notes. hi there, welcome back! thank you for all of the likes on my previous ‘enchanted’ piece, i appreciate it <3 here’s a little drabble with some of my favorite genshin short kings ! ! all of them are 5’3” except xiao WHO IS AN INCH SHORTER :sobs: how could hoyoverse do that to my baby >_< it’s okay xiao will always be taller in my heart 😍

xiao always answers your calls. no matter what time of day it is or what he’s in the middle of doing, he will always pick up the phone.

whenever you facetime him at two in the morning because you can’t sleep, the first thing he says when he accepts the call is, “do you want me to come over?”

before long you’re huddled up in bed with your head against your boyfriend's chest, his tattooed arms snug around your waist. “is this better?” xiao jokes, pulling the blankets tighter around your bare shoulders.

“much better,” you say, burying yourself deeper in the crook of his neck. “i love you.” the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and the feeling of his fingers stroking your hair is enough to make your fall fast asleep soon after.

xiao smiles and plants a gentle kiss on your forehead. “sweet dreams, my love.”

albedo always takes the time to make you lunch to bring to work in the mornings. your health is his number one priority, and he wants to make sure you always having something healthy and filling to eat.

he’s always been an early riser, so it fits perfectly within his morning routine to pack you lunch. it’ll be something different every day; some days it’s a signature mondstadt salad, and other days it might be an inazuma-style bento box, like the one you said you wanted to try when you saw it at the grocery store with him.

sometimes you’ll wake up and go down to the kitchen to find him in the middle of preparing your lunch; he’ll kiss you good morning as he cuts up apple slices.

when you wake up on your afternoon shift days, you’ll notice the neatly packed container of food sitting on the kitchen counter, along with a bottle of water and a handwritten sticky note on the box’s lid with be sure to eat. i love you. -albedo

scaramouche supports you on all of your social media platforms. as a former internet influencer, he shows his love by helping you grow more popular.

one day, all of scara’s instagram followers were shocked when they saw the “0 following” turn into “1 following.” that one person, was you. not long after that, he posted a new story full of silly pictures of you and him, captioned “i wanna punch them (with my lips).”

scaramouche’s contact name for you is “my idiot 🖤” and though he’ll never admit it, he’s always stealing a glance at his phone to check if you texted him or not.

the moment you type “hi” he’ll respond with “what do you want” 0.000012875 seconds after you sent it. you’re always shocked, “how do you reply so fast ??” and then he leaves you on read 💀

kazuha leaves little notes for you everywhere. in between the pages of your notebook, stuck to the bathroom mirror, on top of your laptop.

the notes are short, but always so sweet; things like “i left a little surprise for you :)” with a handmade gift or a cheesy joke such as “are you the sun? because my whole world revolves around you. ;D”

he’ll always draw adorable little doodles of cats and leaves on the notes, and maybe even write a love poem for you if there’s enough space.

every note always manages to bring a smile to your face; you keep all of his notes in a mini album to carry around with you, so whenever you’re away or feeling sad you can take it out and read his sweet, loving words.

ending notes. and there you have it! this was so much less stressful than enchanted but it still took me a few days to finish it :/ sorry for the late night post but this was very cute and much easier to write, so i hope you enjoyed reading as much as i enjoyed writing ! ! ♡

Learn to love yourself

Synopsis: There are things about you that you can hate. Curves that are too pronounced. A face that is too round. A more self-effacing character. And you sometimes wonder, "Why did he choose me?"

Note: I love writing about Venti, especially since I started writing "Before the Sun and Moon." I know this character isn't necessarily the most beloved of the boys, and I won't hide the fact that Diluc is still number one in my heart. Nevertheless, I hope to make him more attractive to you… On the other hand, it's quite short, but I appreciate having written for these three characters.

Sitting in front of your dressing table, your eyes stared at that large brown spot with no distinct shape imprinted on your neck since birth. You hated it, you always did… Not only were you born with it, but it was in a place that was nearly impossible for you to cover, except in the winter when you wore turtlenecks. Of course, you tried to use makeup to hide this birthmark, but despite your best efforts, it was impossible to cover it completely.

Your frustration and discomfort had intensified when you met Venti. Over the months, he had become so dear to your heart. So gentle and loving, making you feel beautiful and loved. You had done everything to hide this flaw from him, for fear that it would disgust him… But Venti was the kind of man who liked physical contact, and he often wondered why you always wore something around your neck, preventing him from placing teasing kisses on it. But he never forced you to respond, showing patience and restraint.

Caressing your birthmark with your fingertip, your mind wandering in the twists and turns of your imagination, you didn't notice that your boyfriend had come in through your bedroom window, as he so often did with his anemo vision. When you felt lips brush against your ear, a gasp almost made you fall off the stool you were sitting on as your hand reflexively came to cover your neck.

"Venti! I already told you not to come in through the window!" The young man laughed as usual, apologizing without much conviction as his aqua green eyes seemed to be drawn to what your hand was hiding.

"What are you hiding from me my dove?"

"I-I- Nothing at all! Go wait for me in the living room!" Venti did not move as you asked, instead tilting his head to the side when he caught the tremor in your voice.

"What are you so afraid of, my sweet spring? Don't tell me someone has hurt you?" Venti walked over to you, settling behind your back, his hands firmly on your tense shoulders. When you looked at his face in the reflection of the mirror, something unusual caught your eye… His eyes and the tips of his pigtails were glowing with an intense glow, identical to that of his anemo vision. Anger seemed to be what had triggered this strange reaction.

"No one hurt me… I-" You lowered your head, tightening your grip on your neck. It was then that tender arms encircled your chest as Venti's face rested on the hollow of your shoulder.

"So tell me what you're afraid of. I love you my dove, you know you can tell me anything."

"I don't want to put you off me…" Venti moved slightly away from you, his bewildered eyes staring at you as if you had just said the stupidest thing in the world. You turned your face toward him, your lips close to his. Your hand trembled against your skin, hesitant to move against his gaze. "I love you Venti, I don't want to lose you. You're the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. Try to understand me…" Venti sighed, delicately moving closer to you to place a tender but brief kiss on your lips. As soon as he pulled away, the young man rested his forehead against your shoulder, his arms tightening their grip around you.

"It's more like I should be afraid of losing you. There's so much about me that you don't know… That could scare you or worse, make you hate me. Believe me when I tell you that you are more precious to me than anything else in the world. You will never keep me away from you. Never." Tears welled up in your eyes and slowly, carefully, you slid your hand down your neck, revealing the mark that painted your skin. You closed your eyes, waiting for your lover's reaction. You felt him move behind you before the warmth of his lips kissed your birthmark, making you flinch slightly. "You are beautiful, Y/N. More beautiful than anything I've ever seen. Sweeter than any poem I've ever heard or sung. I'm so glad I met you." And before he could give you time to respond, he held you closer to him, placing eager kisses on your neck, letting only a few moans escape your lips. Venti accepted you completely, carving out a place in your heart that would be reserved for him forever. You hoped that one day he too would be able to face his fears and open up to you…

"Did you see how skinny she is." Whispered a passerby to her friend.

"Yes, how awful!"

"Don't tell me that the handsome blond guy with her is her boyfriend?"

"No way!" Sneered the stranger.

Dainsleif turned around to face the two women who were openly criticizing you, his cool gaze and poise silencing them immediately. He proudly took your hand to lead you away from the atmosphere that he knew was making you sadder than ever.

Dainsleif was not always present at your side, too busy fighting the abyss and protecting the world you lived in. He always expressed his affection, his love for you. But you couldn't help thinking that these women were right… You were too thin, wiry, nothing attractive to men. Dainsleif was… well he was perfect. An angelic face, blond hair framing his jaw perfectly, blue eyes that seemed to hold a deep, quiet ocean, a beautifully sculpted body…

"Don't pay attention to what they say." Dain muttered softly as he continued to walk quietly, his hand still firmly holding yours.

"Why? You know it's the truth. I don't need them to know that my body is… Hideous. I don't even know what attracted you to me in the first place." Dainsleif paused, slowly turning to face you, his gaze still soft when it came to you. His free hand came to rest on your cheek, his thumb tenderly caressing your skin.

"I love your eyes." He said softly, his caresses extending to your eyelid. "I love your nose." The warmth of his finger ran along the bridge of your nose until it reached your mouth, his thumb lovingly brushing your bottom lip. "I love your lips." His hand planted itself on the back of your neck, drawing you into a sudden, deep kiss, eliciting soft moans between breaths. "I love your voice." Finally, he gently placed his forehead against yours, keeping his hand in your hair. Closing your eyes, you both savored this tender moment. "Do you need a reason to love someone? I love you for who you are, not for what others think of you. I absolutely love every part of your body, every part of your soul." And you knew that Dainsleif spoke sincerely, he was a man who never lied, his sincerity and honesty could sometimes be hurtful, but always helped you move on. More than that, Dainsleif had helped you learn to love yourself step by step, even if it wasn't always easy, even if the looks on your face kept tearing you apart from the inside, as long as he stayed by your side, the world would keep turning.

"I love you Dain." A rare frank smile stretched his features as he pulled you closer to him.

"I love you Y/N." Such simple words yet brimming with emotion when spoken by him. Dainsleif held you in his arms for a long time, kissing every part of your face that your proximity allowed him to reach. Ignoring the regular passage of strangers, their curious eyes gazing at your two bodies tenderly entangled against each other.

Ayato was the very personification of perfection. He was an upright man, always elegant, always polite, always discreet… A clan leader leading the cultural commission with a masterful hand. When he spoke, people listened, when he fought, it was always with elegance and determination. However, Ayato had sides that he preferred to hide from others, even from his sister. Manipulative, cunning, ingenious, hiding behind his false smiles his real intentions. Only in front of you could he show himself… The trust and love he had for you made you so happy and yet… You were infuriatingly clumsy. Appearances in Inazuma were something essential in society, the slightest slip could bring shame and dishonor to a clan… Slipping on a stone in public. Spilling a cup of tea. Breaking a precious object. Ayato always stood behind you, catching your blunders. You were so ashamed of yourself. So ashamed to embarrass him in front of those who held him in respect.

You were a burden in his life…

Little by little, you began to refuse to accompany him to official dinners or meetings with other clan leaders, using any excuse to justify your absence from his side. But Ayato wasn't blind, watching your every reaction with sadness. He wanted to wait for you to make the first move to confide in him, which you never did… You were pulling away from him, and he couldn't stand that.

"Y/N, how about coming with me to this new restaurant they opened in town? They serve some strange drinks there that I would love to try."

"Not tonight Ayato, I have to visit a sick friend." Ayato watched you out of the corner of his eye, putting on his gloves with more rigor than he wanted.

"You don't have any sick friends." He said simply, pulling on his white jacket over his shirt, consciously ignoring the stiffness in your body at his words. "I asked Thomas to watch you when I couldn't. I was worried about your change in attitude. Why are you avoiding me Y/N? I'd rather you tell me if I've done anything that might have hurt you than watch you grow further and further away from me." You remained silent, clenching your fists in your lap. Ayato sighed loudly, his arms falling heavily at his sides. "Do you still love me?" He asked in a quavering voice, fear soaking into it like ink on paper.

"Of course!"

"Then why do I feel like I'm losing you?" Ayato finally turned to you, his face marked by loneliness and anxiety. "Tell me what I've done, and I promise to do everything I can to make it up to you. I love you and-I don't want to see you walk away from me again."

"You didn't do anything wrong! I'm the one who… I'm embarrassing you with my clumsiness. I feel… Unworthy of you." You lowered your head, hiding the feeling of humiliation that invaded you behind your closed eyelids. Ayato seemed to want to remain silent, his blue eyes watching you carefully. How could he let you think that about yourself? Did you really think you were beneath him? Ayato felt hurt… Not because of you, no, but because of his own incompetence. Wasn't it him who didn't deserve you? After all, he hadn't been able to immediately see the distress his status had caused you. Hesitantly, he slowly approached you, kneeling beside you and lifting your chin to him with his fingertip.

"Forgive me for not understanding what was wrong…" Your eyes glistened with tears that you refused to let fall. "I love your clumsiness. I love your innocence as well as your pure naivety. All these parts of you melt my heart. It doesn't matter what other people think… Did you ever notice my amusement when you spilled your tea on one of the clansmen?" A tear rolled down your cheek as a soft smile stretched your lips. "Or the tenderness in my eyes when you caught yourself on my arm when you were about to fall? Ayato placed a soft kiss on your forehead. "Oh, and that day when you broke a Kujou clan vase. If I hadn't had my younger sister by my side, I don't think I would have been able to keep my urge to laugh out loud locked inside me." Said he, starting to laugh as he reviewed the images flashing through his head. A blush warmly invaded your cheeks as you tugged on the sleeve of his coat, laughing softly with him.

"It's-It's okay I get it! You can stop right there!" Ayato slowly stopped laughing, affection evident in his eyes focused on you.

"I love you my precious Y/N. Don't turn away from me. You bring so much joy to my life… More than I could ever feel. Don't be ashamed of yourself, because I absolutely love all sides of you." He placed a tender kiss on your lips before rising to his feet, reaching out to help you. "Well, how about we go taste this drink that seems to be all the rage?"

"D-Don't come complaining if I spill my drink on you!" A wry smile spread across his face.

"I wouldn't complain, considering you'll be the one to clean me up." The man made you stammer incoherent words, the red on your cheeks spreading to your ears. "Perhaps I should force this inevitable fate and bring about the catastrophe?" Ayato brought your hand to his lips, a mischievous smile on his face.

"You wouldn't dare!?" A squeak escaped your lips as he pulled you outside the Kamisato domain, lovingly intertwining his fingers with yours…

Part 3 (Woo y'all waited a while for this one now at the very least I have some clue on what I would like to do for this story)

Okay ok okay, time to cool down not like I just met the love of my life or anything, nope not at all. Except yes! I just did! He was the one and only adeptus XIAO, the sole yaksha, conqueror of demons, protector of Liyue!! Ugh my heart hurts welp time to focus can’t just go off into fantasy land (even if I technically am in a fantasy land how does that work actually…) not the point. I need to figure out a to-do list of things since I am now stranded here and can’t rely on Aether’s kindness forever. 

Get some clothes that actually fit -do I need to have multiple sets or does cartoon logic work here? better not ask and just look-

Meet with Zhongli -wait should that be first??- figure out my situation and try to get some answers though I doubt he has any

Find a job, probably something relatively easy like clerical work, I can do that. Probably not joining the adventurer's guild. I can't stand being outdoors for too long and don’t know how to fight.

Make some friends! Good options would be Yun Jin, Xiangling, Hu Tao, and Xinyan; approach Xiangling or Hu Tao first, most likely to introduce me to the others.

Make XIAO FALL MADLY IN LOVE  maybe leave that one out for now:

For now that list should work oh wait Aethers calling me. “Hey why’d you slow down” “Oh just got a bit too into my thoughts, sorry about that.” “No worries we’re here by the way”. Wow I didn’t even notice did we really walk that far I thought we would have to camp, guess video game logic saves the day again. 

“Hey you hungry?”Aether questions “I know a place to grab a bite”, “Yeah I haven’t really eaten anything since I got here so that’d be nice” sweet if this works he may introduce me to Xiangling then I make friends in Liyue number 1. 

“Come on you two slowpokes Paimon is starving” we both rush forward, rushing past the Milleth guarding Liyue’s gates. After catching up with Paimon we start walking over to what I can only assume is Wanmin Restaurant. As we walk I take this time to look around, Liyue is just as gorgeous in person as it is in the game. I see beautiful buildings with intricate wooden designs, silk flowers and glaze lilies blooming. The sun is setting over the horizon across the sea as you can hear people chattering and the crashing of waves. The Crux seems to be docked. Beidou must be here to see Ninnuang, maybe we will meet Kazuha.  …oh we’re here

“Wanmin restaurant Paimon thinks it may be the best restaurant in Liyue!” “Maybe that hurts Paimon after all we’ve been through” Xiangling walks out of the front door there’s an actual indoor seating area, huh that’s new. “ Hello Aether, Paimon, and oh who is this?” Xiangling asks curiously. “ Hi, I’m (y/n) pleased to meet you” “Oh a new face it’s nice to meet you two”. Aether responds saying “ Ya they're new to Liyue so I decided to show them around” smooth Aether. “OH I’d love to introduce you to some new foods! Have you ever tried Liyuen cuisine?” “No I haven’t” I politely respond to Xiangling, I don’t think Chinese food counts. “Well then obviously you have to! Since you're here and all, sit down, I'll whip up something real quick for you” Xiangling rushes to the kitchen. 

After a while we finished eating “Wow that was delicious thank you Xiangling” I smiled up at her, “oh it was no trouble at all anything for a new friend! A friend of the traveler’s is a friend of mine”Xiangling quickly responds back. “I think we should head home now thanks for the meal Xiangling,” Aether says. “Anytime come back soon okay!” We wave goodbye to Xiangling as we start walking away. 

“So where are you planning to go, Aether?” I obviously know it’s the teapot but I can’t let him know that. “Oh we have a place to stay since we travel all the time, here take this talisman you’ll need it to get it.” After stating that we are all immediately transported to the teapot. It’s so beautiful inside, I gasp just taking in the wonder of it all. “Sorry for the suddenness of it. Anyway, we can stay here for the night and then meet up with a friend of mine who may have some knowledge on your situation. There’s a bedroom right over there you can stay in for the night.” I’m pretty tired so I’m gonna head to bed good night (y/n).” “Goodnight Aether, goodnight Paimon.” I start walking over to the room thinking about everything that happened today, I don’t think this is ever how I would have thought my first day in Teyvat would go. Welp time to sleep.

(A/N sorry for the lack of Xiao in this chapter I really just wanted to set up the next part, so this is really just filler, it's going somewhere I swear)

My Top 10 In Order:

1. Itto x Gorou -

The first Genshin Ship in my collection and still number one. Itto is always the first to fall in my ship and THE definition of golden retriever energy. When Gorou begins to notice his attention on him more often, he gets flustered and slowly falls for him back. Precious wholesome warriors, making a great team and greater lovers.

2. Cyno x Tighnari -

2nd place mostly cause of canon team-up and fanart. Also been debating on which one I'd be good at cosplaying if only I had the money (leaning toward Cyno.) Cyno is the first to fall and even while Tighnari cringes at his jokes, we all know he gives that clear "you're lucky I love you" face. I dream of a relationship like theirs.

3. Kaveh x Alhaitam -

Saw it once or twice on my Twitter feed until it turned into nothing but Kavetham and Cynari, and I eventually began to obsess. Alhaitham surprisingly falls first but can't express it properly, like a neurodivergent with alexithymia. Kaveh slowly shifts his thoughts of Alhaitham from "can't believe I put up with that guy"  to "can't believe I'm in love with that guy". I think the autistic introvert -&- depressed extrovert angle may make for some interestingly dramatic angst. Good angst is fun to write. Plus, I'm on the spectrum and I can confirm that reading emotions (even our own) is either hard or near impossible.

4. Ayaka x Lumine -

The traveler I went with in my game is Lumine and I fell for Ayaka hard when we hung out at a festival before Lumine is made an enemy of the shogunate. Clearly, in the game, Ayaka falls in love first; but I also made an OC named Yuna Ren who fell for Ayaka as a child. I know it's cringe but... It's Ayaka-chan! I can admit I'm a bit of a simp for her.

5. Bennett x Razor -

When I found out they were friends, it was cool, but I saw something more building. Razor falls first, though doesn't understand it. Bennett enjoys having a more permanent team member and grows closer every day. They're super cute little twinks.

6. Ningguang x Beidou -

Two boss girls both dom energy however with good communication it works. Also whenever I feel like I ship too many dudes, I look at hot-I mean-pretty girls with chemistry. (Honestly, I'm surprised with how many mlm ships I have.) Ningquang falls first and... I may have an idea for an erotica oneshot. Stay tuned.

7. Xiao x Aether -

Mainly cause of fanart and if Lumine has Ayaka, the twin bro deserves a lil something special too. Xiao falls first. I mean- c'mon. That guy shows up within a second of calling his name like a genie.

8. Albedo x Sucrose -

Such a sweet and gentle intelligent pair. Sucrose falls for Albedo, and I can see Sucrose being his personal art model. If it was possible, I'd most likely cosplay as albedo (since him and HatGuy are the closest things I find to canon enby's in the game and not much a fan of the wanderer except his skill.)

9. Kazuha x Heizou -

Heizou's voicelines about Kazuha are really intresting. He obviously falls first and makes complex plans to hang out with him. They look very cute together.

10. Zingqui x Chongyun -

Sometimes when 2 characters just stand side-to-side in canon and if you see enough fanart, that's enough to ship two characters. Xingqiu falls first for the exorcist. I also think the combos of blue between the two is pretty nice.

In the weeks leading up to 3.4, I’ve been on a bit of a rollercoaster with my hype for Alhaitham. I never once thought “maybe I wont pull him” so nothing terribly extreme, but the beta doomposting did get me down. 

But I just saw a post on the alhaithammains subreddit that reminded me of something.

While I might like big numbers and playing with meta IN THEORY- I have never been a meta slave. Will I research a character to hell and back to see where they are most powerful? Yes. Will I build a character I dont particularly like bc theyre “meta”? Sometimes.

But I have a few “meta” characters that I’ve just... never really played bc I don’t like their playstyle. Hu Tao and Xiao are prime examples. I’ve had them since their releases- even leveled to 80 and 90 respectively. I really like their characters and stories and personalities, but I just dont really like their playstyles.

Then there are characters like Itto- whom I fell in love with instantly. He was my #1 scrimblo after more or less every character being neat but not someone I HAD to have since Tartaglia. I didn’t care what his kit was- I needed him. And I pulled him and it took me a good while to get used to his playstyle and build him to the absolute powerhouse that he is, but I WANTED that investment for him and he is probably my strongest unit atm. I didn’t have his full meta team- but I eventually got the missing piece (Albedo) on a rerun.

Is he meta? No. Most of my mains aren’t. Ayato, Itto, Tart, Miko, Cyno, Diluc, Tighnari. My most meta units that I actually play are Zhongli, Kokomi, and Kazuha, and theyre all just supports lol.

I think it is going to be the same for Alhaitham for me. I don’t REALLY care what his kit is. He was an immediate need for me just by virtue of his design and personality. Do I have his meta team? No, but maybe I’ll get Nahida on her rerun to take him to the next level. But I still think he’ll be strong without her in the meantime, because I WANT to invest in him. Not because he’s meta.

TLDR: reminding myself that its okay to skip “meta” characters bc unless I’m invested in them and/or love their kits, I probably won’t play them anyway.

7. who is your least favorite character?

i don't hate anyone ! i mean this with my whole heart. even with like dori she's just kind of a (rolls eyes) character for me. i also kinda grew to tolerate eula at some point even though she's still a (rolls eyes) too. i used to mildly dislike miko but she's ok now, and baizhu who is more of a bwehh type for personal reasons. but again i think everyone is fine and very lovely i love teyvat >w<

20. who is the most useful character in your opinion?

there's zhongli, still the best shielder since 1.1, great for everything, can fit into most teams, if you have him you won't have to worry about taking damage especially if you're bad at dodging. if not zhongli then you should at least pick another shielder to build, like diona is great especially with cryo dpses. some of the higher investment 4*s like bennett, xingqiu, xiangling, fischl - everyone else has their own kind of niche but you can never go wrong with raising these four, at least bennett if no one else. he's a double healer and buffer which will do you well especially in endgame content. xingqiu as an off-field hydro applicator who deals a lot of damage when built well (yelan is better in this role but i believe c6 xingqiu can definitely compare to her). xiangling is actually a beast as one of the standing burst pyro dpses who works in the national comp with bennett and xingqiu. and then fischl as a well-rounded off field electro dps and battery to pair with your hydro or dendro dpses ! speaking of dendro nahida is just really great, and i believe shinobu has also become a top pick as electro support in dendro teams since she heals, but probably otherwise fischl is better since fischl can deal significant damage. funnily enough with the introduction of dendro, it seems like most people have been using raiden shogun less as a hypercarry and more as an electro enabler in dendro teams, but i remember raiden national being a really good comp too. there's also the category of anemo ccs like sucrose, kazuha, venti - i don't think venti is very good nowadays but kazuha is definitely up there being one of the best and sucrose is basically budget kazuha. for main dpses it's extremely volatile, like in my time the top 3 were ayaka, hu tao, and ganyu, but i think ganyu has fallen off. hu tao and ayaka are still great though in pyro and cryo respectively, and according to my qpp neuvillette is the number 1 dps right now especially with fontaine rolling out a new hydro meta. navia is also very good in terms of pure damage but she's like way different from her geo friends. and thenn i believe for dendro the top pick is alhaitham. i'm not saying that out of bias at all i'm pretty sure he is HSJDHS. electro and anemo are a bit obsolete at this moment in terms of dps since electro is mostly used to pair for dendro and anemo just can't beat the support element allegations. xiao fell off a long time ago and apparently wanderer wasn't very good either. but i do think these two have a fun playstyle and as long as you have fun yknow!

23. bow, sword, polearm, claymore or catalyst?

my favorite is polearm followed by sword! i looove spamming fast attacks. my favorites have always been those like zhongli, rosaria, xiao, thoma, cyno, and then sword of course being aya - i also enjoy bow but i kind of have skill issue with them... i think because i play tighnari a lot on my qpp's account and he does have a fun playstyle to me !

Before the game

Just you casually asking “Hey, do you have an extra jersey?”

Him seriously wondering why you’re asking that. “I do, why?”

You hesitate to say it cause it seems a little silly but end up telling him while NOT looking at him. “I was thinking of wearing it to your next game,”

He stops what he’s doing and is picturing the moment in his mind.

The other members are grinning ear to ear cause he’s been looking at you for 10 seconds straight with that “im trying not to smile but im failing” silly grin on his face.

They’re amused cause this is their captain who is usually put together and now just softly melting

Is mostly focused on the game, but can’t help looking up at you during timeouts or during the few seconds before someone makes their serve. 

Tries his best not to be distracted though. (He’s lowkey playing so well too)

After the game

Will ask the coach to order more of his jersey just so he can give it to you

He’s staring at you waiting for you to explain.

His eyebrows quirk up in realization and he shuffles into his backpack to look for his extra one.

“...You don’t have to give it back... Keep it...” because he is not even gunna hide the fact that he thinks its a good idea.

During the game

Has gone to bed every night just picturing how you would look in it

Still replays in his mind how you walk into the gym in his jersey, looking a little bashful. 

You came a little earlier to wish him good luck and the other members tease him far too much for it, they love pissing Diluc off.

Diluc himself doesn’t say much because his team is chaotic.

But he drags you away from them just to kiss your hand and tell you that they’ll definitely win today

THRIVING in the game. It’s like he’s got extra batteries on him today.

After the game

The coach deadass wonders if he should approach you and tell you to wear the jersey each game cause Diluc was on FIRE

Diluc asks Albedo for all those photos he took, with a straight face.

Albedo sends it to him, with a straight face.

It’s when his happiness is most apparent cause he’s managed to shake off his members who are busy with freshening up while he approaches you and says “Thank you,” with a small smile on his lips, eyes averted, hand sheepishly scratching the back of his head.

#3 Kaeya (Middle Blocker)

Before the game

You don’t have to ask for it he has given it to you LONG before

He said something like “Here, take it, in case I get famous one day. I’m sure you’ll want one,” and has a shit-eating grin.

Just that you’ve never worn it.

Will hint from time to time that you can use his extra jersey whenever you want to.

During the game

Did not know what he was expecting when you come into the gym wearing his jersey.

I mean sure he DID want you to do that and he’d been hinting at it from time to time but it hit differently when he sees you up there in the stands with it on.

If he has time he’ll run up there, hug you and probably take a selfie with you.

If not he’ll be raring to go and possibly giving you a thumbs up whenever he does something cool in court like a “That’s all for you and BECAUSE of you” indication

usually 100% smug today he’s 1000% smug

Will say something like, “Can’t lose today my partner in crime’s representing me!” (Loud enough so that the other team can hear and start searching for you in the stands)

After the game

Drags you down to the court to show off (both to his team and the other)

“Doesn’t Y/N look so enchanting today?”

Here his teammates start to take jabs at him.

Xiao: “...Were you forced into this?”

Tartaglia: “So how much did he pay you?”

Albedo: “...We could use a new middle blocker,”

Diluc: “...I’m still sorry you’re dating my brother,”

Kaeya brushes it all off and equates it to them being jealous

#4 Albedo (Setter)

Before the game

You don’t think he would say no because he’s a pretty simple guy. If you ask him, he’ll give a straightforward and honest answer.

“I wanted to wear your jersey in your next game, have you got a spare?”

Will hand you a spare with no expression whatsoever in his face but when you’re about to grab it from his hand, he tightens his grip on it.

You look him in the eye, confused.

“You’re 100% sure that you’ll wear it tomorrow?” man just wants to be SURE he won’t be disappointed and anticipating nothing.

During the game

He likes to think his glances towards you is “secret” but his members definitely see his eyes darting up to the stands more than usual.

Deadass doesn’t even know himself why the image and thought of you in it is so...exhilarating

Like it’s just a jersey...but then it’s HIS jersey. And it’s wrapped around you and you’re wearing it so proudly!

That’s probably it. The fact that you’re waving his name around like a flag.

He figures all of this during the game and finally brings his A-game at the image of you proudly cheering him on

After the game

He approaches you after he’s all freshened up and changed into other clothes.

Again he walks up to you without saying anything but just takes in the image of you wearing it.

“...You can wear it during other things too,” he suddenly says and you ask what he means.

He shrugs. “Anything, if you’re going out, going to sleep, or...anything,”

That’s when you realize he likes it WAY MORE than he shows he does.

#5 Tartaglia (Middle Blocker/Wing Spiker)

Before the game

Is the one who asks you to wear it. “Please, pretty please!” Complete with a puppy dog look.

It’s his dream to have someone wear his jersey and cheer for him.

Will not fail to text and remind you about it: “Hey! Remember our deal okay?” “Call out for me when you arrive at the gym!” “I can’t wait!” “Send me a photo?”

During the game

Has been telling his team that you’ll come to the game in his jersey

When you arrive at the stands he points you out to his team “SEE!! LOOK LOOK!!” as if it was the greatest discovery of the century.

You turn and circle around to model the jersey for his team while you’re up there (something he definitely told you to do, and you did NOT know how to feel about actually doing it)

1000% pumped up and clearly more ruthless in his game today.

He’s also clearly showing off to you cause he points at you after each block/serve and LOUDLY states “That one was for you Y/N! You look so good in it!”

The other team definitely finds it annoying

I mean what did you expect, dating this guy...

After the game

Takes selfies with you or asks one of his members to take a proper photo of the two of you in matching jerseys.

Is so giddy and happy he looks like a kid in a candy shop

You’re surprised when he asks for the jersey back. “Oh but... don’t wash it though... I mean, you know, it definitely smells like you now! So I want it back, I’ll give you a fresh new one for next time!”

You tell him that’s kinda creepy but he takes a jab at you “Awe come on! You like the smell of my hoodies too!”

He ain’t wrong.

#6 Kazuha (Decoy/Middle Blocker/Wing Spiker)

Before the game

Respects your boundaries and is mindful that you might not be comfortable in wearing his jersey in a semi-public setting

So is surprised when you bring it up, “...I wanted to wear your jersey for your next game...If you’re okay with it,”

“Of course love, don’t push yourself though. Whenever you’re ready,” but is secretly LEAPING in his chest.

He’s lowkey excited to see it on you.

During the game

It’s exactly how he pictured it on you. Even better!

To him it’s like the sun walking into the dreary and dark gym and now everything is so much better.

He can’t really explain what it is that makes him so happy but he’s definitely loving it.

There’s a permanent smile on his face, even when they’re all sweaty and tired. 

He’ll push on. How could he not when you’ve clearly put your full support?

He doesn’t notice it himself but he’s UNSTOPPABLE today and it’s pissing the other team off

After the game

It’s like he didn’t play a game at all, he’s still on normal energy levels.

He walks up to you all sweaty but still talks to you as if there’s a sweet flowery background behind him

“Thanks for the support Y/N,” with a kiss on the cheek. “It definitely helped,”

Asks if he can take a picture, he takes several and he still secretly swipes through them from time to time.

He can’t really express how he feels into words, he just thinks you look absolutely great in it even though it’s just a shirt. 

Every time he thinks of it, it’ll always put a giddy smile on his face.

#7 Xiao (Libero)

Before the game

The most tsundere of all after hearing your question. “Do you have an extra jersey I can wear for your next game?”

He’s not looking at you but you can see the tips of his ears turn red. 

“Why do you want to wear it...” Grumbles under his breath but you catch it and tell him, “Oh, I just thought it’d be nice, if you don’t want me to wear it that’s fi--...”

You get cut off by a jersey hitting your face and landing on your lap.

Still doesn’t look at you and exits the conversation by saying he needs to go to the bathroom.

During the game

Glances at you ONCE and then gets goosebumps (the good kind), turns his vision away from the stands and tries not to freak out.

Zhongli is the one who notices that he’s extra fidgety today during the warm-ups “Xiao, everything okay?”

“Y-Yeah! Fine!” 

The other members pick up on it and finally realize it’s cause you’re wearing his jersey.

Tartaglia: “Awe you feeling shy, Xiao?”

Kaeya: “Looks really nice on Y/N!”

Diluc: “...If you’re distracted by it maybe we should ask her to change out of--”

Xiao: “NO! I’M FINE!”

That’s how they determine that his brain has slightly combusted and malfunctioned at the sight of you in his jersey. 

But still he’s a dedicated libero so he gets it together just before the game starts. 

He’s never going to admit it but he feels extra cool today even though he’s just receiving and playing as normal.

After the game

When you say “You were extra cool and handsome today!”, dressed in his jersey and looking at him proudly, he finally loses it.

You don’t really mean to make him flustered but he really did look so elegant while playing today.

“Stupid you can’t just say things out loud like that,” his cheeks are flushed and he’s trying to busy himself with packing his gym bag.

“...So you mean you don’t want me to wear it next time?” 

“I DIDN’T SAY THAT!”

Yeah no maybe you DO make him flustered on purpose.

#8 Thoma (Pinch Server/Middle Blocker)

Before the game

The most wholesome response “H-Huh? You want to wear my jersey... when?”

“To your next game,”

“You’re gunna cheer for me... in MY jersey with MY name and MY number on it?”

Honestly you don’t see what the big deal is but man is grinning ear to ear, you thought his mouth was about to split open.

“Of course it’s okay! I can’t wait to see you in it Y/N!” 

Might have practiced extra hard so that your cheering for him is not wasted.

During the game

If he has time, will scoop you in his arms and press you tight against him in the hug. He just can’t get over how wonderful it looks on you. He’ll probably coo things like “Oh it’s so lovely,” “You’re so charming,” “You’ll distract me today!”

Takes a proper selfie with you and immediately changes all his social media profile pictures. 

If he doesn’t have time he’ll still cup his hands around his mouth and shout to compliment you “You look great!” but that’s all, cause he knows you might feel shy about it. 

“I’ve got my darling watching and supporting me today, there’s no way we’ll lose!”

Waves at you from time to time up on the stands.

Is definitely more motivated than usual, and is itching to play.

After the game

Expect sweaty hugs.

He just can’t wait to give you the hugs you deserve, he has to do it right after they win.

Takes photos of you casually talking to his team members in HIS jersey and swoons at it whenever he has the chance.

I think he might have sent it to his family members as well, just showing off how supportive you are of him. 

Actually he might print it out and frame it. Then put it on his study table. 

Will definitely be more open in asking you to wear it again.

has never needed to go back to the blizzard strayer domain due to the amount of times he’s done it to get artifacts for his main

his only properly built characters r his two dps for abyss. his supports r all like lv70 with half leveled artifacts 

but somehow can do abyss up to floor 12??? even with his half built supports?? but he did floor 12 once and he got so stressed he rage quit the game

MAINS THE CHARACTERS THAT MANY PEOPLE DIDN’T PULL FOR. like kokomi and yoimiya 

loves playing co-op and being the healer. not just bc he thinks its helpful for the others but he likes to think abt how his teammate’s health is in his hands... so if ur rude to him .... he’s not healing u 😁

loves collecting namecards and changing his profile bc he thinks its cute

TEAPOT DECORATOR. his teapot is so beautiful like - you’d probably think he’s an interior designer

does decent dmg, the only reason why he isn’t doing super super super big numbers is bc of his artifact luck T_T (sunoo i will give u all my good artifact pieces.. even if i only have 2) 

doesn’t like killing slimes bc theyre too cute. thats why he buys slime condensate from paimons bargains

has made kokomi crit before. he is the number 1 kokomi enthusiast.

to be honest i think he’d be a yanfei main!! but if we’re talking abt 5 stars, then he’s a kazuha main!

loves exploring the map and gets excited when opening luxurious chests T_T (hes so CUTE)

INVESTED IN THE LORE. probably thinks of theories abt whats happening w celestia and everything 

if you’d ask him to help u a quest with smth he would Not hesitate because he’s done all of them. 

more invested in the lore and playing the game than the gacha aspect of it, probably has like 24k primogems

f2p. he’s not those like “f2p btw😆😆😆👍” people, he’s just never thought about spending money on it bc. he doesn’t want to

HU TAO MAIN. he has staff of homa and everything and got her to c1 

burns grass when playing with others in co-op to decrease their health. 

loses every single 50/50 to diluc. thats why he has c4 diluc im sorry riki 

yells out loud whenever he dies 

wants qiqi solely for the purpose of putting her and hu tao on the same team. but he has never gotten her (probably jealous of tuonto and his c16 qiqi) 

never saves reckless pallad (but tbh does anyone) 

likes using jean to throw other people who hes co oping with off high mountains. 

he’s like heeseung - oneshots everything. highest dmg is around one million smth. the both of them probably compete to see who can get the highest dmg w the same character 

LOVES INAZUMA DO I NEED TO SAY MORE :(( his exploration there is 100% and he has mastered all the inazuma recipes 

ar59. he is so close to ar60 tho
