as someone who is so incredibly autistic abt armor design, datv has tested my patience a bit
#i like lucanis’s armor where he has a breastplate. especially his one armor set that has a gauntlet on his right arm makes me happy#‘leather’ armor would usually be worn over chainmail & some leather armor was worn in like the 14th cent in specific regions but#for the most part it’s just not optimal & a bad choice in general when you can get better alternatives (im so gambesonpilled im srry)#especially against swords/daggers/axes etc#don’t even get me started on taash’s armor. not only are a lot of them just incredibly insensitive but in no setting#should a front liner/warrior be wearing anything like some of their armor designs. autistically angry abt it don’t show your midriff!#it defeats the entire purpose of wearing a breastplate plssss
