Another week of new Star Wars with no Din Djarin

The Nikto called the kid a “fledgling Jedi”, saying Din had no idea what he could “do”. The Armorer also called the Jedi “sorcerers” and though Din doesn’t know anything about sorcery, he does know there’s something magical about the kid’s hugs. Something powerful. They have the power to erase bad dreams and painful conversations. They have the power to heal hurts and pains and age-old loneliness. They have the power to make Din laugh like he is now.  If that isn’t magic, Din doesn’t know what else is.

Din Djarin + Eyebrows

Grogu likes Din’s mustache.

So I’m hella excited over the third season coming I just pray we get some more of Din’s feelings about his past, so I finally drew this little thing I’ve been thinking about for a while ;v;

I firmly believe wearing a helmet for your whole life is no reason to not style yourself like you want, so let Din have a mustache if he wants™!, but also I like to think he looks at himself on the mirror and can’t help but think of his dad :’) so he keeps the mustache.

Also pls let Din adopt Grogu and show him his face when they’re alone!!!!

I like to think fist fights are a tradition at mandalorian wedding celebrations. So when Han and Boba start swinging, Luke and Leia are appalled but every mando there is like “sweet, the first fight finally started”

Warming up for this new year in my GNX with Anita Baker in the tape deck with an art exercise I spotted on Instagram. Even if I no longer see a path to a career in the arts, I will continue making art of the things I like. I will continue doing the things that keep me sane while this country of mine goes off the rails.

New chapter of The Stars is also incoming. We are going to get busy in this Year of the Snake.

a late night din

plugging my ears ignoring the “jedi don’t have attachments” part of luke’s ultimatum in boba fett and choosing instead to focus on luke mentioning how grogu’s training will take long enough that din will be dead by the time he’s ready to go out in the world.  that wasn’t luke telling grogu he couldn’t be a jedi because of his attachment to din.  that was luke, mr “i lost 3 father figures prematurely and saved the galaxy with the power of love for my dad” going “there will be other jedi. you age slowly enough you can complete your training later.  there’s only going to be one din djarin.”
