Katara had her Oh moment before exchanging a word with Jian Li, and while she gets over it in time (or, at least, convinces herself that she's not embarrassed by her initial reaction to him) this quasi-interaction haunts her for the first couple of days of their stay in Kyoshi Island.
It's just not fair that the place is full of gorgeous people! Or that he's not only beautiful, but also kind and awkward and respectful and dorky and—oh, La—she's in trouble.

I saw people talking about that scene where Yassen shot Max as a huge betrayal of Alex and it's kinda funny to me like yeah he involved Alex in a murder but also I cannot emphasise enough that Alex decided to join a criminal organisation. People have been telling him he'll need to kill for days now, Alex has watched them kill multiple people already, I get that it sucks for him but you cannot team up with a known killer and be that shocked when actually his secret extra mission was to kill

I wanted to try and find my headcanon of Roach's face because for some reason my brain decided that I couldn't keep writing my fanfic if I didn't know what I wanted him to look like beneath his mask... So obviously the full picture wasn't planned. (Also I went the easy way for the background because I remembered that I wasn't getting paid anyway so why make myself suffer)
I don't know if the design is definitive, but I find him cute. I made him Welsh, because why not. He can bond with Soap over why the fuck do the English exist.
Anyway they're gossiping about someone at the pub like the little shits they are. Also I don't know if it's obvious or not, but Roach has the mask sun-tan line. Ghost does too. Speaking of Ghost, he's on the other side of the table, looking like that :

#I think this may be a hot take but I believe Goemon's meant to be around 18 or so in Part 1#seeing his more emotional thought patterns and black and white moralistic thinking (unrelated to autism)#sorry i meant to write “in a way differing from typical autism and instead is an extension of his personality”#as well as his somewhat lack of wisdom on people and society and human nature as a whole#also he was 17 in the manga + other works so its not entirely out of the picture#and I therefore think his character and actions in Part 1 can be interpreted dramatically differently keeping this in mind#i think he compensates for the immaturity of his masters by doubling down on what he believes to be mature behavior#(once again unrelated to autism/autistic maturity; he lies about and downplays his true interests and lectures others on being mature)#sort of like a trauma response to the abuse he's had to endure#and he doesn't have the foresight to realize that “letting loose” won't make him like his masters#he's not grown but he's had adulthood thrust upon him and his childhood taken from him so he's just trying to survive by being an adult#he's not deliberately trying to be a jerk he's just afraid of the alternative#thank you for reading#lupin iii#lupin the third#lupin the 3rd#goemon ishikawa xiii#goemon

i've seen a few comments before (not on here, just in the past on other sites) frustrated and confused about why the oldest dream never talked to yoo joonghyuk. or anyone for that matter. why couldn't he just say something, anything at all? did he feel nothing as they suffered? couldn't he have helped somehow?
and there's a lot i could say about this and a lot of various layers and details and perspectives. but in the end it all comes down to this:
not a single one of us can talk to the characters in a book we're reading.

Ik its most likely bc they think he's hot but to me he is so. Teenager that hasn't hit his last growth spurt. He is very 5'7 16 year old.
