ugh so my one coworker I actually loved her she was like my work mom. but her name is Karen so maybe I should have known. well anyway there's this new girl we'll call allie and she's been hanging out nonstop with this other guy who works there we'll call him liam. Allie and Liam are both minors and keep coming back an hour or so after their shift ends to buy food and hang out. So I mentioned to Karen kind of jokingly, "imagine if you wanted to spend time with someone so you came back to where you work to do it" and she laughed and was like. "yeah i think liams flirting with her. but she doesn't know about it" and I was like ? And she was like "oh you don't know? Liams a girl" and I was like ? Oh? And I didn't know he was trans but it's not rlly my business yk. Anyway so Karen goes on this shpiel about how she doesn't know how to refer to him so she solely uses his name and won't use any pronouns at all. And I was like........well.....Liam seems to go by he/him pronouns......did you ask him? And she was like. oh I don't get it. ill just stick to using the name. and I'm just like.......girl it's really NOT that hard lmao
