"oh, satoru, someone sent me another gift!" you say with a smile, beckoning him over to look. satoru hops off his chair and looks over at your computer screen, resting his chin on the top of your head. "look, it's the skin i said i wanted! i wonder who sent it to me, huh..."

satoru shrugs and dips his head to kiss the side of your face. "coulda just asked me for it, y'know," he mutters, eyeing the username that had apparently sent you the gift.

you ignore him and gesture at the time on the top-right corner of your screen. "isn't your stream starting in a couple minutes?" you ask, tilting your head. satoru nods and pulls away, shaking his white hair out of his eyes before walking back over to his monitor. and just a minute or two later, he's live and chatting with his early viewers.

"hey, suguru," he says with a grin, waving at the screen when his close friend joins. "you wanna join my team for today? the match's gonna start in a couple minutes."

suguru-geto: yea sure one sec

satoru spins around in his chair a couple times, and he blows a kiss at you every time his chair faces your direction. and every time, you humor him and catch his kisses. eventually, he stops spinning around in circles and starts actually interacting with his viewers.

inumaki: i hate gojo's streams

inumaki: you just stare at your gf for half of them

inumaki has been kicked from the stream by satoru-gojo.

"anyways. suguru, you ready yet?" satoru says with a grin. suguru replies with a thumbs-down in the chat, and satoru groans impatiently. "what are you even doing that's takin' you so long?"

suguru-geto: taking care of something

"whatever," satoru grumbles, slouching down in his chair and spinning around one more time. "hey, chat, y'wanna know a funny story? i could use your help on it too."

the comments explode with various forms of affirmation, and satoru turns his head and winks at you. "so, lately, some random account's been sending my girlfriend everythin' she could ever want. skins, coins, you name it. what does that mean?"

he ruffles his hair with one hand and drums his fingertips on his desk with the other, surveying the replies from underneath his long, white eyelashes.

sho-ko: some guy wants her sooo bad

yuuji-itadori: maybe the person's just being nice! :)

satoru makes a face at shoko's comments and scowls, sitting up and leaning closer to the screen. "i dunno if the guy who's sending my girlfriend gifts is here right now, but if you are, you better not think that you have a chance with her. 'cause you don't!"

you can't stifle the smile that spreads across your face at satoru's indignant words, and when he turns to you, you just can't help but laugh. he's so sweet, even and especially when he does his best to gatekeep you. but ever since he brought you onto his stream for the first time, you've been an instant fan-favorite, so he can only hide you for so long.

satoru scrunches up his face at you childishly, and you draw a heart in the air right back at him. it makes him smile ruefully, and his eyes light up when you blow a kiss at him. he turns back to his screen determinedly and raises an eyebrow at the latest comment.

sho-ko: do u have the guy's username? cus you can find out who it is that way

"oh, it's... hard to say. rio-zuku?" satoru tries, squinting his eyes. "i don't know, whatever. you guys know him?"

megumi-fushiguro: dyou mean ryosuku? i hate him

yuuji-itadori: oh i don't like him either :( hes mean

satoru scoffs and puts his feet up on his desk, rolling his cerulean eyes. "he can't be more famous than me, so whatever."

megumi-fushiguro: he gets 100k views per stream

"well, he can't be a better gamer than me," satoru replies dismissively, waving his hand.

kugi-saki: didn't he win the val championship last year?

"but i bet i'm hotter!"

toji-fushiguro: you wish

"fuck you, toji," satoru huffs indignantly. "well, how haven't i heard of this guy? if he's so famous and so hot, huh?" ignoring your snickers, satoru switches to another tab and types in the username. but when he clicks on the first link, nothing shows up. it's a blank profile, and satoru's jaw dropped.

"how the fuck am i blocked?!" he whines, flopping his head back on the headrest of his seat and pretending to faint. the chat floods with a thousand expressions of laughter, and you hop off your seat to go sit on the desk of satoru's desk, taking care to stay out of sight of his camera.

satoru opens one eye and squints it at you, lips forming a childish pout. he reaches out and twines his fingers with yours, completely ignoring his exploding comment section. you squeeze his hand gently and reach over his keyboard, hitting a key to mute his microphone.

"i can block him if you want," you offer, wrapping your other hand around satoru's. "and, for what it's worth, i think you're prettier than him."

satoru grins smugly at that, eyes softening more and more the longer they focus on you. "m'kay, thanks... wait, how do you know what he looks like?" he asks suspiciously, narrowing his eyes playfully.

"'cause i looked him up this morning."

your boyfriend sighs dramatically and pretends to faint again. when he reopens his eyes, there's a slightly new look in his eyes as he mumbles, "i wish people would stop hitting on you."

you reach out and touch his chin, forgetting that people on his stream could probably see your hand even if you two were on mute. "oh, i get that a lot," you tease, pinching his cheek affectionately. "but, honestly, you're the only one i wanna be with. even if that other guy buys me everything i could ever want, he's still not you."

satoru kisses the inside of your hand, eyes still fixed on you. "you do know that i'd buy you all of that and more if you asked, right?"

"i know. and i'd love you even if you were as broke as toji."

your side comment makes satoru throw his head back in laughter, and he shakes his head as a wide smile grows across his face. he pushes his chair closer to the desk and tilts his head up, minty taste fresh on his mouth as he smiles against your lips.

a bashful giggle slips past your lips as satoru kisses you again and again. from the corner of your eye, you can see that the two of you are just barely off-camera—in fact, anyone who's watching the stream can tell that the two of you are kissing, but you're still just out of sight.

"d'you want the new battle pass?" satoru mumbles against your lips, caressing the side of your face. you nod and grin, kissing the corner of his mouth.

"only you would talk about a battle pass while you're kissi—" satoru cuts you off with another kiss, stopping you from finishing your sentence.

"uh uh, shut up and let me kiss you. you're the prettiest girl i've ever seen n' i wanna enjoy you," satoru says plainly, gripping your chin in between his thumb and index finger. he tugs your lips on his again, and when he finally pulls away, he turns back to his screen and sticks out his tongue.

satoru unmutes himself and smiles smugly at the camera, face flushed pink from the way you had kissed him back. "well, at least that asshole doesn't have my pretty girlfriend, and he never fuckin' will."

mmm but. i miss pansyfemme as a url already. but im lowkey really tired of people sending me asks questioning terminology i have explained dozens of times in the past so ive been. stepping away a bit from the term femme- not because i dont identify with it anymore. just that this blog’s gotten a bit of attention lately, and while a lot of the circles ive always run in tend to know the history of the term femme is not one exclusive to one gender or identity, people seeing my posts on my dash send me a lot of asks about it in heavily varying levels of politeness. and while i have explained it with sources and everything in the past,, i kind of. hate doing that all the time and despite having a faq people still. dont read it. so i kinda. uh. more so just. dont feel like justifying myself ten times a day and i also. dont like ignoring the asks so.. it will be definitly a term i will still use but kind of dont want in my username anymore. does that make any sense.

my message to new/returning fans

as da4 approaches and the fandom changes, gaining both new and returning users, i want to state very clearly:

share your thoughts! it doesn't have to be "original" to be valuable! no more than it needs to conform to current fanon! you don't need to read everyone else's theories in order to state your own

I'm familiar with that pressure and how much it can dampen the urge to share, to actually engage with the broader fandom. even though i was there at the start of dai's fandom, i fell out of it for years and came back recently, and there was a definite undercurrent of pressure to a) conform to the theories already stated, especially by big name fans, and b) to only ever post a truly original theory

the former inherently limits fandom and treats it more like an academic field that one needs to be familiar with before stating anything; the latter is fundamentally ridiculous, since we're all engaging with the same source material and have the ability to perceive foreshadowing and explore what it means. the first person to perceive and write about a bit of foreshadowing has no more fundamental "right" to that perspective than the hundredth

it can also be hard to wade through the tags of a fandom that's been out for a decade+, especially if you like a character or ship that gets a lot of hate. that's exhausting and no one is obligated to do that research

you're not too late to the fandom to have theories, to post meta, or to express your feelings. those of us currently in the fandom would do well to remember that new people will be joining us and they likely won't even know the bloggers who have already posted meta, so seeing someone ask if xyz has ever been considered should be treated as a valid question. seeing someone say they've never seen ppl talking about xyz should be viewed as an invitation to (gently!) point to some people who have talked about it. "oh, if you're into this idea, you might like [username's] meta"

i think it's valuable to draw attention to the fact that a long-established fandom has been getting new blood throughout the whole time it's been here, and will be getting considerably more new blood soon, and that it might be worth adapting to that early. because regardless of any established fan's preferences, we are going to be getting new fans unfamiliar with established theories/fanon. and no one should be beholden to fanon anyway

but all this is to also say - new fandom members? i see you. I'm here for you. if you want to know what's been said, you can ask me and i will direct you as best i can; if you want to come up with stuff on your own, i support that. i will never come onto your posts to "disprove" your theory or to claim it's unoriginal

also, know that when you see vent posts where people are feeling annoyed about fans or complaining about them, they are almost certainly talking about fans who are engaging in discourse, are argumentative, or are otherwise being kinda shitty. i know - from personal experience! - how easy it is to take a vague vent post personally, especially when the kind of behavior they're actually annoyed by isn't clarified, but it's unlikely to be directed at fans who are engaging with curiosity and excitement. being new to a fandom is intimidating and as someone who's trying to be respectful, it can be so easy to internalize messages from people's venting, but fr, it's rarely about new fans and their conclusions. that said, if those posts bother you… unfollow! or block! blocking is not a mean or cruel action

find your niche, curate your experience, and you will definitely find people who support you. I've really enjoyed my time here and met many people i care about and respect, but it was a bit of an uphill struggle early on and i know a message like this from an established voice in fandom would have helped ease my own concerns coming into this space

hey, Aspen, can we talk?

Isa glanced down at the text she’d just written. She’d been wanting to do this for some time now, and she’d written dozens of variations of the text. Over and over she would type something out, then delete it. It never felt quite right. Even this newest version didn’t.

But it would have to do. 

Isa thought about it a second longer, then hit send.

Aspen responded late into the night with a Yeah, Isa, what’s up?

Isa glanced at the clock. 12:06. Uh oh. 

They said nothing good ever happened past midnight. They were probably right, whoever they were. But Isa picked up her phone anyway. She barely even registered what she was writing as she typed. Maybe it was better that way. 

yeah, so, I’ve been thinking about it. and I don’t think this fandom marriage stuff is working out for us. There. That was good. Succinct, without beating around the bush. This was good, right? 

The three dots signifying that Aspen was writing appeared. Isa watched the phone anxiously. She didn’t want to lose Aspen as a fandom friend, so it was critical that she paid full attention to what Aspen would say next so that she could direct the conversation as necessary. That was why she’d chosen to do this over text. That way she wouldn’t have to watch Aspen’s face as she was fandom dumped. And she wouldn’t have to worry about facial cues or body language.

Or maybe this was all a horrendous plan. Because Aspen’s response was You’re fandom divorcing me over TEXT???

Isa hadn’t expected the plan to go to hell quite so quickly. She considered throwing her phone onto her bed and ghosting Aspen for the night, but that wasn’t very mature. And it couldn’t get any worse than this, could it? She’d already hit rock-bottom. She’d planned on sugarcoating her real reasons for the fandom break-up, but now she decided honesty was the best policy. So she typed out yeah, uh, yeah. uh, I don’t know, I just feel like. like maybe we don’t click as well as I’d originally thought? sorry? I just feel like . . . yeah, nobody understands my Dexiana shipping QUITE the way you do, but I’m more than just that, you know? I love Sokeefe, too, and I just. I kinda wanna be fandom married to someone who is as obsessed with them as I am.

Well, it was certainly raw. Isa considered sending it the way it was, but decided to delete one of the yeah, uhs and one of the likes. Aspen might find it repetitive. 

Or maybe not, considering her Tumblr username. But by the time the thought had occurred to her, she’d already hit send. 

But who? came Aspen’s reply. And why so suddenly??? Now?

I don’t actually have anyone in mind. and I’ve felt this way for a while, Isa thumbed out. She wondered if she should leave it like that. But she decided to add, it’s not that I hate that you don’t ship Sokeefe! it’s just that. I feel like I’m not getting that with you. and surely you’re also bored of hearing me talk about them all the time? wouldn’t you prefer I dump that on someone who actually wants to hear it? this is better for both of us.

Three dots. Then they were gone. Then they were back. Gone again. Back and forth until Isa felt like she’d never see anything but disappearing and reappearing dots ever again. Like they were etched into the backs of her eyelids. 

Finally: Okay. Isa briefly wondered what Aspen’s original drafts had been, what had caused those endless vanishing dots, then decided she preferred not knowing. She raised her thumbs to the screen, wondering if her relationship to Aspen would survive this fandom break-up. If they would still be able to be co-queens of the Dexiana tag together. Maybe this was the tipping point. 

But she still cared about Aspen! She did! It just wasn’t like that. Ugh, why were fandom feelings so annoying? If only Aspen enjoyed mashing Sophie’s and Keefe’s mouths together like Barbie dolls the way she did. She shook her head. That was a petty thought. Aspen’s lack of Sokeefe shipping was a reason they shouldn’t be together, not a shortcoming. 

Perhaps there were people that enjoyed being fandom married to people that had irreconcilably different opinions than they did. Maybe they enjoyed arguing, fighting, trying to come out on top, or maybe they were just able to listen to the other’s passionate yapping without it affecting their relationship. But that wasn’t Isa. she just wanted to yap about Sokeefe making out to someone who was on the same wavelength as her. She was fairly certain Aspen was just as bored listening to her as Isa was talking at her. But Aspen’s boredom was probably not accompanied by frustration the way Isa’s was. 

So she wrote back: okay. yeah. so, uh, we’re good, then?

That turned out to be a mistake.

The solution to all problems in life was to get drunk. 

This was the thought that crossed Isa’s mind as she downed her third drink in one of Fandomland’s many bars.

Sober Isa would have never thought something like that. But drunk Isa was a completely different creature. 

After her horrendous fandom divorce and subsequent “trying to get my mind off my problems” rapid-fire rereading of one of her favorite Sokeefe makeout fics on AO3, she’d somehow made her way to the closest bar. Now, on the wrong side of three (or was it four?) drinks, she couldn’t remember exactly how she’d arrived. 

Oh, well.

Someone sat down on the stool beside her. Isa’s eyes were starting to go blurry, but she saw a flash of brown. Probably the person’s shirt. Or drink? No, that didn’t seem right.

Honestly, it could’ve been a werewolf cosplay and Isa wouldn’t have been any the wiser. 

She blinked at the person, trying to focus her eyes. It did not work. 

The person turned toward Isa and shot her what she assumed was a polite smile. “Too many drinks?” they asked. Or at least, that’s what Isa assumed.

“Yeah . . . I . . . just got . . . fand . . . du . . . dumped,” Isa slurred back. There was something wrong with that statement, but in her current state, Isa had no idea what it was. 

“Oh, rough.”

“Happened . . . to . . . you?”

“Technically, I was on the other end of it.” The person said something else, but Isa was having a hard time doing anything beyond keeping her head facing in the person’s general direction. Had she had another drink in the last ten minutes? She couldn’t remember it.

She squinted at the person, trying to see anything beyond a pale blur. Wait, there was another color there. Two blue flashes . . . earrings probably. 

“Well . . . mine was . . . shipping . . . she didn’t . . . ” Isa meant to finish “like mine”, but she trailed off. 

Here’s to hoping this random person I met two seconds ago in this crappy bar can read my mind. 

The person seemed to understand. “Yeah, fandom break-ups over shipping are the worst.”

“Aren’t . . . they . . . ” Isa was incapable of shaping her tone into a question, so she settled for trailing off again.

The person seemed to take it in stride. Isa decided they probably wouldn’t judge her if she sprawled on the table like a puddle of cheap beer spilled by a drunken bargoer. And closed her eyes. And she seemed to be able to listen to the person clearer while horizontal. They seemed to be trying to introduce themself, but hell if Isa could tell what they were saying. She nodded as if she understood what their name was (she didn’t) and slurred her own name back.

“Maybe we should have this conversation while you’re . . . ” Isa assumed the person had finished that sentence. Probably with “sober”. But she didn’t actually hear it. Her ears tuned back in at “ . . . if we were in the same fandoms. That would . . . ”

Isa mentally finished “be cool” for the person as her ears betrayed her again. The person said something about a war, which seemed a strange change of topic. They then added something else, which Isa assumed was them asking for her AO3. Exchanging AO3s at the bar . . . how stereotypical. And while drunk, no less.

Isa was incapable of any basic motor skills, so she slurred her AO3 username out and added “No . . . underscores. The . . . P and S are . . . cap . . . it . . . ”

She could’ve sworn the person was laughing, but she couldn’t be sure. At what, Isa had no idea. She felt something press into her hand and realized it was a slip of paper with the person’s AO3. She tried to read it, but her eyes were having a hard time focusing. Oh, well. A job for sober Isa. 

She fumbled with her phone since it was the only thing in her line of sight, and therefore, the only thing she was particularly aware of, besides the person. Somehow she managed to pop the case and slide the person’s AO3 into it. She was vaguely aware of the person helping her clasp her case back onto her phone. 

“ . . . go, Isa . . . meeting . . . fanfics about . . . sober . . . ” was all Isa caught of the person’s goodbye. Mostly, she was relieved she hadn’t managed to mispronounce or miscommunicate her own name. That would have been embarrassing.

“Bye . . . ” Isa said, almost blacking out on the word. She managed to stumble to the door, seconds or minutes later, she wasn’t really sure. 

Oh, well.

I really hope you (and Katie) enjoyed my fic! Please tell me if it was accurate and if you want any more chapters. This was really fun to write and I've already started thinking about ideas for chapter two (AKA: Isa wakes up with a nasty hangover).

Why you ship Ray & Emma? (I'm also a rayemma shiper btw :3 )

There are numerous reasons why I ship them, some of those reason will might foolish / selfish but here we go. (Sorry this answer might be a little long😅)

First things first:

I would like to establish that this post isn't a hate crime against other TPN ships.

You like NorEmma? Wonderful! NorRay? Good! REN (aka: NorRayEmma)? Great! Or any other (reasonable) ship? Yay! Good for you!

Hop on buddies, this is an ocean cruiser with multiple floors and lots of spaces. Dear tpn community, y'all are welcome on board🥰.

Also... I only ship them under these terms:

-In canon: I age them up, because using their canon ages would be weird.

-Story set in Post-canon, in the Human World is okay.

-No 18+ scenes. Under no circumstances I'm willing to write/draw/read a scene like that. Kissing is fine though 🥰.

Now with that settled, I continue with...

Reasons why I ship RayEmma:

1) Their overall dynamic:

Ray sassing over every decision Emma made (for the sole purpose to improve her plan) in season 1 was so funny to me. I natural fond of sassy, book-smart characters so yeah. Emma bubbly, hopeful and naive (in season 1) personality completing Ray's so perfectly.

Then in the manga, they're like the ultimate power couple for me. Goldy Pond was Emma's time to shine as an individual and Ray was 100000% supportive and didn't get jealous of her successes.

In the King of Paradise Arc. Yes Ray kinda agrees with Norman to kill all demons but I think he just tried to act as the moderator between his two friends so their friendship doesn't receive a lethal blow. After the argument he seeks out where is Emma and reassures her that whatever she decides he will support her decision. (What is intimate if not that?)

Seven Walls is the RayEmma Arc of tpn and you can't change my mind about it 🤣. Was my favourite Arc when I first read it and it always will be. Surviving a bored Demon God mind plays and stepping into its realm together (while holding hand I might ad)

2) Day and Night allegations:

Even Shirai and Demizu brings up this allegation. They usually using it around either Mujika and Sonju or Emma and Ray. Which speaks volumes for me.

Search for Kvathidala Arc proves this when they go to the demon temples and stand under the painted ceiling.

3) They remind me of my favourite couple of my childhood Anne and Gilbert.

When writing my tpn fanfic their interactions almost writes itself. Somehow it feels natural to me how they interact. Maybe it's just my overthinking, but I got pretty good in analysing how their scenes should go. Scizor’s always full of energy, which is real nice considerin how I found him. Don’t really know what happened with him, but he’s gotta lot of sun bleaching and scratches on his exoskeleton. He’s a lot smaller than most Scizor, but he thinks he’s smaller and lighter than he is so he likes to lay on me.

Masquerain’s an odd one. started followin me one day and didn’t stop till I offered them a pokeball. Flies faster upside down, which is hella weird. I wake up to them starin me down sometimes?? Pals with my Ariados.

Pincir’s prolly my smartest. mold breaker’s damn useful on him and he likes it when it trips up people we’re fightin. Real menace. Helps me with sudoku sometimes which is kinda fuckin scary.

Vikavolt’s protective and real good at trackin folks down and gettin me places. He never forgets a face or a place, so he’s my livin map. He likes bein scratched on the outside of his mandibles.

Ariados is real stocky and level headed, so he balances Masquerain out. His old trainer was real fuckin nasty to him so I beat him down and he gave me Ariados. he’s still kinda independent and makes his own webs to sleep in sometimes.

Joltik’s not one I bring out to battle, but I found her with Vikavolt. think they’re family so I had to get em both. she’s real sweet and I spend time with her sometimes when it’s real late and I can’t sleep. Gives me static electricity shocks by accident sometimes.

Venipede’s pretty new. got it on here a few weeks back from my pal Dashy. ‘pparently some bad guys dumped it at zeir gym door, so i’m tryna help it feel better for the time being. It’s real fast, and it goes for walks with me and Golisopod. Thinkin it might evolve sometime, so tryna prepare for that.

Just got a Nymble egg in the mail, so i’ll prolly be gettin one of those soon enough. Real hyped for it!

some tips for having a relaxing dashboard and avoiding stressful content

this is for people like me who sometimes struggle a little bit with website settings and social media apps and tech related to it. "I already knew all of those" ok then fuck off and let me give tips to people who actually have a life outside of the internet on how to get rid of insufferable pests like you and have a relaxing, healthy and fun time online

I'm gonna show you how to hide posts with a specific type of content using tumblr's default settings and two google chrome/opera extensions you can use. You might be able to find an alternative for these two if one of them isn't available for your preferred browser. Some of them have chrome extension compatibility - like opera gx, which is my preferred browser - so i would recommend searching if your browser is compatible with chrome extensions before you find alternatives

First, you'll go to Settings

then you'll scroll down until you find the Visible content options. It's in portuguese because i'm from brazil but i assume you can still kinda understand a little bit

censored tags and words for privacy. The tags one is to filter out posts with a specific tag and the second is to filter out posts that have a specific word in general.

there's also adult content filter under the visible content settings.

Now for the extensions

I use two different extensions because one of them can hide tumblr ads. These are available for Chrome and Firefox.

Xkit allows you to hide ads and Tumblr savior allows you to actually hide posts instead of just blurring them like tumblr does by default and consequently reminding you of the content you didn't want to remember in the first place.

Late edit adding something i forgot to add: Tumblr savior allows you to hide content posted or reblogged by a specific user, you can paste their username on the "black list" option and it won't show anything they posted or reblogged anymore, unless their post has a specific content you put on your whitelist, which is content that you do want to see in your dashboard.

Tumblr savior also allows you to hide whole sentences from a post, For example: a sentence like "ai generated". Instead of hiding posts that have either "ai" or "generated", it'll hide posts that have specifically the sequence "ai generated".

i censored my blacklist because there are usernames there lolllll

and another tip i can give you. It's okay to unfollow. It's okay to block. It's okay if there won't be the "mutuals" badge anymore, it doesn't mean you hate them and you're not a bad person for not wanting to see posts from someone that remind you of things you don't feel comfortable remembering or that even trigger traumatic memories back or pre-existing issues. You can unfollow or block, and if they get hurt, it's not your problem. They're the one hurting you.

how many works do you have on ao3?

I only have 10 on ao3, I originally started writing on fanfiction.net in like 2011 or something, and no one will ever get that username out of me lol I would've deleted the account but I don't want to be the kind of fic writer that deletes things just because I'm not proud of them anymore.

I used to cross-post everything from ao3 on there because it's the roots of why I enjoy fanficiton, but I don't anymore, mostly because it's a lot of work and I get frustrated with not being able to tag things + having to write super short summaries.

currently at 345,703 & will be at about 400k when I finish posting my wip

3. what fandoms do you write for?

Glee, and it's surprisingly always been Glee. That's taken different forms over the years, like there were several years where I wasn't posting anything and was just doing some silly little instagram rp with some great friends I made. But Glee is how I discovered fanfiction in the first place, and it's consistently been the one fandom I feel connected enough to write this much about.

I have dabbled in other things over time - wrote a Girl Meets World fic I never finished, got really into some teen shows like Pretty Little Liars, 90210, Gossip Girl, etc. when I was a teenager. But I've pretty consistently only posted glee fics.

5. do you respond to comments? why or why not?

Yes, I try to respond to every comment unless it's super short/I have nothing to say. I usually try to avoid spoilers, and I generally like to treat comments more as my opportunity to make friends/chat with readers about the characters/the ship/the plot.

6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Definitely 11:11, it's a canon compliant one shot about slushy-gate which basically just involves Sebastian and Blaine both independently being angsty about everything that went down and wondering what went wrong in their friendship, and by the time Sebastian comes around and apologizes, it's too late.

Some of my other one shots don't necessary have happy endings, but they do have optimistic endings, so I think 11:11 is the only one that counts as straight up angst.

7. what's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

I think Something More - don't wanna spoil it, but I think that's the nature of writing a fic where the characters are a little older and you can just feel that the happy ending is permanent, rather than when they're teenagers and happy endings can be very short lived.

8. do you get hate on fics?

Not really, and I can be kinda sensitive lol so I'm glad I don't.

Most of the time if I do get hate, it's not criticizing me as a writer but rather criticizing the way the characters are behaving (which I guess is a reflection of me as a writer because sometimes it's because they don't like the way I've written characters), but I can move past that pretty easily because I realize everyone has different head canons, especially for characters like Sebastian who get like less than 10 episodes of canon screen time.

9. do you write smut? if so, what kind?

Not really? I mean, some of the things I've written toe the line between smut and fade to black (like How Bright We Burn, For Real This Time, & The Way I Loved You, mostly) but I like to think I do so in a way that is way more focused on feelings and emotions than what body part goes where. Even in How Bright We Burn where sex is like a very big part of their arc, most of the way you know what's going on is from Blaine's inner monologue or Sebastian's jokes, not so much from me just like describing the scene.

I mostly don't think I'm great at writing smut, and I've found I really like the style of writing about sex that like Casey McQuiston uses in "Red, White, & Royal Blue" where it's not smut but rather indirectly describing what's going down with a huge focus on the emotions at play. If you've read the book, I feel like you'd understand what I mean, but I don't know how else to describe it.

10. do you write crossovers? what's the craziest one you've ever written?

I do not, mostly because there's not really a fandom I'm as passionate about as Glee that I feel like could go well together. I do hope some day I find the inspiration to write a Flash/Glee crossover fic, but who knows. Back in like 2011 when I first started writing fanfiction, I would sometimes include like one or two characters from other fandoms, maybe as like a roommate when a character went to college or as some background character, but nowadays I prefer to write OCs for those purposes.

11. have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of, but who knows honestly. I did have some writing I did on a fandom Instagram at one point + some edits stolen, and it was crazy because they blocked me so that I wouldn't find out but didn't bother to block any of my friends.

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

nope :) I feel like someone asked me once if they could, but I never heard anything back from them after I said yes.

13. have you ever cowritten a fic before?

No, but I did some Instagram RP back in the day that felt very much like co-writing. I had this Klaine RP that really helped me develop the way I write Blaine, and I think I had a Blam one too. But I enjoyed writing the friendships a lot more. I was Blaine and really close with someone who played Tina & someone who played Brittany, so those friendships became super important to me.

14. fave all time ship?

I mean,, my favorite to write is Seblaine and I'm obsessed with them. Their relationship is so special to me and I've never enjoyed writing about anyone as much as I do with them. I've been a Glee fan since I was in middle school when it was still on air, but I never really shipped them to this extent until I rewatched for the 800th time during the pandemic. Since then, they've been my OTP. They're both just very dynamic characters with infinite writing potential, and I love that neither of them is perfect, and there's so much from canon left unsaid that I get to explore. I'm also a sucker for friends to lovers and enemies to lovers, and Seblaine has elements of both.

But some other favorite ships include Wolfstar (Harry Potter), firstprince (Red, White, & Royal Blue), Gallavich (Shameless), Shara & Chloe (I Kissed Shara Wheeler), Evelyn & Celia (The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo), Nick & Jess (New Girl), Barney & Robin (How I Met Your Mother), & Jake & Amy (Brooklyn 99).

15. wip you want to finish but doubt you will?

I honestly don't have many of these, mostly because I tend to write entire projects at a time then move onto something else, at least with fanfiction. But I do have this little spooky halloween one shot au I started like two years ago and haven't felt motivated to finish because I'm just not good at writing spooky things.

I also have this sort of longfic I worked on for a really long time as a way to deal with something going on in my life, but I doubt I will ever finish it or post any of it because it's lowkey traumatic (deals with like car accidents & the death of a child) and I doubt anyone would be interested in reading something like that. It's Seblaine but involves a lot of Glee characters I haven't written beyond brief scenes in like 10+ years, like Finn, Rachel, Quinn, etc.

16. what are your writing strengths?

I like to think I'm good at writing like anxiety and very detailed internal monologues. I sometimes feel like I include too much of it, but it's always come very naturally to me. I also think I've gotten a lot better in the last year or so at writing funny side characters and dialogue in a group setting.

And I think I've gotten a lot better at writing chemistry and building that chemistry over time instead of skipping to the good part right away - the evolution of that skill to me is very apparent in how I wrote For Real This Time vs. How Bright We Burn.

17. what are your writing weaknesses?

lol smut

I also think I tend to not trust myself enough and end up writing exactly what's going on instead of like implying it. I just want readers to understand so bad that I sometimes feel the need to explicitly say what a character is thinking or feeling, which isn't always what you want, especially when it's a character whose POV I'm not writing.

Also I think my sentence structure can be kinda not great. I write really long wordy run-on sentences too often when it should probably be reserved as a narrative device.

18. thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?

I know a lot of French - I took it for five and a half years and keep up with it on Duolingo so I don't forget anything. I wouldn't call myself fluent, but I can generally understand it in reading and writing. That's the only language I'd be comfortable writing in other than English, which is SO convenient because you know who else is fluent in French? Sebastian ;)

20. fave fic you've written?

How Bright We Burn! It is my nature that whatever I'm working on at that moment is my favorite thing. I'm really proud of the slow burn in that fic and the character development work I've done for Blaine and Sebastian but also for the side characters like Nick, Jeff, etc. and even my OCs like Ethan. But I'm even more excited about the sequel because it's something I've never really attempted to this extent before, and that's the thing that I'm actively working on since How Bright We Burn is done other than some minor editing.

This one i stared on a while ago, the actual writing needs a lot of edits but i'm obsessed with the plot, after Green loses he flees to Kalos, changes his name to Blue and becomes the champion there, everything is great until Red randomly shows up to learn how to mega evolve his charizard, Red obvs knows who he is, they deal with things, red can't mega evolve at first, it's fun orrrr my hs au that i mentioned earlier, or the ones where green becomes a coordinator, either after losing or instead of battling, in 2024 i'm releasing more pokespe works and branching out on some of the ship stuff, gonna publish a few silver/gold, lance/cynthia, and a few others,

Just keep writing, not everything will be amazing, but everything can be edited and rewriten

Green loses his memories after an accident during a battle

Red felt a tap on his shoulder, who would be bothering him this late? He turned to none other than the person he had been avoiding.

Green smiled up at Red. Red looked around for an exit.

“You’ve been avoiding me.” He stated flatly, a finger poking Red’s chest.

“Maybe.” Red said, looking away. He attempted to make eye contact with any of his pokemon to get them to create a distraction.

“It’s okay, I know why.” Green said, Red stuck his hands in his pockets and looked down at the ground. 

Instead of retreating, Green got closer right inside of Red’s personal space. He placed his hands on Red’s chest. Red was suddenly worried Green was going to push him. Was he angry? He wouldn’t have had any memories of the championship would he? Maybe he read up on it? Red knew he was physically stronger than Green, but Green had been hurt recently, and he really didn’t want to have to get into a fight with him tonight.

“I may not remember all of the events that took place to get us here, but there’s no way I could forget these feelings.” And with that Green crossed the short distance and pressed his lips to Red’s. 

Wait, what?!

Green pulled away and looked up at Red through his long eyelashes. He leaned up and pressed another chaste kiss to Red’s lips. 

“Sorry Red, I don’t remember anything about you except for how much I love you. I look at you and I get the warmest most wonderful feeling in my chest. I feel like I’m flying on the clouds when I think about you. I love you Red.” Green wrapped his arms around Red’s waist and laid his head against his chest.

My omegaverse mpreg red one, that's not even published lol (may not ever be published hahaa)

probably kudos and hits, but really it's if i go back and reread it over and over again, everything i write is self indulgent so

i can't think if it, but there's little phrases or hcs that pop up in a ton of them

📚 Would you ever want to turn writing into a career?

nope i do it for fun, if it became a job it wouldn't be fun anymore, although i am published it's technical accounting writing, and i do eventually plan on getting my phd once princess is older, so maybe? But that writing is research not fiction lol

⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?

I'm a ridiculously fast typer, 34 words per minute is my average, 10k is a typical length, but my achilles heel is that i skip around a ton from fic to fic, so it may take months to get a fic done even though it's only 12k words

🤯 What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

I suck at writing battles, working on improving my smut skills though!

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

Yes, cried writing ode to my soulmate, Lost (cried a bunch on that one and ended up calling my cousin and we talked for a few hours because i miss him), then this one break up fic called RIP that i'm not sure how it's going to end, i usually write a happy ending but i might leave them broken up idk

💥 How do you feel about criticism?

I don't handle it well, i don't like it, it makes me not want to write even if it has good intentions, sometimes i'll read wips that stopped posting years ago, and i'll check out the comments on the last chapter and i'll see criticism and it pisses me off cause i think, 'hm did the author give up because of this shitty comment??'

🤭 Do you have a favorite tag to use when posting your works?

I am so bad at tagging, like minimal tagging, i tag triggers but the rest i suck at, i don't do any of the cutesy ones

🥰 How do you feel about reader interaction? Are you open to receiving questions about your fics?

Friends, romans, countrymen, lend me your ear, please do this. i will happily write out a writers commentary of my fics, or maybe if my voice wasn't so annoying i'd make a video with a dramatic reading and a dvd style commentary
