and one of the comments was like “omg this is so good is there gonna be a part 2??? cuz that is an illegal cliffhanger” and the author was like “omg yes thank you there’ll be a part 2!! i only marked it as completed because people avoid unfinished fics”

i fucking LOVE reading unfinished fics cuz that means i get to write comments about how much i loved the latest chapter without irrationally worrying that something i say will be disproven in the next already existing chapter LMFAO like it’s fun!!! all you gotta do is:

write a short summary of what happened in your bookmarks and note down what chapter it’s on out of how many, eg. gojo gets hit with suguru coffee blast meet cute 1/?

i even try liking kpop casually but it just feels like something not for my age group anymore considering that they are barely debuting adult aged idols theres no one my age debuting in kpop anymore. it just seems that in todays world fame is everything and i dont want that to tbe the only reason why id ever want to do anything of that sorts like yet its the inly thing ppl seem to get recognition for for instance if celeb or idol dies its all over the news and they get such overreaction in the media for it so it wouldnt matter if i wasnt here bc no one seems to really need me for anything. that or situations just i had, had no explanation for it and i mean really bizzarre and unhelpful ones or just stupid gossip wherever i went and it sounds like im making this up or being woeful or victim mentality whatever the term is nowadays

i had one situation in 2003 that just had no explanation for it either and since then it got weirder and more alienating since i was the only one who saw them no one wouldve believed me anyway. no it wasnt aliens it was just two weirdo guys filming me then they ran off soon as i went inside where we were staying, yeah such a perfectly normal expeirnece for somoene my age then someone like maddie mccann winds up missing and dead years later sometimes i wish it couldve been me instead. im guessing its sketchy cult stuff too bc those somehow exist too even in this society.

i want to do something real but theres nothing real abt it anymore bc its all done on a screen, its like i dont even need the basics of my brain anymore either bc theres google, calculators and maps that do it all for us. heck i dont even need to put thought into anything anymore. thoughts have been put in short forms of tweets, blog posts and instagram pics or tiktok reels, words have been replaced with gifs and emojis

the only celeb i truly admire for both his talent and ability to stay away from the internet is cillian murphey why cant they all be like that? theyre rich enough to not need the internet to stay in touch with random hate comments and backlash that they get on the daily basis, same goes for idol groups tbh. ok maybe they arent all rich but again why cant ppl ever feel content with just the basics?

then i often think well it wont matter once im dead but it shouldnt have mattered anyway cause living should come easier to ppl. yet its like if u fail once u have failed for life bc theres little to no other options since everything rests on grades or experience or talent anyway and ppl who often make it worse for itherw get away with it too... just like my friend who was beaten up. yeah school is basically hell and they havent made it any easier either so i dont know what im supposed to care about long enough for me to do so that i wouldve been happy doing it

i watched a beautiful video the other day of a 102 year old dancer from the 1900s and i was thinking wow how different their entertainment was to nowadays, where it was more lively and simpler less formatted and wasnt about ppl trying to be tiktok famous in short periods of time and most of all the dancers back then actually seemed happy compared to where its forced happiness bc we r all glued to screens for our brief momentary entertainment and distraction from the world. im also obsessed with a certain place of another time period that i will never ever get to do but it jsut always seem like history repeat itself in this world. wars pandemics and so on. couldnt we just have one normal year or is it always going to be so dramatic and less calm and relaxing? even kpop like look at all the junky drama surrounding many groups yet i also dgaf about it anymore but wth is going on with that why cant kpop also have one normal year without negative overreactions from their fan bases?

It's all fake and that's why don't focus on the Media too much, you don't know how bad they are living their lives off cameras , I know the sense of feeling not belonging in a generation is the worst but what can we do about it? This is life and me personally I think we should spend it with people that we love in real life , family , friends, going out enjoying life and don't overthink anything whatever is gonna happen will happen don't make yourself tired by things that won't serve you anyway, live the real life have friends and enjoy the moment don't this too much about the future because nobody knows if they are gonna be able to see tomorrow or not , live everyday of your life like it's the last day of it .

Start searching for something that gives you happiness, something real , something you can build yourself again from , no matter what is but build a life that can serve you , anything you want on your mind do it if it's hard face it and win over it , what I learned in life that there's nothing impossible

Who's your favourite character?

for genshin, its without a doubt xiao. ive mostly lost interest in the game (but that obsession will probably come back in a few months stronger than ever, just give it some time to cook lol), however he still has a special place in my heart, y'know? like, i wasnt that much of a fan before i found out how fucking bad his english translation was (no offence to laila, though. she's a sweetheart i just dont think she was a good choice for him :/). i also adore his chinese VA, kinsens voice is so good!

A few honorable mentions would be: venti, zhongli, guizhong, gorou, scara, yanfei and yelan

hsr is also a very quick answer lol. its yanqing! i first found out about him from the joke that he was xiaoaether's kid, since im very fond of that ship. and even when i started playing, something about him just made me love him, and i wanted to get him as the free five star (and i did! hes my strongest character yet). to me, hes very much "some kid" but thats what i like about him, hes charming, hes cute and has alot of story potential.

for me, if you want the most honest answer to the most recent books i bought... the two most recent books i bought were The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy With Autism and Nickel and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By In America for my ap english class AJDKCHKSSGJF but for a more fandom-y answer, i recently bought volume 2 of spyxfamily.

Wilbur blinks, snapped out of his reverie—or perhaps it was a disassociation, actually—as he pulls his eyes away from a very loud food vendor, and towards his brother.

Tommy stares up at him, looking both expectant and pretentious.

Wilbur blinks again. “What?”

“I said I want a goldfish.” Tommy says this bluntly, with hardly any emotion at all. He says it as plainly as someone making a comment about the weather, or someone asking a question about someone else’s cat. 

Wilbur’s brow furrows. “What?”

Tommy sighs. “One of those little yellow guys. Or I guess they’re orange.” He goes quiet for a moment. “Yeah, they’re orange.”

“Tommy- what fish? Where-“

Tommy points forward, and Wilbur follows until his eyes reach a little carnival game (he can’t tell what exactly the point of it is). There’s rows of tiny goldfish, each one placed in a plastic bag filled with water, lining a shelf behind the game. 

Wilbur nods slowly. “Oh. Those goldfish.”

“Yes, those goldfish. They’re right in front of you. Idiot.”

Wilbur narrows his eyes.

Tommy takes a deep breath, still gazing at the fish. “I want one, Wil.”

“Okay. I’m hungry; why don’t we go get a churro?”

“Willllll!”

Wilbur sighs loudly. “What?”

“I don’t want a churro! I want a goldfish.”

“Well, alright then. You can go and get one.”

“But I have to win to get one.”

“So?”

Tommy lowers his chin. “I don’t think I’m very good at winning carnival games.”

Wilbur sighs, this time more gently than before. He knows it’s true; Tommy can’t win a carnival game to save his life. It’s usually Wilbur who plays them—or takes over playing once it becomes clear that Tommy is hopeless. 

“Okay.” Wilbur glances from Tommy to the rows of fish, pausing a moment before turning back. “Look, you can at least… try, can’t you? You can do that?”

Tommy dips his chin even lower. “I’m just gonna waste money.”

“But at least you’d try,” Wilbur replies, a bit exasperatedly. “It’s fine if you waste- it’s fine if you use a little money.”

“But Techno said that we should try to save as much as possible.” Tommy says this with wide eyes that look more fitting on a young child than a fifteen year old.

Wilbur scoffs. “Who cares what Techno thinks? We’re at a carnival, Tommy. We can use as much money as we want.”

“Oh. Really?”

“Yeah, man. Don’t worry about it.”

“Oh.” Tommy blinks at the ground, taking in this new information. Then he looks up, squinting. “But I still don’t think I’d win. And then I wouldn’t get my goldfish.”

“It’s not your goldfish if you don’t even have it yet.”

“Is too!” Tommy furrows his brow at this, standing up taller. “It’s my goldfish and her name is Clementine!”

“Wh… okay.” Wilbur looks away, placing his hands on his hips as he gives a quiet shake of his head. “Fine. Whatever. Your goldfish.”

“Clementine.”

“Your goldfish,” Wilbur repeats. 

Tommy nods.

Tommy huffs. Wilbur was right, though; the sun really is shining, streaming through the window and making everything look all bright and yellow. It hurts a little bit to look at, but Tommy likes it anyway. It's a lot better than storm clouds. Those just suck. And they piss.

"Hey Wilbur, do you ever think about how storm clouds, just... piss? Like, that's all they do?"

"No."

Tommy furrows his brow. "Well then you're not a critical thinker."

"What the heck does that mean, Tommy," Wilbur sighs, digging through the drawer in the nightstand. 

Tommy shrugs. "I don't know. You should- you should ask the storm clouds."

He says the last part in a laugh, and Wilbur's mouth twitches. "Just get ready, Tommy."

Wilbur starts, pulling his hands away and casting bleary ears on his father, standing in front of him. Phil looks worried. "You okay, mate?"

"I-" Wilbur closes his mouth, then opens it, shaking his head. "I don't-"

"You look pale. You- you're hungry, aren't you?"

"Yes." Sometimes Wilbur hates the things that come out of his mouth.

"Well, here you go. Another bowl of soup." Phil sets a bowl onto the table, a plain wooden one. One that won't break. 

Wilbur swallows.

"I can get you some crackers if you want," Phil continues. "Or a glass of- actually, you need some water. Wait one second."

Phil leaves without another word, folded wings casting shadows as he walks. Wilbur looks down at the wooden bowl, filled with soup. Carrot, potato, broth. It smells delicious. Absolutely wonderful.

Wilbur looks away. 

"Here you go," Phil chirps, walking back in with a cup of water in his hand, which he sets down next to the bowl, sliding them both towards Wilbur's seat. "I've already eaten, but I'll keep you company if you want me to. Even... Wil?"

Wilbur chews on his lip, looking away from the soup, away from the table, away from Phil. He feels sick. He's so hungry. He feels sick. 

"Wilbur? Is everything okay? I can leave if you want; I don't have to stay." A pause. "Mate?"

"I'm not hungry anymore," Wilbur strains, pushing the bowl of soup away. 

"Wh... that doesn't... you were just hungry, Wil."

"I- I don't... want it."

Phil blinks. "Yes you freaking do."

"Phil, please, just-!" Wilbur turns, slamming his fist onto the table and making himself jump with the loudness of it. "I don't- I don't really need... I don't-"

"This isn't because you broke the bowl, is it?"

Wilbur presses his lips together.

Phil sighs. "Wilbur, listen: I don't give a crap about that bowl. Okay? I really don't. When I heard glass shattering, the only thing that crossed my mind was whether you'd gotten hurt or not. I could not care less about a stupid piece of dish-ware, alright?" 

A moment passes without any words spoken. 

Phil leans closer. "You believe me, right?"

"I don't- I don't know." Wilbur puts his elbows back on the table, setting his chin on his hands. "I'm just so sorry, Phil."

"It's okay."

"I'm so sorry I broke it."

"It's o- hey, stop beating yourself up about this, okay? I don't freaking care."

"I know, I know, I'm just- I'm still so... I'm so..." Wilbur's chest heaves as he stutters in a breath, shaking his head back and forth. He looks at the bowl of soup, steam no longer rising from its surface. Cold. It's cold now, lying abandoned on the table. Then he looks at Phil; the hybrid is leaning forward, brow furrowed and eyes filled with concern. A strand of blond hair drifts in front of his face. Phil doesn't swipe it away. 

Wilbur begins to smile, which horrifies him only a little. "I feel sick. And it's because of a bowl of soup."

"Sick? Is-is-is your- here, let me feel-"

"Not that kind of sick." Wilbur lets out a chuckle, humorless and cold. Phil freezes, halfway between rising out of his chair. "It's a different kind, Phil. Gosh, I feel so terrible. I'm so-"

Wilbur's breath hitches. His smile falls off his face as suddenly as it had appeared. "I'm so broken."

Phil sits back down, slowly. "Hey. Wil. Look at me."

"I'm so broken," Wilbur repeats, staring at the table as he shakes his head, hands pressed against his cheeks. "I'm so broken, Phil. I can't- I break a dish and almost have a panic attack. That's not- normal, Phil. I don't- I don't-"

"Hey, hey. Calm down. You're okay."

"I'm not okay! Don't you hear me?" Wilbur pulls his hands away, resting his palms on the table as he makes eye contact with his father. Phil gazes at him evenly, expression carefully controlled. Wilbur breathes in roughly. "I'm broken. I'm just like the bowl, I-I-I fell apart, and now I'm just scattered pieces, and they're too small to be put back together. Don't you... I'm broken, Phil. And I don't- I don't want to be, I don't..."

Wilbur shuts his eyes tight. "I don't want to be broken. I really don't want to be broken, but I am, and I don't... want to, Phil."

i dont rly hate florida i just think its funny 2 hate it. ive beej twice and both times were fun aside from So fucking hot and humid like of the devil. and bugs... but ya. i like the beaches the atlantic is my good friend I DID nearly get eaten by gators not rly but kinda bc um. last time i went with my gran we went innertubing in this river that was like super red right. it was like the minerals or somrthing. so i was in the litle floatie having fun and then its time 2 get off and theres a little dock on the right side. I suddenly remember im not a good swimmer. im trying 2 doggy paddle over Failing oh god oh god everybodys yelling at me. i miss it. i keeo going. Suddenly the river is not cleared 4 ppl to be swimming in theres branches everywhere underwater etc im getting hit in the stomach my hairs grtting caught in branches i think idr i mightve been bald at the time. if i had hair it was getting tangled ok. harrowing. and then up ahead theres a fork in the river ajd i go left and atp im expecting 2 just fucking die yk. so im floating still getting hit by branches Cljnging to my floatie 4 life im like My fucking phone is with my family so how tf. am i going to let anybody know where i am if i do ever get out of this fucking river. but anyways so im flosting and MERCY i see kayakers and theyre like !? and im like crying and theyre like Omg come over here and theres a little like. concrete dock thing so i climb up on it and one of the kayakers let me borrow their phone to text my family basically. and then i found out if i had gone on the right side That leads to a big reservoir that has a ton of gators in it so i lmwouldve for sure been eatej probably. so yeah. my 2nd water related near desth experience in florida.. maybe i should stay away from there. anyways aside from that rhere were these cool springs they were so cold but it was fun ^_^ i also drove a truck 4 a little bit (just in my grans friends yard i was judt helping move it)

caitlin doughty (of ask a mortician and order of the good death and death in the afternoon fame) was born in hawaii and im a huge fan of hers soooo yeah. aside from that i think hawaii should be free and death to america basically. itis very beautiful i will never go bc i think the tourism industry is of the fucking devil in hawaii.. so yes. i highly recommend looking into the cause and donating if u can.. on a deeply unserious note i also think of like..elvis and lilo and stitch. and elvis makes me think of my granny bc she loved elvis so theres that. one year 4 christmas my dad got her an elvis themed set of 3 mugs and she had this huge elvis blanket that was rly comfy we used to push the couches together in her room to make a like. boat kinda dhape and all the cousins would sleep in there it was fun. thats not rly hawaii related at all but i usually slept with the elvis blanket.

A/N: One of my favorite things that I’ve written, ever. I love Mallek and he’s for sure one of my favorite Friendsim characters. When I wrote this I was really feeling those Quarantine Woes

You didn't know what you were doing here. You felt out of place in the worst possible ways. It was a weird, squidgy feeling like stepping on wet grass. But not like the fun kind where you were running around in a sprinkler on a hot-as-balls summer day. No, this was the bad kind of wet grass that you stepped on without knowing it was wet. Why weren't you wearing shoes?

This analogy is stupid. The point is, you're feeling bummed out.

And what better way to not have to deal with that than hang out with someone you knew wouldn't push you into talking about all the ways crashing on this planet sucked! The point is, you're on your way to see Mallek. Mallek is absolutely the kind of friend who can tell when you just need to sit down and veg out. You had been so caught up in everyone else's bullshit that you weren't looking after your own damn self. So now you were doing that.

All it took was a quick text, asking Mallek if he had any company. He texted back only a moment later with a no, obviously not. You asked him if he wanted any. Not really. You ask him if you can come over anyway. Obviously.

You smiled at the palmhusk in your, well, palm. You could already feel the chill vibes of your hacker friend. Friend? Was that the right word for it? You didn't know anymore. When you first met there were definitely some sparks there. You could still feel them now and it made weird butterflies flutter around in your stomach. When you slapped his phone out of his hand and he sent you ass over applecart into the slimy depths of sewer water and he saved you, tits out and all.

You shook off the weird wistful feeling of maybe possibly crossing the friendship barrier and told him you'd walk to his hive. You'd been moping in some bookhive, not your usual hang-out spot with Tagora or Tyzias. This was some upper caste bookhive with purple bloods and some indigos and definitely not where you were welcome if the looks you were getting were any indication. They ranged from snooty to downright murderous. Yeesh.

Your phone -palmhusk, stupid troll names- beeped again. You got another text from him and those cheery fucking butterflies were back. God, you had it bad.

And like a good little friendsimp. You park your ass on a chair and wait. You hadn't released your moping had taken up most of the night. But with the quick look around, yeah, no, this place was nearly empty by now. Just some older bluebloods trying to cram before their Ordeals and get shipped off-planet. Again: Yeesh.

You kept your ears open for the telltale sound of Mallek's limo. It was a sound you were getting used to these days. He always seemed ready to drop whatever coding shit he was working on to come to see you. You tried not to think too hard on what that might mean. No need to get your hopes up now. It's probably just your bad mood making you imagine some context where there's nothing. Yeah.

Damn, that shit hurted.

Just as you were about to add that to the reasons you were considering just screaming your lungs out who cares whose listening? you heard the wonderfully familiar sound of an approaching elongated scuttlebuggy. If that wasn't enough of a clue as to who the ride was for the quiet of the bookhive was very abruptly disturbed by a series of rhythmic beeps.

Holy shit was that the Tetris theme?

You shoved your palmhusk into your hoodie pocket and yanked the hood over your head. Even if the sun was only out a little bit you didn't want it anywhere near your freshly healed skin. You had no kind cowgirl to nurse you back to health right now if you got your asscheeks baked by the flaming death orb. You peeked your head out and even with the blinding light of Alternia's suns you could Mallek had opened the door and was waiting for you.

Aw. No, shit. You're in a bad mood don't get all heart eyes at him. Don't make it weird.

You took a few steps back into the bookhive, ready to make a run for it. You turn to a sitting indigoblood, who is just staring at you disdainfully for keeping the door open. You give her a two-fingered salute. Godspeed young cosmonaut. She gives you a one-fingered salute. Close the door you insufferable bulgebiter. Fair.

Taking a running start, you book it out into the heat of the Alternian sun and dive for the open car door. It's then that you realize he's halfway parked on the sidewalk to lessen the amount of time you'd have to spend in the sun. Aw. That also means that you came barreling like a cannonball at something that was like two feet out of the door. FUck.

Your face meets carpet and you can already feel the rugburn starting to set in. You hear a startled wheezy laugh from above you, a sound you know better than anyone else on this planet. You smile. It's not like you had any dignity to begin with.

You say hello to him as you peel yourself off of the floor of his car.

"Hey, there robobuddy. You stuck the landing this time," He smiles down at you as he reaches over you to shut the door, closing the space out from natural light and leaving you both lit by his colorful LEDs. You shrug and tell him you've been getting a lot of practice landing on your face these days. The look he gives you is still smiling but there's some level of disbelief at the dumbassery that is your whole existence.

"I know you can get yourself into it. Nothing too bad this time, though, right? No drones or broken bones?" He sounds concerned which is nice but he doesn't drown you with his concern. He leans back on the bench of his limo, keeping an eye on you as the vehicle begins to move on its own. You've been staying out of big messes but the little messes are starting to mess with you. He makes a sound of understanding the sounds as it comes from deep in his chest. Whoa. "Believe me, I've been there. Glad you're not cracking under it though."

He smiles and you can see his little fang and you can feel your heart melt a little. And also you're getting a bit teary-eyed and now Mallek looks alarmed. Shit. You try to quickly explain that you're fine, just, alien allergies am I right? He must be using some new air freshener to mask the musty smell of his limo. Since doesn't use it enough. Ha ha?

He isn't buying it.

With a rare show of cerulean prowess, he lifts you up off of the shitty car rug and sets you on the seat beside him. He feels uncomfortable and you can tell. Ah, goddammit you made it weird. You didn't mean to. Fuck. Fuck now you're feeling even worse. You thought you were starting to balance out. You're with Mallek now, shouldn't everything start to quiet down like it always does? Fuck. He doesn't say anything at first, just leans back against the seat and stretches his arms across it, letting you lean on him if you choose to.

...You choose to.

Your head finds itself somewhere between his shoulder and his collarbone, and you just. Shove your face there. Then scream.

To his credit, Mallek doesn't even flinch. He doesn't wince or shy away from you as you let out every bit of anger, sadness, and frustration out against his sweater. He just sits quietly, staring straight at the blacked-out windshield. You get the feeling he's needed to do this more than once.

Screw this planet. Screw everything about it that makes all of your friends suffer. Why can't you just get them away from all this bullshit?! Why do you have to deal with everyone's bullshit! You love them, you do but holy fuck they're looking to you like you can undo all the damage this place has done to them when you've got literally no god damn idea what's happening at any point ever!

And then, just like that, it fades into the background. Your throat hurts. Your head hurts and you think you might be crying. But it feels lighter. Better now that you've gotten some of that aggression out. You aren't like the trolls on Alternia. You can't kill people when you experience an Emotion™. But that doesn't mean you don't get pent up with rage.

Mallek realizes that now. He lets out a breath he didn't realize he was holding and his left hand slowly moves down from the back of the seat the rest against your back. His thumb brushes against your back, the claw drawing little patterns against the fabric of your sweater. His sweater. He tries not to think his sign your chest. This isn't the time.

"Feeling any better?" He asks and you don't know how to answer. You kinda don't want to. But you nod anyways, and you feel some tension leave his body. You knew he was worried about you. You apologize for making him witness your meltdown but he just makes another deep-chested hum. "Nothing to apologize for. I got the feeling you weren't feeling great. I could tell from the texts, you didn't use nearly enough ugly emojis."

You scoff and smack a hand against his chest and once again you hear that wonderful laugh from him. Hey! Your purrbeast emojis are adorable, thank you very much! And you'll not hear another word of it or else you'll send him pictures of rocks and rocks exclusively. No more memes.

"Jokes on you I'm into that shit." You laugh and thump your head against his collarbone. You thank him for being with you when were needed it. And picking you up to make sure you didn't deal with it alone. You don't want to make it weird but...yeah.

He doesn't respond this time, just letting you both enjoy the silence and the comforting sound of the engine. You should almost be at Mallek's apartment by now. It's as you're settling in for the last bit of the drive that you notice that the limo isn't moving. And hasn't been for a while. Your head pops up in confusion and the little GPS display on the back of one of the seats says... yep.

You're already at Mallek's.

But then why is the engine still on? That can't be good for the environment. Do these things even run on gas or is it bugs? Bug gas? Gross.

You notice then that the rumbling is coming from behind you. Like. From where Mallek is sitting. He doesn't look away when you turn to him, just kind of tilting his head to the side with a little bit of a cerulean hue to his cheeks. Oh. Oh, the sound is coming from him. He's purring. That's.

That's adorable.

You feel yourself soften even more when he lifts his arms, silently offering a hug if you want it. Is this platonic? Is this more? You've never had too much trouble identifying what people wanted from you. (Debatable.) If was overtly flushed you could shut it down or divert it to something very much friends only. (Like your every exchange with Zebruh.) But did you even want to do that to your hackerman? You could feel yourself screaming, no, absolutely not. But at the same time, you didn't want things to change. You didn't want to make his issues any worse than they already were. He didn't have too much longer on the planet and you knew it would tear him apart.

But then he turned those blue eyes to you. He looked just as unsure as you were but he was willing to take the risk. He shoved himself so far out of his comfort zone for you and was asking you to be selfish. To want something for yourself and do something for yourself. Not put him or anyone else's wants first. Just your own. And so you did.

You crawled up into his lap, pressed yourself as close to him as you could and clung to him. His arms didn't hesitate to wrap around you and you could feel a shuddering breath from above you.

"We don't have to put a label on this... not yet. Or ever. Either way is chill with me. I just... yeah." He gave up with a little shrug of his shoulders but you knew what he meant. Unless you could find a way to fight fate he was going to go off-world. He was going to leave you and you doubted you'd be able to go with him. You'd probably get gored by a drone for even trying.

But even if it was just for now, just for a moment, you were going to take it. You were going to let yourself have something, have someone who would care for you no matter how long or short your time was. You'd take it. You had stomached some of the most horrible things on this planet but Mallek had always been a constant. And you got the feeling he thought the same way about you.

So, you'd take it. Whatever comes next, you'd take it. You listened to the sound of his purring, in no hurry to move to get inside the apartment. Mallek felt the same.

You exhaled.

You would be okay.

So I posted screenshots bc I knew the other half of the world, the one with everyone else in it, would feel as alienated as I did. HMMMMMMMM how do I do that indeed, the basics are honestly what you’d find on any basic tutorial about drawing a face (circle, cross in the middle of it, build the face around that - I really still can’t avoid that step and probably never will). As for the expressions, to be honest with you my way of going about them is thinking them up in emoji/kaomoji form first and then go from there. Emojis and kaomojis have to simplify expressions to the max since it’s such a simple format, right? But they’re still super expressive and convey exactly what they’re trying to say with one single glance, so using them as some kind of reference sheet has helped me a lot in figuring out what’s essential to express what I’m trying to say - still working on it though! I’m rarely satisfied with my expressions, they really do make or break a drawing don’t they............ you never stop learning, I guess!
