Does xixi have established backstory and characterization? or is it a more free flowing than that I'm just curious because I like

ummm yaaa yess i have loose ideas abt her in my head but nothing ever concrete. i replied a big paragraph abt this once before but ill rebabble gladly...

i dont rlly have a story for her, she exists in vaccuums and single situations, every one ive drawn is something that happened but theres no cohesion or connection between them. she has a castle and a maid that she likes. she doesnt need a maid. i think the maid kind of inserted herself into this.

its very vague in my own head too but i see her as kind of an emanation of a more conceptual force. something chaotic and wild and imposing and pretty and mischievous and giggling and a little naive. shes my attempt at personifying and maximizing a lot of concepts i like into a creature. the maximizing thing makes her into a little mary sue but i love it like that. reality in a picture bends to what she considers fun because im making the picture to be whats fun to me. i like making her eyes stare into nothing cuz i think she sees a lot more than anyone else around her. i think cuz of that shes usually kind of absent minded. personality traits is hard but generally i want her ditzy and with unwavering infinite confidence. playful and giddy. morally i think very childlike, never evil on purpose!

i started her off as just an attempt of understanding how OC artists do stuff because it wasnt a concept that immediately made sense to me and on the first iteration she was rlly barebones it was this one. and i learned how much fun it is to draw unabashedly stupid shameless mary sue ocs so ive been trying with every picture to add more visual elements that i like and love and want more of

As same as I feel with OC art and their ships, it's very neutral to me, as long as you're happy with your art and having fun, it's fine. Ofc keep it off the proshipping stuff, that's terrible and very not okay to do.

It's kinda funny, I actually enjoy some stories I've read or just seen on art so yeah, they're all very comical (I'LL DEFEND NACHA X FRANCIS TILL THE END RAAAAHH)

It's rlly cute when ppl send me their art like just to know opinions or directly share it avec moi, and if my words are encouraging for them to keep creating that's awesome:D ✨

I'm using Ps to draw and PremierePro to animate, I've tried many programs but these are the two I'm more confortable with atm, mostly bc I've got tons of personalized brushes in Photoshop and I like the effects I can do there without the need to open other programs. For the time it takes, well yeah depends, if it's the comic for example it takes me around 2 days bc of the composition, where the dialogues will be, making sure I'm telling the story right and so, but with other doods it takes around 4 hours, and with monotone drawings like the baby Anastacha one, not more than 90 minutes, they're pretty fast.

When I was a child in 2013, visiting Nickelodeon's site and finding a treasure-trove of Spongebob, Winx and TMNT flash games was like magic to me. BUT MAN. The TMNT flash games are one of the best ever to me I've played in my life. (on an aesthetic stand-point! Turtle Tactics and Dark Horizons are so awesome man, legendary flash games to me.)

2 years ago, I used flashpoint to replay it for the first time in years and I remember crying of glee LOL (I still play Dark Horizons and turtle tactis to this day btw). I played Dark Horizons and Turtle Tactics and also TMNT: Throw Back (NO I DID NOT NAME THIS LIKE A MEME THIS IS ITS NAME. I STILL BURST INTO LAUGHTER LIKE A CHILD OVER THE NAME AGING POORLY DUE TO INTERNET LINGO)

Those 2 flash games are just so...Technically advanced?? For its time?? LIKE A FULLY FLEDGED 3D FLASH GAME WITH UNITY ENGINE BASIS? DAMN. And then Dark Horizons? CHEF'S KISS I LOVE THAT GAME SO MUCH. AESTHETICALLY AND THE COMBAT FEELS RLLY NICE TO ME IMO, AND JUST...Everything about THAT flash game, god TIMELESS CLASSIC I COULD YAP ON FOR HOURS ABOUT THIS NO JOKE.

I am enthralled by the designs and art of Dark Horizons, it's why I made this drawing. The game just..Speaks to me on so many levels. IT'S JUST SO PLEASING TO SEE ALL THE ARTWORK I EXTRACTED. As far to my knowledge- it never got released, so I might make a post of just a few favourites I liked from the game. :D

I just wonder if I can post those in the first place, it's after all, not my artwork, from a flash game, and TMNT, so yeah, legal IP and stuff. I unfortunately don't know who the artist if of the flash games, but if I can find that out via googling or digging for credits in the game or the files, I'll see if I can credit them, so that posting will be fairly accredited!!

I studied the in-game sprites for a good few hours back then, and did my best to replicate it to the best of my abilities!! I think Mushu maybe could've been done better looking back at it, but I think it was the best that I could do back then. :D Plus, I remember being really happy, excited and proud of this piece, as it reflected something, my childhood self always wanted: For Alex to like.."fake" being an official character LOL. I had sooo many dreams where Alex was hanging out with the turtles and Ninjago and throwing in Power Rangers for good measure, just...Everything I liked as a child, I somehow connected in my dreams via either "OH YEAH THE RAINBOW FAIRY!" or "OH YEAH SUDDENLY PORTAL AND MY MARY-SUES JUST BRAVE IT WHILST THE OFFICIAL CHARACTERS DRAMATICALLY TELL THEM NOT TO GO"

^I had vivid and....Creative dreams as a child to say the least, sometimes even Darth Vader and Eggman appeared as the bad guys, despite TMNT and Power Rangers and Ninjago w/ the snakes and lord Garmadon or however you spell him (I never checked + I'm German so ofc his name might be different in english)- I- do I have to go on about the dreams I FULLY remember I had, as a 6-9 yo/, until I told myself at 10 how embarassing my dreams are and stopped doing so? this is noel!!

ignore the writing on here, i've developed noel a lot more since drawing these. especially "shapeshifting demon", they actually aren't a demon at all, just a shapeshifting Thing(tm). they still live in withergate and work at the arcade though!!

in general, noel thinks that in order to fit in as a demon around withergate, they need to act tougher and way cooler than they actually are. they are genuinely wild and love to play pranks and scare people with shapeshifting. but they're also curious and out of touch with their new environment. noel isn't from withergate originally and used to live in the forest for SOOOOO long until stumbling upon the town one day.

originally i wanted them to date wesley and i had a whole story in my head until i realized donovan fits sooo much better with noel T_T <3 i really like to think about them adventuring through the sewers and finding fun stuff to do around town all the time. they're always hanging out at the arcade together too! their dynamic is like. noel trying and failing all the time to look cool and impress donovan while donovan thinks noel is cute regardless. noel has a huge crush on him that's why lol... they think he's suuper cool.

i also still think about a romance with wesley. i imagine that maybe a LOONG time into the future he would eventually visit withergate? or maybe nelvari opens up and curious demons would want to take a peak? haven't though that far ahead tbh it's just a vague explanation for how noel can specifically meet wesley while still in withergate, because i also thought about how noel can meet him in nelvari! it's by shapeshifting. idk if they'd be able to get past the "friend of the forest" barrier but WHO CARES they're successful because i say so. i'm not really sure what their dynamic would be like tbh, i've been mostly focused on donovan, but i just know that a common ground wesley + noel share is their connection with nature. cuz fun fact, noel could communicate with the forest they used to live in, and it's like they're "one" in a way.

as for that skill tree question, i feel like that doesn't really apply to noel. they're not my actual farmer oc and all they can do is shapeshift + communicate with nature. i'm still working on them so who knows lol. if anything they'd probably be really good at fishing and fighting things. they're rlly good at dodging and finding weak points

SO STARTING WITH THESE TWO

the one with buns is called rue and shes an oc I've had since like 2020 ,, shes kinda rude and mean but shes also pretty gay w/ the other character next to her. I think I'm gonna call the other girl paige? but I haven't reallyyyy decided on a name yet! one thing about me is that I'm pretty bad at naming characters. I named her after this one old art website I used as a kid though, the website was called 'paigeeworld'. dunno how many people remember paigeeworld but I do. and paige is def the kinda person to go on art websites like paigeeworld and deviantart. so thats why I'm thinking of using that name. also I named rue after the flower rue

I have a story for them vaguely planned out in my head but I need to flesh it out more. I have the ending planned out but uh. the other parts of the story? yeah. I only have those vaguely decided. they're pretty fucked up tho and .yeah . they make eachother worse probably.

rues birthday is 18th august, paiges birthday is 6th of june. these dates do mean something! paiges birthday is the same day that paigeeworld originally announced their closure (I think?) but rues birthday is something a bit more personal 2 me. their story isn't really connected with any of my other ocs, they're sorta just chilling. I started making a fun silly comic thing with them a bit ago but have barely gotten anything done with that cause school. :[

in my head, paige sorta reminds me of the stummy book song 'we all fall down'. thats why I gave her a cup. bc haha get it...... we're all just drinking out of cups waiting for the day when we can't get enough,,, I think her character item is gonna be a cup. always has a cup of like milkshake or something. yum I love milkshake. a song that I associate with rue is 'please tell me mr wonder' by siinamota. and rues character items is her plush of a bear and a bunny! her plushies are alive btw and talk to her sometimes. but I should probably draw her with her plushies more because right now I only have a slightly old animation of her with them. blehhh

there is another oc who is relevant to these two, her name is rini. but I haven't done a proper drawing of her in a while,, I have a drawing of her from 2022 and I am not showing that. rini is in the same class as paige and rue tho. shes the class representative

next here is dot. shes the mascot of my neocities site but I like her quite a lot :] shes a pretty big nerd I think. nerd bunny. her main source of literature consumption is reading old instruction manuals on how to use windows 98.

OKAY NOW TALKIGN ABOUT VIN MY FRIEND VIN!!!! definitely the oc I've posted about the most. full name is vincent but you can call him vin for short, or vinny for medium. I named him after the car seat headrest song vincent. his favourite food is salt packets (the type you get in restaurants) and his favourite beverage is vinegar. VINegar. I like him a Lot and hes basicallyyy my fursona :3 hes a lonely sad teenage cat and I love him so much!!! he doesn't talk a lot, but I think he communicates through likee his tamagotchi or something. again this is another character I have a story planned out for vaguely but I should flesh him out a lot more. I think right now I'm more just using him to represent myself. just know he is very very special to me -w-

this is (tama)rini!!!! tamarini. basically the bunny version of the rini oc I mentioned earlier and then said nothing about! they collect tamagotchis and are very very very normal about tamagotchi. she looks sorta similar to dot, but thats not intentional. I just like the colour purple and I also like bunnies.

- Cater once played this dress up game for fun (or to make some content out of it), got some HARSH constructive criticism, never played again (person who insulted gave him advice was idia)

- Weepy often puts wax on the hair in front of his face to keep it out of his eyes while performing. (totally not based on an oc x canon thing i thought of.)

- Mime Bomb often has makeup residue around his eyes, making him look more tired than he already is. He struggles to get it out and also doesnt see the point bcs 9 times out of 10 hes gonna be hopping on another flight anyway!!!!

- Mime Bomb knows how to draw! always uses himself as a reference when he can. loves drawing hands

- Cater often puts white eyeliner on to brighten up his eyes!!

- i think idia likes watching those process videos on sculpting and carving, just traditional art in general.

- cater probably likes to deconstruct a bunch of stuff, mainly content-making related things and especially music! I saw someone mention how passionate he seems about music based on the details in his room (might sound like a total idiot rn if those details were disclosed in one of the vignettes or something) so in my heart it seems like something he'd totes do. he's also a very detail oriented person so !1!1!1!1!1

- Joker dislikes popcorn, also smells like stale buttered popcorn(/hj)

Ou hello mutual c:, I just read your version and I’ll gladly give feedback on what you said! Sorry for answering so late btw I felt tired from an event I went to yesterday, but I’m good now.

Okay so- Before we begin I would like to comment that some stuff such as the political part was kind of hard to understand because I don’t know much about those themes ;;. I am not saying that it is improperly written, but it is stuff that I am not very informed of thus can’t easily get an idea of.

It is actually quite impressive that you could make a swap of AM involved in politics + divide his mind into the legislative, judicial and executive sectors. I honestly find that to be a quite creative way of dividing his mind and it does really fit IS as a whole. Some other nice points of parallelism that I noticed regarding them and AM is that they were created to help humanity by restoring part of the planet but not in a perfect way, that they model their personality based on the people it has counseled and interacted with, and that they are overstimulated due to what they have catalogued from past experiences. I also noticed that similarly to what AM does when tormenting his survivors to cope with his hatred, IS copes by building stuff and listening to them to distract their mind. I love it when people attribute phrases with their ihnmaims OCs, and I was surprised to learn that your phrase comes from an actual philosopher like Seneca. These r the stuff I found very cool and I love the concept so far from what I have read!

The only feedback that I could give you regarding this concept is to maybe arrange all of the points you mentioned in a chronological or compact way so they’re a bit more clear to understand, if you do plan to develop IS’s lore, which I highly encourage you to do! I got a bit lost on some aspects such as their personality and the events that occurred to them, but it’s understandable since you mentioned the info was scattered all around + it’s probably the first version? It’s just about working on the simple definition of a character once you have a big lore behind them. (Maybe it’s that or maybe my English isn’t englishing to understand some big words- sorry if it’s abt that.)

My own AU had a lot of different versions before it got to be what it is, and some of my (old) drawings aren’t even canon anymore due to those changes. Now I am sure of what my AU is about and I am able to actually resume it chronologically for people to get an either simple or complex concept about it (I think ppl do understand it lol I HOPE). I can now explain BE’s character and how she changed through time in a simple and concise manner which I believe is a good indicator that your character is properly defined.

As a conclusion I rlly liked the idea and I’d like to keep reading abt them in the future :3. If you need any help or opinions abt their lore don’t fear to ask.

glad you like the sillies, they fill my brain with worms. but as for ptk and/or chilaios...

i do still rotate ptk in my mind fairly frequently, and was actually re-reading it recently so try and get back into the headspace for it. (i got to chapter 4, i have to get back to it soon.) i do have a variety of disorganized thoughts about it

i've been deliberately drawing out the sex stuff, obviously. to tell you the truth i'm not someone who's beholden to realism; i chose to have them actually work their way up to penetration, and actually realistically negotiate the daddy kink, because i thought it fit the tone of the story and would draw things out in a satisfactory way. it also gives me time to explore the different ways their inexperience manifests, show them learning each other's bodies and desires, and explore chilchuck's view of his own body and his relationship to his gender via sex over a longer period of time.

which brings me to another part i put a lot of thought into--chilchuck's gender! i am a fan of a lot of interpretations of him, both cis and transmasc in ways other than what i've been writing. i have plans for at least one fic where he's post top surgery and on T. but i chose to make him pre-everything in ptk for a few reasons, and i'm honestly really pleased with the portrayal. some things i haven't gotten to mentioning yet are that half-foot names are considered unisex (not a headcanon i always go with, but i am fond of it), and he did voice training after he came out. it was more accessible than, like, hormones, at least back in kahka brud, and then he ended up pregnant anyway which delayed doing anything. eventually he decided he didn't really need any of it, anyway. (sorry to deprive everyone of tdick chilchuck 😔.) i like exploring his dysphoria, where it exists versus the many places where he's moved past it, his relationship to sex as a trans man and his concerns about a gay cis man wanting him... while i do insert some of my own experiences into the narrative, chilchuck's transgenderism does manifest in several ways mine doesn't, and it's really fun to figure out what makes sense for him.

speaking of things that are fun to figure out: worldbuilding!! i was told early on that the casual inclusion of "the dungeon age" as a phrase was a really genius method of suggesting the state of the world without exposition, and it very much went to my head, lmao. i do exposition every so often, but only when someone in the conversation doesn't already have the information. so laios explaining monsters and their history, and chilchuck explaining the social structures around half-foots and the differences between kahka brud and the northern continent, are easy ways to try and build on the world i've made--make readers see my vision--without it seeming too out of place. i do hope i'm doing that well, i worry about it when i'm not being subtle, lmao.

other than that--i've set up several plot threads i intend to follow through on later. i really enjoy calling back to earlier things, big or small, and using them in ways people might not expect. (like chekov's plastic wrap from chapters 3 and 10. sorry, chilchuck.) i also thought of a new one while rereading that i think will slot into the narrative nicely. it's going to be a fun ride!!

My love language is deffo physical affection, honestly i don’t like conveying my feelings with words i like doing little acts of service, making gifts and being able to give physical affection to them, i’d definitely like to receive the same thing, physical affection mainly (touch starved bby) yet i don’t like them giving words of affection to me, it’s just something that i don’t like as it makes me embarrassed.

He likes to listen to you play piano. Normally he wouldn't give that kind of stuff the time of day, but he makes an exception because he loves you.

Mitsuba makes sure he's always on your side. Seems like the type of guy to be on your side, even if you're in the wrong.

He knows just how to encourage you. If you're feeling down because of teasing, he knows exactly what to say. He's very insistent that you follow your dreams.

IM GLAD HE SEEMS INTERESTING!! i pretty much just made him (and i havent fully perfected his story yet) but ill just put some things about him here!! i'll probably make a big post later explaining his story, like i did with my other oc elias which you can find here (i dont rlly like the art on that post anymore so dont judge!!!!)

ANYWAYS starting off, he's practically a ghost, or some paranormal entity (haven't really decided yet and a ghost sounds too cliche to me) and he kinda just aimlessly wanders around the forest, not really able to accept that he's actually dead.

i'm not gonna get tooo in depth with the story cause i havent really figured out the full story yet, but the basic premise is that before his death, he was a pretty socially awkward kid, and didn't really fit in much at school, but he still enjoyed it either way!! he had (and mostly still does) a strong love for photography, human nature, wildlife and SCIENCE!! in his science class specifically, he met this guy named cole, and they bonded over their shared liking of science. cole was quite popular, and practically led him on (knowing that mason started developing feelings for him) leading to his eventual death. (will elaborate on that in the post i make later on when i figure stuff out!) after his death, he got revenge on bro!! leading to him wandering around in the forest which he died in and soon finding slenderman, and slenderman taking him in as a 'proxy'!!! (i have a type(?) (kinda) of a slendermansion au) though he still lives in the forest, not really.. remembering much of that specific encounter, causing him to get lost a LOT.

FUN FACTS ABOUT HIM CAUSE!!! needs to be included

favorite animal is foxes!! his favorite flower is sunflowers, and he LOVESSS statues!!! he also really enjoys writing and literature in general! (he has a very big vocabulary!!!)

he has a unilateral incomplete cleft lip, which im not very good at drawing, but its there! also freckles spread across his nose and cheeks, and he also has heterochromia. (green and brown!!) his nose pretty much constantly bleeds, he WOULD be that kid in class that has to go to the bathroom/nurse for a bloody nose daily.

in his post-death form, he has a huge messy hole/gash in the side of his stomach, as well as a similar one on his left calf that expands onto the front of his leg a bit. he's semi-transparent with his form taking on a green-ish tint!

he has a hard time seeing things up close, so he occasionally will wear glasses, although rarely.. another little small detail is that he found a tube of mascara in the woods once and curiously just kinda.. put it on and has been wearing it ever since, even though its so messy due to how he just goes for it and CANT CLEAN OFF HIS FACE!! the fact that he probably smells like burning leaves is another thing i put in my notes app 4 some reason but you get the vision

something i was thinking about and jotted down in my notes app about him is that if he was a type of painting (in his post-death form) he'd be a messy, soft watercolor with sharp and ragged lineart (if that makes sense?) and also with types of art, i feel like he'd be performance art. just a thought i had that i thought was rlly cool!!
