Also, adding to this: Sanzu let go of everything that could be considered his for Mikey so long ago, that there is nothing to reinvent, his whole core is Mikey, that's all. Like, hello, the gremlin changed his fucking name at 13? And yes, bc he hates his family too, but the choice? The choice screams "Sanos fucked up my life and now I'm just a slave linked to their fate, hi!"

And Takuya is such a people pleaser, he should run away far, faaaaar from there. But he can't, bc Haru is a destroyer, no doubt. But he destroys himself more than anyone else and is so painfully obvious (yeah, people gets caught on that spiral, but the self-destruction runs soooo deep).

I'm so convinced Takuya keeps enabling when Haru calls him "Mikey", no doubt. Bc it only happens when he's so obviously not okay that Takuya can't find on himself the will to correct him. If Haru needs comfort and Takuya can't provide it, is really that bad to let him believe for a moment this is Mikey? And pretend next morning none of it happened?
