Cat: The food in my bowl… it’s half empty. Do you not love me anymore?

Cat Mom: It’s not half empty. It’s half full. You’re just being dramatic.

Cat: DRAMATIC?! Are you calling me…dramatic? Do you see me screaming? Rolling on the floor? Writing a memoir about my suffering?!

Cat Mom: Fluffy, I literally watched you do all of that yesterday because I wouldn’t give you a second dinner.

Cat: That wasn’t drama. That was art.

Cat Mom: Uh-huh. Anyway, you still have food. Eat that, and I’ll refill it later.

Cat: Eat… stale kibble? Are you trying to poison me? This isn’t five-star service! I demand a refund!

Cat Mom: Refund? You live rent-free. You sleep 18 hours a day. What exactly are you contributing here?

Cat: Excuse me, who is the one patrolling the house at 3 a.m. to keep the invisible monsters away? Who screams at the closet door to save you from the void? Huh?

Cat Mom: Oh, right. I forgot about your heroic work of knocking everything off the shelves. Truly, a protector.

Cat: You’re welcome. By the way, I found your headphones. They’re under the couch now.

Cat Mom: …How?

Cat: The void was calling, Mom. I answered.

Cat Mom: Why do I put up with you?

Cat: Because I’m adorable. And because I let you kiss my head that one time last week.

Cat Mom: One time? I kiss you every day.

Cat: And every time, I pretend I don’t like it. That’s called playing hard to get.

Cat Mom: Fluffy, you’re lucky you’re cute.

I'm making this post as we haven't gotten the help we need for the vet appointments. We have put aside all the extra money we have this month, but that only covers the necessary vaccines for the boys.

While the girl kittens haven't shown signs of going into heat, their mom still is and the boys are at the age that they might start with their mom.
