Sometimes I think about the Caramelldansen situation (if you don't know watch this it's genuinely one of my favorite videos of all time) and I just. can't believe the whole caramella girls thing actually worked. or even really understand why they committed to it so hard. it seems like they actually have a fandom! which is great! but i still don't get why there's such a kayfabe around where the original song came from?? or which version it is? or what year it was released? just. every claim made in this video baffles me, including the insinuation that jan Misali is like. trying to besmirch the good name of the caramella girls or something. lmao.
