[ @sasuhinabigflash2020 || Day Twenty-One: A Dark and Stormy Night ] [ Uchiha Sasuke, Hyūga Hinata, Uchiha Fugaku, Uchiha Shisui ] [ SasuHina ] [ Verse: Catch ‘Em All ] [ AO3 Link ]
[ Previous ] [ Next ]
It is, without any exaggeration, a dark and stormy night.
Sitting in the Pokémon center, Sasuke watches the rain pelt against the windows, the silhouettes of Fuchsia’s buildings blackened out every time a strike of lightning flashes. The rumble of thunder follows every fork.
So much for his visit back home being a smooth one.
He considered just heading straight for the house, but something convinced him otherwise. Maybe something about the weather just...feels like it would make arriving home a bit much right now. He’d rather handle the rush of his mother’s smothering and the interrogation by his father over his journey’s most recent leg during a calmer morning.
As he always does when resting for the night, he’s let his team out to stretch and sleep outside their pokéballs. The six of them are circled around his table...save for Jolteon, who’s currently curled up on his lap, ears flickering every time lightning strikes. The center is currently empty beyond himself and the nurses.
At least, it was.
With a mechanical hum, the automatic doors then slide open. For a moment, the storm seeps in with all its violence, rain and wind hurling through until the entryway closes.
Sasuke blinks at the sight of his father, brother, and cousin.
“Nurse!” Fugaku calls, already striding through the building as he seemingly ignores anyone else.
“Yes?”
“I need you to prepare for an influx of trainers.”
“O-of course! Is something wrong?”
“This storm came up at just the wrong time,” the gym leader growls. “A tour group is currently trapped in the Safari Zone. The staff are working on getting them back, but the lightning is making it dangerous. As soon as we get them out, they’ll be coming here for shelter.”
“Understood! We’ll be ready! And our Pikachu are prepared in case the power goes down, so don’t worry about that, Fugaku-sama!”
Nodding curtly, the man turns and finally notices his younger son. “...Sasuke?”
He just nods.
Shisui and Itachi both perk up in surprise.
“When did you get in?”
“Half an hour ago or so. Thought I’d wait out the weather and stop by in the morning. But it seems you guys need some help.”
Expression grave, his father nods. “Indeed. I take it you heard the news?”
“Enough of it.” Nudging his partner, Sasuke stands as Jolteon hops to the tiled floor and stretches. “We can help ground some of the lightning for the search party.”
“Excellent. I’ll let you head out, then - Itachi and Shisui are heading the effort. Follow their lead.”
Giving another nod, Sasuke orders the rest of his team to stay inside before running after the other Uchiha. “How’d the group end up in the park in this weather?”
“It came up fast from the sea!” Shisui calls back in reply. “By the time we knew what was happening, they were too far out in the park to make it back on their own. They’re currently in a small building out in the park itself, but the power’s out and there’s worries it’s not safe. The sooner we get them back into town, the better.”
Soon they reach the park’s entrance, a few staff in the building looking tense. Excused through as officers, the trio head out into the park proper.
“Do we know where they are?”
“Golbat came back with a message, they’re in the northeast quadrant. Once we get there, I’ve got a few pokémon that can help carry anyone that needs it. Otherwise, we’re relying on you and Jolteon to keep any lightning from hitting us.”
“Got it.”
With that, they head out along the main trail, veering northeast as Shisui leads them. Jolteon, ears swiveling, watches keenly for strikes. And the rain keeps falling, soaking them all to the bone within minutes.
“This way!”
Ahead of them, gesturing to be followed as her Rapidash rears, one of the park’s head rangers appears out of the din.
“Is everyone gathered up?”
“Yes, all are accounted for. Now we just need to get them -!”
“Jol!” Leaping into the air, Jolteon meets a lightning strike with an attack of their own, warding off the electricity.
“No time to lose!” Shisui then insists, following as they make the final stretch to the shack in the park’s corner.
Inside, a crowd of a dozen or so people huddle together, a few fire types providing light in the blackout. They turn as the door opens.
“Everyone! We’re evacuating the park - please follow us in a quick but orderly fashion. Anyone with electric types are encouraged to release them from their pokéballs and help keep lightning from the group. We’re heading to the Pokémon center so you’ll all have a warm, dry place to sleep tonight. Just keep calm, and we’ll be all right!”
The park ranger takes the lead, her Rapidash’s mane and tail a bright beacon, even through the rain. Shisui and Itachi flank either side, with Sasuke and Jolteon at the rear. The tourists stick closely together in the middle.
Of course none of them have any electric types, so it’s up to Sasuke and his partner to keep the group safe. The little Jolteon is clearly nervous at the prospect of failure and someone getting hurt.
“It’s gonna be fine,” Sasuke tries to reassure them.
“Are you o-okay?”
Glancing over, Sasuke spies one of the park’s guests, concern in her eyes. “Yeah. They’re just a little spooked. Never had to do this before.”
“Are you one of the Uchiha officers?”
“Not officially,” he replies vaguely. “Long story. But I’m here to help.”
“Thank you. Sadly me and my water types are a bit useless in all this.”
“It’s fine. Just focus on keeping up and getting out of here.”
As the group hurries on, Jolteon intercepts several strikes, redirecting them back to the clouds. And after several long, agonizing minutes...they make it back to the main building. Waiting for them is Fugaku with a small team of the Pokémon center’s Pikachu to help with the lightning.
“This way, everyone! We’re almost there!”
“Senpai!”
The park head turns as another ranger approaches, out of breath. “What’s wrong?”
“T-there’s a fire started along the west side of the park! The rain’s letting up and not enough to put out the flames!”
As one, the Uchiha glance to each other hesitantly - none of them have -?
“I have water types!”
The trainer from before steps forward, hand raised. “I can help!”
“As do I, there’s no need for you to put yourself in harm’s way,” the park head replies.
“The more pokémon we have, the less we’ll lose!” the other ranger insists. “Senpai, the park has been dry until now with the lack of rain. It might be slowed a bit from the earlier downpour, but it’s still dry enough to burn.”
Scowling, she turns to Sasuke. “Can you accompany us?”
“Yes ma’am.”
“...then let’s do this.”
The group splits - most heading out toward the center as the smaller portion heads back out to cut off the fire. Lightning still flies - if anything, it seems to intensify as the rain begins to pass.
“Of all the rotten luck,” the lead ranger mutters. “I’ll work on a burn line with Rapidash along the north side and head off what flames I can with my water types. You stay here in the south and work on this end!”
“But what about the lightning?” Sasuke calls as she heads off.
“We can handle it!”
...well all right then.
A scant minute later, they find the pluming smoke, a small wall of flames slowly spreading east.
“You sure you’ve got this?” Sasuke calls.
“Yes! Just focus on the lightning!” the trainer calls back, unleashing a team of Golduck, Dewgong, Seaking, and Lapras. At once, they all start targeting the fire with water attacks, loud hissing sounding with clouds of steam.
And Jolteon quickly goes to work rerouting the storm. Any strikes that loom too close are sent flying another direction with a jolt of their own.
Bit by bit, they extinguish the flames, and the charred remnants are all that’s left. The further north they move, the thinner it gets...until they meet back up with the head ranger. At her disposal is a Dragonair, Kingdra, and Gyrados.
“Excellent work!” she calls. “Seems it’s all out - we can head back, now! Thank you both for your efforts. I’ll see about getting you reimbursed.”
“No need,” Sasuke replies. “Just glad to help.”
“M-me too,” his companion agrees.
“Well, all right then. Can I have your names?”
“Uchiha Sasuke.”
“Hyūga Hinata.”
“Well, thank you both, Uchiha-san, Hyūga-san. Now, let’s get you back to the center and dried off.”
Packed with the stranded trainers, the Pokémon center is bustling as Sasuke returns to his team, who greet him excitedly after his absence. “We’re fine, we’re fine,” he assures them. “Just a little foul weather.” Still, he accepts a warm blanket and a hot meal from one of the nurses with a nod.
“So, this is your team?”
Glancing up, he spies Hinata similarly outfitted. “Mhm.”
“You must be quite the trainer.” She takes a seat on the opposite side of his table.
“Been at it since I was pretty young. Lots of time and effort, but it’s worth it. Your team was pretty impressive out there. Battling isn’t the only thing pokémon can do, after all.”
She blushes, head ducking shyly. “...true. I was happy to help. The park does a lot for conservation. Seeing it burn would have been h-horrible.”
“Mm…”
“Are you...staying here tonight?”
“I am. Heading home in the morning - my family lives here in Fuchsia.”
“Oh! I’m from Cerulean, myself. Wanted to visit the park and the beach. Hopefully the latter goes s-smoothly compared to the park.”
That earns a snort. “I doubt much can be worse than today. Glad everyone made it out safely.”
“And a lot of that is thanks to you.”
“Anyone could have done what we did.”
“True...but it was you this time.” Hinata smiles at him. “...hey, um...do you have Pokégear?”
“Yeah. Why?”
“I just thought…” She fiddles slightly. “...maybe I could register you on mine?”
Sasuke blinks. “...sure.”
The pair exchange numbers before the nurses call for lights out in five minutes. Hinata glances over before giving a sheepish smile. “Well, I...guess I better get some sleep.”
“Yeah, me too.”
“If I don’t see you before you leave, I’ll just...say goodbye now. And thank you again for your help.”
Rather than a verbal reply, Sasuke just gives a nod and watches her retreat to an offered bedroll.
Well...it wasn’t how he planned his trip home to go. But at least it hasn’t been boring, right?
Random piece is...very random, and a bit rushed, but I think it turned out all right! I do love me some pokémon verse. This isn’t the childhood friends version I had in the yearlong challenge - they’re strangers in this one. But it was neat to try a new angle in a previously-used verse. Anyway, not...much else to say about it? I’m wiped and didn’t get as much done as I wanted today, so...time to just call it a night and try again tomorrow xD So I’ll see you guys then - thanks for reading!

Somebody to love; Brian May x reader
*Author’s note*
Now this isn’t really a part 2 to Soulmates through music fic but I couldn’t help myself and write a little fluffy piece for this oneshot. Now I’ve already written pt.3 and I just need to do pt.2 hopefully before my schedule gets too crazy with all the research papers I’m going to be doing till May. So again this is just a cute little side shot for pt.1 of a three part oneshot that I had in mind for our loveable astrophysicist because I will tell you guys right now, the next part will be pretty angsty so enjoy the fluff while you can.
Now I’ve changed up some stuff in regards to who wrote what, and since Somebody to Love has been my all time #1 fav. Queen song, I thought about reader-chan writing the song for the purpose of this fic so please NO HATE. Freddie will ALWAYS BE the genius for writing this song. Enjoy my darlings :) don’t forget to reblog and comment.

*Nov. 11th, 1976*
I was just digging through some of my old boxes my mum had brought over to our place. There were photos that either belonged up on the mantel or never deserved to see the light of day and I have no idea why my mother would think Brian should ever see these photos. Just because we’ve been married for 4 months now, doesn’t mean he has to see everything about me.
That’s when I came across a medium sized shoebox that was labeled.
SONG BOX
Oh my god, I had not seen this thing since I was a teenager. I opened it up for shits and giggles and took out every piece of paper that was in that box. Soon the table was practically covered with old songs that I had written growing up.
I picked up one song that I had written at 15 that I for whatever reason I titled, “Swag King”. I cringed as I set it aside and unfolded another one that was called, “”. How I ever got by these song titles I’ll never know. I smiled widely and softly laughed remember how each song was made to about the time I could start song writing at like 13-14 years old.
“What’s got you so happy?” my smile got wider as I felt the familiar arms of my husband Brian wrap around my 6 month baby bump.
Oh did I forget to mention that part. Well apparently Brian and I had gotten so drunk during the after party of the tour that we ended up having unprotected sex and the next thing I knew as I was trying to find me a wedding dress with Veronica, Mary and my mum, I raced to the bathroom and started puking my guts out. Shortly after going to the doctors, it turned out that I was about 8 weeks pregnant.
God I was soo terrified to tell Brian, I mean yeah we’d agreed to have a wedding right after the tour but we weren’t ready to raise a child just yet.
Queen was bigger and more famous than we had ever been, gaining more fans worldwide, albums selling out as soon as they hit the market and songs going straight to #1 on the charts. A child into the mix at this height of fame just wouldn’t be right for us, or our baby.
But bless him when he had found out, he held me that day as I wept hysterically and told me that he still wanted the baby and that no matter what we were gonna be fully supportive of our baby, and he was going to try and be the greatest dad he could be and he told me I’d be the greatest mum to our baby girl. Of course that soon started a debate between us scientists until it finally turned into a bet on what the gender would be.
When it came time for the gender reveal that we wanted to know at the appointment, it turned out that Brian was right so once our baby girl is old enough for camp, we’ll be sending her off the space camp as per request of Dr. Brian May. While if we had had a boy, then we as a family once he was old enough would travel to Africa and go on one of those safaris that I’ve always wanted to go on.
But whatever the gender and no matter the bet, I’m happy that we’re gonna have a baby girl. I’ve always imagined Brian being this overprotective father to his little girls, embarrassing them to no end, but also being the shoulder to cry if they needed it. I know he’s gonna be a great dad to our little princess when she comes out.
“Just looking through some stuff my mum brought over.”
“What kind of stuff?” he asked as he began to softly kiss up and down my neck.
“Just some old photos, home movies she’d thought we’d need to watch and….my box of old song lyrics.” He stopped kissing my neck and said.
“Really, may I have a look?”
“Absolutely not. Just because you are my husband doesn’t give you the right to snooping through my stuff that I’ve kept hidden during my teenage phase.”
“Ohh come now love, I’m sure they aren’t that bad.” He then reached out for the “Swag King” on and read it. I bowed my head into my hands as he said, “I was wrong, this is terrible.”
“Brian!”
“I’m joking! It’s not that bad. I mean ‘Call him the Swag, because he don’t make me gag’. It’s good.”
“You don’t have to lie to me I know that song’s horrible.” I pouted as I sat down on the chair.
“No, no darling I think it’s cute. What’s this one here?” He then reached out for another piece of paper and unfolded it as he placed his head against mine kissing it. “Lovin Elvis?”
“I was 13 when I wrote that give me a break. I was extremely hormonal and you know how much I loved the King. All my friends were crazy about him.”
“Maybe I can have the lads look over this one. Maybe even have it put on the “A day at the races” album.”
“You even take one of these papers and show it to them I swear to god Brian Harold May you will never know what happened to your red special.” That got him to shut up as he put the song away and sat down.
For the next several minutes we went through every song I ever wrote from the time I was a young teenage girl, to about the time Smile was beginning to form.
“Hey (y/n),”
“Hmm?”
“When did you write this one?” Brian said as he flipped the page over revealing the lyrics.
“Is there not a date at the top?”
“No I’m not seeing one.”
“Here hand it over.” He gave me the song and I looked at it to see it titled; “Somebody to love”. I searched for the date and like Brian said I couldn’t find one until it hit me, “Oh wait now I know why. I never dated my songs until after they were complete. But I know this wasn’t written over 10 years ago, in fact I think I wrote this for Smile. Maybe even as Tim was forming Smile back when it was just the two of us.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, but when I ran it by him he told me the concept wasn’t ‘Rock and Roll’ enough. To gospel he said.” He looked over the paper once more and looked at me before taking my hand and suddenly leading me towards the piano we kept in our living room. “Whoa, whoa Bri not so hard you do realize I’m six months pregnant with your child, anymore stress like that and I could burst and we’d have a child on our floor.”
“Sorry love, but I was wondering if you’d play the song for me?”
“Right now?”
“No in the next 10 years, of course now.”
“But Bri it’s not finished, I always hated singing incomplete songs, especially when left in the dust for so long.”
“Just please try, for me my love? For our baby girl? You know she loves it when her mummy sings to her.” He said as he lowered himself down to the ground and wrapped his arms around my bump and leaned his head against it, being sure to look up at me with those puppy blue eyes of his.
“Dick move using our daughter for your personal gain May.” I chuckled.
“But it works every time, don’t it?” I smiled and shook my head at him and agreed to it. I opened the lid to the piano keys and had the sheet music in front of my on the stand and looked at it carefully. I warmed up by playing a few chords and key changes before I dived right into the song.
By the time of the third word, my voice slightly cracked as I said.
“Oh Jesus I forgot how high I wanted that note to be.” And as I sung the last note as low as my voice could go, that’s when the piano playing began to pick up. Like greeting a long lost friend, there was this connection and passion I had back when I had first written this song as my voice grew with a more passionate crescendo as I kept singing the song.
By the time I finished the chorus, I stopped playing and panted heavily. I turned to Brian and he was just in awe at me.
“Well…..what did you think?”
“I think—we just found our literal Queen’s next big hit.” He leaned forward and captured my lips with his as we began to make out right there by the piano.
The next morning arriving at the studio, I had the song in my hand and I was nervously fiddling with it.
“I don’t know Brian what if the guys don’t like it?”
“Then they’d be bloody insane. I mean we were forced to put Roger’s car song on the last album and this song as at least three times as better than that song. They’ll love it darling, just like I did.” He said as he placed his hands on my arms rubbing them comfortingly. I sighed deeply and said.
“Okay I’m sorry. Guess pregnancy heightens my insecurities.”
“It’s going to all work out love, come on before Roger throws another coffee machine for us being late.” He wrapped an arm around me and we both entered the studio.
“About time you two showed up, thought you two would’ve been shagging or something.” Roger teased.
“I’m already pregnant with one child there Rog I don’t suddenly need another seed sprouting this late in the game.” I pointed at him.
“(Y/n) my darling, I swear you just keep getting more radiant with each passing day.” Freddie said as he came up and kissed both my cheeks.
“Oh stop it Fred, you jest.”
“I jest you not darling. The sun can’t compare to the shining light that stands before me.” He praised as he swung my hands back and forth.
“Lads, (y/n) actually has a future song ready for us.” Brian made the announcement.
“Really?” asked Deacy.
“Yeah I….well my mum brought in a bunch of old boxes from my family home and one of them happened to be my old song lyrics box. Filled with all the songs I’ve tried to write since I was 13 and Brian came across this song. It’s not finished and probably needs a lot of work but he says it’s Queen’s next hit. I don’t see it though.”
“Oh don’t be hard on yourself darling. Come now play it for us and show us what you’ve got and then we’ll see where to go from there.” Freddie said as he gestured me toward the piano. He helped me sit down and I thanked him as I set the song on the piano stand and turned toward the boys who were all staring intently at me.
Brian nodded to me and gestured for me to breathe. I took a deep breath and proceeded to play the song for them, just as I had done for Brian last night. Once I was done singing, Deacy, Roger and Freddie were all in deep thought and they all silently looked at each other.
“Well there’s something definitely wrong with your beginning statement before introducing us to this song. And that’s the fact that you don’t think this could be a Queen hit.” Roger stated.
“You’re serious.”
“As serious as he can get, yes it will need a bit of workshop but this song….I’m already hearing the bass for this song in my head right now.” Deacy said.
“Alright my dears, let’s get to work.” And it was then we immediately got to work on recording, ‘Somebody to love’.
“Okay so what I’ve got in mind is that this whole verse here is great, but it’s out of place. I think it should go somewhere after the bridge maybe even the third chorus.” Suggested Freddie.
“Okay I can see that, but then what would the second verse be?” I asked.
“How about this?” suggested Deacy as he held out a piece of paper. I took the paper and saw.
“‘I work hard ((s)he work hard) every day of my life. I work till I ache my bones.’ Yeah I love it Deacy, but why did you put the he/she part in there?”
“Depends on whose singing this song of course.”
“Oh there’s no doubt, (y/n) will sing it. Won’t you darling?”
“Oh no, no, no, no Fred I—”
“Nonsense darling, this is something you clearly wanted to see come to life and I couldn’t sing it with as much passion as you give it. Well I could but I don’t want to.”
“Fred I don’t know, it’s rare when the fans allow a song to be sung by other than you. I mean you are the lead singer after all, they get all credits to singing.”
“Unlike most bands darling we share equal rights to songs. I didn’t reject Brian to taking the main leads to ‘39, hell I suggested you two take lead vocals for the chorus of that song. And I sure as hell wasn’t going to touch Roger’s sexual car song.”
“It’s a metaphor Fred!!”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night dear.” He said as he turned to Roger before turning back to me and placing a hand on my shoulder, “The point is darling, take this as your time to shine as the actual queen of Queen. Do it for us, for my future goddaughter.”
“Did you teach him that?” I said as I turned to Brian who only shrugged but he had that guilty look on his face. I sighed deeply and said.
“Okay, but you guys have to stop guilting me like that. I mean it, you all are just too cute for your own good when you guilt trip me by using my unborn child as an excuse.” Freddie cheered and planted a kiss on my cheek and so it was official that I would be the lead singer for this song.
The song took a few days to record ever instrument and every playback so that our voices sounded like a choir of 100 singers. I had to practice which vocalization techniques I wanted on the repeated phrase of “fine me somebody to love”. I ended up trying over 10 until I was finally proud with one of them.
*May 18th, 1977, Houston, Texas*
It was like any other concert, not quite as stressful as a tour where you’re managed like crazy in order to keep a schedule and then move onto the next city, here we were just performing for a couple of days. I had just gotten done with maternity leave about a month ago after giving birth to my daughter, Chloe Franklin May.
And Brian was over the moon the second he got to hold his daughter in his arms. The boys were so happy for us and they fawned over their niece and spoiled her rotten, mostly Freddie of course. I had Chloe back home with my mum while I had to get back to the boys but I knew this concert was going to be broadcasted so I hope they were watching the telly back home.
We had just gotten done with playing Bohemian Rhapsody when Freddie spoke into the microphone.
“Thank you. Featuring (Y/n) May at the piano.” The spotlight shined on me and I waved to the audience who cheered, “We’ve missed her dearly since her maternity leave, but we’re glad to have her back. Right now we’d like to play a song written by (Y/n) when she was still a single gal, probably dedicated it to a certain man who’d soon become her husband.” I flipped Fred off and he chuckled at me, “It’s currently rising at the tops of the singles charts thanks to you. And featuring on lead vocals herself the true queen of Queen. Here’s (Y/n) May with her song ‘Somebody to love’.”
I played a chord of the piano and I began to sing the song. I first started off softly much like the record and then the boys backed me up on the low note for the word ‘love’. I picked up on the piano as Fred came and sat down beside me joining me until it became a brief double piano duet.
But then Freddie allowed me to take his mic stand as I now stood up and sung the first verse as I walked to center stage. The spotlight shining on me as I finally reached center stage, just a few feet away from Brian as the boys joined in behind me. By the time the second verse kicked in, my voice grew with passion as I allowed my throat to give some of the notes that sudden growl that I did on the record that no one not even the boys saw coming when we recorded it.
By the end of the 2nd chorus, I was so into the song, that my body suddenly lost control as I was lost in the rhythm of the song. I even undid my bun and allowed my long hair to fly outwards which got some cheers from the crowd and I threw my scrunchy toward the audience as I sung with more passion.
Finally Brian’s guitar solo came up. He came right up to me, serenading me with his guitar which never failed to send shivers up my spine. Much like how a male emperor penguin who serenades his future mate with his love song.
I smiled at Brian and the two of us touched our foreheads together as he kept playing his solo and I vocalized into the microphone before resuming the next chorus before the bridge that originally was the second verse that I had written.
The boys and I put all of our passion and heart into playing and singing the song and then once the repetition part of ‘find me somebody to love’ came on, I led the audience into clapping to the rhythm of Roger’s drumming and said.
“I want to see every single person in this room, see every single pair of hands. Three! Four!” We then began singing the mantra and I could hear the audience singing along as I began my vocalization while the boys sang the mantra. Letting my voice both slide or slowly crescendo then decrescendo as I adlibbed some speaking lines and then once the last part of the mantra began I was already belting out an “ahh” vocalization.
Suddenly I felt Brian’s arms around me and as I turned his face was right up close to mine. As I softly crescendo my last solo I wrapped my arm around Brian’s neck and as I sang the decrescendo vocalization of the word “love”, Brian slowly dipped me and I leaned my head backwards, feeling his nose softly graze my neck.
When he pulled me back up, our lips met and Roger and Fred took over the last few lines as Brian and I swayed softly in each other’s arms. Our foreheads leaning against each other’s and once the song had ended, the entire stadium roared with applause. Suddenly I was snapped out of my trance realizing that we were performing a concert.
I hid my face into Brian’s shoulder but he took me out of his embrace and held my hand upward and gestured to me and the audience seemed to cheer louder, chanting my name.
I couldn’t help the wide smile that spread across my face as I took in the fact that a song that was once criticized by my brother as too gospel, was now Queen’s next big hit among its fans.
After our performances in Houston we were now back home in London. Brian and I cuddled up in bed just shortly after putting Chloe in her crib by singing her to sleep since she enjoyed both her parent’s singing to her. My head resting on Brian’s bare chest as his hand stroked through my hair.
“You know what I had realized, about when I wrote Somebody to love? Well it was more like after I stopped writing it.”
“What?”
“The next day, that’s when Tim had introduced you as Smile’s new guitar player.”
“The day we first met.” He muttered. I nodded and raised my head up and placed it against my palm as I stared up at Brian.
“Guess that song was magical even with its incompleteness.” Brian smiled and stroked my cheek as he said.
“Glad I found it among those other songs. I love you (Y/n) May, you are my somebody to love.”
“And you are mine, Brian May.” I leaned down and captured his lips with mine and we both kissed each other softly but with so much love until finally we cuddled close to each other and went to sleep.

Colour Me In (Part 5)
Eliza gasped as a blue butterfly landed on her nose and giggled when she looked over at Calum. He had a yellow butterfly in his dark curls and his mouth was hanging open, eyes wide as he fed several others from his hand. He'd brought her to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
They'd started in the butterfly jungle and Eliza swooned at Calum trying to be extra careful with the tiny delicate creatures.
Next was the aviary where Eliza stared at the birds the zoo keeper brought out one by one following along with the script on Calum's phone. He seemed a little more skittish around the birds as they were brought up close, but he tried to play it off. She marveled at the colors, and judging by the way Calum flinched when it opened its beak she guessed it was very loud.
Calum bought behind the scenes tickets so they learned about kangaroos for about an hour, even holding and feeding a baby roo. The park employees teased Calum about being a natural, being from Australia and all. Eliza noticed the side glances cast her way, some girls nodding at her and smiling in appreciation of the man she was on a date with. Other females shot her looks of pure envy and venom, but Eliza ignored them, she was too happy to care what anyone thought.
They grabbed a quick snack before Calum took her on a caravan safari through the Asian and African savannah. Calum had preloaded the guides script into his phone so Eliza could read along, but he kept poking her and pointing, signing “What's that?”
She'd sign back “lion, rhino, antelope,” and so on and the tour continued. A couple of kids sitting in front of them turned around to watch the impromptu lesson and were soon asking their own questions.
Calum grinned watching Eliza answer every one while still paying close attention to the animals they were there to see. He brushed a curl off her cheek tucking it behind her ear earning him a smile that made his heart catch in his throat. He took a video of her teaching the kids to sign “giraffe” and he couldn't help but think she'd be such a good mom someday. The thought unnerved him for a second, but he squeezed her knee and smiled back. The kids got distracted by their parents who felt bad intruding on what was obviously a date, and Eliza snuck in a quick kiss, pressing her lips to his briefly, just long enough to let Calum know he was already in too deep.
The safari was about two hours long with Eliza alternating between signing for Calum and the kids and holding his hand enjoying the scenery. Every now and then resting her head on his shoulder so her hair tickled his face, and he noticed it smelled like honeysuckle flowers and coconut. Cal couldn't remember the last time he'd taken a girl out on a date and he'd never done anything like this before.
By the time the tour was over they were both hungry and the parents of the two kids offered to treat them to lunch at the restaurant on that side of the park. They wandered back through the park deciding to try the zipline even though Eliza objected not wanting Calum to spend any more money. He overruled her objections and flying above the animals she was glad he'd insisted. He'd gone first so he was waiting when she landed. Eliza was so overwhelmed at the days experience, and this gorgeous man grinning at her with his arms out, she couldn't help but throw her arms around his neck and pull him in for a kiss. His hands tangled in her hair and his tongue parted her lips when they were asked to move along. Calum frowned as he pulled back, leading Eliza back down the trail.
They held hands as they made their way out of the park, stopping occasionally to look at an exhibit and even popping in to feed some colourful lorikeets. Eliza laughed when Calum seemed to finally be warming up to birds until one pooped right in his hand. He looked so embarrassed and grossed out, she felt bad for him but laughed harder as she handed him a wet wipe. They stopped at the petting kraal so Calum could brush a goat which Eliza just had to get video of.
They made their way to Calum's car, and he acted like he was gonna reach around to open the passenger door for her. Instead his hands found her waist backing her against the car. Eliza stood on her toes tilting her head up as his mouth came crashing down on hers continuing where they'd been rudely interrupted. The kiss was deep and passionate, his hands running down her sides gripping her hips, her fingers pulling his curls as her teeth grazed his bottom lip. He started to dip down to kiss her neck and Eliza pushed him away, suddenly.
“I'm sorry I'm sorry” she signed, wide eyed and shaking her head. She grabbed her phone.
I can't have marks on my neck. Where my mom and boss could see them.
Calum backed up and nodded before leaning in and kissing her lips again.
If I ever leave marks, they'll be where no one can see them.
Eliza's jaw dropped and Calum burst out laughing. He opened the door for her, before walking around and getting in himself.
I'm still hungry, let me buy you dinner
That's not how this is supposed to work ya know
Calum was using voice to text so he could talk to her while driving.
Don't care, you just dropped several hundred dollars taking me out today, I can buy you a pizza.
Okay fine, but let's go back to the hotel and let me get a quick shower before we get dinner.
Shower? Where?
I got a room this morning because I figured I'd be too tired to drive back tonight after getting up that early to drive down
How much is this costing you?
Don't worry about it, I can afford it and it was worth it to come see you.
Eliza got freshened up in her room and changed into a yellow sundress with sneakers and a white denim jacket over the dress. Calum was at her door looking handsome as always in a black tank top with an unbuttoned red shirt over it. Ripped black jeans and boots with his hair still wet from his shower, Eliza had to fight the urge to forget about dinner.
The desk clerk was a fan and insisted they try her favorite restaurant about twenty minutes away. The menu was California cuisine with a Greek twist. Eliza skipped it and went straight for the kebab, the smell of the lamb meat already had her mouth watering. Calum followed her lead and it was a slow night so the owner was also running food. He stopped to chat them up and they had a laugh how international the table was, a Maori-Scottish man on a date with an Portuguese-Iranian woman at a Greek restaurant in a Mexican named city eating Turkish food.
He insisted they take a shot of Ouzo on the house, only relenting when Eliza explained she was Muslim, insisting Calum take two in her place.
Calum texted her can you drive a stick? Eliza nodded with a wink and he took the shots. He nursed a beer for the rest of the night not wanting to get silly around Eliza. The liquor got him feeling a bit loose and he couldn't stop touching her. He kept playing with her fingers, rubbing her shoulder, bumping her knee with his, Eliza wasn't drunk but felt intoxicated by the attention.
The food was amazing finally breaking the spell as they concentrated on their meal.
Afterwards they were absolutely stuffed but the owner insisted they take some of his wife's famous kourabiedes, Greek walnut sugar cookies, with them to go.
They got back and Calum walked her to her room. Eliza stopped and pulled out her phone
I want you to come in and hang out, but I don't want you to think this is an invitation to fool around
Okay but you're looking really pretty tonight so I can't promise I won't try and kiss you
I'll consider myself warned
They ended up sitting on the bed holding their phones to chat. Calum was sitting up with a pillow behind him with Eliza sitting between his legs, her back resting against his chest. They were both fully clothed although she'd changed into yoga pants and an oversized t shirt with a sports bra underneath and Rocket and Groot knee socks.
If you're trying to look unappealing, it's not working, but what's with the socks
Maggie is Rocket and I am Groot
He giggled and she looked back at him receiving a kiss before settling back against him.
They stayed that way until after 2am. Cuddling and texting eventually putting one phone one the charger while they passed the other back and forth. Calum talked about his two girlfriends in high school and how awful he'd been to them. He'd had sex for the first time at 15 and he was embarrassed to admit he honestly couldn't tell her how many girls he'd slept with. After that he told her about the girl who'd convinced him he was finally in love. She'd been a drummer and a tattoo artist about a year older than him. He'd become jaded when that fell apart piece by piece until they hated each other. He never missed them as a couple, but sometimes he still missed her.
Eliza nodded she told him about her first boyfriend, Miguel who'd been deaf like her. They'd met at school, as there was only two high schools in the district that had ASL interpreter. They'd dated from sophomore to senior year, and he'd been the one to take her virginity, convincing her they would marry after college and live happily ever after. She found out he was cheating a week before graduation. Her second serious boyfriend was Patrick who she met in literature class her first week of college. They'd been together a little over a year despite Maggie and Kevin never being fully happy with the relationship.
As far as sex was concerned she and Miguel had been kids, sneaking around, figuring things out together, and it had been enjoyable. Patrick had been boring in bed, she knew enough to know that. When she'd gotten the courage to suggest trying something different he'd turned it around on. Patrick had blamed her extra weight and her lack of experience for his poor performance. Their relationship crumbled quickly after that.
Eliza felt suddenly bashful explaining her limited sexual experience and prowess.
I hope if something ever happens you won't be disappointed
Eliza felt Calum's whole body tense up as he read that.
You could never disappoint me, don't ever think that.
He turned her head so she was looking at him and mouthed “Never” before pulling her into a kiss.
Soon they were tangled together in a flush of heavy breathing, roaming hands and passionate kisses. Calum stopped and pulled away watching her face. Eliza was still unsure if she was ready for this and Calum understood that. He got up of the bed and helped her up.
“Not yet” she signed.
“I understand” he signed back before kissing her forehead. “I should go get sleep.”
He kissed her goodnight and went to the desk to see if he could keep his room until Monday.
The next day Calum slept till 10 but Eliza was already up and ready with a bagel sandwich and a coffee for him. She'd decided that since Calum had planned yesterday, and it had been expensive, that today would be the opposite.
They went to Balboa Park to explore the gardens. She only expected to be there a couple hours but the place was huge and breathtakingly beautiful. They marveled at the stunning Spanish-Moorish fountains in Alcazar Park, took pictures at the lily pond in front of the Botanical Building and delighting at the rare orchids inside. They grabbed a light lunch before heading to the carousel.
It was a gorgeous historic menagerie carousel with many animals to choose from. Calum picked a horse but Eliza wanted the dragon. She smiled the entire ride her eyes kept wandering around taking it all in. Calum's heart was in his throat, and he couldn't stop staring. Reputation be damned, he liked this girl, and he had to make sure she knew.
The rest of the short day was spent wandering hand in hand through the Memorial Rose Garden, Calum memorizing which flowers were her favorites. Then the Japanese Friendship garden where they enjoyed strolling through authentic buildings and reading the exhibits. He stole kisses walking down the paths before standing behind her holding her and resting his chin on top of her head while they silently watched the koi ponds.
Calum stepped back and turned her around to face him and raised his eyebrows carefully signing “want girlfriend my will.”
It took Eliza half a second to realize what Calum just asked her.
“Of course” she signed back at him beaming before raising up on her toes to kiss him.\

Don't let the NBA rapper stereotype fool you, Damian Lillard's album is very good
Trust me on this one.
If you’ve never heard Damian Lillard rap before because you've been skeptical of NBA players in the booth, then you’ve been missing out. Lillard, who goes by Dame D.O.L.L.A. on tracks, is good. Not just good for a basketball player, but just good in general.
youtube
The Trail Blazers point guard has had success with the songs too. He dropped the “Bigger than us” music video in 2016 and even has some songs featured on the NBA 2k18 soundtrack .
On top of that, L̶i̶l̶l̶a̶r̶d̶ Dame D.O.L.L.A just dropped his new project “CONFIRMED. I decided to take a listen and break it down track by track.
HERE WE GO:
*Looks at tracklist*
There is a 2 Chainz feature. It’s lit.
Track 1: NO PUNCHES
Beat:
Favorite line: “So many teachers on my journey feel this was my calling. To be examples for present stars and children following. Keep it low, the world ain't gotta know you really balling.”
The intro to an album sets the tone of the whole project, which is a pretty important aspect... just ask Meek Mill.
This is a really good intro song. D.O.L.L.A’s flow is impressive and syncs with this beat really well. You find yourself bopping along to the melody and words instantly. From this intro, you know that D.O.L.L.A is going to give you a lot of lyrical substance and tell you some meaningful things about his life on this album. It reminds me of Lecrae — D.O.L.L.A’s flow lets you know that he will be giving you a message.
Track 2: BOSS LIFE
Beat:
Favorite line: “The value of a dollar quickly change. Still don't do the strip club, but love the finer things. Even when I cop myself a flooded diamond chain. I hate to say I'm different, bruh, but I ain't the same.”
Lillard seems like a pretty humble NBA Player, he doesn’t flex for attention, but that doesn’t mean that he has to act like he doesn’t have money now. On this track, he’s talking about all the newfound things that have come into his life because of his wealth, but he’s not being braggadocios or in your face about it. He’s just telling it how it is.
Nothing in this song sounds like an exaggeration or made up... and that’s incredible.
Track 3: SWITCH SIDES feat Verse Simmonds, Brookfield Deuce.
Beat:
Favorite line: “Y'all loud mouths move in silence. Fake tough, ain't new to violence. East Oakland, immune to sirens. Jet talk, we do it private. “
This is the first song on the album that contains features. The hook is pretty catchy and this song has mad potential to be the new NBA Offseason anthem. Will it be the go-to subtweet song lyrics when a free agent signs with another team? Because that’s all I think about when I listen to this song.
Track 4: Run it up feat Lil Wayne
Beat:
Favorite line: “I'm from where Golden State at but Portland where I lay at I'm the Daddy Mac, Mac Daddy with hoop and rappin' Y'all be on your Kris Kross, uh, hustlin' backwards All this game I'm givin' is prolly gon' be a caption.”
The beat screams banger, but the lyrics aren’t about the standard club shit.... well Wayne’s lyrics are.
D.O.L.L.A's lyrics, on the other hand, reminds us that he could stunt on all of us is he really wanted to.
I’d play it in the whip, not gonna lie.
youtube
Track 5: SHOOTA feat. Expensive Melodies
Beat:
Favorite line: Can you pretty please tell me that fragrance? Never name drop, but, baby, I'm famous You hotter than a sauna, girl let my mama, meet your mama, girl
This is the new shoot your shot anthem. It feels like when Meek Mill has that ballad style song in the middle of his usual style.
It’s an interesting move to get someone else to sing the hook even though the hook says “I’m Dame no Dash”. It’s a fire hook don’t get me wrong, it just caught me off-guard to hear someone sing “I’m Dame no Dash” and the person singing it isn’t Dame.
At first, I was like “Yo, Lillard can sing like this?!” and then you do a double take at the tracklist.
Track 6: ANOMALY feat 2 Chainz
Beat: TRUUUUUUU
Favorite line: Reporting live from the blacktop. I've been hustling since Will Smith had a flattop - 2 Chainz
Dame D.O.L.L.A’s ear for beats is pretty damn good. His flow and voice are also pretty versatile and it shows on this beat. It’s rare for someone to have a song with 2 Chainz and not have the show stolen from them. That’s major props to D.O.L.L.A.
This is the perfect beat for a collaboration with 2 Chainz. His flow is so smooth that he just rode the beat and spit that heat.
Now we just need to see Lillard vs 2 Chainz on the court.
2 Chainz a national treasure http://pic.twitter.com/mYQ6szlliK
— Blog Post Malone (@KofieYeboah) May 2, 2017
Track 7: MARSHAWN LYNCH
Beat: You know why I’m here.
Favorite line: What I'm here for Looking in your cabinet for that Hypno Trying to get it popping like some Crisco Speeding cross that bridge off to Frisco It's official
This might be my favorite beat and hook on the anthem. I was looking for a surprise Marshawn cameo but it is what it is. Can there be a remix? Please?
Track 8: TRAP PARTY (FUNERAL)
Beat: Eerie
Favorite line: I stopped by the crib, condolences and my feelings hurt, My partner really ain't coming back, I just buried him in six feet of dirt, And ready to deal with that pain though.
This might be my favorite overall song on the album. The hook, the vibe and the lyrics all come together perfectly and lyrics are heavy. When you lose a friend or a loved one, you reminisce on the good and funny memories with your Day 1 friends while still trying to react and cope with the hurt. This is just one of the many points on the album when D.O.L.L.A is saying that real shit. Those lyrics that stick and resonate with those that have gone through the same thing.
Track 9: 5TH of HENN
Beat:
Favorite line: The girl in the passenger seat, I'm taking her on a safari, I charter the plane on vacation, I lead to a standing ovation, That Henny in rotation
On this song, for some reason, D.O.L.L.A seems more comfortable with switching up the flows. He’s a pretty composed person and you can feel it throughout this album, but this song seems to contain an extra burst of energy. Especially right out of the gates with the first verse. This song isn’t introspective, but rather a fun song to two-step to after some shots. Something to pregame to before hitting the club, you know?
Track 10: ONE & ONLY
Beat: ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️
Favorite line:
Put your feet on my lap and let me massage that
Girl, I bring you everywhere the squad at (the squad)
It's magic everywhere we makin' contact
Let's focus on us and never get sidetracked
It’s an interesting transition from 5TH of HENN, but it’s not that type of album so it doesn’t matter that much. This song is telling me that Damian Lillard is working on becoming more versatile as a musician. He takes a stab at singing the hook and I had to again do a double take at the tracklist to make sure it wasn’t someone else.
I wasn’t expecting him to sing the hook okay?! With that being said... it’s not bad. I respect the attempt and him expanding his horizons.
Track 11: THE LET DOWN feat Nick Grant & BJ The Chicago Kid
Beat:
Favorite line: Will they love me when I'm slowin' down and missin' game winners?
No longer buyin' flights and all them free steak dinners. Wish me happy birthday if it's over 'cause I'm injured. Is the luxury the only thing I gave 'em to remember?
Throughout this song, D.O.L.L.A is contemplating how his life will look after he’s done playing basketball.
What Lillard is asking us fans is when it’s all said and done, who is going to give a shit? Fame isn’t easy, and going from being in the spotlight to fading away from it is an intense transition that isn’t the same for everyone. You really feel for D.O.L.L.A in the fact that he’s reaching to us as Dame D.O.L.L.A the person and not just a basketball player that entertains the masses like some people sadly only see him as.
I ain’t famous or rich, but I still felt this.
It’s like NAV said. “They gon' leave you when you down, not when you up”
Nick Grant and BJ the Chicago Kid have excellent features on top of a beat that reminds you of your kickball stats on the playground when you were a kid.
Just me? Alrighty then.
Track 12: MEMBERS ONLY
Beat:
Favorite line:
I keep a small circle (I do), family, couple homies
Know these suckers hating so I'm never by my lonely
You know how we rocking, this a testimony
Can never crack the code, better know it's members only
For someone who spends as much time in the spotlight as Lillard does, he stresses the importance of having a few good friends in life. It’s like the anti-Jay Gatsby way, which is a very good thing.
Lillard is very wise, and while he’s telling us about his life, he’s dropping some pretty valuable advice. He’s aware of the toils of fame, and he’s not going to let the side effects of popularity consume and corrupt him.
Track 13: WONDERLAND
Beat:
Favorite line: Cause they jealous bout where they at and what you was blessed with, And the problems steady stacking, life's a game of Tetris So many friends come and go but real ones gon' remain, Cause the kind of love you need only real ones can sustain.
Lyrically this song sounds like a sequel to THE LET DOWN. D.O.L.L.A is questioning who is really here for more than Dame the rich and successful. It’s also a good outro and a good point to end the album on. A good end to a very solid project.
IN CONCLUSION:
Damian Lillard is a part-time rapper. He tours the country as a member of the Portland Trail Blazers. Maybe one day he’ll headline a concert tour in the offseason. I’d cop a ticket.
Yes. He’s that good.
WIth this album, Lillard has evolved from a basketball player that raps to being someone that’s good enough to have a standalone career as a rapper.
After hearing this album you can hear how much he’s evolved since the 2015 video at the beginning of this article.
Yes, there are points where he’s trying out different flows and styles like in ONE & ONLY and Run It Up. You can tell which styles he’s comfortable with and which ones he sounds less comfortable with at the moment. These are nitpicky things because I was asked to think of criticisms for this album and I don’t have any major criticisms.
I look forward to seeing where he goes from here. His music potential is pretty damn high and you have to figure out your strengths and weaknesses through trial and error like most rappers do before they get super big in the industry.
Damian Lillard is evolving his style and improving his craft. Overall, the jump that D.O.L.L.A has made from The Letter O is enough to convince you that the sky is the limit for how good D.O.L.L.A can get.
For a lot of athletes that dabble in music, it’s just a hobby for them. For Lillard, it could be another career.
He’s that good.

Surviving 2016: Year of the Extremes
Nineteen years of existence and I must say, 2016 really was (so far) the most challenging of them all. I’d rather not bore anyone at all with a detailed story of how 2016 made me experience the best of both worlds so here is a glimpse of the highlights of my year in photographs and a short description:
January
Angels Walk for Autism - The ASP annually organizes an event wherein its main goal is to spread both awareness and happiness. It was fun seeing people with autism happily dancing with a big smile on their faces. The sweaty atmosphere sure did give off that euphoric vibe.
Intramuros - It’s been a long time since I last visited Intra. I’ve always wanted to come back now that I’m a bit older and more curious with our history. Luckily, my lola, who worked as a tour guide in her younger years, invited me to go there. It’s nice because as we walk, she always has an interesting fact to tell.
February
DLSUST Psych Swap - If you’re unaware, I had a struggle before in choosing what college to attend to. I ended up going to UST. So when the opportunity to become a lassalian for a day knocked, I didn’t hesitate.
Shiela’s birthday bash @ SUN - During this time while all my friends were getting wasted, I was taking photos using my polaroid. Surprise, surprise, hindi pa ako umiinom nung mga time na ‘to. When my friends and I bought alcohol, she had to buy an ice cream and pizza just for me. Ah, the simple joys in life
Project SAWI - I was the mastermind behind this event and it was my first time. This event gave me the opportunity to talk to Ramon Bautista, Joyce Pring, etc. I was so stressed trying to look for speakers. Unfortunately, they all had a jampacked schedule. It’s Valentine’s, duh. Ate Pat Yulo even assigned me to lead the prayer before the event. I was so nervous that time. Good thing I listened intently, little did I know I was about to face the pitfall of my relationship a few days later.
March
Goodbye, walwal virginity - March 02, 2016 was the very first time I let alcohol in my system. It tasted good but it made my head throb. I felt so dizzy as if my whole world was spinning. There were a lot of crying and laughing. I ended up puking on my friend’s bedsheet. I remember waking up from a sleep, asking Jem for a plastic. And while they were all panicking, voila, I already vomited. Bea ended up giving me a bath and Jem ended up washing his bedsheet. I’m not proud of it, but that was a great first walwal story.
Les Misérables - I LOVED IT SO MUCH AND I TRIED TO KEEP MYSELF CALM BUT I COULDN’T CONTAIN IT
Cavite Crew - My friends and I went to my friend’s place at Cavite to walwal (March 18-19). Another memorable one for me. I was crying in the bathroom while staring at my reflection, I puked a lot of times, I played beer pong for the first time, and just like any other walwal session with me, there were a lot of crying and laughing. Thankful for my friends.
April
Serendipity - I got the chance to be someone’s prom date! It felt like highschool all over again. I also made a new friend, Yana.
Jumpyard - The inner child in me was jubilant. Although tiring, jumping everywhere was such a fun and thrilling experiencing.
Kat’s birthday bash - I was shookt. I guess I’ll keep the reason to myself. I’m just gonna leave this here: I never thought I’d survive but I did.
May
Comm Dev at Rizal - I really love attending community development activities. It makes me feel like I’m slowly contributing to the betterment of the country. And kasama ko isa sa mga crush ko dito I can’t.
Spontaneous hangout - “2AM in your car. You pass my street, the memories start.” First time to get out of the house at midnight just to have a mini roadtrip and have deep conversations with someone. We went home at 8AM haha the struggle was real.
Bea’s birthday bash - Another hotel night with my friends. It was fun, I guess. I didn’t drink at all just so I could take embarrassing photos of my friends and use them as a blackmail in the future. I’m kidding. I did drink, though. Ian went to Pasig all the way from Fairview, idk why, but he did. The rest is history.
Baccalaureate Mass - Yay I was a staffer here, lol. The fireworks were the bomb. And after everything, I went to Jollibee to eat late dinner with Yana and Miel. So cute kasi Miel went to QPav to give me food just because. Huhu my heart.
The Big Reveal - I’ve always wanted to go to Barkin Blends. Thanks to Miel for accompanying me. HAHAH after this we went to eat at Buffalo’s then we spent the rest of the afternoon (to night) talking at Sunken Garden. We were both vulnerable, exchanging life stories. That was our first hug (May 30). The next day we went to UPTC for a PsychSoc thingy. We ate at S&R and again, shared life stories. That night he kissed me on the cheek NAKAKALOKA.
June
Double Date - I have no picture of the four of us. Miel, Franclem, Nikki and I went to Gateway to watch Now You See Me 2. While waiting we killed time at Timezone
Girls, girls, girls! - Finally had the long overdue hohol with my bffs.
July
Zoobic Safari - A different kind of family date
sleepHOEver - Fun sleepover with my LOML
Sleeping with the fishies - Had an overnight stay at Hotel H2O + a visit to Manila Ocean Park. I LOVE ADVENTURES LIKE THIS
August
Dorm Buds + BFF4L - First time to live away from home. Best thing is that I’m with my best friend!
Singapore - It’s good to be back.
September
My birthday bash - Along with Kat, Jade, and Abby, Miel surprised me on my birthday too. I actually thought that it was my friends’ plan. I didn’t expect anything from him lol. And he asked me to be his girlfriend.
October
Class Pic - I’ll always be home.
CommDev - Another exciting comm dev activity thanks to Psych Soc!
