So I'm watching this compilation video of dogs being sweetly protective of their owners whenever anybody even pretends to mess with them (even their romantic partners), and all I can think of is a Hangster AU where Hangman has Brisket, and Brisket is protective of Jake even against Bradley, and like doesn't even let him rouse him out of bed when he wants to sleep in...:P:P Like just picture this (barely) ten-pound dog going up against Bradley, who's muscular and a lumbering 6'1" like with absolutely no hesitance because THAT'S MY DAD <3

omg this is so funny. It actually would be really entertaining to throw into this idea I had today.....just big ole lumbering Bradley being barked at by 10 pounds of fur. I love it. Brisket and Bradley's little rivalry until Bradley finally gets his shit together and sticks around. And Brisket finally approves lmao

So lil headcanon

I kinda imagine that in life, Annabel did have a dog.

But one of those properly trained, proper and fluffy dogs.

Like, either a Samoyed, a American Eskimo or a

Alaskan Malamute dog.

One of the three, or all.

But they were properly trained and anytime, if she owned only one, it would sit next to her and not only protect her but as if it were a statue.

A good boy/girl!

But…the moment Lenore enters Annabel’s life and home..the moment Lenore is in the dogs view…

It goes from Proper. Fancy still dog to Happy tail wagging and tongue flying out as it buffs and runs into Lenore’s arms “Dads here! Dads here! Oh my goodness!”

It BOUNDS its way towards Lenore and Lenore just laughs and opens her arms to hug or catch the pupper.

Annabel is just all huffy because she never gets to see this side of the dogs and sees them as favoring Lenore but Lenore just sits with Annabel and the dogs follow and snuggle with both of them, as long as no one else is there.

looked at my allergy list n realized that i am less allergic to cats than dogs... might have to get a cat (cats are a class 4 while dogs are a class 6 which is the highest class apparently :-/)
