I fully believe that if dragons were real then humans would have found a way to fuck them up through domestication. Smaller bodies to fit in stables, large wings and fat reserves for longer flights, have to be milked for fire every day otherwise they'll explode, removable scales we can use for jewelry and/or protective clothing. They'd basically be flying lizard-shaped sheep.
