ON IT BOSS.

Okay SO the T4W (Time Doesn't Care For Waltzes/Time for Waltzes) AU STARTS 1000 years in the past, before Narinder got chained down. Both Narinder and Shamura start getting split-up prophetic visions. While Shamura gets dreams about The Lamb, Narinder learns about the betrayal(s). In the middle of it all, Leshy checks on Narinder during one of his less than stellar lucid dream sessions without knowing what's up and in the end, it's just Leshy, the youngest, that gets the worst for wear. It changes things in the long term. Or maybe it's just the start.

I love the dynamic of a dog and sheep because of the whole dog herding sheep and stuff

Also Narinder could have been a Cerberus!!!!!!! That would have been so cool!!!!!!! And he could have worn one of those spiked collars that protect dogs from wolves

Me trying to piece together the new update so it matches with my AU-

With their injuries finally scarring over, they all decide to have a brand new start. Shamura being the first to fully apologize for what they did to Narinder, the others all share their own together. In this AU, Leshy clearly had no idea what was going on- he took the chain because he was scared of Narinder. So I think Narinder and Leshy had a harder time trying to rekindle their relationship. There was barely any to begin with, so they’re almost like strangers.

Kallamar can only hear out of one ear, Heket can speak but talking too much hurts, Shamura’s head is clear but they still have moments of relapse- not as severe, Leshy can sometimes see out of the bloomed camellia, and Narinder uses blades to replace his lost claws. :) The injuries will always hurt- but at least they can get through it together.

i want the crowns to exist in some way (in this au the 'cults' are represented as the bishops influence over the specific area of Olden Faith Ave) + love it when theres magic going on sooo ive had a few ideas

i think the bishops 'god' status would be represented by something On their person (for nari; she has a pin on her vest that looks like the red crown! and has a giant tattoo on her back as well <3), and also theyre just straight up immortal/way stronger than a regular person

stuff like the mini bosses perhaps have a small accessory of sorts on them that is kinda like a statement of "more trusted/has more power", and definitely stronger than the average person (the witnesses would be even stronger) (hierarchy would be like. bishops > witnesses > mini bosses > lackeys)

these little accessories are also kinda like a 'bind' of sorts? kinda like saying to everyone that "this one has MY power and represents me", im also having way more fun and just saying that its kinda like the bishops are sharing a small bit of power directly from their 'crown'/'godlihood' (i'll find a better way to describe it eventually LMAO)

for Nari + Ines; she gave them a pretty big portion of that power in the form of a ring, did NOT tell them what it was for until they realised "holy shit, this thing can turn into a weapon. and i am Way stronger. what." and then later turned it into an earring because it being a ring flustered them way too much

Nari did this because Ines is the only person she has to deal with her siblings (still doesnt trust Jahel to not betray them lol), and so hes trying to give them a Massive fighting chance here.

"but what about Jahel?" well, they also have some of this power. wonder how they got that though 👀.....

My Lamb’s original name was Seph and they’re based on Shetland sheep! They/them pronouns primarily but they’ll accept any :3

Did what I said I was gonna and drew more of my favs! This time mostly featuring Narinder(s) (and Carillonneur) since I kinda focused on lambs last time! (Just a note, I love everyone's designs for multiple characters, all the folks who I've drawn for have wonderful character design and writing all around) Again I will say this, go check them all out, they're all doing their own neat things! Hiii, so, first of all, I LOVE your art, you're incredible and you're character design is just so GOOD aaaahhhhhh*insert more screaming*

Now, I wanted to ask about all that Narinder been gone for 10 years thing, what was Lamb's reaction when he came back??? It has been rooting my head, like were they angry, happy, messy soup of feelings? Are you going to include it in some minicomic?

There was certainly a concoction of anger, relief, spite, and definitely longing, haha!

managed to finish another decent ish piece so here's narinder's inutial design!! as always probably will change later

we're living by furry laws in this house so "head fur" aka hair is an option and im using it. period. another unpopular(??) choice is giving narinder a fur pattern, and don't get me wrong i love the pure black void nari, but as an artist i enjoy making up details to draw, so i indulged myself here. (but if i ever were to draw comics with him i would simplify it or just make him all-black, because repeating this every frame is a misery. fun for a one-off ref sheet tho)

not a lot of lore stuff for the guy since the idea of the au is still fresh and im figuring it all out, but there're design inspirations under the cut if you're interested!!

sooo lets go

i wanted narinder to have that dramatic sharp featured og cartoon villain look, so i took inspiration from oriental longhairs for the facial structure and from maine coons for fluffy dramatics. also i just love using maine coons as cat references. look at those things. marvellous.

from the very start (pretty much) my brain was consistently giving me images of narinder with hair, specifically dark long-ish straight-ish, so i tried to walk this mental image backwards to find the origins of it, and i think scar and ozai are my best bets. in my first sketches narinder had shoulder length hair with slight waves, but in the end i opted for long and straight. not really a reason to, just was vibing better to me

clothes are pretty standard narinder robes i think. i find it funny that fandom unanimously gave him basically a priest outfit, and i like it too, so i kept it. that red stripe gave me a little bit of a headache though, couldn't get it to look okay and not weird or tacky. i think i managed. i had to contain my urge to design him an intricate outfit with different textiles and embroidery and shit, but i try to keep it at least somewhat tied to logic and the au, and let's say that no-one was willing to do something this elaborate for narinder for quite some time

• narinder is declawed (after his defeat that is).

see the narinder's claw relic and the whole do no evil motive. the most evil narinder directly did was the injures he inflicted on his siblings, and he did it by, quoting shamura, "such sharp claws". so yeah, that tracks. funfact i considered taking only one of his claws, from the left ring finger, because the relic is "narinder's claw" singular, but "callamar's ear" relic is also one ear and not two, so it didn't feel kike a good enough basis to take only one claw yk. so sorry big cat, all your claws are now gone

• lamb did kill narinder after defeating him. there's nothing on the pic that's tied to that fact, just thought it would be interesting to know
