Hi! Nice to meet you. I adore your story and drawings, but seeing the story of Sheik and everything he went through for being a non-blonde boy who received the blessing of one of the goddesses and the triforce of wisdom, made me wonder what would happen if there was a female Zelda reincarnation of Hylia but looking more Sheikah than Hylian (you know silver hair instead of blonde and eyes that can be red or a mixture of purple instead of blue), suppose it's because her mother is Sheikah and Impa is her grandmother? How would the royal family treat her?Sorry to bother you with that but my brain couldn't help but wonder.
Tumblr media
SORRY. IT TOOK SO LONG FOR ME TO ANSWER THIS IS THINK TUMBLR IS GLITCHED?? It’s tweaking. Like genuinely tweaking. Anyways.
It’s funny because this is kinda lowkey the lore I have for Hilda in Shadow Over Hyrule. Kinda. A little. She’s the illegitimate child of the Hylian Queen after a fling with a Sheikah guy. But I had an excuse to show a character and GODDAMMIT IM GONNA SHOW HER because I think she deserves the world.<3
anyways. To answer your question my friend. I think that the entire prospect changes when you put Impa in the position of grandma because holy shit. So much stuff that happened to sheik would NOT happen to this hypothetical princess. The Queen wouldn’t even try to pull any bleach shit. Because Impa would be IN THERE DUDE. she would not put up with ANYTHING. It’d be OVER. More under the cut
Overall though I think it would change a lot. The reason that Sheik’s hair was bleached is because their hair was black, which, you know, the Royal family has weird connotations with “darkness”. Kinda like zeldatubers. It’s almost like none of the events of Twilight Princess ever happened. “Light is nothing without darkness, they are two sides of the same coin and when isolated everything becomes one-dimensional.” “So dark evil. I understand.” If they had grey hair, I don’t think they would react the same. The red eyes though? Probably a different story. Idk. Anyways sorry for yapping but I love hypotheticals!!

Alphabet of Accidents
I just came up with this off the top of my head. Inspired by A Gorey Demise, but with all the death replaced by slapstick Looney Tunes-style mishaps. Though, I may have included some injuries that might not be so slapstick-y. Maybe. I really don’t know.
Annie Augustus took on too much water
Ben Bray couldn’t fly like one Harry Potter
Carol Calida was punched by a ghoul
Daryl DeMans tried to swipe a big jewel
Eleanor Egbert jumped from a train car
Frank Filly’s head was stuck in a jar
Gregor Grimoire fell into a pit
Hilda Heloey has an eye full of grit
Ivan Ingari hit his head at a rave
Jill Jay ran her car right into a cave
Katie Kareen looked too long at the sun
Lenny LeMoor thought that matches were fun
Minnie Matelli stepped on a thumb tack
Nate Near ran into a rock-filled backpack
Olive O’Leary ate something unhealthy
Patrick Perrini had failed to be stealthy
Quentin “Quicksilver” got porcupine quills
Roxy Rossini rolled down too steep a hill
Sally Soh’s snake just liked hugs too much
Teresa Tanique could not drive a clutch
Ulrich Ulysses got lost while skiing
Vi Vessa’s horse bulldozed her while fleeing
Woody Wald hurt himself trying to be bold
Xavier Xill's wooden porch was a bit too old
Yuri Y.’s parachute ripped over town
and Zacharie Zipp, quite simply, fell down.
All these folks came in, in various ways accosted,
Bruised and disheveled, and also exhausted.
But all have recovered from their mishaps
And they’ll leave the ward, after a quick nap.
Make of this what you will. I’m just getting it out of my head.

The Hero of Sol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm finally back to my Saga of Hilda nonsense! Say hello to the Hero of Sol!
Sol is the descendant of the Hero of Ages, and is his successor in the Adult Timeline of Lorule. His Lorule was the casualty of an attempted re-invasion of Hyrule by the Interlopers, who bound their Twilight-pocket-dimension-prison with Lorule when they missed Hyrule by accident. Lorule eventually adapted and became the Twilight Realm, and it's people the Twili.
Centuries later, Sol is living a happy, peaceful life on a remote Kargorok ranch when everything goes wrong. The Princess has vanished, Zant has taken over, and the land of Twilight is in huge trouble.
However, by the time the rumors reach Sol's isolated corner of Lorule, another hero has come and solved all their problems, the princess has returned, and all is well again.
...or so it seems.
Until Yuga, a royal magician, starts running around and being sneaky in the more remote parts of Lorule, taking advantage of the disorder post-coup and thinking no one will notice him out in the boonies.
Unfortunately for Yuga, one potential Hero of Vigilance resides in the boonies, which sets Sol on his adventure, taking him to the capital to meet Princess Midna, so they can join forces and find the pieces of the Triforce before Yuga does.
After finding the Triforce (and a certain sword) and defeating Yuga, Sol gets dragged into his second adventure when a crazed Time Priestess from Hyrule attempts to kidnap the Queen. He tries to intervene when Cia curses Midna, fails because combat ISN'T his strong point without Ghirahim, and gets cursed himself: into a shadowed reflection of the Hero of Twilight's cursed form.
Sol, who has been nursing a huge inferiority complex towards the Hero of Twilight, is not happy with this situation. Eventually, Cia gets defeated and Sol and Midna are returned to their true forms, and now Sol has returned to his Kargarok ranch, determined to bury the feelings that he's absolutely certain Midna won't return.
Finally, a colored design and details of his hood! (note, colored version has old design of hood, uncolored is canon design)

Fi *is visibly depressed*
SOH Ghirahim: hey, what's wrong? What can I stab to fix it?
Fi: there is a zero percent chance it can be fixed. My calculations were flawed and I caused irreparable harm to mental well-being of the Hero of Time. I predict there is a 67% chance of him resenting me forever, and it is nothing less than I deserve.
Ghirahim: *thinking awkwardly about how he and Ages get along really well* ...that's rough, buddy

Tellie, if all your Ravios were put in a band, who would play what instrument? Or who would suck at playing any instrument?
Ooooh excellent question!
What kind of band? is this a modern band or more of an orchestra, or something along the lines of do I think the Ravios canonically play music, and if so, what?
We'll get the two obvious ones out of the way first:
Ages plays the harp (of ages, to be exact) as a part of his adventure. If he was in a modern band, I think he'd play guitar.
Flame: in his adventure, he played the Flamecharmer, which is a magic flute that can control fire. So, he plays the flute! I can't really imagine him playing anything else.
Sea: he plays a mandolin. If he was in a modern band, he'd probably back Ages up on guitar.
One: i feel like he may play the panpipes. The micori might have taught him! If he was in a modern band, though, he'd probably play electric guitar, or perhaps be the percussionist.
Myth: i can't imagine he plays music. He might sing, but i think he would probably fulfill the role of conductor.
Sol: He plays the harp, too! I'm not sure what he'd play in a modern band, though. Nothing quite feels right. Not guitar. Maybe still harp?
Magic: He plays the piccolo! This would go for a modern band too.
Lorule: I think he can play the ocarina, but nothing more complicated than that. If he was in a modern band... he might play the banjo, or the harmonica, or the triangle XD
Swords: He plays the harp, too! I feel like he'd play trombone or french horn in a modern band.
Realm: I feel like he'd play the ocarina. Something small that he could easily carry with him. As for a modern band... maybe an oboe or clarinet.

I know the Ravios prefer not to fight anyway, but which one of you hates to fight the most?
-Sky Floor
Sea: it's gotta be Myth or Flame. If Flame didn't have Link--his dog, I mean--and Ghirahim, i don't think he would have survived his adventure. Don't tell him I said that, though. As for Myth... he's of the opinion of 'why fight when you can get another interdimensional hero to fight for you' so... yeah.

Ravios! What are your opinions on your Hildas!
-Sky Floor
Sea: my brilliant goddess!!! The shining star of my life! Her piercing red eyes, her glorious voice, the way confidence and conviction radiate through her like a shining aura of--
Sol: *elbows him* I think we get it.
Sea: *sniffs haughtily* Well then, Sol, tell us your thoughts on your Hilda.
Sol: She has bad taste in boyfriends.
Magic: and I'm sure that's all your thoughts on the subject.
Sol: well, what's yours?
Magic: *awkward laughter* Ah, well, you know... she... she... *his face falls* she was really stubborn. Too stubborn for her own good.
*awkward silence. Sol looks regretful*
Ages *tactfully entering the conversation*: Vision was my best friend as a child. I may have been the one with the plan, but I couldn't have carried it out without her support. I'm glad to have her friendship to this day.
Swords: Sceptre is an inspiration! She dove headfirst into the War, determined to take vengeance on whoever tried to drag Lorule into this mess. I couldn't stand back and let her face it alone. And, well... *he blushes* we've gotten pretty close, I guess.
Flame: Frost is weird, but... a nice kind of weird. And it was really great to not be alone while travelling! Lava is scary.
Realm: Enka can also be strange. She's... not the same as she was a hundred years ago, but it's a good change. She... being a ninja looks good on her.
Myth: Well, well well! Sounds like someone has a crush!
Realm: as if you don't.
Myth: well, who's to say? She could just be a very good friend--
Realm: Fifty rupees that you'll be engaged before the end of the adventure.
Lorule: Can we put in bets for the exact length of time, or--
Myth: please don't, if Paint finds out she'll go ballistic.
*Lorule and Realm look shiftily at each other*
Ages: *coming to the rescue again* What about you, Lorule, anything you'd like to share?
Lorule: ...she's. She's nice.
*the other ravios watch in amusement as his face slowly turns red*
Magic *taking pity on his sucessor*: Well, is that everyone?
One: Ye--
Flame: But you haven't answered yet, One!
One: ...crap.
Sea: well?
One: ... she's fun. AND THAT'S ALL YOU'RE GETTING OUT OF ME SO DROP IT.

So for your Ravios AU, has Ravio (or Myth in this case) been on any of his own adventures since meeting Mr. Hero? What kind of adventuring experiences do the Ravios have, if they're more adverse to fighting than the Links?
Yes indeed! Myth has been on one other adventure, at least (i'm still working out everything with him). But the adventure that had the most impact on him was when he got lost in the desert, and ended up stranded in an isolated Oasis, where a pretty girl named Laria asked him for help in waking up the Earth Bird.
As to the Ravio's in general, they fight when it can't be avoided, but they will try their best to avoid it. Their adventures include a lot of sneaking and spying and strategy as they gather resources and try to figure out the villain's plan so they can take it down with minimal effort.
There's a reason they're heroes of Vigilance instead of Courage XD
One Ravio that did more fighting than most is the Hero of Swords, and that's solely because he got dragged into the War of Eras. Even then, he functioned mostly in a support role while spying out the enemy and trying to figure out the best way to reclaim the stolen Sovereign Blade.
When it comes to actual fighting, with the exception of Swords and also Sea, they rely on a lot of magical items. The Sovereign Blade will also sometimes act on it's own, especially during early portions of each hero's career. The Sovereign Blade will often coach each Ravio on swordplay, but as stated early, the Ravios tend to only use that when they can't outrun their opponent.

sorry I thought of another one what are all the Ravios opinions on their sword? (and Ghirahim if they know of him?)
-Sky Floor
Sea: well, Ghirahim is my trusted business partner, and from what my brothers tell me, he's kept up our contract long into the future. He also seems to be more... active? than his Hyrulian counterpart. He's... encouraged, shall we say, most of them through their adventures, and taught a fair bit of them how to actually use a sword. The only one who hasn't used him is One, but I think they've been getting along pretty well on this adventure! They have... similar histories. I think it's been good for both of them.
One: ...not gonna comment on that, except that Sea should stop psychoanalyzing me, thanks.
Myth: That's One speak for 'oh snap they figured me out' *nimbly dodges out of the way of One's kick*
Ages: I couldn't have gotten through my adventure without Ghirahim's help; he was my guide through it all.
Flame: I know I couldn't have! Ghirahim was... really scary at first, but now I really miss him; I'm glad I got to go on this adventure and see him again!
Magic: I technically used him, but it was mostly Lorule. Still, I quite appreciated his skill and company.
Lorule: we're often at odds with the best reaction to a situation. He gets frustrated when i keep running away. But... it's good to know I have him watching my back.
Realm: Same. Helps me sleep at night. Plus I appreciate his skill with insults.
Swords: I didn't really get to know him well, since i was fighting him for most of my adventure, but... i still think there's a strong bond between us. Finally bringing him back home was one of the proudest moments of my life.
Sol: He's useful, but he drives me up the wall most of the time. Though, I agree with Realm--he's absolutely brilliant when it comes to scathing insults.
Sea, smugly: which means they're best friends.
Sol: NO WE'RE NOT
*unfortunately for Sol, no one is convinced*

Sol how was life on your ranch? Did you run it all by yourself?
Also what do you think of the other Ravios?
Sol: Life on the ranch was great. It was quiet and peaceful, and Shadow Kargaroks don't have any natural predators, so it wasn't like I had to protect them. They protected themselves. I've lived there since I was little, when my parents died. The owner was an old family friend, cause my folks used to run a falconry. I still have a falcon from my family--that's my girl, Sheerow. I did run most of it, cause the owner was getting on in years and wanted to retire. I was doing really well, too! The ranch was getting very prosperous, and I think Les was going to hand it down to me--but then Yuga had to start messing around and ruin everything. I could have been rich by now.
The other Ravios? They're good. The only time they get on my nerves is when they're trying to 'calm' me down' whenever that wolf is around. Really, would it be that terrible if I punc--
Sea: Sol....
Sol: *rolls his eyes* Case in point. Anyway, besides that, it's nice to have people who think like you, and realize the best way to handle problems isn't charging in recklessly. Not like that hero of courage--
Swords: You warmed up to Link and you know it.
Sol: ...fine. The Hero of Warriors wasn't that bad, I guess. But my point stands: Rabbits are better than wolves.
Swords: Does... that really have anything to do with the question?
Sol: Yes!

The Hero of Flame
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Hero of Flame is one of the successors to the Hero of Ages, and he falls in the Child Timeline of Lorule. The Hero of Ages traveled to the past and his childhood, created a new timeline, stopped Yuga from gaining the triforce and sealed him away, before departing once more to save his original timeline. The Child Timeline continued after his departure, but Yuga eventually managed to gather great power and break free (with the help of the fallen micori wizard, Zant), and stormed across an unsuspecting and unprepared Lorule. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to save the people, the Goddess struck great chasms in the land, raising lava to the surface in order to burn Yuga's armies. The Queen of Lorule sacrificed herself in order to seal Yuga away, and the world entered a tentative era of peace.
In order to cross the great chasms and rivers of lava, the people developed the airships in order to travel between the isolated villages of the Grand Peaks, capitalizing on the currents of heat in the air.
One of these villages is the home of young Ravio. He was raised by his grandfather and his older sister, Rylla, and his life was one of relative peace (after the bandit attack that killed his parents)--until one day his sister is snatched away from him by a dragon.
So he sets out to find her again, and gets caught up in a grand adventure (along with his dog), where he gains a mysterious living airship, the Queen of Blue Eagles, a giant, very grumpy sword, a magical flute known as the Flamecharmer, and meets a reclusive hermit girl named Hilda, who lives on a frozen island.
Now, after rescuing Rylla and defeating Yuga, he and Hilda are travelling the Grand Peaks, using the Flamecharmer to drain the lava rivers and bring healing to the land of Lorule.
And, as always, a colored version!
