Okay I’ve also been thinking about Oscar a lot and I think in my mind he’s kinda similar to Alex in a way?? Like doesn’t drop fully but is absolutely down for whatever activity their respective little is doing- will sit and colour happily, will get invested in make believe games & toys, will sit through cartoons and find themselves invested… sort of like an inbetween

Like I can see Oscar and Lando playing together in the same way I can see Alex playing with Georgie, maybe it starts off as keeping the little one entertained until Daniel/Carlos/Lewis/Seb (delete as applicable) shows up, but before long they’re both having the time of their lives watching Bluey or playing with play doh (no, I cannot stop thinking about that McLaren toy video), big responsibilities gone out of their minds, and yes I don’t think either Alex or Oscar drop to the extend Lando & George do, but I def think they find it relaxing and therapeutic in a similar way…

Yay you're back! Right when I was starting to have some Fragile!Reader thoughts myself and I hope you don't mind me sharing them.

If Dottore ever had to put Fragile!Reader into a comatose state as part of his efforts to extend their life until he can cure their illness, he'd make a sort of dream world for them while they're sleeping, similar to what was being done with the Akasha Terminal.

In the dream, it's them and Dottore living the life they imagined they would have had together if they had never gotten sick. They're living happily together, working in their fields of research during the day and coming home to each other at night. There's no sadness, no duties related to being a Fatui Harbinger, no constant doses of medicines or testing potential cures.

In the waking world, their sleeping body is hidden in a part of the lab only Dottore and his segments can access. If anyone else managed to get in there, whether by accident or if it's the Traveler trying to find a way to bring the Doctor down...

No one has seen just what Dottore can do when he's truly angry.

HELLO??? IM IN TEARS. Like- idek what to say😭 As much as it pains him to admit it, he doesn't know how long you'll be sleeping. A few years or decades or even a century. No one can tell except time. So the least he can do, with all of the knowledge he has that was proved to be useless, is to make your nap a pleasant one. An interactive dream, one where you can be happy. Make your own decisions free of any illness. The ability to simply do what you want. To have actually graduated from the Akademiya. To be able to work on research together with him in peace. To have the strength to tease and poke at him constantly. Your body in the real world doesn't move much, but occasionally he can see a small smile quirk up, and that is enough for now. Hopefully, the next time you wake up, the dream becomes a reality.

Dottore is extremely methodical and ten steps ahead of his enemies so the chances of anyone even getting near you is literally 0%. Probably has some kind of whole contraption detection system if any unidentified persons are near you💀 Though he still must prepare for all possibilities, and yes, it's as you said. It wouldn't be pretty. He would do you know, Dottore things, to said intruder. It wouldn't be pretty. Dottore doesn't take chances when it comes to you.

i've been cooking this one up for a hot minute so i'm glad you asked >:]

3p! Basically is the epitome of the mad scientist trope. He initially worked for a crime scene clean-up company, something that isn't hard to come by in the 3p! universe. Due to the nature of his work, what with cleaning biohazards and seeing many bodies in various states of decay, he grew fascinated with the concept of how fragile life is, and with the aid of years long exposure to various hallucinogenic cleaning chemicals, it drove him mad. He quit his job and began running (mostly inhumane) experiments out of a shack he built in the woods. He runs all sorts of experiments from working with toxic and corrosive chemicals to dissecting living beings while they're alive and conscious. He also dabbles in a bit of the occult, summoning 3p! Cartoonz to the mortal plain just to see what havoc he would wreak. He's also the man responsible for 3p! Vanoss's very existence.

3p! Wildcat is one of the few in our roster without outright malicious intent. As the result of the general public growing distrustful of the meat industry due to related incidents, he was laid off from his butcher job. Coincidentally, Basically put out an ad in the classified section looking for a "private butcher". Knowing exactly what "private" entailed but also in dire need of a job, Wildcat took it. Basically pays him well for the service he provides, and although dismembering various cadavers is a drain on the soul, Wildcat manages it quite well, if only at the cost of his social skills. He's not much of a talker, but not in a rude way. He's usually preoccupied with the debate in his head regarding the morals of the amount of "experiments" he's paid to clean up.

3p! Moo is much like Wildcat in the way that he's not outright evil. He just so happened to need a job at the same moment his less than sane buddy Basically needed a hand building his shack, as well as a grave digger. He acts aloof, pretending he doesn't know that it's people he's burying in the woods, but he's well aware of it. He's not particularly fond of working for a crazy guy that summons imps and mutates people into rabid birds, as well as countless amounts of just straight up murder, but it keeps his lights on and keeps his brain stimulated. He's outwitted police many a time with his groundskeeping abilities, and as such, he's gained a bit of an ego. Generally speaking, he's very cocky for a guy that just digs holes in the woods all day. Really he and Wildcat only stay working for Basically for the cash and because they know they'll be killed in some gruesome manner vaguely resembling an open heart surgery or via "head transplant".

Rambling abt Rumble Fish

i cant explain to you guys how much fun i had reading rumble fish considering we have initial insight years after the events of the book happened from rusty-james so we get things like 'you look a lot like him,' and 'i dont remember much.' and we get to read firsthand contradictions and how slowly those things become more and more true considering everything rusty-james says constantly contradicts what happens in the first chapter and its just !!!

One of the first things i personally noticed was how nearing the end of chapter one, Rusty says he doesnt remember much but then from chapter two to chapter eight(?) its brought up a lot how he thinks he remembers too much and thats slowly deteriorates as the book goes on :3!!! then theres the whole wanting to be like the motorcycle boy, thinking he'll look like him and everyone saying he wont ALSO become true by the end of the book that just makes me so!!!!!

Also as the book goes on, things start to have more gaps. Theres more time jumps and larger gaps and then the vague fourth wall breaks like when Rusty said he thinks his memory issues started after he & steve got jumped & saying things like 'that was the last time i saw/went/etc.' And ofc, its not directly addressing the reader but it also breaks the sort of flashback that the whole story is and makes the reader aware that the story is being told in a flashback/memory instead of firsthand telling of an event going on.

Going back to all of the contradictions, god do i adore them!! Rusty-James saying he doesnt look much like the motorcycle boy in the first chapter and then almost every chapter after that saying he thinks he'll look like him? PEAK. Saying he's never been scared of the motorcycle boy then only a couple chapters later hes scared of him and it never goes back? PEAK. Dear lord you guys have no idea how entertaining it made annotating it!!

Also going back to the run of the story and how it slowly gets more confusing is something I also absolutely adore about this book! Yeah, it gets confusing nearing the end and yeah, it gets hard to follow and things get unclear and actions aren't elaborated on, but the fact we know WHY that is, is so !!! I just love it!! Like yk, as more things happen the more fuzzy it becomes to Rusty and the more real ot feels its just!!!

The ending/ending gets a mini analysis too because it hit me REALLY hard. I think it was expected that Rusty-James was gonna end up like the motorcycle boy considering we already knew he would end up looking like him, but god, the fact after the motorcycle boy died and in Rusty-James' perspective, everything snapped for him is just so unexplainably painful??? How he KNEW something was wrong and how he seemed all too aware of how everything just popped into gray unexplainably and the way he 'becomes' partly deaf for seemingly no reason. I genuinely had to put down the book for a second i dont think you guys understand how much the ending HUURTTT. Just the way that in Rusty-James' perspective, everything just snapped 'into place' at that point after he lost his brother is just so...

Then at that exact moment he lost the guy he strived so hard to be like, he ended up JUST like and maybe at that moment he realized he mayve not wanted to be like him just hits so hard eurhfdhbfb you guys dont understand..

Dont even get me STARTED on the first and last chapters and how much it reveals in such little dialogue from just a couple years into the future. Rusty-James losing taste for beer also just contributing to how hes so much like the motorcycle boy?? Godddd this book fucked me up so badly!! Steve making him remember so much and Rusty holding such a resentment to him because of it is also so!! I think actually looking into the details makes it so much more interesting and i could talk for so much longer about it!!!

The hate is so unwarranted what are you guys even on!!! Look into the book!! pay attention to the details!! it makes it so much more interesting and leas confusing!! maybe im just easy to please but seeing rusty become more like the motorcycle boy first hand made me so unexplainably interested and dare i say happy to see all the parallels forming !!!!

Also the pet store scene broke me. Rusty was so frantic and i feel like he knew something bad was gonna happen and then him crying for the first time in god knows how long for seemingly no reason just HURTS!!
