How many people read only headlines, online or even in shops browsing newspapers while waiting in the queue? And what do these headlines give us? Hannibal and Will are working together and FBI is in bed with the devil. "Be in bed with" is slang for having connections with a person or organization but the literal meaning when paired with Hannibal and Will's photos? When on top of that Freddie called them "murder husbands" before?

You know what people will gather from this.

basically, my welcome home next generation au features freddie, who now runs eddie’s post office! he even kept the name to honor his dad :) freddie grows up to…basically be a lot like eddie, actually lol😋 but better!!!! he’s book smart AND how-to smart!(not saying eddie isn’t book smart i just think he’s more of a how-to guy)!! like both eddie and frank :3

as an adult, freddie is very soft spoken and polite, and likes to chat about bugs or nature! :) his best friend(and secret crush but don’t tell her) is julie joyful’s daughter, janette jovial (janette isn’t scrapped anymore! i made her a next gen character instead)

he’s bisexual and a cis male btw (he/him)

in his spare time, he writes books and makes pretty paper cranes :3

since the next generation of welcome home/my au takes place in the 1990’s, he was born in 1970 and in the show’s reboot is around 22. (all the characters in the next generation are slightly younger than their parents)

freddie grew up in a very loving and supportive home, and had a pretty 10/10 childhood! he loves and adores both of his parents and likes to visit them often.

he’s well liked in the neighborhood, even though he can be a bit grumpy and snotty sometimes.

he’s also very clumsy just like eddie. and do NOT make him mad whatever you do because he WILL throw you across the neighborhood

he also has a pet chicken and his own little beehive in the back of his post office. he’s very cute,,,

a couple years ago, i got really ambitious and decided i was going to make a uquiz. it would be the uquiz to end all uquizzes, it would mean i used my history degree and it would be queer with a capital Q. and to be fair to past me, i did all the questions, had chosen what (or who, in this case) the results would be, and just had to write the bios for those results, which i did half of... and then crashed. two years later, i finally convinced myself to finish it off, so i mostly proudly present the 'which historical gay are you?' uquiz. if your result's bio is a little lacking, thats not because youre boring, it's because i'm chronically ill <3

freddie lounds is so funny. she antagonises violent criminals for the entire series. the stories she gets scoops on should be on the news but she writes for her gossipy private website. she's a sensationalist tabloid journalist talking about active serial killers. her hair is amazing. she's a girl's girl. she's career-driven. someone faked her death. everyone hates her. she's right about everything from day one. will's mad about it but he is doing murder now, so... 🤷‍♀️
