Learnt about Welcome Home lore litteraly just yesterday... SO HERE IS MY OC!

Their name as a whole is Weekly! They have a dissociative identity disorder, making them multiple identities within a single body.

(Disclaimer : my OC is in no way a good/realistic exemple of DID. This is a fictional fan-character for a fictional story about a fictional show.)

In a universe where the show aired other days than just saturdays- Weekly is a reccuring neighbour who seems to be a different person depending on which day of the week we're in. Always taking after one of the other neighbours (except Wally) they seem to always be assisting one of them.

Each identity refers to the others as if they were all members of the same family, insisting they are all different people with different lives, and calling you crazy if you dare insinuate otherwise.

They all have different relationships with the neighbours, and different preferences and way of thinking. Some of them do share memories with each others but not every identities will remember the same things.

Peri wanted to stalk— observe! He started to observe your babysitter skills more!!

Dev had just asked you to get his favorite cereal from the cereal bar. You returned with a frown, empty-handed. "Dev, I can't find any of those. I think you're out of them."

"Then get me some from the supermarket! And make it quick!" Granted, he could always make his Au Pairs do his bidding, but where's the fun in that?

You hesitated. "Hmm. I can't exactly leave you alone. Wanna come with me?"

...Honestly, why'd his dad even hire a babysitter? With a loud, annoyed groan, Dev agreed anyway. He hasn't been out of the house for a few days, so he might as well. Hopefully, he'll see Hazel— wHAT? who said that??

Of course, Peri followed you both.

It wasn't until Dev started straying off from you and picking up random snacks that Peri decided to reveal himself again.

"Dev, wait, don't go too far— woah!"

This wasn't in the plan. Peri just changed into a human! Any milisecond earlier, you would have seen him transform!

Good thing you didn't. Now, you stared at him, wide-eyed, in his arms. Peri stared at you back with his lilac eyes. It seemed like it was your turn to trip on him.

"It's you!" You recognized the same purple-haired guy from yesterday. He's holding you up now.

Peri smiled, eventually letting you go when you regain your balance. "Haha, it's me! Sorry again, but I definitely didn't expect you to fall for me next."

You blinked at his confidence. That is certainly unexpected. With a laugh, you retort, "What can I say? You're one pretty boy."

He's mentally freaking out. You think he's pretty? Peri may be smooth and suave to most, but in the inside, he's more than likely prone to losing it.

"[Name]! You better be doing your job and finding my cereal!" Dev called out from multiple aisles away.

Peri snapped his gaze back to you, carefully reading your expression. You sighed with a tired smile. "Whoops. I would love to talk more, but I gotta take care of that kid first."

This is an opportunity to check how you really feel about Dev. Peri cleared his throat, looking away. "That sounds like Dev Dimmadome. I heard that he's a real doozy to handle."

"I won't deny that," you replied, causing his eyes to widen, "but I think he just needs a friend."

Then you left and went straight to the cereal aisle. Peri stood in the same spot, speechless.

Maybe you are fit to be Dev's caretaker. Probably will even do a better job than him.

"Hey."

Peri shrieked, turning around to find Dev standing behind him. The kid raised an eyebrow at the stranger.

"What the? Are you... crying right now?" Dev said with disbelief, judging Peri's entire being.

I took a long hiatus from writing and Tumblr in general because of bad burnout and putting expectations on myself that I shouldn’t have. Ha. But I’m back! And good news! I started writing again! Better news?

I decided to officially discontinue Emerald Embers and the Daylight’s Redemption series and write my own book.

I was already making everything so different from ToA that it was practically an alternate universe already: redesigning Merlin, making Merlin and Charlie familiars, adding magical species that weren’t explicitly in canon, completely changing other characters… I still love ToA, but I’m not hyperfixated on it anymore. And that’s okay. I was so scared of letting go for a long time, but I’m happy with my decision.

My wip is now called The King of the Nameless!

Currently, there are five main characters, and tidbits about each of them will be a little further down. (Except for one guy. He sucks.) Their attempted designs will also be down there.

In some aspects, it probably hasn’t changed too much. I’m still basing it off of Arthurian Legends, and Merlin is still the protagonist. But I redesigned him. Again.

The deuteragonist is Charlie; he and Merlin are still familiars. I tried several different names for him, but none of them would stick for him no matter how hard I tried; so Charlie the dragon he stays. But he now has the last name Ambrosius to reflect that he and Merlin are found family as well.

The other three characters in this stage of the story are Igraine, Gorlois, and Uther.

Igraine is Arthur and Morgana’s mother in the Arthurian Legends, (which I did not know at first and was wondering how Arthur and Morgana were half-siblings because they have different fathers…) and will stay the same here. I couldn’t find any official last name for her besides Pendragon from when she marries Uther? (Which is not going to happen here.) So I gave her and her husband the last name “le Fay” to match their daughter!

Gorlois is Igraine’s husband, and like I said, is Morgana’s father. However, unlike some media, he’s not going to be portrayed as a jealous and abusive husband. He’s the epitome of the “I love my wife” guy.

Uther is… a piece of work, to say the least. He’s the character who’s going to have a separate post because of triggering topics that I don’t want in this post.

I’m also going to make a separate post for upcoming characters, which include Nimue, Morgana, Arthur, etc.

Bear with me on lore and designs though please (I’m still working on the lore and I’m not sure if these will be their permanent designs except for Charlie). Some of it might be just random babble until I decide on something 😭 You’ll definitely be able to tell which characters I think about most ahaha.

Anyways, in more good news, I don’t use Artbreeder anymore. I attempt to use Picrews, but sometimes they don’t have everything I want, so I also use character creators from video games. If I could use Baldur’s Gate 3’s, I definitely would, but I’d have to spend like $600-ish to get something to play it on and get the game. ���� I could also play it with my boyfriend, but our schedules are so busy with both of us working that’s it not really a convenient option.

But there is a game called Dragon’s Dogma, and I’ve been using that one! It’s an older game, so it doesn’t really have many fantasy character options, but it’s good enough for human characters lol. I made Igraine and Gorlois with it, and a few other characters yet to be posted.

Design and lore time!

Merlin:

This is him at the beginning of TKN! Expect more art of him eventually.

• “my son crump he has every disease”: schizophrenia, C-PTSD, misophonia

• is still a cambion like in the Arthurian Legends (specifically half-human, half-demon)

• was supposed to be the Anti-Christ (also like in the Legends)

• is also a romance and sex repulsed, non-partnering aroace <3.

• usually excudes a regal, dignified presence, and his preference for flowing outfits helps

• may seem slightly formal with strangers, but on a good day where he can clock their personality, he’ll either warm up to them quickly, or distance himself, depending on the person

• has a strong sense of justice, which also makes him anti-authoritarian for the most part. (unless they’ve actually proven that they’re not just in their position for the power of it, or because of nepotism; and really do want to help people.)

• extremely loyal

• highly empathetic; cries easily

• has a lot of trauma, but is still kind because he’s not going to make people suffer just because he did

• adrenaline junkie in regards to flying with Charlie

• Doesn’t kill if not necessary.

• Is very punctual. If you tell him to come at 5 he’ll be there at 4:30. At most.

Charlie:

• 6' 6" (top of muzzle)

• 7' 3" (top of head)

• the marking on his leg is his familiar mark!

• still nice, seems a little rougher around the edges than Merlin

• says the things that his wizard thinks but won’t say, and doesn’t hide that he stares people down while gauging their character. he sometimes won’t care that he sounds mean or very direct either

• very protective of his familiar and is intensely loyal to him. isn’t really willing to leave the latter alone with people they don’t really know because of people attempting to take advantage of his schizophrenia in the past, gaslighting him into thinking that their actions weren’t real and were things he hallucinated/imagined

• Do no harm but take no shit

• Far more willing to kill than Merlin

• “Hey do you want me to kill that guy for you? Because it sounds like he sucks and I will totally kill that guy for you.”

• (I guess he technically counts as an emotional support animal but like. he’s sentient so idk 😭)

• is an omnivore (most dragons are, but he eats more human food than them from growing up and staying around them.)

Igriane:

• 6' 5"

• a wizard!

• was originally a red head before I realized that oh yeah. Morgana has brown hair, and a ginger and blonde would definitely not for the most part have a brunette kid

• purple eyes (haven’t decided if I’m gonna stay with this concept, but I like the idea of all wizards having some type of heterochromia, or technicolor eyes to show that they have magic)

Gorlois:

• 6' 0"

• he doesn’t have any type of unique eye color yet because I didn’t have the concept of that for wizards yet, and still not sure if I’m gonna keep it so. blue eyes for now

• again I say he’s the “I love my wife” guy!!

• also a wizard (which is where Morgana gets her magic when she’s born. You have two parents with magic you’re like. guaranteed to have magic.)

• maybe not really much of a fighter? Would probably use some type of sword if he was.

Hi, I just want to say this well I don’t like angel dust all that much I do think their is some hope in him. If the show is willing to dig deep. We can’t forget that Angel was a closet gay mafia guy in the 1910-40’s who have fun killing people and die by OD then gotten SA in the after life.

What I’m saying is Angel’s Sa is only tip of the iceberg for the reason why he takes drugs because he clearly have issues and what can cause him to fall of the wagon if one of those issues ever comes back again . In fact what if Angel went with Charlie and Vaggie to heaven for his trial, now Angel if off drugs so now he is in his most vulnerable.

During the trial we are given testimony with all the victims one by one that have gotten their life��s ruined by Angel’s actions. Each given gruesome details, some gotten so bad to the point that the victims begs the princesses of hell to keep angel in hell. This will lead to the final victim that one that broke the camel back which is angel’s boyfriend. ( let’s name him Jack).

Now Jack much like Charlie did everything he could to help angel out with his addiction and problems a roof in his head, hot meals, and a steady part time job working with him in his family small shop. Everything goes well but as Jack soon will find out old habits dies hard and again and again and again. It gotten so bad to the point that money and stuff will go missing from the store. Stranger in the front door demanding money , drug hidden in the sofa it can go on and on. It gotten to the point that when Jack does try to kick Anthony ( Angel’s real name) out guess what Anthony does he tries keeping Jack in line by using sex, drugs, and saying stuff like “ I’m sorry it won’t happen again please forgive me or I have change.” This relationship will randomly in the worst ways by Angel choose his abusive family respect over his caring boyfriend and well he made his choice.

Jack last words before he goes will also be a  warning for Charlie to understand “ He left, with the respect of the of people that he told he hated the most ,I was left in the cold ground slowly dying,alone so be careful princess because that man is only gonna you drag you down with him.” 

This would be both Charlie and Angel wake up call

A; he have to understand that redemption doesn’t mean doing it for yourself so that you can better life, but to understand that your actions have a hurt so many people and that you where a toxic person when you were alive and if you want a better afterlife you need to take responsibility for you own actions.

C: she is going to learn the harsh reality that her plans might under developed that Sinners have layers in them , that teachers them sorry isn’t going to help because where was that apology before? That should sinners will devise to go to heaven and that if they truly are sorry then they should accept their punishment.

Maybe season 2 will tackle that  subject or not we just have to wait and see. Sorry for the long rant injoy the rest of your day.

I really like the concept of tackling repenting as in actually accepting you did bad stuff in your past instead of just trying to be good now, but also I have no idea who Jack is and this is strangely worded like Angel SA’d this random guy?😭

reasons why i think mimi (jing yuan’s lion) is still alive

first of all, qingzu (the npc in the exalting sanctum) seems like she’s just lying about random things. for example, each of the following secrets she tells us can be easily debunked.

1) she lies about jing yuan’s master (jingliu) being a master comedian

Qingzu: Lots of folks know Jing Yuan had a mentor. But most people get it wrong and think the mentor was some swordmaster. Nah, only a few people know the real deal — the mentor was actually a great crosstalk comedian.

Qingzu: Jing Yuan spent the first 500 years of his life as a crosstalk comedian. His comedy mentor was also his perfect partner on stage.

Qingzu: And now, the sword prodigy, Yanqing, only stayed by Jing Yuan's side to learn the art of crosstalk.

Qingzu: We have this annual arts and culture show where Jing Yuan and Yanqing do a crosstalk skit together. Last year's The Cowardly Escort was really awesome...If you get a chance, you should come and check it out too!

2) she lies about yanqing being old and secretly being a vidyadhara. if you read yanqing’s lore then you know that he’s actually a xianzhou native

Qingzu: According to the public records at the Seat of Divine Foresight, Yanqing is still young. But word on the street is that Yanqing ain't as young as he seems. In reality, he's already of advanced years. Some of us Vidyadhara folks are like that too, where we stop aging when we hit adolescence.

Qingzu: Yanqing used to have a pair of beautiful pointy ears...but one day, a rat infestation broke out at the Seat of Divine Foresight during Yanqing's afternoon nap. That was when a giant rat nibbled his ears' pointy ends away...

Qingzu: Poor Yanqing, he's been afraid of rats since then. To protect his own image, he kept his true lineage a secret, claiming to be a young Xianzhou native.

3) she lies about the luofu guards; im simply assuming that she’s lying because this is just so outlandish lmaoo

Qingzu: Those guards over there at the entrance, we call their leader Yutie...But the truth is, they're all Yutie. Yutie is not a person's name, but an organization.

Qingzu: This organization is well-hidden and powerful, protecting the safety of the Seat of Divine Foresight for generations.

Qingzu: The Yutie standing there changes every day, but you'd never know it. They're all trained to act the same and assume the same personality.

Qingzu: If you catch a glimpse of a Yutie's face, all the other' faces will simply disappear. They just fade away, like they were never even there.

qingzu choosing to lie makes sense because if you ask her “Have you got any secrets you can share about the Seat of Divine Foresight?” she literally has no reason, at this point, to share any classified secrets. we haven’t even “saved” the luofu yet. so of course she’s going to mess with us. she also has an established personality of being...sassy?? kinda rude ig? since this is one of her first dialogues to us:

Qingzu: If you've really got nothing better to do, I think the Petrichor Inn is looking for cleaners...I know the proprietress there and can introduce you. It might just help you shake the stereotype of being a lazybones.

like wtf why would she say this 😭

finally, the last secret that she shares is the one that we are all familiar with: the one about snowmoon.

i find it pretty interesting that after she finishes talking about his lion, the mc has the choice to say “I’m afraid that doesn’t sound real to me.”

MC: Is this just a fable that you use to trick kids? Qingzu: At your age, you don't consider yourself a child?

MC: Which of these stone lions here is Snow Lion the Third? Qingzu: ...They're all pretty similar. Let me think, is it that one to the east? MC: Are you just making this up?

i think this dialogue branch was supposed to clue us into realizing that she was just BSing her way through the story, but i don’t think this was obvious enough in v1.0 (since the lion story was the only one she told back then), SO my theory is that the devs added the other 3 stories about jingliu, yanqing, & yutie in v1.1 in order to make it more obvious that she is just a deeply unserious person. i mean, it would come off as different if those additional stories were unlocked after a certain quest, but if they were added as is then we can assume that they were always meant to be there.

also, if snowmoon and mimi WERE the same and snowmoon died centuries ago, i think it’d be kinda weird if jing yuan just had his diary about his lion lying around?? like it’s literally just here on his chair

although i do want to say, it’s not impossible for him to want to take out this journal and reminisce on his past entries IF his lion is dead. so this point alone does not do enough to debunk the “mimi is dead” theory, and we also have to consider just how much qingzu lies to us.

so tldr MIMI IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!! i think?

anyways take all of this with a massive grain of salt <3 if mimi turns out to be canonically dead FOR REAL then i may actually wither away.

bee how do u organise your brainstorming for your fics?? bc LORD 😭😭😭 i have like at least three different discord channels and my google notes app that all has brainstorming for one au and it's impossible for me to find anything i feel like i have forgotten so many ideas just bc it'll be in a one off convo with one of my friends crying

im trying to now put it in one doc but like. my brain is so all over the place that i feel like i'll still lose stuff just bc of how random everything is fskjakdfj

oh uhhh it depends

for the most part if it's one of my longfics (which are usually the only ones I need separate brainstorming notes for, otherwise for my one shots and shorter fics I keep it all on just 1-2 docs including the fic itself) I keep it in google docs in a separate folder? like here's an example of what I mean

this is in my mcyt fic folder. you can see I have separate folders for my longer fics (sleepyhead = glass divine, space royalty = stars, roses = under the hanging rose) and everything not in those folders are usually just one shots, random one off au ideas I'm not going to do anything with, or mini multi chapter fics. aka the stuff I don't need to do as much brainstorming for

inside my longer fic folders is where I usually keep more of my notes or references for certain bits, along with the actual fic outlines and the fic docs themselves. however lately I've developed a bad habit of throwing worldbuilding notes into the notes app on my laptop for god knows what reason. there's literally no reason for me to put my notes into the notes app as opposed to just making another google doc for it, but for some reason my brain likes it better for worldbuilding brainstorms.

so right now the rose brainstorming stuff is a bit all over the place as you can see here (going to put it under the cut so the post isn't too long)

I'm still trying to keep things organized, although it is getting really annoying having to constantly dig through my notes app to find my worldbuilding notes so I might give up soon and transfer them over to google docs. we'll see.

oh also you reminded me I do actually have discord planning channels for my stuff but I haven't really used my rose one that much. I did use my discord for planning mostly with stars and sometimes with glass. it was largely just for keeping track of characters

honestly don't know why this worked for tracking my characters over just using a notes app I don't recommend it but if you do make sure to name your brainstorming channels consistently with whatever you're titling your docs so you can find them easily

anyway my advice is to just try to keep it all at least in one folder if you can't keep it all in one doc. and if you do end up making it more scattered, try to keep a consistent naming convention so you can identify docs/notes on the au quickly (unlike me who uses roses on google docs and has still not changed the label from 'hotd inspired' on my notes app)

How do you render your drawings they look so cool!

*SWEATS* Mamser, I literally have no idea what I even do while I make art—

My rendering isn't that grand nor complex (and I don't think there is any rendering. They're mostly all just flats with barely any shading or lightning with this cartoony-anime mixed style), compared to other authors who also draw their character portraits for their IF's.

It's simple and workable, like my artstyle, and I don't think it'll get more complicated than that! If it works for me, then it works.

I don't have any big brain wisdom I can impart on you or for any other budding artists, because I'm no professional and is merely self taught, but I may have some personal ones:

Steal like an artist. Find something in someone else's artstyle that you really like and adapt that to your own! Artstyles are a personal mishmash of the artists you look up to, and not all are the same even if you and someone else may have the same artistic idols. This is different from tracing, however. I DO NOT encourage tracing over someone else's work and claiming it as your own. That is stealing, you utter criminal, and I will dropkick you if you do that.

Practice. Old wisdom, but it works and it's true. You don't become Bob Ross or Leonardo Da Vinci in a day after all. It's a struggle and it'll be frustrating, but I promise once you learn to draw the thing you finally want to draw, the high from reaching that achievement is absolutely real and so, so worth it.

References. If you think you can draw a sitting position freestyle from your brain, you're wrong, because when you look at a reference of that then at your sketch, you're gonna see a lot of mistakes in the anatomy, poses, perspective etc,. So, please, stockpile your references for every possible thing that you'll be drawing, because you'll absolutely need them.

Have fun. As artists we tend to compare our work to those who we think are better in the craft, when in reality we all are just trying to get better in what we do. Look, it doesn't matter if a 3 year old can recreate Mona Lisa in perfect detail, if you enjoy doing your work then that's already enough. I prefer to see "better" artists as inspirations to try and achieve more, not as some unachievable pedestal. You can achieve that too! May not be as quick as the rest, but you will get there in your own pace. Art is a journey, not a race. Take your time, learn what you want to learn, and have fun!

Experiment. You gotta if you wanna find out what stuff sticks with you and what doesn't. It also helps you find out a technique you might like for sketching, lineart, coloring etc., or if you just wanna get the hang of something first! OR if you wanna try out a new artstyle! Art is a science, in a way. A wonderful alchemy of color, wrist pains, and shrimp posture!

Some of these are old, but I just wanna share 'em for the funsies.

And, yes, the light blue haired, dark blue eyed lady in black and glasses and guy in a green parka with a resting bitch face are Carmen and Everest, Ophelia's older siblings. I also have Weylyn's older siblings, Bleddyn and Riekka, but I plan on reworking their design first. Why do I have so many redesign plans for so many characters.

1. Random character I drew for Religions Class last semester. I loved her design, so I kept her. No name yet, sadly 😭

2. Rival Agent Team in The Company. No names yet, though purple haired gal is named Agent Carrion. All of the designs and colors were from picrews, I just changed whatever was needed to suit my own preferences.

3. Lucian and Louise Dagohoy doing a clothes swap (2020). They're siblings I love dearly. They'll show up in an IF soon. I have big plans for them.

4. Carmen and Everest. Had this for months now, and I had no idea when to show it. Might refine their design a bit when I have the time.

5. Mint. Yes, her name is Mint. Not a Familiar, but a different kind of Fae entirely. Did this on my phone in 2019(?). I was bored at the time, and wanted to do a simple doodle, so I drew Mint about to eat a carrot.

6. - 7. MSPaint doodles from 2021, during a boring class if I remember. First one's Quentin the Monarch Fae king because it's been a while since I drew that man, then Louise. She's usually drawn happy all the time, but I wanted to make her sad, so I did. Not that hard to draw on MSPaint, really. Great for lineless practice because there are no layers.

8. - 10. Raphael, Gabriel and Michael Zealon. A pair of twins and an older brother. They have the old designs of High Court Angels (this was 2021), and their conversation was based on a tweet I saw on Twitter. Don't ask why. I'm too sleep deprived to answer.

And if you're wondering what art program I use, I either use MSPaint (when I'm bored) or FireAlpaca (for most of my works). The drawing tablet I use is a Huion H430p. It's smaller compared to the normal drawing tablet (H640p) of Huion, and it's as big as a standard notebook.

I would add 20 more art if I were on my laptop right now (and also because most of my art is stored there), but that'll be all for now.

in all seriousness, i am very grateful that we got to see hawkeye being upset about missing trapper on-screen (not to mention a full on running across the countryside to the airport sequence 😭!!). they could have chosen to make this change between seasons with a time skip and an article in the TV guide and it's so much better this way.

i realize in a situation like this trapper would get home and immediately compartmentalize all of this away so he can functionally return to the world, but if you don't mind i'm going to pretend that he keeps in touch by sending random objects in the mail for the rest of the series. no note or anything just like a pair of socks with lawn flamingos on them. hawkeye will know what it means.

even better if he sends bewildering objects to frank instead. as a gift for hawkeye.

GETTING STARTED ON THE SHIPPING RANT NOW THAT I'VE WATCHED THIS EPISODE 4 TIMES OVER

My interpretation of this episode through my Breakbee lenses:

Bumblebee is so excited to race because who does he get to see? Breakdown! He wants to see his Bestie™ and show him that he's gotten better at racing in the years they've been separated. I would not be surprised if this was a form of flirting between Transformers- an old crossover comic (I forgor which one) had Arcee & Bee as a couple and I remember some panels where they're racing each other in a very romantic-coded scene. I'm honestly really vibing with the idea of Bumblebee's love language being quality time through sports like races or friendly combat (He and Alex Malto chilled out after they did the Wakwak hunt plus they practiced Kali with Robby)

Dottie scolds Bee for racing and mans is smiling and chill about it until he remembers Breakdown. He immediately gets serious and harps on about how much Breakdown means to him without directly saying who he's talking about. This is most likely a way to keep Breakdown a surprise for the audience but also consider this from the perspective of a someone with a crush or something in a similar vein- saying his name infront of someone who might be familiar with him could open up the door for lighthearted bullying. "Oooo Bumblebee has a frieeenddddddd, they're going on a daaaate" - One of the Terrans, probably Hashtag or Thrash, if they heard and felt the need to be silly and childish lol

Bumblebee literally forgot he endangered an entire family because his head is filled with thoughts of Breakdown.

Not a Breakbee thought but why is Breakdown practicing punching when he's literally gonna be speeding around as a car? The first scene they show him in he's just there. Like no one will hear him. Okay pop off sir have fun

"You ever beat 3:36?" - Breakdown, smiling, having Bumblebee's exact racing time memorized. Brain is activated.

Brief scene where the two are just staring at each other smiling.

BD was hoping Bee would be there which makes me question whether Bumblebee entered races around the world with Breakdown or Bumblebee entered races around the world to find Breakdown. They talk like it's been a while since they last met but that doesn't answer if they last met on Cybertron during the war or last year in Bohol for fun but it's probably the first option since Agent Schloder doesn't mention reoccurring blue & white cars in his earlier scene, just yellow cars.

Breakdown makes a comment about Optimus that offends Bumblebee and Bee slaps his hand away. Breakdown literally doesn't stop smiling at Bee.

"It wasn't meant to be." Breakdown, being a drama queen about how he and Bee were split by the war, circa 2023. Dude it's post-war hours and you're being silly with Bumblebee on a foreign planet WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT WASN'T MEANT TO BE??? BUMBLEBEE IS STANDING RIGHT THERE

The two briefly argue about the war and how they were on different sides but they switch topics. Now Bumblebee starts warning Breakdown about staying safe in the modern times, including the line, "Breakdown, you reckless fool!" Bee cares :)

Breakdown reacts to the mention of GHOST, meaning he's familiar with them. Did he also know Bee 'went rogue' (whatever that means, I think he just stopped going to work and changed his look without legal permission tbh) and despite being a runaway, Bee was still looking for him? Breakdown, Bee gave his everything for you 😭

"You're gonna get us both caught and I can't bail you out this time." THIS TIME??? DID BUMBLEBEE HAVE TO SAVE BREAKDOWN BEFORE?? WAS THAT WHY HE WENT ROGUE TO BEGIN WITH? Also the face Breakdown makes as Bee grabs him is silly. Random wall-pin moment like Breakdown isn't taller than Bee and could probably just leave-

"I got a family to look out for now-" Bee you just endangered them all because of Breakdown thoughts

"I'm sure there's a perfectly good reason you deserted the Autobots and went rogue." Yea, Agent Schloder, it's Breakdown. Bee literally got a sports car alt-mode for running away to find Breakdown abrjsjfnsnckskgiuhh

When Bee gets caught briefly by GHOST and Breakdown shoots him free BD doesn't have anyone following him. Breakdown could've easily run away if he wanted but nope! He went back for Bumblebee!

When GHOST begins surrounding the Transformers, Bumblebee crouches, leans towards Breakdown, and spreads his arms out LIKE HE'S GONNA PROTECT HIM- I'M SCREAMING AT YOU ABOUT THIS- BREAKDOWN DOESN'T EVEN FLINCH BUT BEE GOES TO DEFEND HIM- GO SMALL MAN GO

Breakdown asks Bee (probably jokingly) if he could shoot some GHOST agents. Bee is definitely a human-ally sort of Transformer and yells at BD initially but then chills out immediately then tells Breakdown to 'try not to hurt anyone'. Instead of fighting or protesting against Breakdown (we saw Bee tackle Swindle, no questions asked), Bumblebee just tells him to be careful 🥺 Bumblebee what

The two bots then get Dottie's help to clear up the agents and flee backwards to loop around the track to the exit- banter and whooping including

Back to an earlier point- Bee has absolutely no issue with Breakdown overturning GHOST vans. Bumblebee's reputation with humanity is second, priority is Breakdown- help my soul is gone for these two robots

When Agent Croft shoots Breakdown and he starts rolling, Bumblebee quickly transforms into robot mode with his arms out, ready to help BD. Breakdown sits up and grabs Bee's chest (idk if it's for stabilization, to pull him closer, both, or neither) and the vibe of the scene then shifts from adrenaline action to dark and dramatic. We get a close up on Breakdown's face too with him nodding and frowning, understanding the situation as he tells Bee that they're gonna have 'one last race'. Man made up his mind so fast- I'm screaming crying sobbing. Even Breakdown's usually energetic voice gets serious even though he's smiling at Bumblebee. Obviously this makes Bee panic QwQ

Breakdown gently touching Bumblebee's chest before he shoved him away to block GHOST off is so 😭 SPECIFICALLY Breakdown touches Bee's Autobot insignia- the thing that separated them in the war

As Breakdown drives off, Bumblebee screams his name twice, the first in confusion and the second with emotion. Bee's voice cracks seeing BD do this and he chases after Breakdown but can't catch up, even after Breakdown's front wheels are shot and he starts grinding his metal against the road- Bee even drives faster but doesn't make it to Breakdown 🥲👍

BREAKDOWN THROWS HIS ENTIRE BEING INTO THE GHOST BARRICADE TO GIVE BUMBLEBEE AN OPENING TO ESCAPE- DUDE SENDS CARS FLYING AND THERE'S LITERALLY METAL SPARKS EVERYWHERE

BEE GET YOUR MAN

Epic slow motion scene where it starts raining hard. Lightning and thunder are used for dramatic reasons to light up Breakdown who calls for Bee with an arm out. Bumblebee drives over and BD tosses Bee over a wall to get him out of the racetrack area. Literally the audio stops besides for deep humming and Bumblebee is shown transforming midair, reaching out for Breakdown with a look of sad shock on his face. I'm shivering and crying.

"Ha, slowpoke." If you saw this scene I literally don't need to explain because oml...

Bumblebee says "Breakdown, you reckless fool." but with very clear depression in his voice. He cares :,(

After that they show Breakdown's unconscious (I hope QwQ) body in a GHOST van because he got captured and is going to robot jail which people have said NO ONE EVER LEAVES

The episode ends with Bumblebee leaving the Malto family after endangering them and no longer being safe to be around. I'm- dude lost pretty much everything in the span of one day

THE MENTAL STRESS OF SEARCHING FOR AN OLD FRIEND FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG, THEN BEING TRACKED AND YOU ARE THE REASON THEY WERE UNCOVERED AND CAPTURED, AND NOW IT'S UNSAFE FOR YOU TO GO HOME TO YOUR FOUND FAMILY- WHAT IS THIS? WHY? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS- IT'S SO CRUEL- ESPECIALLY FOR A KIDS' SHOW- PLEASE KEEP IT COMING IT'S SO ENTERTAINING FOR ME

I've watched Security Protocols 3½ times and it gets more insane to me each time. Like I've realized Bumblebee says "Breakdown, you fool" twice, once when he warns him not to race anymore and once after Breakdown is caught. Breakdown very specifically smiles a lot, even if there's seemingly no reason to, especially when Bee is around! Both bots also reference their origins and it runs around my brain like a little hampster! They considered being on the same side but Breakdown had to be with the rest of the Stunticons so they didn't! They were on opposite sides of the war yet entirely remained friends! Bumblebee fought Swindle, another Stunticon, in an earlier episode and I need to watch it again because my brain needs to connect the Stunticons together and theorize. Also, after throwing Bee to safety, Breakdown just collapses. Dude took gunfire to the face and popped his tires- man took bullets for Bee, was greatly injured by it, and still saved him. I'm in shock and screaming and crying and I wanna know more so bad

AND THAT DOESN'T EVEN START ME ON MY SHIPPING RANT BECAUSE THESE TWO LITERALLY FIT ONE OF MY FAVORITE TROPES OF ALL TIME: FRIENDS TO ENEMIES TO LOVERS

TL;DR: I needed to scream into the void because I like Breakdown and his relationship with Bumblebee so much. Episode 14 as a whole scratches my brain so much like yes please I hate when drama happens please give me more it tastes great especially with how pretty a whole ton of scenes are in this episode specifically!
