talking to him more very much achieved. we just talked for like 4 hours in the kitchen holy shit I need to sleep
#I went into the kitchen to wash up wanting it to be a few minutes to get back to my parents by he came home at the same time#unsure what just happened honestly! as in I’m not sure what is going on from his end of the interaction#because I have never met anyone who would just do that before. like four hours straight when before we’d talked for periods of idk 10minutes#and he WAS engaged the whole time#granted he spent a significant amount of time talking. he talked far more than I did which is often the case but Im not sure how I felt here#I think he gets excited abt individual topics and. gets carried away is the wrong word but he gets absorbed in it#he spent a while talking me through the very complex maths he’s been doing recently#(he studies maths. also abt to start masters.) and was assuming a much stronger mathematical background than I have but I understood a bunch#he IS very good at explaining things and I was interested to a point but unfortunately I was not going to ask about individual theorems and#shit like that at 11pm. it was still super interesting I’m not downplaying that but I didn’t know half of what he brought up#there was basically no way I was going to understand much more than the vague concept anyway#anyway! also extremely into food. especially into traditional chinese cooking which is cool as fuck and I now know so much more abt food#I have never personally cared much at all about food. I enjoy when taste good and I enjoy cooking. he’s into the precision cooking#that he told me apparently Chinese and French food is the best in the world at. meant to be amazing at going for specific effects#oh he came back from a musical! apparently abt a woman with bipolar that was on in London I might check what that was. next to normal#cried 7 times. apparently he’s super into stories with that kinda emotional payoff. started telling me later abt tokyo animation#priest if you’re already seeing this I WILL be asking you abt it later but pls tell me whatever. he likes clannad and sound euphorium#bunch of others but those are the ones he talked most abt and started tearing up when he played me a song from clannad where the baby’s born#so I think biggest things I’ve learned are that he’s impressively in touch w his emotions (further damaging the straight guy case)#regardless it’s just nice to talk to a guy who talks abt stuff so openly it’s very refreshing#unsure how cultural differences factor in here. I would’ve expected it to go the other way but possible this is a degree more normal#and he’s very very academically minded. he learned Japanese bc was bored after high school and is doing a WHOLE lot of extra maths for fun#socially definitely very competent he’s very good at talking but a little more focused inward.#definitely did not notice the (admittedly extremely gentle) flirting throughout like when I complimented his bracelet#(this cute gold year of the rat thing his mum got him)#so yeah. was very fun talking to him. will process this for a while#I think this has definitely established that we could be friends if either of us pursue that after summer which is very cool!! will see#luke.txt

MINESTREAM
Tumblr media
SYPNOSIS > Wanting to start a new stream series with his best friends, Jay had a bright idea of playing some simple Minecraft with them. Everything was normal, until he realises there is another person in the call with them. He quickly learns that it was ni-ki’s older sister, (name). Watch how streaming a simple game of Minecraft can dig up some interesting feelings between the main leads.
FIFTEEN – that man is a f*cking simp

with the night wind blowing at your hair as you walked around with jay, you can’t help but closed your eyes. it was a nice walk at night. you had spent the afternoon with him at the cafe and talked a lot about a bunch of things.
you found out he liked a bunch of older songs, especially rock songs. he played the guitar and was trying to play more often. you also learnt he was decently fluent in Japanese, which surprised you.
“you know Japanese?” you say a little in shock and awe.
“yeah, I learnt it so that I didn’t have to keep staring at the subtitle and just actually concentrate on the anime I was watching. took a long time though but it was worth it at the end. i’m still learning more phrases.”
“that’s so cool!”
“ありがとうございます (thank you).” jay replies.
“you sound like a local. i’m impressed. did riki ever accidentally speak to you in Japanese?”
“he did. maybe once or twice. i understood what he said so it was fine.”
“well, you sound natural. maybe even better than me in Japanese.” you say.
jay laughs. his laughter was truly adorable. you couldn’t help but melt at it. it made you realise that being alone with jay made you feel super comfortable. due to your past experiences with disgusting guys in japan. you couldn’t stay alone with any guy without feeling unsafe. that of course did not include ni-ki, he was your brother after all, and heeseung.
and now, currently after having a heartfelt conversation at the cafe for a long time, the sun had set. you and jay were walking around the park and towards the campus grounds. there was a cyclist coming closer to the both of you so jay grabs your hand and pulls you to the side so you wouldn’t crash into the cyclist.
“oh. thank you, I didn’t realise there was someone.” you say. jay snorts.
“maybe, you shouldn’t aimlessly walk with your eyes closed.” he squeezes your hand since he was still holding it.
“I was enjoying my peace. the night feels cool and nice so why not, you know? besides, it’s the weekends tomorrow. I just need a small breather before I have to go back to sitting in my bedroom and painting.”
jay hums. the both of you continued to walk with your hands intertwined. neither of you minded and really remembered that jay’s hand was still interlocked with yours. in fact, it actually felt comfortable like it was meant to be.
was this fate?
right as those 3 words popped into your thoughts, jay’s phone rings. he answered it with his other hand still walking with you hand in hand. you had kept quiet, just listening in to his conversation with whoever it was.
“I’m doing fine. mmm, I’ll try to visit you guys during summer break. no. I don’t have a girlfriend.” it caught your attention. you knew jay was a good looking guy, tons of girls would’ve loved to talk to him so why doesn’t he have a girlfriend.
“mom, I know you’re worried about me. I can handle it. I’m only 22 this year. yes, I’m doing well in college as per usual.” he chuckles slightly. “I don’t want to go on a blind date, mom. I want to find my own girlfriend. someone that understands me and likes what I do.”
his eyes met with yours as he finishes his words. your heart stops. you nearly had a heart attack because why would jay just stare at you as he finishes his sentence. what did that mean? there is no way he likes you…right? it was too early! he can’t like you that way.
jay finishes up his call with his mom. he places his phone back in his pocket and turns to face you. “so what are you thinking of doing during our summer break?”
“mmm, I’m not sure. I haven’t thought about it. probably more streaming.”
“do you wanna stream with me? I probably wouldn’t go out much during the break.”
“I thought you were going to visit your parents?”
“I am but we could stream together after I visit them.”
“you aren’t staying for a week?”
“my parents are usually busy, they travel around a lot so they’ll probably fly out a day or two after I visit them.” jay explains. you hummed.
“me and riki would would definitely be free.”
“perfect. I could ask the others if they’d like to play too.”
finally, you had arrived in front of your dorm’s apartment building. unfortunately, jay lets go of your hand. the warmth was all gone and you already missed it.
“rest well and don’t overdo yourself. I know it’s tempting for you to just continue doing your artwork but you need to rest.”
“yes, jay. I know. I won’t overdo myself.”
“that’s my good girl.” he ruffles your hair. “well, I have to go. the boys probably would expect me to come back soon. they can’t survive without me. the dorm would’ve burnt down by now.” jay jokes.
you laughed, “alright. before you go, can I ask you something?”
“sure.”
“can we stream tomorrow?”
“of course.”
you had stepped forward and quickly left a peck on jay’s cheek before bolting in to your apartment building. jay holds the cheek that you had left a kiss on as he watches your figure growing smaller. a stupid smile adorning his face, he was smitten.
you had opened your front door after taking an elevator up to the floor. it slams shut as you entered it and laid your back against it. your heart racing quickly, the heat flaming against your cheeks.
“oneechan, what are you doing?” ni-ki appears at the hallway, his eyebrow raised as he looks at you in question.
“oh my god, I- riki, why are you walking so softly. when did you stand there?” you say as you were flustered.
“I was about to walk to the kitchen but I heard the front door slam. what happened?”
“nothing. just went out.”
“was there another stalker?” his voice sounding a little serious.
“oh, no no. no stalker, just umm i saw a flying cockroach outside.” you lied. the worry in ni-ki’s eyes dissipated, it was quickly replaced with fear.
“we really have to move. oneechan, I’m going to find us an apartment that’s better than here and is equally as near to school.”
“umm, we don’t have to.”
“I don’t care, I’m paying for the rent. you don’t need to worry.”
“riki!”
“consider this as a big early birthday present.” ni-ki skips over to you and pecks your cheek. “only the best for you big sis!”
you had to tiptoe to pat his head, “you have to stop spending money on me, riki. I can buy things on my own.”
“not until you get that streamer money.”
“well, can you really blame me for joining an art course because it’s my passion?”
“not at all, oneechan! you just have to not feel bad every time me and yvette noona want to pay something for you.”
“but I’ll owe you guys.” you pout.
“shhhh.” ni-ki grabs you and pushes you towards your bedroom door. “you don’t have to feel bad, I’ll do anything for you and any one of my friends! trust me, I’ll even ask sunoo hyung for house hunting advice.”
“is he even a reliable source-” ni-ki stops pushing you to your bedroom when you reach the middle of your room.
“he is a very reliable source. now, get some rest! I’ll find a house by the morning and then confirm stuff by next week. we’ll be in a new apartment in two weeks time.” ni-ki blows a kiss to you and shuts the door.
you sighed. ni-ki was an amazing younger brother and you love him to the moon and back. he’s a one of a kind brother, anyone would want him. however, you felt so burdened by the fact that you felt like you owe something to him. you knew he didn’t care if you paid back or not and he always treats you. it’s just the guilt creeping up on you.
you looked down at your phone and glanced at the lockscreen, it was a baby photo of ni-ki. everything you did was for him. your parents could always trust you with ni-ki and vice versa. with them running a company back in Japan, it was hard for them to come home. hence, you had to grow up for ni-ki. of course, your parents were grateful. they always brought both you and ni-ki out as a little treat. it wasn’t a surprise when ni-ki wanted to fly out to Seoul with you to go college. he’s a constant in your life and your parents knew that. hence, they didn’t say no to ni-ki and allowed him to take the same flight as you.
you had taken a shower quickly and changed into your pyjamas before deciding that you had to sleep. you had to continue up painting before streaming again tomorrow. just as you dried your hair and then threw yourself on the bed, you can’t help but remember what you did when you came home. you hid your face behind the pillows.
as for jay…
he was busy giggling and kicking his feet in his bedroom. jake and sunghoon were confused as to why jay was just mindlessly walking to his bedroom and then they heard a ‘girlish’ giggle from jay’s room. both jake and sunghoon looked at each other in shock.
“he’s gone insane.” sunghoon says. jake nods.
“didn’t he go out with (name) just now?” jake asks.
slowly the put the pieces together, sunghoon’s eyes widened. “we’ve truly lost him.”
“that man is a fucking simp.” both sunghoon and jake say at the same time.

Hot Knife
Posting just a snippet here of a one-shot I wrote while work was super slow the past few days and I had this song stuck in my head non-stop (Hot Knife by Fiona Apple). It's omegaverse, which I know is not everyone's cup of tea, so you have been warned! Full tags on AO3.
Read the full fic on AO3
Rating: Explicit | Relationship: Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson, mentions of Chrissy Cunningham/Robin Buckley | Tags: AU No Upside Down, AU Omegaverse, AU College, AU Modern Setting, full tags on AO3
I'm a hot knife, I'm a hot knife
I'm a hot knife, he's a pat of butter
If I get a chance, I'm gonna show him that
He's never gonna need another, never need another
“Him,” Steve said confidently, nodding across the dining hall at a gangly man with a mess of long brown hair who looked like he'd just walked out of a Mötley Crüe show.
“ Eddie Munson ?” Robin asked, nearly spitting out the mouthful of soda she'd just taken.
“Is that his name?” Steve asked, watching as the man - Eddie - nearly tripped over his own feet walking to a table.
“He's not exactly your type, Steve,” Robin replied.
“I smelled him in the elevator. He's my type.”
“Okay, but he's, like, a huge fucking nerd. He's a music major. He plays Dungeons and Dragons. And he's in a heavy metal band.” She just kept listing things, like it was going to do anything to change Steve's mind.
He waved a hand at her dismissively. “Don't care,” he said, still watching. Eddie was talking to the other people at his table now, gesturing vigorously with his hands then throwing his head back and laughing loud enough that Steve could hear it across the dining hall.
“If you start something with Munson your swim team friends are finally gonna actually disown you,” Robin said. “You being friends with me was bad enough.”
“Yeah, I think I’m at the point where I’m okay with that. They’re boring.” He had spent his sophomore year becoming increasingly annoyed with his teammates, who seemed to want to stay mired in the same types of people and pastimes they’d experienced in high school. He had enjoyed it during his first year, it had been nice to have continuity and had made the transition to college less jarring, but now he found he was looking for something more , and they all wanted to stay the same.
He had met Robin in one of his classes, a geeky girl who had no interest in sports beyond what she observed from her section in the marching band, but she constantly made him laugh, and she was an omega, his first real omega friend. He had always been the only omega on the swim team, a bit of a freak of an omega given his large size and muscle mass. The other guys on the team had a tendency to completely forget about his designation, given the scent patches he wore all the time.
“I’m gonna go talk to him,” Steve announced, pushing his chair back.
Robin shrugged. “Your funeral,” she said, and Steve rolled his eyes. He knew he was a very attractive and charismatic man, Eddie would probably be excited to be approached by him.
Steve walked over to the table, Eddie still deep in conversation with his friends as he approached, not even looking up at Steve. A couple of his friends glanced up with confused looks on their faces, but Eddie just continued holding court.
Steve sat in an empty seat directly across from Eddie, who finally acknowledged his existence. “What do you want, jock boy?” Eddie asked, derision evident in his tone. “I don’t sell to athletes, that’s a surefire way to get expelled while you just get a slap on the wrist.”
Oh, he was a drug dealer. Robin had left that bit out of her list. “I’m not here to buy,” Steve said, holding out a hand. “I’m Steve Harrington.” He hit Eddie with his best bedroom eyes. He knew Eddie couldn’t smell him through the scent patch, but surely he’d heard of Steve Harrington, omega swim team superstar.
Eddie just stared at Steve’s hand, not extending his own. “Can I help you with something, Harrington?” He sounded annoyed. “Or are you just here to stare and interrupt our conversation?”
Okay, that was unexpected. This was not going the way Steve had expected. He typically had no trouble picking up alphas, in fact they tended to be the ones throwing themselves at Steve. He could deal with this, though. Just a little pushback. He’d try again when there weren’t so many people around, maybe Eddie was just shy.
“No, just wanted to introduce myself,” Steve said, smiling.
Eddie waited for a moment then waved his hand away from the table. “Well, introduction done. Run along, jock boy.”
Steve stood, walking back over to Robin who had dissolved into snorting laughter at the table.
“Oh my god, you just got shot down so hard,” she said between laughs. “How’s it feel, King Steve?”
“He must not get subtlety, I might need to be more explicit,” Steve said, refusing to let his confidence take a hit.
Robin wiped a few tears away from her eyes. “Sure, Steve. It definitely couldn’t just be that there’s one alpha out there in the world that won’t immediately whip their knot out for you at the first sign of interest.”
***********
Eddie wasn’t sure what Harrington had been doing talking to him, if not to buy drugs. Maybe he was still angling for that, just trying not to scare Eddie away. Eddie knew who he was; everyone knew who Harrington was. Not just the golden boy of the swim team, but an omega with a pussy made of gold, to hear some of the alphas talk.
He was also a cocky asshole too convinced of his own importance, and Eddie didn’t want to have anything to do with him.
“What did Harrington want?” Gareth asked, like he hadn’t been sitting there right next to Eddie through the whole conversation.
“Don’t know, don’t care,” Eddie said, and looped the conversation back around to what they had been talking about before, the upcoming campaign for the D&D club. He didn’t want to waste any more breath on that man.
************
Steve really tried to give up on Eddie after that first flop, but he found he couldn't stop thinking about him. When he'd caught a whiff of him in the elevator it had triggered the strongest response he'd ever had to a scent. The most immediately noticeable notes of his scent were pretty typical alpha scents, something in the woody family with cloves mixed in, but underneath that Steve could catch hints of something sweeter, possibly jasmine, maybe even vanilla. Not typical alpha scents. Layered underneath all of that was just a hint of patchouli. A thoroughly sophisticated scent.
He'd tried to describe all of this to Robin to explain why he wouldn't give up yet, but she found his hyperfixation on scents in general annoying, and even though she was an omega she had never been able to pick apart a scent as well as he could. Robin's lack of interest notwithstanding, he was too intrigued to give up after just one miss.
As luck would have it, after swim practice the next day he found himself in the mailroom at the same time as Eddie,  who was filling in the address on an envelope. It seemed like Eddie never wore scent patches; Steve was once again surrounded by his scent as soon as he walked into the mailroom. Eddie didn’t even look up as Steve walked in and grabbed his mail.
“Hello,” Steve said when it became clear Eddie wasn’t going to acknowledge him.
Eddie looked at him, frowning, and his scent went a little sour. “What do you want?” he asked.
“Just… saying hi,” Steve said awkwardly, not sure how this man kept robbing him of his typical charm.
“Alright, you’ve completed your task, run along,” Eddie said, waving a hand toward the door. The hostility was a bit shocking to Steve, who had always managed to skate through life liked by everyone around him.
“Did I do something to you at some point that I don’t remember?” Steve asked, perplexed.
Eddie sighed and rolled his eyes. “No, Harrington. I just have very little time for drug seeking rich boys who could get me expelled if I sell to them.”
“I’m not looking for drugs,” Steve protested. “I’m just trying to talk to you.”
“Sure, sure,” Eddie said, looking like he very much did not believe Steve. He finished writing on the envelope and threw it into the mail slot, brushing past Steve as he left the mail room, not even saying goodbye.
Steve was honestly a bit shocked. He didn’t think anyone had ever been that mean to him, especially not anyone he was showing interest in. He was really going to have to step up his game.
************
“Steve, you forgot your scent patch again,” Robin said as he sat next to her in the dining hall.
“I didn’t forget it,” he replied. “I intentionally didn’t put one on.”
Robin furrowed her brow. “I thought you stopped needing to do that to get laid a while ago.”
Steve sighed. “I thought so, too. But it appears there are still some people resistant to the powers of my scentless charm and reputation.” He looked over at the table where Eddie was sitting with his friends.
“What do you know about him?” he asked Robin, nodding toward Eddie.
Robin looked over her shoulder, following his gaze and sighing. “Really? You're still on this?”
“Yes, I’m still on this.”
“Is this just one of those things where you feel slighted by his rejection so now you need to relentlessly pursue him just to prove you can?”
“No, I told you. It’s his scent.”
Robin made a frustrated noise. “You are so weird about scents, Steve. I mean, I’m an omega, too. I have a nose. He just smells like an alpha. Maybe like an alpha who spent too long in a New Age bookstore, but not in a compelling way.”
“Well he wouldn’t smell that good to you . I think we’re scentmates,” he declared, but Robin only rolled her eyes.
“Okay, first, those don’t exist. Second, you claim you’ve found your scentmate at least once a semester, yet you never seem to want to keep them around after the novelty wears off. Doesn’t seem like a fated pair situation to me.”
“None of those were real! This time it is.” He was well aware of how ridiculous he sounded, but it was true. Sure, he’d really liked the way all those other people had smelled, but this was much more visceral. He felt drawn to Eddie in a way he had never experienced before.
“Okay, Steve,” Robin said with a long-suffering sigh.
The person sitting next to Eddie stood to leave, and Steve took his chance. He stood up and walked over, sitting down next to Eddie. “Hi Eddie,” he said, leaning in as close as he could without risking a punch to the face, so Eddie could get a good whiff.
Eddie turned to him and glared, but Steve could see his nostrils flare and his eyes widen incrementally before his face snapped back into neutrality. “This is getting old, Harrington. If you don’t want drugs then could you please tell me what you do want so I can never speak to you again?”
Not a promising response, but at least he’d gotten a little bit of a reaction. “Just wondering if you’re free this weekend,” Steve said. “There’s a party at the Sigma Chi house.”
Eddie laughed in his face, stopping when Steve frowned. “Christ, are you serious? Absolutely not, I wouldn’t be caught dead at a frat party.”
Okay, yeah, maybe Steve had miscalculated there, it was just the first thing he thought of. “Right. They’re not great. What do you usually do for fun on the weekends?”
“What is this conversation?” Eddie asked, looking more confused than pissed off at this point. “What is your aim here, Harrington? Is this like some sort of prank with your jock buddies?”
Steve made an exasperated noise. “I don’t even hang out with them anymore outside of practice and meets. Not sure if you’ve noticed but I pretty much just spend all my time with Buckley now,” he said, motioning towards Robin.
“I haven’t noticed, because I do not give two shits about you. I don’t even give one shit. No shits are given. Now go away and stop bothering me, you’re putting me off my food.” He pointedly turned his back on Steve, who got up and walked away, a little shell-shocked. He heard a few snickers from Eddie’s friends.
Plopping down next to Robin, Steve put his head on his arms. “That didn’t look like it went well,” Robin said, patting Steve on the back. “Was he not immediately entranced by your luscious scent?”
Steve half-heartedly threw an elbow at her. “I could tell he noticed it, but it didn’t help. I think he really doesn’t like me.”
Robin made a sympathetic noise. “This must be very new for you, to not be liked.”
“It is,” Steve whined, sounding pitiful even to his own ears.
“I mean, you have to admit. You probably have, like, nothing in common with him,” Robin said.
“How can I know that if he won’t even talk to me?”
“Okay, fair,” Robin admitted.
“What do you know about him?” Steve asked, picking up his head.
“I already told you everything I know - D&D, heavy metal, and music school. You are interested in none of those things.”
“I could be, though,” Steve said. “Does his band actually have gigs?”
Robin sighed. “I don’t know, Steve. Are you seriously going to keep pursuing this?”
“Yes, absolutely. I will not back down from a challenge.”

My Person(knj x reader)
Pairing: Kim Namjoon x black!female!reader
Word Count: 8K+
Warnings: fluff, established relationship but the first part is how you met, I’m not very good at dialogue but I tried to make them have funny conversations, (18+ but I don’t control what you consume.) Smut, unprotected sex(please stay safe and have conversations with every sexual partner you have!), vaginal sex, slight anal play(he sticks his thumb in readers-), squirting, rough sex, soft dom Namjoon, slight breath play, strength kink(bc look at Namjoon), spanking(he’s obsessed with reader’s ass), reader is dark skinned and curvy, reader also has piercings(ears, belly button) and dark stretch marks, mentions of micro aggressions and discrimination but not much. I didn’t have a specific Namjoon in mind for this except that he’s buff so imagine him as whatever you like!
A/N: Hi! This is my first time posting on tumblr. I don’t know how to work it very well but I’m getting there. If anyone has any tips, please tell me! This story is for all of my black army’s, more specifically my dark skinned ones. I love fan fiction but I hardly see myself in the stories. I don’t blush, my hair is tightly coiled, I wear braids, I have dark stretch marks and I know that’s true of so many army’s out there. No hate to any writers. I hope to be a voice for all of my melanated readers out there. Please enjoy my first attempt! Any criticism is accepted and feel free to pop in to talk! Thank you💜
Namjoon met you at a popular club in downtown Seoul. It was his birthday and his friends wanted to take him out to get “shit faced drunk”. Jimin’s words, not his. He wasn’t much of a drinker. Don’t get him wrong, he wasn’t a lightweight or anything, his college years had built his immunity. He just wasn’t very interested in risking his liver every weekend like most of his friends did. It still baffled him how Jimin was in perfect health. He’s seen that guy pound back shots without flinching and he could still stand up straight.
Instead, he enjoyed quiet nights in reading while sipping tea or cultivating his small garden. Call him a nerd or a homebody, he didn’t care. It’s what he enjoyed and that was perfect for him.
Still, he was young so of course he liked going out with his friends. He was turning 26 and not getting any younger. These were his prime years to go out and party like no tomorrow before his mother started pushing him to settle down and get married. Not that he didn’t want to but he wanted to find love naturally, not by some meet up that his mother would arrange. She’s already sent a few young women his way but none of them worked out. They were all nice women but they just didn’t click.
The music was bumping, speakers shaking the ground underneath his feet. The atmosphere didn’t feel like the shoddy bars they used to go to back in college. This one was more sophisticated. Honestly, Namjoon was expecting something more…..unhinged. Considering Jimin and Taehyung planned this, he was fully expecting strippers or maybe tigers in cages.
“Come on, I got us a section upstairs.” Jimin yelled over the music, guiding them through the bodies and past the multiple tables and other sections filled with other club goers. The club was packed with people dressed to the nines; Rolex watches, Gucci purses. And was that someone wearing a Givenchy necklace? He swore he heard Taehyung saying just how expensive that thing was.
“How did you get us a section? Isn’t this place super exclusive?” Jungkook asked as he checked out one of the bottle girls that sauntered past.
They reached the top of the black carpeted staircase—there were multiple sections up on the balcony, most already occupied by other groups. They all seemed to be having fun taking shots, dancing, and snapping videos on their phones.
The section Jimin reserved was behind a black curtain. Hoseok let out an impressed whistle at the decor. “This place is awesome. Nice work, Jimin. Who’d you have to bang to get us here?”
Jimin just winked and held a finger to his lips. “Don’t worry about that. This is about Namjoon. Let’s order some bottles!”
The night was in full swing. A few rounds of “necessary” shots served by scantily clad bottle girls, including the one Jungkook checked out earlier. He made sure to slip her some extra cash along with his phone number just in case.
“Make sure you girls give the birthday boy here some extra attention.” Taehyung said, clapping Namjoon on the shoulder. Those words immediately made Namjoon feel nervous. While it was his birthday, that didn’t mean he wanted all eyes on him, especially from a lot of attractive women.
One of the girls leaned over to pour him a drink, her mascara coated eyelashes fluttering at him and her red stained lips lifting in a flirty smile. He gulped down a block in his throat, suddenly feeling shy. This woman was very beautiful but he doubted she was actually interested in him. It was her job to act this way and he didn’t want to assume anything just because she batted her eyelashes at him.
He threw back a shot of tequila given to him by Hoseok, the liquid burning as it went down and his face turning but he felt himself loosen up a bit.
Hoseok must have noticed his facial expression because he let out a laugh. “Hey, remember last time you had tequila?”
Yoongi, who had been expectedly quiet during this trip, suddenly slammed his hand down on the table. “Don’t bring that up.” He glared, dark eyes staring right into Hoseok’s soul. Hoseok mimed zipping his lips and throwing away the key. He was not about to poke that sleeping bear.
Namjoon laughed at their interaction. They all knew about that and no one ever mentioned it. Being a law major, Yoongi knew a lot of things about the legal system. A lot of things…..which probably meant he knew how to effectively get away with a crime….
He’d never do that though….right?
“Hey! Are you drinking tequila?” Seokjin exclaimed, drunkenly stumbling over to them. He was such a lightweight. Hoseok was too but the difference was that where Hoseok got quiet while drunk, Seokjin got loud.
Loud and loose lipped.
“Remember in college when both of you compared your dicks” a hiccup broke up his words, “took photos, and then accidentally sent them to Ms. Choi? And then she sent a nude back?” He guffawed a laugh, throwing an arm over a fuming Yoongi’s shoulder. If bodies could generate explosive heat from anger, Seokjin would be on fire right now. And if he didn’t die from that, Yoongi’s ice cold glare would surely freeze him.
Yoongi stood up, brushing his hyung off, mumbling something about whiskey before exiting the section.
Namjoon and Hoseok looked at each other before bursting in laughter—a confused Seokjin whining for his buddy to return.
All that laughter must have pushed his bladder to its limit. “I’m going to the bathroom. I’ll be back.”
He made his way down the stairs, almost bumping into a girl carrying a tray of drinks on the way. Whew, that tequila must be getting to him. Ah, who is he kidding? He would have fully crashed into that girl completely sober. Does alcohol straighten out his normal clumsiness? He could test that theory later.
For now, bathroom.
After relieving himself, quickly since he accidentally walked in on two men incredibly close to penetration, he tried making his way back to the stairs. He passed the dance floor, seeing all of the packed bodies dancing and having a good time. He wasn’t much of a dancer but it looked like fun. Maybe when he got back to his friends, he’d suggest it. He knew Jimin and Hoseok would be down, Jungkook too. Yoongi had probably disappeared to the bar but they all knew he’d be against it.
Seokjin would……
Wow…
All thoughts about his friend’s willingness to dance were cut off when he caught sight of you.
You were absolutely stunning, a stand out in this overcrowded place full of drunken rich kids. The shiny decorations and strobe lights seemed dim in comparison to your effervescent beauty.
The silky expanse of your golden sepia brown thighs made him clench his fists, fingers tingling to sink into the plush fat. You crossed one knee high boot clad leg over the other, your ass practically smothering the little bar chair under you. Your cheek rested on your palm, deep brown eyes staring listlessly into the fruity drink in front of you. You were scrolling through your phone, manicured finger slowly tapping on the screen. Now that he looked more closely, you seemed…..down.
Were you alone? Why did you seem so upset in a place like this?
You must have felt eyes on you because you turned your head, locking eyes with him. His breath got caught in his throat. Your front profile was even more ethereal than your side; your skin was dewy and glittery, sparkling under the lights. Full lips outlined in black with a clear gloss over them, smokey eyeshadow made your eyes look even more captivating, and your hair was long and in braids he’s only seen in old school hip hop videos he used to watch.
You tossed your braided hair over your shoulder, the tips ending just below your thighs, eyes focused solely on him.
Your staring contest was cut short when someone threw an arm over his shoulders. He startled, quickly whipping his head around. His pounding heart calmed at the sight of Jimin.
Jimin leaned closer to almost yell in his ear. “Why are you just standing here? Let’s go dance!”
Namjoon nodded, about to follow Jimin but he couldn’t help but look back towards where that mysterious person was just sitting. Only to find you gone. He felt a slight pang of disappointment. Where had you gone? Did you leave? His eyes searched the crowd but he didn’t find you. He didn’t have a lot of time to think about it before Hoseok and Jungkook joined them, dragging him to the dance floor, their laughter almost as loud as the music.
Dancing had pretty much made him forget about you. While you were very gorgeous, he doubted you’d ever cross paths again. It was just a small connection in a club, it wouldn’t go anywhere.
He made his way off the dance floor, sweat rolling down the back of his neck and throat dry. He ran his fingers through his sweaty hair, letting out a breath once he made it to the bar.
“Can I get a water please?” He asked the bartender who nodded and moved to take another order.
As he waited, his eyes scanned the other people at the bar—the counter was a large circle that took up a lot of surface area, tall shelves held most of the alcohol, a draft beer tap area just in front of him.
Something moved to the left of him so he innocently looked to the side. And the alluring eyes that stared back at him caught him by surprise.
It was you again.
He almost couldn’t believe you had appeared before him once again, closer and looking directly at him. Now that you were so close, he could appreciate just how absolutely striking you were. Your lashes were long and delicate, a helix piercing in your right ear, a chain hanging from it that connected to the second piercing in your earlobe. He also spotted the cutest little mole under your left eye.
He didn’t even realize he was staring until the bartender placed his water in front of him, the feeling of the cold glass pressing against his hand breaking him from his frozen state. He blinked his eyes frantically, averting his gaze to his glass of water.
How embarrassing. He must have looked like a creep staring at you and the last thing he wanted to do was make you uncomfortable.
“Can I get a strawberry virgin margarita please?”
He was surprised at how light and airy your voice was. It didn’t quite match your dark clothes and leather boots but he guessed that was just one surprise about you. He wondered if you had any more.
“Water, huh? You a lightweight?”
He didn’t answer at first. Were you talking to him? You must be. He was the only one with a glass of water across this entire bar.
Chuckling, he shrugged his shoulder, not noticing how her eyes focused on his muscles. “My throat was dry. Alcohol actually dehydrates you.” He instantly regretted saying that. Bore you with random facts, that’ll keep you interested. Clearing his throat, he motioned to the drink the bartender had just placed in front of her. “How about you? Drinking something that looks like alcohol without any actual alcohol seems more like lightweight behavior.”
That made you laugh, the sound hitting his ears and itching his brain in the best of ways. The sight of your sparkling teeth and the way your eyes crinkled at the ends made his heart speed up. You were captivating, he almost couldn’t take his eyes off of you.
It was your turn to shrug, index finger twirling the straw. “I guess I just like to feel adventurous while still keeping my inhibitions. Alcohol affects the prefrontal cortex first, the part of the brain that controls impulse, judgement and reasoning.”
His mouth dropped open in shock. Did you just….?
You bashfully giggled, eyes focusing on the designs on your oval, manicured nails. “Sorry. That was kind of weird to say, huh?”
He shook his head so hard that his neck could have cracked. “No! Not at all. I didn’t even know that. That’s really interesting.”
Your shy smile made you all the more endearing. “Is it? My friends say I’m kind of a bore.”
He smiled back at you. “Mine do too but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having a healthy dose of knowledge. Facts like that can save lives.”
“I’m y/n.”
“Namjoon. It’s a pleasure.”
Sitting and talking with you, Namjoon learned a lot about you. You were a 24 year old foreigner who moved here 2 years ago to attend Seoul University, a full ride scholarship under your belt. You taught yourself Korean through books and the nice lady at a grocery store from your hometown. You loved mangoes and hated ketchup, your favorite number was 4—and when you were 5, you accidentally walked followed the dolphin trainers at the aquarium and almost drowned. Now you were afraid of open bodies of water.
Namjoon also found you to be incredibly optimistic, charismatic, and sweet. He was absorbed in every word that passed your glossed lips, falling a little deeper with each shy giggle and tug of your ear that you did whenever you said something embarrassing. You were so adorable and Namjoon found himself wanting to hear more about you.
Currently, you two were laughing about a story Namjoon was telling you.
“No way!”
He nodded his head. “It’s true.“
You wiped a tear from your eye, laughter reducing itself to little giggles. “How do you fail a driver’s test 6 times? There should be a limit.”
“Yeah. The driving instructor knew me by name. My mom even invited him over for dinner when I finally passed. Apparently, he also had a bet going on with his friends on how many tries it would take me.”
Your laughter picked up again. “I’d make that bet too.”
“Hey, I’m not that bad.” He pouted. “I’ve never gotten pulled over or a ticket. I even keep both hands on the wheel.”
You leaned your cheek against your palm, much like how you did when he first laid eyes on you. This time, however, your eyes weren’t bored or sad—they were filled with mirth and light. He wanted to see you like that all the time.
“So what are you doing out tonight? Did you come with friends?”
He noticed how your eyes kind of dimmed, fingers lifting to tug at your ear again. A sense of panic immediately flooded his stomach. Oh no, had he offended you? And the conversation was going so well too.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you upset.”
Your eyes lifted to his, mouth slightly dropping open. “Oh! No, you didn’t offend me.” You waved your hands around. “It’s a honest question. I did come here with friends but I think they ditched me.”
He didn’t know these so called friends but right now, he wanted nothing more than to give them a piece of his mind for leaving you alone.
“What assholes. They don’t sound like very good friends.”
Your eyes casted to the watch on his wrist and then up to meet his eyes once again. “No. I guess they aren’t.”
“I’d never leave you alone like that. I’d at least have the courtesy to leave a text or something. It’s dangerous to go anywhere alone this late.” He didn’t even realize he was rambling or the frustration that was building in his chest.
A soft hand on his arm stopped him from his rant, his eyes meeting yours. The brown irises sparkled, a gentle smile on your face that made heat rise to the tips of his ears.
“Thank you, Namjoon. You sound like a really good friend. I’d love to have a friend like you looking out for me.”
The sincerity of your words made him feel all warm and dizzy. He didn’t even remember why he was upset anymore, not when you were looking at him that way. Not when you were touching him so softly and definitely not when you were so close.
A sheepish smile crossed his face, dimple indenting his cheek even deeper. His hand rubbed at the back of his neck, gaze going to a random spot on the bar. “Um….yeah. I just….friends should be like family. They should look out for you. I’d…..I’d look out for you like that.”
“Thanks. That means a lot.” Your hand moved from his arm, your warmth leaving at the same time and causing him to feel cold. “But enough about me, how about you? Why are you out to tonight?”
“It’s my birthday. My friends took me out. They thought I needed a night to let loose. I normally prefer to spend my time indoors or out in nature but they thought I needed to go out and party. It is my 26th after all, not getting any younger.”
You hummed. “Well, happy birthday. I hope you’re having a nice time.”
“I am.” He looked deeply into your eyes when he said that. Your eyes widened a little, fingers twitching to rise to your ear but you pushed it the feeling down. After a few seconds of staring, you coughed, reaching for your drink to sip down the remainder of it.
He offered you another smile. “May I buy you another?”
“It’s your birthday. Shouldn’t I be offering you a drink?” That little teasing smile and tone came back. You were too cute.
“You can offer next time.”
“So there will be a next time?”
“If you allow it.”
You bit your lip, trying to force down the smile that threatened at your lips. Damn, he got you.
~
Namjoon didn’t even realize how much time had passed until his friends came searching for him. Jungkook was balancing a sleeping Hoseok on his shoulder, Seokjin and Taehyung not too far behind and stumbling all over the place.
“We’ve been looking all over for you. Where’d you go? It’s almost 3AM.” Jimin said, the only one who looked normal but judging by that glassy look in his eye, he was wasted too.
“Ah sorry. I was just speaking to someone. Got caught up.”
You gave all of the conscious men a wave, flashing a smile as well. “Hi. Sorry I hogged your friend.”
Jimin and Jungkook’s eyes almost popped out of their heads at the sight of you. They looked at each other and then at you and then at Namjoon.
Namjoon coughed, noticing the looks on their faces. Jimin was the first to smile, shaking his head at you. “No, no. It’s cool. Hog him all you like.” He flashed a look at Namjoon that read “later” before smiling again. “Yoongi hyung’s waiting outside. Can you drive your car or do you feel drunk?”
Seokjin, Taehyung, and Hoseok definitely weren’t driving anywhere. And he’d feel bad if he let the others haul the family drunkies all the way home.
And then there’s you….
He turned to you, your eyes lifting to meet his and instantly smiling.
“Do you need a ride home? Or an Uber? I’d be happy to take you or request one.”
His offer gave you a weird feeling behind your rib cage. Shaking your head, you stood to your feet. “I drove here. I’m not drunk either. I’m pretty sure I can get back.”
“Are you sure? At least let me walk you to your car. The bar’s are emptying out and I want you to be safe.”
“I’m sure. Your friends look like they need you more than I do.” You looked behind him, seeing how the broad shouldered one was trying to lay a kiss on the pierced one who was balancing a sleeping one.
Namjoon waved his hand. “They’re big boys. I’m pretty sure no one would kidnap them. They’d bring Seokjin hyung back for sure. He’d talk their ears off.”
An indignant, “hey!” came from behind Namjoon.
You let out a giggle. “I think I got it. I’m a big girl. I cross the street all the time by myself.”
Namjoon ran a hand through his hair. He was sad you had to go. He really wanted to talk to you more.
“Do you think…..I could have your number? I’d love to see you again.”
You fluttered your eyelashes at him, leaning forward a bit to crowd his space. Like this, he could smell your perfume—fruity and feminine and oh so you.
“I’d like that. Maybe you can show me what helped you succeed on try number 7.”
He playfully rolled his eyes, cheeks hurting from how hard he was smiling. Fuck, you were amazing.
You exchanged numbers, you putting his contact as Namjoon 10 And 2💜. Him putting you down as y/n🐬.
You followed him and the others outside into the breezy Seoul air. Summer was just getting ready to leave but thankfully, it was still pretty nice outside.
“I’ll see you around, Namjoon.” The way you said his name made him want to hear it more and more from your lips.
He gave you a little wave. “Bye. Get home safe.”
“You too.” Tossing your braids over your shoulder, you gave him one final look before bidding his friends goodbye and starting your walk down the street. He watched you until you disappeared from his sight, letting out a dreamy sigh when he could no longer see you.
“Well, look at you, Casanova. Didn’t know you had it in you.” Jimin teased, clapping a hand on Namjoon’s shoulder.
“Yeah. She was…..amazing.“
Taehyung stumbled over, almost falling if not for Namjoon catching him. “Awwwww, our Joonie hyung’s in loveeeeeee…”
Rolling his eyes, he helped Taehyung stand a little straighter, bearing his weight. “Come on. You can crash at my place.”
And as Namjoon laid in bed that night, he thought about just how memorable this night had been. He’d spent time with his friends, celebrated his birthday, and met the most wonderful woman ever.
His phone pinged from his bedside. Leaning over, he grabbed it and unlocked it, a smile rising to his face at the name.
y/n🐬: made it home and in bed. I tried driving with both of my hands on the wheel. I felt lame
He rolled over, arm tucking under his pillow, phone illuminating the doofy smile on his face.
It wasn’t love. Not yet.
Not yet.
~
“What are you thinking about, baby?”
He looked up from his phone, attention going to your body as you climbed on top of him. You both had finished dinner and having a shower and were now getting ready for bed. He was scrolling through his social media, timeline bringing up memories from 2 years ago. It was a photo Jungkook posted, a candid shot of them—Yoongi and Namjoon were raising their glasses to the camera, Taehyung and Jimin cheering while clinking shots together, Hoseok was staring blankly at nothing and Jungkook was cheesing hard. He doesn’t even remember this picture being taken but he can remember how he felt that night. He felt so free and happy, being with this best friends and partying like there was no tomorrow. It was great.
He connected eyes with you. God, you were just as gorgeous as the first day he met you, maybe even more. Dressed down and barefaced, he thought you were the picture of beauty and allure. Everything you did enchanted him—even something as simple as when you’d put your chopsticks in your hand one by one or the way you’d shake your arms because they’d get tired when you braided your hair.
You were perfect to him. Everything he could ever want and need. You completed him. You gave him what he lacked, supported him wholeheartedly and genuinely, and loved him in a way that he’s never felt before.
You were his person.
He showed you his phone. You observed the picture for a moment. “Isn’t that from your birthday 2 years ago? But your birthday was last week, why is it just now appearing in your memories?”
He placed his phone on the bedside table, hands going to your bare thighs since you hated wearing pants to bed. Weird since you wore socks to bed, only to take them off in your sleep but adorable nonetheless.
“Jungkook posted it a week later. It was that week after he dropped his phone in that pond.” His fingertips lightly grazed over the dark stretch marks that stretched over your thighs and love handles. He loved every inch of you. You were so confident and sure of yourself, never letting anyone’s comments diminish your glow.
You let out an “ah” of recognition. “Oh yeah. He would carry his iPad everywhere.”
Namjoon chuckled. His friend was so silly.
“That was the night we met. Has it been two years already?”
He hummed and exhaled a deep breath. “Yeah. It went by so fast.”
You leaned down to press your foreheads together, one hand coming to rest on his collarbone. Your thumb gently stroked the skin there, playing with the silver chain that sat around his throat. You remembered when he had broken the clasp on one he had before and he was actually really upset about it. He said it was a gift from an old friend that had passed away a while back. While he tried to act like it was fine, you could see just how broken up about it he was so you wanted to do something to make him happy again.
So while he was away, you took the necklace to a jewelry repair store and got the clasp replaced. You surprised him with it the next day and the look of absolute elation on his face was enough to move you. That was the first time you had seen him cry. He hugged you so tightly, his warmth seeping into your bones and tears soaking your shirt. And you held him until he had fallen asleep, the repaired necklace clasped around his neck.
It was also the first time he said he loved you, the three little words sending you to cloud 9. You loved Namjoon too. He was really the first actual friend you made since coming to Seoul. Being a foreigner, people treated you differently. If not by their micro aggressions or blatant rudeness, it was how they ignored you and treated you like you didn’t exist.
The “friends” you went to the bar with that time were classmates of yours. They were nice at the start, always asking questions about your hair and about America. You were just happy to have friends so you didn’t mind. You felt like there was a bit of a gap between you and them. Your Korean wasn’t that good when you arrived so that language barrier often made things a little awkward.
And when they invited you out to a high class bar in the nicer part of Seoul, you were happy to tag along. You didn’t leave your apartment much aside from school and work. Mainly because you were still a little uncomfortable being in a new country despite living here for close to 2 years. It kind of felt like you were just drifting around and biding your time until graduation.
But you didn’t want to do that. You were in a new country! You could make new experiences and learn new things. You should be getting out and having fun.
So you dressed in one of your most adventurous outfits and you met your friends at the bar. At first, everything was going fine. They were taking shots and pictures and you were trying to loosen up. Eventually, your friends went to dance while you went to go to the bathroom. They were gone when you returned and you couldn’t find them in the sea of people.
That’s why you were sitting alone. You were waiting for them to come back but after about an hour and a half with no update, you were getting ready to leave.
That was until you saw Namjoon. Just from across the room, you felt a connection between you both. When you saw his friends come up to him, you sighed and got up to go to the bathroom. At least his friends looked like they wanted to be around him.
A few Korean men had approached you throughout the night while you sat alone and while you tried to be nice, they were much too imposing and forceful. That’s what led you to the bar. You wanted some space and maybe one more mock tail before going home.
Seeing Namjoon again was a complete coincidence. You didn’t even notice he was at the bar until you stood next to him, your eyes instinctively looking over.
And wow….
He was so much more handsome up close—tall, broad, and those biceps looked like he could throw you around a room without breaking a sweat.
Whew…you were repressed.
Those thoughts ceased from your mind the moment you two started talking. Namjoon was wholesome and intelligent, a little bit goofy and very very lovely. Unlike most of the men you’ve encountered so far, Namjoon wasn’t pushy or sleazy—he was a gentleman, he listened to every word you said, and he kept you engaged. It almost felt a little too good to be true.
But it wasn’t. You deserved it. And so did he.
“That’s okay. At least we know we cherished every single day.”
“And I’ll cherish each one after that.”
He reciprocated your wide smile, love and adoration flooding both of your gazes.
“I love you, Namjoon.”
“And I love you.”
Your lips met in a sensual kiss. You melted further into his hold, your chests pressing against one another. His thumbs rubbed at where your panties sank into your plush hips, tilting his chin so that he could kiss you deeper.
It didn’t take long for you to start moving your hips cover his crotch, sweats being your only barrier.
He pulled away from you, both of you panting, gazes locked and stirring with desire.
“You aren’t tired from my birthday weekend? We barely made our reservation.” Namjoon recalled.
You snorted, lifting back up. “If I remember correctly, it was you who couldn’t keep it in your pants right before we walked out of the door.”
“You looked absolutely ravishing in that dress. Did you see your ass?” Delivering a swift smack to one of your cheeks and then squeezing the burning skin. He was obsessed with your ass. It was perfect for your hips and thighs, perfectly round and it rippled in the most delicious of ways whenever he slapped it. Not to mention, it filled out whatever you wore; skirts, dresses, jeans….You in jeans should be considered a world wonder. For his eyes only though.
You didn’t try to fight down your grin. “Me? Did you see your arms in that dress shirt? I was ready to ride you the moment you buttoned it up.”
Biting his lip, his fingers went under the band of your panties. “Why don’t you ride me now? Give me a demonstration.”
Your eyes darkened at the feeling of his hardening cock pressing into your covered heat.
“I’ll give you more than that.”
Leaning forward again, you placed a sweet peck to his lips before trailing down to his throat. You sucked and nipped at the skin there, careful not to leave any marks too high that would show over his collar. Good thing the base of his neck and his collarbone were open and safe for marking.
He let out a sigh at the feeling, body shivering when you ran your lips over his soft spot. Lifting up to study your work and feeling satisfied at the darkening marks across his chest, you began kissing your way down his body. He’s been spending more time in the gym so the flat expanse of his tummy was starting to harden, light abs beginning to form. You loved feeling the hard muscle, your manicured fingertips ghosting over them. He sighed again, stomach seizing up a little at your touch.
Finally, you reached your destination. Eyes hungrily taking in the large bulge in his black briefs. Your hand raised to rub over it, feeling his cock jerk slightly from your touch. Reaching for the band of his underwear, you tugged them down, him lifting his hips to help you. Once the stupid fabric was tossed to the floor, you got to take in the thick and throbbing cock in front of you—a lush pink tip with veins running all over it and precum leaking from the tip. Delicious.
Licking your lips, you ran your tongue over the underside, all the way to the tip where you sucked him into your mouth. His legs tensed up, sighing at the feeling. Finally.
Your tongue flicked under the head of his cock, his most sensitive spot. His hand lifting to rest on your head, making sure to be gentle since he knew your scalp was still a little sore from your new hairstyle. He remembers coming home from work to find you in the bathroom laying down your baby hairs. When he left that morning, you were in your natural hair, the tight coils refreshed and bouncy. He loved any hairstyle you had and he thought it was amazing that you could transform it into so many ways. Throughout the summer, you had been wearing it more naturally and on his birthday weekend, you installed a beautiful honey blonde wig that he really liked.
Now, you were in shoulder blade length boho braids. You had sat in the bathroom for hours following a YouTube tutorial, arms constantly getting tired and a few of the braids turning out a little wonky but in the end, you thought they looked good. It was a good try. And when Namjoon came home, his eyes brightening and compliments flowing, you felt even more beautiful.
And much like right now, you had given him the blowjob of his life that day.
One hand grabbing his shaft, you pursed your lips to drool spit on his tip before sucking him back into your mouth. You did that a few more times to fully slick up his cock, hand pumping up and down his shaft.
“Fuck. Come on, baby. Stop teasing.”
Humming around his cock, you took him all the way down, relaxing your throat to swallow him all the way. His back arched, the warm heat of your mouth feeling absolutely amazing. Lots of practice made you a master at deepthroating his cock. Before, you could barely go down halfway without gagging but now, you could take him to the hilt without flinching.
You bobbed your head up and down his cock, both hands digging into his strong thighs as a balance. You hollowed your cheeks when you came up, cupping your tongue along the underside of his cock. You wanted him to feel absolutely every sensation and god damn, he did.
His eyes he didn’t realize were even closed finally opened, head lifting to look down at you. Breath hitching when he saw you were already staring up at him. If there was one thing you loved, it was eye contact. The way your brown irises stared directly into his made him feel fuzzy all over.
That feeling in the base of his tummy began to form and he knew he had to stop you. “Shit, stop baby. Stop.”
You pulled off his cock with a pop, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand. Trying to regain your breath, you crawled back up to straddle his stomach, leaning over him again to kiss him. His hands grabbed at your hips, rubbing the skin there before traveling up your sides under your shirt. He tugged at the fabric, you releasing his lips to take it off—your body now revealed to him and it was the picture of perfection.
From your deep brown nipples down to the pudge of your belly where a pink belly button piercing sat to the swell of your hips. You were dazzling, the picture of femininity, goddess like. So many words yet not enough to describe you fully.
You were just perfect.
His hands ran up to your nipples, tweaking the buds and squeezing your breasts. You sighed, eyes fluttering closed at the little sparks of pleasure you felt. That pleasure went right to the space between your thighs, dampening your already soaked panties even further.
“Get up here and sit on my face, baby.” Namjoon’s deep voice ordered and who were you to deny him?
Climbing off his lap and to the side of him, he lifted up to help you out of your panties. The grey fabric was now almost black with how soaked they were. He lifted the clothing to his noise, inhaling deeply.
“Fuck.” He tossed them to the ground, dragon like eyes staring deep into your soul. His gaze sent shivers down your spine. He was so fucking sexy—hair messy and thick lips bitten red. “Get the fuck up here.”
You barely had time to move before he was grabbing your thighs and hauling you up to his face. You moaned from the movement. Okay so maybe you had a bit of a strength kink. Who wouldn’t when your man was 6’1 with biceps bigger than melons and thighs thick enough to crush your head.
And Namjoon knew it.
Now with your glistening pussy right above him, he could show you another part of his body that you loved.
Tongue swiping through your slit, he hummed at the taste. You were dripping, a single strand of wetness dripping down to hit his chin.
You grabbed the headboard once you felt his tongue graze over your clit, a light moan coming from your lips.
His lips wrapped around the bud, sucking it with enough pressure to send you reeling. His fingers dug into the meat of your thighs, one hand on your ass to hold you closer. His tongue lapped over your clit, the little bud pulsing under his ministrations.
“Ahhh, Joon….” You moaned out. He hummed against your pussy, the vibrations striking right through you.
A swift slap to your ass made you squeal. “Ride my face, gorgeous.”
Always a good girl, you adjusted your knees before you started rocking on his tongue. The rough texture stimulated your clit in the best way, the feeling of Namjoon’s hands slapping at your ass fueling you on.
Your mouth was dropped open, head tossed back as hot pleasure sparkled all across your body. That band in your stomach beginning to wind itself tighter and tighter.
Hand coming down to wrap in his hair to pull him closer, you humped against his tongue, clit feeling so sensitive yet so fucking good. Namjoon knew you were close so he moved his head with your hips, hands gripping at your ass hard enough to leave bruises.
“Oh my god! I’m cumming! Fffffff-uhhhhh….”
Your orgasm crashed into your body, pleasurable waves radiating down your spine.
He flicked his tongue against your sensitive clit until you shivered in overstimulation, sitting yourself on his chest. Both of your chests heaved, gazes locked as you came down.
“Ready for more?” You asked, eyes squinting and a teasing smile on your face.
He smirked. “I believe a demonstration was in order?”
Working your way down, you straddled his hips once again, feeling his cock press against your sopping heat. Your lips locked in another kiss, this one a little more desperate.
Reaching under yourself, you grabbed his cock in your hand, stroking him a little.
A hand came down on your ass, the burn making you moan.
“Sit on my fucking cock. Right. Now.”
His voice sent shivers down your spine but you obliged. Lining his cock with your entrance, you slid down his shaft—thick girth stretching you open in the most delicious of ways, your walls constricting around him.
Namjoon’s hands gripped at your ass, feeling like he would float away. Your pussy was so warm and squeezed around him so tightly. He’s had sex in the past but no one would ever compare to you. The way your body reacted to him, how your pretty eyes crossed a little at the feeling of his cock filling you up. He was obsessed with you.
And he wanted to be with you for the rest of his life.
Once he was all the way inside, you let out a breath.
“You feel so good.” He sighed.
You kissed him again, loving the feeling of his lips on yours. “So do you. So big.”
Your hips began moving against him, gaining a comfortable rhythm. His cock rubbed against your walls—you could feel him pulsing inside of you, the head of his cock reaching deeper inside.
His head fell back against the pillows, eyes closing as he focused on the way your pussy felt around him.
“Feel good, baby?” You whispered in his ear, sucking the lobe into your mouth. You moved back and forth against him, your breasts pressed against his chest.
“Yeah.”
Adjusting yourself, you began bouncing up and down on his cock, the wet slap of your ass against his thighs filling the room.
He slapped your ass again, using his hands to help you move against him. “That’s it. Bounce on that cock, baby.”
You moaned. “Your cock feels s-so good.” Mouth dropping open in pleasure, you began to move faster on his cock. The head was rubbing right up against that soft spot inside of you. That band was starting to tighten again. Only Namjoon could push you to orgasm so quickly. Just as much as you knew his body, he knew yours. You two were perfectly in sync.
“Turn around, baby.”
You whined from having to stop but you did what he asked, secretly loving how he bossed you around. Keeping him inside, you turned around on his cock so he could get a view of your juicy ass.
You started your rhythm back up, ass jiggling as it met his hips. Your back arched, sweat dripping down your spine and making your melanated skin glisten. His eyes were mesmerized by it, cock throbbing at the sight. Namjoon could watch you bounce on his cock forever. If he could frame it, he would. But this was for his eyes only and he liked to keep it that way.
Your hands found stability on his knees, leaning forward to bounce even harder on him. Namjoon’s hands spread your cheeks to get a full view of your pussy. He groaned at the sight of your sweet cunt wrapped around him, your viscous wetness soaking his cock, a ring of cream starting to form at the base.
“Pussy’s so good, baby. So fucking tight.”
You clenched around him at the praise, basking in his attention.
“Mmmmm. M’gonna cum again….baby….” You breathed out, head falling forward as pleasure consumed you. His cock was scrambling your brain, your entire being consumed by him. He made you feel so good, so beautiful, so utterly loved and adored that you could burst.
“Me too. Do it. Cum all over my cock.”
Thumb swiping over your puckered hole, he barely stuck the tip of it in before you were cumming all over his cock.
The feeling of your walls gripping him like vice was enough to push him over too. He spilled into your warm heat, moving you back and forth against him to ride out both of your orgasms.
But it wasn’t enough.
Before you could even come down, you were being tossed onto your back, legs being thrown up until you were folded in half. You could barely react before his lips were wrapped around your clit. His head moved side to side, slurping up all of the juices you offered.
“Ohhhhh f-fff-uhhhh! Namjoon!” Your head kept lifting to watch him and falling back into the pillow. You wanted to watch but just the sight of him between your thighs was enough to propel you to another gut wrenching orgasm. Your hips jumped against his face, his hands holding your thighs to keep you still.
He pulled away from your cunt, juices all over his chin and cheeks. The sight made your pussy clench, more wetness leaking out of you.
Keeping your legs up, Namjoon brought his hard cock back to your opening, pushing inside with no hesitation. You screamed at the intrusion, walls sporadically clenching and unclenching around him. Your lungs burned, trying to suck in air but he was punching it all out of you.
The connections in your brain were going all haywire, all of your thoughts absorbed by him and the feeling of his cock bullying your walls.
Namjoon set a punishing pace, hips pistoling in and out of you until you could almost feel him in your throat. His eyes found where you were connected, your juices and his cum spilling out in a messy mixture. Everything was so wet. He was slipping in and out of you so easily and it felt so good.
Your eyes crossed, mouth open as screams and chants of his name left you. His right hand came up to wrap around your throat, squeezing slightly—not enough to cut off your already sparse air but just enough for you to feel it. Your hands scratched at his arms, the burn fueling him further.
Namjoon couldn’t take his eyes off of you. You were truly a sight to behold. He almost wanted to tattoo this image on his eyelids. Your pleasurable state was one of his favorite sights, right next to you smiling, your ass, and that confused look you got on your face that first time you saw a pink strawberry. Strawberries were red, right?
He could feel your walls suffocating his cock once again. You were close. Incoherent ramblings fell from your lips, chants of how good he felt and how close you were. His hand released your throat, both coming up to hold onto the headboard and hips slamming into you even harder.
“N-Namjoon!” Tears welled in your eyes, overwhelming pleasure and love filling your veins. You loved him so much. He was everything to you. He was your person.
Your orgasm hit you so hard that your vision went white, ears ringing and toes curling. This orgasm was stronger than your others and it felt slightly different but very familiar.
Your walls forced Namjoon’s cock out of you, a short burst of liquid leaving your pussy. He used his cock to slap at your clit, prolonging your pleasure.
“Good girl! Squirt all over my cock.” He praised, a slightly sadistic smile spread across his face. He loved you like this—when your pleasure absolutely consumed you to the point where your body reacted this way.
A few tugs to his own cock and he came as well, spurts of cum landing on your pussy and dripping down your ass.
He slowly let your legs down, massaging your thighs. Leaning over you, he pressed a few kisses to your temple and cheeks, whispering sweet words to you as you came down.
After a few moments, you let out a hum, lifting your weak arms to wrap around his neck and pull him into a kiss.
“Are you okay?” He asked after pulling away.
“More than okay. I haven’t squirted like that in a while.”
He rubbed his nose against yours. “Mhmm. I love when you do. It’s so hot.” His softening cock rubbed against your ultra sensitive clit, your body jumping and a whine falling from your lips.
“Stop.” You whined. “I feel like my pussy is going to fall off.”
“Well, we can’t have that. Why don’t we go shower and have some cake?”
Your smile was dazzling. “That sounds amazing.”
After you were done using the bathroom and cleaning up, you went to cut the cake, not trusting Namjoon with a knife.
“Don’t want you losing any fingers. I won’t be able to live if you lost those.” You winked, giggling when he gave you a playful slap to your ass.
While you did that, he sat on the couch and went back to his phone. It was still open to the photo of his friends. Liking it, he closed out his social media and went to the page he was looking at before he opened Instagram.
The bright colored logo stared him him in the face, that feeling of anxiousness rising in his chest once again.
“I sliced some strawberries too. All fully red, as they should be.”
At the sight of you, that pressure alleviated, adoration swelling at how adorable you were.
Why was he so nervous in the first place? He couldn’t remember and for now, it didn’t matter.
All that mattered was you.
“Pink strawberries are valid.”
“They’re confusing! It’s like, why are strawberries red but strawberry candy is always pink? Then do they use pink strawberries for candy? It’s ridiculous.”
Yeah. You.
~
Staring up at the building, Namjoon inhaled a deep breath, palms feeling sweaty. The drive here had been full of nerves. He swore his hands were on 11 and 3 this time.
Calm down. Deep breath. Everything would be fine.
A kind woman greeted him at the door.
“Welcome to Euphoria Jewelers. How can I help you?”
“I want to buy a ring.”

txt meets their s/o's parents/family + how they react!
a/n: hello! I'm back again with a txt post this time! I hope you enjoy it. Again, requests are always welcomed and encouraged! I hope you enjoy this work! (ps. I don't have any siblings so I will not be mentioning them! I’m so sorry!)
Yeonjun <3
GENTLEMAN! He’s such a sweetheart and does his absolute best to win over your parents. He wants to build a close relationship with them so they can trust him to take care of you. He’s so excited when you tell him your parents want to meet him that he’s practically jumping up and down to the ceiling. He immediately starts to ask you 100 questions about what to wear, what gifts to take, what to talk about, etc… you two have a nice talk and figure out everything in the following days. You two decided to make a dessert to take and it became a little date the night before. Since you want you two for breakfast, you two wake up at a decent hour, get dressed and head out the door with everything. He makes a great impression with all the thoughtful details such as the gifts and the dessert. Trust that he’ll build a beautiful connection with them.
Soobin <3
We all know this man is a shy introvert! Just the thought of meeting your parents makes his tummy twist a little. He desperately doesn’t want to mess up their first impression of him because he wants their approval so bad! How else will he marry you someday if he has a horrible first impression?! He dresses up all cute in his little button up and slacks and fancy shoes. He orders an elegant flower arrangement for your parents and brings them some pastries from a cafe you both go to often. As you could probably already guess, he is super polite and sweet, making sure to take advantage of his doughy cheeks and gentle smile.
Beomgyu <3
Omg keep this menace away from your parents as long as possible. Jkjk. On a serious note, he would be so confident beforehand, talking up how he’s going to wow them. He dresses up casually, talking about how ‘they’ll fall in love with my personality! Why do I have to dress up?’ After some coaxing, he dresses in something a little more formal. His whole demeanor does a giant 180 when he’s driving you to their home. “Baby…what if they hate me? What if they don’t like the gifts i bought ??” cue you having to calm him and his rambling down. Once you get him to their house and he’s met them, he gets comfortable. He leaves your house with the numbers of both your parents and they start to bond, making you question if you were their child or if it was beomgyu.
Taehyun <3
An absolute dream. He’s so handsome and dreamy and responsible, aka, the definition of: guy you want to take to meet your parents. He makes sure to pick fancy presents for both of your parents and makes sure to ask your opinion on every single little detail. He decided that you both would host the meeting dinner in your shared apartment so he wanted everything to be clean and perfect (picture taehyun in a little apron the day before, making sure the apartment is spotless and well organized). You both set the table with a yummy smelling candle, pretty tablecloth and everything else needed. Taehyun and you have such a fun time setting up and cooking beforehand! Once they arrive, he makes sure they feel at home. He even got them cute little slippers to change into! He makes sure to assure them you two are doing well and that he will always take care of you. What parents wouldn’t feel comforted by those words?
Heuning Kai <3
This cutie is so excited but when the time comes, he’s extremely shy around your parents. He decided to take it upon himself to make reservations at a really nice place in town in hopes that your parents would be impressed. When it comes to his attire…you had been asking him all week what he was going to wear but he wouldn’t tell you .The day of, you find out he’s wearing A WHOLE SUIT!! You had to beg him to wear something a little less formal and he finally agreed. “Im sorry but i just don’t want to dress down and then they think they’re not important to me! I wanna look good!” You give him a compromise and you two wear matching colors. You two arrive at the restaurant and then your parents show up and he’s breaking a sweat shaking their hands, eventually just going all in for hugs. He brings them each a little individualized gift, which you helped him pick out. He is good at bringing a fun atmosphere to the table and there isn’t a single dull of awkward moment between you four.

Deconstructing Mr Darcy
My favourite character in all Austen canon is Mr Darcy. Unfortunately, as soon as I say this, everybody is like
Tumblr media
Because when I say this people think of this…
Tumblr media
And this…
Tumblr media
But that’s not why he’s my favourite character.
There is this famous quote by P.D. James in which she argues that Austen's Emma is like a predecessor of the detective novel, in the way that she sprinkles clues as to what's really going on with Frank Churchill.
And ever since, I've been reading Pride and Prejudice differently, because of course she does something similar there too.
Specifically, Austen constructs this elaborate character puzzle with Mr Darcy at its centre. Every time he and Elizabeth clash, throughout the novel, one of the central conflicts sparks up: what is Darcy really like?
Elizabeth’s early interest in him is often interpreted as sexual tension/latent attraction. I’m not saying this isn’t the case (you can argue about this). But what is evident is that her intellectual interest in characters is roused by him. Because, well, he really presents her with a tricky puzzle.
1) The mysterious man at the ball
When Elizabeth and her sisters go to the Assembly Ball at Meryton, remember, they go there to ogle Mr Bingley. He is the rich, handsome bachelor they hope to dance with when they get there.
But then they actually arrive and it’s someone else who has everyone talking. Mr Darcy. He’s the tall, handsome stranger who turns out to be much, much richer than Mr Bingley, and who gets everyone excited.
Who will he dance with?
Well, nobody because he’s like way too important to deign to notice any of them. He stoops to acknowledge that Jane, literally the most beautiful girl in the county, is somewhat pretty. But her sister is totally beneath his notice.
With this twist upon a twist, the author invites Elizabeth and the reader to abandon their first suspicion that he’s the hero and to consider him a little absurd instead. And this is a comic novel. By that point we have met multiple absurd characters, so we know this is what is to be expected from this story.
2) The cracks
The narrator hints that Darcy enjoys a good gossip with his friends and spends his free time dissecting the many ways in which the local women don’t interest him. Again, absurd, remember? Elizabeth is among the women he judges harshly, but as he sees more and more of her this happens:
Tumblr media
So the reader is now invited to some irony which Elizabeth is not privileged to enjoy. But it’s all in service of the comedy, right? Because it’s more delicious for the reader to see the contrast of how much Elizabeth is wrong about what he thinks of her.
You, the reader, have a good chuckle with the author about this, don’t you? But while you’re laughing you’re MISSING A CLUE! And it’s right there: Elizabeth is wrong about Darcy. It’s lampshading the fact that she doesn’t really understand him at all.
3) The real deal
So then we get a little closer to Darcy. Elizabeth stays with him and his friends at Netherfield to nurse her sister. As Darcy continues to admire her, and as she continues to be oblivious, one evening he approaches her and this happens:
Tumblr media
Again Elizabeth is wrong about Darcy, but here Austen adds another clue:
Tumblr media
So… the guy who has the superpower of turning any normal situation awkward makes this super awkward situation… charming?
And then Austen adds some misdirection by immediately adding:
Tumblr media
And we’re focusing on the irony that this guy is more enchanted with her the more she rejects him. And we’re a little amazed at how arrogant this guy is that he doesn’t see how much he is disliked at this moment. Almost as self-important and oblivious as Mr Collins.
And so we don’t see that… he’s nice? And I mean, an arrogant, self-important arse, as Elizabeth thinks of him, wouldn’t be nice at this point. He’d be wounded. He’d make it awkward. Importantly, he’d make it awkward for her.
It’s hard to get out of a situation like this gracefully. But he can. He knows how. He has that ability.
And this works as a bit of foreshadowing too, of course. Dancing and courtship are pretty strongly linked in Austen (and culturally in that era) and so his acceptance of her rejection in this manner lampshades his character as a lover.
But there’s so much more. That time at Netherfield is so rich in character studies, I feel like someone could write several PhD theses on that section of the book alone.
My favourite is the one that happens when Darcy and Elizabeth literally talk about characters. Miss Bingley asserts that Darcy is perfect, has no flaws. Elizabeth is delighted: this is just what she thinks Darcy thinks of himself.
Darcy says: No, I’m plenty flawed, thanks.
Elizabeth is curious now. Go on, oh prideful one, enlighten us mere mortals!
Darcy explains that he’s resentful, that he doesn’t forget or forgive easily.
Elizabeth has to admit that that’s a non-ridiculous answer. She’s disappointed, a little, because what good is that to her, since she wanted to have a good laugh at this expense? But he predicted as much and at the beginning of this conversation challenged her on this to preempt her making a joke of the whole conversation.
He wants to continue to be serious and this happens:
Tumblr media
Again, Austen’s sleight of hand: when we first read this, it sounds more like Darcy is just a misanthrope who has a negative and pessimistic attitude towards people. That’s how Elizabeth hears it too.
But he tells us himself: that’s not what he means. Elizabeth (and the reader) is misunderstanding him. And he shows us, right away, by taking her jibe in good humour right then and there.
Multiple times, Elizabeth teases or attacks him, and he’s cheerful about it. He thinks it’s kind of funny. Bingley gets a shot or two in, and Darcy takes that on the chest too.
Austen manages to create this impression of him in the reader’s mind of a guy who is angry and prideful all the time, but when we review his actions, how often is this really true?
4) Darcy through the eyes of others
In many analyses, Elizabeth is blamed for being so easily taken in and so stubbornly mistaken in Darcy, but in all fairness, look at what she has to work with!
So much of what she learns about him is through other people, and so what she knows is filtered by their interests, skewed perspectives and compromised judgements. The fawning of Caroline Bingley and Mr Collins, the hatred of George Wickham, the deference of Mr Bingley, the lack of deference from Colonel Fitzwilliam, the way Charlotte views men, the way Jane always finds good things to say about anybody, her mother’s vulgar prejudice, all of it adds to a picture of absolute confusion. And the worst offender is Darcy himself, of course, because he stubbornly refuses to clarify anything about himself, partly because he can’t and partly because he just won’t.
Darcy’s stay in Hertfordshire culminates in this exchange, at the Netherfield Ball, between Darcy and Elizabeth:
Tumblr media
5) Mr Darcy in love
Darcy really is a hard nut to crack, and in large part it’s because he makes himself hard to crack. The baseline here is pretty bad but it gets so much worse the more he loves Elizabeth and the more he is determined to hide from her.
Before, he just doesn’t care what people think of him. But now, he does care and he desperately wants them not to know that he has, annoyingly and embarrassingly, fallen head over heels in love.
Austen strings us along in this confusion until the absolute shock that comes with his proposal. Even though we as readers always knew more than Elizabeth did, and even though both we the readers and Elizabeth had tonnes of evidence and clues about Darcy and his real character, this twist comes as a complete surprise.
And because we, the readers, and Elizabeth, the protagonist, are surprised, we don’t notice another important clue. Darcy is also shocked. Like, we’re all sitting in this scene, aghast, amazed, shocked. We all came to this point following a trail of wrong clues, misdirections, misunderstandings and mistaken assumptions.
But what does this tell us about Darcy? Other than what he finally reveals through his letter, we learn that the entire time he thought Elizabeth:
Knew what she was doing, flirting with and encouraging him
Understood his prevarication
Expected a proposal
The poor man doesn’t come out of this looking good, does he? It makes him look really arrogant, self-important and big-headed. And to an extent, well, it is.
But there’s also another, kinder, reading to all this: that he’s someone who overthinks things.
There’s the conversation in Netherfield with Bingley where he deprecates those who do things rapidly as if it were a virtue. We know from other parts of the novel that he’s a bookish (he prides himself in his library), intellectual (he admires those who read), “clever” (in the narrator’s own words) guy.
Used to responsibility, used to being relied on to guide and advise people, used to solving knotty problems, Darcy approached his problem (loving a girl who is in every way beneath him) in the same way. He deserves a large portion of the smackdown he receives—no argument from me here. It does him good, later, as we all know. But when we revisit the novel, these deeper dimensions of his character become more apparent whenever we come to this moment: that Darcy’s flaws are not just the obvious ones here (pride, arrogance, lack of manners) but also shades of other traits of his.
6) A mystery to the very end
At this point, Austen begins to clear the mist a little. Darcy gets such a blow with Elizabeth’s rejection that our heart does go out to him, and then the letter explains so much, you begin to feel like he’s been wronged with our harsh view of him. We’re brought into his home, and so, slowly, we are shown that, yes, he’s sort of quiet and taciturn, and maybe his people skills aren’t exactly up there, but he’s actually quite nice, at least willing to try to be outwardly more friendly, but in essence he’s a kind person and a responsible landowner. Elizabeth begins to see that he’s rather attractive.
The reader and Elizabeth begin to thaw towards him. And then Lydia runs away, All seems lost. Wickham has been such a wicked force in Darcy’s life, Elizabeth has already tried Darcy to the edge of what any reasonable man would put up with and Elizabeth’s family exposes herself in the worst possible way.
What I love is that Darcy’s true character is always, always most visible through his actions. This mirrors the whole point of the novel of course: that we should pay attention not to impressions, superficialities (words) but to what people really are, and what they actually do (actions). So, Darcy doesn’t say anything, in fact he swears everybody to silence. He just does. He saves Elizabeth’s family in the most warm-hearted, generous and forgiving way possible.
Anyway, I could write books on this subject just because of how much there is to say, and this is but the tip of the iceberg, but I’ll leave off here. I just wanted to explain why I love Mr Darcy, the character, and why you should too. Not as a literary romantic hero, not as a literary crush but as a really interesting, beautifully written, complex character in his own right.

AITA FOR KISSING MY ROOMMATE GOODNIGHT?
(everyone is in their 20s. names are fake)
I’d like to start off by giving background, I(M) live with my roommate Salt. We’ve been living together for a couple of years now and met through mutual friends.
I’m straight. Salt is gay in a very open, stereotypical sense(yk flamboyant, effeminate etc) and I’m not saying this to judge him/say I resent him or something he’s a dear friend of mine and I couldn’t care less abt his sexuality or how he chooses to express himself. However it’s important to mention this for the sake of AITA
The actual ‘issue’ started a year ago, where we were both drunk coming home from a party, I was struggling to get my keys out so he called me a idiot and then just.. kissed me??
That caused me to question my sexuality for a while because being a straight man you’d think I’d be repulsed or bothered by it but no I didn’t really enjoy it(not like there was smth to enjoy it was like a couple of seconds) but didn’t really mind it either in fact it didn’t made me feel any different than how I’d feel kissing a random girl I suppose?
So yeah I experimented with my sexuality for a week or so and even almost hooked up with some guy but nope. Still straight. Just didn’t mind him(probably because of how close we are)
Anyways back to the point after that Salt avoided me for a while but in the end we did have a talk which was basically him saying he was not attracted to me, how it was a spur of the moment thing and also apologizing if he made me uncomfortable.
To that I told him he did not and joked about how he could do it again.
Fast forward a month(?) later the “kissing the homies goodnight” meme came out, so one time I asked him where was my goodnight kiss was at and he actually did it, after that we just continued doing that ig I don’t think none of us thought much of it other than some night time ritual.
Here comes the actual AITA part, I recently got a girlfriend(we’ll call her Pepper). I’ts not like I’m super in love with her but she’s a nice girl and I genuinely like her so I wish to keep her happy.
The issue with Pepper is that she talks a tad bit too much, I normally wouldn’t mind it as I’m on the quiet part, but she expects me to memorize everything she has told me(not in the “do you remember my friend” type of way in the she tells me about 10 different people and gets upset when I don’t remember their exes names or what did friend7 did on lunch a month ago type of way) she also has a tendency to hyperfixate on shows and talk about the plot & characters as if they’re actual real people which makes it hard for me to understand if something she says is about a show or real. She gets really upset if I forget even the smallest things about those stories and rants about how I never listen to her. I tried talking to her about this but it only ends with her crying so I just keep shut to keep her satisfied
A week ago I was having a really bad day of migraines and nothing seemed to help but me and Pepper had made plans to hang in my place and I didn’t want to cancel. She comes over and starts talking about her sister in life’s brunch. I ask her if she could slow down a bit cause my head hurts and I can’t really keep up.
Well she takes it the wrong way and starts yelling at me about how I always am like this and how I never listen to her. I admit I’m the asshole for saying this, but I ask her if she’s unable to sit down and have a conversation like an adult. This makes her calm down a bit and she sits down so we can discuss.
I try explaining to her how it’s unfair how she expects me to remember everything and I’d be more than happy to listen to her, maybe just slow down a bit?
In mid of it she has this weird smile on her face and tells me I look hot mad, she then leans over to kiss me which I pull away from because it feels like she’s just trying to change a topic and I think this is an important convo for our relationship.
This is the moment Salt decides to arrive at home(I should also mention he’s TERRIBLE at reading the room) he comes over gives me my goodnight kiss and leaves.
(I would like to add its not like we make out or something. He just gives me a peck on the lips, says goodnight and leaves)
This drives Pepper crazy. She starts shouting at me on how I’d not kiss her but him? And that I could go ride his dick if I’m that gay for him. She storms out of the apartment
I’d like to add that Pepper has never said anything about me and Salt. I never told her about the goodnight kiss(Because I mean who goes to their girlfriend like “hey btw I kiss my roommate at nights. but no homo”?) but we never hide it either in fact I’m pretty sure we did that while she was in room once or twice too. Pepper has made jokes about us being gay and how she feels bad about getting inbetween us but never anything on being uncomfortable or not liking it.
Now it’s been a week and we haven’t talked since. She is not answering my messages and I stopped trying to contact her from there but I’m starting to doubt myself, am I the asshole here? Should I go apologize?
What are these acronyms?

I Met You Once
(Link X Reader)
Feminine (Y/n)!
Ocarina of Time
“(Y/n)!” The young girl turned her head, finding a boy in green on horseback. She tilted her head, wondering how he could know her name. “I’m sorry… do I know you?” He looked a couple years older, but not by much. “Oh! I’m.. uh.. yes. I’m Link. I was talking to your older sister. I just wanted to meet you.” The young girl tilted her head and smiled. She knew her older sister enjoyed talking with strangers, especially when she ventured to Castle Town. Maybe… this would be a friend for her. After all, their quaint house tucked far away wasn’t something she was able to leave. The young fairy boy seemed keen on talking to her. “It’s nice to meet you, I haven’t heard anything about you.” She said. Link shrugged and got down from his horse. “This is Epona. I..” He blushed, holding out his hand. “I wanna be your friend. I’m ten. I heard you’re eight.” She blinked and slowly nodded. “Yeah. I am. I like your horse. She’s pretty.” (Y/n) took his hand and shook it. Link grinned. “Great! Come on and pet her.”
So, (Y/n) did. She stroked the mane of the gentle horse, still a young foal herself. The two began to chat more, and (Y/n) found she really liked this boy. He had traveled all around Hyrule and visited… everywhere! All the adventure she had yearned for in her young years. “I have to stay home, mom and dad want me to be the perfect lady.” (Y/n) said softly. “Why’s that?” Link asked. “Oh, when I get married.” She said nonchalantly. “Married?” Link asked slowly. “Yeah. I have a fiancé.” (Y/n) hummed. “A fiancé?” The young girl grinned at the boy’s question. “Yeah! It’s super cool! When I get big enough, I’ll get married. So mom and dad want me to know all the things I need to be the perfect wife.”
The perfect wife.
The words had rang clear through the young boys brain. However, he had witnessed a different fate.
Years later, when Hyrule was crumbling.
Tears that (Y/n) cried when he had met her.
“I hate him. I hate this man. I hate being married. I’ve… already had two children. My body is ruined. I’m ruined. I wish.. I wish I never agreed.” An older Link had witnessed this, and brought the memory back to the present. “Link… I wish… you’d found me. I love you. I’m sorry.”
“(Y/n)… you shouldn’t marry him.” The young boy whispered. “Why not? Mom and dad say he’ll treat me so nice.” Link stared at the girl, biting his lip. “Promise me something? We’ll stay friends, okay? And you can tell me anything. And I’ll do anything to make sure you’re happy.” He asked. (Y/n) thought it was a weird request, but shrugged it off. A friend. That’s all she’s ever wanted. A true friend. “Okay, and I’ll do the same for you.”
Years passed, and Link made good on his promise. He would visit at least once a week, if not twice. (Y/n)’s parents found him irritating, but he never meddled in her marriage again. (Y/n)’s 16th birthday was nearing, as were her preparations for her marriage. “I’m really excited Link. After this long, I’ll be able to meet my fiancé soon.” She gazed at him, as they sat in Hyrule field together. Link hummed, picking at the flowers around them. “Yes, I’m sure you’re excited. But is this something you want?” He asked, tilting his head. Throughout the years, Link had lost his childish charms. He had grown into a fine young man, and (Y/n) couldn’t help but to notice him. Really notice him. The way he protectively stood with her, how kind he always was. How he could make her laugh, even at the worst times. Something… she wants? (Y/n) had to sit back with herself. Did she want to get married? “And you’ve never met the guy? What’s so great about him anyway?” Link prodded. (Y/n) frowned and thought to herself. “I don’t know. I guess… the fact that someone wants me. I’ve been spoken for for as long as I can remember.” She murmured. “Don’t you think that’s… creepy?” (Y/n) shook her head. “Not even a little?” Link asked. “If I were engaged for that long, I’d at least want to know what my wife looks like. Her name, her face, the way she laughs… you know. Something.” (Y/n) brushed Link off. “You wouldn’t understand.” She mumbled. “But… (Y/n). That’s… forever. Marrying someone.” (Y/n) huffed and tugged at the instrument Link carried around. “Okay, whatever fairy boy. Play me a song. I don’t want to talk about that anymore.” Link rolled his eyes and took the ocarina back from her. “Yes, princess.” He murmured and began to play a soft tune.
He just… couldn’t shake the way she looked at him. And through these years he had fallen in love with her. The way she laughed, the way her eyes sparkled when she was truly happy. He needed to see that smile. He wished he could do more to show her how much he cared for her, as more than a friend. Sure, at first this was his heroic heart. He needed to save a girl who obviously couldn’t save herself on her own. It’s what was right… but… now? Now his heart was in on it. He couldn’t… shake what he saw.
(Y/n) told him she was fourteen when she married this man. He was thirty eight years older than her. Fifty two. Marrying a child. “He made me happy at first and then… he treated me like a slave.” And that’s all she was to him. A servant. And it crushed him to see her like that. He spends a few days with her, under the guise of being an old childhood friend. He… fell in love with her so fast. So hard. He figured he could save her before any of this. He was already altering the future, why couldn’t he do it again?
“Link?” He jumped up as she snapped her fingers a few times. “Hey, did you hear me?” (Y/n) asked sitting back in the grass. “Maybe. Maybe not, why?” Link asked, feeling embarrassed he had fallen that deep in his thoughts. “I told you I’m getting married. In a week.” His heart seemed to stop and he looked at (Y/n). “What?” He hissed. “I’m getting married in a week. I was told yesterday, isn’t that exciting?” Link slowly reached out and took her hands, staring daggers into the ground beneath them. “(Y/n). I’ve… I know what your life will be like with him.” He said slowly, delicately as not to scare her. “You cannot marry him. Please. You.. you have to trust me. Okay? Say the word and I’ll take you away. Far away. I’ll protect you, and make sure no one ever takes away your freedom to choose again. But you have to trust my word.”
(Y/n) searched his gaze, finding nothing but panic and pain for her. Her heart clenched and she realized in horror… did she love him? She pulled her hands away and stared at Link intently. “I.. I don’t…” The words escaped her mind. He looked up, his eyes finding hers. And for once she could see her future. Laughing and running, cuddles and soft kisses. Waking up in the night, finding his sleeping body beside hers. A comforting and fulfilling presence. She bit her lip and closed her eyes. “I’m scared.” She said simply. Link pulled her into a tight hug, nodding softly. “I know. I am too, but I promise I’ll protect you. And I promise you’ll be so much happier. Trust me.”
She did trust him. With her life.
“Okay.” She breathed, hugging back. He pulled back and smiled, gently tilting her head up to look at him. He leaned in close, and she did as well. They shared a gentle kiss before Link pulled away. “I will come to get you the night before your wedding. Take anything you’d like. You won’t be returning.”
The day came, and (Y/n) waited anxiously in her nightgown. Her window cracked open and the familiar head of her lovely fairy boy poked inside. Their gazes met and he held out a hand. She smiled and took it, climbing out of her window with him.
To freedom.
(Happy ToTK release my friends :))

If you have a chance, I would love to hear your character interpretation of Eric Singer.
I know you have a special fondness for the OG, but I also appreciate the detailed insights you provide about the side characters. For instance, I still remember how the detailed descriptions of the other team members at the beginning of 'black and gold' brought me joy and made me feel more immersed in the story. Speaking of non-OG, I also love your depiction of BK in 'careening'.
(It doesn't have to be very detailed! It is nice to hear someone who is not particularly fond of that person talk about them, just as much as hearing from someone who is their biggest fan. And I’d just be interested to hear what you have to say!)
I’m sorry for writing so much, thank you for taking the time. I hope you have a great day <3
Never be sorry and I'm so glad to hear from you! I love answering questions like this, ask away! I'm glad you enjoyed those parts of black and gold and careening-- careening is one of my favorite of my fics, though it didn't get as much attention as some of my other stories. Bruce's position in the band was interesting as was his genuine good guy nature as opposed to Paul's worn-down, fading rockstar aspects. I like Eric and don't have anything against him but I just honestly haven't spent nearly as much time thinking about him as I have the OG!
Eric Singer-- I have met everyone that was ever in the band except for Vinnie and Eric Carr. I have spoken to Eric twice, once when he handed me the mic at a Kiss Kruise, and once when he was... Candleboy. I like Eric a lot. One of the things I noticed about him was that he was very quick-- on Kruise, he would usually do a surprise last song with whatever band was coming on prior to one of Paul's events, and then would scurry off after that through the regular entrance/exit rather than backstage or anything (of course, given this was a ship there probably wasn't a great, hidden exit...). Anyway, when Eric would leave, there was a lady who would sit next to me outside the entrance. He would always press a guitar pick in her hand and leave, so quickly you wouldn't believe. The pick was for her son, who was autistic and couldn't always go on Kruise. He remembered her and him as they (along with her husband) would come every year. He was super kind to them.
When I spoke to him on Kruise it was pretty brief, I had my hand up for a question and was on the end of the row, but I really didn't think I'd get picked, my hand was only like halfheartedly up, but Eric saw me and suddenly pushed the mic into my hand and tapped the back of my shoulder and told me to stand up and walk closer up. I was like "are you sure you want me to have this (the mic)" and he didn't say anything, just urged me to get up closer. I asked my (goofy) question of Gene and he responded, and Eric said he also used to watch the show I'd asked about.
The second time, he gave me and @elrohare the most bizarre lesson on candle safety I've ever gotten in my life, but I'll let her tell that story.
Overall impressions of Eric are that he's very watchful and aware. He knows where his place is, he's got a journeyman sensibility. I feel like in some ways KISS was a constraint to him and his abilities and that in that sense he ended up creatively frustrated. I think that KISS was very much a job for him, but a job with serious perks. I think as his tenure progressed with the band he was more willing to pop off (up to a point) and I enjoy his relationship with Gene especially; I like that he seemed to help Gene loosen up. And he's the kind of guy that really isn't a jerk to fans and so on-- that's worth a lot, too.

It was three months after you met Steve for the first time that you ended up inviting him over for dinner after the meeting ended.
He hastily agreed and smiled coyly. Steve Rogers is a hero, a strong super-soldier, but he’s still the shy guy from Brooklyn who tries to figure out how to talk to a woman.
“Steve, hi,” you opened the door the moment he wanted to knock. Eager to see him again. Even though, you parted ways with him not two hours ago. “Come in.”
Steve stepped inside, feeling his heart flutter when he looked around your apartment above your grandmother’s bakery. It was just like he imagined. Warm. Inviting. A home.
“Uh-I brought wine, and these,” he offers a bouquet of roses to you. “I didn’t know if you like wine, but I wanted to bring something with me. It’s white wine.”
“It’s fine. We can have it with the fish.” You smiled softly. “I have to admit, I don’t know much about wine. Sorry, I’m not much of a drinker.”
“Me neither,” he said. “I can’t feel the influence because of the serum. But I like the taste. Let me open it for you.”
“Ever the gentleman, Captain,” you teased and walked toward the dining room. “I’m ready to serve the food. If you open the wine, I can take care of the food.”
“Let me lend you a hand, doll. I can carry the food,” Steve pulled a chair for you. “Sit comfortably. You cooked for us. I’ll take care of the food.”
“I can do it too,” you said, but Steve was halfway toward the kitchen to grab the plates. “Steve, I can do it…”
“No, doll. You worked all day at the bakery, helped me with the meeting, and cooked. You need a rest and enjoy the food,” he sternly said, but a smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. “Listen to your Captain and eat your food, ma’am.”
He placed a plate in front of you and pecked your cheek. “Thank you for inviting me. I’m honored that you allowed me to come to your home.”
You giggled at his words. Steve was such a gentleman, and so sweet. No other man was ever so sweet to you, or attentive. “Anytime, Steve. It’s a pleasure having you.”
For a moment, there was awaked silence before you both burst into laughter. “Sorry, I’m awful when it comes to dates,” Steve admitted.
“Oh my god, same,” you jumped up to hug Steve tightly. “I thought it was only me. I'm glad it’s you. I mean…I feel comfortable around you. Not like with other men. Not that other men are bad, but you are you…”
Steve didn’t mind that you nervously babbled. He was glad you felt about him the way you did. After everything he lost, especially so many friends, Steve needed a glimmer of hope.
And who was he to refuse a little happiness when it came with a warm smile and a soft voice?
Tumblr media
“That’s kinda nice.” You broke the silence stretching out in the room. “I mean, this place. Uh-Steve said it’s okay to bring food.”
“Nat, that’s Y/N. I told you about her.” Steve watched his friend lift a brow. She looked you up and down before her eyes drifted toward the baked goods you placed on the table.
“I already like her,” she smirked. “Steve told us so much about you. He wouldn’t stop talking about you, your bakery, and how sweet you are.”
“Nat,” Steve’s cheeks turned red at Nat’s words. He didn’t want you to know he can’t stop talking about you, and how you helped him cope with what happened after the snap. “I think Y/N doesn’t want to hear about it.”
“No, no. I’d like to hear more,” you teased. You patted Steve’s back and tried to calm him when he inhaled sharply. “I was just kidding. I bet you didn’t talk so much about me.”
“All the time he was talking about you,” Nat enjoyed the struggle on Steve’s face. It’s been a while since she felt a little hope. But seeing you with Steve gave her hope. If he could find love in these desperate times, everything is possible.
Everything is still possible…
Tumblr media
“What do you think about my friends?” Steve asked as he walked you home. “They were friendly to you, right? You felt safe and welcome…”
“They are very nice. I like Nat,” you smiled when Steve took your hand and interlaced his fingers with yours. “Of course, they are nice. All of them are your friends.”
You walked back to your home in silence, simply enjoying each other’s company.
Steve didn’t have the heart about the things he and his friends discussed some days ago. If they can do what Bruce and Scott were talking about, the world will change once again.
At that very moment, all Steve wanted was to hold your hand and bring you home safely. Everything else was unimportant...

RootBeer Floats
Azriel x Reader
Author’s note: Here is part three for you feins. If you have not read part I or part II I highly suggest you do. Thank you for all of the support, enjoy! NOT PROOF READ
Laying in bed and questioning my choice of major is not how I planned to spend my Saturday night. Mor was out on a date with her girlfriend and wouldn’t be home till tomorrow, so like any good college student I decided to take this opportunity to work on this paper. Only for me to fail immensely at getting anything done, my eye’s were becoming dry despite the glasses I put on hours before, my room was too stuffy, and the silence was too loud. One more key stroke and I would actually pull my hair out. I let out an  sigh as my head fell into hands. The base of my palms rubbed at my eyes until I was seeing white, I only lifted my head up because I heard my phone vibrate twice. Who would dare to send me a snap this hour? Checking my phone, Cassian had sent a video to a group chat that consisted of Me, Mor, Feyre, Nesta, Elain, Amren, Rhysand, Azriel, and Cassian. Over the past 3 weeks Mor’s friend group had accepted me with open arms, Nesta and I talk about the mass amounts of books we need to read or had read. Feyre had invited me to walk around a few art exhibits our school had to offer. Rhysand had asked for my help with a business venture. Cassian and I had sat in a parking lot late at night, eating greasy fast food and talked shit. I have yet to met Elain, and the last time Az and I even spoke was  their last game the other day.
Me: Congrats on the great season! You guys had a killer last game, be safe partying tonight.
Azriel : Thanks, will do.
Yea, I still cringe thinking about it. I don’t really understand why he is actively avoiding me. Maybe it’s because of the captain situation, or maybe I’m being over bearing? I fall back onto my bed sprawling out and sigh, “Men, so complicated.” I shake my head as I lift my phone to my face to watch Cassian’s video.
“I swear to god if I don’t get written by a female I give up on life,” His face was very close to the camera in unrelenting focus. The filter stopped spinning and Cassian let out the loudest gasp known to man.
“The most chronically online person you know my ass,” He clicked his tongue before he stopped the video. Soon Mor sent a video back, “No no, that is surprisingly very accurate,” Cassian only sent a picture with him using a vulgure gesture captioned   ‘Rude ass’.
I laugh a little, happy that I could be apart of this chaos. I scrolled through the different social media apps for a little. It was only till my stomach growled did I get out of bed. Shuffling to the kitchen I looked at the clock to see the time.
10:00
Opening the fridge to find food was utter failure as Mor, once again, forgot it was her turn to buy groceries. I’ll have to get on her about that once again. Going back to my room I threw on a hoodie, slipped on some shoes, grabbed my keys and left the shared apartment. Double checking the door was locked I made my way to the elevator.
On the walk there humming the song stuck in my head, a flash of red hair crossed my vision before his voice filled the hall way.
“Y/N, wait up,” He did a little a jog to catch up.
“Lucien Hey, what are you up to?”  Lucien. The guy next door, he was quite handsome, super nice, a such a flirt. His long auburn hair was tied back showing off his sharp features while his wired frame glasses hid the full beauty of his golden eyes.
“Just getting dinner. What about you?” He shrugged his shoulders a little.
“I’m actually off to do the same thing,” I smile up at him.
“Well then, care to join me? I could never let such a pretty girl eat alone,” He offered his arm to me with a slight smirk on his lips.
“And I thought romance was dead. I would love to join you,” I hook my arm on to his and he whisked us away.
On the car ride soft music played in the back ground while we tried to come to a agreement of what to eat.
“What about that one diner that is retro, I heard their milkshakes are pretty good,” Lucien quickly looked my way to gage my opinion.
“Sure why not, I could eat a burger right now,”
“Great, me too.” He laughs a little bit as he drives towards our agreed location.
When arriving Lucien was quick to get out of the car to open my door. When he did he offered his hand and bowed a little bit, “M’lady,” I laughed a little as I grabbed his hand and stood out of his car.  I was quick to drop his hand when we stepped foot in the restaurant.  We were quick to be seated in a booth near a window. Upon sitting down a waiter that looks like they are on their last straw drops two menus on the table. After a few moments of silences Lucien speaks up, “What do you plan on getting?”
I took one last scan before I answered, “hmm probably a burger with a rootbeer float.” I drop the menu from my face to be greeted with a smiling Lucien.
“Rootbeer float huh?”
“Of course, personally I believe they are superior to milkshakes, and you cannot change my mind,” I laugh a little upon seeing Lucien's betrayed look.
“How could say such a thing!” He gasps and puts his heart on his chest, We both let out laughs that were a little too loud for the quite diner.
The laughing was cut short when the waiter came to take our orders. Falling in the small talk about school, life, friends, and work led into an easy way to pass time. Small shared laughs and understanding nods kept the conversation flowing before a small feminine voice floated through the air. “Lucien?”
Lucien was quick to lift his head up from our conversation, “Elain?” curiosity dripped from her name.
“Oh my gosh Hi, how are you?” She was quick to slide into the seat next him.
“I’m...good. How about you? What are you doing out this late?” He turned his whole body to face her and gave me a side glance that seemed to say: ‘I’m just as confused.’
She waved her hand lazily, “Az and I were meeting for a late dinner and I got here before him. Do you mind if I wait with you guys? Better yet, we should just all eat together!” How she was this chipperly at 10:30 at night was beyond me. What really irked me was the fact that she is supposed to be here with Azriel. This is why he was so standoffish, this beyond pretty girl in front of me, who was flirting with Lucien. What a good date. I cross my arms and scoff a little at the fact. This does not go unnoticed by the red hair across from me.
“Elain, have you met Y/N yet?” she stopped her conversation about her  floriculture class and turned her head towards me. She looked me up at down.
“Nice to meet you,” she turned back to Lucien before I could even reply. Lucien gave me a apologetic look before the bell above the door rang. Elain looked towards the door and started to wave franticly. I could only hear to foot steps of doom as he walked closer to our table.
“Azriel hey, I saw Lucien here so I figured we could all eat together,” ouch. He just nods his head a slides into the seat next to me. His scent was heavenly and left me light headed. Cedar and whisky, it had me squeezing my thighs together.
“What’s up man,” Lucien and Azriel did the normal guy handshake.
“Not much, what about you?” Az leaned back and laid his arm on the back of the booth.
“Not much either, congrats on the season though, you guys kicked ass,” Lucien leaned back as well.
“Thanks man,” Conversation was cut short when the waiter arrived with our food and took the others orders. I smiled when the rootbeer float was sat in front of me. I was quick to take a sip, gods it was so good.
“You know those are bad for you right?” I’m going to lose my shit.
“Yes Elain I do, but quite frankly I do not care,” I smiled at her before I picked up a fry.
“Geez no need to be mean, I was just saying,” She rolled her before she slumped back in her seat.
“I’ve never had a rootbeer float before,” Azriel looked my way with a sheepish smile.
“You’re joking?!”
“Nope,” He popped the ‘p’ while he shook his head
“Where was your childhood?” I was quick to steal the straw that Lucien left behind, unwrapped it and shoved it in the sugary drink. I pushed it towards him.
“Try,” He gave me a look that asked ‘are you sure?’ I only answered by pushing it closer to him.
He smiled and his grab the straw between his pointer finger and thumb and wrapped his soft, plump lips around it. He sucked lightly his Adams apple bobbing with each swallow. Gods, my thighs squished together, he was clueless to what he was doing and it made it all more painful that Elain and Lucien were sitting right across from us. He soon pulled back from the straw and time seemed to go back to normal.
“Soooo, whadya think?” He licked the remaining drink from his lips as he thought about it.
“That.... was the best drink I have had,” He smilled a little bit as he looked at me.
“Seriously?!?!”
“Yes seriously,” I smiled back.
“I’m glad you like it.”
                                                              Azriel
That was the worst possible drink I have ever had. I would never tell her that, I mean look at how happy she looks. The smile adoring her face with the slight tint on her cheeks made her all the more beautiful.  If I was being honest I rather be anywhere but here right now, Elain was persistent to go out for dinner, which ruined my whole schedule for the day. Sleep in, eat breakfast, go to the gym, study, sleep. Simple, but much needed. Ever since the kiss with Y/N Elain has been all over me, it was smothering. It was bad before Y/N, but now? I can’t even pull up my phone without her wondering who I’m texting. I had also just learned that she had been replying to Y/N texts, or deleting the notifications. I’m trapped and I don’t know what to do.
Elain and I were just friends with benefits nothing more nothing less. We went to each other warm our beds, but now? She’s a parasite and she’s making me sick.
Dinner was finished quickly before we were kicked out. Standing out in the parking lot we all bid our goodbyes Y/N being the last to say goodnight.
“Goodnight Az, it was nice seeing you again,” She gave me was quick hug. Her shampoo scent floating to my nose, strawberries. She was so divine. We pulled apart unfortunately and she turned to walk towards Lucien's car. Before she could go far I lunged for her arm.
“I- wait-,” She turned around and I let go her arm. What. The. Fuck. Am. I .Doing. The look of patience sent my heart racing.
“Would... uh, would you maybe like hang out sometime soon?” I have never fumbled over my words, but I have also never seen her light up the way she just.
“I would love to,”
“Great, I’ll text you,”
“Goodnight Az.”
“Night Y/N.”

Atta Boy experience below the cut if you want to read! Warning it’s kinda long. I debated posting this but I saw some other people sharing their concert experiences and I started to write it out but never did until just now. This is what I remember and what I processed. 🙈 (there’s probably too much detail)
My friend and I got there super early. We got in the door and got a drink, then just sat and chilled for a bit. It was a super small venue! My friend knew nothing. She thought the music was country (my bad for not telling her, I just knew that she watched Yellowstone and knew of Eden and vaguely of Lewis so I invited her). So we went back out into the courtyard area and I saw Eden and Dashel hanging out having a drink and a smoke but didn’t bother them.
We go in and buy merch, meet Freddy and Dashel briefly but didn’t really engage except for just buying the stuff (mainly cause I was nervous to approach at the time) and then we went back to a seat and chilled again while we waited.
So The Wonderfools started, and I had no idea they were just hanging around the venue but they were really good and I enjoyed their music. While they were playing I went to the bathroom and as I walked there I went past this tall guy that had a hat on and was looking down at his phone and I thought to myself “I think that was Lewis” but I couldn’t see his face. So I walked back by him slowly and gave him a longer glance and was like yep, that’s him. That’s the dude😅 but I let him be. He seemed to be very much in his own world and he was texting. I was literally buzzing from both nerves and alcohol.
So the Wonderfools set ended and my friend and I are standing to the left of the stage and then Atta Boy comes out. I swear I think that’s likely when I started to black out. He was so tall. And seeing him climb up onto that stage…it was the sexiest thing ever. But I just vibed the entire show! It was so much fun and even though I barely knew any words I still enjoyed it so much. There was one moment I remember I spaced out while Lewis was playing and I probably looked like a freak gawking at him. Freddy was in my view most of the time so it was nice getting glimpses of Lewis 😂😂
Show ended, I told my friend we were staying to meet them and then it got a little wild. All of them were spread out all over the venue. I was trying to figure out where to stand in line while my friend was in line for merch (she didn’t get any at the beginning) and then Lewis was beep booping around meeting people and I think he ran into some guy that may have worked with him? Idk they knew each other somehow and they talked for a few minutes by the bar which is where most people were standing and waiting for him and all of a sudden I turned around and he was gone. My friend was like “your boy moved on you” 😂😂 so he finally settled in at the stage and met people and I was waiting for my friend to get a shirt. She comes back and we’re closer and I think he was also trying to help take down their stuff from the stage from what I recall.
We get closer and I had no idea what I was going to say. I felt like I was going to throw up. By that time a lot of people had already left which was nice. My friend was asking me what I was going to do or say and so I ripped my wristband off and was holding it and when I got up to him he was like “Hey! How’s it going? Whatcha got there?” And I’m holding my wristband down at my side and I swear to you I blacked out. I think he put a spell on me 😂 But I said “well I’m hoping it’s something you can sign” 🙈 and he was like “Hell yeah!” And he leaned down to sign it on the stage and said something but I couldn’t hear him so I was like “pardon?” And he was asking my friend and I if we were from there. So I said yes and that I brought my friend along and he was like “hell yeah! That’s awesome.” And then I asked him if he’s been to Atlanta and he goes “yes I actually lived here for about 4 months” and I had NO WORDS to say to him. So what did I do? I FUCKING WINKED AT HIM and smiled 😭😭 and then I remember asking if we could get a picture and he was like “yeah totally!” and I feel like I yanked him into me 😅 but his tiny little waist is the size of one side of my wingspan. So I’m shaking, my hands are sweating and I’m about to try to take a selfie and I practically threw my phone at my friend to take the picture it felt like. She took multiples and he goes “oh cool you got the multi shot!” Then after that I don’t know what happened after taking the picture with Lewis. Idk if I said anything or if he said anything. Idk my mind was short circuiting.
I do know that we went to meet Eden and she was precious. I love her. My friend told her she got her ass beat in Yellowstone and I died laughing and she was like “yeah…I did.” And I told her I hadn’t seen it before and she was like “it’s definitely a journey if you watch it. You gotta commit to it” or something along those lines. Then she signed my wrist band too and was like “this is something I just did the other night!” So we chat more about their show the next day and she was like “I’m just hoping people show up” because of it being in Asheville and I told her that I knew at least one person that was going to be there! I think she was happy to hear that.
Then we met Freddy and he signed the wrist band too and passed it to Dash. We talked to him (he is the absolute cutest and sweetest thing and I just wanted to talk to him more but i know they were trying to pack stuff) and my friend told him her name was Savannah and he goes “oh like the city!” And then I asked if he has been and he said he had friends that went to SCAD. And we talked about the seasons changing and he goes “yeah growing up in LA you don’t really get the seasons.” Lol such a cutie!
Then my friend wanted her shirt signed and she was too scared to ask so I went back over to Freddy and I messed up my wording but I said something like “she was too nerbous to ask you to sign” and he looked at me like I had 5 heads (my friend told me I had to say nervous like that) then I was like “can you sign her shirt?” And he passed it to Eden and Dash.
So then we obviously had to get Lewis again. And before we did we got Aubrey to sign as well and I hate I didn’t get a picture with her or Dash but I was like “I’m so sorry I hate to bother you but can you get Lewis to sign it too?” He was packing up and everything and she called him over and I said “I’m calling her out, she was too nervous to ask you to sign her shirt.” And he squats down in front of me and was like “it’s ok I get nervous too” and I don’t know what I did or said but then I was asking him if he was excited for Asheville too and he said “yeah I am! I went to school there so I’m excited to see some friends.” And then again, I just stared at him and was like “yeahhhh” as if I didn’t know every public thing about him. Words left me. I could have said anything! But he signed her shirt and I told him thank you and then we left and I think I’ve been both on cloud 9 as well as severely depressed ever since!

I don’t like you, Mason Mount | Chapter 1
Summary: Have you ever heard of Mason Mount? He is a football player, and one who people (and himself) believe to be among the best out there. That, and that he is handsome, funny, charming, super nice with the fans... But he doesn't fool me. He is overrated. Very, overrated. Or that's what I thought until Christmas, when my niece Lola dragged me to an event where I got to meet him in person.
Author’s note: This story is inspired on an imagine I posted over Christmas, so some of you may have already read this first chapter. But if you ever wondered what happened to them after meeting, here you'll have the answer! Also, thank you very much for all the love on that imagine! I was going to keep writing their story because the muse came to visit me, but seeing that so many of you liked it motivated me a lot more to keep writing 😊 Starting with this story today also is special, because last year for Valentine’s Day I posted the first chapter of my first story ever, and it also was with Mason. Anyway, hope you like it, and thank you for reading! 💜

"Thank you so much for taking Lola to this thing. You know I would do it myself if I wasn’t feeling like shit."
"It's ok, don't worry."
"I know you don't like anything that has to do with football or him."
"I'll survive."
"I promise I'll get you something good for Christmas as a thank you."
"You still haven't bought my present? Monica, Christmas is in two days!"
"That's enough time" she shrugs.
"Auntie!" my niece Lola says, running towards me.
"Hello, gorgeous. Are you ready?" I say, hugging her.
"I am!" she replies, doing a twirl so I can see that she's wearing Chelsea from head to toe. And, of course, she's wearing her Mount shirt.
She's been in love with him since last year, when he visited her school and defended her against some kids who didn't let her play football with them because she was a girl. After that, she took football even more seriously, and now she's playing for a girls team and has made half our family Chelsea fans.
Not me, though. I don't like football, and I can't stand Mason Mount and everything around him. He isn't that handsome, or funny, charming, such a good player... He is overrated. Very, overrated.
"Enjoy, darling" her mum says, giving her a quick hug. "And you, sis, be nice. Who knows, maybe you'll meet him in person and fall in love with him."
"Ha ha" I say, rolling my eyes.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"I'm so nervous, auntie!" Lola says. We've been waiting for an hour, Mason talking and taking photos with other kids who, like her, have been selected to meet him through their football academies. And from time to time, I catch him looking at us, always smiling at me. Keep trying, Mount.
"Hello and Merry Christmas!" he says when it finally is our turn.
"Merry Christmas" Lola says.
"Have we met before? That red hair of yours looks so familiar..."
"We have! You went to my school and defended me against some boys who didn't let me play football with them."
"Oh, yes. You had a Spanish name, right?"
"Yes, Lola!" she says, a big smile on her face. I guess that if my idol remembered me, I would also smile like that.
"And who is this?" he asks her, looking at me.
"That's my auntie. She doesn't like you, that's why she looks angry."
"Let me guess... Arsenal fan?"
"I'm an I don't like football fan" I say.
"But I am going to change her mind" Lola says.
"I'll help you" Mason winks. "So, should we take some photos? Your auntie is invited."
"I think I'll pass" I say with a fake smile.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"And this is where we get changed" Mason says when we walk into the changing room. After the introductions and taking some photos, he's now being our Cobham's tour guide.
"What do you guys think?" he asks Lola and I while the others take some photos.
"It's just a changing room" I shrug. "Though I was expecting to see some of your clothes, confirm if they are as ugly on person as on photos."
"Auntie!" Lola says, he eyes going wide.
"I'm sorry to disappoint, but today I came here dressed like this" he says, pointing at his Chelsea tracksuit. "You don't like it?"
"It's better than the one with sequins, so it's something."
"They weren't sequins" he says, trying to sound offended.
"If you say so... Where to next?"
"The gym" he says. "C'mon guys, time to keep moving."
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"That was a really nice shot."
"Thank you" I say, picking up at the ball and shooting again. Once at the gym and after explaining what all the machines do to a very annoying man, I decided to move to the little basketball area they have while the kids play with the machine goalkeepers have to train their reflexes.
"Is basketball your favourite sport, then?" Mason asks me.
"Nope. I played when I was in high school and I kind of enjoy it, but I don't watch it or anything."
"No football, no basketball... Tennis? Rugby? Cricket?"
"No, no and no" I say, shooting again.
"Then what sport do you like?" he asks again, picking the ball.
"Formula 1."
"Uh, fancy" he says, shooting and missing.
"That was so bad" I laugh.
"I'm good with a ball on my feet. With my hands I'm good at other things" he says with a mischievous smile.
"Of course you are" I say, rolling my eyes.
"Let me guess who is your favourite driver. Lando? I'm friends with him."
"I'm not interested on kids."
"He isn't a kid, he is my age."
"Exactly" I say with a big smile.
"Ok, so if you like them older... Hamilton?"
"Nope."
"Ummm... Vettel?"
"Not him."
"Then I give up."
"So easily, Mount?" I ask, arching an eyebrow.
"I can't think of any other drivers who are older" he shrugs.
"Ricciardo."
"He is the one you like?"
"He is."
"Interesting... You may have a type, because we have something in common, you know?"
"Yeah, sure" I snort.
"We do" he says, touching his nose before leaving to join the others.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"Welcome to the cantine!" Mason says when we walk in. "We usually only have super duper healthy food, but since it's Christmas and we have guests, we've chosen a very special menu. Follow me."
Like he said, instead of fruit, pasta and all those things football players eat, they have different Christmas meals, and at the end of the buffet, there is a table full of chocolates and all kinds of sweets for the kids. And for those who aren't kids too, I hope.
"Auntie, let's seat next to the window" Lola says after we've picked our food.
"May I join you?" Mason says behind us.
"Of course!" she replies with a big smile.
"Shouldn't you be sitting with the others? Like spending some time with each kid or something?" I ask.
"I'll do that later. Besides, there are no empty seats left."
"Don't be so rude, auntie. It's Christmas!"
"It's Christmas" he repeats with a big smile, making me roll my eyes. Again.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"Ok, everyone, listen up" Mason says once we all have finished eating. "To end the day, we are going to play Secret Santa. You'll pick a name from this bag, and then make a gift for the person you've been assigned. There are lots of Chelsea merch over there, you can pick as many things as you want. I will also be playing, which means that you'll have to get me a present, and I will get you one: the shirt I wore on my last game. It's been washed, don't worry" he says, making everyone laugh. Everyone but me. "Ok, let's start the game!"
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"I wonder who is getting his shirt" Lola says.
"I don't know. But we know that the boy over there is the one gifting him. His little scream gave it away" I chuckle.
"Who wants to start?" Mason asks.
"I will!" the boy I just mentioned says, moving to the table where all the presents are. "Oh..." he says, opening his box and finding a scarf and a teddy bear.
"Sorry I wasn't Mason" a woman says.
"It's ok" the boy replies, looking very disappointed.
There only are two presents left when it finally is my turn, and one of them is the shirt.
"You got it, auntie. I can feel it!" Lola whispers next to me.
"I hope you're wrong" I say to myself, walking towards the table.
"Merry Christmas" Mason says, giving me the present with my name on it.
"Thank you" I reply. And when I open it... "Damn it" I say under my breath.
"We have a lucky winner!" he grins, everyone around me cheering and clapping.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"You can wear it on Boxing Day."
"What?"
"My shirt" Mason says.
"Why would I do that?"
"Because you are coming to my game."
"No, I am not" I chuckle.
"Yes, you are. Lola?" he calls. "Lola, why don't you tell your auntie about my secret present?"
"Oh, yes!" she says, joining us. "He has got us tickets for Chelsea's Boxing Day game! Like, for the whole family!"
"And the whole family includes you" he says with that stupid smile of his, the one that shows a dimple on his cheek. Why have I noticed something like that?
"I don't like football."
"But it is a special day, auntie" Lola pouts.
"C'mon, don't be a Grinch" he says, also pouting.
"I hate you. Both of you" I say.
"Is that a yes?" Lola asks.
"It's a maybe."
"Great!" she says, hugging me.
"May I join you?" Mason asks.
"Yes, group hug!"
"What? No!" I say. But before I can escape, he also is hugging me, his face very close to mine.
"Merry Christmas, auntie" he says, smiling once again.
"Fuck you" I whisper, making him laugh.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"That wasn't that bad, was it?" my sister Monica asks after the game.
"I loved every second of it!" Lola says. "And Mason scored! I think he dedicated it to us. Or to you, auntie."
"Mount fancies you?" my dad asks.
"No! Of course not!" I say.
"Then why are you blushing?"
"Because you all are very annoying. Him included. Can we please go home now?"
"We can't" Monica says. "We are supposed to meet him and thank him for the tickets."
"What? Since when?"
"The tickets came with a note that said that" she shrugs.
━━━━━━❃━━━━━━
"That game was amazing, boy" my dad says, patting Mason on the back. "And the goal? Wow."
"Thank you, sir" he says with a shy smile. "What did you think?"
"I don't know, I was looking at my phone" I say.
"Of course you were."
"Lola, dad, why don't we go get ourselves a drink, uh?" my sister says.
"And leave him alone with her?" my dad says.
"She'll behave. Won't you, sis?"
"I'll try."
"They are really nice" Mason says once they have left.
"Unlike me?"
"You also are nice. On your own weird way" he chuckles. "So... I was wondering... Would you... Would you like to go grab a drink or go out for dinner one day?"
"Who? Me? With you?"
"Yes, you and I. Why so surprised?"
"I don't like you, Mason."
"Yet" he says with a smile. That smile.
"You are a stubborn one, aren't you?"
"Look who is talking" he laughs. "But yes, I am. And I won't stop until I convince you to go out on a date with me."
"Why?"
"I don't know. There is something about you that I like" he shrugs.
"Well, there is nothing about you that I like."
"You are such a bad liar..."
"Whatever" I say, crossing my arms over my chest. Because maybe he's right. Maybe I do like something about him. Like his smile. Or how cute he was with all the kids the other day, definitely not behaving like a diva.
"This is my number" he says, giving me a card. "Text me when you are free. I'll be looking forward to it."
"It's not going to happen, you know?" I say, taking the card.
"We shall see. Merry Christmas... auntie" he says, catching me by surprise and kissing my cheek.
"Merry Christmas, Mount" I reply, surprising myself when I feel my face burning, and trying not to smile. Because maybe, huge maybe here... He isn't that bad after all.

The Last Chance (I)
Chapter 1 : Meeting
Hi! Coming back with a request for my Comeback Event!! Woohoo!!! Today we are answering an anonymous request : ‘Ben Barnes & #23 for the event? 💗’. Prompt 23 was ‘wrong time to right time’.
I was actually super happy to receive this prompt for Ben, because I had already planned to write something of the kind for Ben using his acoustic video for 11:11… you’ll see what I mean when you read the third part of the fic, but it fits my plans perfectly! So, thank you so much for your request!! Although this was meant to be a one-shot, it got completely out of hand, and I had to split the fic into three parts! So, here is part 1, and you’ll get part 2 on April 29 (2023) and part 3 on May 1rst!
I hope you enjoy your fic, anon!
****
Pairing: Ben Barnes x reader
Warning: angst… with a happy ending 😉 But for this first part, it’s rather a fluffy beginning and an angsty ending…
Summary: you and Ben have been caught in a game of hide and seek for decades now; always loving each other at the wrong time in your lives. Can this finally be the right moment for the two of you?
Word count: 4693
Tumblr media
It’s late. It’s raining. You’re bored out of your mind, actually.
Amazing idea to follow your friends from university as they crash every bar in town… Wonderful plan. Especially when you have to wait for your roommate to go back to the campus, to finally go to bed. You check your watch. It’s almost 1am. You have an exam tomorrow at eleven. Great… So much for your good night of rest and quiet.
There’s only so much space under the porch of this bar. You’re partly soaked already.
Great…
You look inside once more, to see your friend snogging some guy. You don’t know him. He’s cute though, you guess. Black hair. Warm sweater. Lean. He blushes when your friend pulls away, you guess he’s a little shy. Maybe that’s the guy she’s been talking about, the cute one Cassie met in one of your classes… which class is it again? It has something to do with 18th century literature, you reckon, but you can’t put your finger on it.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter. You give the couple five more minutes before storming inside and pulling her out by the neck yourself…
You go to the bathroom for five minutes, and that’s all the time Cassie needs to meet the guy she’s trying to date and to start snogging him in public… wonderful…
Or well, maybe snogging is a bit much. Kissing is more accurate.
You decide that a cigarette is going to calm you down, so you light one up and take a long drag. The feeling of the intoxicating smoke does help. You feel yourself relaxing, but you don’t give up on your resolution to kick your roommate’s arse, and to do so rather sooner than later.
You’re taking your second drag when the door behind you opens, and you move a little to the side to let the young man walk out. He gives you a shy smile and a nod to silently thank you, and you copy his polite gesture. But instead of walking away in the street, he remains under the shelter of the porch next to you, glancing inside through the glass door. He buries his hands in the pockets of his jeans.
“Waiting for someone too?” you ask him, trying to be nonchalant.
Actually, you’re a little uncomfortable that a stranger shares your hiding spot. He seems nice enough though. Dark hair. Tall. He gives you a shy smile.
“Yeah, waiting for a friend. Sorry, if I’m bothering you during your cigarette break.”
“No worries. I’m waiting for my roommate to go home.”
“Looks like we both have some lousy friends,” he jokes, and you decide that you like his smile.
He accepts the cigarette that you offer him, and he lights it up with your lighter. He inhales deeply the smoke, holding it in his lungs for a few seconds, before puffing it out in a white cloud. You can’t help but notice that he’s rather handsome doing that…
“Yeah… and I have a test tomorrow morning,” you go on, looking for a distraction as the stranger raises the cigarette back to his lips. “So, I will probably murder her if she doesn’t come out soon.”
He chuckles with you.
“You’re studying at university?” he asks, deciding that doing conversation is better than merely waiting in the cold night. He’s already half-soaked because of how small this porch is and how hard it rains.
“Literature.”
“Really? Kingston too?”
“Yes…”
“I’ve never seen you in class.”
“You’re studying English as well?”
“Yeah, junior year.”
“Oh… you’re one year ahead, that’s why!”
You take the last drag off your cigarette, and rub the incandescent tip against the sole of your shoe, making the blaze die out.
“You like it so far?” he asks.
It’s only November but it’s cold already, and you can see the white puff of air escaping his lungs as he speaks; it dances in the cold air and the golden light coming from the streetlamp a few feet away, along with the one shed by the pub.
“Yeah, it’s alright. You?”
“Sure.”
You don’t really know what to say, and you look for your friend again, who is still snogging her date…
“Which one is your lousy friend?” the stranger asks, looking inside as well.
“The blond one with a tongue in her throat, at the back.”
You don’t understand why he starts laughing. It’s loud and infectious though. You like it.
“Well, looks like we share the same doom. My friend is the one with his tongue in her throat.”
“Really?”
“Yep.”
You check your watch, heaving a sigh.
You look cute. It’s the first thought that comes to his mind as he looks at your annoyed expression. You’re crinkling your nose, and it’s adorable. He finds you pretty, even like this: clearly frozen, half-drenched, your hair and clothes dishevelled. Really pretty, actually…
“What a pair of morons,” you mumble under your breath. “I give them two more minutes before committing a murder.”
He can’t help but chuckle. You’re funny.
“I can be your alibi if you’d like,” he offers, making you laugh.
“Works for me.”
He’s about to speak again, ask about your name, yourself, what you like, if you’re free tomorrow night, but you’re faster than him. You blurt out a triumphant shout.
“Hallelujah! They’re standing up! We can go home!”
“A bloody miracle!”
He can’t help it. The way he’s kind of… disappointed. He takes one last drag out of his cigarette, staring at you and the way the golden light of the pub dances over your features.
A minute later and your friend and her date are finally in the street with you.
“Oh, Y/N! You haven’t met my boyfriend yet!” Cassie says, looking excited.
“Nope. Haven’t had the pleasure. But, huh… well, I’m Y/N,” you tell the dark-haired guy who’s still holding your friend’s hand.
He gives you a crooked smile, a little arrogant around the edges. He looks cute, you’ve got to admit. You do find his friend cuter though. You like the way he blushes now that all of you are cramped under the small space of the porch.
“Nice to meet, Y/N. I’m Jonathan. Oh, but… looks like you’ve met my friend already. Hmm, Cassie, this is Ben. We’re in the same year.”
He waves at her, and she greets him too. But Ben’s eyes land quickly on you again.
So… your name’s Y/N. That’s a cute name…
Tumblr media
You’re there.
He’s been trying to see you again for the past two weeks, but couldn’t find a way to reach you. You were never around when Jonathan met Cassie, and Ben wanted to talk directly to you, instead of asking to one of your friends. He’s been about to abandon this crazy idea of his, these past couple of days. But now… here you are…
You’re sitting at a table alone in the middle of the library; focused on a large book, he recognizes the cover even from afar. Poetry. He knows, he went through the same book the previous year. He can’t help an amused smile. It’s a rough class, you’ll struggle for sure, just like everyone does.
He takes a deep breath, trying to control his quickening heartbeat and the sudden shakiness in his hands.
Damn, you make him so nervous… and he has barely talked to you at all for now.
He can feel his cheeks reddening, the heat creeping up all the way to the tip of his ears, but he can’t help it, can’t fight it. Just like he can’t fight the way his heart stops when you look up at him.
You must have felt that he was staring, that’s why your eyes lifted from the yellowed pages to settle on him. He can’t look away anymore.
You’re terribly pretty. Damn… you make him so nervous.
He’s not good at this. But he’s got to try, because after a small frown, you seem to recognize him and you’re smiling. You’re smiling, bright and warm and welcoming.
Right… it’s nothing really. Worst case scenario, you’ll simply say you’re not interested in him at all, and your two lives will go on as if this never happened.
He forces a smile on his lips, clenches his fists behind his back to help calm his nerves.
You can see he’s nervous though. He’s shy, you can tell. You read it on his lips despite the smile that takes shape there; the gesture’s small but earnest. You see it painted in red over his nose and cheeks. You find it adorable, to be honest…
“Hi, Y/N,” he speaks in a shy voice, whispering as he doesn’t want to disturb the quiet of the library.
“Hi, Ben! It’s nice to see you again, especially not at 1am under the cold rain.”
“Yeah, it’s nice to see you too,” he answers with a breathy chuckle, and his smile is bigger now, merrier too. “Would you mind if I sat down with you?”
“No, not at all. Please, sit down.”
You move some of your pens and papers to the side so he can sit opposite you.
“I see you’re struggling in Barrows’s class too,” he teases you, nodding towards the book.
“Yeah… this class is complicated. But then, I feel like everybody is struggling as much as I am, so it must not come from me.”
“No, I struggled a lot with it too. I can help you, if you want.”
“Oh, that would be nice of you, thank you. But I don’t want to bother you...”
“You wouldn’t be bothering me, I’m offering. I’ve got about an hour before I need to leave, gives us plenty of time.”
“Okay, then. Thank you.”
Ben struggles at first to remember precisely what was taught in the class, but it comes back quickly as you ask him questions, and the two of you spend about half an hour studying. But then, the conversation drifts away from poetry; and it’s his fault really, he’s the one who makes a hilarious joke. The words you exchange change from literature to your favourite movie, to this play he’s seen a few weeks ago, to your love for stories, to his love for acting, to your mother and her funny habits, to his brother who’s growing up too fast to his liking. He is more relaxed now, the blushing has subsided, and you find him funny. There’s something gentle and kind in his gaze, you can feel he’s a nice guy.
The more the conversation goes on, the more you notice how handsome he is, and it’s hard to control your heartbeat when he intensely stares at you with these black eyes of his. You’re the one avoiding his gaze now, not as confident as you were when he arrived.
Damn, he makes you so nervous…
He checks his watch as you try to quieten your laughter against the palm of your hand, but you fail miserably to do so, and the student at the table next to yours sends you a glare.
Ben’s eyes grow round, and he suddenly jumps on his feet.
“Shit! I’m so sorry, I’m late.”
“Oh, yes, you said you had something… I’m sorry, I didn’t check the time.”
But he shoots you a reassuring smile, and you find it infectious; the gesture spreads across your lips as well.
“It’s not that bad, don’t worry. But I need to go.”
“I hope you won’t get into too much trouble…”
“No, don’t worry. I’m just meeting up with some friends for rehearsing.”
“Rehearsing? Rehearsing what?”
He smiles, red back to colour his cheeks, and he seems to hesitate before speaking.
“I play the drums.”
You quirk an eyebrow.
“Really?”
“Yeah, really.”
“Like… you’re any good?”
“Enough to play in the West End.”
“Wow… I have to admit I did not see this one coming.”
Ben’s standing by the table now, his bag haphazardly thrown on his shoulder, but he’s not moving yet, not even if he’s late. He doesn’t want to.
“Why? Not bad-boyish enough?” he chuckles, but you can see he’s only half-joking.
“Well, you’ve got to admit that… basic jeans and a plain blue jumper don’t really strike me as ‘drummer in a rock-band’ type of clothing,” you tease him.
“No, I guess not.”
You can’t believe you’re the one speaking the next words that pass your lips, but they still tumble out of your mouth, in a whisper so low you almost hope he doesn’t hear you.
“Despite the comfy clothes, it’s still quite sexy, though.”
But he’s heard you just fine. As proof, you’re staring at each other in silence for several seconds, both your heartbeats erratic, and your breathing a mess. Slowly, a smile curves up his lips, until he’s properly grinning.
“Well, then… if I use the argument that I’m a drummer… maybe you’ll find me interesting enough to go out with me this Friday?”
You struggle not to smile, but miserably fail. You look away to hide your reaction.
“Depends on what you have in mind, I guess.”
“Well… they’re playing When Harry Met Sally at a little cinema nearby. What do you say? The movie is at nine.”
“If we can grab a pizza before that, then I’m down for it.”
You exchange a grin.
“That could be arranged. Then… let’s say… seven thirty before your dorm?”
“How do you know where my dorm is?”
“Jonathan.”
“Oh… and Cassie?”
“Sadly, yes.”
You chuckle together, and you nod your head.
“Sounds good. I’ll see you on Friday, then.”
When he leaves, you watch him walking out of the library, with his blue jeans and navy jumper too big for him, and you can’t refrain a dreamy smile.
Looks like you’ve got a date…
Tumblr media
Your sides are painful, he makes you laugh too much.
He’s making silly voices to comment the TV show you’re watching on your tiny television screen. You’ve forgotten altogether what the show is about, Ben is too distracting. You don’t mind though. It feels good to laugh. Finals are over, summer is upon you. It’s a happy time to be alive. Night quiet, goofy boyfriend and warm clothes, with an empty pizza box discarded somewhere on the floor.
You’re cuddled into his side, with his hand on your waist and your head on his chest. It’s warm and safe in his embrace, you love the sound of his breathing against your ear, the way you shake a little as he laughs.
It’s peaceful and happy and you feel lucky to be with him.
“You’re insufferable, I can’t even watch TV with you,” you tease him; the grin on your lips and the laugh making your voice hoarse are enough to show you’re merely joking.
“What are you talking about? We are watching TV. If not, then what are we doing? Snogging? I wish…”
You playfully swat his shoulder.
“Perv!”
“You weren’t complaining last night.”
You fake outrage.
“Benjamin!”
“Yes, darling?”
You look at each other, before bursting into laughter.
“I’m joking!” he reassures you, before suggestively wiggling his eyebrows. “Unless you’re in the mood…”
You push him away, laughing some more. Actually, you push him so much he almost falls off your bed, and you have to pull him back towards you so he won’t fall.
You both gasp, before losing yourselves in an uncontrollable laughter.
It takes you two a while to finally calm down, both of you crying with laughter and struggling to breathe.
“Darling… you really will be the death of me,” says Ben, still struggling to catch his breath.
“Well, not your death… but your ticket to the hospital, probably…”
Before you can joke some more, you’re back into his arms. You don’t stop him when he pulls you close, you’re used to it. That’s his way of saying he cares.
He’s a little surprised when you kiss him. He thought you’d banter some more, he knows you like it. But instead of your playfulness, he’s met with your soft lips that taste like the sweet soda you’ve been drinking tonight. It’s not hard for him to forget about everything while you kiss him. No plans for the summer, no TV, no world outside your lips on his, your tongue teasing him, your hands in his hair, the soft fabric of your t-shirt, and the warmth of your skin as he cradles your cheek.
When you break away, you’re both out of breath.
Ben struggles to clear his throat, nose brushing against yours, eyes still closed.
“So… snogging then, huh?”
You laugh. You should speak about the summer, about what you’re going to do about your relationship in the coming months, but you don’t want to. This evening is too nice, you’re happy. Unbelievably so.
As you stare at him, getting lost in his dark eyes, you reckon that now is not the time for this serious talk. You’d rather bathe in the feeling of his embrace, of his lips upon yours. You’d rather linger for a while in this state, where you feel safe and cared for.
Instead of talking about plans, and obstacles, you choose merrier words, tender ones.
“Maybe I just love you.”
You see he’s surprised. After all, none of you have said it yet. You’re not worried though, he looks at you with too much tenderness for that.
“Well, maybe I love you too.”
You kiss while grinning, it’s messy and affectionate and it tastes of carelessness and a happiness you ought to hold onto while it lasts. It’s ephemeral, yet you wish it could last for a lifetime.
Tumblr media
“I can’t come on Saturday.”
“Oh… okay.”
“I’m sorry, darling.”
“That’s alright, love. It’s not your fault.”
“I have an audition for a play in the West End on Monday, I need to work as much as I can.”
“Do you want me to help you with your lines? We could practice.”
“Jonathan is going to help. It’ll be easier, the scene is between two guys. Besides, you haven’t taken any class about acting this year. I don’t mean to offend you but…”
“Jonathan has more experience, I get it. No need to worry. I need a little bit more than that to be offended.”
“I know… still… it makes me feel awful. It’s the third time in a row I’m cancelling a date night…”
“Hey, don’t worry about it. It’s alright, really. I get it. You need to get a job. I’m sure it’s going to work out. I’m expecting nothing less but a leading role for you, mister.”
Your voice is teasing, and you pull on the collar of his white shirt to drop a sweet peck on his lips, his stubble tickling your skin, but none of you are fooled.
You’re disappointed. Almost mad.
He feels guilty. Almost sad.
It’s not the first time it happens, you reckon it won’t be the last. You should not take it so seriously, and yet you do. You take this too seriously, because you haven’t had a proper date in over a month. You haven’t spent more than two nights together in three weeks. You’ve barely had a full conversation in the past few days.
You’re drifting apart. You’re drifting apart because he’s got all these things to do to get a job, and you’re still a student, and you don’t live with the same rhythms anymore.
Still, you love him. You’ll make it work.
“If your audition is on Monday, what if we have a pizza and a movie on Tuesday?” you offer, hugging him close, as if you’re scared he’s going to leave too soon.
“But you have classes early in the morning on Wednesdays…”
“It’s okay. I can skip one class, it won’t kill me. Cassie will give me all her notes. It’s just this once. It’s okay.”
“You’re sure?”
“Yeah, I’m sure. I’d rather spend my evening with you.”
He gives you a tender smile, taking you in his arms to hold you in a tight embrace, dropping sweet kisses on your hair.
You’re drifting apart.
Still, he loves you. He’ll make it work.
“Alright, then. Date night on Tuesday. And if I get this job, I’ll treat you to a nice restaurant. Would you like that?”
You enthusiastically nod, before burying your face in the crook of his neck.
You hold onto each other for a long time.
You’re drifting apart. It’s alright though. You’ll both make it work. You have to.

It’s funny how life works haphazardly sometimes, it would seem.
It’s random, really. The fact that you met, the fact that you crossed path again in this library, the fact that you fell in love with him, the fact that you have to say goodbye now.
Because you know already how this is going to end. You’re having a conversation, but you both already know all the arguments.
You’re flying to Dublin to get a job in a small newspaper, and he’s flying to Australia to play in a huge movie. He wants to focus on acting. You want to figure yourself out. It’s not that you don’t love him anymore, it’s just that you don’t want to sacrifice this opportunity for him. And it’s not that he has stopped loving you, it’s just that he wants to give his career a try. A reel one. And to do that, he needs to travel across the globe.
You’re barely out of college, you could feel it was coming. Ben has been working for a while now, and you know your worlds are not aligning as much anymore. Instead, they feel more like two strangers standing next to each other. They felt like an embrace before.
It’s been here for a while, the acknowledgment that this is not the right time for the two of you. You’re young, you love him but you’re not sure what you want. And he’s young, he loves you but he has dreams in his head he wants to catch before they pass out of reach. You’re lost, and he’s determined. You love him, and he loves you. But everything else in your lives have stopped matching a while ago.
He's got an opportunity, and an amazing one. And you have an opportunity as well. And the two are thousands of miles apart.
“We could give it a try,” he offers, but you can hear it in his voice that even he doesn’t believe in his own words.
“It’s never going to work,” you argue.
“No need to be so pessimistic about it.”
He reaches for your hand across the mattress. The sheets are soft under your palm. You wish you could resist him, but you can’t, and so you entwine your fingers together.
“I’m still in love with you,” Ben lets out in a shaky breath.
“I love you too. I think… I think I always will, in a way.”
You look up at the ceiling to prevent any tear from escaping. You don’t want to be crying. It would be silly. You knew it was coming, it has been there for months.
You’re not parting ways because he cheated, because he’s stopped loving you, because he’s a jerk, because he’s treating you badly...
He’s a sweetheart. He’s a nice guy. Your lives have drifted apart, that’s all. You’ve drifted apart. And it’s killing you, because you love him, but you can’t make it work.
“I don’t want this to be over,” he goes on, “but I don’t see any other way. Cause… cause it’s… we’ll never see each other, how can this work?”
“I know, Ben. I know. That’s why we need to stop this, before it goes sour. Before our love for each other becomes bitter because we’re frustrated with the distance, and your job, and mine, and our different goals… It’s alright. It’s not you. It’s not me. It’s not really our fault. We just… want different things. And no one can have everything they want in life.”
You’re right, and he knows it. Still, as he looks at you like this, on the verge of tears, with your fingers in his, with this sadness painted all over your features… he still loves you. He’s crazy about you, really.
But you’re right, and the two of you don’t want the same things. Still, he’s pretty certain he’s making the wrong choice right now. He knows he’ll regret this as soon as he’ll walk out of your bedroom, as soon as he’ll exit your dorm. He’ll regret this. But then again, he would regret not giving his career a chance too.
Which one is worse? He’s not sure. But he knows you’ve drifted apart. And it’s killing him, because he loves you, but he can’t make it work.
“I want… I want us both to be happy, you know that, right?” he says, his voice shaking. “I want… I want to give my career a try, and you want to take that job in Dublin, and I hope you know that I support you in this. I… You’re… you’ve always been fearless. And I want you to be free to do whatever you want in this life, I want you to find your own path. But above all, I want you to do whatever makes you happy. Do you understand? I support you in this, even if it means that we can’t be together, and I am not blaming you for it. It’s my fault as much as it is yours. Alright? Do you see what I mean?”
You nod, giving him a smile.
“Our lives are just… heading in opposite directions, but I really want you to be happy and brave and to do what you love most,” he repeats himself, as if to make sure you get it, as if he’s afraid you might imagine his feelings for you have changed, when they haven’t faltered at all. “Okay?”
Again, you nod, and silence settles in the room. You’re still holding hands, and you don’t want to let go, even when you speak once more.
“I don’t think we should stay friends, though,” you add, your voice shaking, but nonetheless, he doesn’t fail to recognize determination in your tone. “I mean… We still have feelings for each other. And we need to get on with our lives, get over this. And I don’t think I could get over you if we stayed in touch. So… I think it would be best if we broke up and… never saw each other again.”
He looks up at the ceiling to fight the tears that threaten to escape.
Outside, it’s raining. Late afternoon drenched with raindrops that paint strange patterns on the cold windowpanes. You haven’t turned on the light, despite the dark sky, and the light that comes in is dim, weak, almost trembling. You listen to the rain while Ben tightens his hold on your hand. You don’t want him to let go, but you know he will.
“Alright, as you wish.”
“I’m sorry…”
“Don’t be. I get it. I think… I think you’re right. In the end, it will be better if we don’t stay in touch.”
He doesn’t tell you that he simply… doesn’t want to get over you. Not yet, at least. But then, when he thinks about it, he reckons it’s normal. It’ll pass. Soon, he’ll want to get over you.
It’ll pass…
He gets up all of a sudden, without warning. He lets go of your hand, like you knew he would. It hurts the same, whether you were prepared for it or not…
He puts on his coat, bends to pick up his black umbrella stranded on the floor. Outside, it’s still raining. You hear someone shouting. Cars in the distance. A whole world you’re aware of.
He walks to the door, and he doesn’t turn around one last time when he speaks again. He knows you’re looking at him, he can feel your stare on his back. He knows he won’t have the strength to look at you like that…
“Goodbye, darling.”
Before you can reply, he’s opened the door, walked out, and disappeared.

HI THERE!! Can you write general romantic headcanons or a short scenario with bayverse crosshairs x reader? Ty! :)
Hi!! Thank you for being my first request! I tried to keep this gender-neutral so if I made a mistake I’m so sorry! I wrote a short scenario, but it was becoming too long so I did headcanons. Lmk if y’all want the scenario!
Proofread: no so there may be a few mistakes

Crosshairs x gn!human!reader
Romantic headcanons:
- You were best friends with Cade since childhood and Tessa considered you to be like the cool aunt/ uncle. You did everything with her that her dad couldn’t like shopping and giving her relationship and friendship advice. Lucas was more of the weird, but funny uncle. When things went down and you guys were saved by Optimus, that’s when you met Crosshairs. It was after the battle that you guys finally started your relationship.
- To be honest, he thought you were just a random person when Optimus brought you to the group. Until he heard you talking with Tessa and Shane. He saw how protective and motherly/fatherly you were with them.
- He knew you were different at that point.
- He LOVES taking you for high-speed drives. He loves hearing you shriek when he speeds up when you were talking about something that bothers him because you push yourself into the driver's seat so nicely. It feels like a hug from the inside :)
- He’s a great listener and conversationalist. Enjoys all your conversations except when you get insecure about your relationship.
- He doesn’t know what to say other than telling you how important your life is to him.
- Is the type to unironically say you're his sparkmate.
- When he’s in his human form, he loves putting you on his shoulder.
- One time he got in an argument with Bumblebee while you were on his shoulder and he was getting a lil too heated so you had to pull his head towards you and he instantly calmed down.
- Definitely goes “yer lucky they’re right here or I woulda brought the pain.”
- Calls you ‘doll’ or ‘kid’ but when it’s just you two he calls you his sparkmate.
- Obviously super protective of you and if he has to he’ll speed his ass out of trouble with you buckled in the driver seat.
- Your guys’ banter is quite the thing to hear. Like anyone around thinks you’re an old married couple.
- Does not give a shit what the other autobots or people think cause he straight up loves you so much that nothing else matters when he looks at you.
- You guys rarely fight… Except the one time you sided with Bee and he felt so betrayed that he wouldn’t talk to you for a whole day and that was pure torture for you. HOWEVER he forgave you when you came crying to him crying cause you had a klutzy moment and tripped and got hurt. He was in a panic that he immediately forgot he was mad and took you on a drive.
- loves when you give him kisses on his face too like he’s a sucker for them.
- Loves taking you to scenic places just to watch the sunset.
- When Crosshair loves, he loves hard. You’ll never be rid of him.
