How would the ROs react to there's only one bed scenario? (Deep crush stage)

Tsubaki: Internal screaming intensifies. Would panic almost immediately. Would insist they sleep on the floor while you sleep on the bed. He’s not even close to being ready to be in such close proximity with you. He’d probably cry.

Hinotori: She promptly ignores the red in her cheeks and “begrudgingly” accepts to share the bed. Would secretly delight in being so close to you. She wonders what face you make when you’re sleeping. You’re adorable to her in any way, shape, or form so she knows your sleeping face must be lovely. Would watch you sleep beside her for at least 2 hours and then agonize over being creepy in the morning.

Niwa: Would share the bed, but worries the entire night. She tries so hard to respect your boundaries. If you cuddle up close to her shed stiffen and try to put distance between you. Her thoughts are going a mile a minute. Is she too warm? Is there enough space for you? Is she breathing too loud? She doesn’t get much sleep that night.

Kai: Just like Tsubaki, would panic immediately. He’s never felt like this before and he really doesn’t want to screw it up. Would eventually agree to share the bed but he would be stiff as a board the entire night. The slightest brush from you would make him stiffen and blush bright red. Eventually he’s able to relax and sleep but it takes a really long time.

Fūrin: Honestly Fūrin wouldn’t have any problem. They’re kind of oblivious to their own feelings and they enjoy platonic cuddling just fine. Would bury into you side, purring with delight. They can’t tell why their cheeks are so warm though. Or why their stomach is filled with butterflies. Hm. Must just be the heat. And they must have eaten something strange at dinner. That happens all the time.

???: They vehemently refuse to share the bed. Their budding feelings scare them. They don’t want to even acknowledge them, and they’re not anywhere near ready to be that close to you. They fear that feeling your warmth beside them will be the final straw and they won’t be able to stay away. They sit outside and keep watch instead.

And so, I've finished yet another Taiga Drama: Fūrin Kazan. - 6/10

Spoilers, obviously.

I fucking loved the music. This is a major thing to me, and it passed for me. Favorites: Theme, Ikiru, and the final song (I don't know its name).

I loved the fact that they acknowledge the people's name changes: Nagao Kagetora (Uesugi Masatora) & Takeda Harunobu (Takeda Shingen).

After seeing this, I gotta respect the fact that these writers likely had to make up an amount of historical inaccuracies, just to make a good story. Now I'm no Japanese Historian, and I don't know a lot about Kansuke, but I still feel like they added stuff to make it interesting; it worked.

I'm a bitch who screenshots shit they like, and boy did I like alot. Especially GACKT as Nagao Kagetora/Uesugi Masatora, whew that man is attractive.

On the topic of Kagetora/Masatora, why did he have boots? I thought it was funny that this beautiful man had boots while everyone else had waraji. Also, during the Odawara siege, I thought it very... immersion breaking? (Idk) When he sat before their gates and they missed hitting him as they fired arrows and bullets, but someone on YouTube said that he knew their range (and accuracy) and just sat outside of it, so I'll just believe it and move on.

It's not really big but I fucking laughed, THIS MAN (Kagetora)! Fucking threw a man off his horse and beat him, in front of everyone. Kagetora thought this guy was insulting him by not getting off his horse and did what I previously stated. Turns out that guy was showing respect the way his ancestors did. ...fuck. Haha. So that was funny. Learn the lesson people, if you're gonna rule over people, know their customs.

There was perhaps some overacting: revealing the Fūrin Kazan flag, I don't believe anyone would be that hyped. Okehazama, not the scene(s), but when they mention its name, not really acting, but just too much attention to it. I know how important it is, but still.

I saw the "romance" of Kansuke and Princess Yuu coming from miles away, they don't do anything together, but it's clear they do like each other... but I did like some of the things they did with this relationship, some of which nearly made me cry (promise to marry someone scene).

I Fucking LOVED when they included the clash between Takeda Shingen and Uesugi Masatora at Kawanakajima. This man, Masatora charged across the entire battlefield directly towards Shingen, who saw him, and did not move. Unmovable as the mountain, all he did was when Masatora got close and struck at him, he raised his gunbai and blocked the blows until his men chased Masatora off.

Legendary.

I called Heizo killing Kansuke, I was wrong and he (Heizo) was shot in the back with an arrow; he lived (maybe). Kansuke took so many blows to his body, I'd be surprised if his body didn't have a hole in his chest from the many gunshots to it. He died... not from the gunshots, spear stabs, and such, but from being beheaded.

Anyway, I felt like crying multiple times, music was wonderful, I loved the looks of Shingen & Masatora (definitely), I might be convinced to give this a 7, but currently it's a 6 and that's pretty good.

6/10 - Pretty Good.

Edit. This is now a 7/10, seeing as I recently find myself thinking about it alot.

So here I am: i profoundly loved The Mortal Price of Crossing Twice. I can see all the time you spent writing and reviewing it, because it's wonderfully built in the plot, so well written and it has just the perfect length. The idea of Levi, as you put it, "flirting with death" is perfect, so in character, it really feels like an extension of canon Levi's point of view and i am in awe. 

And gosh, your vocabulary is so neat, peculiar and rich! As English is not my native language, i love the fact that i learn so much by reading your pieces.

Thank you for being brave and sharing your fics with us, i do appreciate them a lot.

Ok mod's headcanons here we go ( nsfw included)

- they share a room. I know Genji has that little house in the village in the Nepal map, but he doesn't use it often. It's more of a place to just keep his things.

- the reason behind ^^^ is bc Genji is prone to horrific night terrors, and after making the trek up the mountain in the middle of the night once just to see Zenyatta and talk about it, Zen pretty much just told him he could stay in the monastery, since that hike isn't safe, especially at night or during a snow storm

- trans Genji

- their room is full of plush over sized pillows, and one G I A N T Pachimari they use like a beanbag chair

- when Genji was still in Blackwatch, he tried to find comfort in familiar things like sex (friends w benefits Blackwatch McGenji anyone?), but it only ended up making things a lot worse for himself

- Zenyatta was a medic during the crisis, which is why he has a more slight frame and fine tuned ability to sense pain and injury in others

- Zenyatta CAN NOT stop collecting plants. Their room is over run with vines and succulents and ceiling hangers. Each plant has a special name and Zenyatta can remember them all

- Genji used to think Zenyatta couldn't fight and was constantly putting himself in danger when he tried to talk to people instead of going on the defensive when he was assaulted. Zenyatta challenged Genji to a sparring match and proceeded to mercilessly kick his ass

- Genji w a praise kink (Zenyatta learned this by calling him a 'good boy' once during sex and Genji came immediately)

- they totally get off on that Master/Student thing, at least a little

- therapy sex(? I think there's an actual term for it but idk what it is. Basically Genji's in a meditative state while Zenyatta slowly and gently works him to an orgasm. This is usually saved for when Genji is struggling with his nature and needs to feel something purely and deeply human)

- Zenyatta is the one for pet names, despite Genji's past as a playboy (dearest, beloved, my dear, Sparrow, my love), but Genji will affectionately call him fūrin ("windchimes")

- Zenyatta is skilled as fuck at crane games

- Cat magnet Zenyatta (wild feral cats will just come right up to him when he's meditating. Genji has several pictures of Zenyatta deep in mantra, while several cats all sit next to him with 3 on his lap)

- Genji has unilateral deafness (deaf on one side)

- those little "ears" on his helmet are both auditory sensors and visual stabilizers. If they go out, Genji can't hear on one side, and he suffers from vertigo

- the children in the Nepal village think of him like a big brother. He was generally pretty unfriendly and cold when he started his journey, but the kids didn't deserve his anger so he made sure to stay friendly

- Genji didn't go to Zenyatta on his own. Genji's scaley green spirit noodle couldn't bare its master's suffering, so it sought out Zenyatta one night when Genji was in the throes of a night terror and couldn't wake up.

- Genji almost killed Zenyatta on their first meeting. With Genji as jumpy as someone who drank too much coffee before using a Whack-a-Mole machine, someone with no footsteps is the worst kind of person to have sneak up on you. One moment Zenyatta was simply asking this stranger in a snowstorm if they were okay, and the next he had a Wakizashi at his neck cables

Pokeball choices

NOLAN

Nolan has The Basic Man Aesthetic™. I can't imagine Nolan bothering about appearance beyond basic functionality, although he does find certain ball designs cool. However they are usually too pricey and he’s quite content with his arsenal of standard Pokeballs. 

His favourite ball designs include the Great Ball, Ultra Ball and Quick Ball. 

He doesn’t care much for seals because he can't be bothered to customise (TOO! MUCH!! EFFORT!!!) He has better things to do.

Princess, his Skitty, came in a special ball – the Premier Ball – when he got her from a specialised breeder. It has a pearly enamel-coated shell. Though he doesn’t care too much about aesthetics, he does care about exclusiveness and with the Premier Ball being a rare, limited edition, he’s happy to have his grubby hands all over it.

Nolan found a Quick Ball and has been saving it ever since for a special Pokemon to capture. However, Boog, who has been stalking following him for several long weeks now, captured himself with it. He chose the ball because he liked it. His self capture completely defeats the use of a Quick Ball, much to Nolan’s dismay.

Sabre  — Poké Ball

DAY

Day only got into the Pokeball craze after he got his first non-standard Pokeball – the Heal Ball. He didn't know Pokeballs could be different so he was pretty excited about the cosmetic changes. He cares about aesthetics.

Kirby (a Sylveon by then), was on board with changing Pokeballs because he wanted something special too. Vain trainer, vain Pokemon. xD Kirby didn’t want a plebeian ball. So into the newly acquired Heal Ball he went.

Ever since then, Day got into Pokeball collection and customisation. He would seek out special balls in local shops and online so he could find fitting balls to colour coordinate with his Pokemon. Sometimes he would find designs that he thought were very lovely but he had no need for. He would buy them anyway as a gift. He bought a Moon Ball for Jacob’s Lops but Jacob never used the ball.

Over the years, after much extensive searching and saving, he has gotten a Dive Ball for Mickey, a Love Ball for Pinkie, and a Premier Ball (artfully decorated with seals to resemble a Togepi’s shell) for Benny.

Like his other bestie, Ayla, he is a huge fan of seals. They both collect, share and trade and shop for them together, often getting them in a value pack and getting excited over it all. The seals were rarer in their region so they both had to put in a lot more effort to get their seals.

He used to be a little like Ayla who would plaster every inch of her Pokeball with seals (though not as much). He liked trying different combinations and was a big fan of the original Party, Star and Heart seals. His most treasured seal is the rare and exclusive Twinkle seal that releases a shimmering shower of prismatic sparkles upon release.

He and Ayla tried to enter their designs for customisable seal competitions but never won.

Kirby — Heal Ball (with a Twinkle seal)

Mickey — Dive Ball (with a Bubble seal)

Pinkie — Love Ball (with a Heart seal)

Benny — Premier Ball (decorated with seals to resemble a Togepi’s shell)

(*all his balls started out standard but he transferred them after obtaining new balls)

ZION

Instead of gachapon, in this AU, Zion collects Pokeballs (the literal capsules instead of the prize in them ahaha). His great-grandparents did so and he expanded on their collection.

He has one of each kind; special limited editions, rare antiques, collector exclusives, handcrafted treasures and even those no longer sold on the market. One or two date back at least a century and are no longer in production (courtesy of his great-grandparents). I bet he somehow has a Master Ball.

He displays them all in closet shelves in a special room, each with their own display cushion and case that he lovingly maintains every day. He has a strict look-but-don’t-touch policy. ...for himself. Apart from shining and polishing and dusting, that is. He doesn’t let anyone else know of them. They are incredibly valuable.

Of course he doesn’t use any of them. No, all his Pokemon are in standard Pokeballs (when he finally bothered to register them anyway).

Only Furin is in a special ball – a unique Luxury Ball – and that is because she was already in it when she was given to him after his great-grandparents (her owners) passed.

Don — Poké Ball

Aoi — Poké Ball

Naga — Poké Ball

Ueki — Poké Ball

Hagame — Poké Ball

Fūrin — Luxury Ball

WENDIE

You would think Wendie was someone who cared about the aesthetic appeal of her Pokeballs, but no. She thinks seals are tacky and the various ball designs to be gimmicky and gaudy (i.e. Luxury Ball). She prefers the sleeker, simpler and classier designs but wouldn’t necessarily go out of her way to obtain them.

For the most part, special Pokeballs are expensive and harder to come by and she’s much more into function than design. 

That said, it’s also why she caught Freya in an Ultra Ball (that she won as a prize).
