It means so much for me, because I can feel the nature though your posts — despite feeling incomprehensible fear of if. Okay okay whew now we have to try not to rant (it never works….I always rant):

🌹: Plot

Honestly, I think this all comes down to having a few lil nuggets of ideas or scenes decades in advance that I get so excited about I literally construct the plotline around them. So I get to weave in all these flash forwards/flash backs knowing that moment is coming, and when we finally get there there’s such a moment of payoff for me.

🏵️: Sim Style

Sim style?! Nonny I am shooketh! Mostly because compared to other folks on Tumblr I don’t really feel like I have a simstyle? Other than makeup (which I cannot do IRL or in the sims) I’m probably the least comfortable making sims more than I am doing anything else in the game (like out of all CAS, build, and gameplay elements). I don’t use a lot of skin details or CC presets so I often worry they can look a little “blah” in comparison. But I am happy you love them 🥺

🪷: Editing Style/Aesthetics

Yessss! I love this one! So fun fact about me I will basically go watch a film just for the cinematography. Like a well shot, stunning aesthetic does more for me than much else and can honestly carry a weak plot. I think alot of my own love for simblr comes from seeing that same eye for detail and aesthetics carry into a hobby I’ve always loved (simming since ‘02 baby) so I’m honored you count me in that number 💕

💐: World-Building

So honestly this one is never seen in total because we just get sprinkles of it throughout the posts, but the actual, physical act of building out a sims world might be one of the things that takes me the longest. I’m so incredibly picky about whether or not a build “fits” on the lot and the surroundings that I end up spending hours editing anything I download. It’s one of the most daunting things for the next gen, even though I’ve been working on it since the 1910s.

And is the 🫶🏼 just for love because a 🫶🏼 right back at you my dearest one.

😭 Thank you so much, that means so much to me! I never though I'd do anything fantasy because it never was my thing until I started reading the "a court of" series lol. I'm sorry for being a dumbass but do you mean lookbooks as CC from other people and make a look, or make my own lookbook with my own CC? If the first, I don't think I will, but WCIF's are always very welcome. If the second, the hair is by me, I didn't think anyone would be interested but if people are I can make more fantasy themed hairs! Feel free to let me know! :)

2020 Simblr Goals // even though i didn’t get tagged by anyone, it seemed fun and smart to do haha

1. Being more diverse in creating sims and finding my simstyle, i just feel like everyone’s sims are so good always and mine are just “meh” haha.. doing townie makeovers will help me with this for sure i think 2. Doing more simdumps and opening simrequests more often, only if you would be interested tho haha 3. Building more in the sims, last year building really was so much fun to me.. but in 2019 i just kinda lost that interest.. i wanna find it back 4. Keep the sim wives going, you know i love some drama and the ladies are definitely giving all the goods this first season.. [ note to self: don’t rush it! ] 5. Interact more with followers and simblr friends, i feel like sometimes it looks like i only reach out to people on simblr if i need anything from them but i am honestly just kinda awkward haha and a lot of the time i am really scared people here are just annoyed by me.. 6. Finding my own simblr style, lord knows i have tried some stuff in 2020 but nothing is really clicking with me so far.. gonna try to keep what i’m gonna do now (with like the simlishs in the right corner) 7. Last but not least.. Share more amazing simblr content of others, @cherrylattesims is doing an amazing job with her simblr shoutouts and i remember how happy i was when my old blog got a shoutout.. so that makes me wanna shoutout more people this year haha
