Like there is no main character, there is no main set of worldbuilding rules? Idk how well I'm explaining it, but there is no strict canon. One of the things we like about Martyn's worldbuilding is that it is actually somewhat open from what we can tell, he gives space for others to add on and interpret.

It's also just a thing we like with MC/MCRP worldbuilding in general, it's open so people can come in and do as they want

When fans go in, rally behind One Setting with One Rule and Nothing Else, it just gets bland?

yeah ik what ur getting at its like worldbuilding should be good enough that it can be explored further in various different ways it shouldnt just be one thing and thats it and thats all you can explore bc ofc thats bound to get so very old so very fast and like even with worldbuilding that isnt intentionally left more open its still possible to explore it bc theres like A Lot of it probably
