TW's: yandere content, 90% of the characters are mentally ill already so like they're crazy, the term 'chubby chaser' is used, pre-established relationships for some of them (angry, draken, chifuyu), I tried to avoid any manga spoilers but pls tell me if I missed anything lmao, unhealthy relationships, unhealthy coping mechanisms (HEAVY on Mikey), the word homicide is used once (1), 

✧ Mikey is the most paranoid, if I'm being completely honest. He's lost so many people and Mikey is genuinely terrified of his darling dying. He literally has nightmares about his darling being killed, so while he's extremely good at hiding it, Mikey is incredibly paranoid. Due to his paranoia, Mikey tends to kind of isolate his darling. Doesn't full on kidnap them exactly, but there's a very obvious power imbalance between Mikey and his darling. He has clear control over them, and it's kind of like he has an invisible leash around them. It's okay, though! He's not mean at all! 

✧ on the other hand, there's Souya. He's sweet, abnormally so, when it comes to his darling. Literally all he wants to do is take care of them and make sure that they're happy. Souya is one of the yanderes that I can see being in an actual relationship with his darling. He's kind of shy when it comes to them, so Smiley basically acts like his wingman in the early stages of Souya's infatuation. It's kind of hard to avoid being with Souya, too. Smiley, if his brother's darling isn't cooperative, will literally threaten them into being with Souya. He just wants his twin to be happy! 

✧ speaking of him, Nahoya is literally so funny to me because he's completely aggressive for like no reason. I'm not saying he's violent with his darling, he's just so loud and proud about how he feels about them. His confession was kind of embarrassing and I can imagine that his darling kind of ignored him afterward LMAO. He was like, "YO, I LITERALLY LOVE YOU SO MUCH~" in front of a bunch of people and the way he said it was so aggressive. He's extremely clingy, even if he isn't necessarily in a relationship with them yet. He's the type to tell everyone that he's their boyfriend and future husband, Nahoya's a total menace. 

✧ the only way to describe Draken is a huge guard dog. Much like with Angry, I can see him actually being in a relationship with his darling. He's such a devoted significant other, too! Draken'll literally do anything for his darling, he's so loyal and honestly sweet that it's hard not to love him. He's kind of blunt with his feelings, though, and his red flags are so clear it's almost pathetic. He'll literally tell his darling that seeing them with other people makes him feel like committing homicide and act like it's nothing out of the ordinary. He makes up for it, though, so his darling kind of ignores that. 

✧ lol Chifuyu gets so frustrated when he first realizes that he's fallen so hard for someone. He gets weirdly mad about it, too, and Baji ends up mercilessly teasing him about it. Baji probably ends up confessing for Chifuyu, too, which he absolutely does on accident. Like, he was so used to teasing Chifuyu that he accidentally let it slip in front of Chifuyu's darling. He was so mad, too, but he got over it because it eventually led to him dating his darling. A thing to watch out for with Chifuyu is how jealous and possessive he can get sometimes. He's almost as bad as Draken, almost.

Definitely rob a bank. I mean, he has tried to, multiple times, but Lucifer has always maanged to stop him before he could do any damage. MC is complaining about not having enough money to buy something and jokingly says "we could always rob the nearest bank". He looks at them, mesmerized, blue eyes shining with expectation, until they explain it is just a joke...

B is for Butterflies: How they act when they’re nervous

Trembles a lot, his voice gets more squeaky and he's looking around for ways to escape. Really fast when running from people and will literally jump out of a window instead of facing Lucifer.

C is for Crush: what is it like when they have a crush? How do they know/act?

Acts like he doesn't care about them, but it's painfully obvious by how flushed he gets and how much he's stuttering. Would try to spend more time with them, using all the excuses in the book instead of just being honest.

D is for Date: describe an ideal date for them

Honestly, a simple day with them, maybe watching a movie or playing games. Snacks next to them and a bunch of blankets and pillows lying around.

E is for Essential: what is one thing they could NEVER go without

Apart from Goldie, I think it's lip balm. Boy's a model, he can't be caught with chapped lips. Most people don't notice it, so when MC starts giving him random lip balm flavours as gifts he treats them like the best thing ever, and make a fuss out of using it in front of them as much as he can (don't tease him tho, or he'll get a bit sad and probably stop it).

F is for Favorite: a favorite anything- food, place, smell, book, etc.

Apart from money, his second favourite thing is his crows. He finds them really cute, and always keeps the gifts they give him. He taught them how to swear and used to have them steal Lucifer's expensive pens before the older brother found out about it.

G is for Giggle: how they laugh/what makes them laugh

He has a really cute and high pitched laugh, and is absolutely not embarassed about it. Boy laughs at everything, can't keep a straight face to save his life, which ends up getting him in trouble with Lucifer often.

H is for Holding Hands: Do they like holding hands? Are their hands warm or cold? Pinky promises?

His hands are really warm, if he notices MC's hands are even slightly cold, he'll wrap his around them quickly, trying to help out. He loves holding hands while linking arms, keeping them as close as possible. Doesn't really do pinky promises, but that's mostly because he trusts them and doesn't need the affirmation as much.

I is for Inside Joke: something they do that everyone thinks is funny but they don’t understand

All of his brothers compare him to his crows because of the amount of times he runs his hands through his hair. They joke about him preening himself and very rarely caw around him.

J is for Jinx: Are they Superstitious?

Not really, he knows the risks of cursed objects and wrongly casted spells, but there's almost always a logical explanation in some book in Satan's room, so he's okay with it.

K is for Kiss: how do they kiss?

Lots of small pecks on their face before going for a longer kiss on their lips.

L is for Love Languge: what is their love language? How do they give and how would they like to receive love?

Definitely gives love via gifts, he can be pretty stingy with his money, so if he buys you something it's a clear sign that you mean a lot to him. Loves physical touch, run your hands through his hair or hug him from behind and he'll melt happily in your arms.

M is for Meant to be: how/when they know someone is “the one”

If he notices their compliments are genuine. Many people use him for his status, ãnd he's used to being offended and used as a punching bag, so genuine compliments are a breath of fresh air, and automatically makes you go up on his personal ranking.

N is for Nickname: a nickname they would have or their favorite thing to be called

Would absolutely use Treasure as a nickname, or Sunshine. He loves being called Pretty Boy, Good Boy, and Handsome.

O is for Organization: are they clean or messy?

Have you seen his room lmao?? Messy bitch and you know it, but he can always find everything he needs in his mess.

When he's stressed out and needs to take a break he plays Solitaire by himself. After MC moves in with them, he goes to their room and jumps onto their bed, watching them study or play games in silence.

Enjoys rain, hates thunder. Spends rainy days playing games inside, or wrapped in blankets, protecting himself from the loud noise with some loud cancelling headphones Levi lends to him.

S is for Soft: Describe their softest feature

Man is absurdly kind, helps anyone he notices struggling, and will hate it when it gets mentioned. Enjoys just knowing he did a good thing, and always ends up in a good mood afterwards.

T is for Telephone: are they a talker or a texter? How often do they use their phone?

Both, loves spamming people with texts if they don't answer right away. Could spend the entire day on the phone if it's with someone he likes. Alternatively, if it's someone he doesn't like, you can expect one worded messages and call being ignored constantly. He is more used to ignoring problems than confronting them.

U is for Unique: a random quirk they have

Really good with Math and numbers in general. His voice is surprisingly soothing, which surprises MC, considering how much they hear him screaming. It's really easy to fall asleep hearing him speak about something.

V is for Valentine: Are they the type to celebrate or not?

Absolutely, he'd be shy about it, but at the same time would want to do something big. Baby is conflicted.

W is for Wholesome: something extremely pure about them that makes you just *uwu*

How easily he blushes. He could just brush his hand against MC's and is already red all the way to his chest.

X is for Xenia: How they would entertain a guest/show hospitality

Probably the one that gives guests the tour of the entire place, offering snacks and making lighthearted jokes.

Magic Chris and his boyfriend, shape shifter kitten Sebastian.

Chris always calls Sebastian his "kitten" because he has to okay?

1) He's a shape shifter so he's a literal cat sometimes and 2) he's practically a kitten in human form anyway- always eager for touch and affection, lying in the sun, taking cat-naps if he can't get his coffee in the morning, a little shy when he's not around someone he's comfortable with. And because of that little endearment/inside joke an idea gets born of Sebastian being Chris' sex kitten.

Then they have an extra long weekend to themselves so Chris charms Sebastian to have cat ears and a tail without fully turning. Leaving his body human along with his mind.

Chris also gives Sebastian a charmed drink that provides him with a pseudo heat.

as for dates, to me he seems the type to be into really spontaneous and random things!! He’d love going somewhere fun or just simply randomly travelling with you without a destination!

you know, i wish i had more. when it comes to this fandom i read so many one-shots but it feels like it's been FOREVER since i read a really good, really long fic. they're defo out there! i am just too lazy to go looking and have a crazy reading list as it is lmao, so i don't know how much help i can be but i'll do my best.

firstly, you can't beat the classics. most likely you've already read these because they're most people's gateway drug to coldflash (they certainly were mine!) but they're classics for a reason:

- an all too jagged snowflake by redhead (276k). otherwise known as baby's first coldflash fic, the one that turned me into the coldflash-obsessed gremlin i am today. i'm always a sucker for a soulmate au and this one is deliciously angsty.

- tumbling together by redhead. (178k.) another gem. barry and len end up unexpected neighbours. this one is so funny i genuinely sometimes just start thinking about The Dick and cackling like a maniac. totally normal behaviour. (if you've read it you'll know what i mean.)

- got a melancholic temperament (that's what he said to me) by redhead. (77k). ooh, this one hurts. len and lisa get deaged, meaning barry suddenly has a sulky, nineteen-year-old leonard snart living in his house. len is PAINFUL in this fic. i wanna hug him but tbh he'd probably shiv me.

and of course you can't go wrong with crimson's fics, but here are a few standouts:

- public enemy, undercover lover by crimson1 (95k. a true behemoth of the smutty variety.) this one's less a longfic in itself and more a series of connected smutty one shots, but it's honestly peak content if you're into that sort of thing.)

after vertigo by crimson1 (70k.) a really fun role reversal au where barry is a super-speedy thief and len is a shy virgin scientist. i'm not usually one for AUs when it comes to this ship, but this one just kind of re-envisions canon a bit and it's really fun, very different from the usual coldflash dynamic.

aaaand devastatingly i genuinely cannot think of any more off the top of my head, which is really a bit shameful. i mostly seem to see one-shots floating across my dash (i have recs for those for days haha.)

BUT here's a list of ones that i've marked for later on ao3 that i WANT to read:

- probletunity by haute_coldture (53k.) who doesn't love a heist fic? and i've wanted to see this kind of coldflash team-up ever since that one ep where barry and ralph infiltrated the party with the weapons auction.

- i think i love you by youmakemesoangry. (53k, still ongoing.) unrequited love babeyyy!! all i really know is that len is in love with barry, barry has no idea and it's angsty af. this one comes highly recommended and will probably destroy me which is why i've been too much of a baby to read it considering there's no guarantee of a HEA. but it sounds so good and one day i'll be brave and dive in.

- drunk minds speak sober hearts by m4x_87. (41k.) barry gets whammied by biovolo and it makes him fall head over heels for len. this is a trope i am deeply fond of so i'm excited to read this.

- wonderland by notenuffcaffeine/technologykilledreality. (66k.) a rogue air spinoff that ends with barry and len BOTH going down for lewis' murder, stuck in iron heights. listen. iron heights fics are my jam. i love them SO much. i cannot wait for this.

and not to shamelessly self plug, but if you're in the mood for something really, outlandishly, self-indulgently, insensibly long, my fic aftermath is over 500k, which makes it the second-longest coldflash fic on ao3! (am i mad that someone beat me to the top spot by about 200k? yes, but only moderately lmaooo.) it's a rewrite of season 1 but barry and len are dating from the onset. now can i RECOMMEND this one? well, that'd be egotistical and honestly it's been so long since i read it that i cannot speak for the quality, but other people seemed to like it and it definitely fits the 'long' brief haha

 he also uses tons of emoticons. and yes I do mean emoticons, baby boy has a flip phone. ifhe does eventually get a smart phone, then this boy overuses tf out of emojis. he’s the sort of person that sees someone use a combination of emojis he likes and then tries to copy them, but uses it completely incorrectly, but its v cute.

if you send him a meme, he will respond with an unnecessary amount of hahas. 

when he’s texting his lil bae, they’re always on his mind so he ofc texts them every thought that comes to his mind! when he sees something that reminds him of you, he won’t hesitate to share it with you. 

if you have been together for a long time, then we will definitely text you words of affirmation and be very honest/blunt about how he feels about you. he’s also always sure to ask you about your day - and he seriously cares. but i still i feel like with a s/o he would prefer facetime to texting just because he likes to see you :)

my bias might be showing here, but I feel like he is one of the most well-adjusted boys in terms of being ready for a serious relationship tbh (at least post-high school). i mean we all saw that he regularly corresponded with wakana wish that were me lmao

i think he would most often use proper capitalization, but not to the point where he uses a period after every text

would send his friends news articles about his favorite fighting games where u like gaming or not

a meme fiend in general. the sort of person who uses reaction images of people he knows. (if you’re dating, he would still have a stash of funny pics/screenshots of you on ft, but he’d ofc only use them with you <3). his convos with his friends are rarely serious

 i don’t think he’d be the type to text haha out loud, but he does use LOL on occasion. with close friends/his lil bae he might send a voice memo of him laughing hysterically if you send him something REALLY funny. ugh my annoying king <3

unlike eijun he’s the king of being perceptive / picking up subtext.

i feel like he also likes deep-fried memes or the very abstract, post-modern memes. miyuki is good at making other people laugh, but he has a generally very-off brand humor and the things that make him cackle hardest are either at someone else’s expense (very similar to kuramochi, so they bond a lot over that) or just indiscernible without access to a huge layer of context/background

saves the reaction photos kuramochi sends him, but doesn’t usually use them. but seeing an ugly pic of eijun yelling never fails to make him grin LMAO

i think he also texts A LOT about baseball, even more so than these other baseball dummies. texts his teammates a lot of articles he reads or clips from games/cool plays. this is mostly about texts, but in terms of social media I think miyuki uses twitter/instagram the most especially for baseball related reasons, while kuramochi uses snapchat the most. 

he probably texts a lot about baseball as well, both seriously and playfully

i can see him using hahas and LOLs in equal measure, but he would also utilize the haha reaction if he had an iphone. this boy does value his wit so he would definitely have commentary about any memes or jokes he’s sent

he’s kinda clingy on the low so i think he’d prefer a partner that’s more open with their affection via text than he is. he would live for your random ilys or whatver throughout the day. also would not mind at all if you updated him on your actions throughout the day or sent him snaps - might not be able to respond to everything, but will react and appreciate it. very likely to make jokes about whatever you’re doing.

would also apologize over text. he’s not always used to apologizing can be awkward about it, so text makes it easier for him.

he would use emojis w you in a joking/ironic way. would absolute use those dumb but genius emoji combinations

uses punctuation. always. exclamation marks are used sparingly to express excitement.

 but you know what he is so PASSIONATE about whatever he’s talking about that his passion bleeds into his text through sheer quantity of words and depth of thought. ultimately, all his conversations end up being extremely flavorful in terms of content. he is surprisingly good at having deep conversations over text.

he’s better at holding conversations with more extroverted personalities, truthfully.

he’s another one who sends random things to people when he thinks about them. miyuki of course gets so many texts/thoughts about shogi. if you get a random haiku, poem, or quote from testu, that means you’re blessed enough to be in his inner circle! he definitely thought of you when he read it and and wants you to respond!

with bae: he doesn’t really change up his texting style tbh, but he has a stronger outward reaction to what YOU text in response.

definitely the type to smile almost imperceptibly at his phone as he texts you, even if you send him something like “hey i’m at the store, want anything?”

he’s not great as verbal affection early in the relationship, so you’ll have to discern his love/affection. however baby boy is NOT afraid to just straight up say he loves you, he does it all the time and early.

he’s KNOWN for being reliable and responsible, so he will be at your beck and call when he’s able to for anything you need, but his heart is also warmed by the thought of you reciprocating that care. if your texts show him you’re thinking of him just like he does too. he’s very gentle and sweet, and checks up on you when he’s able to see if you need anything at all.

he might be reliable, but that doesn’t mean that he’s the quickest guy to respond to texts. he’s a busy guy, and he doesn’t think about his phone all the time, but he will always get back to you (bae does not play when it comes to completing things).

if they came up with a shogi game for gamepidgeon and tetsu had an iphone, your phone probably would be spammed with requests for games lol.

I've been told by coworkers I'm probably the most chill/calm person they've met which is funny because I usually am an anxious mess on the inside waiting to release it in private lol.

I'd say I'm also kinda goofy? Like, I love making jokes at my own expense and sometimes need to control myself to not giggle at things I see in public. I also tend to accidently tune out people when I get too distracted by whatever has my attention. It's to the point where my friends say "right y/n?" and I say "yup" with no prior knowledge

I often try to not engage in a lot of conversation with new people. I like to listen to what they talk about and pry with maybe a question here or there, but when I get comfortable enough I can go on a tangent on stuff i like

If I was in a serious situation, I would say I kinda turn into the mom friend trope? Like, I am immediately ready to help and will feel the need to watch over anyone who needs help. But, my anxiety can take over and lead me to just taking a step back and watching from afar.

I LOVE horror. More specifically I like horror mysteries. I like horror movies, but they only give the same rush of adrenaline a rollercoaster can give me. I like horror novels and Arg's cause I want my puny little mind to work for the answers. I also love video games! Obviously horror games, but I also enjoy DnD, rhythm games, and rpg games. I also do cosplay as well.

Abi!!!

Abi is literally the sweetest person alive, like whenever you're super anxious she'll be right there. She's not great at comfort so she'll try to distract you by her drawing, she prefers to draw you over anything else. You're just so beautiful to her :) She gets spooked very easily so everytime theres a jump scare in a horror movie she clings onto you, sometimes hiding her face into the crook of her neck. She loves it when you go on your little tangents especially when its something she really loves. Like you know that little squeal she made when she saw the baby hog? She does that. She's very shy but with you it's like she's a whole other person. Her love language is definitely touch so prepare for late night cuddles. She's not much of a gamer but she does like to watch you game, especially after you go on your tangents about how good the game is. She has drawn many many fanart drawings for you
