What a cute video 🥹 dogs are often so gentle with small creatures and babies. Retcon cat keeps a distance but also wants to keep an eye on the babies. So adorable. Animals are wonderful.

It’s goat introduction time✨

Meet Midlife Crisis

Midlife Crisis is constantly suffering from existential dread and loves pumpkins. Up until earlier this year she didn’t have much of a personality beyond that because she was busy defending her mother’s honor. Shes the second eldest daughter of our original herd queen and one of our first goats, Mama Boer. When Midlife’s older sister Bucket took over as herd queen (because Mama Boer was getting too old to lead and defend the position) Midlife Crisis became her defender of sorts. A lot of a goats position in the herd is based on fighting, there are genetic ties as well of course but there’s no respect in being unable to win a fight. While most of the goats had respect for the retired queen off the bat, the younger ones got rowdy occasionally. Midlife would be there to prevent them from fighting her. This is actually the only time I’ve ever seen a dynamic like that outside of a herd queen’s daughters defending her position, I’m assuming it’s because she was the retired queen? Anyways. Despite being one of the larger goats in the herd and clearly being able to hold her own, Midlife never picked fights outside of her job. That was until the passing of the OG queen herself, Mama Boer, this spring. This triggered a complete change in midlife’s behaviors, she’s well respected within the herd. Becoming a close confidant of the current queen despite her (the queen) not being related Crisis. Even with the character growth our dearest Midlife Crisis is still in a constant state of concern.

Her hobbies include,

Panicking at 1am and screaming at the top of her lungs like she’s dying.

Nursing her year old baby WHO DOESNT NEED NURSED PLEASE STOP BREAKING OUT TO FEED HER JUST LET HER BE WEANED IM BEGGING MAM.

And eating the caps off tire stems when she escapes.
