more important to him than a traditional family. As a nice guy, he encouraged and helped Nile and Marie's relationship.
He genuinely cared about Nile and Marie. You mention the love letter smartpass but my favorite is the one that touched on his and Niles childhood games and how he used one of those games to surprise Nile and Marie with baby gifts and best wishes since because of a mission he'd be unable to do it in person. He realistically knew many of those going on the mission, including himself, who were friends with Nile might not return.
So we have Erwin caring deeply about his longtime friends. But we also have Erwin being manipulative as hell and using his friendship to further his cause. Erwin genuinely wanted to help Nile and Marie and the people of Paradis. He also very genuinely wanted the MPs on his side so he didn't end up swinging from the gallows. I have no issue with this at all. People are rarely 100% altruistic so if a character is they wouldn't interest me.
As an eruri, I love this detail about Marie. I love what it reveals about Erwin. It shows that he was focused even as a teen, that he genuinely loved his friends, and that he had emotions. It adds to my enjoyment of the series.
Nothing in the manga "threatens my eruri" because I don't view the relationship as a fairytale romance. I'm going to quote @lostcauses-noregrets here because she's the writer not me and she says it perfectly:
One of the reasons that I love Eruri is that it’s a deeply complex adult relationship.  This is not a romantic infatuation, this is a relationship that has evolved over many years and it’s one that is founded on mutual trust, commitment and support. It’s not all plain sailing, adult relationships rarely are. Erwin’s behaviour clearly frustrates the hell out of Levi, but his trust in Erwin is unshakable, and you never question their commitment to each other.
And my favorite (and more colorful) lostcauses quote for people who don't see Levi and Erwin's canon relationship as special:
What the hell do they think a relationship looks like when you’re an exhausted 30 + year old war veteran who has spent their entire life fighting for survival.  It looks like this; finding someone who you can trust with your life. If you were to ask me what characterizes a successful adult relationship I would say it’s exactly this; mutual trust, respect and understanding, and when push comes to shove, the willingness to do everything in your power to help the person you hold most dear, even if that means letting them go.
And my other favorite lostcauses contribution used without permission and not requiring any explanation:

Thanks for the ask!

You haven't read the manga?..... If you only read the cherry picked levihan moments then let me tell you (not sending this with ill intend btw) that for every small Levihan moment there's a big eruri one. Like that convo where he shuts hange out after it was said about her crush on shadis? Levi actually talks afterwards about how he wants Hange to take over the rots mission and for Erwin to stay tucked in safe.
When Hange was hurt during the uprising the moment he sees Erwin he's just nonchalant about? And yes she said she was okay and he was mad about her being hurt in the first place, but the looks he gives erwin not only this moment but throughout? Not really platonic tbh...
Or the falling debris scene where he seems distracted? Yes he's thinking about hange's safety but the worried look is at Erwin's direction on the wall.
And also in chuugaku, there's a chapter about Erwin and Levi's relationship, exposition provided by Hange herself, where it's pretty much implied that Levi has the hots for him (complete with a bottom levi joke). Like he's the only member of the "home-making" club headed by Erwin where he basically cleans and cooks for him while erwin reads his paper like they're a couple and they've put marks like: don't search eruri on tumblr/ao3 haha.
Point is while levihan is a ship that's MAYBE canon, there's a lot more concrete evidence for eruri. The only thing that throws it off is there's no discussion about Erwin's feelings nowhere that could be interpreted as romantic. And combine that with his crush for dok's wife back in the day maybe he wasn't into Levi the same way/ maybe bi, we'll never know.
But Levi legit was in love with him.
What strengthens levihan on the other hand is that hange is transparent about her feelings for Levi. And if you take the last chapters into consideration then levi could have reciprocated them. It wasnt framed as clear as his feelings for Erwin though imo.
I'm not against either ship and think they're both precious, but levihan is a lot harder to read into and it makes me sad their romantic relationship wasn't more developed if romance was what Isayama hinted yo towards the end. Maybe yams left levihan up to interpretation deliberately? Maybe we read too much into it and it's not really there? Maybe eruri was queerbaiting? Maybe both are canon and Levi's just swings both ways? Idk the answers to any of that and unless the author comes clean we'll never be sure about levihan a hundred percent. Less doubts about eruri though...
Anyways, no hard feelings and I really LOVE your fanfics! Hope you have a very nice day and continue writing!
I have been looking for the right time to go through this ask because this ask just kinda made me think but not like about anything against the eruri ship. Like go ahead, ship eruri and feel free to meta eruri in my anon inbox but like the arguments here are a bit wishy washy.
Like that convo where he shuts hange out after it was said about her crush on shadis? Levi actually talks afterwards about how he wants Hange to take over the rots mission and for Erwin to stay tucked in safe.
Well, of course he would ask Erwin to stay tucked safe. Erwin is literally missing one arm and Hange was the most competent person to lead in the field at that point in time. How is this related to romance? I mean, if you wanna play the romance game, remember that Levi was legit injured, he could barely stand and he still forced himself to stand up to talk to Hange.
When Hange was hurt during the uprising the moment he sees Erwin he's just nonchalant about? And yes she said she was okay and he was mad about her being hurt in the first place, but the looks he gives erwin not only this moment but throughout? Not really platonic tbh...
Levi literaly gave the most poker 'pokerface' in this scene and I do not understand how it could be seen as not platonic. If we're talking about non platonic looks then maybe we should look for a scene where Levi's biting his lip seductively because let's face it, all the looks Levi gave Erwin, Hange and Petra could all be interpreted as platonic, we're all just a bunch of shippers trying to find the romance and the canonicity for our favorite ship lmao.
Or the falling debris scene where he seems distracted? Yes he's thinking about hange's safety but the worried look is at Erwin's direction on the wall.
Yeah, because people like to stare at someone else while worrying about a particular someone's safety. I dunno but what if Levi was worried about both of them? Why do we have to blatantly disregard the fact that he explicitly mentioned 'Hange' in that scene and shoehorn Erwin's position in that scene.
Levi is literally an implied minor in chuugakkou and Erwin is a teacher. Nothing else needs to be said.
The flawed evidence above will only make for a flawed conclusion.
What strengthens levihan on the other hand is that hange is transparent about her feelings for Levi. And if you take the last chapters into consideration then levi could have reciprocated them. It wasnt framed as clear as his feelings for Erwin though imo.
As someone who has watched the show and read the manga and discussed this with people, none of my casual watcher friends even noticed Eruri crumbs. A lot of them didn't notice Levihan crumbs either so hey, we both lose here I guess.
My personal take on this and the takes of a lot of casual watchers I have talked to is, Levihan has more crumbs than Eruri but maybe it only got development given the circumstances post season 3 since Levi and Hange were working closely together. If Erwin didn't die, maybe there could have been more Eruri moments. I haven't seen enough though and I cannot so hastily conclude that Levi was in love with Erwin.
Levi could have in love with both of them. Or just one of them.
And yeah, maybe Levihans are reading too much into it. But so what if we read too much into it?
I like them. I will continued reading too much into relationships which I believe could have been healthy and could have had a great dynamic if they pushed through as something romantic.
The point of getting into a relationship is for two people to come out of it better people and I will continue to ship a couple which I think is sending a good message to others regardless of whether or not it was framed clearly enough for people to see the 'romance.'
'Living together' with someone may not be as clear as sex or a kiss for a lot of people but I think it runs MUCH MUCH MUCH deeper. Sex and kisses are a dime a dozen. Commitment and Cooperation are diamonds.

Eruri Laundromat romance
This is a little something from my twitter that I wanted to share, maybe one day I’ll turn it into a longer fic.
Washing machine hearts
Erwin's a busy man- he works in finance- he doesn't give himself the luxury of going home often so he brings a change of clothes with him and keeps it in his office locker, this means he needs to wash said clothes.
At 3:00AM, every morning, he sees another guy sitting quietly on one of the benches reading a book. Erwin doesn't know why he sits there when he doesn't seem to having any washing to do, they say nothing to each other, but slowly start to expect the other to be there. Erwin brings his own work and the mysterious laundry man reads his book, always wearing some kind of jumper or hoodie, black hair and striking eyes.
This continues on for months until the stranger is short of change one day, he turns to Erwin and asks, “Hey, do you think I could borrow 50p?” and for some reason Erwin knows the stranger is talking to him, he fishes it out of his pocket, “sure, here” Erwin doesn't even have to look, he knows the stranger sits on the same table on the same seat, they are both creatures of habit. “Thanks, hold me to it yeah? I hate being indebted,” Erwin smiles lightly 'I know where you'll be if I ever need it back - consider it a gift, I regular to another.' The stranger clicks his tongue in amusement, and from then on they start talking more: about books, about plants, about clothes, their favourite laundry powders and conditioners, how shitty the economy is, the library, how shitty the weather is, rating the different Ikea show rooms in magazines, or how shitty people at work can be.
Erwin starts finding different ways to make sure he's at the laundromat at that time, sometimes the stranger isn't there, sometimes they sit in comfortable silence, sometimes they both bring drinks and snacks, and sometimes they both laugh their heads off like old friends.
It's a year or so into their odd friendship that begins to teeter into a little more when Erwin suddenly realises something, “I don’t know your name,” the stranger retorts, “and I don't know yours,” He takes a sip of his drink, it’s summer ; the large bedsheets he uses for picnics with his friends are being washed with Surf, on Blondie's recommendation, he takes a larger swig of the cool drink Blondie bough for them- not bad, he sticks his hand out for a handshake- “Name's Levi,” Erwin takes his hand with a firm, comfortable grip, grinning like an idiot, “Erwin, it's a pleasure to meet you,” and Levi just laughs with his head tipped back, “pleasure's all mine,” lifting his drink in celebration.
