Ego is such a classic manipulator. I noticed when he came to check on Peter, he says "I saw your girl stomp off a little earlier in quite a huff." instead of something probably more common(?) Like 'Did you and her have a fight?' etc. Like he's automatically focusing on Gamora's reaction, almost alluding to that it's all her fault. Despite seemingly not knowing what actually happened (I can't remember if he could already hear them fight since he's the literal planet or not) by already subtly placing the blame on Gamora, he further isolates Peter into thinking he can't trust her, or that she's a problem causer.

Agatha All Along deep dive: episode 9 part 2
(Wandavision entries: [1][2][3])
(AAA entries: ep1 [1][2][3][4] ep2 [1][2][3][4] ep3 [1][2][3] ep4 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][+1] ep5 [1][2][3][4][5] ep6 [1][2][3] ep7 [1][2][3][4][5][6] ep8 [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] ep9 [1][2][3][4][5][6])
I'm glad nicky came up with a cool new tune because according to period movies and shows greensleeves is the only song anyone ever knew
look at that meek little smile, ughhhh. nicky is like two days old and this asshole has already figured out he's the perfect prop for her murder sprees. and these poor women are calling her sister and are willing to help too.
the spell is te accipimus in circulum, we accept you in the circle, and yes that makes me cry a little. we accept you in our community. and the spell is yellow air magic, which sounds like the most empathic kind if Lilia is any indication.
that's interesting, you can't really tell that well from screencaps but go rewatch the scene, this witch is making mushrooms grow with yellow magic instead of green?? is it just a spell (she is holding a book) or have I been getting it all wrong and color has nothing to do with the type of magic one has?
or maybe??? the color depends on the coven you're in?? the salemites all had blue magic for example. and now that I think about it the stone circle is a protection spell but it's not red/orange.
the meaning of this scene is so glaring dear lord. agatha was never going to give these women a chance to prove that yes, there are people out there who could love and help and accept her. she has shut herself up to that possibility a long time ago.
and she stole the soup too. awful.
I've seen all the different theories about nicky needing to feed on witches too, or nicky needing soul sacrifices to survive because he's the son of death etc. we don't have enough evidence to prove anything yet, but personally I headcanon nicky as a totally normal kid, that makes this story even more tragic.
and aww that baby suckling on the little pudgy fist
nicky doesn't look that happy about what he's been asked to do, does he?
we establish that nicky was sickly (maybe he was born with some internal defect that rio temporarily patched up?) we also see him steal the bell agatha will use for her Road scam in the future.
and we meet yet another witch being kind and wanting to help.
agatha: I love this six year old so much I'm gonna make him accessory to murder
dO yOU ShaME YouR MOtHER
and the big fake gasp too. as usual this bitch has conned a whole community
like, she's convinced herself that other witches are bad and are after her WHILE relying on witches's good hearts to con and kill them. what sort of mental gymnastics???
color goes from yellow to purple. nicky waits outside while his mom commits murder, it's not a good look on agatha. completely fucked up, actually.
(I'm terrified that the goat will end up being an agent of mephisto or something idiotic like that, lemme tell you. I hope they're just keeping it for milk and company.)
and here's the million dollar question. nicky has seen his mom kill literally since he was born, and now he's old enough to start realizing what that means.
oooh I know that look, that's agatha when she's put on the spot. she avoids his gaze, she can't be sincere with him.
and of course she's teaching herself spells from a book. nerrrrrrd
nicky, bless his soul, appears to give it a good thought and then offers a practical suggestion. I guess he wouldn't mind to have a roof on his head and some friends too.
GREAT acting from kathryn here. the quick OH SHIT face followed by the super final NO, with her jaw so rigid. in typical agatha fashion, when she's upset she becomes avoidant.
this is evanora's legacy. despite agatha's immense love for nicky, she is passing all that pain down and inflicting it on him.
remember when she called billy a survivor? this is the greatest asset in her opinion, the one she wants to teach her son. the truth is, she is angry at witches because she is scared of them, she's scared of being targeted again. but look at that kid's dark circles, I can't believe she's making him sleep in the woods, sick as he is!
really really fantastic subtlety. agatha wants to sound wise and strong, but she looks scared, uncertain, guilty.
see how nicky looks at agatha while he sings? he's checking to see if she's noticing, because his mom likes music and likes his voice. he's afraid he has upset her and wants to make her smile. he tried to reason with her, and now he tries to soothe her. this is what happens when you have an immature parent, a child will want to help, they will try to fix things. they'll end up parenting their parent, and it should always be the other way round.
agatha takes the bait. she's relieved that the conversation has moved to a safer subject. but oh, this script is so good. this is a mostly innocent, mostly sweet remark, but with a possessive undertone. don't forget that you are mine, she says.
and still, the love is real. even in a fucked up situation like this, these moment of happiness are precious and genuine and will linger on. look at how adoringly nicky looks at his mom, she's literally the sun and center of his small world, and that's how agatha likes it: she created nicky because she needed someone who could be hers without any baggage or consequences. but it turns out that raising a child is not a cheat code for love, it's one of the most difficult, most significant and impactful decisions a human can make.

yours for the time being
summary: what happens when your academic rival of years, proposes an offer of fake dating? pure chaos.
pairing: gryffindor!jude bellingham x slytherin!reader
a/n: a little mini series coming your way! i'm so excited and got inspired by me rewatching the harry potter movies. anywho, enjoy my loves!
the other students at hogwarts never stood a chance when it came to jude bellingham and y/n y/l/n. for years, the gryffindor boy and slytherin girl were always found going head-to-head. sometimes to the point that nobody cared enough to get in the way or in between that. the pair had often expressed how they wouldn't be in each other's presence, had they not had mutual friends.
"yo y/l/n!" you peek down the hallway, seeing jude walking towards you. with the roll of your eyes, you swiftly start walking in the other direction, choosing to ignore him. jude huffs to himself and picks up his pace to be right behind you. laying a hand on your shoulder, he turns you to face him.
"i know you heard me calling you back there."
"yeah, i did. which is why i chose to walk in the other direction. also, get your filthy hand off me," you pushed his hand off your shoulder.
"listen, i need to talk to you."
"about what? how you're failing in charms?"
"you know damn well i'm top of the class."
"no the fuck you're not. it's funny you even think that."
"oh, i don't think. i know so."
"what do you want bellingham? you're wasting my time and i don't want to be late for class. you know how professor snape gets."
"i need you to fake date me."
staring at him wide eyed, your jaw practically dropped. "what the hell? that's possibly the worst idea you've ever had." you couldn't believe what you were hearing. fake date him? that was almost impossible.
"and you're sooo well known for your good ideas. just hear me out, this could benefit both of us."
"explain to me how," you crossed your arms, staring at the boy intensely.
"i can get lavender off of my back and you miss lonely, will finally have someone to date. you know since you have nobody."
"lavender? she wants you now?"
"a story for another day. seriously, you'll be in a relationship and maybe catch the attention of others," jude playfully pokes your arm, making you swat his hand away.
"it's not that i don't have anyone. i'm simply not interested, just like i'm not interested in your shitty deal."
"sure, if that's what helps you sleep at night. just think about it," jude throws you a wink and walks away to meet with harry and ron.
-
when lunch time finally rolled around, the great hall was packed with students from every house. unfortunately, all you could think of was jude's proposition. without wanting to admit it, the fake dating thing could work. there were lots of boys in the school that kept begging for a date or a chance to sweep you off. they'd all back off if you were officially in a public relationship.
"so y/n, i seen you and jude chatting it up earlier. what did he want?" draco looks up from his plate, questioning you.
"none of your business ferret."
"that was two years ago, let it go."
"never."
"if she doesn't want to talk about it, just leave it be," pansy comes to defend you. you smiled and reached your arm across the table, giving her hand a squeeze.
"see this is why she's my best friend."
"wow just yesterday i was your best friend," theo shakes his head with a disapproving look and a growing smirk.
"shut up theodore," you laughed, pushing his shoulder. jude's head snaps in the direction of your laugh. he knows it like the back of his hand. he doesn't know why seeing you with theodore makes his blood boil.
"mate, where's your head at?" ron pulls the boys attention back to the group. jude shakes his head, averting his eyes from you.
"he's too focused on our darling y/n."
"ew hermoine, don't call that snake 'ours'." hermoine is quick to hit harry's arm with disappointing look.
"stop talking about her like that. she's nothing like the rest of them. you'd know if you simply get to know her."
"yeah whatever. all slytherins are the same. don't you agree jude?" the silence was loud, leaving harry confused. "jude?" the gryffindor boy could care less about the conversation. jude gets up from his seat, ignoring the calls of his friends, heading straight for the slytherin table. he didn't even care about the wondering eyes of the other students.
"don't look now but your boy toy is heading this way."
"gross blaise, he isn't my-"
"fancy taking a walk with me?" jude asks, while holding a hand out to you. you looked up at him in disbelief.
"if i must," you get up, completely disregarding his outstretched hand. the two of you walked out of the great hall. jude lead the way outside, heading towards the lake.
"have you thought about my offer?"
"desperate much?"
"you didn't answer the question."
"yes bellingham. i have thought about your offer," you rolled your eyes and crossed your arms against your chest.
"and?" jude mimics you by crossing his arms against his chest as well.
"i have decided that it will benefit us both, but we need to lay some ground rules."
"how about you brainstorm some stuff and i'll do the same. we'll converse again at the three broomsticks after classes on friday," he didn't give you a chance to reply before walking away. jude bellingham was truly going to be the death of you.
-
jude didn't bother you anymore for the last couple of days. it was finally friday, meaning you guys were going to go over your ground rules for being fake lovers. once classes were over, you headed to the three broomsticks. the walk through hogsmeade was peaceful, just a little chilly. upon arriving, your eyes meet jude's and he sported a growing smirk.
"right over here baby," you can feel heat spreading across your face in embarrassment. although the pub was full of people who didn't care, you couldn't help but to be embarrassed. you sit in the chair across from the boy.
"don't do that."
"if we're gonna be fake dating, we have to sell it y/n," Jude leans over to whisper to you.
"a little heads up would've been nice jude," you shuffled around in your mini backpack to pull out your notebook. in it, you had all the stuff you wrote down for the pending agreement.
"here's a list of rules I came up with, feel free to add onto it or edit it how you like," jude takes the notebook, scanning over the words that were written on the page.
fake dating
pet names are okay but don't try to overdo it
touching is okay too (make it like natural)
always show up for each other's events (it isn't real if you don't)
don't under any circumstances... at all... get attached
"i wanna add one more thing but other than that, it's a deal," you wave him off and handed him a spare pen. allowing him to write what he wanted. jude slides the book back towards you, giving you a chance to read the last term.
"must go on dates?" you tilt your head in confusion. this was the last thing you'd ever think that he would write.
"well yeah, it has to look real. trust me lavender will not leave me alone if she even thinks that we're not truly dating."
"are you going to tell me about that now?"
"after you sign the paper."
"so dramatic," you quietly laugh to yourself, taking the pen from his outstretched hand and signing your name. handing the pen back to him, you eyed him as he signed his name next to yours. jude looked strangely calm about this whole thing. meanwhile, you were panicking on the inside because you would be closer to the boy than you've ever been in the past couple of years.
"we should seal the deal with a kiss," jude looked up from the book and grinned. that stupid boyish grin. you face dropped in annoyance. he loved to rail you up and seeing the effected he seemed to have on you.
"you're pushing it."
"c'mon, we're gonna have to kiss at some point." you rolled your eyes and leaned on your elbows, pushing yourself up to be in the middle of the table. jude meets you halfway and places a peck to your lips. his lips were soft like pillows. something that made your head spin. ignoring the tingling feeling you got from the small kiss, you sat back down with your arms crossed over your chest.
"i could kiss the pout right off your face."
"you're having way too much fun with this. now, spill the beans about lavender." you watched as the boy's face drops; it almost makes you want to laugh.
"okay, you know how lavender had a thing for ron, right?" you nodded your head, letting him continue his thought. "after they were together for a little bit. ron had gotten sick with poison and in the hospital wing, he was calling hermione's name out. lavender left him and ever since, the girl has had this weird obsession with me!"
"wow, that's literally insane."
"you're telling me! she's everywhere and it's starting to get creepy, jude shakes his head with a disgusted look. you laughed at his antics, causing him to chuckle with you.
"we should go before curfew," you say, gazing back into the gryffindor's eyes. you're met with a small smile and a nod. the two of you maneuvered around to gather your belongings to leave. you didn't get a chance to swing the backpack strap around your shoulder, seeing as jude grabs it from your hands and swings it around his shoulder instead.
"you're going to carry a green backpack? as in green for slytherin."
"you're my girlfriend," he shrugs his shoulders and holds his hand out for you to grab. you quietly slide your hand into his, fitting together like a puzzle piece. you let jude lead the way back to the castle.
-
the castle halls were nearly empty. making just before the prefects started checking to make sure everyone in their rooms. jude walks you all the way to your painting, hands still connected. the walk was quiet but surprisingly not weird or awkward.
"this is me."
"i'll see you in the morning, yeah?"
"yeah, i guess i'll see you around," you playfully roll your eyes, making the boy smile. jude lets go of your hand and immediately you miss the warmth it produced. it made your heartbeat race at the thought of being able to hold his hand again. he hands you the backpack that he took from you earlier. the boy surprises you again by wrapping his arms around your shoulders, pulling you into a hug. you reciprocate the action and wrap your arms around his waist. a quiet hug that seemed like neither of you wanted to let go first.
"goodnight y/n."
"goodnight jude. don't let a prefect see you."
"i'll be fine," he places a quick kiss to your cheek and walks away, heading in the direction to the gryffindor painting. it feels so unnatural to be like this with jude but it's like second nature to him. maybe you were completely in over your head.

hi so i don't post usually but I think nobody brought it up yet somehow? recently I saw a take on twt/x under "your unpopular opinion on Viktor" post on my fyp and a person suggested that Viktor's accent didn't make a lot of sense. and I agree and disagree simultaneously, so. I distinctly remember seeing that one interview with his original voice actor Owen Thomas (mind you, this interview is 12 years old) where he kinda explains how the character voice lines came about. I went to rewatch it again and yeah. here's a clip from there (Owen Thomas Interview - The Voice of Twisted Fate and Viktor on YT):
I think you know exactly what I'm thinking about, but I will elaborate a little bit on that. as a slavic person myself from a post-ussr area we know exactly that this is just an average caricature slavic accent that exists only on the screens of hollywood movies. like i haven't heard it anywhere but western movies. not in real life. ever. not to mention they usually don't even know other slavs exist besides russians (and even if we do, we, of course, sound the same lol). and I'm guessing you know exactly what characters usually have this accent. ;))))
Viktor came out in 2011 and back then the media was full of these awful archetypes(??), so I really believe that "the red scare bad villain slavic guys" played a huge role as to how this idea came to their mind to give this accent in the first place. because look at the old lore, Viktor clearly fits into the category of being this exact villain who may or may not have a slavic accent. whether it was intentional or not, this notion of making villains slavic with a silly accent was just something so deeply rooted in their minds they didn't give it a second thought. not to mention that Jayce (his kinda nemesis in the old lore) sounds very american to me. yeah bro where did I see this story before lol. anyway, yeah, the shit is hilarious, honestly. it is clumsy.
the point is, I think they kept the accent in arcane, because they felt like not taking away a trait from a character that made the character stand out in the first place. so it started as the voice actor randomly giving a character an accent over 10 years ago and it just stayed. the accent doesn't have a deep meaning besides maybe the thing that i have previously explained above (which may not apply to current artists behind arcane, at least I hope that their intentions were good) (fyi im not offended by the accent or anything, it is just how the culture has formed things. maybe one day we will see them do their homework and actually try to be at least somewhat correct in the phonetics of the accent. maybe. but like i just wanted to share this video I believe not so many people have seen)
#arcane#viktor#league of legends#viktor arcane#please dont take it super serious im just a chill guy#i also want to write an essay on how technophobia is beautifully portrayed in arcane through viktors arc because its my academic interest#but i think its super boring for people outside of robotics related academia#so yeah i just cope and play ranked games

Why Green Eggs & Ham (GEAH) Is The Best Dr. Seuss Adaptation.🍳💚 (Analysis)
Hello Everyone!! Hope you're all doing good and well and everything's going well for you all. ♥️ Wanted to come here and discuss about a show, an incredible show that even after it's release and end, it's still a well-made and amazing show that still great all these years later, and the show I'm talking about and referring to is Netflix's Green Eggs & Ham, I'm gonna discuss about how it's the best Dr. seuss adaptation to date.
Now, before we discuss and talk about Green, Eggs & Ham, we need to talk about and mention the past Dr. Seuss adaptations and dive deep into them real quick. Now when it comes to adaptations to Dr. Seuss's work, most of the time it's either hit or miss, mediocre or just flat out terrible and awful. One thing I've gotta mention is that Dr. Seuss beforehand wasn't very open to adaptations to his work, with the reason being that he was worried and afraid that his characters would be used in context for things he didn't 100% and necessary didn't agree with. But that eventually changed when he came to the cartoon adaptations that we all know today and overtime would loosen up his views and allow more adaptations of his work. And the first adaptation of his work was an animated short called "Horton Hatches The Egg" (based on Seuss's book of the same name and this book came way before Horton Hears A Who, btw) which was released back in 1942 and going forward, Dr. Seuss would later begin working very closely with the adaptations to make sure they stay true to the book, to the source material and in 1966, Seuss would authorized eminent cartoon artist, Chuck Jones himself (who was a close friend of Seuss as they also served in World War II together) to make a cartoon adaptation short based on "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" which would become the Christmas classic we all know and love to this day, Chuck would also go on to eventually direct + produce adaptations of both "Horton Hears A Who" (1970) and "The Cat In The Hat." (1971)
Dr. Seuss sadly passed away and died at the age of 87 from cancer on September 24th 1991 and from that point until her own death in 2018, his widow, Audrey Seuss would have full licensing of her husband's work and eventually gave in to the temptations of hollywood adaptations of Seuss's work which would be the movie adaptations. Let's start with "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" which was released back in 2000, so to basically recap this film although I loved it as a kid and still kinda do, I see it as a guilty pleasure (now as an adult) and rewatched the movie not that long ago and I don't believe it's aged very well honestly.
There are some good things to this film such as Jim Carey as The Grinch himself, which is perfect casting and the makeup effects on him are incredible, you truly by him as The Grinch, there are some funny moments, I'll still watch it here and there around the holiday's and the set design is pretty good. But when you take off the nostalgiatic googles you can see the problems with the film, now..as I said, this film does have a good set design, but it's hidden underneath all of this murky colorless filter to the point it looks so dull to look at honestly, like there's not much life. Along with that, the movie is just incredibly meanspirited, almost everyone in Whoville is terrible (besides Cindy) and unlikeable, soulless and just care about materialism which I get is the point of the film, but it just goes against the message of the book, The Grinch shouldn't have to explain and spell out the message for the who's, HE'S the one who's supposed to learn the lesson not the other way around, but the movie just gets it totally backwards.
Now, although this film hasn't aged the best and there are so many issues with the film, there are some good elements to it, it's definitely not the worst Dr. Seuss adaptation and I'll still watch it sometimes around Christmas, but it just hasn't aged the best, but again..It's not the worst Dr. Seuss adaptation, no that goes to the next one we're about to discuss.
Alright, so in 2003 another live action Dr. Seuss adaptation was released, that being "The Cat In The Hat" starring Mike Myers. And I'll keep this short and simple as I wanna get this one out of the way, I also rewatched this film not long ago too and it still sucks years later, there is really nothing good about this film honestly. From the set design, to the acting, (especially from Myers himself) the makeup, especially the makeup and CGI. The jokes are also abysmal and this film doesn't capture anything from the source material and almost feels like a slap in the face and say what you want about The Grinch, at least SOME effort and decent stuff was added in that film, even not done the best exactly. But with this film, it's just awful and bad..you know a movie is terrible when Audrey herself said that her husband would've despised the film and prohibited any further live-action adaptations of Seuss's work because of how bad the film was. This film itself is honestly why Dr. Seuss was so hesitant and nervous to allow adaptations of his work and I still believe there is the worst Dr. Seuss adaptation to date, luckily the next few adaptations of Seuss's work (mainly when it came to the film adaptations) would be done in computer animation instead of live action.
So, after the disaster and failure of The Cat In The Hat, we ended up getting some more film adaptations of Seuss's work which would all be animated and those being "Horton Hears A Who", (2008) The Lorax" (2012) and "The Grinch" (2018) and we've got another adaptation in the works based on Cat In The Hat that'll be released in 2026 by Warner Bros. But for now, let's quickly discuss the other film adaptations and I won't dive super deep into them, I'll just quickly go over as I don't exactly have a whole lot to say about them, honestly. Alright, so "Horton Hears A Who" was the next adaptation and was released back in 2008 and it's the debatably the best Dr. Seuss movie but that's not really saying a lot, and I'll definitely say that it's definitely decent but there's not much to it, there is some charm to it but overall it's just a fine film. It's not bad or god awful, but not all that great either, the film kinda feels all over the place with its story and humor especially but mostly as a whole as it seems to be struggling to turn a short story into a full length film which that's a criticism you can say for the other Seuss movies as well. Sure the animation is nice and often pretty to look at and there are some jokes that land, but this film is just alright and is watchable. I'll definitely say that this film AT LEAST does understand the message of the book and the animation has I said is great and pretty and actually does lend itself well to the Dr. Seuss world, but overall this film is okay, it's definitely better than Cat In The Hat and it's not insulting garbage but there are better films to watch, but I'd say give this a watch if you're curious and haven't seen it.
Let's move on and discuss both The Lorax and The Grinch which were both made by Illumination, instead of giving these two their own sections I'm gonna to just to discuss them in their own paragraph here, so hopefully that's fine, lol! Alright, so when it comes to The Lorax...overtime, it seems to be kinda decisive especially over the years with some either hating, loving it, or just not caring about it. I'm more in the hating and not caring for it category, now in terms of adaptations, this isn't the worst one over what we've discussed so far, but it's still a bad and not very good film. First off, this film clearly has cooperate studio meddling written all over it, and I'm not just talking about the product placement in the film's marketing, (which btw, is counterproductive and goes against the film's message!) but I'm also referring to the big hollywood actors casting and pop songs, and just trying just so hard to hip and not understanding the source material in the slightest, this film kinda feels like it was made so make money and just never to be talked about again, and also feels dated as well too. That's not the only issues with the film, there's also other problems as well from the casting like I've mentioned, and I know star casting has become a huge problem and talkative subject over the years but the casting for this film feels off, I mean you've got Zac Efron playing a 12yr and Taylor Swift, and no offense to these two, but they were very miscasted and you can tell they only got these two to appeal and become they're famous, and not only that, there's also how they wrote The Onceler and just 100% redoing his character and just making him into this emo guitar player, Ect. This film is another Dr. Seuss movie that doesn't understand the message of the book, the book didn't try to oversimplify the environmental message by simply, "Yeahhh, man and humanity sucks, ahhh!!" It just was never that simple, it's NEVER that simple even in real life, and the book did a great job starting a conversation rather than simply pointing a finger at someone. I'll definitely say that the animation is gorgeous and it's colorful and seems to capture some spirit of the world of Dr. Seuss but it just feels wasted on such a weak story, weak characters, a genetic cooperate villain that's there for the film's message and nothing more rather than a fleshed out character, and overall a forgettable experience. Again, although this film is a mixture of bad and mediocre, it's still not as bad as Cat In The Hat.
And now we finally have The Grinch from 2018, which was greenlit by Audrey before her passing. And I'll say that I do remember watching this film in theaters with my mom and thought it was decent for what it was, but after rewatching the film for this analysis, I'll say that while the film has some flaws, it's definitely decent for what it is, the film does leave out some of the best parts of the original book and ended up changing the message of the story in general, it's not like the message they were trying to teach was bad or anything, the intension is there and this film still is fun and very colorful and I can see some heart and decent soul put into it , it's definitely a decent and alright film, and I can understand why some loved and enjoy it and think it's a fine film and think it's a lovely sendoff to the Dr. Seuss movie adaptations. (For now, at least)
ALRIGHT!! Now we finally move on to the adaptation that this whole post is all about, let's finally discuss the latest Dr. Seuss adaptation that's been released out to date, that being Netflix's 'Green, Eggs & Ham' that was released back on November 8th 2019. Now, I'll honestly say that I remember going into this show I didn't exactly have many expectations as knowing how past adaptations have been in when came to Dr. Seuss and his work, I didn't know what to expect and thought this show was be really bad or mediocre at the least, but I remember hearing positive things about the show and seeing images and clips of the show got me rather interested and curious, so I remember going onto Netflix and checking out the show and after watching all 13 episodes of the first season I was pleasantly surprised by how damn good and well made this show is/was, like everything about this show is incredible from it's talented voice cast, from it's animation, (the show looks great especially since tv shows that are based on movies don't have the same budget as the films) from the characters, the story and just everything. You can clearly see all the hard work, love and dedication that went into this show and could tell that the ones working on the show truly cared about Dr. Seuss and his work and wanted to make a show not just for kids but something for almost everyone can enjoy. Everything thing in this world when it comes to the show just looks, breaths and 100% feels like Dr. Seuss, I also love and appreciate the references to other Dr. Seuss books and while the other Seuss tv shows and even the films themselves (except for Cat In The Hat) they were also able to capture nail the look of Dr. Seuss but something about Geah feels different, it truly nails the spirit and world of Dr. Seuss and it's just a beautiful looking show on every level, the animators really poured their love and soul into animating this show.
And it only gets better from here, there's also other amazing things about the show especially when it comes to the writing, characters and the story itself. And with this show, instead of 100% focusing solely on the story of the book, this show instead decided to change the story up and intertwine the original story into this new one. So, in this show, Guy-Am-I (played by Michael Douglas) is an inventor and who's very down on his luck mostly due to his inventions and dreams always blowing up right in his face, after one of his inventions fails his chance to going to Meepville, Guy decides to quit inventing and throw away the towel. Eventually, Guy runs into Sam-I-Am (played by Adam Devine) who's this chipper, loveable ball of sunshine who stole a creature known as The Chickeraffe ("Mr. Jenkins") that intends to return it to its natural habitat and have it reunite with its mother. But after getting their suitcases mixed up and when a mysterious agent duo known as "BAD GUYS" show up and attempt to take the Chickeraffe, this results in both Guy and Sam teaming up together in order to get to Meepville to save Mr. Jenkins and get him home. Now, while this story especially with its main characters, we've seen this type of storyline a million times before as it takes two characters with different personalities and putting them together as they learn to get along and know more about one another, being another typical buddy road trip formula. But it actually works very damn well with this show, throughout the first season, we see that Sam is able to have a huge impact on Guy and his life, in the beginning, Guy starts off as a closed off, grumpy frustrated individual who's very down on his luck and doesn't like anyone. Meanwhile Sam on the other hand, is very upbeat, loves life and is sweet and kind to almost everyone he meets and likes everybody. Again, while we've seen this type of thing many times before, this show does this type especially many other tropes that are shown in this show pretty well, and throughout the first season we actually see the characters grow, we see Guy starting to be more open and confident and even becomes more happier and even starts doing more with his life and trying new things such as inventing, friendship, family, love, ect.
And I think what also makes this formula work is the believable friendship and dynamic between Guy and Sam, it's incredibly well written and you truly do believe in their friendship and their dynamic and interactions is great!! The two clearly have an impact on another one another but Guy especially and while the first season was mainly focus on Guy and his journey, the next season gives a lot of focus on Sam when it comes to him wanting to find and reunite with his mom, but we'll get slightly more on that a little later! But Sam is also another great and well developed character and he's an example of an annoying character done right which can be a very tricky task, he's a character who's annoying but not annoying to the audience. Sam has such a likeable and loveable presence and charm, with some of that coming from Adam's wonderful performance, but I was never at all annoyed with Sam one bit and loved the depth they gave in S1 EP10 and showed his connections with Green, Eggs & Ham which felt powerful and heartwarming. And the Green, Eggs and Ham aren't there just to just be mentioned here and there, and to teach the message when it comes to Guy trying them, but also represents and shows just how important and strong Guy and Sam's friendship truly is. ❤️
There's also other memorable and great characters in this show, we've got characters from the book such as the fox, the mouse, and then you have the goat, in this show they're all changed and are good in their own right. First you have the fox, named Michael, who's this an eccentric guy who's basically obsessed with green eggs and has a huge crush on a green chicken named Sandra, and it's just incredibly hilarious as hell and pathetic in a way but just funny, then you have the mouse who's basically a parody based on "Jean Valjean" from Les Misérables and the running gag with him is that whenever he talks, basically nobody especially Guy and Sam can't understand him and only hear squeaks, he also has this huge song that dives into his backstory and it's supposed to be sad but you can't help but kinda laugh at it. And then you have the goat himself, who's basically this unhinged, nonsense badass bounty hunter sent by Mr. Snerz and will pretty much stop at nothing until he gets and captures the chickenraffe. He speaks with a strong spanish accent and he's kinda like an antagonist but he's extremely memorable and fun, he also this pretty fun and great fight scene with Mr. Jenkins in S1 EP9 up on a snowy mountain and not only does the animation sand out during this scene but it's indefinitely entertainment, it's interesting that a Dr. Seuss adaptation of all things would have things along with other great things in this show.
Let's also talk about the other characters they added in this show, that being "The Bad Guys" and "Michellee and E.B." and the main villain of S1, "Mr. Snerz." These characters weren't in the original book and are entirely new characters but similar to the other characters, they're good in their own right. We've got the agents themselves, McWinkle (played by Jeffrey Wright) and Gluntz, (played by Jillian Bell) we've got Mcwinkle who's the serious guy who's on his last mission and wants to get the job done as soon as possible, while his partner, Gluntz is basically the optimistic rookie and basically the opposite from Mcwinkle. And again, while this show does use tropes that been done to death that get tiring, that's kinda the point and this show does new things and does these tropes well that it doesn't exactly bother me all that much, honestly. Mcwinkle is a good and interesting character, although he might seem cold-hearted and serious he does care about his job and also despite his gruff persona, he does care for animals and others and just wants to keep everyone safe and both he and Gluntz aren't bad people, they're just doing their jobs and are just flawed almost like all the characters. Meanwhile with Gluntz, she's just the absolute and I love the hell out of her, although she can act serious and tough, but she just so fun-loving and chaotic and she's the best girl. Really do love Gluntz though, she's plucky, sweet, and just hilarious and some of her moments of the show are my favorite!
Now we have Mr. Snerz, (played by Eddie Izzard) who's the main villain of the first season and he's basically this famous rich businessman who wants to have the chickenraffe and mount it to his wall, and he doesn't want him dead and want his head on the wall, no he just literally wants him tied to the wall so he can keep the chickenraffe there for the rest of its life so it can never escape, and Snerz did that with all the other creatures he owns. Now, I didn't have many opinions about Mr. Snerz in the beginning and thought he was fine but also thought he was gonna be this typical one dimensional bad guy who wants to steal creatures for money and all that jazz, the same type of villain we've seen before. But, he's not exactly like that, he can be just as funny as the other characters at times and has a interesting solid motive for doing what he's doing and it's shown through his backstory.
And then you finally have Michellee and her one and only daughter, E.B. Now, I'm gonna dive deep into these two the best way that I can especially with Michellee as I feel she's been hated for wayyy too long (especially by some certain shippers and fans in the Geah fanbase) and deserves so much better and I'll show that she's not as bad as some try to claim she is. Now, Michellee is very overprotective and cautious who wants her daughter to be safe and okay, while E.B. is a rebellious kid/teen who wants to explore and have fun and do things that kids around her age do. And again like before, while we've seen this done before, just like the show itself and both Sam and Guy themselves, Michellee and E.B. are great and developed characters and their relationship is very well done, they're also on their way to Meepville only for Michellee to enter a literal bean contest and they end up meeting with our main duo multiple times throughout the first season and we get a nice bond between the four main characters. Both Sam and E.B. form a sibling type dynamic/friendship meanwhile both Guy and Michellee form a relationship of their own, now..I'll definitely say that one of the flaws with this show was the ongoing misunderstanding when it came to Michellee and Guy which became frustrating and repetitive, and it doesn't help that most of Michellee's moments kinda resolve around this and I really do think it could've been handled better.
But the way I've seen some of these fans especially when it comes to GuyXSam shippers, say that Michellee is a awful and terrible person is just frustrating as hell and ridiculous. It reminds me when it came to The Owl House, some tried to claim that Camilla was a terrible mom, which is downright not true and it shows people don't get it. While yes, Michellee was overprotective and her being too clingy only caused her to push her daughter away and feel alone, but the point of the show and the story itself is to NOT judge something or someone before giving it a try, without giving it a chance and these characters DO ACTUALLY GROW AND DEVELOP!! Over the course of the show we do see Michellee slowly learning to get out of her shell and try new things, and allowing her daughter to have fun, we learn that Michellee used to be a painter years ago but when her husband unfortunately died (when E.B was very small) she gave up her dream and moved on and this is possibly why she started to become more protective of her daughter, as she didn't wanna lose her either. Michellee clearly loves and cares about her daughter with all her heart, she's not perfect and she's very flawed (just like all the other characters in the show) and we do see her starting to be more open and by the end of the season, and even through some moments of Season 2, we see she's developed and has grown. Michellee isn't a bad parent, NOT in the slightest, she's a caring and loving parent that only wants to keep her daughter safe but she doesn't realize that doing so only pushed her daughter away and made her feel alone, and I really do by the mother/daughter relationship between her and E.B. and find it believable, like all the other characters, they are very flawed and the point of the show is for them to change, grow and give new things a try! (^-^)
Meanwhile with Guy and Michellee, although the two didn't get along and hit it off at the start due to Michellee being unimpressed with Guy's inventions due to them literally exploding, as the show went on and the more times the two met up one another one they start seeing that they actually have some things in common. Both are quiet, keep themselves, along with being reserved, and despite the annoying and cliche misunderstandings and writing choices when it came to how their dynamic was done in during some points from the first season, the relationship between both Guy and Michellee is honestly rather sweet. It's nothing too deep or groundbreaking, but they definitely are cute, adorable and just wholesome together and you do genuinely believe that the two do love and care about one another, both Michellee and Guy go through the same character arc's only with slight different circumstances, with both characters starting off not trusting the world or anyone around them and wanting to be left alone but both eventually learn the importance of not being afraid to try new things! 🙂🩷
Now, I'll quickly mention the second season real quick and while this season definitely isn't as good and amazing as the first one was, it's still a decent nice watch and there are some elements of the second season that I did enjoy. Firstly the animation is still incredible and well done and there is still clearly effort and love poured into the show even if this season wasn't as good as Season 1. And I did love some of the new characters they added such as Looka and Pam (Sam's Mother) and thought they were interesting and fun enough characters and I did love what they did with Pam. Although, she does follow into a trope we've seen before, what they did with her was still well down and you can clearly tell that she does love and care about Sam and similar to all the other characters, she's flawed just as them and isn't perfect, but she's not a bad parent or a bad person either, and while with Looka, although I don't have a whole lot to say about him exactly, I still really liked him and found his relationship and romance with E.B. very cute and adorable and I really do love their dynamic with one another and ship them, but as for the other characters I do think they could've been handled a little bit better but they're still fine enough characters on their own and I do think the route they went with the story also could've been handled better and could've been a little darker especially as the story they went with for S2, was based and took inspiration from another Dr. Seuss book called, "The Butter Battle Book" which was an anti war book that was written during the Cold war and I think they really could've done something different and make it more darker, but what they went with was fine and okay for what it was, but I think it could've been handled better and now certain characters act and are underutilize was also an issue with the second season, but for what S2 was its definitely a decent effort and they could've done something so much worse, the soul and heart of this soul is still there even if it lacks in some places, it's still a good season and I like it for what it is despite its flaws and issues, I still enjoy it. 💙
Overall, Green Eggs & Ham is an incredible and wonderful show that's very underrated and should be discussed and talked about more, this is a show that truly understood the message of the book and the source material itself. This show took inspiration from a short book and expanded upon the message and fits perfectly to not just the Green, Eggs & Ham but also to the characters as well too as we see them try new things and develop over the course of the show and I think the lesson of the book can apply to all of us as well too honestly. Live life to the absolute fullest as it's filled with many opportunities and about discovering new things but in order to that, you'll have to get out there and do what you love and just give new things a try and don't giving up and keep trying, even when life is tough, difficult or feels rather pointless, keep pushing forward and trying things! You can tell everyone who worked on Geah, truly care about Dr. Seuss and this book and wanted to do the show justice and they 100% succeeded. Even after the show's conclusion, this show is still amazing, delightful and just absolutely wonderful, it's filled with so much love, passion, it's well crafted and it's just a masterpiece honestly and it's most definitely the best Dr. Seuss adaptation!
If none of you haven't seen this show before or even heard of it, I'd highly recommend this show as it's a great and fun watch and it's 100% worth your time. This show is for everyone and even if you aren't that familiar with Dr. Seuss, you'll still very much love and enjoy this show. Please everyone, give this show a try and check it out, it's worth it. 🫶🩷

I need to vent a little.
Even though we had the Page Six article of Chrisba meeting Harry and Meghan and that Mark started following Justin, things had been relativly quiet. No big drama, no something that seemed too important. This morning I woke up to this whole Carlisle and IMDb thing, and I don't know why, but it's usually the Carlisle house and blurry pictures that make me realize how much I hate this whole situation. I'm just tired of it.
I made this account around April 2022, a year and a half ago. Looking back at it, it's crazy how things have changed. How all of us changed. How our view of Chris has changed.
My only goal with this blog was to share my opinion about this and my point of view. In the beginning, I think most people were confused about what's going on here and why everything was so weird. People were freaked out because of her age, and 16 years turned into racism, fatphobia, and people who support nazis.
We all said and still say it's going to get better, but when? I find myself not wanting to talk about this or deal with this whole situation, especially on those days when life feels too much for me. I don't want to argue with anyone; I don't want to argue whether the Carlisle house is his or if they are going to live there or not. I don't want to argue whether he was in a blurry picture or not. I don't want to argue whether they are real or not. I just don't anymore. I never wanted to convince people that I'm right or that I know what's going on, because I'm not. I only want to share my opinion; that's it, and sometimes people here make me want to leave much more than this weird whatevership does.
I'm just tired of them. Tired of their stupid followings, likes, and comments...Of their stupid stories filled with little signs and tired of them tiring to make this believable when they are clearly incapable of selling whatever this is. I'm tired of their games, and I'm surprised that they aren't tired of playing them. I'm tired that now even those who aren't involved are trying to "troll" the fandom for attention.
Whenever we think it's getting better, they just do something even worse, and it obviously has an effect on us. His actually being in love with her and wanting to spend the rest of his life with her (which seems very unlikely when you look at them) would mean he is okay with their values and that he agrees with them. I think I could "forgive" him for this being PR, but if he wants to actually be with her, I don't want to support that with my money and time.
There are always and will always be people who cross the line when it comes to their favorite celebrity, but this situation seems to get the worst out of everyone, of those who are directly and indirectly involved. Since the very first Las Vegas day, we have been shown that if you want to know what is actually going on, you need to look for clues. On videos, on pictures, among somebody's following list, or among those people who liked something, I know that now people say, Why do we even care about whom he dates? I didn't really care that much about them being real or not until her and her friends pasts came out. Up until that point, the only thing that bugged me about this whole thing was that Justin and Alba seemed to troll the fandom for attention, and I didn't like the way they tried to take advantage of Chris and his fandom.
Some people can't seem to understand the actual problem with him being connected to them. I don't want to support someone who is okay with the behavior of Alba and her friends. But it's hard to believe and seems impossible to me that the man we'd seen for 20+ years has never existed. He is not that good of an actor, and I don't think somebody would be able to play a role for decades.
I have a lot of movies with him in them that I love and want to rewatch, but this whole situation makes it really hard for me. I only see him. I see him when I look at Colin, or Andy, or Ransom, or Steve, or any of his characters. I miss that guy who was always smiling and laughing during an interview. I miss the guy who seemed happy and healthy. Right now he isn't even the shadow of his old self.
I don't want this to come across as me complaining. I know that nobody forces me to be here. I know that I could just delete this blog and go on with my life, but I like having my blogs. I like coming here and talking to my friends; I like seeing funny edits; and I like making funny edits. I would love to talk about his projects, make edits, and share photos and videos. I had so many things in mind prior to the whole wedding thing, which may always remain in my gallery and my drafts.
I will still continue with this blog, but I needed to write it down how I feel, because I think a lot of us feel this way. I'm staying; I'm not leaving because I need to know how this whole thing is going to end, and I still have some hope in him.

making a massive sonic movie 3 spoiler post to get all my insane thoughts out in a place with 1) no character limit and 2) functional tags + tools lol
don't look unless youve seen it! or if you're ready to lose a measurable amount of respect for me!!
if you had told tiny little 12 year old me that someday people would not only NOT flame Amy simply for existing in this cast, but that she would have people screaming and clapping for her in public?? she wouldve called you a cruel liar! but youre not! and its finally her time!!!
I'M SO HAPPY IT WAS HER I'M NOT EVEN MAD MY SILVER PREDICTION WAS WRONG LOL (tho i did think silver wouldve been waaaaaay too much too soon and i'm glad they agreed thank god)
i had her with me ofc bc she came with the set and its like they knew they had to complete it and now i want to CRY
i dont even know if i can expand on the fact that SHE saved SONIC???? will that flip the script?? is metal her rival rather than his at first??? and why on earth did they show half of that scene in the TRAILERS????
anyways, i'm so glad they let Shadow be SILLY! even SXSG shied away from the stuff they had him do here! that boy was towing Maria around the labs and having movie marathons and making snow angels and its like every little piece of domestic fanart I've seen of them came to life and it was perfect
its still sooo fucking funny to me that they really went all-in on "50 years ago is now the 70's" bc that aesthetic worked like a charm and i can't imagine anything else now. it is kinda jarring that theyre not on the ARK and Maria isn't sick but ofc the narrative still works without those facts. people are gonna be a bit upset about that one, but out of allll the plot holes this movie has (they NEVER explain how tf Gerald is still alive btw), that's one that's pretty easy to step over
there was one part with Gerald yelling "KIDS!" and both of them turn around and it just GOT me right thru the heart like yes!! he was a kid, too!! in between all the tests and labwork, he was learning how to live and they took it all away from him right when he was starting to figure it out :(((((
their first meeting here might be so good it deserves to be canon, i'm just saying. i think that'll make me cry on the rewatch for sure
i wonder if he's just gonna chill in that random field in oklahoma like when he landed the first time lol. he deserves some peace and quiet now especially since they went with the angle that he FELT all 50 years passing?? just lived the worst moment of his life over and over and over??? holy fuck
it did kinda fuck me up in the beginning bc they kinda-sorta imply that the accident was SHADOW'S fault, then they make you wait till then end for the full flashback, where not-commander-tower actually tried to save them but the solider fired anyway
they might have fucked around and accidentally made the most tragic/angry version of Shadow bc he not only got to stew on his anger for decades, but they literally gave him a Superman origin and Gerald was just the scientist assigned to figure out wtf he was actually lol. so you just KNOW they have a "press in case of BLACK ARMS INVASION" button ready to go for another movie so he can have another identity crisis when he finds out he's literally a herald of destruction!!!!!!!!
oh yeah this movie was supposed to be about sonic actually huh
i think i agree with the general reaction that his character is really great here! the first 20 minutes are basically every trailer we've seen in sequence, so his jokes & one-liners feel top-heavy and then they even out, esp as the later acts kick in and there's no more time for games lol. those trailers are doing him a bit of a disservice now bc compared to the eggmen, sonic is hardly that obnoxious in the full film, but the marketing doesnt care ofc
The Scene that mirrors Shadow's last moment with Maria is SO GOOD, i'm kinda shocked they didn't have him turn right there (but i'm glad that it was Sonic that made him turn, and that he got to throw some of his rage right back at him in process)
Kinda goddamn wild that for a moment it seemed like Shadow had fully killed a human, onscreen, in front of god and everybody. I actually wondered if he could still come back from that, for a minute.
it seems to be a common opinion that they went a bit too far with the jim carrey-isms, and i agree. i generally felt like it was an ok balance for awhile, then they cut into LIVE & LEARN with gerald spanking ivo and i actually sighed and cringed. you dont cut into live & learn for anything, but especially that!!!!
god, i need that orchestral remix like yesterday, its already bad enough we have to wait till christmas for SXSG soundtrack! GIVE IT UP ALREADY
best jim carrey scene was the doomed yaoi speech, oh my god
RAISE YOUR HAND IF YOU HEARD "I AM THE EGGMAN" ON HIS PHONE AND SCREAMED, TOO
losing it at how they literally assigned shadow to hangout with stone and he was just like "ok" and they watched tv together lol
Stone was fucking awesome when he actually had scenes to himself holy fuck Lee get that bag!!
REVENGE GUAC!!!!!!!!!!!!
putting my tinfoil hat on and claiming the novela scenes and guac bit as an acknowledgment of Shadow's loyalty to the latinas, as a latina myself this is within my power
as a whole, bits like the novela and team knuckles are soooo much stronger and natural than the mandatory dance scenes and branding shoutouts, god i hope that sticks in whatever comes next!!
i understand no one liked the wedding scene in 2 but i LOVED it and was kinda sad that special agent derek morgan was just a disguise here but the way they used him was great, so i guess i'm just glad they kept him around
director rockwell just kinda? came outta nowhere and then disappeared to nowhere?? oh well her character was just kinda filler huh. and here i had a crackpot theory that she was rouge in disguise lmao
am i stupid or have we NEVER gotten a super sonic vs super shadow before?? i cant remember every detail of things like sonic x, but of mainline stuff??? they mightve given us a first?!
MAKING THE POSE™️ SUPER WAS A+++ THO GOOD FUCKIN JOB
Keanu was sooooo good god i cannot wait until modders just splice his lines from here into the dlc and then it'll be perfect
i am realizing now that i love how they leaned more into Shadow's POV esp in Sonic becoming angrier and driven and just like him (almost like goddamn SCOURGE of all things), but it works very well and makes this feel more like a different kind of SA2 rather than SA2: the Movie, if that makes sense lol
i can't wait until they get halfway thru the next movie, walk into one of Stone's bustling new chain of coffee shops, and Shadow is just there chillin
soundtrack as a whole was SO strong! lot more familiar melodies and in total everything felt suited to the tone. the eggmen dance scene had a good song choice, even if i didnt like the scene itself lol
Maria had her own little theme and thinking about now is just gonna make me cry oh god
feels weird to realize now but i think they only called shadow the ultimate lifeform ONCE, in total. ig it wasn't really important but it's more apparent compared to SXSG where they say it every 2 seconds
What are the fucking odds that the same day a new Superman is revealed, Shadow is given a Superman origin?? COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT
am i done? will probably throw more up after my second watch lol look out
VAYA CON DIOS, SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG
SHE'S READY FOR 2027

Rewatching Ep 1-4 :)
First of all, I'm again amazed and amused by the fact that if they split into 2 groups and guys from one of them walked on their feet and just... didn't stop, they would finally reach civilization and call for help 😂 The road to this house is sentient, I swear, sometimes it's good and passable for a large car, sometimes it turns into some forest path where there is barely room for a scooter, oh, and there is also a conveniently collapsed bridge. Which other people know about, i.e. civilization AND HELP is not THAT FAR. 😭
How Phee gently holds White's hand while preparing for the filming. How does he treat him at all, how kind and caring he is. 🤔
Jin admitting he is a coward. 🤔
I wonder about the divine quality of the murderer(s) 😆 How mobile he is, how he appears often and in different places, twice he appeared in the way of boys running away on a SCOOTER (did he chase them through the forest? or does he just sit in the bushes and jump out when someone appears?), how strong he is - enough to lift Tee, or when he was hit several times in the back and head and it doesn't work on him. Same with his selectivity: he didn't finish off Por, he didn't kill Top even though he had the perfect opportunity, he killed Dang, he tried to kill Jin in the temple. And he never seems to sleep. And the fact that Top arrives on a scooter disguised as a murderer who previously attacked Tee and Tan who was then wearing black shoes and blue pants, while Top has white shoes and pants.
In deleted scene: Por counted 9 people on cctv.
Jin says that Non is alive, he just doesn't want to talk to them. 🤔 Tee and Top immediately assume it's his ghost, meaning that Non may be dead 🤔 Tee: If Non were alive, he would come to visit us, or at least he would come to Jin. Phee keeps insisting that the murderer is human. 🤔
Jin is genuinely worried about Por, he is shown comforting others, a voice of reason, a support for the group.
Phee's strange reactions: when Tee wants to leave Por and save himself, Phee is shown sitting frozen, looking at the floor. (Was that the case with Non? Was he left behind with wounds and maybe the reason he died was because no one helped him?). Or when Phee looks at Fluke strangely when he talks about leaving fingerprints on the dead body and an autopsy, and then he keeps looking at him when Fluke is visibly panicked. 🤔
Tan keeps directing the conversation towards Non, casually trying to bring out from the group what happened 3 years ago, until he loses control towards the end and DEMANDS to tell him what happened. Tan messes with Fluke's head, who only in this one scene with him, acts genuinely terrified of dying throughout the entire series, even his voice is different. Yet Tan also saw someone in the house and fought the murderer, too. What's interesting is that when the injured Tan comes back, he calls only Phee and Jin. 🤔
Now, as the first time, I'm impressed with how Tee treats White. I really can't doubt his feelings for White. His vile character, which we got to know in the flashbacks, came out in two scenes with White, when he scolds White for "not obeying" (although I have the impression that Tee is lashing out because he's panicking about filming a movie that triggers him) and when he runs away with Top (in in this scene he clearly succumbs to fear and peer pressure, they are in a frenzy in this scene. But the moment he sees the masked murderer he realizes that he left White and immediately returns).
It's interesting how Jin and Phee gravitate towards each other. I also think they are more compatible with each other than Phee and Non. And Jin can't lie to Phee and tells him the truth straight to his face, including the unpleasant one, which clearly pleases Phee.
It's also interesting how Phee and Tan often complement each other and "cooperate" wordlessly 🤔
The scooter doesn't start when Phee tries and starts immediately when the murderer sits down 🤔
Fluke is ready to worsen Por's condition, shoot Top and now hold everyone hostage (what's his plan again?), just so the truth about what happened 3 years ago doesn't come to light and just to save his precious reputation. Fluke is willing to do anything to save his bright future as a doctor. (It's very interesting how he looks at his bloody hands.) Just like the first time, I wonder about Fluke's extremely terrible behavior towards White, he is plain nasty, abusing him mentally, verbally and even physically, how often he tells him that Por may die because of him, he acts like a abusive parent with his: "can you do at least one thing right?", "you are so slow." What else struck me was the obvious fact that Fluke hates being a doctor, hates the patients, hates this job, complains when he has two patients, doesn't he know what it's like to work in a hospital? 😆Question: why does Fluke want to become a doctor, because it's definitely not his calling… 🤔 For his mom? For the money?
Jin's arm is dislocated AGAIN? What happened the first time?
Fluke to Tee: you killed a person. Tan immediately at Tee: 👀👀👀 I have the impression that Phee is working with Tan and that they just want to get confirmation of what happened first by scaring the boys. We see, for example, Tan unpacking the costume, which means he has access to it. And that is why the murderer did not kill Top - because he only wanted to freak him out (which worked, also Top's panic was contagious, also Tan is not there). Or maybe there never was a plan? Because actually everything looks quite random and accidental, they couldn't have known that Por would have a disk with the movie lying just there next to the TV (unless they already had this disk and placed it earlier), that he would let them play it, that the rest of the guys would agree to play in the new film. There's just too much randomness, dumb luck and unknowns here and the real (?) murderer is interfering with their plans.
I have a feeling that Non is either dead, missing, in a coma, or in a mental hospital and Phee and Non are trying to get information what happened. Although I wonder why they would wait 3 years for an answer, while being friends with the people who caused Non's downfall. Not to mention that Phee was sleeping with Jin and had quite an intimate and emotional relationship with him, and if he hooked up with him for revenge/spying, that would be quite a new level of sophistication and, well, being fucked up. And bit out of character for Phee, too I think. I have the impression that Phee and Tan are also shocked by what is happening, but I might be wrong.
I would say that Por's death was an accident that no one wanted (Phee, Tan and even the masked killer), if it weren't for that wire that decapitated Dang and the genuine attempt to attack Jin. Is this Non? Hmm, this would mean that Non's alive and in these three years he has either improved a lot and is able to carry out a complicated revenge plan, or his condition has gotten a lot worse and he is on a killing spree - at the same time being sane and balanced enough to carry it out successfully. (friendly reminder, that in slasher films, parents are also often the masked murderers - especially mothers..)
(Did you know that the actor playing Dang has his entire body covered with tattoos? :O)

hiii!!!! im back girliee :) sorry i fell of the face of the earth for a little bit. no pressure to answer this fast its not super important lol
the last few chapters have been so delectable!!! love getting kyle action but also ghoap/gazsoap/ghostgaz was YUM!!!! 🤤🤤 I'd be lying if I said I wasn't excited to get back to the camera/Simon's bond conflicts too tho lol 😅
haven't been able to play much COD recently due to being busy :( (+ I've been playing The Last Of Us and I may be a bit obsessed with Joel Miller.....I really need to stop playing multiple video games at once lol) (also actively playing Genshin Impact)
I HAVE FUN HEADCANNONS
idk where this idea came from but I have a headcannon that the TV in the rec room is just lowkey the worst. Old, slow, and the base is out in the middle of nowhere so it limits a lot of their TV options.
Don't have streaming because it requires a payment/subscription and something about not being able to hook it up to an account/being on a military base/not safe to have clues to their money or personal lives (I know nothing about the military forgive me). They do have cable but because their base is in the middle of buttfuck nowhere they get only the strangest, most low-production channels out there.
I saw a youtube video a while ago about a British reality TV show where a female contestant is shown a bunch of dicks, nothing else, and she has to decide who she'd want to go out with based on that alone 😂😂 it was completely uncensored, so dicks would just be fully hanging out there. that's the type of shit that they get on the cable in the rec room LMFAO
feel like the only option for personalized TV/movies is the old DVD player hooked up to the TV (that was there when they moved into the place 😭) so the boys constantly have a collection of DVDs they're always rewatching, or they buy new ones/ship them in when there's something new they want to watch
I'm the type of person who will watch bad movies or reality TV shows just so I can giggle at them, so I FULLY believe that the pack would find some shitty knock-off reality TV show and lock in to watch the new episode every week together
if the boys and/or 'mega ever want to watch something popular/that would usually be on streaming they just have to get it off some backstreet website or something like that (they have burner laptops specifically for this purpose)
hope you're having a good day/night/afternoon and that you have a good week as well :) stay safe, slept, and hydrated!!!<3
— 🌘 !
Aww no need to apologize!! Things happen, people get busy. I'll always be here, hanging out (well, not quite as often right now but i'll see stuff eventually!!)
Aww thank you, thank you I'm glad you enjoyed them!!! They have been rather delicious, but don't worry, we will be getting back into the fluff and ANGST very quickly. I've been dragging the plot out more than I wanted to so now I'm rectifying that lmao.
I own The Last Of Us (it came with my PS4 when I bought it four years ago) but I still haven't played it because I suck at playing games lol. I either play all the way through at once or I play for an hour and then turn it off and don't touch it for months lol. Same even with the Sims. I go through cycles of playing for hours everyday and then not touching it for weeks and weeks.
No but like that idea would be so true lmaoo. Just an old fuzzy TV that has no streaming capabilities. They have a very vast collection of DVDs (organized by Simon of course) which is how they keep themselves sane lmao. They get like ten channels and flip between sports and daytime TV and game shows 😂 it's a routine now, sitting and watching some random game show at night.
Hey, they break a lot of laws already, what's the shame in playing pirates? 😉

is this blog both jedi-positive and anakin-positive? just wanted to make sure, seems often it's one or the other.
You know anon, I know this is standard phrasing in fandom, but it still makes me laugh. This blog, the company selling you contenttm has decided by committee to endorse jedi-positive contenttm for your viewing pleasure. I am wearing a suit and tie and a badge that says 'anakin-neutral' or whatever. Like I'm a professional fan and not just someone with a keyboard and an internet connection.
...I am, admittedly, also somewhat puzzled by the implication that a) I've said enough 'jedi negative' things for you to be confused and b) that anakin-positive things and jedi-positive are mutually exclusive. Well, not puzzled so much in the latter case, I know full well the things frequently do not overlap, but still.
Anyway. Just Some Guy I may be, I am generally fairly consistently positive about jedi. I like them individually and as a group, and i have become very allergic to a lot of the bullshit rhetoric that so frequently gets trotted out and about. I guess I can put on my little suit and badge in this case, look at me, having A Basic Position.
Anakin? Hah, Anakin. You know, a very long time ago, as a teenager, i watched star wars over and over during a bad time. and you know, two years ago i had another mental health crisis, during which i hyperfixated on the prequels trio for some reason. I hadn't even rewatched the movies or anything, that came later. so. anakin. two years ago i was re-enacting the mustafar dialogue in my car and bursting into tears as i told my steering wheel 'you were my brother anakin, i loved you!'. i'm good now, been back on meds and everything. I am now completely normal about anakin skywalker. except, you know, depending on the stars, what i ate, which is the last thing i watched, which was the last fanfic i read, what song i just listened to on spotify, what is happening in the world that i am processing, my menstrual cycle probably, whether i forgot to take my meds, what's going on in my life, what turn my thoughts took on that day. So maybe i do not have a consistent position on anakin skywalker. you get what you get.

Just watched Whiplash for my brother’s birthday (another film he selected in an attempt to class us up a bit) and I was curious to know what your thoughts on it were. I’m still trying to work out how I feel about it outside of the fact that I feel like I may have just witnessed cinema’s greatest villain. I long to watch the band fall upon him and tear him apart like angry wolves…
omg, tell you brother happy birthday from me! tell him i say keep the good movies coming lmao 🎉
holy shit, whiplash...i'll be honest, i watched it many, many years ago with my dad, probably back when it came out (and wayyy before i got into movies as a whole), so my memory isn't as clear, but i don't think i can ever forget how truly awful i felt while watching it lmao. not because it's bad (i'd have to rewatch it, and i will someday, but i'm pretty sure it was a really good movie), but...well [gestures vaguely at the whole movie].
like, it clashes completely with how i feel teaching should be, how i think one can become proficient in the activity of their choosing. just, very very upsetting to young me. and to top it all off, i watched it with my dad, who's...not strict by any means, but someone who believes in a little bit of sacrificing for achieving ones goals, so while he wasn't defending fletcher (because i think anyone that watches the movie can understand that he's an abusive piece of shit) he could understand the whole desire to suffer for success, to be the best and all, and i was just like.........aaaaa. y'know.
so basically, great movie that i need to rewatch now as a full-fledged adult but that i'm scared to because i need that bald motherfucker to get squashed by a drumset STAT.
#OH MAN this one's a whole thing....#top two movies where i felt absolutely miserable: the og speak no evil and whiplash. just awful awful energies.#but yeah fantastic movie#i feel like i should rewatch this one then immediately follow that up with pixar's soul so i can believe in myself once again lmao#great movie pick tho!!!! it's a modern classic!#juli answers

+also can you recommend techniques or kekkei genkai i’d really appreciate it
[thanks for this ask!]
I'm assuming you're the same person who asked about the OP thing as well lmao. I'd be happy to recommend some stuff!
my own kekkei genkai in my Naruto DR are really just the sharingan and shikotsumyaku, as my father was an uchiha and my mother was a kaguya. i just looked at a list of all the canon abilities and shot for the strongest, most coveted ones.
but! if you need some ideas for a kekkei genkai of your own, here are some of the ones I've come up with, in the past!
[lmao btw i wrote this list like almost two years ago don't come for me if it sounds silly, and my apologies if it's a bit short]
≿❈≾
(1) TIME-BASED ABILITIES
i always thought it'd be interesting if there was something that allowed users to manipulate space and time, exactly like how tobirama and minato were able to utilise a space-time jutsu. why not be able to do both separately? maybe you could have an ability where you could see rifts in time, allowing you to glimpse past or future events; which is especially useful for intel and sabotage.
on that note, the inspiration for this was the sharingan's izanagi, izanami, and kamui abilities.
- - -
(2) LUMINOKINESIS
i was rewatching Arcane when this came to me. i remembered one of LoL's cinematics for Wild Rift (the one with the teams on the battlefield), and thought of Lux. then i thought of Iridessa, one of the Disney fairies, and that one Tinker Bell movie where they all accidentally switched powers. and then i thought, wouldn't light manipulation be such an OP ability?
something like prismatic refraction could allow you to create illusions, project blinding beams, or even bend light to make yourself invisible. it's ideal for stealth. but at the same time, you could even use it offensively—similar to how Superman shoots fuckin' laser beams out of his eyes, or how Usagi (Sailor Venus) creates said beams of light to attack enemies.
- - -
(3) AVATAR-INSPIRED ABILITIES
i cannot stress this one enough!!! take literally any power you could from Avatar: the Last Airbender or Avatar: the Legend of Korra—and amp it up to the max! all of my abilities in my Naruto DR have been based mostly on these two shows, with the occasional inspiration from other fandoms of course, but really these two. the elemental manipulation, along with the 'specialisations' are not only fucking cool to use—they're also incredibly useful in mundane situations (in the DR, at least). I'm pretty sure I've made posts about those shenanigans in the past lmfao.
at that, consider these, if ever: metallokinesis, plasma manipulation, astral projection, geokinesis, and atmokinesis.
- - -
(4) INSPIRATION FROM OTHER FANDOMS
the ones I've listed above are honestly just my own favourite abilities, and the ones that quickly came to mind as i was writing this. but those are just a portion of the vast majority that you could find from other sources! there are countless more to consider, abilities that might not necessarily be included in the world of Naruto itself but still something very much to consider. who doesn't love a good crossover? i know i do. hell, I've even used some of my own Naruto DR abilities in my HP/GoT DR.
i really recommend parsing through other cartoons, comics, movies, and et cetera. and if not that, then at least check their wiki pages. Fandom is always your friend. sometimes, when i browse through fanfics on FFNet or AO3, i see things that i like (powers that a character has, for example, or situations that they land themselves into)—things that stick with me, which i note down for future reference. and when the time comes, i could use it for my own experiences.

18, 19, 20, and 25 for the end of year fandom ask thing!
18. Fandom that you never expected to get into
Maybe the biggest surprise was My Lady Jane, I don't typically enjoy period romance dramas (for pacing reasons, I'm impatient with slow paced things). Arcane is a bit of a surprise, I'll admit. I tried watching the first season when it first came out and it just didn't resonate with me, and I couldn't get super into it. I think I'm on the sixth episode of the show now, though, and I'm definitely dragging my feet cos I know it'll become a hyperfix if I'm not careful.
19. Fandom that made an unexpected comeback
The X-Men!! Really didn't expect to fall so hard back into that fandom, I won't lie. I definitely fell a bit pray to the cringe culture thing surrounding superheroes for a few years, but watching the first episode of X-Men '97 had me eyeballing Rogue and Gambit like. I need to know more about them. So I started reading comics, and then when it became clear that they would bring Gambit back (Apocalypse you big bald blue bastard you've never done me any good but do me this ONE solid), I decided to binge X-Men '97 and I wasn't disappointed! Then of course, you and I decided to give the movies a rewatch, and I was quickly humbled by realizing that yeah. Logan really does deserve the hype. Man of all time.
Gilmore Girls also took me by surprise this year.
20. Last fandom of the year?
Probably Arcane just by the product of I'm in the middle of watching it. But actively making stuff for? Marvel.
25. Fandom predictions for next year?
I answered this one but I've remembered more shit! So! Finishing up Arcane is definitely in my future, and I want to watch Dirty Dancing. We've also got PJO season two coming out, and then Frankenstein!! And Superman!! And lots of new Poe stuff!!! I'm also tentatively considering watching more cartoons (some mutuals have been getting into Transformers and now I'm curious), and stuff like that. I am however trying very hard to ignore my beloved mutuals' F1 posting...because I've already been told a couple years ago that I'd probably love the sport and I just feel in my bones if I ever became a sports girlie it would do something drastic to my brain chemistry and I'd never recover.
Fandom in review asks!
#thanks briar#asks#dameronalone#other predictions include: i want to finish rewatching mando#and i'm sure tswift will drop an album that i'll begrudgingly be excited for

For the first time in probably... 5 years? Bit more? Bit less? I rewatched A Silent Voice. I wanted this to bookend the KyoAni groupwatch because it's pretty much their only standalone feature film, and I already know it's good and I like it, so it seemed like a nice spot to finish off with. And, yeah. I feel a little more complete having done this. Also feels like spring cleaning in a sense because I torrented the ITBD release and that was a clean 40GB I've finally gotten to delete lol.
But anyway. I've kind of had a bit of an arc with this movie. I watched it a long time ago, honestly think I gave it a 10 at first, and then hovered it down to a 9 at some point, and I'm pretty sure that happened when I read the manga. For a while there I thought the manga was straight up better, primarily because the manga is more. It's longer, there's more time spent on the supporting cast, there's more scenes pertaining to the main cast, there's an entire subplot about making a movie, and it continues for about a full volume's worth after the movie ends. And, you know, that's all a good thing, right? Everyone's fleshed out, there's more time with these characters, their relationships are better realised, it's all good.
But at some point, and I admittedly couldn't really tell you when, I started to prefer the movie. I haven't reread the manga whereas I've rewatched the movie several times which probably caused this, but I noticed that I'd basically forgotten everything that had happened in the manga that wasn't in the movie, and I think that's because I kinda stopped caring. Like the characters are more fleshed out, yeah, but when I'd be remembering the series I'm only really remembering Shouya and Shouko plus to a lesser extent Yuzuru. There's a movie making arc, but do I care? The best part about this story by far is Shouya and Shouko. Two wounded individuals trying and struggling to reconnect with each other but also their desire to live at all. It's a story of guilt and of redemption and of how painful it can be wanting to live despite everything. At some point I'd convinced myself Naoko Yamada and Kyoto Animation made the right call cutting a lot of stuff from the manga, because it gives the story a clearer focus on its best part. Their relationship is the thing that I care about and it's the thing the movie decided was the most important. Just cut the bullshit, the movie's better for it.
And so we get to today's arc, wherein I feel like I've realised that the movie simultaneously cuts too much and yet too little at the same time. It does focus primarily on Shouya's story of redemption and his development with Shouko, but a lot of other things are still kept, sometimes to the movie's detriment. Does the movie benefit from having Mashiba be a character? He's fleshed out in the manga but in here he just shows up, wants to be friends, and then gets yelled at. Shouya and Shouko's whole narrative would feel less muddled without him. Although at the same time he was a fleshed out character in the manga and it'd be better if that came across in this adaptation at all. Like you can cut him and it'd be better or you could have more of him and it'd be better. We're basically in a sour spot where entire parts of the movie don't really work because they should have a different level of focus - whether it's more or less. Entire swathes of this movie feel somewhat meandering because it doesn't commit to either approach. It wants to present everyone faithfully but it also cuts a lot of everyone's scenes to focus on Shouya and Shouko stuff. This leads to this whole thing where certain characters like Ueno and Kawai are really hard to get a read on because we don't spend the time we do with them in the manga. But again if we did it might just be sorta boring? Like do you see the problem I'm having. The movie's caught between a rock and a hard place. There's a perfect version of this story somewhere but it's neither the manga nor is it this anime. Cutting like half the cast is probably my preferred option but that's also a little nuclear and enough of them are important to where that probably wouldn't work. But again it doesn't really work as-is and it mostly works in the manga but it's also a little dull. There is no victory to be found.
And with those very mixed feelings aside that I don't think I communicated all too well, I have in fact lowered my score for this movie once again, and now it is down to... 8/10 lol. Yeah no I can say all that shit but I mean the movie's still an audiovisual masterpiece and has a fantastically written lead pair and tons of very strong emotional moments, like I still found myself crying several times during this rewatch. It's got by far the best depiction of bullying I've seen in anime such that the things it has to say about why bullying happens and what it does to people feel extremely potent and relatable. There are characters I don't love if everything I already said wasn't proof enough but certainly the lead pairs' family members in particular are incredibly likeable and compelling characters that are involved for lots of the strongest scenes in general. There are aspects in which the movie is a little confused and I think should've been adapted slightly differently but god damn if it isn't a gripping story all the same.
That's all from me, bye lol.

Ranking the Alien and Predator movies as I watch them for the first time.
Okay, before I start I just want to explain again that for years I've tried to get into the Alien movies, I've seen the first bit of Alien a few times when I've tried to watch them and I have seen all of Aliens but don't really remember it. I also watched Alien vs Predator a while ago and absolutely loved it. I'm also pretty sure I've seen the first bit of Predator maybe two times but never finished it, I've also seen Prey when It came out and really enjoyed that. So with the new Alien film coming out, and it looks SO GOOD! I thought I would actually sit down and properly watch the movies, and of course the Predator movies too. So enjoy!
Alien (1979) - The OG! Im sure if I saw this when it first came out it would have been an experience, unfortunately I wasn't alive then so, but I can very much appreciate the impact it had on audiences. A very good introduction to Ripley, and it was so nice to see John Hurt!! (Merlin OG here) Also Jonesy, I love you.
Aliens (1986) - Fav! I don't even have to finish the others, this is my favorite one. HICKS I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. It was just incredible and I can't even tell you why, wait yes I can! HICKS FLIRTING WITH RIPLEY. Justice for this little family! we should of had Ripley, Newt and Hicks as a little family unit going around a killing Aliens. We were ROBBED. Also the start of Bill Paxton cameos.
Predator (1987) - Amazing, very suspenseful and just a very good introduction to the Yautja. I also think the scenery and them being in a jungle was a very good choice, especially with the whole camouflage. Got very attached to Billy though which was a mistake, I mean I knew he was going to die but still was very upset when he actually died.
Predator 2 (1990) - Okay, let's get the good things out of the way first, Bill Paxton cameo part 2, he was so good! I wonder how he felt knowing he was one of only two actors to be killed by a Xenomorph, a Yautja and Terminator. Other than that this was terrible, I found it so hard to finish, I don;t know why but the atmosphere that was in the first one just wasn't here.
Alien 3 (1992) - What the actual hell was this?? First Killing Hicks and Newt, like??? HOW DARE YOU. But this movie just wasn't it. I will now refuse to acknowledge this movie exists. I was however surprised and felt quite sad about finding out about Ripley gaining an Alien in her chest during hypersleep and then killing herself so that the company couldn't have it.
Alien: Resurrection: (1997) - Just going to say this now, I don't know how I feel about the whole thing of Ripley being cloned, I felt it really took away from her sacrifice in Alien 3, But on the other hand Creepy Clone Ripley did grow on me. WINONA RYDER?! I love Call so much, I did not see that coming! I was so upset when she got shot. Also! (Robin Hood Prince of Thieves here!) Hi Michael Wincott! nice to see you again. Not going to lie, however I feel about the Cloning I did really enjoy this one, and was please to see it brought back some hope for me after Alien 3. Also the new Alien that came out of the queen, giving everyone puppy dog eyes and then just attacking them pahahha! Amazing.
Alien vs Predator (2004) - Now this is the movie that I remember seeing and loving and rewatching it just proved that I still loved it, The whole hidden pyramid was so interesting, and I'm really glad they did it like that. Not really much to say, I just really like this one.
AVPR: Alien vs Predator - Requiem: (2007) - I honestly don't remember most of this, not going to lie. Safe to say I didn't like it.
Predators: (2010) - Started to watch this but turned it off, I think i'm just going to stick with Predator, Alien vs Predator and prey.
Prometheus: (2012) - I did like this one! it was very different from the other Alien movies, wouldn't say it was one of my favs though.
Alien: Covenant: (2017) - This one unfortunately is going to the bottom of the list, did not like it at all.
Alien: Romulus: (2024) - ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS FILM. I really need to rewatch it but my god it was good! it very much felt like aliens did and i love that!
All in all I think the ones I will rewatch many times are Aliens, Alien; resurrection (I'll overlook the Ripley clone thing) and Alien; Romulus. Most definitely Aliens because Hicks I love you and I haven't stopped thinking about you! Also Joansey was the best character.

So now that I've actually watched 10 anime I wanted to rank them from best to worst
1. MSG: the Witch from Mercury; I have not seen any other Gundam show but I don't think this one is leaving #1 spot ever, and Bandai were cowards and homophobic for not showing us either a kiss or the wedding even though they got married, also I'm so mad that I episode 11 during the hug they didn't even say "I love you". The robots became the least interesting part of the robot show (8th I watched)
2. Bocchi the Rock!; probably what I want most anime to be, can't wait for the movie('s), this, G-Witch and Your Name might as well both be #1, also I want a cute Bocchi plush but I can't find one that's affordable without a high delivery :< (7th I watched)
3. Your Name; A movie that I found on a trans subreddit about a year ago, I didn't think it'd be as good as it was or that it'd affect me as much as it did, but I was left in tears when the credits came on, the story went somewhere completely than I thought it would, 10/10. also tied for first place, it deserves to be watched in a movie theater so much (10th I watched)
4. Cowboy Bebop; twink and his bear friend go on space adventures oh and the twink has his own shadow the hedgehog (6th one I watched)
5. BNA: Brand New Animal; the one of 2 studio Trigger show I've seen but from what I've read and heard they have a pretty mid reputation, I really liked it tho, I watched it around the time I came out and it's a pretty good trans allegory (still feel a tad weird about the ending) (4th one I watched)
6. Neon Genesis Evangelion (and the 1st movie); (don't)Get in the robot Shinji, I had been interested in it a bunch, big robots and all that, but only just got to it. The self perpetuating loop of abuse and trauma that Shinji and everyone gets put through because Genduo can't get over the death of his wife is horrible and I can't think of a more despicable antagonist than him, the movie was so fucked up. I still struggle to get what Seele was supposed to represent. I loved every scene where the Eva's get shown as demons, those looked real cool (9th I watched) (watched it entirely cuz of Signalis)
7. Cyberpunk Edgerunners; watched this before I played the game, the abuse that David went through combined with the end that I miss interpreted put me a bit off and I missed the point, but I got it after a rewatch (3rd one I watched)
8. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure; now that I've grown as a person I can safely say that it deserved to drift from spot 1, part 4 is still my fave. And it's still really really good in spite of how low it is (1st I watched)
9. Guilty Gear Xrd & Strive story mode; I am both counting and lumping them together, I liked the oversized Smurf with a gun, also Elphelt bby girl, still would've preferred an actual game tho(5th one I watched)
100000000000. Future Diary; I've watch this in a trade to get someone else to watch JoJo's, they came out better off with that deal, I am also no longer friends with that person (not because of the show but it's funny to mention) (2nd I watched) I still think it's missing some zeros, just add however many you believe it needs
Honorable mentions:
- Signalis; I know it's not an anime but it's anime adjacent and it's the best story I've ever played through, I don't even like horror games or gore at all that much but I will 100% this game and get all the endings, I wish I could talk about it more but spoiling ANYTHING about it feels wrong and making posts where half the words are censored just so fans get it isn't gonna work
- Pokemon; I loved the XYZ and B&W runs but I haven't watched it all and only remember catching it on TV
-Scott Pilgrim takes off, I watched the first few episodes, I don't particularly care for it, but it looks pretty good
Dishonorable mentions:
- Attack on Titan; I've had a run in with the series back when season 1 came out, back when I thought gore was cool, now I have negative interest in the series, I literally couldn't care less and I'm only putting it here to be fair
Conclusion:
After the Witch from Mercury and Evangelion, I don't care for big robots as much as I used to.
Oh and I'm watching some more soon-ish gimme recommendations
#guilty gear#signalis#neon genesis evangelion#your name#jojos bizarre adventure#the witch from mercury#cyberpunk 2077#cowboy bebop#bocchi the rock!#bna: brand new animal
