okay so i had a request to redo my “the fellowship reacts to starbucks” post but with the company (and since this is my niche now, i’m here to provide!)

the premise is mostly the same as the other post, just my silly little headcanons on what the characters would drink at starbucks. i now present to you “the company reacts to starbucks coffee” (part 1/2)

i adore the hobbit, but even though I’ve read the book (and watched the films) a fair number of times, i’m much more well-versed with LOTR characters than i am with those from the hobbit, so bear with me.

note: will not be including gandalf as i’ve already included him in the fellowship’s post - pop over there if you’re curious!

thorin: the grumpy-ass prince himself need not trifle with complicated orders when going to the bux. in fact, i propose he only goes if he’s DRAGGED by his arms and legs by fili and kili during babysitting duty—he gets a dark roast pourover, regardless of what roast is brewed, just because he “respects coffee craft.” you will find him rolling his eyes whenever a frap is ordered, silently mumbling about how his local coffee shop under the lonely mountain is WAY better.

fili: the quieter, more thoughtful sibling, fili is hit or miss on caffeine. if he’s looking for something pretty caffeinated with flavor, i think he goes for an iced brown sugar, toffee nut latte. not too sweet, but very flavorful (just like his personality). if he ain’t feeling a lot of caffeine, he probably gets an iced black tea to have something to sip on while supervising kili's shenanigans. also, he gets a cheese danish as a little snack, it’s canon-

kili: this man is on crack. he’s a kid in a candy store when he walks into starbucks- first off, he gets a birthday cake pop EVERY time without fail (much to thorin’s bank account’s dismay). he’s okay with caffeine, but the taste of coffee is a little much for him, so he cycles through a strawberry açaí lemonade, a vanilla bean frap, a chocolate cookie crumble frap, or an iced chai with cold foam and caramel drizzle. just gallons of pure sugar in a 16oz “coffee” for this guy!

oin: now i know very little about oin, but what I do know is that he seems like he doesn’t give two shits about anyone (respectfully). to me, that sounds like someone who drinks an insane amount of espresso and could care less how long it takes to pull 8 shots. therefore, I propose he drinks a 6-8 shot espresso over ice in a venti cup, with a light splash of cream. the pedro pascal special!

gloin: dark roast is the only acceptable roast of coffee in gloin’s household, how else would gimli acquire his profound appreciation for coffee? gloin tends to go for heavier, powerful drinks, contrasting gimli’s love of a good 'ol cappuccino. gloin’s go-to if there’s no dark roast available is probably a hot black americano with a couple packets of raw sugar, keeping it classic while wanting a drink that packs a punch.

ori: this is the sweetest dwarf you ever did see, and i think his drinks reflect that. not only does he give the vibe of someone who doesn’t drink anything too caffeinated, but he also seems like he has drinks for every season. he’s happy to have a nice chai latte in the autumn, a decaf peppermint white mocha for winter, a peach tranquility tea with two honey packets during the spring, and probably a passion tea lemonade (sweetened with liquid cane) during the summer.

dori: he so slays. dori seems like a mom friend to me, rolling his eyes and being a responsible part of the company, so i’m gonna make the executive decision and say he probably gets a typical “mom” drink, which to me is an iced mocha (or black and white mocha) w/ no whip. or maybe a honey citrus mint tea if he’s feeling sick, trying to cut back on sugar (as if it’s any better for you Lmao)

So you want to be a Klee main...!!!

LMAOOO OK JOKES ASIDE THO! I love playing as Klee and am super excited when someone else likes her too! Pls take everything i say w a grain or bag of salt as i know very little of what im doing besides from guides help XD

So short version: Klee is a great DPS, but she doesn't have very good synergy in reaction teams due to her pyro overpowering other elements in battle. She also struggles being very toss-able and squishy health. Not to mention her attack set is a bit slow and many suggest using cancellation techniques which can get very tricky to preform efficiently. Farming crimson witch domain may crush your spirits too, but I think her fun playstyle and kit is worth the efforts! You can burn the grass in your friends world for pranks! throw large enemies around and leave little room for them to attack! Blow up rocks and boulders! Explore the world more by fitting into small areas that may not supposed to be reached yet! Avoid attacks cause she's too short to get hit sometimes! LOTS OF EXPLOSIONS AND EFFECTS! I love it! There's a lot of fun little things that i find makes playing as klee very fun! I find she does best against multiple enemies rather than bosses. Not to say you cant use her for them, but it may not be ideal as a different group!

I suggest going to this Klee guide for an indepth breakdown of her pros, cons, artifacts, teams, etc! KeqingMains site has a bunch of great guides for many characters and is updated frequently!

LONG VERSION:

So Klee is a great and fun character. You can burn grass and set fire to your friends world!!! She can find stuff unique to mondstats area, and overall her kit is just super fun and can have a lot of explosions depending on your team!

Here is my build on her currently:

Weapon wise I use Skyward Atlas since ive gotten it twice by chance LOL, but widsith is ranked best 4* for her and Kagura’s Verity is best 5* BUT APPARENTLY!!! Kagura is most good just because it has bugs that make it better on klee, it might change if it gets patched out T^T so i wouldnt pull for it specifically, but if you have it already might be good to use! ^v^ Now, despite having her since release my artifacts are still VERY iffy, but thats cause crimson witch domain hates me! LMAO I use Gladiators Finale and crimson witch, and then my goblet is my off piece since i want pyro DMG ! My main advice here is for substats aim for Crit rate, crit dmg, atk % and atk. For the main stats Goblet; Pyro DMG, Sands; ATK%, and Circlet; Crit Rate (Crit DMG if you already have at least 50% crit rate without this piece) As for those cancellation techniques they can be daunting and tricky, but dash cancel and jump cancel arent too bad! BUT!!! Dash canceling is the easiest in my opinion. You attack twice, dash and then attack again. With how much i run around on the field this one is quick to get used to doing!

NOW TEAMS! ^V^ While I find I can use klee in most areas (besides pyro enemies TvT) A good team really makes Klees dmg increase a lot! My main go to is!!! Klee, Xiangling, Bennet, and Venti!

I use Bennys ULT then Xianglings followed by Ventis and then go crazy with Klee! ^V^ If your supports are built well, after defeating a group of enemies you usaullyt get your ults back immediately. So you can just keep cycle the big attacks! Venti can be opted out for sucrose or kazuha as well! (I think Kazuha is supposed to be best anemo here, but i dont have kazuha LOL)

My other go to team with klee is!!! Klee, Fischl, Beidou and any support that fits your needs.

This is a great overload team and makes for very fun combat against bosses that can be knocked over. Enemies have little room for attack and theres explosions everywhere which is super fun!!! My beidou isn't built yet, but this team still works great whether your artifacts are top tier or not. As for supports I reccommend a Healer or shield support. Klee sets the ground on fire alot and will take a lot of dmg there ;;; if you have Zhongli his shield is AMAZING!!! If you want to focus on dmg bonuses just stick with bennet and his ult! Diona or Qiqi are good healers that let Klee stay battling while protecting her!

AND LASTLY!!! Multiplayer and world exploration! If your gonna be a klee main u gotta be a lil silly!!! >V< You can mess with your idle friends and burn the grass they stand on >:3 or blow up an enemy over a cliff! Klees explosions can be used on rock piles or geo cliffs that need to be broken! No need to bring out a claymore ^v^ Again very good against multiple enemies at a time since she often knocks them off their feet and sends them backwards! Her small height also can help with avoiding attacks that go over her head LOL

Overall Klee is very fun to play and I greatly encourage you to play her kit! especially if you like explosions and being a lil rascal :3

On a scale of 1 to 10, I personally feel he would fall at a 5 or 6. He doesn’t get jealous that easily because of how mature he is- he doesn’t feel that you talking to tavern patrons or bards is a reason for him to be jealous. They wouldn’t hinder your relationship in any way and Diluc knew that.

However, the one person who sparked the green monster in him and made his chest twist in irritation was Kaeya. Yes out of all the people in Mondstad, the cavalry captain was the one he was most wary of.

Of course, his caution was justified. Often Kaeya would visit the two of you at the bar and proceed to steal you away from Diluc the entire night.

“Sneaky bastard.” Diluc would mutter under his breath and continue tending to the patrons as if seeing you and Kaeya fairly alone didn’t bother him

His excuse is, “I’m just keeping your beautiful, lovely girlfriend company while you work. I’m sure she wouldn’t like to be alone, that too in a bar where drunkards don’t know their limits.” He would wink at the red-haired bartender just to piss him off.

And don’t get me started on the way Kaeya would brush his hand over yours, or ruffle your hair playfully- all with friendly intentions, knowing you were well taken and happy in your current relationship with Diluc. Both Kaeya and you knew that his goal here was to just piss off Diluc.

And it was working really well. But Diluc wasn’t one to outright show his jealousy. He had an image to maintain and of course, what good would it do to throw a tantrum?

If he did express himself, he would definitely give Kaeya a reason to bother him further, and Diluc didn’t want to taint his dignity.

However when Kaeya pushed a strand of your hair behind your ear and called you “his cute little dum dum”, something snapped in him, the anger bubbling greater when you laughed at Kaeya, clearly just being polite.

Throwing his towel and apron at Charles, diluc circled the counter until he towered over your seated figures.

“Kaeya, doesn’t the cavalry captain have duties to attend to in the morning? I think it would be wise for you to go and get some much-needed rest.” Diluc’s tone was flat, but the swirling in his eyes indicated something deeper.

“Alright, I guess I’m wanted no longer. We’ll catch up some other time Y/N.” He shot you a wink before shuffling out the tavern on his wobbly feet.

It was a space lined with all kinds of ingredients. Coffee beans, tea leaves, bottles of alcohol and wine propped up on hanging shelves and some in barrels. There were spare glasses and cups too.

Depending on the day, it would be more crowded in there than usual. Like Mondays, when the new shipments would come in and be set down.

Diluc had only went in there to get another bottle of Dandelion Wine. He had it securely in his hands, one hand around the bottle neck and one hand under it. In the next second, the door opened, and you came tumbling in.

A normal person probably wouldn’t have ample time to react, but this was Diluc, and his reflexes had him balancing the bottle of wine on one hand and the other instinctively wrapping around your waist, his whole body propping the weight of the two of you up.

Diluc moves as if he knows what he’s doing. Your heart that had already calmed down after the initial shock nearly jumped into your throat when he leaned in closer to reach the deadbolt lock and push the key in.

The closeness of him lets his scent permeate your mind. It’s fruity, but with a hint of honey, like you weren’t sure if it was grapes or wine. There was also an undertone of freshly ignited logs in a fireplace.

Diluc secretly gazes down at you, he’s inches away from your forehead but he can’t quite reach the lock. “...You’ll have to step back a bit more,” he breathes out, and the hairs on the back of your neck stand at how deeper his voice is, or was that just your imagination? He accompanied you to a commission you had to do. This was something he often did, if he had time and wasn’t caught up in other engagements.

With your basket looking heavy, he walked over to help you with it but the two of you were disturbed by small, falling debris from the mountains above. You looked up curiously, not thinking that it was anything serious, but a huge boulder was already staring you at the face, free-falling from the mountain tops.

The wind was suddenly knocked out of you and you were so startled that you didn’t know how to react. The basket of Noctilucous Jade flew away from your arms and you were pressed up against Zhongli’s chest.

The rumbling of the ground made your eyes shut tight, confused as to what was happening and mildly frightened. Clutching on to Zhongli was the only comfort you had, and he didn’t seem like he had any plans of letting you go just yet.

“Wh-What’s happening?”

“It’s alright,” he reassures you in one breath, hand coming behind your head as the sounds dissipate and his hold on you relaxes as well. However, when you open your eyes, it’s hard to see anything. It’s pitch black. You instinctively hold on to his sleeve, heart still beating with adrenaline.

“...The entrance is blocked by boulders,” he finally explains and you sigh in relief that it hadn’t been some sort of calamity. Zhongli suspects it’d been some lawachurls above the mountains, but that was the least of his concerns at the moment.

In such dim lighting, it was impossible to look you over. “Y/N, are you hurt?” he still has an arm lazily around your waist, not that he had a choice, if he stepped back, his back would hit the boulders. He hums for a second and provides an explanation. “...Merely making certain that those vital areas are unharmed,”

the moment you two set foot in mondstadt, you can see her shaking from excitement but also…agitation? you surmise that it may be because of what had happened here but you assure both of you that it’ll be fine

you two don’t have much to do with the festival itself it was just a good excuse to drag collei out of the forest so you two go straight to searching for the outrider

when you two do spot her, she rushes over and gives collei the biggest hug she could muster then bombards her with a billion question, barely paying attention to you which you already expected so you’re not too bothered

the three of you walk around town, basking in the beauty of the city, adorned in eye-catching seasonal decorations and comforted by the western wind

you don’t check out any of the wines of course, but there isn’t any harm in looking at the wine ingredients booths - fruits as far as the eye can see. you buy a few for the other two as a treat

you chuckle at the two’s antics; they really are like siblings, or like the woodland creatures collei has been accustomed to watching back in the forest…you’re glad you made the decision to drag her along to the festival

KAZUHA is often out and about, never staying at one place for an extended period of time. after all, being a wanted individual in the land of eternity is not easy, so he unfortunately does not stick around for too long whenever he visits you. on the many occasions when he is away from you, when night falls and his eyes begin to shutter close, all he can think about is you. the solace he finds in your arms, the affectionate kisses that grace his lips, the peaceful nights and mornings he shares with you, it is only you that fills his tired mind. when he is on the brink of falling into a light slumber, he swears he can feel your arms around him. all he can do is wish. he wishes you were with him right now since, after all, you are what he calls his home.

KAEYA carries a lot of weight on his shoulders. contrary to popular belief, he does so much work for mondstatd despite his laid back behavior. he works incredibly hard from day-to-day, and although he rarely admits it, it frustrates and pains him to know that he's considered inefficient regardless of the work he does. it's those days where his smile is a bit less wide, flirtatious comments lacking, that he feels tired. most of the people fail to notice this since he is skillful at faking it after all. however, when he comes home, you see right through him. with his face held in your hands, kaeya feels his worries fade. with the worry held in your eyes, kaeya can tell that you know something was wrong. the amount of care you show him in this moment causes a genuine smile to creep onto his features. the darkness in his day is outshined by your love, and suddenly he feels okay. as long as he had you, it would all be fine.

VENTI is a free spirited soul, most fitting for his title as the anemo archon. he finds joy in adventurous activities, being able to run or glide through fields of cecilias, windwheel asters, and sweet flowers. he used to be completely fine doing these alone, but ever since you have stepped into his life, he's never wanted it any other way. now he spends his days dragging you through the grassy terrains of mondstatd, your wrist in his delicate grip as you two laugh heartily without a care in the world. as he skips through the seemingly endless field, he turns to look at you, a soft smile permanently plastered on his features at the sight of you simply enjoying yourself in his company. the glowing, childlike youth you emanated made venti's heart swell with nothing but fondness and affection as he continues to venture with you by his side. although he knew you would inevitably age, even though he knew you couldn't stay this young, he wouldn't mind forever doing this with you.

Childe: for some odd reason, he was sent out by the Tsaritsa to retrieve a man who was impersonating one of the eleven harbingers and you were to go along. she said men were much more willing to follow along, if there was a beautiful woman promising affection, etc. the only problem was, to win over the impersonator, you had to pretend to be Childe’s co-worker. he hated this idea, and the minute he left, he reassured you he would not call you his partner unless it was romantically. so hell yeah, he’ll compromise the mission and will return without the impersonator. he does not care, you’re not his co-worker. he’ll just be like, “sorry, next time send me alone.”

Venti: jean why... ofc you'd be great company duh, but why did you need to be his babysitter on this expedition?!? sure, Venti may look like a child, but this was stupid! he’s loose-lipped anyways, so he’ll accidentally let it slip to whoever that you’re not his babysitter and that you’re his s/o. he’ll be like, “oops.” with the biggest shit-eating grin. he doesn’t care though, you’re not his babysitter grrr. 

Razor: he also accidentally lets it slip you’re his s/o. hunters were after him and his friends, you included (you’re human, he considers you family though, therefore wolf) and he just yells, “don’t touch my mate, GRRR” before ya know, ending them lmao. it never crossed his mind that maybe it wasn’t in his/your best interest to say what you were to him. other hunters could be nearby listening and then target you at a later date. but, tbh he will worry about that another day. as long as you’re safe now, he’ll always be there to protect you. 

Refuses (he doesn’t refuse the mission, but he refuses calling you someone other than his s/o/he won’t say if you’re his s/o or not.) 

Kaeya: he definitely won’t be calling you anything other than his s/o but he also won’t offer this mission to anyone else. he’s more than capable and he can do this without you having to be in danger too. if someone asks who you are, he’ll just cooly respond with, “none of your business.” and move on. he’ll use that whenever someone asks who you are. even if someone gets a little pushy, he won’t use anything to clue them of your relationship.

Xingqiu: he was supposed to borrow steal a book from someone. he needed it for personal purposes lol; it would be great for his collection. and from his understanding, the person who has it wasn’t using it. though you were confused on why he needed to break into somewhere to retrieve it. you just happened to be with him when he broke in, he says it was an accident that you were there, but tbh it’s all part of the thrill and his mischievousness. despite Chongyun warning him that he shouldn’t have brought you, he still did. and when the person who owns the book whips out a sword and then asks why you were brought along if you seemed timid and unreluctant to steal, Xingqiu’s response is, “well she’s my girlfriend! duh.” cue deadpan. legit no hesitation.

Scaramouche: this mission is happening no matter what. the Tsaritsa’s life is on the line; highly trained assassins from all over Teyvat were sent into Snezhnayan territory to kill her. she could protect herself, but Scaramouche was feeling feverish for battle; he was one of the more unhinged and dangerous harbingers, she entrusted this task upon him. he never turned down a mission. plus, it’s your fault you’re even here. why are you here again!? he left you home in Inazuma days ago. also... who the hell was looking after your daughter if not you...?? when you caught up with him once he was well away from Liyue Harbor’s docks (so he couldn’t force you to get back onto the ship, smart) you told him you weren’t some housewife and you missed the thrill of adventure, so you snuck on the ship too. he wasn’t sure how you got on in the first place without alerting The Kanjobugyo (you’ve snuck out before, so he’s told them not to let you leave, though he assumed you used your former title of a Fatui to gain clearance) let’s just say he’s not happy you’re here, but he’s not turning back now, he’s determined to end this. in the end, he kills all the assassins (ofc). on your way back to Liyue Harbor, arguing about why you’re here (you’re losing), another assassin comes out of the shadows; intent on killing the both of you. he’d managed to grab the end of your hair in his fist and was going to slit your throat. Scaramouche will say, “don’t touch my wife, you insolent scum.” he doesn’t have a problem telling those who have a death wish of your intimate relationship, because they’ll die in the end anyway; therefore to him, it’d be like they never knew. 

Zhongli: not many people know you’re his s/o anyways, so if he has something to do, especially dangerous you’re not coming along. he’ll make sure of that. on missions or something, he refuses to call you anything other than his s/o, but if he can’t/wants to keep it private he’ll call you by your name. if you’re facing off against someone, he’ll be like, “y/n, please watch out, I’ll handle this.” he never wants to put you in danger, and tbh even someone threatening who knows your name is a risk, but if they ever found out that you were not only his s/o but the s/o of an Archon? yeah, you’d be on a hit list just like him. 

Accepts (he will do this and won’t ask any questions)

Diluc: sorry y’all, but once this is discussed in full and you agree, he’s going to accept it. this mission is important. it’s not often people travel into Inazuma, so he was very lucky his wine is sold there and that he has a popular, well-known name. shipments of his wine weren’t making it into the borders and he was to find the culprit behind it; someone was stealing obviously. you were to go along with a few other soldiers and when jean told him it would be safer to call you his maid and not his fiancé, he agreed. you wouldn’t be a target that way. if anyone wonders why he took his maid, he’ll just say, “she’s to travel everywhere with me.” don’t worry, after the missions over he’ll reassure you he doesn’t think of you as his maid, definitely not. he’ll apologize profusely. “please don’t think of yourself that way, you’re not my maid, I adore you very much, sweetheart.”

Xiao: he already doesn’t go around calling you his wife or telling just anyone, only the Archons know and the fallen Yaksha once knew (you’re one of the female Yaksha) so being talked into this wasn’t a big deal at all. before, he didn’t run around Liyue telling people about your relationship because you both enjoyed the privacy. but now, having to call you his fellow Yaksha who’s been working alongside him for centuries, kinda feels like he’s ignoring or not acknowledging you. sure, you do hold the same titles (Yaksha) and yes you’ve known eachother for centuries, but really, you’ve been together for centuries. if you’re not bothered, then he doesn’t mind. but if you are? he’s very apologetic and will repay you in some way. “you’re not a weakling, you have no reason to worry.” he needs to do this task, he’ll never turn away from the people and if you have to be known as your Yaksha title to him and others, so be it. 

Chongyun: it’s not that he doesn’t want to call you his s/o. it’s just he’s a quiet guy and never has told anyone about your relationship; only Xingqiu knows. so he has no problem introducing you as his friend to absolute strangers, especially if you’re okay with it. if you’re not and tell him, he’ll be sure to never call you a friend again. he’s really looking out for your safety, people can be two-faced as he’s learned from Xingqiu’s fantasy books. he wants to protect and keep you safe, and if you need to be addressed as his friends a few times then that’s how it’s going to go. 

Accepts (he’ll accept but he has so many questions on why and hates it)

Albedo: he will accept if there’s a logical reason. for example, if you absolutely need to come because you’re his assistant or something and can offer your expertise, he will accept. but if you have no need? you’re not coming, please stay home. the whole time, he hates this. yes, you’re his assistant irl, but you’re his s/o, not just an assistant. it makes him sick that he has to call you that tbh, even if it’s your occupation. but it’s necessary for a lot of reasons you two have already discussed. after the mission is complete, he’s never going to stop apologizing. “love, please do not take what I said to heart, you’re not just an assistant.”

Aether: he has to be talked into this a lot. once kaeya and jean tell him the seriousness and importance of seeing his sister again, especially after all they’ve discovered about her, he’ll agree. no matter how much he hates calling you his travel partner, he has to. his sister has turned to the dark side for whatever reason and this meeting already is risky enough. if she finds out you’re his girlfriend, who knows how she’ll react; she’s very unpredictable now, a little unhinged even. but it does hurt to have to call you that, let’s be real. he never wants to say or hear that ever again.

Bennett: he knows he’s quite unfortunate, so you going with him on expeditions is just stupid and you could face something awful due to his bad luck. you go either way though, what a good s/o :) he almost slips a few times, especially facing off against a few lowlife Fatui. but then you remind him of the dangers of doing that and you’re immediately just a friend/member of Benny's Adventure Team. pls, he hates this so much, like why can’t he call you what you are?!? he’s constantly like, “well why can’t I just say you’re my s/o already? they won’t harm you as long as I’m here!” ?!?!?!?
