-First, let’s talk about some importants things.

-Bayo is 5’8, and you being short as hell for her makes the vibe more clearer, you’re her Gomez and she’s your Morticia, ofc. Also, Bayo showed to be obviously more darker than Jeanne, so I’ll take the liberty to use Gomez and Morticia’s real over all strange but romantic couple type.

-Whenever you both are together in your black, elegant and kind of special house or just in general, the romantic and creepy (as Jeanne describe it sometimes..) couple quotes are a whole thing. You both can’t live a day without giving the other red/black roses and tell them something like, "Amor, I’ll make/get you the most prettiest dark dress just so you can be as dead and pretty as you are to me." (Romantic for you guys hello remember it? You both are kind of trash here.)

-You can’t stop gently kissing her hands or kiss her at all. You can’t let one without the other.

-Going to the point where you’re an artist, well, this is one of the reasons why bayo fell in love. Your (mostly) black and dark red dress or just outfits in general were so pretty, she loved your passion and seeing you being more passionate as well. Now she is kind of premium member one, lol, you always at least make her one dress every two-three weeks. Got more passion for her tho.

-I’m not gonna get too into it, but when it comes to the bed, Bayo’s ofc a top. But sometimes she’ll let you do what you wanna do, but not too much<3 she keeps her role. And by going, romanticism will never stop. Rose’s, wine, cozy and gloomy kind of lighting…It’s just perfect for you. As your couple is perfect.

-She is more of a black cat than you, but you both works as well as black and grey kitty’s. (Didn’t wanted to put white cat. It’s Jeanne, lol.)

-concerning about being out of the house, she always have an arm on your hips and romantic behavior with her. As well as you. Sometimes people like Jeanne, Luka and blah blah blah can thought of something like, "It’s looks fucked up but- It’s cute tho." and everything that goes on. They’re understandably kind of scared whenever you guys are too trash for them, lol. More Luka than Jeanne tbh.

g-witch thoughts! i loved this show, it’s my favorite non-tomino gundam by a mile and while i wish it had gotten the full 50 episode gundam treatment to better pace certain plotlines and flesh some things out, i think it was still satisfying.

spoilers //    and such under the cut.

suletta and miorine get married 🥰 the ending felt like a direct reference to the ending of iron-blooded orphans, with miorine in her suit rolling up at the nice little farm suletta is living at with the rest of their family. two mainline gundams in a row ending on women being married. not that bandai will acknowledge it.

it’s a relatively low-death ending, but miorine and suletta floating in space gave me echoes of fa and kamille, though with an immediate happy ending instead of waiting through zz to see how it went. and it certainly doesn’t have the punch or power of utena’s ending. i think it could have hit those zeta or utena highs with more episodes, but for what it is, it’s simple and sweet.

i warmed up more to the miscellaneous elans as i began to saw them both as a broad comparison point for suletta and eri - el5n unmasking prospera seemed anticlimactic at first, but i think his place as a clone makes that more interesting and it was put into perspective by el4n being who suletta meets in the data storm. and after him barely being a character prior to this, it was amusing to see original elan be like ‘lol anyway later losers, gonna go fuck that jeturk guy.’

the slighter death toll and happier ending also brought me back to utena in some ways, with the elans reminding me in ways of mamiya.

i still wish sophie and norea had gotten some lines from the data storm, though. i liked seeing prospera’s husband and all, but sophie and norea were more interesting so i want some follow up beyond ‘they’re just vibing in the soup~!’

but speaking of nadeem or whatever, wild that kenanji never got any sort of comeuppance for killing him or, like, threatening children and shit. even prospera could not defeat his immaculate tboy swag, good for him. he’s too hot for me to hold it against him.

prospera is a very interesting char clone, and while i think she suffers more in the finale from that rushed feeling than sulemio do, i like the broad strokes. my biggest criticism is the ableist tendency of shows like this to go ‘eh, shaddiq gets years in prison as his punishment, and prospera gets (checks notes) being in a wheelchair’. as though that is a punishment, or that it would hinder her ability to commit further crimes. (her actual reason for not doing so is love of her family, but if i were the council who was about to space laser quiet zero and everyone in it, i’m not sure i’d accept that one as an out.)

but eri being able to connect with her sister reminds me of ple two’s connection to the original elpeo ple swaying her to aeug’s side; and i think we see in char’s ending a similar hesitance about his plan that prospera has, when he revealed he gave amuro the psycho-frame for nu gundam. so i think there’s some gundam history shorthand helping with the shorter episode count, for me.

the tone of the ending prior to the cute mercury family stuff - the ‘well we solved this conflict but let’s be honest it’s gonna last like a decade at most’ - reminds me, again, of iron-blooded orphans... but also turn a gundam, in a way i appreciate. turn a has that same vibe of ‘these evil capitalists are out of the picture, this conflict is resolved, but the ones who remain or who replace them? they are just building more mobile suits for the next time a war comes.’ it’s a happy ending for our heroes, but it’s not a resolution to the class war between earthians and spacians.

for how little time they got on screen, petra and felsi made me smile.

i think it needed more episodes to deal with some of the other conflicts - miorine and her father largely just make up by way of his near-death, for instance - and i could use a couple of one-off episodes with chuchu and her eight union dads or an ojela/nuno comedy hijinks episode. but i still really like it, overall.

Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 - Disc 9

Finally reached the final volume! Really the only things I got out of this was the art and maybe the omake bits. Didn't care about the characters/plot at all lol. I guess this is a parallel universe so it doesn't contribute much to canon...It was cute though, so no regrets.

Ch. 52

-These "final battle" chapters have been a breeze to get through since it's mostly just action. I'm glad they threw a little bit of strategy in there with Taichi's explanation of the dot matrix though. Makes it feel more well thought out.

-In the previous volume I had complained about the lack of a team, but they did explain how Hideto's previous battle was crucial to winning this one, so I guess that's something. (But Zero and Taichi still have to be number one...)

-The mangaka confirmed my suspicions about Neo being an anagram for One. I guess that was pretty obvious...

Ch. 53

-So we finally see the "super ultimate" form of Arkadimon which I guess is stronger than the mega form? IDK...shit's confusing. The design kind of reminds me of the witches from Madoka. Sort of eldritch looking. I don't understand if his appendages are supposed to be like hair or tentacles...

-Sort of want to see an alternate ending where Neo achieves his goal, just so he can then fall into loneliness and despair when he's all alone in his new world (or would he be OP enough to create fake people? IDK...)

-"God Matrix" was pretty epic, but I feel like it didn't seem all that destructive despite looking like a nuke went off. We lost, what, one digimon? (One named digimon anyway)

Ch. 54

-More deus ex machina stuff. Apparently most overwrites shorten digimon's lifespan, but OH! There's a super-special-secret overwrite, the Alforce, that makes digimon power up through sunshine and rainbows! Riiiight.

-I don't like Zero's Alforce form because he looks kinda soulless now, almost like a bad guy. His "outfit" gives super sentai vibes. It's just kinda all over the place. Also, Mari said "he doesn't look like a dog anymore!" This manga keeps tryna gaslight me into thinking Zero looks like a dog when he never did lol.

-I thought the whole "Neo is doing this because of his sister's accident" thing was already established? I know Rei didn't know, but Sigma?

-Lol at Rei INSTANTLY jumping off a cliff. She didn't even hesitate for a second.

Ch. 55

-Okay, I'm going to say something hypocritical. First I was annoyed that Neo was a flat, evil-for-the-sake-of-it, villain, but now I'm annoyed that he gets to be insta-redeemed for "secretly having his heart in the right place." How are they going to pretend he still cares about his sister at this point? I feel like I could go back and find a bunch of evidence of Neo not giving a shit about Rei anymore (in fact 2 seconds ago he was carelessly tossing nukes in her direction), but oh well. I get the vibe that this franchise really likes redemption arcs.

-Lol guess Demon is the final boss after all! What a twist! I like his super ultimate look, very Go Nagai looking. Too bad his name is kinda stupid. Will Neo help fight him? (Somehow...without a partner...)

Ch. 56

-Ugh, they're doing that really tedious shounen power escalation thing. Every other chapter it's like "yes, we've powered up, no one could possibly beat us!" and then "What's this? An even STRONGER digimon!? And they know that legendary, ultra powerful technique!? This is our toughest battle yet!" and then a stronger mon/ability shows up and so on and so forth. I think the digi-formula is to drag the battle on a liiiiiittle past the point of annoying the audience to make things feel more climactic.

-They tried to give Demon some nuance by pulling the whole "liberation from tamers" schtick. I feel like there's not a ton of merit to it since it's the digimon that called the humans into their world in the first place.

-Demon says "humans created us!" I guess in this version of digimon the v-pets exist, so true (but then some just came outta nowhere like Zero?)

Ch. 57

-Okay, I'm glad they used the already established digimental's power instead of introducing more new, innate ancient digimon powers. Super ultimate Zero doesn't look super different from his prior form. It's maybe a slight improvement, but not very noticeable...

-We get a redeemed!Neo moment. I still kinda wish he'd answer for his crimes more, but maybe that comes later. They're kinda busy right now lol

-The digimental looks pretty different from the ones in the anime. Reminds me of an exsphere (from Tales of Symphonia)

Ch. 58

-This was a pretty paint-by-numbers ending. The day is saved, everyone celebrates and then the kids have to go back to their world. One element that set this apart from the anime is that there's still the v-pet element so Taichi is technically still acting as Zero's tamer. How things look from Zero's POV we'll never know.

-The ending reveal of everyone's human world counterparts threw me back to Dot Hack, especially with Rei in her wheelchair. Sigma without a mask was cute, I like how there's some subtle shipping with him and Mari in the background.

Omake - A New Courage

-Lol Taichi and Taichi, now we're getting REALLY meta! They did a good job of visually distinguishing the two Taichi's while still making them nearly identical. The art was definitely the most fun part about this omake.

-Agumon looked soooo cute in this ;w; so tiny next to Zero! And he gets to ride on his shoulders <3

-Why did Zero devolve (de-digivolve?) in this? I thought in the manga universe that wasn't a thing...

-The excuse for the plot this time was pretty lame "oh, the humans are making viruses and stuff so that manifested in our world," yeah whatever. Again, it kind of annoys me how anime!Taichi just instantly agrees to help with a battle that could take ages when he should be more concerned if he'll ever see his friends again.

Overall this was like a C+ experience. Perfectly serviceable, but not super memorable. In MAL terms I give it like a 5 outta 10. What do you call shounen for younger kids anyways? Super shounen? Baby shounen? There's gotta be a term out there...

Alright so I'm watching the anime The Way of the Househusband on Netflix and writing my thoughts as I watch. This might be a tad unhinged, but here we go. As always if you liked this content feel free to be me a coffee. Also, yes, I do know that there a multiple episodes in each episode but I'm going to number them by how they're contained and labeled through Netflix as that's how I'm watching it :)

Season Two Episode One

Association fee (what association?), that's an intricately drawn tie, tulips The food!, Also Masa referring to Miku as sis is development A cat cafe, how many part-time jobs does Tatsu have?, aww the little stray and it's likeness to her late husband Typhoon croquettes, honey your raincoat camping episode, white stuff=marshmallows, banna and marshmellows sounds good, again with a cook off the crepe master and the nerd having an encounter with each other.

Season Two Episode Two

The eight dragons, love the titles he gives them Also the tea test to be undercut by the flower arrangements. Flower arrangement classes, this guy already has far too many hobbies/part-time jobs! Tatsu the tablesetter… I love how Tasu and Miku teaming up on the visit to the hospital. wow that nurse, guess that everyone is a critic. Some good points but like they’re not professionals. Season Two Episode Three

Dried chilli powder for popcorn!? Tatsu, Miku, and Masa geeking out over their niche fandoms. The Lion Queen, really LOL The police gaining a hamster, at least they didn’t get hurt this time One with nature huh Yes ladies they are morons Coffee yes so good, very relatable What is this bad luck streak?

Season Two Episode Four

I love Masa’s blue golf outfit!! A dagger’s length apart, lol What is this opening, ah its gardening They’re plants they’re not going anywhere On the other hand…Monkeys. Oh Miku Lore Drop!?! Oh, ghost story episode must be for around Halloween Time I’m calling it that Tatsu is going to be the best story. Uh, wait a curse and crabs? Oh a shopping horror and forgotten food No one is good at ghost stories, got it Ok, red eyes to emphasize this kid’s creepy is a nice touch, what was that carrot story?? Yes, where gardening gloves people… weeds WILL slice up your hands Yes Vinegar stinks…Also that info dump on apple vinegar Yep these two will fight over anything, its how they show their affection apparently Love how the kids are wondering how the adults have so much energy and not vice versa Shop Locally if you can people it keeps small shops open, also if Tatsu says they’re quality knives I believe it. You strutted into The Grill, black ripped jeans on, a dark red, spaghetti-strapped blouse tucked into the jeans, and your hair blown out and voluminous. Your red painted lips were upturned into a smirk, eyes covered by your black sunglasses. 

Heads easily turned at the sight of you. Men and women’s mouths opened, catching flies. You looked around to see if you could spot your group of friends. You looked to see them playing pool. 

You had just moved here two weeks ago. You were getting tired of living in Chicago, since you had been living there for the past 10 years. Being a vampire, you usually stayed in a place for a decade or so before people noticed you weren't getting any older. You usually started at a place at 15 years old, using makeup and clothing to make yourself look younger since you were and have been 20 for a little over 2 centuries. 

You had decided to go to Mystic Falls, Virginia since there were rumours of other vampires here. You thought you might be able to see you friends, but you sadly didn’t. Instead, you found the infamous Salvatore brothers. The ones that one of your friends, Katherine Pierce, talked about. Katherine, sadly, was gone and was running from the Original hybrid, Klaus. You missed her, but you knew you would see her again soon. 

On your first day in Mystic Falls, you had gotten the attention of a petite, cute blonde named Caroline Forbes. You actually ran into her first at the high school she and her friends went to. You were playing the new girl and Caroline had kindly partnered up with you. You had actually planned on using her as a snack, but she quickly threw you against the wall and was about to snap your neck when you apologized for mistaking her as a human. You explained you have been a vampire since 1796, being turned from Katherine as a favor for giving her shelter and a place to hide. You loved being a vampire and you wouldn’t have had it any other way. 

Next you met Elena, who was a new vampire, and Bonnie Bennet who was a witch and descendent of one of your old friends, Emily Bennet. Bonnie and you quickly became friends, too. You showing her the good side of being a vampire and that you weren’t all looking for trouble. 

Then, you met Stefan Salvatore. He was cute, like Katherine had mentioned. He also was helplessly in love with Elena, but they sadly had broken up a few weeks before you came. Now, Elena was pining over someone else, which led you to Damon Salvatore. 

Sexy, funny, and basically the male version of you, so Bonnie and Caroline say. Damon and you had a fun. playful relationship. You two acted like you hated each other because you were so alike, but also teasing each other to the point where you two are horny and face’s are red like firetrucks.

Elena was also head over heels for him, too, which pissed you off. Elena and you kept it pretty civil, but the way she looked at Damon made you want to snap her neck and kill her, but to your dismay, she was already dead and Stefan would never let you close enough to stake her. Like right now while they were playing pool, she was making goo-goo eyes at him. 

You rolled your eyes and took off your sunglasses, putting them in your back pocket.

“Wow, you desperate for attention or something? Can’t compel guys to screw you?” Elena blurted as you walked towards them. 

You raised your brows in amusement, smiling with it. “Wow, someone so jealous that they have to insult another woman?” 

Elena pouted and moved back, embarrassed. 

“She’s a new vampire, her emotions are still amplified and she’s learning to control it,” Stefan stuck up for her. 

“Stefan, don’t stick up for her. She's been a vampire for like, a month, according to you all. She should be able to control her emotions by now,” you said and moved next too Damon, who was looking you up and down. 

I personally like Y/n’s outfit,” Damon smirked. 

You blushed but looked down to hide your face. 

“Damon, you like anything walking with skin showing,” Stefan scoffed. 

You frowned at him. 

“I happen to like Y/n’s outfit, too. Really cute and sexy,” Caroline smiled. 

You smiled back at her. “Thank you. I’ll let you borrow my top sometime. Whenever Tyler comes back, you can wear it.” Caroline jumped up and down in excitement. You chuckled and grabbed a pool cute.

You went next to Damon, purposely brushing your arm on his. Butterflies shot down from your stomach to your core. Your skin tingled at the contact. Your eyes met with Damon’s icy blue ones. You felt heat gather between your thighs, and you looked away before your legs could give out from under you. 

“Something wrong, L/n?” Damon asked in a low tone. 

“Nope,” you breathed in.

“God, I’m gonna slam you against the wall if you keep up your streak,” Damon muttered in annoyance.

“Woah, that's a new one. Working on your one-liners? Hoping to get laid, Salvatore?” You teased back.

“Hm, I wouldn't do you either. Who knows how many girls you've been with in your 170 plus years,” you said, bumping your hip with his to get him out of the way. 

“We are gonna go to the bar, want anything?” Caroline asked, obviously wanting to get away from you and Damon’s inappropriate jokes. 

“A round of shots!” You ordered. 

“For you and Damon?” Caroline asked, surprised.  “Yep. Winner gets to plan out the next mission to kill Klaus. Alcohol makes playing pool a lot harder,” you said, looking back and smiling at Damon.

He smiled back at you. A friendly, sweet smile. He couldn’t help it, even though he was teasing you and being playfully rude to you a few minutes ago. 

You were beautiful. Your ability to not give a shit about anyone’s opinions about you, being able to handle a joke, being secure in yourself. Joking around with him, sharing the same humor with him. “I think you said win wrong,” Damon smiled at you. 

You grinned and gave him a shot. You two downed it easy and set the cups down. You walked back to the pool table, bending down and lining up your pool cue. You took your shot, the white ball hitting a purple solid, but not with enough force. You huffed, stepping back and letting Damon take the stand. 

“Looks like the alcohol has already affected your aim,” Damon smirked. 

“Shut up,” you rolled your eyes. 

Damon took position and took his shot. He managed to get 3 striped balls in. Your jaw fell in amazement. Damon turned back to you, chuckling at your expression. He looked you in the eyes and did his signature smirk. As he held eye contact with you, your knees buckles. You yelped as you fell, reaching out for the pool table ledge, but it was too far. Instead of falling, though, you were caught by Damon. 

You fell against his chest, your head ending up on his shoulder. You gasped as he caught you at the last second, quickly looking up into his eyes. His blue eyes were already staring down at you. He was looking at you with that loving look again. You returned the look, trying to let him know with your eyes that you were in love with him. His arms tightened around you, his hands resting on the small of your back. His touch felt warm and made you feel protected.

Damon blushed lightly, but rolled his eyes to cover that fact. “Okay, Missy, I’ll drive you home.”

“Fine,” you huffed. You held onto his bicep, stumbling as you walked to the door. Your grip on his bicep had butterflies swarming in his chest. Damon sighed and stopped walking. He put his arm under your legs and your back and scooped you up. 

Your heart fluttered and you giggled as a verbal response. Damon smiled softly at your laugh, it making his heart happy. He carried you to your car and had you hand your keys over. He set you on your passenger seat and buckled you in. He went over to the driver’s seat. He drove you back home.

You grumbled in agreement and drank more coffee. You two sat in a comfortable silence until you felt a little more awake and a lot less drunk. 

“Vampires sober up fast,” you laughed. 

“Mhm and you happen to be one,” Damon smiled and booped your nose. 

You smacked his hand away playfully. He took your hand and did something that you never thought he would. He intertwined his fingers with yours. Your face flushed and you looked into his eyes for an answer. 

“Damon?” You asked. 

He put his other hand on your cheek, moving his head closer to your lips. You started to breathe heavily and your dead heart felt alive again.

Your brain couldn’t process what was happening. “Damon? Do you know what you’re doing?”

Damon smiled at you. “I know.”

congrat's Frankie on being a they/them femme. it's suck that the design team had to get rid of their green skin and neck bolts because of universal, but giving them a prosthetic leg is a cool addition. the necks on the dolls are shorter and unfortunately with Frankie it shows LMAO. outfit wise, they grew on me, i like the preppy look with bits of hot pink. and while i know making Frankie they/them is rainbow capitalism at work, i appreciate mattel/ paramount/ whoever doing the bare minimum and casting non-binary actors.

original Clawdeen was always a mixed bag for me because she had a great face but ugly outfits (the constant use of green and purple on her was a huge turn off for me, idk how people stand it). new Clawdeen seems to be leaning more into purple and yellow which i'm happy about. on the flip side, old Clawdeen's outfits used patterns better, where the new base outfit is just too busy. mattel brought back the sculpted fur from G2, which i like. a lot of people didnt like the fur on the side of her head, but as a cis woman with facial hair, it's relatable lol. she's also the most obvious example imo of MH leaning into a "cuter" look face-wise. i'm mixed because i do love the scarier/ edgier look of G1 but... G3 Clawdeen's freckles... 🥺 <3

Cleo was another G1 character that everyone loved but wasn't crazy about. in a franchise with sea monsters, skeletons, ghosts, ect, she was just.... person-looking? when her G3 counterpart showed up, i was shocked at how much i loved her face. i agree with a lot of people that her outfit and especially the boots don't do much for me, so i might wait for a version with an outfit i like but over all i'm really charmed by her.

there isn't a good image of her yet, but i'll agree with others saying how disappointing it is that Lagoona changed so drastically. apparently she was one of least popular dolls in the core group so mattel changed her from blue to pink (sigh). they seem to have dropped her webbed hands as well, but they did give her translucent legs which is cool. i'm definitely the most torn on Lagoona, because i think the pastel-piranha look is really cute, but there's so little left of G1 Lagoona that it makes me sad.

Toralei is a Sunset Shimmer rip off <3. yeah Toralei came first, but damn does her G3 version look a lot like Sunset, especially since her doll has long hair and a cocky smile. mad that she's a walmart exclusive, but if i get any doll from the new line, it will be her.

lastly is Deuce who, again, doesn't have much to go on, but looks pretty good! i rarely collect guy dolls so i don't have a G1 Deuce (regret not getting the Boo York 2-pack with him and that really lovely Cleo), but i'm tempted to get him! i like the green skin, i like the more "monster-ish" elements that he and some of the other dolls have. (Cleo's molded wraps, Clawdeen and Toralei's animal noses, ect.) here's hoping that his body is scaly.

he's the only bitchh ive got rotating in my mind rn. his entire magical girl theme is ocean and sailor. his little magicalgirl outfit is a sailor suit with a big ribbon and a matching ribbon in his hair because he fuckin loves dumbass outfits!!!!!! they r all like freshmen in high school so buggy has braces. his weapon is a big navy blue metal anchor attached by really long chains and he swings it around to hit, but the chains are also barbed so he can wrap people up in them to do damage! i think his wish would be something along the lines of "i wish this person/thing would never do harm on someone again" or smtng like that, so now his weapon's chains are barbed so whenever he wants to do harm on someone he will also harm himself as kind of a. equal justice kinda thing. double edged blade. he wraps bandages around his hands to try and make it hurt less but when it comes 2 protecting a person he will just grit thru it . he is a lot like sayaka in the sense that he feels like its his responsibility to protect everyone and stop witches before they happen, but seeing how no matter how much energy and will he dedicates to fighting for others the world will continue to throw punches it will. um. itll be a lot for just a little guy 😔

and when you enter the labyrinth you’re on the shore of a beach with a shipwreck. and u see this huge looming shape in the distance. and its like this big bunched up sea siren mermaid thing with tentacle hair obscuring her face tangled up in a tangle of barbed chains and fishnet and its kind of like a cocoon bc the chains extend up up up into the sky and to the sides endlessly. there r pieces of sea debris and barrels and shipwreck parts in the sea floating that u have to jump across to reach the actual witch (the siren) and she is singing so so sadly to u . but the chains surrounding her act like kraken tentacles and try to pierce or at least topple anyone into the water who tries to come near her. if someone falls into the water or one of the chains draws blood the siren will start wailing and her hair tentacles will shoot out from the cage to try and grab them and pull them closer to safety, however unfortunately that usually spells instant doom for them because once she pulls you into her cage you are going to be just as fucked over by the barbed chains as she is😔so basically anyone trying to defeat her has to dodge both the chains And her attempts to save u but the more u dodge her attempts to save u the more distraught she gets which means her song hets more frantic which means the chains go wild. if u cut thru a chain it has the consistency of an octopus tentacle and will bleed strangely enough, but it will hurt the siren and count towards u fuckin Killing This Thing

also her familiars are little seagulls in sailor suits. they swoop at you to try to get you to fall over and drown 😳 in buggys magical girl transformation i think itd be cute if some seagulls fly around him tying the little ribbons together for him lol. foreshadowing! anyways he’d probably become a witch after realizing even when hes trying to help someone and use his wish for good it will always end up hurting someone else and himself even worse than he intended. which results in a witch that hurts everyone it tries to help and cannot control the harm it causes😦 anyways um madoka magica causes me so much emotional destruction

I entered my room, throwing my backpack on the bed while taking off my shoes, letting out a little moan of relief at having my feet free and on my soft carpet. I had just arrived from shopping at a thrift store, in the company of my boyfriend, who since the morning was trying to convince me to go buy new clothes.

“You realise I could buy you new clothes, right?” He repeated those words he had been saying since early, while he leaned against the door frame, following me with his eyes all over the room as I changed into something more comfortable to be in my apartment.

“And you realise that I've already told you it is unnecessary?” I replied, giggling while tying my hair, before approaching him and giving him a small kiss on the lips.

I looked at all my outfits lying on the bed, proud of myself. Despite having done them in a hurry, blinded by the excitement, the clothes looked like something out of a fashion catalogue to me. I sighed, going into the bathroom to shower before Elijah picked me up to take me to the compound.

After I finished my shower, while I was getting dressed, I heard Elijah's voice outside the room, looking for me. I yelled at him I was in the bathroom, and to wait a few seconds for me to finish getting ready. When I was ready, a few -many- minutes later, we headed to his home, not without first having my backpack, where I had my clothes.

Upon arriving at the compound, Freya welcomed me with a hug, just like Hayley and little Hope, who only clung to my legs so as not to fall, as she was still learning to walk more than three steps.

"Okay, it's showtime, ladies," I announced them, carrying Hope, and heading to a room. The witch and the hybrid helped me to organise the little show that I had been planning two days ago. In less than an hour, everything was ready, and we gathered the family around the fountain, waiting to see my creations.

“Well, everybody is aware of the clothes I bought yesterday, and you all know how they looked because I sent a photo to the group chat I created,” I explained, as I walked to the room where the clothes were “Now you are going to observe how they look now,” I closed the doors to change as quickly as possible.

As I walked through space, I noticed their gazes on me. Hayley and Freya applauded, making very nice comments, prompting the other Mikaelson to do so. I could detect a flash of sorrow on Rebekah's face at the drastic change of clothes, and the smile on Kol's face was not fooling anyone who knew him well.

"I want to see another one!" Freya said, inviting me to keep up the little fashion show. So time passed, I modelled all my dresses to the vampires, who stared and applauded saying nothing, only Klaus and Kol released some jokes or laughs at the endless comments of Hayley and Freya. Even Hope was giggling and clapping, seeing her entire family do it.

Alright so for starters, I'm an infp! I'm a generally well-mannered person with people I meet for the first time, borderline sweet and awkward at the same time. I like not to overinvest in first meetings with people and sometimes I think I am somewhat defensive of myself. My emotions always show on my face, both the good and the bad ones. So if someone does say something that I find offensive or whatnot, it SHOWS. I generally hate rude and offensive people all together, as well as people who are vulgar if we're not well acquainted first.

I'm not good at starting conversations and I usually just tend to listen to my friends talk most of the time. It's not like I have nothing to say but I really like listening to my favorite people ramble on about things they love or generally talk about their lives. Im a pretty good listener and I am always objective, even with my family. I won't hold back and I will give you my honest opinion in every case. I always try to see from all perspectives, maybe that's why I'm often somewhat indecisive.

That being said, I really don't shut up about things I love or my hobbies. I'm usually the mood maker of the group as I hate conflict and tension. I am a very sarcastic and cynical person in general and that reflects on my humor, which can vary from vulgar to very dark and inappropriate. Yes, the type of person that will try to hold in their laughter cause I made a mental joke to a funeral. I love witty, stimulating and deep conversations. I'm not that big on casual chitchat but it's okay most of the time I guess.

I'm the personification of open-minded and im also quite opinionated and I can back up my arguments if needed but I tend to avoid getting into heated conversations cause again, my mind reads it as tension. I love being around friends doing nothing and everything but most of the time, I find alone time to be very healing for my mind and soul. I find authenticity and weird little quirks that people have extremely attractive. I'm somewhat stubborn as well.

I also used to have stress and anxiety issues, not anything serious but enough that I had trouble sleeping at night. It was just a few years ago that I decided to not care about every single thing and have a more of a "fuck that" approach in life and honestly, I've never imagined that it would be so liberating. I regained my confidence, physically and mentally, it was an empowering process! I really do believe that self-exploring and healing is the no1 most important thing that someone can do. Love yourself first and foremost and fck what anybody thinks.

So, moving on xD I am a romantic and soft deep down, even though I try not to show sad emotions when around people. But you can be sure I cry at random rescuing dog videos, or videos with people helping each other. I love humanity but hate it at the same time? 😂 Idk if that makes sense, it is what I feel lol I love to learn new random stuff! I'm currently studying linguistics and uni and I aim to be a translator or interpreter, cause i love languages and the cultural differences that come with it. Hence my undying love for music of different genres and languages! Music relaxes me and I couldn't imagine going on without it for more than 3 days. While I do tend to listen to kpop which is more upbeat and experimental, I also LOVE Latin music and rock. I love love traveling around the world! My hobbies include drawing which I'm self taught, fashion and creative writing! I tend to daydream A LOT during the day and so many ideas pop up in my head. I love exploring other cultures' religions and beliefs as well as mythology. I always found it fascinating. I love plants as well! My room is basically a garden xD I also love mystical but also borderline creepy and gory stuff xD I call skulls "pretty" the same way I would call a puppy "cute" 🤣 I'm aware οf that but I can't help but enjoy the look of horror in people's faces xD

oh, I really enjoy observing people as well! Not in a weird way! Their mannerisms, the way they speak, their features. I also love thriller and horror movies the most as well as dark social drama ones. You know, with murders, suicides etc I like how in even the tiniest ways they depict our society as people and frankly, it's sad but I try to be optimistic and keep a positive approach in life. I also really appreciate stand-up comedy xD

Closing up this huge essay, some last things xD I, and I cannot stress this enough, am unable to flirt. Like at all. I can't even maintain eye contact for more than two Seconds. I wish I was kidding. Rean: Rean is once again moderately more interesting than he was before, but still the least interesting person in the game. I guess he’s got some guilt that’s actually justified now, that’s cool? 

I ship him with Crow, not because the pairing really appeals to me that much, but because being shipped with Crow would totally piss Rean off and I find that extremely funny

His relationship with Altina is the best relationship he’s ever had with a female character and it is 100% because she’s the only girl he’s never ship teased with

(I don’t have an issue with the concept of ship tease itself, I have an issue with Rean-ship tease because 1. I still truly do not understand why so many girls like him so much and 2. None of it will ever canonically go anywhere)

Juna: I like Juna. I realised early on that she and Kurt remind me of Estelle and Joshua, without being carbon copies, and that’s good. I also think her relationship with Rean was really interesting - ‘I don’t know how to feel about you because you saved my life, but it also wouldn’t have needed saving if it weren’t for your country’s actions, which you’ve played a major role in - but now I’m being forced to confront that you’re a human being too’ is a really complicated situation for her. It’s a lot more interesting than ‘I don’t like you because you accidentally got a face full of chest’, Alisa

I also really liked using her, I ended up loading her with the Platinum Pecky Medal and defensive stuff, and she was a wall, she took an S-craft from Arianrhod in her stride! My buff girl!

Kurt: Kurt had a lot to live up to, seeing as his brother is my favourite minor character. And oh does he succeed, Kurt is my favourite of New VII, he’s a good straight man, he’s great in battle, I like his arc, I like his friendship with Juna, I like Kurt

Altina: I was not sure about Altina just... being a student now. But damn if she didn’t have the best character arc in the game. I only did her final bonding event on a whim, but it’s the best one I saw. My girl Allie deserves the damn world

I really, truly believe those three have a bond as well, they’re very well written as a group. This was a problem I had with Old VII, the fact that so many of them just... didn’t have relationships with each other. How do, say, Fie and Machias feel about each other? I have no idea. But this group has a fantastic dynamic and it makes that ending so much more effective

It’s like I praised Crossbell for, really - having a small core group is much more manageable in terms of giving them all equal screen time and getting me to care about them

Musse: Uh, kind of one-note and annoying, honestly. I don’t hate her or anything, but like... she’s either Being Mysterious or Hitting On Her Teacher (I hate it I hate it so much). It’s just hard to care about someone who’s clearly so fake, I guess? I’m definitely interested in her, but like... I don’t really like her

Ash: Poor boy. I thought Ash was such an interesting character (and man do I love having someone around who does not like Rean, and never really changes his mind about it). Ash is very well done imo

Alisa: Alisa is good when the issue is her family drama, and is so goddamn boring when it comes to Rean. Nothing new there

Elliot: I love his little ponytail I love it he’s so cute I want to hug him so bad

Laura: Winner of the ‘best new outfit’ award (was never that fond of her war outfit, but this one is perfect). Still good, but not notably so. I feel so bad for Laura, she tries so hard to matter, but she’s by far the character you’d have the easiest time lifting out of the game

And while I love Elliot... same situation really. You could go back to the start and have one character named Elliaura who likes swords and music and has two big-shot dads, and you wouldn’t lose much

Machias: Took down Rufus, yeah, destroy your best friend (boyfriend)’s evil family! Winner of the ‘worst new outfit’ award, AGAIN. Also winner of ‘dorkiest S-craft’. I did his final bonding event first, and according to Playstation trophies it’s the least popular one! Stop sleeping on my boy Machias guys, I know he was annoying in the first game but I love him :(

Gaius: Special award to Gaius for finally being interesting! Boy’s a Gralsritter now, did not see that coming!

And of course it happened off screen. Because god forbid interesting stuff happen to Gaius when we’re actually around

Jusis: Wasn’t sure how to feel about his newly close friendship with Millium because I was concerned that I was meant to ship it (by far my least favourite thing about this franchise is that that was not an unreasonable concern, as it wouldn’t even be the most inappropriate relationship in this game alone). Very, very glad it was confirmed sibling-y (not that it’s stopped them before). He didn’t really get to do anything else, sadly, but he’s good as always

Aurelia is a fun character and I enjoy her as the principal. Want to see her fight Cassius

I love my girl Annabelle, but she’s the only reason I didn’t get all the character profiles (how was I meant to know I could even go to the highway at that point hmmm Falcom!?)

They picked a good selection of returning Thors students. Even Dorothee isn’t as annoying as she used to be. Hilarious that she’s the only one who didn’t get a profile

Juna gave a great big speech about how awesome the SSS are and namedrops everyone EXCEPT WAZY! My FAVOURITE Crossbell character! So offensive!

Oh speaking of offensive I took Machias to the Mishy show and was told he and Rean did a Mishy dance but they didn’t show it, what the hell-

Playable Olivier! Olivier back story! I could write a goddamn essay on why Olivier is such a great character. Glaring at you Falcom

Ada Grant is wonderful and I want better things for her

Rufus is a damn great villain just because of how much sense his actions suddenly make when you know that one little detail of him not actually being Jusis’s brother

I hate Cedric but like, in a way where I’m having fun hating him. That little bitch

I still cannot stand Elise. Something I realised playing this game is that one of the things that stops the Estelle and Joshua relationship from being as weird as it could be is that they don’t look at all alike, it’s very clear they’re not related in the slightest. Elise and Rean look like they really could be siblings, and come to think, so do Lloyd and Cecile. Which is also teased, to a lesser extent. It would be so much less uncomfortable if they just swapped Elise and Alfin’s models ngl (though still not good)

inb4 the final plot twist of the whole series is that Estelle and Joshua actually were biological siblings all along

This game looks so much better than its predecessors. Having the models being a little rounder and softer looking makes it look much more like an updated version of the original style than the complete departure that was CS1 and 2. Every time there was a flashback, Rean would be like ‘back then...’ and I’d feel compelled to say out loud ‘when we were shiny, and looked bad!’

‘Evil ancient magic corrupts people into making them do bad things!’ is... honestly a bit of a cop out that I did not expect from this series 

I found Rean telling Patrick ‘leave room for Aidios when dancing with my sister’ extremely funny. Rean would totally be a Christian summer camp counsellor in the real world

I honestly would have enjoyed it a lot more if Alfin decided to cause a scandal and have her first dance with Elise, but we can’t have such luxuries I suppose

When you get that book on dystopias, very clever to put the author on the last page. Seeing the name Gideon gave me such a start

Racquel was easily my fav new location

Leeves > Trista no doubt, maybe I’m just biased because it looks a lot like the village I grew up in but it’s just such a nicer design

Also the branch campus > main campus purely for being smaller, making the filler segments between field trips more bearable 

I prefer the longer but fewer chapters set-up, I think

There’s so many sad faces in this write up :( 

Back when I played Sky SC, I said something about how one of the themes is ‘you are not defined by your trauma’. I now think it would be more accurate to say that the theme of all the games (but especially the Sky arc) is ‘don’t let your worst experiences define you’

Because there are characters who define themselves by their traumas and worst experiences - and those characters are all villains, or miserable, or both. Like, they don’t phrase it as such, but the requirement to be an Ouroboros enforcer is ‘have trauma and define yourself by it’

And both Joshua and Renne’s arcs are about learning not to do that

Equally, the idea that ‘it’s much easier to not to define yourself by your trauma when you have a good support system that wants the best for you’ is a big theme as well

I just think that’s a really interesting idea for a JRPG series to tackle, idk

1. Spy Kids

listen i use to watch this like nine times a month as a kid, and i was obsessed with everything, the gadgets, the weird hybrid things in the third movie? yeh those haunted my dreams and i loved them!

2. The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

i honestly don’t remember much about this movie besides like, baby me having  crushes on sharkboy and lavagirl, it maybe being a dream for the blonde kid and being scared of george lopez’ floating head?? was that a thing or did i just dream about that lol but it was def a favorite as i remember watching it a shit load

3. Twitches

listen. i love this movie so much. and i remember so many specific scenes in it too - the don’t double dip scene, the outfit swap, how the met, the pretty mom  which says a lot about how many times i’ve watched it lol. after my first watch i wanted to be a witch so badly and i also wanted a twin. they are probably responsible for my oc twin witch nova bennet lmao. it was always a treat to see those two in anything, whatever shows or movies they were in i made sure to watch

4. The Parent Trap

sigh. god i love her. anyway, this movie was fucking amazing to my young brain and it was a go-to rewatch for years. i remember almost everything from it. and it make me eat oreos with peanut butter for months.

5. Matilda

i love this so freaking much! as a kid (and now lmao) i wished i was as smart and magical as matilda. i wanted to be better than my family and lowkey wanted to be adopted too, and the ending will always get to me because matilda didn’t have to give up her powers to get that happy home and neither did they go away when she finally got it. it’s just an amazing watch. hmm lowkey reminds me of harry potter. only with a better ending parent wise.

6. Barbie and the 12 dancing princesses

i had a moment in my childhood where i just binge watched all of the barbies movies but this one was probably my favorites cause i love DANcing. barbie is a bad bitch okay, if i had the attention span to watch movies i would watch barbie as an adult without any shame (love how i can watch 10 episodes of a tv show but can’t sit still during a movie)

7. Narnia

listen. this stupid movie is why i love escapism stories. where we get to see the characters explore a different world other than our own? and they make me their queen??? sign me the fuck up you funky lion. where the hell is my wardrobe??? i’m still waiting.

8. Karate Kid

was i alive when the first movie came out? no, i wasn’t even a thought on my mother’s brain. are these movies oscar worthy?? uhhh no probably not. have i watched the youtube series on it and all of the movies, including the one with jaden smith mutiple times? you fuckin betcha! these movies were just.... played on repeat with me and i don’t even remember most of the plot. i was honestly so fucking gay for the hawk girl tho, like i watched it so many times my dvd is all scratched up skksks

9. Stuart Little

this movie was a fucking trip looking back on it tbh, like he got a tiny car and girlfriend and everything lool, but like, i fucking loved it as a kid. i think i have like all three movies dvds. it was just a really comforting movie to watch for some reason. it was cute and heart warming.

10. The Princess Diaries

this is my shit. ok. i loved both movies so much. i raised my foot for months after (but like, pretty sure the only person i had to kiss was like, my arm) mia is such a mood, especially that scene where her hair broke a fucking brush. you have no idea how many things my own hair broke, it was just very relatable. expect the part where her dad was secretly royalty and she was a princess and had a BAMF grandma and soon became a queen with chris pine as a lover. but hEY, we can’t all be that lucky.

Winx Club Season 2 Thoughts (4kids) Part 2

Since my thoughts are a bit scattered with this season and the post was getting long, I decided to separate them in two posts. You can find Part 1 here. This part picks up from 2x14:

- Ugh, pls no. Diaspro. Dammit.

- She’s making laws about fashion? What are this girl’s parents doing and why are they allowing this? She has them as confirmed later on in the episode so why is she making laws when she’s apparently not responsible enough to be given that power?

- Ooh, weather spells. Those look really good. I already said this but I am so happy that we get to see them have classes and learn new magic. It’s really cool and I am so totally here for it!

- Why isn’t Stella going with them?

- I can’t stand Sky’s parents. They are absolutely terrible. And the way Samara shouted at Bloom... jeez, rude! I know you’re a queen, but my god, have some fucking manners, will you? Sky turned out spectacularly considering these two are his parents. (So I might have a theory that he’s adopted.) Probably because they just left him to the servants to look after him which was most certainly his lucky day bc he was raised by good people. I am not even sorry for all this bitching. Erendor and Samara are the fucking worst and you can’t convince me otherwise.

- Also, to keep at this, he was about to introduce his girlfriend to them and they’re just there like “I hope he falls in love with Diaspro again”. Why are you such horrible people and parents?

- Seriously, Bloom? Why would he want to introduce you to his parents if he wanted Diaspro? Ugh, I can’t anymore with this.

- Oooh, nice! I see Bloom and Flora have learned some things in Griselda’s classes. And Brandon didn’t turn into shredded cheese so that was great too.

- Why the sudden change in Diaspro? I mean, not that I mind. She could be such an awesome character if they would just give her a proper arc and character development, and let it stick too. It was just weird. Might have been just Flora’s influence. I would love to believe that. And the fact that Diaspro isn’t heartless and actually listened when the Wrong Righters put things in perspective for her. Btw can we talk about how amazing her design is and how beautiful she is? (Also, Chatta don’t encourage her.)

- Even Sky admitted his parents are terrible. “They’re not usually that nice”? Boy, I feel so sorry for you, Sky.

2x15:

- Damn, I love how Musa defeated Stormy! And those were the runes Palladium taught them about. That’s awesome! I love!

- Wow. That was some makeover there with Stormy.

- Brandon is giving out kisses? And Stella agreed to that? Wow, okay. Stella is feeling very generous today. XD

- Poor Musa! It’s hard when parents are being like that. I get that he is still grieving but damn, that doesn’t mean he should make her cry. And threatening her to withdraw her from Alfea and her friends. That’s just cruel.

- Ahh, some clarity has finally been shed into the princess matter. So she’s unofficially a princess. Okay. I got it now.

- Aww, that dream seemed pretty bad. Poor baby. And that part about “everything in me is music” and her resolve to do what she loves... I’m fucking crying! *sobs* Why is it that Musa and Layla always get the rawest arcs?

- Wow, Codatorta is all black-tie? XD

- Seriously, how did Stella let her go out on stage with that outfit?

- Why do they always have to use their parents against them? I am so mad about this. But awwwwwwwww at the singing part! And look, Riven is hyping people up. And he met her dad. And her dad is okay with her singing. Awwww! (Just so you know, I am still crying.)

- You gotta love the animation mistakes, though. Faragonda started out next to Saladin, then she was a seat away, and then she moved over an entire row. Nice one! Why is no one looking for continuity?

- Aww, Stella and Layla hugging Musa. And then the song with Stella was cute!

2x16:

- I couldn’t find the 4kids version of 2x16 (meaning I couldn’t be bothered to look for it more extensively because it was late and, of course, I will watch the creepiest episode right before going to bed) so I watched the RAI dub and I won’t be going into any detail here. This is pretty much the one episode that has been sealed into my brain ever since I was little. I always loved it because it was so nicely creepy (though, I am not sure how exactly I handled it when I was a child (I’m not exactly big on horror if you haven’t grasped it already since the episode isn’t really that scary but I still find the part with the “three sisters” kinda scary with the way they talk and Winx being cornered by them)). I liked the way the legend was built and that with the mirrors cracking was actually kinda cool. Also, I love the moment everyone starts fawning over Winx’s “costumes” and Mitzi can’t get any attention. And yeah, good lesson that the way you read the signs may not be true to what they’re actually pointing to.

2x17:

- (I already talked quite a bit for 2x17 and 2x18 last year when I rewatched them so I will not go into that much detail about them either... Or will I?)

- And even despite that, I absolutely can’t not mention that scene with Griffin and Faragonda in the beginning of 2x17 bc it is so goddamn dramatic and extra and Griffin just teleported to Alfea to make a 20-second scene (I counted them because, yes, I am that obsessed with this scene) and then disappeared again. I love!

- Lol, Ediltrude and Zarathustra, I can’t. They are so obviously sisters. I don’t get it, though. If Cloud Tower doesn’t take well to intruders, why did it let the Trix take over it and was kinda helping them even before they started sending energy in its veins? Is it because they’re witches and studied there so it doesn’t consider them intruders? Also, I love how the thing about Cloud Tower being a living organism has never come up before nor did it ever again.

- Aww, poor Mirta. But hey, she and Lucy finally fixed that friendship. That was actually kinda cute. I liked it. Lucy didn’t have to be such a bitch even if she was feeling betrayed but I actually get it so... All is well when it ends well, right?

- Stormy really doesn’t know how to manage her emotions, does she? Someone get her some therapy, please. She’s going to explode if she keeps bottling everything up.

- Aww, poor Lucy. The way Stormy blasted her. I feel really bad for her. And she was so scared (rightfully so). Somebody help her. (and get her therapy too)

- I am not really a fan of the catfight spell idea. I think they could’ve just let Winx disagree simply because they disagreed. They are friends but they can have different opinions. They don’t have to be under a spell to have a reason to argue.

- Oh, so Griffin can sense there’s someone at her door but she can’t fucking tell when some other shit is happening at her school. Makes total sense.

- Poor Lucy, though. She was so scared.

- What the heck was Stella doing anyway? She was just sitting around without doing shit. Was that the genius plan, hon?

- Okay, why did Bloom decide she could handle the Trix on her own when all of Winx couldn’t really beat them together?

- Yeah, Griffin can put a spell that the Trix can’t get through around the Heart of Cloud Tower but she can’t send her own energy into its veins to make Cloud Tower itself kick them out. Makes perfect sense.

- Layla and Musa actually teaming up with the witches was really cool. And they would’ve won too if the Trix didn’t get the statues to fight for them. (I actually liked the witch lounge btw.)

- Seriously, look at the Trix’s powers. How do Winx keep getting away from them? Darcy can legit blind people with that optical darkness spell. How have they not won with ease yet? But yeah, why destroy her immediately when we can wait for her friends to show up and save her? Sounds good.

2x18:

- “Is that Miss Griffin?” Can’t you see? Of course, it is.

- I gotta say that at least she was smart enough not to put the Codex with the Heart. Because as we saw, that was way too easy to figure out

.- “Forget about them” Yeah, so they can try and kill you. Nice one, Flora!

- Why is Stella so bitchy in these episodes? What is the problem, Stella? Why can’t you just chill? Aaaand... Now they’re trapped. Great!

- Can we talk about the fact that Griffin’s plan saved all their lives? So yeah, “wicked”. Right. Never mind they would’ve died otherwise. Although, why the hell didn’t she take the other teachers with her? Surely that would’ve made getting control of the tower back easier. Why doesn’t anyone do anything smart dammit?

- So Darcy can make herself look like Griffin but she can’t make herself sound like Griffin? Is that it? That’s what I’m getting from this scene because she didn’t try to talk to Lucy and Mirta.

- “We’re in the classroom that belongs to that weird witch teacher.” Which one? I think they all fall under that category so you’re going to have to be a bit more specific.

.- Poor witches. Getting eaten by their own school. I hope Griffin will get them some therapy after that.

- Oh yeah, now the Trix are stronger. Even though they were losing against Layla and Musa in the previous episode.

- How will going back to their dorm rooms help when the entire tower is going insane? This doesn’t make any sense.

- Oh, look! Just a simple deduction was all it took to figure out the location of the Codex. Easy peasy, right?

- Yeah, let’s do convergence when we don’t fucking know what we’re trying to do. Nice one, you guys! Also, poor Discorda. But why does Cloud Tower have a pixie? This is so weird. Though, kinda good I guess since they’d been trying to make out the witches all evil and having a pixie there is a step in the right direction.

2x19:

- Yeah, just keep blasting without focusing your energy. ‘Cause that’s totally effective. Also, ugh, why Avalon again?

- Aww, Bloom saw Marion and Oritel. And of course she doesn’t remember the dark force in her dream. It would’ve been so easy.

- Why the hell would Bloom listen to Locket, you know? (I mean, she had a point about Locket trying to look into people’s hearts but still.)

- Poor Timmy. He doesn’t know what to do and now that. At least he’s not mad at Bloom. (In all fairness, it wasn’t her fault.)

- And that makeover didn’t do much good. But of course not, when Avalon lied to them about what they should do.

- Bloom, I know you’re not yourself, but for the love of everything sacred, stop destroying the books! This is hurting me!

- Damn, she got shrunk. And is still causing trouble.

- Oh, that chase in the pages of the book was actually kinda cool.

- I think Winx should have just put their everything into stopping her earlier. i know they didn’t want to fight her but it was obvious they wouldn’t be able to get through to her and that she was spelled big time.

- That with the pixie kiss was kinda weird but cute. And yeah, sure, Bloom is grateful to Locket for sticking with her but still won’t listen to her about Avalon. Will it kill you to be a little more mindful of the man?

2x20:

- Okay, that vacation idea was so random. Although it looks like it was necessary. They just didn’t stop fighting.

- Yeah, sure the boys can’t socialize. Who is even watching to make sure that they won’t? Please.

- Ugh, Avalon, the absolute bitch. Of course he’s pretending to be poisoned.

- Aww, that Riven and Sky friendship moment was really cute. And Sky lying to him about Musa but then hitting the actual tree Riven was warning him about. XD And Layla beat them both, lol.

- Palladium blushing like that at Avalon. Hmm... I wonder what he needed that love potion for. I hope he knows that that isn’t exactly ethical.

- Okay, so how the hell did they have time to sew their suits together? That just doesn’t make sense but okay. At least they stopped fighting.

- And of course, why the hell would anyone tell them that such a thing as Charmix exists? That is totally not relevant. Not to mention that they should’ve gotten it earlier. Bloom should have gotten hers back in season 1 when she learned who she was and accepted it and Musa should have gotten her at the concert in Red Fountain. But of course, that only appears now. I mean, makes total sense.

2x21:

- Yeah, it’s a realm free of magic but because your Gloomix multiplies your magic, you’ll still have some. That’s just... not how it works. If it’s a realm free of magic, there shouldn’t be any magic. Otherwise, it simply is a realm that consumes your powers but if you can find a way to keep them above a certain level, you can still have them.

- Okay, but if I was Layla, I would feel bad about Stella feeling bad but I wouldn’t blame myself. She couldn’t have known. It’s not that she’s bad at friendship. But hey, at least Stella told her how she feels and she got her Charmix.

- Okay, yeah, Darcy has the power of mindcontrol but they still haven’t won. Yeah, makes perfect sense.

- Aww, it was sweet of Brandon to talk to Musa about Riven. And she told him how she felt and got her own Charmix. That was cute.

- “My lips kinda hurt.” Smooth one, Brandon.

- And they’re at the edge of a cliff now. Damn what a (literal) cliffhanger of an ending.

- Oh, no. Poor Layla just fell off the cliff like that. And now she can’t climb back.

2x22:

- Well, at least the Charmix reloads itself quickly. Even if it also gets exhausted quickly.

- Aww, Layla also got her Charmix. That was actually a very heartfelt moment. It almost made me cry.

- And Tecna finally admitted her feelings for Timmy. Now if only Flora can do the same with Helia.

2x23:

- Aww, the pixies are sick. Poor babies.

- Real Avalon at last. Fucking finally. Also, that spell was super freaky but it’s got me thinking about what you’d have to do to perform it... And now I’m getting ideas here.

- Oh, they’re getting special training for the Charmix now? Never mind that they weren’t even told that thing existed. Makes so much sense. (I don’t know why I’m surprised anymore.)

- I know Faragonda was trying to encourage Flora but it felt more like she was scolding her and was being disappointed by her tbh.

- Awww, Griselda said she’s proud of Flora! That is so cute! Also, I love how even Griselda can see that Helia is so into Flora but Flora herself can’t.

- Oh, pixies are born from the flower of life? That’s... kind of weird but okay.

- Flora finally told him! Great! I can’t help it at the moment when she yelled after him and then was like “Opps, he heard me. What do I do now?” XD And she also got her Charmix. That’s gotta be one of the best days for her.

- You mean Faragonda never asked to see the letter she sent to Avalon even though she is well aware Darkar is out there and is doing literally everything to get his hands on the Codex? My god, what epic dumbassery, I can’t. Seriously, they could’ve just handed him the Codex, it wouldn’t have been much worse than what they’re doing now.

- What does he want? Gee, I don’t know. The Trix were after Bloom and Avalon’s been preying on Bloom since the very beginning (and they even figured out he was the one who turned her evil) but what the hell could he want? Beats the hell out of me. At least Tecna finally put it together. And, of course, it is too late.

- Poor Stella, running around with that glass of water like that.

2x24:

- Aww, the pixies want to go too. That’s... probably not the best idea but it’s not like they can do anything about it.

- Poor Brandon! I think Sky would be scared, too, if he’d been through what happened to Brandon. (Not that he wasn’t already. XD)

- Tecna a few episodes ago: “Just because I come from a technology-based realm doesn’t mean that I don’t have emotions.” Tecna in this ep: “Consider me your new computer.” Amazing.

- Aww, that dragon was kinda cool. Too bad it tried to kill them.

- Oh, look! Flora’s got this! Nice! And we saw her Charmix.

- Brandon probably shouldn’t have said that about Sponses (did I even get his name right?) But they were in luck there with Sky’s attack taking out both Amentia and the guard.

- Okay, Stella’s plan wasn’t completely solid but they still pulled off that emergency take-off so... that’s okay.

- And Bloom is dark now. He just literally sent darkness into her heart, wtf.

2x25:

- Oh, damn! The Trix really upgraded these monsters. But now they’re drained, I kinda feel bad for them. I know they’re evil but dammit, they worked for their rewards and they aren’t going to get anything because Darkar is like that. Why is he so obsessed with Bloom? This is getting creepy again.

- Awww, Riven is being so supportive and such a team player! I love this! Can we let this fucking stick goddammit?!

- Oh, damn! Helia absolutely pulled off that rescue! Nice!

- Awwwwww, Griselda being there like “Our kids” is literally the most adorable thing ever! I love. And thank fucking god Faragonda finally decided to go help. It was about damn time. (Especially considering the stupidity with Avalon. (I am still not over that.))

- Hey, the convergence is working this time! Cool!

- Aww, Saladin can’t go with them bc of health issues. :/ (Though, pretty convenient that they had to take Codatorta considering what happened later on.)

- That goodbye was so cute! Brandon with that cheesy line! XD And Helia and Flora’s first kiss! But hey, what do you mean Tecna and Timmy don’t get a kiss? I know they already kissed once but give them a proper goodbye at least. And I am absolutely ready to cry over Riven and Musa!!!! He finally admitted his feelings! And that hug! I also liked the Layla and Sky moment, however short it was.

- Damn, Kerborg is... That thing. I liked him more as a... bat (thingy?). And they are in trouble but at least the teachers showed up on time this time. (kind of)

2x26:

- Yeah, “completely under control”, sure.

- “The ultimate power couple”? Um... Ew?!

- And they’re splitting up. But eh, it all works out so... good for them.

- I gotta admit I am not a fan of that thing with the colors that Stella did. It felt like she couldn’t be useful for anything else so they just shoved that in there. Nice one, you guys. Also, what do you mean that they don’t have straight As? After the shit they go through, how can anyone write them any mark different than A tbh? I mean, they saved the universe. What more do you want from them?

- The boys are catching up with them, too. Nice.

- “His confidence is bigger than his abilities,” Well, yeah, you’re not wrong there. XD Also, aww, damn! :/ They just killed Kerborg. So sad! (Alexa play Despacito.)

- Oh, damn! That Trix convergence is... creepy. But kinda cool. I like it.

- Riven sacrificed himself for Musa! (Could’ve just pushed her out of the way but anyway.)

- And Sky dropped the L word. And it had the desired effect. His speech was actually rather cute. I liked that part about him feeling the goodness of her heart when she healed him back in Red Fountain.

- Griffin and Faragonda’s shield is holding up well. Their convergence is also super powerful.

- Speaking of convergence, that was some amazing sync between Winx. And they wiped him off the face of the universe. I love how nobody is talking about the fact that they just killed a guy. Granted a very possessed guy, but still.

- Aww, Faragonda and Griffin toasting together was so cute. “Griffy”. I can’t. XD Same for Codatorta and Knut arm wrestling.

- I am so happy for Layla and that she finally has friends. Also, look at her being all matchmaker with Riven and Musa. Aww, and Piff said her first word!

- Tecna and Timmy and Helia and Flora were so cute! And of course we can’t forget about Stella and Brandon who are the king and queen of cheesy romance. XD (I love them! They are so made for each other.)

- Aww, Bloom gave Kiko little wings! That was so adorable. Also, good to see him again. And I do believe that was her first kiss with Sky (honestly, I don’t pay much attention to them). But they just had to hijack the photo like that.

This season was definitely better than I expected. Did it have a shitton of stuff that didn’t make sense? Well, yes. But was it engaging? Mostly. I would’ve loved it more if Avalon and Darker weren’t pissing me off so much but there was some solid action and heartfelt moments. Also, Layla is really cool and I’m glad they decided to include her and that she found her place in the group. I don’t really love the Charmix as much as I used to when I was little but damn if the Gloomix doesn’t still rock hard! And you gotta love the actual classes we got to see! So I actually liked this quite a lot.
