it should be noted that my ghouls refer to the other ghouls as brothers and sisters, similar to the siblings of sin. while they aren't family ( aside from the few ) i believe that sense of familiarity does comfort the ones who have never been on our plane of existence. while family is a rather foreign concept for ghouls, the older ones have observed the ways of humans and found that many have a sense of family with each other.

moss won't refer to most ghouls as brother or sister aside from the earth ghouls ( he calls them his dirt kin ), bloodhound refuses to acknowledge anyone other than kaison as family, and opera refers to all ghouls as her family.

Summary: Strange, supernatural occurrences have been happening around the Reader’s new home. Little does she know, a certain dead guy has taken a liking to her.

First it was some handprints on the mirror in your bathroom. Not really something out of ordinary. Choosing not to think much of it and going on with things. You had more important things to worry about than questioning who had put their grimy hands on your mirror.

But when things started going missing around the house, you grew concerned. Noting how one of your favorite pairs of panties had disappeared from the drawer. Catching the lingering smell of your expensive perfume and how the bottle somehow was disappearing at a rapid pace. Yet there was no sign of forced entry anywhere.

“It’s just kinda weirding me out,” you scanned around your bedroom as you were on the phone with your mom.

“Maybe it’s just one of your friends playing a prank on you,” she attempting to soothe you from the other end of the line.

“I don’t think any of my friends who think something like this is funny,” you sighed sitting down on your bed. Lying back and covering your face with your arms. Frustrated by the strange and unusual things happening around your home.

“Well it is a possibility,” she snipped at you.

“Or this place is haunted and the ghost wants me out,” you snickered.

“Oh don’t be ridiculous. You’ve been watching too much TV,” you could hear her eye roll through the phone.

And maybe you had. You did love that show with that ghost-hunter who would discuss ghosts in homes of families. True crime being another favorite of yours. And you did live alone so it was easy for things to get to your head. Still too afraid to go into the upstairs of your new place. But you could not deny that you believed in the paranormal. There was no doubt in your mind.

“Just try and relax, honey,” your mom said as you ended the phone call. Throwing your legs over the bed when you noticed a flyer flipped over on the floor. Curiosity taking over as you picked it up. The picture of a man with long scraggly hair in a robe on a heart-shaped bed plastered on the front. Hearts and depictions of Cupid accenting the text.

“Bio exorcist?… Looking for a— love connection???” You were completely confused. Noticing how it urged you to call, but there was no phone number written on it. Just an oddly spelled name.

“Betelgeuse…?”

There was a breeze blown through your room. Shocking your senses and causing you to rush up off your bed. Noticing how your bedroom window had blown open. Forcing it closed against the strangely strong wind. Remembering how it had not been windy all day.

Hands planting firmly on your hips as you turned around and scanned your entire room. “What the fuck is going on!” You proclaimed frustrated by everything happening around you. Deciding to go watch some TV in the living room in an attempt to cool down. Clicking on the newest episode of your favorite show.

“Today I want to talk to you about unwanted guests in your home,” the woman on the screen stared heavily into the camera. You laughed.

“Sometimes, ghosts and ghouls will take a liking to the living. And when that happens, they will often try and reach out to you. Wanting to become a welcome guest in your home. Normally, they’re satisfied when they catch your attention with some simpler tactics. Leaving footprints or handprints on your things—“ You sat up suddenly more interested in what she had to say. “Maybe rearranging your stuff or taking something they noticed you use often. But when that does not work, they will begin taking more direct measures. Leaving stuff from their world for you. Causing strange small surges of weather or sounds. Depending on the level of dead you’re dealing with, they may even start speaking to you.”

You furrowed your brows. Everything she had said completely applied to you. Almost as if it was written for you. You quickly clicked the TV off, sitting forward with your hands against your legs. Your mother’s words rang in your mind. You’ve been watching too much TV. This was supposed to calm you down but it sent your mind into a spiral.

Storming off to your room and locking the door behind you. Breathing heavily as you leaned against the back. Hand gripping your chest as your breath heaved. Closing your eyes and cupping your mouth. Sliding down into the floor.

The paper flew across the floor. Sliding directly beside you. Eyes locked on the old flyer. Feeling like there was another pair of eyes in the room with you. “I don’t understand what you want from me,” you sighed leaning your head against the door.

“I just wanna get to know you, babes,” a voice sounded like it was right against your ear. Scratchy and rough. You whipped your head around seeing if somehow, there was someone beside you. There was no one. A chuckle filled your room. You looked around, not seeing a remnant of a person.

“Did you break in?” Your voice cracked as you scanned for something to defend yourself with.

“Nah. I’ve been here longer than you have, sweetheart,” that same voice came from under your bed now. Crawling over and looking under it. There was nothing. That same chuckle from before. “Nice try looking, but you aren’t gonna find me,” he laughed at you. You stood up. Hands running down your face, falling forward onto your bed. Sighing loudly as you stared at yourself in the mirror across from your bed. Loosing all caring you had for the situation at hand.

“Seems like I’m losing ya here,” that voice grumbled above you, “And as much as I do love the view, I need a little more than that.”

The mirror began to fog up. You pushed yourself up getting closer to the glass. A finger began writing something on the mirror.

“Betelgeuse…” you read out loud as the words continued to appear.

“Betelgeuse… Betelgeuse.”

“OH-HO-HO! Now that’s what I’m talking about!” The mirror began cracking, a bright green light shining through. Shielding your face as the glass hit the floor and your entire room illuminated with the green flash. Opening your eyes again to see a man in a striped black and white suit standing in front of you. Skin pale, greenish-blonde hair falling down to his shoulders, teeth discolored. Your jaw hung open in shock.

“Oh my God,” you got out.

“I knew you’d come around, doll! Been waiting for you to say that sweet, sweet name of mine!”

I wanted to post this yesterday, but I had a medical problem that has thankfully cleared now. Anyway, my ask box has always been open (no anon tho). BUT, I want to hear anyone and everyone's questions.

I just wanted to say your posts single-handedly made me like Sho and I made a new account with him as my starter.

I'm still not through with ch2 on my first account (why are the battles so hard I only have 2 SRs to help me and rainbow apples are so limited T-T) so at that point I'd only seen Sho ignore mc and remember getting a short campus event where he literally goes "Oh it's just you, what do you want" or something along those lines so I thought he'd be just as bad as Leo lol. And ngl his design wasn't one of my favorites? But I'm the type who quickly grows on whoever I decide to like so now I love him and his silly bandana and the fact he literally wheels around with Bonnie in fights lol.

I'm especially curious about the Like Dove thing and how it works, initially I thought it was a conscious decision to send (like how Kaito assumed the gossiping girls sent it over for him/Luca) but I sincerely doubt anyone in Vagastrom was popular enough to get one (just bc they're scary) so why did it show up in front of mc and Sho when they barely had talked at that point??? Did he already like her or is it more like a "koi no yokan" thing?? I'm so curious about it. Does it show up in ch3 too? I don't see much mention of it.

Anyways, thank you for your Sho drabbles I love reading them sm!! Honestly I wish someone would upload the whole story somewhere so I can play the game at my own pace bc rn I'm just ITCHING to dump resources and try to get ahead (unsuccessfully)

I also thought Sho was going to be just as bad as Leo and didn't like his design. The more he actually talked to MC and just in general the more that changed. He's not that bad of a guy at the end of the day, just loyal to a fault. I even like his little bandanna now, it's cute.

From the way Kaito describes the like dove I personally took it to mean that it was attracted to strong positive feelings towards someone. It can't exactly be sent somewhere because it is a sentient anomalous and independent animal. There are a few explanations for how the writers determine when it shows up, so I'll just work through my thoughts here.

The boring answer: stealing this one from someone on reddit, but the Like Dove shows up when MC starts making progress on getting close to the ghouls in the dorm. It shows up in Chapter 21 of Book 2 because Leo uses MC's enhancement and Sho feels sorry for her. I don't like this answer as much because it does not exactly explain why the Like Dove does not show up until the end of Book 3, as at least 2/3 of Jabberwock's ghouls like her pretty much from the start.

Still boring but slightly more fun answer: the like dove shows up when MC starts to have or accepts having positive feelings towards the ghouls around her. It appears in Chapter 21 and at the end of Book 3 because MC feels like she's really starting to help their dorms. This does not exactly work with Kaito's explanation that the dove comes to you when someone has positive feelings towards you.

"Yuri is doing lines of cope again" crack answer: I think describing it as a "koi no yokan" type thing probably makes the most sense. Kaito certainly seems to think of it as indicating romantic feelings, but he's a bit of a hopeless romantic so I'll take him with a pinch of salt. The Dove in Book 2 specifically appears after 1) Sho sees Leo and MC sitting on the couch together and asks if they're a thing and 2) MC asks about Sho's cooking. I don't think Sho ever really thought negatively of MC, he doesn't seem to have thought much about her at all. He describes Luca and MC as "normies" who he doesn't think Leo should waste time on, so no real hatred just indifference. Indifference that changes to reluctant fondness that same night when Leo forces him to stay behind by lying and MC compliments his cooking. So yeah, it shows up when someone has a sense that they could have strong positive feelings towards her. You could also say that it came due to the positive feelings Leo had about the ring helping him spy on Tohma and Alan, but I prefer to think it was from Sho. Because fuck Leo.

As you might have gathered the dove does show up again in Book 3, I forget the exact chapter but it's around when Haru promises to help MC with her curse. It's also the only dove that has showed up with all members of a house present, which is one of the reasons I like Jabberwock so much, best house fr fr. I will keep my eye out for it in Book 4 and keep you all updated, if you like my anon friend I'll try to make a summary post of the story so you can know what's going on while you try to convince the game to let you through. I am rooting for you!

Ya know what...it's December and I'm feeling generous so here's my gift to you all. Have one of my favorite moments so far of We Counted the Stars, a Phantom/Reader slowburn I've been working on for the past few months. I have about 4 more chapters to write before I start posting it so keep an eye out :3

He points and you follow his hand “That’s Delphinus. That one’s Orion. That’s Canis Major. That’s Cassiopeia.” 

“Aether taught you all that?”

“Yeah! And lots more, but you can’t see them all” he pouts a little. 

You smile, turning back to look at him “They’re beautiful Phantom.” 

He turns to look at you “I knew I had to show you. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to thank you for so long.” 

“Thank me?” 

“Yeah…you helped bring me Topside, you took care of me, and I dunno you’ve just been really nice.” 

He smiles 

“Swiss told me humans like really big grand gestures. Did I do it right?” 

“Phantom I” you place your hand on top of his “This is really nice. You didn’t have to do this for me.” 

“Course I did! I like you and you’re supposed to do nice things for the people you like, I know that much at least.” 

“I appreciate it…a lot actually.” 

The way he looks at you makes your stomach swoop. His eyes flick down for a moment, so small you would’ve missed it if you hadn’t been staring. He tentatively leans closer. 

Am I going to let this happen?

|12 Days of Drabbles|Day 4: High Voltage|

{Cleo De Nile X Frankie Stein}

{Plot; Cleo comforts Frankie inside a closet.}

{A/N - I love monster high sm and i think the fact that this pairing is canon in g3 is awesome, i still think deuce and cleo are cool tho, so why not put my PHD in monster high lore to use <3}

Cleo eyed the black Victorian-style closet; it seemed to loom over her even though it was just still in its place. ‘For Frankie,’ she tried to repeat in her mind, but it didn't do anything to ease her fear of the dark, and what if the closet locked in on them, and then she couldn't get out?. Cleo grimaced, and she turned to the half-werewolf she knew as Clawdeen. “I’ll talk to them… But could you push me in?” she asked, even if she felt her ego take a small hit. Clawdeen smiled. “I’ve got your back, not in a literal way, but—you know,” Clawdeen opened it, pushed Cleo in without warning, and shut it again, which made it all faster for Cleo to face.

Frankie lit up the dark like two green and blue-colored lightbulbs, wanting to see who had joined them. They kept their eyes lit when they saw Cleo. “Oh, hey…” Frankie sniffled and wiped away some of her tears. “Hi…” Cleo said shortly after. “Do you want to talk?” Cleo asked as she sat beside Frankie, a few moments passing by before they answered, “I hurt him… I hurt Deuce,” they said, the light from their eyes growing low with each blink. The light was much appreciated by the mummy. Cleo’s eyebrows raised at that, but she knew it wasn’t on purpose. “What happened?” she asked. Frankie’s shocks were common to get, but it was never too severe; it was even like a small sting of static they naturally had inside them. It couldn’t have been nothing if Frankie was this guilty.  Frankie accepted a stray bandage from Cleo she offered to them, blowing their nose before speaking again.

“I was talking to him, just a normal conversation…  Then when I was talking about someone else, my whole body felt so charged with excitement: I let it all out on Deuce before he even touched me.” Frankie pulled their knees to their chest and slumped her chin onto them, new tears falling. “I’m a terrible friend.”. If Frankie hadn’t said it, Cleo might’ve started to suspect them of having a crush on Deuce; it would explain why they were so guilty about it. “No, you’re not; you’re one of the best ghouls in the school!. The teachers love you, the guys respect you, and I and the ghouls all adore you. I doubt any of us would be friends if you weren’t here, because you’re just what us and this school need.” Cleo could talk forever about Frankie's importance, about any ghoul’s for that matter, but she felt something stronger when it came to Frankie. Frankie started to smile. “Thanks… I didn’t think you thought about me like that.” They kind of thought that everyone was being nice to them since she wasn’t created too long ago, and in half-truth some would, and hearing how much they mattered made Frankie’s bolts glow slightly.

Cleo rested her head on Frankie’s shoulder, and their electricity culminated in Cleo being zapped a little, “Ow—” “I’m so sorry, Cleo!”  Frankie gasped, and they shifted away from Cleo.  The shock that Cleo felt was definitely stronger than normal... It made her curious. “What were you talking about that has you overly voltaic?” Her tone was a tad sly when she asked. Frankie stammered through their words like a glitch in their brain before whispering out, “You…”. Cleo was floored by their answer; she hadn’t taken into consideration that Frankie could be so electrified by thinking of someone: they didn’t usually have such strong feelings for their previous crushes either. “Oh… Why didn’t you tell me sooner, Frankie?.” “I didn’t want things to become awkward between us... And I didn’t want to hurt you if we ever kissed.” Frankie often worried about the safety of others; hell, it’s why they’re so eager to protect the school; it’s their home.

“Well, for one, things won’t be awkward between us, and as for the latter… You won’t know unless you try. Cleo herself had some experience with kissing, and it didn’t feel like such a big deal after her first, but knowing that a little bit of Frankie’s electricity would pass to her was something to think about. Frankie’s eyes lifted up to Cleo, the green and blue light from them shining on the mummy faintly, “You’d really kiss me?, even if you got hurt by me??” They were so worried about their voltage right now. Deuce had to go to the school infirmary after all; they might as well walk around the school with a bright yellow ‘High Voltage’ sign now. Cleo took one of their hands with hers when she pressed herself against Frankie. “I’ll kiss you until it doesn’t.”.

The moment Cleo pressed her lips to Frankie’s, her hands finding their cheeks, was like cold skin under hot water on her lips; she knew she’d get more used to their lips the more they touched. Frankie’s electricity could’ve single-handedly brought Cleo back to life if she hadn’t been mummified, but even then it echoed like thunder and a heartbeat as they kissed each other.  Being in the dark, Cleo was still able to keep calm because, no matter what, Frankie’s high voltage didn’t make them any less deserving of being kissed.

okay. first all that's left ost question. pls explain the song in what we leave behind 👀

another one thought/question is that i was thinking abt it while making breakfast and i think all that's left would be v interesting as a video game that's divided into episodes. like whatever remedy's doing with alan wake.

anyway i am soooooooo in love with all that's left btw. i'm not even into zombie stuff but this one is soooooo cool. :]

HEHE THANK YOU SM <3 i love zombie media entirely too much i was obsessed with it when i was younger to the point i had entirely too many dreams about the zombie apocalypse. which is where half my zombie story ideas originated from including parts of the story for all that's left LMAO

so in "what we leave behind" the song playing is everyone dies by parsonsfield which is a song that i've always heavily associated with the story for some reason?? specifically because in an alternative ending i came up with, all the main characters did end up dying in very like. regular human ways to die in a zombie apocalypse in a way to show to the readers that, well, everyone does still die in the end despite how beautiful a journey or story can be etc etc and so on, and to show that there IS an end to all this but the main characters' good deeds end when they die, not when the story is over if that makes sense. they keep on being good even after the story is done. but i ended up kind of scrapping that because i preferred a more open ending that leaves room for own interpretation of what happens between like, the end of the story + when the main characters die. but the song has always stayed in my heart

which is why i added it to that chapter specifically! in "what we leave behind" the different players in the story (it's season two so that's three separate parties whose story you've been following the whole time) have all found themselves in predicaments scattered across los angeles; one group has been separated after a devastating breach in one of the districts, another group has been hunted down in the wasteland around the city, and the third group has been chased out of the city for their smuggling crimes (helping people out of los angeles into the wasteland to find a safe community to live in)

it's a chapter in which all hope seems lost which i think fits with the song in a way. there is very much the threat here that people are going to die, but it's part of how life goes, and i think the upbeat sound of the song contrasts the heaviness of the chapter very well which is something that i keep doing with this story because it creates an almost nostalgic feeling (for me personally, idk if it comes across well)?? as if you as the reader are very much aware that the story has already been told and there's nothing that can be changed about it anymore, and the soundtrack is reminiscing on what happened back then :]

and ooohh i never really thought about that tbh!! i think it could work as a video game but it would be a VERY cinematic game and i personally am not a big fan of that because i do like having things to do and especially with all the different perspectives and whatnot it would be very hard to keep track of the story while also trying to put down an interesting game if that makes sense SHGFDJGHDFGKD i did games & interaction in art school so this is like. the game designer in me talking LMAO

i do think some chapters would work VERY well as video game though, especially ones where a lot of stealth is needed or the more combat focused scenes. for example there's one scene in which they're trying to manage a huge horde of ghouls and like, lead them away from a settlement to then gun them down somewhere, i feel like that would be super cool to see in a video game >:^) but there's also a lot of scenes in which there's just a lot of talking and connecting to other characters going on which would be very boring to sit through i think :(

i've always visualized all that's left as a tv show and it would probably work best as that i think, because there's just so many characters and so many stories to tell that weave into one another very intricately. the visuals of the story would also just work best as a tv show because the way i'm imagining it is like a very vibrant tv show, bright colors and almost like, retro-y vibes?? basically the kind of vibes i put in those playlist edits, it contrasts the heaviness of the story very well + goes well together with the soundtrack!!

on top of all that (sorry i'm Going now) a tv show would give the story enough time to build up correctly, a movie would be entirely too short for that. with actual episodes and actual filler episodes focused more on exposition of the world and character conversations and a bit less action to give everyone including the viewer some breathing space, the story can actually be set up correctly and get people interested in the bigger picture of the universe i think :] it would have about 4 seasons of roughly 20 episodes per season, maybe the first season (book 1) would be a bit shorter on account of just following one group, but especially the next seasons (book 2-4 and Maybe 5 depending on how well i execute book 4) would just need more episodes because you're following around three groups in all those seasons. or at Least three. i can't remember my own lore. there's a lot going on just trust me

1 - hmmm this was hard to narrow down so i'll talk abt a specific scene that's been on my mind. okay ig honestly the detention center is Always on my mind because it's the first time we get a really good look at megumi's character and what he values. but mostly i was thinking abt the part where megumi takes the name tag from the guy he was so adamant about not saving for his mom. i don't think he changed his mind, but to me, it just shows how much he cares about his friends. like i think when he originally took it, it was so he could give it to yuuji so he could give it to the guy's mom, but then when he thought yuuji was dead, he delivered it as a way to pay respect dkfgjhd idk current top megumi moment

2 - nowadays when i rewatch it im team near & mello actually🤞 and pretty anti-light, but i think the first time i watched it, i was so wrapped up in the back & forth between light & l that i probably did root for both this was like 10 years ago tho so i dont remember fs 😭

3 - ooh i think like. in terms of writing fanfic its like when i was a kid & played w dolls like it gives me the same type of feeling, but also i've always been the type to use imagination as escapism, so being able to bring the things in my head "to life" is really satisfying as well

4 - kfgdjdkg theres so many im like always listening to something different. recently i started listening to this artist called juliet ivy, her songs are all super relatable and have a rlly whimsical sound too. another artist i'll always promote is dream, ivory, i've been a fan for a while. i've also been into deftones recently. generally im more the type to listen to random songs rather than specific artists

Some people deal with their issues in all sorts of ways; Ethan decided to deal with it by razing his hometown to the ground <3 Having his father be burned instead of crucified like the Legion normally would to not give him the satisfaction of dying like jesus is understandable given what an awful person Richard Warren was, but joining the Legion and staying for years is a bad move maybe 🤔

Merethel Lavellan — Dragon Age: Inquisition

This was tough between Merethel and Ophelia but I think he’s someone who’s got a quiet compassion to him. The role of inquisitor does chafe on him a lot with him being more comfortable behind the scenes and being with people one on one as a healer. But I think people tend to underestimate how intelligent he is at first with his gentle nature, because he definitely learns how to play the “game” of politics in his own right by the time of Trespasser (even if he is very eager to get rid of the Inquisitor title).

A few weeks after her eighteenth birthday, their families had crossed paths on a long stretch of road in Indiana, hunting a ghoul, and it was all she could think about as she stared at Sam, watching as he cleaned his gun sat at the motel table. The way his shoulders shifted beneath his shirt, stronger than the skinny little boy she’d met years back. Her eyes shamelessly locked onto his forearms, exposed by his rolled up sleeves — she watched as tendons rippled beneath tanned skin as he moved, how his fingers danced over what he was holding, veins peeking out along his arm.

There were many days where she forgot that they weren’t kids anymore. That Sam wasn’t the same little boy she’d hidden behind her mother’s legs from, the giggly teenager who had tasted like popsicles when she’d kissed him for the first time. Sat the table, cleaning his father’s gun, knuckles red and cracked from their hunt the night before, he was a man. A soldier.

I thought I had replied to you, but here we are. With this reply, I take the opportunity to spoil you that the new chapter will be out by tomorrow morning (in a maximum of 12 hours, to be clear), and that in two days at most a one-shot inspired by the movie will be out, but no spoilers, so in case you get bored, I hope to fill your days a bit.

That said: it made me laugh that you had predicted it because that chapter was written months ago, and on one hand, every time I write a silly chapter, I say "okay, today we're going light," but on the other hand, it all makes sense. Simply put, in the previous chapters, Dew talked about Rain's imprinting, how Rain had become attached to him, became very protective towards him, and gradually managed to make him completely settle in. What Rain is now doing is imprinting with Phantom (and if you reread the first chapters, it also makes sense). Before the quintessence incident, Rain was the one Phantom bonded with, and when after the incident Rain bonded with the reader, Phantom was consequently excluded, obviously not intentionally. Similarly, the second attempt at imprinting is happening with a human, so instead of behaving like a demon or a cat or whatever, it's more human-like behavior.

After watching the movie, I know that Kevin is really a dork, so I'm glad I included that silly scene, same for the ghouls insulting each other.

As for the designs, I'm still trying to find the style that works best, but I'm working on it because I really adore the ghouls, I can't not draw them.

12. What’s a quest that everyone hates, but you like?

While I don't think anyone outright hates Come Fly With Me so much as they just find it tedious to do over and over again (and believe me, I Get It), I genuinely do enjoy going through it. Even though I can easily skip over Novac altogether let alone this one quest, I tend to do it when I can anyway because I like the tension that comes with sneaking around in cramped, dark corridors full of invisible guys that can easily kick my ass if I'm not careful. I also like disarming all the traps in the room Hadrian's in. Honestly it feels like a quest that caters to my overly-cautious stealth play style on top of being one of the most interesting side quests in the whole game.

13. Which companion quest did you enjoy the most?

I think it's a tie between Old School Ghoul and I Could Make You Care. I may be biased because Raul and Veronica are my two favourite companions, but imo they're also two of the most well-written companions with equally well-written quests.

While Old School Ghoul physically amounts to dragging Raul around while talking to some old guys, it also acts as a vehicle for him to tell his own stories (which I can listen to all day) and brings up the subject of... well, aging. Of growing up and growing old and changing as your body changes, while remaining who you are despite that. Raul was only around 30 when ghoulification hit, and is basically a young man 200 years older than he should be, and his body began to deteriorate while still in his prime. Despite this, he's tried to make himself Useful TM as both a handyman and a protector, facing the worst of the age of raiders and living long enough to remember it all. When he fails to protect someone, he seems to give in to his perceived uselessness in 'old age', giving up his guns altogether and settling for simply finding purpose in repairing things. It's only when he sees a few older men still doing what they can that he considers not relegating himself to a quiet life, though he still needs the courier to tell him that it's something to admire and that these guys aren't useless or should live a certain way just because they aren't physically the same as they've always been. You can convince Raul to take up his guns again to become a protector during and after the events of FNV, just as he had 200 years ago, and he does a damn good job of it despite his cataracts.

Meanwhile, I Could Make You Care starts with Veronica seeing just how well the rest of the wasteland is doing, from the Followers to the Boomers to even the Fiends (at least in how much trouble they give the NCR compared to the BoS). Exploring the outside world forces her to come to the conclusion that the Brotherhood, her family, is slowly dying because they refuse to change their ways even slightly to become self-sufficient. You have the opportunity to help her find something that will make the Elder wake up, from farming technology to an advanced weapon, but even with evidence the Brotherhood refuses to change. While you can technically convince Veronica to remain, I think it only narratively makes sense for her to leave, whether she ends up joining the Followers or not. She's seen how everyone else has adapted and continues to, and how the quick the Brotherhood is to turn their back on her the moment she challenges their dogma. Even if you can't relate to her on a personal level here, her quest is a powerful conclusion to the Brotherhood's role in Fallout as a whole (by which I mean fo1 and fnv) and serves to symbolize how fast humanity has grown in the last 200 years since the world ended. This quest is so fucking good it makes me wonder why all I ever seem to see from the fandom about Veronica is how much she likes dresses. Sure, it's a cute fun trait and we love her for it, but you'd think that's her main quest instead with how much people sleep on this one.

My name is Charlotte, I identify as a woman (she/her), I'm bi with a preference for men but every once in a while my brain just goes into woman overdrive.

Who do I like? Why, you gonna try an set me up or smth? Anywho, my favourite papa is probably Nihil specifically in the MOAC and KTGG mv only because I absolutely adore the 60s and 70s (best decades for fashion change my mind). For humans my favourite is probably seestor (a bit basic, I know) because damn. My favourite ghoul would 100% Mountain because oh boy do I love drummers.

I look like your worst nightmare. Jk. I've got brown eyes that are constantly surrounded with the shittiest "grunge" eyeshadow you'll ever see, waist length brown hair with a lil bit of blonde highlights and SLUT STRANDS!! (shorter hair in the front). I'm around 5'8 and definitely on the thinner side, but not unhealthy (I eat like a bodybuilder). My style is kinda all over the place. For example, today I'm wearing my favourite tiny black and white pleated skirt with a GIANT band shirt and docs, but tomorrow I could be wearing hippie pants and a teeny tiny crop top. To summarise my fashion, either a new band shirt every day with 2 different tiny skirts, hippie pants and a tiny crop top or low rise pants with a tiny crop top. As for shoes, it's either docs or my beat up converse. I've got my first and second lobes pierced as well as my naval, tan-ish skin depending on the time of year and a lil bit of acne.

Now time for who I am as a person. I'm either gonna be super degrading or sound like a dickhead but ANYWAYS MOVVING ONNNNN. I'm pretty extroverted and sometimes loud but I can also get quiet and distracted very quickly (thanks ADHD and autism!). I love love LOVE parties and drinking and also loud concerts in the pit. I can never like something a normal amount, it has to be my ENTIRE personality lol. I'm somehow both a girls girl and also one of those "name 5 songs" mfs when I someone in a band shirt (I ONLY ASK MEN THO COS IT'S FUNNY). I squeal at my favourite things like a stereotypical fangirl and I talk to my parents like they're my friends. I'm the most CLUMBSY MOTHERFUCKER YOU WILL EVER MEET AND MY LOW ASS IRON DOESN'T HELP WITH THE BRUISING. I don't think I'm dumb considering I'm a writer with the grades to back me up on that but I definitely struggle in school because I miss so much of it (thanks seasonal depression, you go girl!). But I'm optimistic for the future.

HOBBIES TIME MY FAVOURITE!! I'm a HUUUUGE musician. I've been playing piano since I was 2 (started actual lessons when i was like 7 tho), cello since I was 12, guitar since I was 14 and bass since I was 15. I've also been singing for as long as I can remember and as of right now I'm in a metal band with my friends on vocals and bass. I also dance on the side for the fitness (guess who can tap dance!) and I LOVE reading and writing fanfiction. I've also spent over $500 on FUCKING CDS because I'm so normal about my interests! /s

I know this is probably super long already but if you wanna read some random facts abt me then here:

-I got a good ol' case of endometriosis

-I either cry never or all the time

Your match is...Young Papa Nihil

He notices how clumsy you can be. He tries to look after you and stop you bumping into things or tripping. He’ll lightly kiss anywhere you are hurt. There have also been some interesting attempts at first aid. He isn’t really sure what to do so he just kinda panics and gets you to sit down.

He is really good however at calming you down if you've had a bad day. He'll run a bath for you (candles, bubble bath the works), play guitar for you, or just sit and chat with you while he holds you close.

He loves loud parties, drinking and going in the pit at concerts. Any excuse to party and he is there. He is a lot of fun to go out with! He can make the best cocktails with Bacardi, anything you want, he'll make it for you.

Doesn't matter you can;t handle that many drinks. He'd never ever force or expect you to drink a lot, all he cares about is that you are having a good time. If you do accidently have a little too much he's happy to carry you home at the end of the night. He can sober himself up to do that as he knows you are clumsy and a drunk clumsy you... bad idea in his mind, he'll carry you.

He adores that you can tap dance. He can’t do tap but he is an exceptionally good dancer with very good hip movement ;)

He loves reading your writing and he is very supportive of it.

He is impressed at your musical abilities and you often jam together. He normally picks to play saxophone with you.

He loves to listen to you sing and he will just melt if you sing his songs to him.
