I haven't beaten the game yet, because I'm not good at it and keep getting distracted/wanting to try new builds/re fight old bosses, but I've been playing for like, over a year so i think I'm beyond the point of caring much about spoilers. You can actually get the recipe for silver fowl feet turbo early on, it's on one of the dudes at the smouldering church and all the items to make them respawn in limgrave -the birds. those have to be farmed.

I knew the helmet and talisman were around, but i was like 'Ah it's one sword how long can it take. no point rushing off to another distraction' and then it took forever.and it took longer bc i got mad at video game for not rewarding me for murdering this dude over and over already and so stopped for a bit.

and tbh dual wielding is like. The way to play, so I'm deciding now, without ever playing any of the dark souls games, that 2 is the best bc you can dual wield and don't have to take a break from fun to go do your fucking taxes and talk to your coworkers.

hey so on average how many times would you have to kill an enemy to get a 4% drop rate item? Well. i had about 2000 runes when i started farming this one.

this omen plus his dog give a combined 580 runes. as you can see, i have 43800 now. so Apparently. to get an item with a 4% drop rate, you have to kill this dude about 72 time.
