Lemonverse Week Day 3: Fave Lemonville Location

I was kind of torn between a few locations for this one but the candy shop is the one I had the most vivid image of in my mind

Shi was grateful to have ordered an iced latte at the cafe next to the book store he worked at. He went in there at least once a week and usually tried a different drink each time. This time, he had ordered an iced latte, despite it being somewhat cold outside. As the blond haired waiter boy whom he normally saw handed him his drink, the witch accidentally grazed his fingers, ❝ Please wait, ❞ he said as he used his other hand to dig into his pocket for his wallet. He didn't tip on the bill earlier—he was the type who tipped in cash instead while the drink was delivered. Grabbing a five dollar bill, the redhead directly placed it into Ansel's hand. Bowing slightly, he expressed his thanks as he carefully took his drink, ❝ Thank you as always. ❞ [@aeviterncl]

Ansel was one of the only staff on shift today, actually being called in because they'd fallen short on scheduling. He never minded, living close enough that the short walk was more refreshing than a hassle. Shi, only knowing his name because he often frequented the bookstore next door, had sat down and ordered a coffee. No one else was in the small cafe, and Ansel not being the one to take his order still offered to run it out to him.

He took note that Shi ordered a different drink than the last time he was in, and every other time before that too. He wondered if the other male was going to work his way through the menu or stop when he found something that he actually cared for. Shi must not be overly picky, the blond decided, knowing half of the people that came in here couldn't do what he was doing. They can't even order a simple drink without having to make several altercations to it.

When Shi stopped him, he looked up, expecting him to request something from the blond, but instead placed a tip in his hand. "Thanks man, but keep it. I just work here for kicks." He said, setting the bill on the table. It was true that Ansel didn't really need the job, simply working as a way to pass time.

He debated on walking away then, but had been wondering something for a while and figure he might as well ask about it. "Hey, I was wonderin' something." He said, trying to grab the redhead's attention again. "Have you found anything on our menu that you actually like?" To be fair, Ansel was up for manager soon, and the feedback would be helpful in the future if he got it, but he also just felt like Shi seemed easy enough to talk to.

I think with Yor being so perceptive, she picks up on little things often (like we saw in ch 103). i believe this would impact loid more so than the usual person, because he is a spy and fakes every part of himself, so to be seen is simultaneously desirable and horrifying. like, it makes him torn between wanting to accept and reciprocate the love, or distancing himself so that it doesn't happen again.

thats mostly what the last panel is about, that dichotomy between 'omg this person noticed this about me, is this love' and 'oh shit this person noticed this about me, is this Doom'
