Yesss I love that idea so much!! Sorry this is a month late, I got distracted for a bit since I went on a trip to the beach with my friend and didn't get any writing done for a good couple of weeks lmao. I decided to go with both headcanons and a fic because I felt bad for making you wait for so long. Headcanons are below, the fic will be out later this week! 🥰

Tw: yandere/dark content, gender neutral reader, Veronica is extremely manipulative but we love her anyway, brief mentions of suicide (relevant to canon, yknow)

Veronica's one of the more covert yanderes tbh. She's not as domineering as Heather Chandler or straight up crazy like JD. At first, she just appears as your typical teenage girl who's worried about their partner. Sure, she's a little clingy, and possessive, and overly protective, but with people like Kurt and Ram out there who wouldn't be?

Her manipulation is also a lot more subtle than other people's. She's able to easily disguise it as worry, insisting that she's just trying to look out for you when it comes to parties you might want to attend or people you hang out with

She has absolutely no problem making up stories or coming up with lies in order to get you to leave certain people alone. Oh, you didn't hear that so-and-so slept with their best friend's boyfriend? Wow, I thought everybody knew that. She's so trustworthy and genuine, of course you believe her

If you ever manage to catch her in a lie, she's quick to turn it around on you or act as if she has no idea what you're talking about. She'll pretend that she got this information from a second hand source, so naturally it couldn't be all true, but at least some of it has to be, right? So it's still better for you not to hang out with this person, just in case

It's even harder to see what she's doing as manipulation given the fact that her worries aren't entirely baseless. There are plenty of awful people in the school, and it wouldn't be too far-fetched to believe that she truly does want to protect you. She may be a bit excessive, sure, but that's only because she doesn't want to see you get hurt

When I say she limits the people you're "allowed" to hang out with, I mean that. Heather McNamara is okay, and maybe Heather Duke, but Heather Chandler is off limits, and don't even think about going anywhere near Kurt and Ram (not that you'd want to, because ew)

Even Martha Dunstock is a perfect candidate for a friend, because she never hangs out with anyone else anyway, which means no one will bother you two. And by bother I of course mean give you any sort of attention

JD is a bit of a toss up. Veronica trusts that he'd never let anything happen to you, but she also knows that he always ends up finding trouble no matter where he goes, intentional or not, so you'll typically only hang out with him if Veronica is also there to keep an eye on him

Overall, she's a great girlfriend! If you don't mind only hanging out with people that she trusts to keep an eye on you or occasionally getting caught up in her and JD's passionate discussion about "ridding the world of popular filth" and all that. But that's nothing to worry about, I'm sure. Even if the eventual suicides of Heather Chandler and Kurt and Ram did seem a bit suspicious...

-johnny and jax had a spiritual experience at a michael jackson concert together before he passed away and they still talk about it

-jacqui does her own hair which means takeda becomes her assistant and jumps in when her arms get tired. she’s delighted at how good he’s gotten at braiding

-hanzo has ainu heritage and is very proud of it

-fujin and rain used to have a thing and when everyone found out the kids kept saying “ok last airbender!”

-cassie has tried to get frost to watch some of her favorite movies (her dad is an actor of course she loves cinema) countless times and every time it just ends in them making out

-johnny jax kuai liang hanzo and kenshi have ended up in a karaoke room desperately trying to get hanzo to participate. they had to resort to liquor before he stepped up

Johnny and Jax had trouble getting along for years before that concert and that was the thing that finally got them to become real friends

Takeda wanted to learn how to help Jacqui more with her hair so he found a braiding salon (Thanks to Jacqui's mom Vera) and worked as an assistant/apprentice there whenever he had time off base and away from the Shirai Ryu, often skipping sleep to get in more time there.

Jacqui goes to that salon one day when Takeda is out of town as a way of treating herself and is instantly recognized bc Takeda used to brag about her. She is then given the princess treatment bc he was so well liked

Hanzo tries really hard to connect with his Ainu heritage too, having not been taught much about it by his parents. He's not fluent in the language but he's getting there, prays to Kamuy-huci, told Satoshi Ainu stories and has a sapanpe, though he has never been able to bring himself to wear it for very complicated emotional reasons involving his being disowned by his family.

He also proposed to Harumi using Ainu traditions, something which confused her at first as she had no idea what he was doing (From what I can gather it would involve him going to her house and being offered a bowl of rice, eating half of it before returning it to her and if she sets it to the side then that's a no but if she eats it she is saying yes) (pls correct me if I am wrong tho) but as soon as she knew what he was trying to ask she was thrilled. She even started trying to learn the Ainu language while they were together so that they could teach it to Satoshi, and so that Hanzo had someone to speak to in it.

When Kuai Liang proposed years later he did the same and Hanzo cried, partly from joy and partly from how thoughtful he found the gesture.

Fujin is the only one to understand the reference while Rain just remains very confused. Fujin is also one of the few people to acknowledge that Rain is, in fact, an actual god. He's an asshole, but he is a god and Fujin feels that should be respected

The only movie Cassie and Frost have managed to watch all the way through is Frozen bc Frost wanted to see if she could mimic Elsa's ability to bring snowmen to life. They've seen it 12 times. Frost has yet to succeed.

Hanzo then revealed himself to have the voice of an angel and now has to deal with Johnny trying to get him to sing in one of his movies.

He comes home late at night to you sleeping. Sometimes he regrets keeping you all to himself. But him seeing you sleeping all comfortably like this? It’s worth every bit of privacy.

He pulls away from the hug and looks into your eyes. “You didn’t need ‘em baby. They’re not good enough for you.” You look at him still with tears in your eyes. “I wish you could’ve been with me today.” He sighs, “I know baby I wanted to be with you too.” He lied down on the bed and pulled your body towards him.

“I know I said that..” he sighs before he speaks, “that I wanted us to be a secret. But I just can’t do that shit anymore. I want to take you out. Tomorrow. I get off at 4 so we can go out for dinner.” You look up at him and smile, “really?” He kisses you and nods, “Yes baby, really. Now go to sleep. Can’t have you tired for our date tomorrow night.” You nod and nuzzle into his chest.
