i don't believe in love languages per say but i do think physical touch is something domi gravitates a lot to and, even though that was not the case for trent, it starts to be while they're together; first he starts to accept it from domi, missing it when it's not there, then he starts realizing domi appreciates him being physical with him, touching him all the time etcetcetc, so he does that, first consciously because he wants to make an effort, and then uncousciously because he gets so used to it; and that leads to him being way more physical with everyone around him, friends, family, teammates, it just becomes second nature to him
