trying new things

does anyone else have this thing where they really want to try something new, but they just don't have the energy to do it?

Example: One of my friends wants to get me into Xdinary Heroes, since back when I used to listen to kpop, DAY6 was my all time favourite group (no I literally loved their music, I'd shuffle play their entire discography and sing along to all the choruses that I memorised. I can't choose a favourite album but go give "Unlock" some love, and "Shoot Me: Youth Part 1" too omg).

That was a bit of tangent (I am always willing to talk about my fav DAY6 songs haha)

Anyway, my friend is telling me all about their music (Xdinary Heroes) and the style and the members, and I really really want to listen to their music but I cannot get myself to do it for some reason.

I only really have the energy to listen to the 4 main playlists I have:

The morning playlist

The daytime playlist

The evening/going to bed playlist

The "don't die please keep going I promise this is all somewhat worth it" playlist

It's a bit annoying-

Hopefully soon I can get back into trying new things? I got into polyphia and the penumbra podcast through a (different) friend, so I do like recommendations when I have the capacity to take them!

i've had to indulge in christian scripture a lot for the past few months because personal life stuff and i need everyone to know that there's a book in the bible where king solomon goes on and on about how horny he is for his wife and it's SO SENSUAL and i didn't expect it at all (it's really beautifully written if anything but also sex funny. i put verses down below that invoked said feelings because its so wow)
