Imagine trying to find some skin care products your friend recommended so you go to the nearest beauty shop by your dorm.

You walk in and look around for the skin care for a while staring at the link your friend sent you. Your gaze flickers from the photo of the cream back to the shelves wondering if it was even at this store. The workers asked you if you were alright but you nod and give them a smile saying you were fine.

After thirty minutes of loitering you decide to leave thinking you were unlucky in choosing the location. Before you could step out you feel a tight grip on your wrist and you turn back to see a handsome stranger in a white hoodie and some gray jeans. He seemingly glares at you looking you up and down and muttering words in Korean under his breath.

Before you could even understand what was happening he started dragging you throughout the store mumbling things under his breath like, “This can help with acne,” while placing seemingly random products in your basket. “Best treatment for blackheads and pores,” a nose strip gets placed in.

You protest trying to pull your wrist away and try to explain you won't be able to pay for the basket that seems like it could overflow if you keep walking with him. “Stop complaining. You're going to get wrinkles.” He grabbed an anti-aging cream this time and turned around to look you up and down again. You felt self-conscious under his gaze wondering if you should have tried harder with your outfit even if it was the weekend.

“Did you even try waking up in the morning?” He asked you with a tone that sounded like you woke up just to annoy him. You tried to hold back a scoff and discussed face at his words.

You can't even respond before he drags you to the cashier and looks at you with a raised brow.

“I’m sorry, but I can't pay for it.” You apologize for looking at the two zeros after the $34. “It’s too expensive anyways. I’m sorry for wasting your ti-”

“Stop apologizing.” He scoffs, flipping out his card from his wallet. He doesn't bat an eye as he places it in the register.

“No-! You really don't have to do that. Let me repay you somehow.” You tell him but something in your gut told you to let him pay for it and run with all the skincare you had no idea how to use.

“Who said I wasn't going to let you repay me?” He replied with a snarky voice. The cashier placed the jars, tubes, small cardboard boxes, and any other products he bought for you in a bag.

“It could take a while but I can get you the money-”

“7:30 pm tomorrow at the new French restaurant. Don't be late.” He turns around and starts to leave the shop. “I’m Min Ho. You don’t need to be afraid to follow me on insta. I have that effect on people.” You can hear a cocky laugh leave his lips as the automatic glass door closes leaving you staring at his retreating feature.

Maybe you should go shopping for a cute outfit today as well.

OHH WHERE DO I EVEN *BEGIN*!

First and foremost, just how *real* the characters feel. They have complex personalities, doubts, fears, concerns they don't show out loud. Every little bit you find out about them expands on this view. They even have conversations when you're not present! You can hear some of it during bathroom breaks.

Second and also just as huge is the worldbuilding. It's not shoved in your face either, just given to you naturally as you progress which is huge!! Characters of different regions have different beliefs, customs and religions. Even their own gastronomy! I won't go too far into detail to not spoil much for you, but I still adore it.

Third the love for detail. I just can't say enough how much I love that there are sooo many tidbits that change with each loop. The most obvious are your (Siffrin's) reactions as the time loops progress and you learn (and lose it). But it's not just that! Characters will have different responses based on the slightest changes, some events will vary completely and you are given so much freedom over how much you explore of them, too!

Even now during my second full in-depth playthrough I'm finding new interactions to lose my mind over.

There is much more, like just how much I love the characters and how I wish I could hug them because they are some of my favorite characterizations in the world, but at this point it'll turn into purely incoherent rambling and me crying about just how much I love this game.

Saw a kid with a sonic backpack while grocery shopping earlier today and I was like right on little dude! We love seeing that blue gumball son of a bitch get some love! Honestly such a highlight to my day, I love seeing Sonic at the most random times in my life.

LITERALLY AND ITS THE BEST THING

Random kids wearing sonic merch (my lil bro has a whole sonic COLLECTION on clothes its fuggin adorable.) The cursed plushies at a supermarket, sonic balloons, heck he could be a crumbled up sticker on the sidewalk and I'd still freak out like I'm 7 years old again.

Seeing one of your favorite characters irl will always be the best experience ever. I love that blue dude.

Honestly I also think Suguru is bi (I just know in my bones) but a lot of people always mention how he never answered Yuki when she asked him what’s his type of girl and I just think he was not well mentally and he was going through a lot idk

as for the yuki thing :3 to be clear i am always and i mean ALWAYS in support of gay interpretations of shounen scenes . they fill me with joy. and i very much like the idea that suguru ignored her because he didn’t see anyone except satoru as a romantic interest at the time (even if he might not have realized that himself)….. buuuut realistically speaking it was definitely just the fact that suguru was suspicious of her lmao. if a random woman walks into your school and asks you what your type is your first thought should not be to answer them, it should be contacting the faculty. suguru agrees.
