Some Nuzi Headcanons i got ùwú:

[for the drone universe ofc, some of my human HCs don't work in the drone universe sadly lmao]

considering this is at a time where they would become official or heck maybe the tragedy ends and they are happy together or something:

Uzi loves calling N "Puppy", sometimes she would also call him "Sunshine" or "Angel" but her & Ns fav would be "Puppy". however N usually doesn't call Uzi many nicknames other than "Zi" rarely- and maybe occasionally "Birdie" when they are more lovey dovey- he's more into pet names like "honey - darling - sweetheart - etc" and not much of a tease... although at times when they get a bit more spicy and he DOES want to tease- he could go towards names like "lil biscuit", "baby bat", "my lady" and etc but again, very rarely 6v6;;;;

they both had to download helpful content on how to flirt 🙄 although they caught on pretty quick lol.

N is subconsciously protective of Uzi, often curling his tail around her without realizing it, or stepping in front of her; but Uzi is consciously protective of N- especially when he's being bullied or degraded- she would cut off anyone's conversation if they were talking about N badly with something like "oh stick a fork in it J-" before changing the subject-

Uzi is actively a smartass sass mouth- she just never really had the confidence for standing up for herself- but with N she's grown to be a bit more confident in herself- and yet N has never seen her be aggressive to HIM lmao- and then when he sees how sometimes she absolutely drags some other drones he has to literally pick Uzi up from the scruff of her coat and tell her to please be nice XD

Uzi and N are absolutely, hopelessly touch and affection starved- this makes them get really cuddly as a way to recharge themselves emotionally. occasionally they just sit next to eachother without words and rub their heads against eachother like cats and sometimes Uzi just sits on his lap and randomly starts prepping his whole face with tini kisses- as if to say mine mine mine- and N is... well just sitting there wagging his tail like an excited puppy :D no words needed between them, just healthy and wholesome touching, cuddling and affection from eachother-...... i mean it could get spicy too- lmao 👀 cuz Uzi really loves taking off Ns hat for more comfort and just threading her hands in his hair- sometimes tugging gently to tilt his head for a more firm and heartfelt kissing and makeout sesh- they rarely get that needy but N happily reciprocates and his grip on Uzi's body/hips tightens pulling her flush against himself more-

at the beginning they are both a flustered mess doing or saying anything romantic but then Uzi started liking teasing and flustering N at any chance she could take. N is just too easy and too smitten for her.

N also occasionally gets the confidence and mood to be more forward and assertive and teasing Uzi over things he knows she's into and Uzi is absolutely into that shit- she's sat 😤

they do share oil sometimes through bites or kisses- but usually that's only when they feel extra frisky lmao-

Uzi gets easily embarrassed during intimate moments and since contact and touching easily discharges their power as sparks, Uzi often uh.... ends up with multiple soft-reboots or powering on and off which kinda overheats her body and CPU alot lmao-

they like drawing and listening to music together- Uzi actually likes watching N draw even if they look amateur and childish- she finds them extremely cute and hangs them up in her room when he draws for her <3

they did NOT start out sleeping next to eachother well. Uzi has nightmares a lot, and even without them she still moves around frantically and is just never in the same position when she wakes up, meanwhile N sleeps like a dead person, he hardly moves and he got used to the pose of crossing his arms on his chest so yeah... dead pose lmao. this made him get kicked alot or shoved in the slot between the bed and wall often- [if he didn't sleep on the other side and just straight up get kicked off the bed anyway]😭. even at times when he decided they could sleep hanging from their tails Uzi often still found herself in the middle of the night hanging haphazardly, limbs and wings in every direction and clothes riding down which made N almost start laughing when he woke up seeing her like this 😭😭😭. in the end one of the ways they ended up making Uzi sleep alot better was cuddling. N would just hold Uzi close, if hanging he would put his wings around them. Uzi would resist and push against him alot at first but slowly after time her nightmares subdued and she felt calmer sleeping at night.... also they put a cork or something on Ns tail when they sleep lol-

All drones, disassembly or worker, can make their cores whirr in a purring noise, its just that its louder for disassemblers, the noise of Ns core helps Uzi relax <3

Uzi can lift N very easily, straight up on her shoulder even.... and somehow N is very turned on by this as she could easily carry him around bridal style if need be- esp if she gets jealous of N interacting with others and just throws him over her shoulder and leaves- or uh.... yknow, if Ns hurt or something, yep 6x6;;;

Uzi is also turned on by the fact that N is so much bigger than her. they be casually sitting and inspecting eachothers hands and Uzi's is smaller and she just blushes fervently imagining all the things she wants his hands and claws to do to her.

Yeah with how affectionate she seemed towards N in general throughout the series, I definitely see her being a bit jealous of N and Uzi. But in the end, she chose N's happiness over her own, literally sacrificing herself in Episode 6 once she knew Uzi would take care of him.

i actually have a lot of reasoning behind a lot of these ships and why i prefer/dont prefer them etc. that'll be under the read more tab if u care!! im definitely looking into it too deep but thats the over-analyzing autistic in me, beware of rambling!

ok so first tackling the ships with the disassembly drones x worker drones. mainly because i do not wish to be harassed by unzi shippers who are pissed i dont like their ship i personally see the disassembly drones as being in their 20s, given they were at the mansion for a couple of years most likely and then sent to copper-9 for ~20 years ongoing.

i see all three as being 23-25!! J being the oldest and either V or N being the youngest, leaning V but idk havent made up my mind on my interpretation

i see the worker drones in school (uzi, thad, doll, lizzy, rebecca, etc.) as being 16-20, not counting only the cast listed. i see uzi as being 16-17 (no. not because shes short, she just gives off that impression to me given she calls herself a teen pretty clearly), thad and lizzy as being 17-19, doll as being 18, and rebecca as being 19.

because of this age gap between the drones, i personally do not feel comfortable shipping HEAVILY implied older adults (aka. not 18-21 year olds) with drones that are 6-8 years younger than them. now, for why i hate unzi in comparison to simply disliking nthad and vizzy, its because i tend to hate popular ships if they rub me the wrong way like unzi does. i see n and uzi as platonic (best) friends

now for the ships between disassembly drones, i headcanon n as being aroace!! partially stolen from someone on tiktok who headcanons n as forcing himself to love v because he convinced himself he needs a crush.

im not apposed to envy (NxV) though!! given its implied it may become canon, im open to it, and if their dynamic was healthier, i'd like it more probably. im pretty against NxJ though because... obvious reasons. would be a terrible relationship, and another reason,

i headcanon J as sapphic (wlw)!! i also think J and V would have a cute dynamic, which is why they're an OTP. i also think it'd be funny if they kissed and N went "oh shit how did i not know my co-workers were gay???" even though he'd be heartbroken, poor lil guy

REALLY WEIRD. so currently i am indifferent to it

i like the idea of uzixlizzy because i think popular kid x social outcast is a fun dynamic!! not my fav tho lolz., i also like uzixthad not only because its likely to become canon, but also because they've had cute interactions and would probably be a healthy relationship ^_^

Young Thug - So Much Fun ALBUM REVIEW

Young Thug’s big break was around 2014. He’s been around for a little over half a decade and his signature style seems to have transcended hip hop. We can see his influence in newer rappers like Lil Baby and EARTHGANG. Young Thug has put out a lot of mixtapes, which were free. But he’s also put out a lot of projects labeled as mixtapes but people have to pay for it. In my opinion, it’s cheating to call something that isn’t a mixtape a mixtape. He’s marketed projects that have been released on a major label but said they are mixtapes. With streaming, mixtapes aren’t really a thing anymore so Young Thug is labeling his new album, So Much Fun as his debut album. I have not loved everything Thugger has done but I do love his original style and I do love a range of his music. Slime Season 3, JEFFERY, Black Portland, and his Young Martha EP with Carnage are certainly standouts in his catalog whereas I’m Up, Beautiful Thugger Girls and Slime Language fall very flat for me. So Much Fun grabs my attention because it’s executive produced by J. Cole, which is a really odd pairing. Thug joined Cole on his KOD tour and as someone who went to one of the tour stops, it is interesting but very enjoyable. So Much Fun is a fun album that has more personality and energy to it than a project like Slime Language. I don’t love the entire album but some tracks really do stand out as fantastic. The way the album opens right away with Just How It Is is so fucking good. The beat doesn’t really have much to it and it’s relaxed but Young Thug sounds really great on it. I can picture him in the studio recording this song relaxed but also enjoying himself. The lyric, “Had to wear the dress 'cause I had a stick” is exactly how I would describe his music because he’s very different in a genre that sticks to its trends and starts his own. The quality in the album goes up and down from the first track. Sup Mate with Future is a tedious track that I really don’t ever wanna hear again. The beat on Ecstasy kinda ruins the whole song. The following track Hot, however, has a beat so good that it makes Gunna sound like a good rapper. All jokes aside, the way Gunna’s low mumbly voice contrasts with Young Thug’s high-pitched cadence actually does sound good even though the content isn’t really there. It’s a Young Thug album and it’s called So Much Fun so you’re in the wrong place if you’re looking for content. Thug’s flow on Light It Up is nice and the beat is dope too. However, the repetitive hook kind of fucks up the vibe of the song. This hook is not worse than the more repetitive hook on the following track, Surf. Plus the beat isn’t that good. The song with Lil Baby and the song called Lil Baby were pretty forgettable. Thug’s use of his different voices stood out on What’s The Move. However, Lil Uzi Vert’s feature did not. After that song which is track 9, this album became background music until track 15, Pussy. I’m honestly really surprised that one of my favorite songs on this album is called Pussy. As someone who does radio, I can’t wait to see what the edited version of this song sounds like because the word pussy is apart of the whole song, including the beat. It reminds me of when A$AP Rocky did PMW. Lookup the clean version of PMW—it really does sound like a completely different song. The beat on this song was good enough to grab my attention after 5 boring songs. That along with Young Thug’s delivery and switching up his flows was enough for me to like this song. I also really loved the song Mannequin Challenge because of that beat. I swear I’ve heard that vocal sample before in Logic’s 44 More. The hook was catchy and really fun to listen to. I don’t find any interest in listening to Juice WRLD’s music but he did sound good on this song even though he sounds way too much like Post Malone. The lead single, The London with J. Cole and Travis Scott, wasn’t the best way to close out the album. It seemed like a grab for extra streams because the song is so big. I initially wasn’t crazy about this song but I went to see Travis Scott 3 days after the song came out as a single and it went off at the show. Even though J. Cole and Travis Scott completely outshine Young Thug, it is a very fun song. I love J. Cole’s braggadocios line about how much he charges for a verse. He raps, “A verse from me is like 11 birds / Just did the math, that's like two thousand dollars every word.” So Much Fun is a fun album that is also very repetitive and hard to listen to all the way through. It has some great songs that I see myself going back to but I would not say that this album is better than his past other ALBUMS.

Is Rap Dying or Changing?

Music is supposed to reflect society, the ripples and ever changing trends. The triumphs and shortcomings. Many people fear losing control and change is a byproduct of that. I believe that exact thing is occurring in the rap industry. Many believe rap is dying and refer to rap's golden age (the 90s) as their source of what music was and should emulate. I grew up listening to Slick Rick, Roxanne Roxanne, Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Jay-z many of the artist that are a part of this era. I am also a college student who listens to Migos, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Uzi, J. Cole, Drake, and Joey Badass. All of these artists are drastically different in regards to the material they produce. Rap was not as versatile before each song had more “substance.” There are more club hits than lyricist, radio bumpers then storytellers. There are also some artists that do emulate the times of the golden age. Why must artists be put in a box to have one sound and one message. I believe that is when rap is truly dying.

I love old school rap music and although I do not love ALL new school rap is it because I am setting a standard for one type of way to rap or enjoy rap music? We as people are ever changing and therefore our music is as well. Is music dying or just merely changing. This subject matter is important to me because growing up with a very old school rap and R&B music background, I have been exposed to both sides and have learned to appreciate both eras but in very different ways. I have conducted 3 interviews from a mixed group of listeners and hopefully after these interviews a conclusion can be made of what the general public may think about the climate of rap. My prediction is that there will be mixed reviews and the answer will change person to person based upon preference.

For my interviews I chose a very avid male 19 year old rap listener, a middled age music lover, and an 18 year old girl who does not listen to much rap music in general, but can recite her “fav” radio hits. I asked each of these music lovers a series of questions which varied person to person. Interview One was conducted with a 19 year old boy named Benjamin who loves rap music and grew up on reggae. His top 5 favorite artist are J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Rick Ross and Chance the Rapper because they all provide “the right vibes and inspiration” for him throughout the day, depending on his mood and the type of inspiration he needs “they got him”. Michael Jackson is his favorite contemporary artist he stated because he is “the one greatest human being to ever live. He embodied what it meant to be human and loving.” However, he is not too fond of Madonna because in his opinion she’s been around for far too long and it’s time to go. Benjamin thinks that artists shouldn't produce one type of music because being held to one sound becomes redundant. It's important to explore different aspects of the music game because you could make more money off of it. In that moment I proceeded to ask Benjamin does he believe rap is dying or changing? He stated “I think rap is changing. Rap is and will always be a representation of the culture in that moment. So if you don't like where it's heading, change the culture and the environment rappers come from.”

Tasha a middle aged black women with a strong background and love for music recalls soft rock and hip hop being played a lot growing up. Her top five favorite artist are Jay-z, biggie, rakim, slick Rick, and Tupac. She likes them because they all know how to make music with the rap, she stated “the rapping sounds like a beat itself.” Her favorite contemporary artist are Adele, Lauryn Hill, and Beyoncé because to her their songs have a lot of emotions and she believes that even if you can't relate you can still understand. When asked about change she discussed that it is the only constant so she has learned to always be prepared for it. Tasha believes that artists should continue to evolve as music has evolved. She stated that developing great music using inspiration from the past because rap is changing. As long as their are people who relate to it - it will never die. Some of it may be unrelatable for some. But success of rap is the ability to tell stories that may have otherwise never been heard. To represent the underrepresented and connect people through music. It still does that today, it has to change to remain relevant.

The last interview was administered to an 18 year old girl Amanda who did not listen to much rap music but could recite her “fav” hits word for word. Amanda grew up listening to Spanish and pop music. Her favorite rappers consisted of Drake, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa, Jay Z and Lupe Fiasco because each of these artist has their own style in how the create their music and compose the lyrics to each song, with a message or story that many can relate too. Amanda’s favorite contemporary artist are Ed Sheeran, Khalid, Post Malone, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons because she stated that As well as the rappers, they all create music that bring people to connect to the lyrics, and can really feel the contagious rhythm of the music's beat. However, she does not favor Madonna's music, her style of singing and expression of her songs has never been something she can enjoy and listen to. When asked about music changing Amanda stated that she enjoyed the change listening to all the different styles and hearing the newest versions is always a nice “spice up”.  Amanda then proceeded to say if an artist can be a multi category composer they should not limit their talent. Each artist can bring their own twist to a style of music which many people may come to love. In this time rap is changing, but many things change and then come back again. “Look at fashion for example, in this time I hear parents constantly saying the style we are wearing is an updated version of things they wore. Rap may be not be exactly how it was five to ten years ago but it does not mean it won’t resurface in that style again in the future.”

After conducting my interviews I realized the answer truly lies within you, your views and preferences as a listener.  Many of the answers were different but a lot were similar not on interviewee stated that rap was dying. In my opinion, music in a sense is poetic, and my love for poetry and music somehow combines. Music is an outlet, a therapeutic session for many music lovers therefore, we must not condemn it but come with an open mind. If music hits your spirit, your soul, your core, bash away those societal constraints telling you to only like one thing when we are built of of many cells neurons and limbs that make us human.
