May I ask more about your AU please? I adore links meet aus and love seeing everyone’s different takes on them

Oh u have NO clue what u just unlocked 😭

And its all cool dw abt it!! I have been just aching to talk abt this au i have

So buckle in this one gonna be a ride, and im gonna summarize it to be the shortest i possibly can 😀

So my story starts with the goddess hylia finding that in the current time period shes in, ganon has yet again awoken and is wreaking havoc on today’s hyrule. Only, she finds herself in a predicament because a worthy hero has not been born yet, and she refuses to choose just anyone. She finds herself in a sacred shrine full of stories of heroes past, and in this temple the fierce diety is sealed away, awaiting a new host (new link). She decides to attempt to summon just one link who happens to be Wild. Only, the prayer she is doing goes awry because ganon causes a sudden earthquake that shakes the land and destroys everything in its wake, and this earthquake causes hylia to accidentally summon the fierce deity who is rapidly looking for a host. Upon learning that he was summoned by ganon, the fierce deity summons EVERY link that has a story written in the stained glass of the temple (cue super mario 64 paintings type thing). After a lot of commotion and argument because all of the links are scrambling and frightened after very suddenly being taken from their worlds and timelines, Hylia tells them that she must find the Hero of Today, and it will be a tough decision for her. Upon hearing this, every link stands up to sacrifice themselves to be the host yet again of the fierce deity for this timeline. Only due to their spirits, they all end up getting in a huge argument over who deserves to be the Hero of Today more. After witnessing this act of selfishness, hylia chooses to force them to all work together and gather a fragment of ganon’s essence (and if the link doesnt have a ganon, they gather that villain’s essence anyway since its similar to ganons) from each of their worlds, meaning that they must all go through their adventures again to gather this fragment of ganon. At the end, they will put all the fragments together and create a hylian beast for the fierce deity to take over and defeat ganon.

So cue all the links going in an order through their adventures (the games) again to gather the fragments of ganon. Through these adventures they use their abilities, like Time’s time traveling capabilities so they dont have to start at the very beginning of their adventure, and twilight’s ability of connecting to other worlds and so on and so forth. They have their conflicts amongst each other of course and even fail their tasks twice leading them to have to start all over again. After each of their adventures each link usually comes back a better person (and teary eyed or full on sobbing) and eventually they work together smoothly. After gathering all the fragments of ganon, they come back to the temple to summon the beast with hylia and the fierce deity. The beast alone with the fierce deity alone is just short of defeating ganon, so the links all use their newfound connection to defeat the ganon of today. After he is finished, hylia seals away ganon and uses her abilities to keep him away for good until the next link and zelda are born.

The goddess hylia congratulates the links and sees that they have all truly come back changed. They are all crowned the Heroes of Today, and their legacies will live on for as long as Hylia exists. After a teary goodbye, all the links are returned to their worlds as better people than they were before.

Whew, long story 😅 but i have been having this idea for so long and am lowkey considering turning it into a comic. Zelda is my current hyperfixation, so i may just do it and flesh out these links even more.

she’s very gentle with you! definitely not as much as someone like mipha, but she’s very careful not to accidentally hurt you

urbosa doesn’t hug you often, but she shows physical affection in other ways. i.e. gently pulling you to lean on her when sitting down, keeping a hand on the small of your back, running her hands through your hair (if she can), etc.

she’s actually really good with kids! even before she became chieftain, she liked hanging out + playing pretend with them

something really cool about urbosa that the kids like is that she treats them with high respect and talks to them like adults!!! (but very sensitive adults at that; she doesn’t tease them much. kids deserve kindness and you bet she’s gonna fulfill that)

she prefers long hours of sleep + waking up late. so if it’s a chill day when you’re not needed for anything, she’ll stay with you in bed for hours

I think when you and Yamaguchi first met there was a bit of silence at first but little by little the conversations became more as both of you became close you were louder around each other.

When you guys started dating he first took you on a roller-skating date and he was surprisingly very good for explaining to you he had no experience in the early stages of meeting. The truth is he went the week before to practice with Tsukishima to practice with you and he has many bruises to prove it.

I think you and Yamaguchi match outfits sometimes because he has a similar style to you. A lot of times if he goes out he always brings something back he’s seen on the way that you’ll like.

I think Tsukishima makes fun of your height more than often but Yamaguchi is quick to tell you he thinks it’s fine and cute and that he should leave you alone. Note he will blush while doing so and ruffle your hair to kind of shield his embarrassment in a way.

I think Yamaguchi favorite type of date to take you on is a book shop date and after he’ll take you to a café so you can read and munch on something.

Yamaguchi will ask you to teach him to cook and bake things. If you touch him while demonstrating he’s going to turn red and mostly hum while trying his best to pay attention.

He’ll surprise you with the recipes you’ve taught him and so much more because I think he naturally has a knack for baking sweet treats.

I think when Yamaguchi needs comfort he requests you read to him of you’re up to it, he won’t push you to. He especially likes it if you let him lay his head in your lap and brush through his hair, its relaxing for him.

When you need comfort I think Yamaguchi will make you snacks and put on a documentary he had found and saved for both of you to watch. He’ll listen to you talk while holding you and give you a soft kiss on the forehead for reassurance.

I think Yamaguchi accidently ruined one of your books and instead of telling you first he kind of panicked and bought you a new copy and several other books he thought you’d like or had been on your reading list.

Yamaguchi got addicted to the games you introduced him to so much that he asks very often if you’ll lay against his chest while he plays If you’re not up to it.

He likes being near you and dedicated a lot of time to cuddles with soft music in the background, he really appreciates having you in his arms.

It's an AU where Ladybug and Chat Noir are actually enemies but then Chat Noir accidentally befriends Marinette and then drama etc etc etc.

rain - G: first zelink fic babey! set Pre-Calamity and basically link and zelda get stuck in a cave because of the rain and there's just a lot of quiet pining, etc etc.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Oikawa - T: HAHAHA this was a crack fic inspired by my roommate but then i forgot it was supposed to be a crack fic while writing it and there are accidentally real emotions alkjdfalksdf but anyway it was very fun to write lmao. it was based off this meme and basically it's an AU where Oikawa is Spider-Man and Iwaizumi doesn't know but they still like hang out and stuff. It's a lot of fun, or at least I think it is, haha.

stolen moments - T: first royai fic!!! just a series of "stolen moments" (mic drop) where roy and riza like cant be together but yknow, they try. lots of pining. etc

a secret weapon of sorts - T: 5+1 edwin fic inspired by the Simple People OVA where instead of ed giving winry earrings to get out of trouble, he gives her kisses.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? No no no no no no no no. I am telling you, I physically cannot write smut. I don't think I actually have the capacity. Absolute fucking kudos to every single smut writer out there bc it truly is an art form capturing that intimacy and emotion and etc, but I literally get flustered from writing mildly detailed kiss scenes. If I ever wrote smut, I would burst into flames on the spot.

Actually lies, I technically wrote smut once, but it was at the request of my roommates and they wanted me to write a crack smut fic of Y/N x our uni's mascot and I wrote that thing in like 3 hours with so many silly memes to keep myself sane (not like other girls, tongues battled for dominance, etc), did not edit it, and because it was so, like, not serious, I was actually able to get through it. But even then, when I wrote "thrusting" I literally had to put my laptop down for 20 minutes.

What are your writing strengths? uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh very good question lmao. I don't really like thinking about "strengths" in my writing bc who am I to say? akjdslakfjdf idk, instead, I'm just gonna say some things I like/try to do in my writing, which are: conversational prose/having a lot of voice in the narration, I try to add humor wherever I can, and recently I've gotten better and metaphors and describing things bc I picked up writing poetry a year ago!

What are your writing weaknesses? hmmm, a thing I dislike about my writing/the writing process is that I'm slow to publish things and slow to finish things because I'm such a messy first drafter and I also take forever to edit. I would like to uhhhhh get things out faster. Also I tend to repeat myself a lot bc I forget the details of things I write sometimes lmao.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? Hmmm, I dunno, I guess I don't have any strong thoughts? The only other language I know is Mandarin but even then, I suck ass at that, so I'll prolly never write dialogue in another language simply bc I like to try to portray things semi-realistically and I don't think I have a good enough grasp on any other language the same way I do in English to produce authentic enough dialogue.

What was the first fandom you wrote for? Fablehaven I guess? But Idk I was in fourth grade an didn't even know what fandom was yet. Rise of the Guardians, maybe?

What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

AHHHH idk??? maybe hold your hand out in the dark because i really experimented with my writing on that one and im sort of proud of the result, just like the fact that i wanted to try something new and it turned out alright. that or Sunset Wheeling which is an iwaoi fic where they just skate, and like it's prolly one of the most self-indulgent things i've ever written because it's silly and they just. skate. but aljdfalsjd idk i loved it and i churned it out in 6 days and it was a lot of fun lol

Prologue Chapter 1

Chapter 2 here we go!!!

No one else seemed to notice him walk in, but to you, it was as if time had stopped. He started toward a table, moving in slow motion, followed by two other men apparently in his class, and he took a seat at a corner table. You were frozen to the spot as you watched him.

“Earth to Y/N,” Zelda snapped. “Are you going to just stand there or go greet our customers?”

“Right, sorry,” you said, shaking your head to pull yourself out of the reverie.

“And turn on the charm,” she instructed under her breath. “Those men have clearly got money.”

You straightened yourself and headed over. You began to hear their conversation as you approached.

“So, your father didn’t say what it is he has?” questioned the blonde one to Gwilym’s left.

“No,” Gwilym said with a shake of his head. “Just that he’s ill. He really didn’t talk about it.”

“I’m sorry to hear that,” said the dark-haired one across from Gwilym. “Your father is a good man. You’re lucky you still have him to guide you.”

“I’m more than ready to take on my role,” Gwilym said. “It’s just all this marriage talk that’s got me worried. Say I do marry and start a family, what then? Will he think it’s okay to just give up?”

“Believe me, once he has grandchildren, he’ll have all the more reason to fight,” the blonde one said. “My parents can’t get enough of the twins.”

“It’s still hard to believe you’re the father of twins, Ben,” Gwilym said with a smirk.

Gwilym’s back was to you when you reached the table.

“Good evening,” you began shakily, but then cleared your throat. “What can I get for you, gentlemen?”

The blonde one, Ben, addressed you first.

“A pitcher of ale is fine,” he said. “I’ve got this round, and Rami will get the next. We’re treating the birthday boy.”

He clapped Gwilym on the shoulder.

“That’s not for another two days!” Gwilym insisted. “You’re the guests, I should treat.”

“Yes, but we’re guests to your birthday ball,” Rami replied, as Ben was already handing you some coins.

“How exciting,” you said, trying to contain your curiosity.

A ball? With rich out of town guests? Gwilym must really be somebody.

“Aren’t you going to wish him a happy birthday?” Rami asked.

You shook your head. “Sorry, but it’s bad luck to say it before the day.”

Gwilym finally looked at you. You saw his brow crease as he searched your eyes for recognition, but you quickly cut your gaze away. You didn’t want him to know you. Not truly.

“Well, you can’t argue with superstitions,” Ben said.

“You just say that because you’re friends with pirates,” Rami teased.

You smiled, and allowed yourself to look at Gwilym once more. He was paying no mind to his friends, and was still gazing at you. His eyes were so clear and blue.

“I will wish you good luck,” you said sweetly.

Gwilym felt his heart skip a beat. “I...well, thank you.”

You looked away and at his friends. “I’ll be right back with that ale.”

You turned on your heel and swept away from the table, taking deep breaths to steady yourself. Your heart was hammering against your ribcage.

“Y/N, are you alright?” Zelda asked as you came into the back, her face drawn with concern. “You look pale, child.”

“I...I think you should take that table, Zelda,” you said.

“Why?” she demanded. “Were they being disrespectful? Because I don’t care how rich they are, I’ll kick every one of their sorry -”

“No, nothing like that,” you cut across her with a small laugh. “They’re perfectly polite, I just am a bit intimidated.”

“Intimidated?” she questioned.

You couldn’t really make her understand. There was something about Gwilym that made you want him to see you as elegant and refined. Not a helpless orphan and waitress.

“Well, I’m sorry,” she said. “But as your friend, I’ve got to make you face your fears.”

“But, Zelda, I -”

“No buts,” she cut across you, handing you a pitcher on a tray with three pints. “You’ll be just fine.”

She gave you a little push and you stumbled out of the kitchen. Zelda watched you make your way back to the table with a sigh. The truth was, she saw how lovely and charming you were, and she hoped that one of those men was your ticket out of this life.

“Here we are,” you said cheerfully, donning the mask you usually wore, and placing the drinks down in front of each of the men. “Anything else for you gentlemen just now?”

“We’re alright, thank you,” Rami told you.

“Perfect, just shout if you need anything,” you said quickly.

Again, you scurried away, but still felt Gwilym’s eyes on your back.

“Did she give us her name?” Ben asked.

Gwilym didn’t answer. He was watching the door you’d disappeared behind.

“Hello?” Ben said to his friend, exchanging a concerned look with Rami.

“Gwil!” Rami barked.

Gwilym started and looked at his friends, straightening his shirt. “Sorry. What?”

“What’s got you so hung up on her?” Ben asked, jerking his chin toward the kitchen door.

“I swear I saw that girl earlier today,” Gwilym answered. “While Father and I were out riding. She looks different, but something about her face, I just…”

“Oh, no,” Ben said grimly.

Gwilym’s brows came together. “What?”

“He’s got it,” Rami added.

“Got what?” Gwilym demanded.

“The love stare,” Ben answered.

“I beg your pardon?” Gwilym questioned. “Love? I don’t even know her name.”

“Doesn’t matter, you’ve got the stare,” Ben said. “I’ve had it, Rami’s had it, and once you’ve got it, it’s the end of your life as you know it.”

Gwilym frowned. “What on Earth are you talking about?”

“The first time I saw my wife - well, the second time actually since the first time I was barely conscious - I looked at her and nothing else mattered,” Ben said. “I couldn’t stop looking at her. Tell him, Rami.”

“It’s true,” Rami agreed. “With my wife, it only took our first meeting for me to become sort of obsessed with her. All I wanted was to be close to her.”

Gwilym rolled his eyes. “You’re both being absurd. I was just trying to place her from earlier, nothing more.”

“And I was just trying to find the girl who rescued me,” Ben said. “You tell yourself whatever you want.”

A beat passed as Gwilym considered this. He did find you rather attractive earlier. Your pretty eyes - so sad, but so beautiful - shining in the sunlight. The way your cloak framed your delicate face. Sure, you were pretty, but that didn’t mean he was in love, did it?

“Do you want to see her again?” Rami asked.

“I don’t know,” Gwilym said. “She’s probably a perfectly lovely girl, I just -”

“Invite her to the ball,” Ben said.

“My father is planning on introducing me to dozens of ladies that night, I can’t show up with a date,” Gwilym said.

“Then invite everyone,” Rami suggested. “The whole town. That way, she’ll turn up if she’s available, and you can be introduced to her as well.”

“I’m not sure my father would approve,” Gwilym said.

“Listen, mate,” Ben replied. “If there’s anything Rami and I have learned, it’s that you’ve got to bend the rules a little to get what you want. And let’s say that’s not the girl of your dreams, some other girl might be. But you can’t know that if your only options are other nobility.”

“I did tell Father I wanted to give everyone a chance,” Gwilym conceded. “I think that’s a brilliant idea. The castle should not be off limits to the townspeople. Everyone will be invited to my ball.”

The three princes grinned and clinked glasses.

Meanwhile, you were busy running food and more drinks. You found yourself constantly glancing over at Gwilym and his friends, and they eventually waved you over to order another round, which you handled just as briefly as the first time. Although they were so pleasant, a large part of you wanted nothing more than to sit down and join them.

They left after about two hours, and you watched them go, feeling heavier somehow. You sighed as the door began to close, casting one last glance Gwilym’s way. The night wore on, you continued in your work, and then closing time came, and you and Zelda began to clean up. It was well after midnight.

You were wiping some clean mugs when Zelda approached you. She put all the earnings for the night into the safe and then she stretched backward and groaned.

“Better take it easy soon, Y/N, or you’ll end up with a back as bad as mine,” she joked.

You half smiled. “I’m afraid Frank allows me no time for taking it easy.”

Zelda paused, looking long and hard at you. You stopped your cleaning and met her eyes.

“What?” you asked.

“Y/N, don’t you think it’s about time you got away from Frank?” she wondered earnestly.

“Of course I do, but I haven’t any money,” you replied. “Or a place to go.”

She bit her lip and looked at the ground, hesitating on what she wanted to say. You wrinkled your nose and fixed your gaze on her face.

“Zelda, what is it?” you pressed.

She looked at you again. “You’d have those things if you got married.”

You blinked, as shocked as if she’d slapped you.

“Married?” you questioned.

She nodded. “Yeah. I mean, goodness knows, you’ve gathered the heart of almost every single man who comes into this place. Any of them would make a fine and loyal husband.”

Your heart sank at the mere thought. True, the men you served here were sweet and fun, but you had no real attraction to them. At least, nothing beyond a friendship. You had your heart set on falling in love, and being as passionate as your parents were. What else made a marriage worth having?

“I don’t love them,” you replied plainly.

Zelda struggled not to roll her eyes. “Romantic as the notion is, most people are not as lucky as your parents were. Most people find a good person and settle down, and make it enough.”

“I’m not most people,” you returned. “I could never promise myself to just anybody to get out from under Frank.”

She heaved a sigh. “I’m asking you to be realistic, Y/N. It might be the only way out.”

“But that’s a horrible foundation for a marriage!” you argued. “Besides, if the whole point is for me to get my freedom, then what good would it do to go from my stepfather to a husband?”

“Y/N, think!” she cried. “Any of the men here would be much kinder to you! It’s true, you wouldn’t have complete independence, but at least you would no longer suffer this abuse!”

You paused, heart cracking at the idea. She wasn’t wrong. Your life would be fairly pleasant as the wife of a farmer or a merchant. But love…

“I can’t, Zelda,” you said levelly. “I just can’t. I’ve clung to the hope of love for too long. If I give up on it now, I...I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed each day. I can’t compromise.”

She sighed again. “At least think about it, Y/N. Please.”

You gave her a curt nod. She walked away and you watched her go, mind reeling with her suggestion.

The next day, Gwilym sat at the breakfast table with his father. As he spread some butter on a fresh piece of toast, the prince looked at the king, debating how to tell him of his idea to invite the townspeople.

“Father,” he began. “I’ve been thinking.”

“Oh, here we go,” the king grumbled. “What is it?”

“I’d like to invite the whole town to my birthday ball,” Gwilym said, pushing down the urge to snap at the insult. “And I mean everyone, from the gentry to the servants.”

The king shot a glare down the table at Rami and Ben, who were looking pointedly at their own plates.

“Is that so?” the king questioned. “You do realize how much more work we’ll have to do in order to accommodate that amount of guests?”

“You’re the king, surely you can make it happen,” Gwilym said. “It would mean a lot to me, Father. Please?”

He held Gwilym’s gaze, and he softened. As gruff as he was, the king lived to make his son happy. And if the prince wanted it, he was almost always granted it.

“Very well,” he sighed. “We will send out the invitations this afternoon.”

“Thank you, Father!” Gwilym exclaimed, standing up to hug the king. “You are a most gracious monarch.”

The king squirmed away from his son’s grasp and mumbled irritably under his breath. Gwilym chuckled and looked at his friends.

“Shall we head out?” he asked.

“Absolutely,” they agreed.

The three of them were going hunting today to get out of the palace while the ball was being put together. Ben clapped Gwilym on the back as they exited the palace and walked toward the stables.

“Well done, mate,” he said. “That wasn’t so bad.”

“He did agree surprisingly quickly,” Gwilym remarked.

“Well, it is your birthday,” Rami joked. “You should have whoever you want at your party. I invited the whole village to my wedding, and it was great!”

“I do want to be more involved with my people,” Gwilym agreed. “And who knows? This may be my best birthday yet!”

They laughed together as a footman brought them their horses.

You spent the morning cooking with Elise before going up to get your step sisters dressed. Part of you hoped they’d soon get married. That way they could have breakfast in bed and give you some reprieve in the mornings. Your step sisters were okay enough women, and you were certain Frank was plotting some advantageous marriage for them as soon as possible. And it seemed they were also eager to be away from their father.

You walked with Eleanor down the stairs, but parted ways to go to the kitchen. You brought them fresh tea and poured it into their cups.

“Y/N, I need you to mend my coat that’s hanging in my room today,” Frank said as he took a sip.

You were on edge this morning, especially after the events of the previous day. And you were nervous about your conversation with Zelda. You felt that somehow Frank knew how badly you desired to leave now.

“Yes, sir,” you said quietly.

“And I won’t be going into town,” he said. “I’ve got to update the books of the estate today, so I’ll be in my office all day.”

You nodded. It was always a disappointment when Frank had to stay home during the day. He seemed to find random, pointless tasks for you, lest you find yourself with time to read or eat. But, if it was to balance the books, then he likely would be cooped up in his office.

“Would you like me to bring you your lunch when it’s ready?” you asked.

“Yes,” he said. “The girls have their music teacher coming so take theirs to the music room. Other than that, we are not to be disturbed.”

The only exceptions to the “do not disturb” rule were fires and injury. You nodded again, understanding.

After breakfast, you cleaned up and did the dishes. Then you headed to the fireplace in the parlor. It was in desperate need of cleaning, so you agreed to take it on. Elsie’s knees just wouldn’t be able to bear it. Before you began, you looked at the chair that your father used to use. When you were a little girl, and your parents hosted parties, the men gathered in this parlor after dinner for brandy and cigars. But your father always told you goodnight before you went to sleep, so you’d slip into the room, to find him in that chair every time. He’d smile, scoop you up, and put you on his knee to give you a big good night kiss. You could still feel the little scratches from his facial hair.

With a sad smile, you got to work.

The fireplace turned out to be a bear of a project. It had not been cleaned in years, apparently, and the soot had really built up. After hours of sweeping and scrubbing, you finally got to your feet and admired the clean brick. You were covered in ashes now, and smeared a little on your forehead when you wiped your sweat away. You decided you’d better change and rinse off before mending Frank’s coat.

You walked out into the entrance hall with surprising timing. Just then, there was a knock at the door. You glanced around, but Robert wasn’t close by. With a shrug, you went to answer it.

The door creaked open when you turned the knob. There stood a young man in a handsome suit, with a huge bag slung over his shoulder. In it, appeared to be hundreds of matching envelopes.

“How can I help you?” you asked politely.

“Good afternoon, madam,” the man replied, grabbing a letter and holding it out to you. “An invitation from the king.”

You gasped. “The king?”

“Yes, ma’am,” he said. “The whole town has been invited.”

“Invited to what?” you wondered, taking the letter.

The man offered a short bow, which you returned, and then walked back to his horse. You closed the door and looked at the envelope. It was addressed only to “Residents” and then the address, so it wasn’t technically wrong for you to open it. On the other hand, Frank was particular about things like this. You had no desire to set him off again.

In another remarkable moment, Elsie was coming with Frank’s lunch tray. She offered to take it since you’d taken on the fireplace.

“Elsie,” you said as you approached. “This letter arrived from the palace. I’m sure Frank will want to open it.”

“Right you are, Y/N,” she agreed.

You placed the letter next to his plate and offered her a little smile. Whatever it was - if it was royal business - likely had nothing to do with you. Still, you were a little curious.

You forgot about the letter while you changed your dress and washed your face. When you came back down from your room and opened the door to Frank’s chambers, he burst out of his office so suddenly, it startled you. His eyes were crazed, a strange burning behind his irises.

“Y/N, fetch my daughters!” he demanded. “This instant!”

You didn’t hesitate to hurry down the stairs to the music room. You opened the door without knocking.

“Y/N!” Eleanor cried, hands on her hips. “We’re in the middle of a lesson!”

“Your father says to come quick!” you urged her.

The two of them picked up their skirts and ran with you all the way back up to Frank’s office, leaving their music teacher stricken at the piano. Your heart was thumping with excitement. What could this be?

“Father?” Miranda questioned as the three of you entered the study. “What’s the matter?”

He held up the letter.

“There is a ball at the palace tomorrow night,” he said slowly. “And we’ve received an invitation.”

I'm so so curious abt ur idea of the Zelda canon pertaining to demise n Hylia?? Who is the ""tiny" man that looks kinda like you" crawling up out of a crack in the ground I'm so CURIOUS. Also I WILL spam tf out of ur notes and I'm only kinda sorry bc I'm just discovering your art now and I'm in love;;; I wanna gush abt ur Hylia design bc FDJDJFJDMS but alas an ask can only be so long;;;; pls talk abt ur hc though I really wanna know!! (AH if you would that is;; thank u for reading gjsjrkg)

ill make it short but even that is gonna be a long read, so strap in:

alright SO; i have not read any zelda mangas, my knowledge of the lore is based on the games for the most part, the “tiny dude” is demise, since as far as i remember its said in skyward sword that he showed up from a crack in the earth. so that was just a silly reference at this point BUT to what my actual PERSONAL rewriting of the whole thing is :

hylia is a servant of the three golden goddesses, she was told what would happen and was prepared to follow her orders, (like lifting skyloft into the sky already before demise even shows up). once he does show up and you know, does his thing of destroying stuff hes stopped by hylia, kind of surprised since he didnt expect any resistence, especially not from another deity, and overconfident as he is gets his ass kicked pretty quickly xD now, her orders where to seal him away immediately, however, while hes even taunting her to kill him, she decides to neither seal nor kill him, and thus spares him, and the only reason why is that shes intrigued. she has never seen any creature that was even remotely like her, demise seems to be not just a deity, but also somewhat of a mirror to herself. of course demise takes every opportunity to try and attack/ambush hylia, since she ALWAYS shows up whenever he goes off destroying things again, and well, she always wins. so at some point she suggest a deal of some sort, she wont seal/kill him, and he gets to roam the lands freely as long as he doesnt destroy or attack anyone that is. demise accepts but only because he cant seem to get her out of his way at the moment. now then, demise starts to stop by hylias temple (sealed grounds), where she usually resides when shes not needed elsewhere, at first its just an attempt to get her to spill out her secrets or some sort of weakness he could exploit to FINALLY get rid of her, but as times goes on they sorta start to bond even though they tend to fight (literaly sword fight) alot, its more sparring than fighting really, just the more brutal version i suppose, you know, them being deities and not really having a fear of death- all while hylia sort of ignores the reminders the three goddesses give her, she hasnt completed her duty yet fast forward through a lot (i still want to do lil short comics of their interactions) but the patience of the three goddesses starts to run out, so they give hylia on last chance to finally furfill the order she was given so long ago. she has never talked back to them, or outright refused to follow an order, but for the first time, she does, arguing that there is no need to seal demise, since he has since gotten far tamer than he used to be, and hes not fully "evil" theres some good in everyone, even him ... but naturally, the goddesses arent too happy about that ."she cannot escape destiny". they force their will onto hylia, using her like a puppet that shes always been, but now, without any will or thought left, she goes and mercilessly attacks demise, who of course notices that she doesnt seem to be herself, but all he can do is try to defend himself, while not wanting to hurt her either (after all he doesnt REALLY know whats going on after all) its also in this confrontation that fi loses her arms actually trying to stop "not-hylia", but in the end, "not-hylia" seals demise away, however, she herself succumbs to being possessed by three higher deities at once for so long.

and thus, the events of skyward sword make mostly sense still, i am well aware that this is my personal brain fart, and tbh i never planned to even write it out like this, im not very confident in my dumb fan writing and takes on characters, i just hate the "pure good and pure evil with no real explanation given for anything" trope, sorry for the wall of text of bad writing, but im glad you seem to like my design of hylia, i also hate the "pure good maiden looks basically like a human" trope, but all in all, i wouldnt put this much thought and effort into rewriting/redesigning parts of this series if i didnt care, i care alot, maybe too much .. especially about the villains, ........................i put the blame on windwakers end :)

ok i still havent gotten the secret ending but farming for it might take me a bit so im gonna make a thoughts post for age of calamity now:

things i enjoyed:

revali beatdown simulator

the controls for the divine beasts are a bit clunky, but i think the angles they used for them did an excellent job at really making the player feel like we were actually controlling a divine beast. so i think it was done well.

link’s personality really gets to shine full force in this game with the amount of cut scenes and it was wonderful to see

every character clearly had a lot of love put into how they operate. they truly all feel unique, & all of their play styles fit them really well in my opinion

the game does a really good job of making you understand what a real threat the monsters are. like in botw they’re intimidating at first, but once you’re far enough into the game they become just an inconvenience to work around if anything. this game managed to actually make certain monsters intimidating for me again, and i think that’s a real accomplishment

the blight battles are actually somewhat challenging in this game and that is truly a commendable achievement lol i think all the bosses are good tbh. i didnt rly dislike or not enjoy any of them.

the way daruk and link’s friendship & urbosa’s motherly relationship towards zelda got to shine was. so good. it’s all i could’ve ever wanted

seeing the descendants again was really nice & it was awesome to see the champions interacting with them!! especially sidon and mipha omggggg. that was. really fucking good shit

kohga. just. kohga in general. getting to see more of him was really rad, he’s such a fun guy! and his english va was Excellent. you could really tell he was having a lot of fun playing him, and it was lovely to see! :)

zelda getting to really shine in this game was also lovely to see. and her being so assertive and badass by the end? omg. it was so wonderful especially after botw. man.

the combat is done very well imo. im rly glad that they took so many elements from botw, but also added their own flares to make it feel fresh. it was rad.

sidon’s tagline is “winning smile” and his power is “boundless optimism” and i think that’s beautiful

the music in this game is SOOOOO good oh my god. multiple times during playing i had to pause to just appreciate it. it’s pretty much all remixes of botw with a few originals for the new characters, but they all slap. there was not a single song in this game i didn’t like. it is definitely one of my favorite video game soundtracks officially. maybe one of my favorite overall soundtracks in general tbh.

the visuals obviously look just like botw, but it still looked fucking gorgeous at some points. like. man. they really went off to make it look not only faithful to botw as far as appearance goes, but also as far as capturing botw’s beauty and it was. excellent to see!

if anything is true to botw’s backstory, it’s definitely how op link is. cause he was established to be op in botw, & when u finish botw he is also op as hell. he is so fun to play as the higher leveled he gets. he absolutely kicks ass. especially with a two-handed weapon??? daaaaammmmnnn. thats my badass baby boy!!!!

link eating rocks not once, but TWICE. just showing PEAK gremlin energy. 10/10 for those scenes they were great

the ending was really beautiful actually and i did cry like a little baby for it what about it

things i didn’t like:

obviously first and foremost.. this is not the game we were advertised. and no matter how much i overall enjoyed the game, it will always have some layer of being tainted attached to it due to the false advertising. this is not the prequel we thought we’d be getting. & not using “prequel” specifically doesn’t matter when all the advertising, including the box art talks about this being the story of what happened 100 years ago. with no indication it wasn’t the story of what happened 100 years ago in the botw timeline, but a separate universe/timeline entirely. i do hope we get dlc for the game at some point giving us what we were advertised, but at the same time... rly wish that the story that’s in the final game was dlc, & the story we were promised was the original :/ or just having the game have two separate storylines originally would’ve been cool. i just wish it wasn’t falsely advertised.

fort hateno can fucking eat my whole entire shit WHY is that part so needlessly obnoxious compared to everything else oh my god

being forced to fulfill revali’s power fantasy TWICE hurt my soul

fuck any mission where you have to protect the useless hylian guards. i hate them. they suck.

the ai for player characters when you aren’t playing as them can also be pretty useless. it was really frustrating failing missions because my fellow party members weren’t helping me, and i was basically expected to be in two places at once to get shit done myself. :/ ik you can just switch between characters to make it easier, but like. i like playing as link the most. he’s my favorite character, & ofc since he’s mandatorily played for most of the story, he’s gonna be the most leveled up character regardless so he’s just the best to play as in general especially for harder missions. it was annoying to be forced to play as other people Solely cause the ai was so useless.

king rhoam’s attempt at a redemption arc. i’m not sorry that i just fucking hate this man. i don’t mind him entirely in botw bc you can see clear, genuine remorse during the cut scene at the end of the great plateau. but the redemption arc he gets in this game? after all the fucking shit he does in this game? especially when after his ~redemption arc~ i had to sit through a cut scene of him being an absolute fucking asshole to baby zelda after her mother just died????? absolutely fuck that shit. i don’t appreciate that crap at fucking all. he’s a verbally abusive piece of shit and i hate his guts.

obviously there was gonna be some retconning of how certain things worked in botw in order to make this kinda game work but the way sheikah technology works in this game is so goddamn confusing i do not get it. the works of botw are never outright said or explained completely, but it’s straightforward enough that it doesn’t really matter. this game does try to explain certain things and it just becomes. really clunky and confusing very quickly.

the story is alright, i guess, but..... really confusing/convoluted as hell at times to a point that it’s. really fucking distracting. especially in comparison to how straightforward botw’s story is. like..... cannot help but be annoyed that such a problem wouldn’t have been a thing if they stuck to botw’s story.

i was sad when the egg thing died but i dont like the egg thing.... it is the MAIN reason shit was retconned so much & i just. dont get its purpose. but i did really like the reveal that zelda made it herself. that was good shit!

also the egg glitched out like. a LOT. idk what the fuck was going on with the poor thing but there was multiple times during a cut scene or when i was just sitting there that it was freaking out in the background and it was rly weird

elemental overworld boss monsters................. obnoxious. especially elemental guardians like goddamn bro what the fuck

i know warriors’ games aren’t about exploring anyway but the limitations for exploring was really sad/frustrating. this is still somewhat the world of hyrule before the calamity, which is something we’ve always wanted to see. not being able to explore even the immediate area at certain points because of shit like timed missions was really upsetting, man. :( i just wanted to see hyrule castle Before the calamity why was did they have to rob us like that.....

creepy corrupted egg’s transformation. why. what was that. what the fuck

even though i did enjoy the boss fights, it did get. incredibly taxing eventually to have to fight the SAME bastards so many times. like yeah botw is also guilty of this with the blights, but goddamn.... at least i have a choice to avoid certain encounters with them? this game has you fighting the same bitches like upwards of 3-4 times. it was. really annoying tbh. like the fights themselves are enjoyable, but damn we added new characters and it still inevitably lacked variety in boss fights.

no playable kass >:( if he’s available later in dlc then fine but i wish he was playable in the original game. so many random choices you’d never expect are. why couldn’t he also be there >:(

overall:

it will forever have that sour taste for the false advertising attached to it unfortunately, but that aside, i overall did enjoy the game! i think it has a lot to love in spite of the issues i encountered. as someone who has this as their first warriors game as well, it did lend itself to letting me see the appeal of them. idk if i’ll get more, but i do get why they’re so beloved/popular now. it was an alright time, with some amazing highlights that i’m gonna think back on very fondly for a very, very long time. if i had to rate it..... 7/10

Hell is Hot CH 6- The Coronation

Caliban and I enter from opposite entrances meeting in the middle before our thrones. This was the first time I had seen him since we departed to get ready. He was in a gold trench coat that bared his chest and black pants. He looked so handsome the way the gold meshed with his hair.

“You look rather gorgeous, my queen.” He said grabbing my hand to help onto the throne before he sat in the one beside me.

“As do you, my king.” I said smiling at him. This was the first time I played along in this flirtatious banter and I hate that I could get used to doing this all the time with him. It felt like a crime to be moving on so fast but i didn't think this relationship would be anything more than political.

Lucifer stood in the middle of us addressing the courts of hell who waited before us. “I present to thee my first born, Sabrina Mornigstar and her consort Caliban Prince of Hell. Sabrina Morningstar, Proud lady of Pandemonium, Maiden of Shadows and Queen of Hell. Caliban, Prince of Hell now King of hell, Ruler of Darkness and Lord of Pandemonium. Hail Sabrina! Hail Caliban!”

“Hail Sabrina! Hail Caliban!” The court shouted in unison.

Lilith gestured to Caliban and I to stand up. Caliban stood up and held his hand out for me. I took his hand and stood with him before the Courts of Hell officially coronated as King and Queen of Hell, husband and wife.

“Now Sabrina and Caliban will dance, as King and Queen to the Moonlight Sonata.” Lucifer continued before stepping back next to Lilith.

Caliban leads me to the center of the room as we begin to dance.

“Do you think you can get used to this, Sabrina?” He says looking down desirably at me.

Everytime he looks at me like that I feel like there's a lump in my throat. “Which part?” I said raising an eyebrow and grinning at him.

“All of it, Hell and me.” He said seriously but masking it with a flirty smirk.

“You're not so bad to be married too I suppose but maybe we can get to know each other a little better.” I say not breaking eye contact.

“What would you like to know about me princess?” Caliban said bringing his face closer to mine. I could feel his breath against my neck.

“I uh--uh--” I began before Lucifer came to our side.

“Shall I cut in for a dance with my darling daughter?” Lucifer said holding his hand out for mine.

“Of course, Dark Lord.” Caliban says handing my hand over to him.

“Ah now isn't this better? All the power your feeling? Already pulling the wool over my eyes with your little surprise marriage. Don't forget who you're dealing with just because your Queen of Hell, Sabrina.” He says earnestly.

“I am a Morningstar aren't i? This is what you wanted, Lucifer. You wanted me to embrace all my power, so I am. Things are going to be different around here.” I said firmly.

“Don't get carried away first born, you're still new here.” The Dark Lord whispered in my ear before the song ended and the dance finished.

The courts danced for awhile while Caliban and I sat in our thrones hand and hand watching. After the coronation Lilith showed us where our room was.

My mouth almost fell to the floor in awe. The room was giant, draped in gold and black with his and hers closets and a full bathroom. The bed looked like it was 3 of my beds all put together with gold satin sheets.

“Wow.” Was all I could breathe out. “Uh thank you Lilith.”

“Of course, your clothes are in your closet.” She says walking away.

I was sort of nervous to spend my first night with Caliban and I had no idea how to go about it.

“Uh, well i’m gonna go shower and get ready for bed.” I said, scared to make eye contact as I walked towards the closet to grab something to wear.

He smirked devillishy at me sensing my nervousness. “As you wish my queen, do let me know if you need any company.”

I grab a gold silk slip, black lace bralette with matching underwear and head into the bathroom.

While I'm showering I'm thinking about what could be going through Caliban’s head. Does he think were gonna have sex? Am I ready for that? I mean I'm certainly attracted to him and we are getting closer but I still barely know him. I get out of the shower, towel off and put my clothes on. When I walk out Caliban is in nothing but black boxer briefs and my cheeks feel hot.

I get into bed and get under the covers. “I took a week off school so I could stay down here while i learn my new powers, how to run Hell and getting to know you.” I say firmly.

“Hm is that so? You know you never answered me earlier.” He said smirking at me as he walked over to get into bed as well.

“Huh I don't recall.” I say flirtatiously, knowing exactly what he was referring to.

He left no space between us. I could feel the warmth of his body as he began to move a piece of hair out of my face. “What would my wife like to know about me?” he whispered gently but it felt so strong.

“Your character. I want to spend time with you, learning your character.” I said not moving an inch.

“Whatever you wish to know about me is yours, beloved.” His lips crashed onto mine softly and passionately all at once.

We began making out, it was the first time I really gave in to kissing him. The feelings I feel with him are so intense I get lost in them.

He pulls away from the kiss looking at me lustfully. “Should we consummate our marriage my darling queen?”

I so badly wanted to say yes but I wanted to make sure what I felt for him was more than lust even if are married.

I lean in giving him a longing kiss before pulling away to look at him. “I like you Caliban and I do think I want this to be more than political but I also want to get to know you more before we move any further.”

He caresses my face. “As you command, my queen.”

We lay down and I sleep in his arms all night so peacefully. When I wake up Caliban is already dressed reading a book next to me in bed.

“Morning my queen are you ready to learn of your duties?” He said looking down at me happily.

“Caliban what are you doing up already?” I said sleepily as I began to wake up.

“I don't need sleep remember, my lady?” He said flipping a page in his book.

“So you stayed in bed and cuddled me all night even though you don't sleep?” I questioned.

“After you fell asleep you looked so comfortable so I stayed, I didn't mind.” He said smiling affectionately.

“I’m going to pop up to see my aunties before I start learning my queenly duties, it will be fast.” I said getting out of bed finally.

“Am I to come?” He says, still reading through his book.

“No it's okay, I won't be long.” I yelled from the bathroom where I was getting dressed.

I gave him a kiss before flames encircled me teleporting me to the academy.

I walk into what used to be Blackwood’s office and find Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda.

“Hey auntie’s” I said excitedly.

“Sabrina! What are you doing here?” Aunt Zelda exclaims shocked as Aunt Hilda begins to coo and pull me into an embrace.

“Ooooooh dearie how was your first night in Hell? Alright? Do you want me to send you some lemon pie and lavender tea back with you?” Aunt Hilda utters comfortably.

“It was fine auntie, the room is actually really big and beautiful.” I exclaimed.

“I am sure it was a most eventful night full of consummation.” Aunt Zee retorted.

“Auntie! We didn't “consummate”, it was a long day so we went to bed and that's all i am going to say about that.” I replied.

“Oh Zelda you're so overt.” Aunt Hilda remarks

“Oh honestly Sabrina you're going to have to give into your lust filled desires eventually. Don't make coitus more than what it is.” Aunt Zelda says blandly.

“Oh my god Aunt Zee i am not talking about this anyways what's going on with the academy? Shouldnt you guys be giving a class?”

“The students have the day off as long as they're either studying their studies or reading while Mambo Marie and I put together a new curriculum.” Aunt Zee says putting down a piece of paper and taking a drag off her cigarette.

“And I have a date with Dr Cee to discuss wedding plans” Aunt Hilda comments eagerly.

“Ah yes another wedding but do be back sister I wanted to discuss the curriculum and your position with you. Since Mambo is here I wont be needing your help as much which gives you more time to participate in your extracurriculars.” Aunt Zelda states.

Hilda nods her head. “Well I'm off then.” She says nervously and eagerly walking out of the door.

I wave bye to Aunt Hilda before turning back to look at Aunt Zelda. “Do you know where I can find Ambrose, Aunt Zee?” I asked.

“Probably in the library where he always drown his sorrows.” She remarks.

“Okay bye auntie i’ll be up to visit again soon.” I said as I began to walk out of the office and towards the library.

As I'm walking towards the library Nick and I almost run into each other.

“Nick… how are you?” I came out with.

“Uh--Sabrina i’ve been good-- i've um-- i've been seeing someone, thanks to Ambrose. Hey uh-- i'm sorry… for everything. I uh-- heard you got married.” He chokes out.

“I’m sorry too Nick. I should've told you about Caliban’s and I alignment but everything was so off and painful between us. It made the most sense to keep the realms in balance.” I replied heartily.

“Is that all it is? Keeping the realms in balance?” He responded, heartbreak written on his face.

I looked down.”That’s what it started as.” I pulled him into an embrace. “Im sorry, Nick” I whispered into his ear.

“Its okay, Spellman.” He replied joining in the embrace.

“Friends?” I whispered back. All the pain i once felt for our broken relationship was replaced with guilt for moving on and not feeling so heartbroken

We pulled out of the embrace. “Yeah.” He breathed out. “I’m just going to need some time.”

I nod my head and begin to walk away watching tears brim in his eyes.

I finally reached the library and found Ambrose sitting at a desk surrounded by books, reading.

“Hey Ambrose.” I announce.

“Cousin, what brings you up for a visit?” He asks surprised.

“You guys act like i've been gone for a year already. I just came to say hi before I had to do some Hell stuff. Aunt Zee said you were drowning your sorrows here, what's going on?”

“Ah I am alright cousin, Prudence still isn't speaking with me and I don't necessarily blame her.” He says setting his book down.

“Give her a few days she just needs to let off some steam.” I respond hopefully.

“She’s really beating herself up over Dorcas and Agatha. I should've let her kill Blackwood when we had the chance.” He speaks frustrated as he drags his hands down his face.

“Wait! Maybe I can help.” I speak with an idea brewing. “There’s not much I can do for Agatha since she’s still missing but I can maybe bring Dorcas back.”

Ambrose jumps out of his seat. “What? How cousin, tell me?”

“I should have all the powers I had when the Dark Lord made me his sword. I brought Melvin, Elspeth and you back from death so why not Dorcas?” I state.

“We have to find Prudence. She buried Dorcas here at the academy I think.” He announces hurriedly. So we rush to find Prudence and some time later we find her on the steps of the academy.

“Prudence!” I shouted when I found her.

“What is it, Sabrina?” Prudence replies confused.

“Where’s Dorcas?” I responded hurriedly.

“She's gone. What do you need with her?” She remarks.

“I know Prudence and I want to try to bring her back.” I state calmly now.

She looks up at me with tears in her eyes. “What?” She breathes out.

“Prudence you remember what I could do with the Dark Lord’s power, well I should have the same power now since I am Queen of Hell.” I signify.

She stands up not breaking eye contact with me, never acknowledging Ambrose. “Do you really think you can?”

“Lets try.” I spoke with confidence.

“Follow me.” she said walking away letting a single tear fall.

We reach Dorcas’s grave and Prudence begins digging before Ambrose stops her and takes over. In no time Ambrose had the grave dug up and was bringing Dorcas out to lay flat on the ground. I kneeled beside her and Prudence kneeled on the other side.

I closed my eyes and placed my hands on her chest above her heart. “Dorcas hear me, your heart can beat again. Your lungs and heart are strong. Take breath into your lungs and wake now. Rise.” I opened my eyes. “Did it work? Did it work, Sabrina?” asks anxiously. Before I could respond Dorcas sits up coughing up dirt from her lungs gasping for air.

“Sister! Sister!” Prudence exclaimed. She looked up at me. “Thank you, Sabrina.”

“Agatha.” Dorcas whispered once she caught her breath.

“Of course Prudence.” I beamed down at her. Ambrose came bent down where I was standing handing Dorcas water and a biscuit. I hadn't even noticed he left during the whole ordeal.

“She’s gone, Dorcas. Driven mad by The God Pan and ran off after-- after killing you.” Prudence whispered holding Dorcas close.

“Ambrose I have to get back, make sure they get into the academy safely.” I said as Prudence and Dorcas stared at me in disbelief.

Ambrose stood up pulling me into an embrace. “Thank you cousin, thank you.” He breathed out almost breathlessly.

“Anytime Ambrose.” I said before fire closed around me transporting me back to Hell.

Wow I rambled a lot with this but i can't add cuts bc I'm on mobile rn DHSISHSJ sorry :"))))

1. Ik Ik "haha how cringe are you" of me to say, but honestly? Homestuck. Homestuck helped me in a time of need and when i so desperately wanted something to latch onto. Finally, I caved into my friends telling me to read it-- and it's been a blast!! The epilogues / hs^2 make me feel kinda sad though, because so much of what I loved about the original was yeeted through the nine circles of hell and into the trash. I love Y/ffany's (I call her Yippi tho) design, the art is really pretty at times, Harry is a major dork, I LIVE for seeing Vrissy bc honestly?? Her design is 10/10, very early 2000s emo style and I also live for that. Tavros is cute and a nerd and I think that's swell!

But in terms of story and how any of this happens, it makes me sad to see it happen. If Vriska could return as Vrissy, why not OTHER beta trolls? Where's my Eridan fish man, writers?? Give me the boy or perish by my fury.

2. Also super "haha how cringe are you" but,,, murder cats (Warriors), esp the early 2005-2015 amvs and stuff. I remember watching Flightfootwarrior's "I Will Not Bow" Scourge amv for HOurs and having no clue what was happening, but all these edgy kitties were KITTIES! It's introduced me to a lot of music I still listen to to this very day (Imagine Dragons, Young/the entirety of Hollywood Undead, Breaking Benjamin). And yknow what?? This new arc is absolute chaos, but in the good way.

I'm an "OG Fan". I prefer the first arc, The Prophecies Begin, to almost any of the other arcs. I just could never get into the other arcs-- not to say I haven't read them, I HAVE and the Fire Scene was probably one of my favorite moments beside grumpy Jaypaw, god complex Lionblaze, and fear the gods Hollypaw. I thought the build-up for it was SUPER satisfying. Gray Wing is my baby and I fully embellish in the Gray Wing is Silverpelt theory.

This new arc is definitely something new for the universe. While I didn't read aVoS (but I may do that if i can find the files for it), and so I don't know the major events of it other than what I've seen M.A.P.'s (Multi-Animator Projects, for clarification,,, bc unfortunately that term is also something disgusting). There's fucking cat possession and all the Clans questioning their belief system, yo. Shit be on fire.

Also the Imposter is 100% Ashfur, that's canon now, yeah??? Also im sorry but fuck Root x Bristle that's the dumbest shit I have ever seen. Give me Root x Shadow or face the wrath of my dragon plushies.

RiverClan is my Clan and my gov assigned warrior name is Fireshell 🌟🌟

3. As much as I hate the author,,,,, Harry Potter. It's been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I can never really remember why, but I've always just loved it- the movies, the books, the extra little merch that would pop up in my local Walmart. Of course my favorite character is Draco Malfoy. I could go on and on and ON about how I think his character arc was SHIT and JKR didn't have the balls to make him a confident gay man that was always implied through the text (at least, my lesbian ass thought it was implied but i may just be projecting, idk). I could ramble about Draco for HOURS and what I think his character SHOULD have been and how his parents are horrible (more specifically, Lucius bc Narcissa [?] Actually showed a few good moments), and a child should never have to pay for their parents sins.

Oh noo, Draco's a villain because he's a victim of major abuse and peer pressure? He's a villain because a literal child can be horrible and they'll always always always stay as a horrible little fiend?? Fuck that. He's a child.

Unlike manchild grease pan Snape, who was a racist piece of shit and shouldn't have became a fucking school teacher but it's okay because he was ~~~in love~~~. No, fuck you, he was a creep. James Potter n Co may have been a little posh bitch to you, Snape, but that's no fucking excuse to continue to bluntly be a little cunt all the way into adulthood. You're an adult who flatly changed your PATRONUS to imitate Lily's. You have no excuse. And Harry went and named his child after you LIKE JESUS CHRIST, DID RON'S SISTER NOT HAVE A SAY IN THE NAMES TOO?????

I also fully adore the idea that Muggles can run into Hogwarts and their patronus can 100% be a made up, fantasy creature. Imagine you learn the patronus spell and suddenly fucking ARCEUS comes from your wand. Imagine learning the spell and CHTULU (i did not spell that right but im so tired) comes from your wand-- an entire ass fucking Lovecraftian, Eldrith horror is just the embodiment of you. What if it was a fucking Homestuck character like Vriska? How fucking METAL would that be?? Hskajssowjjsjs get on it fandom.

4. Hee hee very evident by my url but Pokemon is another major thing of mine. While vespiquen isn't my favorite (that title goes to Hydreigon), it is definitely up there!

I've ALWAYS enjoyed the idea of Pokemon. You run around, training up these fight monsters and collecting them. I remember playing my sister's Ruby version on her flip-up Gameboy. I couldn't even read but I ran around catching god only knows how many of the same pokemon wherever she was. Apparently, I had fought for hours in the same area and leveled her Blaziken up to lvl 50 something and left her lvl 30s in the dust LMAO.

I got my first game when it was Pearl/Diamond. It was Pearl, and it still holds a very fond place in my heart. I could barely read, I could barely write-- I had named my Turtwig something along the lines of "MmorpHy" and my player boy "ZbsibJ". Yes I remember the names slightly. I really didn't get far-- I barely got to the first gym but I was just so happy to play it.

I eventually lost the game, as a 5 year old would do, but I can still vividly remember what was happening when the game arrived. I had just came back from the dentist and was quite tired from fighting the dentist bc I was super scared. Mom suddenly handed me a box and said it was mine-- my overseas (at that time) dad had bought me Pearl and my sister Diamond, because I lost my shit about it when he visited one time.

Well, tdlr, I played it for about five minutes while struggling to stay awake against the loopy gas they made me take. I fell asleep listening to Twinleaf Town's soundtrack. Every time I play a rom of Pearl and I get to where the player's house fades in and I hear that first tune of the song, I get a huge smile on my face and cry-- as.. Weird as it sounds.

A few years later, I had gotten Pokemon Black bc I liked Reshiram on the cover. Now, this one I could actually READ when playing, but I don't remember a lot of things about it. I probably lost this one too, as a 8/9 year old would do. I DO remember, I chose Snivy and my sister chose Tepig (hrmm there's a theme here of grass/fire goin on......) and vibing to the music. I was so amazed by the sprites moving, I just kept getting into encounters to see the sprites move (oh boy, no one tell younger 7-9 y/o me about Zelda......oh wait....)

Playing Pokemon NOW, as a 17 year old """gifted""" chick, I stil have very fond memories. I recently beat Pokemon Black again and GOD the OTS SLAPS. I fucking adore the soundtrack-- the track that plays when you battle a trainer, the low health dings being turned into a legit song that also slaps, the battle! gym leader themes-- and oh my gOd, the legendary theme is amazing? It really tells you just how glorious these pokemon are supposed to be. It's not intimidating like Groudon/Kyroge/Rayquaza's themes. It's not action packed like Palkia/Dialga's is, it's not filled with tension like Giratina/Arceus's is-- but it radiates the GLORY that the beasts portray. And I live for that. (Also, Kyurem's version is my favorite because it glitches in the beginning and that's rly cool)

P/D/P and BW/BW2's stories, imo, are some of the greatest ones. Yeahhh, US/USUM's is cool and I haven't played XY nor SwSh-- but the ones I can find memorable are PDP and BW/BW2. I love N. I love Barry. They're my sons. Ghetsis is fucking terrifying, Cyrus needs a hug. Giratina scared the piss out of me when I was younger, which was NOT helped by Giratina and The Sky Warrior.

I think my favorite movies are the gen 4 ones. The Rise of Darkrai having a tear-jerking theme for such a mysterious pokemon (i still tear up when i hear Ocarion), Giratina being spiteful is a mood and Shaymin was cute, Arceus being angry is also a mood. Yeah, Pokemon 4Ever made me cry my eyes out over Celebi, Mewtwo Returns made me again cry because Mewtwo accepting who he is, I remember how vastly different the BW movies are-

I just. I have a lot of memories with the series, even if Gamefreak and Nintendo kinda do the series dirty a lot (your top-grossing thing and you made That monstrosity for the Switch? How dare you.). It's comforting to be stressed and pull up my roms for the games and to play them. Mystery Dungeon is incredibly fun to play, Pokemon Ranger is really fun with the concept (Shadows of Almia continues to kick my ass to this very day and FUCK the Jungle Relic, I hate the Water Challenge fucking gyarados bullshit). I remember the pokemon I got for MD (I got Time, my sis got Darkness) was Mudkip, if that is any help.

I love my little fictional pixel monsters.

5. Yup, someone told tiny 7-9 y/o me about console games. The legend of Zelda. My first Zelda game was Twilight Princess on the Wii and BOY did I play the fucking SHIT out of that game.

Honestly, looking back and looking at playthroughs now-- I still love TP. Twilight Princess is still one of my top favorite Zelda games-- yes, even after playing OoT, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, the anniversary four swords edition for the DS where you could play by yourself (Nintendo pls bring that back, I don't have friends to play it with ;-;), Phantom Hourglass- ect.

Something about Twilight Princess grabbed me by the head and yeeted me into the world. I can remember playing it for hours with little to no breaks. I, a tiny 9 y/o, had gotten the hang of the controllers and managed to get past the tutorial quite easily. And then, I was launched into the game and I wasn't stopping for NOTHING. Mom and Dad would have to force me to save and get off to go and eat dinner. THAT sucked.

I had done everything on my own up until the first temple, the forest temple. Not where/when you saved the dumb kid, but when you were saving the spirit's light. Theeeeeeennn I got stuck on the fucking Forest Temple for deadass six months straight. I'd play for hours, running around in circles, unable to figure out where to go, and because I didn't grasp the temple's purpose of being that way- I'd get angry and get off. It wasn't until dad looked up a walkthrough and talked me through what I was supposed to do that I learned how to get through temples.

I had gotten to the last little fight with Ganondorf before the Wii broke and i could no longer play. Despite the Wii being broke and we got rid of it, I was ADAMANT on keeping the game, and I kept that game for YEARS. It was an original copy out of a sealed box, and I eventually lost it when I left it accidentally at my now ex-friend's house.

She had a Wii and I went "hey I have a Wii game!" And I brought my Zelda over. Worst fucking choice of my goddamn life. Mom called me to come home and said I couldn't sleep over like the original plan was, and that was it. My ex-friend stashed my Zelda and I never saw it again. And, even if I wanted to-- I couldn't get it back, which makes me upset. We had a BAD falling out. She likely doesn't even remember it's there, or sold it to the local game junkie kid who buys ALL games.

But I still love the game. Midna was amazing, and I loved how snarky she was and she has a very cute design! The game's OST is fucking phenomenal. Midna's Desperate Hour makes me cry bc goddamn it really sells how serious that situation is. I love Hyrule Field's theme in this game. I love the Twilight Realm's song. Zant was fucking hilariously scary. Ganondorf's design in this game scared the piss out of me when I was younger.

Midna and this game's Link and Zelda are def my favorites. Yeah yeah, Sheik is cool and all I Guess but dhsushwishs Midna holds the special place in my heart. She was totally my gay awakening BUT

For other game antagonists, I adore Ghirahim-- let's go you funky little queer-coded villain. Skull Kid was great, I love the entire dynamic of him. Prankster lost soul stumbles upon Majora's Mask and the mask makes him act out due to powers-- which, I actually took very heavy inspiration from for one of my OCs. The moon falling to Hyrule was a fucking terrifying looming threat.

But the game series holds a place, and I've yet to be able to play BoTW-- although, I'm fairly certain I'll like it. The playthroughs I've watched of it are all fairly decent! I just. Gotta save up enough money to buy it haha.

Dang guess I gotta go watch a Twilight Princess playthrough again.

Basically: Link is happy, so why isn’t she?

Hehehe, this got sad. This could be seen as a sequel to Trust, but you don’t need to read that to make sense of this.

Also two fics in one week?! Woohoo!

“Link, could you get me the bread?” Marin called from where she was standing next to the table.

Link grabbed the bread from the cupboard. “Yeah. Do you need anything else?”

“Well, now that you mention it....” She smiled wickedly.

“No, I’m already regretting asking.”

She pouted as he walked to the table with the bread. He kissed her cheek as an apology. She smiled and pecked his lips.

They both sat at the table and started getting to work on making sandwiches. If peanut butter ended up on someone’s nose then it was an honest mistake.

They spent the next hour preparing food and packing supplies. Both hummed the same song as they worked. The two were out of their house by noon and walked to a nearby field.

Already there with a picnic blanket laid out were Zelda, Ravio, and Hilda. They were all having a conversation with each other and seemed to be having a fun time.

She grabbed onto Link’s arm and forced him to pick up his pace,ignoring the picnic basket in his arms. Their three friends soon saw them coming and stood up.

“Hey you two! You guys are late!” Zelda jokingly scolded. Ravio and Hilda did not laugh behind her back.

“Sorry,” Marin laughed as Link set the picnic basket down, “This one isn’t all that good and cooking.”

Hilda blinked, “But...wasn’t it just sandwiches?”

Link covered his face in his hands and groaned. The other four laughed.

“Why do I hang out with you all?” Link asked no one particular.

“We’re fun.” Ravio said.

“You love us.” Zelda added.

“You’d miss us if we weren’t here.” Hilda piped in.

Marin rolled her eyes and smiled playfully, “Because you married me. You’ll never escape me now.”

Link gasped dramatically, “NO. My life is now over.”

“The better question is why I married such a jerk.” Marin swatted Link’s arm.

Link laughed, it was a good day. The sky was clear and he was able to be with his friends.

“Wake up, Legend. Please!”

Link snapped his head around. Where did the voice come from? Why did it sound so familiar?

“Link? What's wrong?” Marin asked. They were all staring at him.

He looked at them all. “Did you guys hear that?”

“Hear what?” Ravio looked around.

“Nothing. I must have imagined it.” Link forced the thought away and sat down on the picnic blanket.

He quickly forgot all about the panicked voice.

They sat, ate, and talked until sunset. Link pulled a small harp from the picnic blanket and tested all the strings. He started playing a song, it was a lullaby. His friends paired up: Marin danced with Zelda and Hilda danced with Ravio.

They laughed and giggled as they danced. Link found himself having fun too, despite not dancing.

Marin walked to Link and held out a hand.

Link raised an eyebrow, “who’s gonna play music?”

Ravio popped next to Link and took the instrument from Link. “me of course.”

“You can play?” Link teased.

“Y’know that really hurts me. Right in my heart.”

“You have one?” Hilda gasped.

Ravio had a look of complete betrayal. “Zelda, Link and Hilda bullying me.”

“What do you want me to do about it?”

Ravio gestured wildly, though still holding the instrument. “Something!”

Zelda yawned, “Sorry, it’s my free day.” She didn’t sound sorry at all.

“I see how it is.”

“Just start playing!” Marin told Ravio.

Ravio hastily held the instrument and started to play a song similar to Link’s although there was a slight difference. Lorule probably has a different version.

Marin and Link danced together while Zelda and Hilda did the same. There were more giggles and chats as the night wore on.

Marin was humming along to the song when it happened again.

“Legend! Wake up! Whatever it is isn’t real!”

Link jerked back away from Marin’s grasp. She looked shocked...and sad. He must have hurt her feelings.

“Im sorry, Marin. I just...I swear I heard something.”

Marin wasn’t meeting Link’s gaze.

“I think it's been a long day and night is upon us. We should all be getting home.” Zelda said.

“It’s fine. Lorule has got me used the dark so we don’t have t-”

Ravio was cut off by Hilda who slapped a hand across his mouth. “Yes yes, we’ll be on our way. Thank you all. Goodnight!”

“Goodnight you all!”

The three were quick to leave the scene.

“Very subtle.” Link muttered.

Marin snorted.

“I’m sorry, Marin. I just keep hearing these shouts and...are you sure you can’t hear it?”

“You have nothing to apologize for, Link. We should be getting home, it’s dark.”

Link looked at the quickly darkening night around them. “You’re right.”

The two quickly gathered their things and returned home. Link was worried when Marin didn’t make a sound, not even humming, during the whole way back.

Their house was small and cozy, it felt like home.

“Marin, are you ok?” Link was definitely worried.

Marin wasn’t looking at him. She was staring at a picture hanging on the wall. It was Link and her on their wedding day. Link had worn a suit(for once) while Marin wore a white dress with a white flower in her hair. They were so happy.

“I’m fine. Im sorry.”

Link walked next to her, “Hey, don’t be sorry. You haven’t done anything wrong.”

Marin mumbled something that Link didn’t catch.

“What was that?”

“I’m..I’m going to bed early.”

Link watched as she went to their bedroom. “Ok.” What was going on?

Link put away all their things from the day and knocked on their door.

“Come in.”

Link walked into the room. Marin was in their bed. There was a single lantern lit on the side table next to her that provided light.

“You know you don’t have to knock to come in our room.”

“I know.”

Marin rolled her eyes while Link quickly changed clothes before sliding in bed next to her.

“How was your day?” Link asked.

“You were with me the entire time.”

“So you must have had a great day.” Link joked.

She smiled, “Yeah…”

The smile slid off her face.

Link reached for her hand. “Are you alright? You seem upset.”

“Link, I need to tell you something.” She looked sad.

Link remained quiet, waiting for her to say what she wanted.

“I...this isn’t..you need to..you..you.” She looked at him in a way that he couldn’t begin to describe.

“Yeah?”

“This...you..” She took a breath. “I love you.”

Link smiled, though he was pretty sure that that wasn’t what she had been wanting to say. “I love you too.”

Marin gave a sad smile and turned out the lights.

He was at a camp with a few other people. One wore armor and had a scar over one of his eyes. Another had a blue scarf around his neck(Link felt the strange compulsion to argue with him). Two of them were dressed in blue, though one had a hood and the other looked a few years younger. There was a young man with a sailcloth on his shoulders and another with a fur pelt on his. One of them was dressed in four colors and another wore a simple green tunic and trousers(Link didn’t why he felt attached to them).

Everyone seemed to be doing something and Link started to walk away from them. It was strange, he was in his body, but he couldn’t control it.

He walked around the field of grass that they were at. There were ruins all over and he was pretty sure that there was a cliff not too far from where he was. The sky was cloudy and it looked like it would rain soon.

“Legend!” a familiar voice screamed, though he didn’t know how he knew it.

He turned around too see a wizzrobe behind him with a stupid smile. He didn’t have time to grab his sword before he was shot back a few feet. His body hurt as little electrical arches spread across his body.

Link could faintly hear the shouts of others. They sounded..worried? He was probably imagining it.

A loud clap of thunder made him jump. It hurt.

Water quickly started to fall from the sky and Link heard himself curse.

Link forced himself to his feet and looked in front of him. The wizzrobe was still there along with two others. Where had they come from?

Link grabbed his sword and started towards the wizzrobes and his friends. How had he known that they were friends?

Many grunts and clangs could be heard as he got closer to the battle. Link was lifting his sword when all of the sudden someone was next to him.

They were the one wearing the plain tunic and trousers. Hyrule, Link’s mind told him.

“Legend, are you alright?”

Link huffed, “Yeah. I’m fine.”

“Good.”

Link barely had a chance to see the wicked grin and blood red eyes before the sword went through his stomach.

Link shot up gasping. His hands instantly went to where the sword had been.

“It was just a nightmare. It can’t hurt me. Just a dream.” Link told himself.

“Link?”

Marin was sitting up next to him. A worried look on her face.

“Sorry. sorry. It was just a bad dream.”

“Oh...do you want to talk about it?”

“I..it was so weird. There were eight other people, all dressed weirdly, but they looked really similar. And then there were wizzrobes and then i was stabbed and i just...i don’t know.”

Why did Marin look so conflicted?

“Link...do you want to go watch the sunrise? We haven’t for so long.”

He wasn’t sure why she was bringing that up. Then again, he felt a pull that told him to. “Of course Marin.”

They were soon out of the house. They were silent, not even a hum as they walked to a cliffside that was hanging over the ocean.

Marin kept her gaze fixed on the ever growing splotch of sunlight while Link had his gaze on her.

He noticed a nearby flower, a hibiscus, and gently put it in her hair. He didn’t understand why she looked close to tears.

“Can we dance?” She asked.

“There’s no music.” Link pointed out.

“Please?” she whispered, her voice cracking.

Link stood up and offered her a hand. She accepted it, but didn’t let him see her face.

They held the other close and danced slowly. Link even started to hum. It was a song that she had taught him.

Why did he feel her trembling slightly? Why was she sniffling? Why was his shirt growing damp?

“Marin?”

Link gently pulled her away from him. Why was she crying?

“L..Link I..I...I’m so s..sorry.” She cried.

Link held onto her hands. “Marin you have nothing to be sorry about.”

Why did that make her cry more?

“Link im...im so sorry...I..I just...I can't...let you.”

“Marin, you’re not forcing me to do anything.”

“I know.” She whispered.

“Marin, talk to me. Please.”

“You know I love you, right?”

“Of course Mar-”

She pulled him into a kiss and pushed him in one quick motion. Time seemed to slow down as he was forced off the cliff’s edge. He could see the devastating sadness in Marin’s eyes as he fell. Why would she do that?

She was saying something and even though the wind was screaming in his ears, he could easily read the words on her lips.

I love you

His body crashed into the ocean’s waters.

Legend’s eyes snapped open violently. His breath was heaving and every part of him hurt. He was in a bed at what was probably an inn.

It was only then that he noticed the person sleeping in a chair next to the bed.

Hyrule was curled in a little ball, mumbling a few words that Legend didn’t care to listen to.

As if able to sense his predecessor’s gaze, Hyrule shifted and slowly opened his eyes. Hyrule yawned and rubbed his eyes before freezing.

“Legend?”

Legend hated how a part of him couldn’t trust Hyrule. “Hey.”

“You’re awake!” He looked so happy. Or was that just another trick of Dark Link?

“Yeah…”

Hyrule seemed to notice how something was off with Legend. “I’m...I’m going to tell the others. Are you ok?”

Legend’s mind flashed to her. “I’ll be fine.”

Neither believed it.

YES ❤💕♥💘💖💞💝♥❤💟💕 but i 1. get way too much joy out of analyzing completely inconsequential pieces of media and 2. cannot for the life of me write concisely so im sorry if u actually try to read it <3

Zelda was one of the first people to see link as more than his destiny. (hear me out on this one.)

Link had been training with the master sword since he was twelve years old. He was quiet before the training began, and almost completely mute afterwards. Aside from that, there had to be the general feeling that you can’t just walk up to the kid with the sword that seals the darkness and start a conversation.

His status and his trauma surrounding it made him unapproachable, so most people in hyrule saw him not as a person, but as a martyr, a supersoldier trained with the sole purpose of defeating ganon when the time came. (there are exceptions to this rule, namely mipha and, in my mind, aryll, but both were people he had known from birth or very soon after. If you knew link before the sword, of course he would be more than the sword to you.)

Zelda, at first, is exactly the same as every other person he’s ever met. She assumes his facade of perfection is genuine and even berates him for not being more than perfect (”can you hear it yet, hero?” (the fact that she calls him ‘hero’ in that cutscene is SO significant to their relationship but i wont get into that here)) She sees him as punishment (and perhaps he is. Why put the two of them so close together after keeping them apart so long, king hyrule? was it, perhaps, to guilt trip your daughter for not being able to activate her sealing power by placing the perfect specimen next to her at all times?) But if he was punishment, he backfired. Link got through to zelda, and Zelda got through to link.

Zelda saw that Link was more than what she had been led to believe. she began to make a conscious effort to learn about him beyond the hero facade he displayed, to see him as a person and to care about his well-being. and that was new to link. No one who had ever met link, hero of hyrule, preferred link of hateno village. No one who had met link, hero of hyrule even wanted to know link of hateno village. But zelda did.

post calamity, link is zelda’s wilderness survival teacher. (My girl is very smart and very strong but also very rich and has never had to kill an animal and cook it in her life. Im fairly certain she does not know how to start a fire.)

zelda knows how much link enjoys cooking and food and makes a real effort to learn his favorite dishes so she can make them for him. Her first few attempts are barely edible but he appreciates them anyway.

they become known at the local stables as that couple who hog the cooking pot every time they stay, but the stable hands don’t mind because they always share whatever they’ve made when it’s done, and it’s almost always delicious. unless zelda tries to get creative.

Link knows how interested zelda is in the plants and animals of hyrule, and so for a while he takes her to every place he can remember that has pretty scenery or animals and plants for her to study. One night, he manages to get her to satori mountain in time to watch the lord of the mountain’s appearance. she nearly cries. He also tries teaching her how to ride a bear. She nearly cries again, for very different reasons.

after everything is over, they move into the house in hateno village together.

Hyrule has survived without a royal family for 100 years, zelda figures, what’s the point in declaring herself queen and causing chaos all over again? After traveling hyrule with link, she sees that the kingdom is growing, ever so slowly, over the ruins of her family’s old empire, and why destroy that progress for the sake of an old regime hardly anyone remembers anymore? She is known as Miss Zelda in the village, and no one calls her “princess” and bows as she walks past or whispers behind her back that she is heir to a throne of nothing. She likes it better that way.

they adopt a dog, A black and brown hylian retriever. Her name is Epona, after Link’s first horse. She’s known throughout the village for being a menace to the local livestock, but they refuse to get rid of her and she refuses to be trained.

Link finds work collecting meat and mushrooms for the local general store. He still travels occasionally, he has friends all over hyrule, after all, and there’s the occasional stray monster that wanders into the village, but it’s a generally peaceful life. it’s what he needs, after all the excitement of his last 17 (117?) years. Zelda finds happiness and fulfillment as a scientist at the hateno lab. For once in their lives, Link and Zelda are able to feel like people instead of symbols.

for the first time since link claimed the sword, for the first time since zelda’s mother’s death, the two are free to build their lives together as people, not heroes or legends or anything else. And that’s what drew them to each other in the first place; two people, barely people at all in the eyes of the kingdom that they were destined to defend, chose to love each other not as heroes or failures or weapons or gods, but as humans. And so with their magical destinies fulfilled, or at least abated for the next hundred years or so, they choose to live and heal together.

and then botw 2 comes out and they get to go on another traumatizing adventure for my entertainment :)

Tbh since I post hairs 3 times a month it would be hard for me to keep everything up to date. I might do something like all my CC from 2017 in one zip, and all my cc from 2018 in another? and then make one for 2019 at the end of the year. I’m not sure though.

the riley hair doesn’t have a clip so I am going to assume you mean the Peyton hair since it was released in the same month. It wouldn’t really be possible to do Peyton without the clip since it has a part of the hair going up into the clip. Without it there would be a hole and if the hole was filled in it would still look weird since the hair would be going up into nothing. I’m sorry <3

thank you so much!!! I have tried recording my game before and the footage just comes out super lag. Hopefully later this year I will be able to get a computer and I could record something then. Also I don’t use any sliders or presets on my main Sims :)

it depends on the style that TS5 goes for tbh. I love Sims 4 style and I don’t know much of anything about creating alpha hairs so if TS5 goes that direction I doubt I would be able to create for it. also thank you for calling it the glory era of ah00b lmao
