Many "gifts" from GG and DD

So much has happened over the past three or four days that I couldn’t even gather my thoughts together to make a post.

Of course, everyone already knows about the cameras Leica, about the number of GG's photos (18-33-28 and 18-25-23), about camping and the cake with sheep, and so on.

I want to write about some moments that especially impressed me, in addition to the main “candies” that fell upon us in abundance. This post will probably turn out to be chaotic, but I am now very impressed by everything, and there are a lot of emotions.

Everything is fake, fiction and my stupid fantasies, don’t pay attention.🤡🤡🤡

“Everything is cute, everything is cool.” We saw the phrase in the post by GG's studio: “Life is bright, everything is cute.” Less than a day has passed (namely 19 hours 50 minutes), and YBO replies: “Everything is cool collected”. And we're reminded of the old LRLG fake material where it was about "ok, you're cool, I'm cute." Can anyone say that this is the coincidence?! This is the real dialogue during short time!

Yesterday DD again showed us many photos with Leica. It would seem, why focus so much attention on it? It's funny that if you leave a comment or repost, the effect with flying small pink cameras appears on Weibo:

It occurred to me to count all the DD's photos from the trip to Paris on Weibo and Instagram (including duplicate of photos), where the camera Leica M11 is present. You won't believe. There are 23 of them. The word “coincidence” already gives me a callus on my tongue.

Yesterday DD stunned everyone with his 100500 photos around the small iron pole. Turtles on Weibo wondered why he paid so much attention to this inconspicuous place. And it turned out that it was not in vain! Of course, this is the street corner with special numbers - 23 rue Bachelet 75018.

And also the red-yellow-green dog, and DD standing proudly against the background of bicycles. When GG traveled abroad in February, there was the episode in his video where he was in front of motorcycles. Such a funny "exchange".

There are also some interesting things in the GG's birthday photos and video. For example, in some photos GG looks strikingly similar to DD. The turtles mostly took notice of this photo. If you close the right half of the face, you get an almost mystical resemblance.

But I also noticed another photo, the first time I saw it, I really thought it was DD. How can this be? It really looks like some kind of magic.

Of course, GG put on the little lion again. It is interesting that it was in this jacket that GG returned from Paris to Beijing in March (Paris again!). And it was in it that he was photographed for his birthday. And this is not the first time that the little lion appears in the GG's birthday photos. By the way, one more interesting detail: it seems that this particular jacket is hanging in the background in the famous GG's photo that captivated everyone:

Inscription in the sky. In GG’s video at 4:16, a certain effect appears that resembles the legendary “wangxiao” inscription; in one of the BTS of “The Untamed” GG puts his name under DD’s name and then crosses it out in embarrassment. I'm not really sure if this is intentional or just a visual effect and abstraction, but it looks very similar!

The Chinese turtles, at least, were very enthusiastic about this effect (and they are still better versed in written characters than I am). Even if it's not intentional, it looks amazing because it really does look a lot like those signatures.

At the end of GG’s vlog, the phrase appears: “So, did you come up with a name?” (所以, 想好名字了?), this seems to be a reference to the ending of The Untamed when Wei Ying said, "You need to come up with a name for this song":

Another thing that no one seems to have noticed is the DD's Douyin video. Look at the time of publication. This is the screenshot from my phone, I'm in the same time zone as Paris, in Europe. In China at this time it was 16:05. Don't you think that this is another gremlin-DD's trick - to make the post on 5.10 at 10:05, but in Paris time? In my opinion, this is quite in his style.

And a little about personal impressions.

Interesting is the photo where GG is holding the cake with sheep. This is the only photo in his first photoshoot where he is smiling. In the rest of the photos he is thoughtful, even seemingly sad, and in some places stern. Only in this photo does GG have bright and gentle expression on his face, and the special smile, the look in the other photos is completely different, tougher or directed inward of himself. Even the jeans he's wearing don't appear anywhere else except in this photo. It seems to me that this is the special photo, taken by the special person and at a different time. Can be compared with other photos supposedly taken by DD.

This is probably very subjective, but it seems to me that there is some subtle similarity in these photos. Love. Well, I think so.

I'm caught up with what's going on lol. Just been busy yesterday and barely had time to respond hours ago.

I was told that Red's video had received a report for a privacy complaint which was posted about that morning.

Following up to this is a comment made by Cagney on the video saying she made the report for Kevonica which has been posted onto the community tab of his channel.

Though this isn't the first of Cagney reaching out yesterday. Prior to this I had received messages that I didn't get to look at until making this post yesterday. Cagney made an alternative account under the same name but with an "s" included. This is the message she had left for me to read.

1. You know I would be totally fine with the fact that her socials were to be censored when criticized over minor flaws but given all things considered. She accused Red of Sexual Harassment for things that happened years ago while completely disregarding the fact she still was reaching out to him to only excuse it in her video that she forgot about his past behavior, made him and I out to be pedophiles, kept forcing her own perspective upon our own work with twisted thoughts and above all that she still proceeded to post a response video two days afterwards which totally defeats the purpose of having to remain private/unknown online especially given how she shared that video by linking it in her tweet on Twitter.

Top it off, she still has the decency to still lurk onto Red's profiles. So, she is far from moving on lol.

2. Ah yes! "I want my socials censored for privacy purposes" *proceeds to post a response video and tweets about it publicly days later*-

Yeah, how contradictory...

As for the reasons why Kev wanted her original username and current one censored. I kept it private considering how personal they were but after those two days passed and I saw how things unfolded, you can totally look past that and see it could've been done to take advantage of the situation to her convenience. Like she still made a video response and tweeted about it, it doesn't matter how she edits the video to prevent her old username being shown. She's still making herself have public attention over it for just about anyone to find her no matter the following being big or small.

Honestly, the funny thing about this is when someone in particular asked for their socials to be censored they were rejected of it. Doesn't feel nice when the shoe is on the other foot because now it’s a whole ass problem.

3. Bringing up when I showed Blurry and Zombify screenshots of what went down in the community because of how much y'all talk shit behind people's backs is wild especially given how Zombify did take offense to Victor's own remarks about them when Zombify didn't agree with Kev's attempts to give Blurry negative attention on biased opinions of his own different takes for characters he drew in his own depiction along with other things. Besides that I can see that leaking screenshots of what went on during discussion did fuck up on someone's day over a group practically doxxing Victor and attempting to harass them. Yet you guys attempted to stalk Zombify's account daily when they sided with Blurry and over speculated on their Twitter activities to harass them which you are doing the same with Red and I activities online.

Now of course, Cageny made a post on her blog to follow up with everything.

Most of the things that are said go over the mention of stuff that I just went over.

Kevonica's desire to have her name censored when Cageny reached out to me for a request on Red's video to have changes for Kev's online safety concerns from what's shown in our conversation. As previously mentioned, there are numerous contradictions regarding this issue. For instance, she uploaded a video two days after our last discussion, which, despite any editing she may have done to mitigate risks, remains a public response accessible to anyone, including Red's video. Furthermore, her Twitter post promoting her video prior to making her account private effectively draws attention to herself and her art that is publicly available for viewing which looks no different to her old work from 2017. Having a game on steam that she promotes publicly with the same art style presented in her sprites which features the same art style in her sprites, linking back to both her current and past accounts. Like if you search up the name "TheNutcrackerus" on Google, her old Instagram pops up and all her work that she's made is relevantly still on there that can link back to her current account.

Search up "TheNutcrackerus" on Twitter, her "Kevonica" account can instantly be found from people responding to her account. It's not like Kevonica wants to hide from the public when there is more than a clear indication that she wants her brand name known even if she abandons the previous one. Her making the claims of wanting her social media accounts private on a video presenting criticism against her is quite contradictory.

Following up with this post is that Cagney says Red is milking the situation when it's advertisement that is no different to Kev doing the same on Twitter and Cagney admittedly says that she made the Privacy report complaints for Kevonica in her comment that I have previously shown. Red and I both looked at the timestamps and literally nothing on those time-stamps breaks YouTube guidelines for a privacy complaint.

3:00-3:50 - Literally just Kev's old profile picture from the Thenutcrackerus account transitioning to her current one.

7:07-7:14 - Kev's conversation with Mobox87 on Discord.

24:48-24:53 - A beginning of Kev and Red's conversation reuniting communication.

33:30-36:05 - The same issue as 3:00-3:50 but in reverse. Kev's current profile picture is shown and transitions to her old one from TheNutcrackerus account.

This is honestly just shutting us up at this point. No matter what context you put in. This is shutting people up from their own criticism against Kev by abusing the YouTube report system to your own convenience.

Now of course, above all that she decides to add in an unrelated topic to make a similarity out of it. That being my gaming channel being terminated and showing off tweets from Red and I made to get an appeal.

Okay first off, this should be irrelevant to the argument given how this is just you over speculating on the smallest thing to complain about and to justify an argument in your response. Two, Red made a minor error when posting that tweet without realizing to edit the screenshot of a complaint in support of trying to bring back an old gaming channel so that YouTube's automated system doesn't address that email is being shown. Three, Why the FUCK would I be worried over my email being censored or not when it's the same email anyone can see publicly from the document I've posted about Kevonica? You can literally press the three dots on my document and see my email including Red's along with the activity log of when it was opened and edited. The same shit can apply to Kev's document including the Mobox87's archive evidence folder which shows her old email that is clearly still being used to this day!

Then of course, they mentioned my NSFW being censored. Uh duh, it breaks YouTube guidelines to show NSFW plus in my document I linked Kev's document and in our folders about Kev we have her documents from when she first uploaded it and when she updated it.

Plus, the only person in "history" who reports Red for Privacy Violation is Arion (Blue's Journey) which has been stated on my pinned thread on my Twitter account, My document and both videos that Red and I made about Arion, Cagney. FUCKEN Dumbass.

Anyways, I find this situation quite amusing due to the extent to which this new argument contradicts all previous assertions presented to us. The hypocrisy is particularly evident when compared to the topics they have addressed in the past.

Lazytown Shenanigans Pt. 7

I was too lazy and tired to make a post yesterday, so this time I have to talk about three episodes in a row: "Time to Learn," "Let's Go to the Moon," and "Robbie's Dream Team." And, therefore, this rambling is going to be the longest one in this series so far. I mean, THE LO-O-ONGEST one (you have been warned guys) 💀

Also I didn't take any screenshots from the "Time to Learn" episode and there are very few of the other two, so please accept my apologies in advance!!

It's very doubtful that someone will read it till the very end, but let's begin, I guess 😭

"Time to Learn."

I can't say that this episode was very interesting, at least compared to other ones that will be mentioned in this post very soon, but there were some amusing and cute moments. Maybe that's because I was tired once again while I was watching it, but whatever

The episode started with Robbie rambling about Sportacus, as usual 🤭. But anyway, this is not the most important part of that scene; I have some other things to say about it

First of all. In some previous posts I declared that Robbie is a fucking genius, which is true in my opinion, but omg. Bro is kinda stupid in terms of school subjects, such as math, for example. Not blaming him in any way, I sucked at math as well when I studied in school, but this somehow doesn't fit in with the fact that he can build such complex and knowledge-intensive mechanisms... Bro is stupid, but not completely I guess 😭

Second of all, it was kinda amusing to me that Stephanie didn't notice all those silly scribbles of Sportacus at all. She just looked at the blackboard and was like, "OMG ROBBIE YOU'RE DOIN' MATH THAT'S SO COOL." Girl look at those drawings, why don't you pay any attention to it 🙄

And third of all, I can't help but say that it was so freaking adorable that Stephanie took her time to help Robbie with math, and he was actually listening to her. Family bonding 🥹

But enough of that silly scene. I was somewhat surprised that Robbie didn't end up at least in the top five of the best antagonists; I mean, have you even seen what he's able to create using only improvised materials? Have you even known that he makes all that shit on his own and has no assistants at all? Even though his plans don't work out all the time, he's definitely not the worst, but not the best antagonist either. And I don't even want to hear anything about graduation from school (because of the lack of that, he was identified as the worst antagonist). He's pretty good at his occupation even without it

I've gotten too defensive, so let us continue. Being a pretty big fan of the NatM movie franchise as well, I was SO HAPPY to hear Amelia Earhart's name in this episode (she was in the second NatM movie). When Bessie asked kids about the first woman who flew across the Atlantic Ocean, I was like "OH SHIT I KNOW I KNOW WHO THAT WAS-"

Also I think that I remember the song from that episode. I have a vague memory of hearing that song in Russian dubbing when I was a kid, so that was a very nice experience 🥺

Some words about the funny thing. It cracked me up when Robbie loosened the fastenings at the door and MEANSWELL ACCIDENTALLY BLEW THE FUCK OFF THAT MISERABLE DOOR AND LANDED HIS HEAD IN AN IRON BUCKET. I LITERALLY CHOKED ON THE AIR WHEN I SAW IT 😭😭

Since I mentioned Robbie, let's talk about him once again (I'll never get tired of talking about my favorite dorks)

I will not leave unvoiced the fact that Robbie ALMOST ate at least one Sportscandy — a banana, in this case. HE ALMOST DID IT. GOOD FOR HIM!! And one little detail from that scene: it was Ziggy who shared that banana with him. This once again confirms that Ziggy is the best kid ever; he's not sorry to share something with other people at all, whether it's his favorite sweets or Sportscandy 🥺

And now for my favorite part... ;]

This was kind of one of those episodes in which Robbie didn't act that mean towards Sportacus (let's forget about the very beginning of the episode because it's not that significant). He was even too excited to ask him some questions when Sportacus visited them to save Meanswell, and as far as I understood he had quite a lot of questions (and who's the main Sport's fan here now? /j), but the opportunity to ask him anything was given to Ziggy. Robbie was somewhat frustrated :(

Plus Robbie genuinely thanked him when he was saved, and it seemed to me that there was no falsehood at all; he wasn't annoyed or anything like that, at least, and for once he was pretty happy to be saved 🥺

The last thing that I'll mention about this episode is that I felt pretty bad for Stephanie when she didn't pass the final exam because of Robbie, while all of her friends succeeded in that. That was quite cruel on his part, stealing her answers from her and changing them to his own; like dude, she literally helped you that morning.. I hate to see when nice characters are crying, poor girl :(

Ok, now let's move on to the next episode,

"Let's Go to the Moon."

That episode was something. I mean it in the sense that this episode probably has one of the most beautiful views and landscapes; I should also point out that I'm a complete sucker for all those space-related things (my love for "Guardians of the Galaxy" can prove it very well), so that episode was a real eye-candy for me

I mean, just look at this:

This episode is very well done, and when I say "very well done" I really mean it

But enough of my drooling over the episodes' appearance, let's touch on the topics of the plot and some moments from there!!

I was fucking shocked when I saw that there was a WHOLE UNDERGROUND GARAGE WITH A ROCKET in the yard of Pixel's house. How... How is this kid still not part of some super-fancy university for prodigies? I doubt that someone helped him build all that shit, so apparently he did it all by himself. Wow 💀

And the scene in which Bessie and Milford thought that kids are just playing and it's not real killed me fr; like, no, my darlings, they are actually going to the fucking moon 😭

I was somewhat amused by the fact that Robbie was so fed up with the kids' games and fuss that he literally decided to leave the earth and rest on the moon. Gosh, just let the dude rest properly for once; he's an old man, after all, and he really needs some quiet at times... /hj

And even then the kids didn't let him rest. They literally went to the moon right after him (just for funsies), started to dance and play, and then met Robbie and thought that he was an alien. Ziggy was the very first one to stumble upon him:

And Ziggy was pretty startled to see a supposed alien, which quite confused me. Wasn't he the one who wanted to make friends with an alien in the "Ziggy's Alien" episode and wasn't scared of Robbie disguised as an alien at all?.. The boy changed his mind apparently 🙄

And since we're talking about fears and all this shit, it was a somewhat sad sight to see a scared Robbie. The man was afraid that he would be left completely alone on the moon without any chance to come back home because his spaceship was somehow broken. I understand his fear, but I think there was no great reason to be that afraid; Sportacus' gadgets would've sooner or later given a signal that someone was in trouble, and therefore he could've counted on salvation :]

Also. A small detail that made me smile like a dork. Robbie laid down to sleep in the crater with Sportacus' apple laying in it (in the very beginning of the episode he threw an apple there with a baseball bat). My brain goes fuzzy and my chest goes warm 🥹💜

In the final part of the rambling about this episode, I would like to point out that I didn't quite understand the behavior of the kids at the end of the episode; they were indignant because of Robbie's appearance, but WHY?? He literally didn't do anything wrong in this episode, he just wanted to rest and, a little later, wanted to go home. Why are they so mean to him without any significant reason; don't judge him for nothing, or just leave him be, at least 😭

In general, this episode looked very beautiful, and I can say that this is probably one of my favorite episodes so far. Not because of the characters' interactions, not because of my beloved dorks, but just because this episode looks absolutely amazing :]

Now for the most delicious part of this post,

"Robbie's Dream Team."

OH MY GOD YES. THIS ONE. ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC EPISODES IN THIS SHOW. I FUCKING LOVED IT BECAUSE OF A LOT OF THINGS 👊👊

But let's calm down for a minute and talk about everything in order...

I won't keep quiet about that scene in which Sportacus balanced on two basketballs while standing on one hand... How. How does he even do that. I was literally sitting there with my mouth wide open; I don't know, maybe there was some trick with those basketballs, and they were kinda attached to the floor, because I don't quite believe that he was able to do it without those basketballs rolling away. That man literally consists of a bunch of talents; seriously, he's amazing 😭

Not far from the topic of my favorite dorks: this was another episode in which Robbie once again spends all his time and efforts on catching Sportacus. This one was almost entirely dedicated to his futile attempts to catch him, but the funny part is that bro didn't even know why exactly he needed to catch Sportacus in the first place; initially his main goal was just catching and kidnapping him. For no reason. Robbie came up with the plan of getting rid of him only when he finally caught him 🤭

And his frustrated "How does he always do that??! :(" when Sportacus didn't end up in his trap once again was so fucking amusing; I dunno buddy, maybe that's because that trap was too small? 😭

By the way, in this episode he attempted to catch Sportacus three times (at least I was able to count this number of attempts): the first one in the beginning with a trap in the ground, the second one with a cage that was attached to the tree, and the third, successful one. He was really dedicated in that episode, as I see 😏

Maybe that's a little off topic, but it was also the fourth episode in the whole season (I've watched five episodes from this season so far, just for reference) in which he tries, or at least intends, to feed Sportacus a sugar apple. Apparently bro realized that this was the most effective and fail-safe remedy against him

Also, just take a look at this pathetic creature. And this is your so-called "master of disguise" 😭 /j

Ok but whatever. Let's move on and talk about the second attempt at catching Sportacus; there were some amusing moments as well 😈

This time the kids, Stephanie and Stingy, were spying on him, and they saw the final stage of setting up the trap. You know guys, in some of my previous posts I joked that Robbie's behavior towards Sportacus is kinda suspicious, AND, WELL, I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT STINGY WILL LITERALLY VOICE MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THAT BECAUSE HE LITERALLY SAID, "Hmm there's suspicious behavior" 😭😭

(I know I misinterpreted that phrase but let me be. I just thought that was too funny and I actually laughed like crazy when i heard that 💀)

And I should admit that it was kinda nice to see that kids wanted to help him, because, well, they didn't know Robbie's true intentions since he lied to them. They know that he's a villain, and they probably shouldn't take part in catching someone for him, but they still suggested some help 🥺

Speaking of the kids, it was one of the few episodes in which Stingy was pretty tolerable in my opinion. He didn't do anything selfish or bad, which quite surprised me, and I didn't feel any annoyance because of him. Enemies to lovers trop? /jj

Finally. Now we're going to talk about the most important part of this episode — something that made this episode iconic throughout the show and in meme culture: THE ROBBIE'S GANG. 

OH MY FUCKING GOD, HOW MUCH I LIKED THOSE DORKS. Unfortunately I didn't remember each of them by name (I have a very bad memory), but I remember that in general their names were Bobby, Tobby, and Flobby. I really liked them and the way they look, and I mean it genuinely. And now I really want to read some fics that include them because they are so precious 🥺

One of them kinda reminded me of an Oompa-Loompa from Tim Burton's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," but we won't talk about it 😭

AND THE SONG. THE SONG. "WE ARE NUMBER ONE" WAS A BIG PART OF MY CHILDHOOD BECAUSE IT WAS A VERY POPULAR MEME BACK THEN. THE FEELING OF NOSTALGIA THAT SONG GAVE ME WAS INDESCRIBABLE AND I FUCKING LIVE FOR IT. But seriously, the melody and the instrumental accompaniment were very catchy; it's a top-tier song in the whole show imo and I won't shut up about how much I love it

Speaking of nostalgia, this episode in general was pretty nostalgic to me, because I have a weird vague feeling that I've seen this episode on some sunny spring morning when I was like, nine or ten years old?? What I'm trying to say is that while I was watching this episode, I had a small feeling like I watched it once before going to school, but I don't remember it; I just feel it. If it makes any sense 😭

But fine, let's move on. It seemed pretty cute to me that after Stephanie and Stingy helped Sportacus get over his sugar meltdown, he BECAME FRIENDS WITH ROBBIE'S GANG. They were all so happy to play together in the lair and on the sports field, since, well, they literally said that they didn't want to become villains. I'm literally smiling right now while writing it because IT'S SO CUTE OMG 🥺

The last thing that I'll mention, or, to be more precise, show, is this scene

Yeah like. I get you dude; it's always nice to watch pretty men sleeping 🤭 (i mean Sportacus wasn't sleeping but was feeling pretty shitty because of his sugar meltdown but let's put all the details aside 💀)

In conclusion, this episode is definitely and undoubtedly one of my favorites. Some of the reasons for that are the nostalgia factor and the presence of some new characters. Oh and the badass song, of course

Last Movie I Watched

Rewatched this for family movie night yesterday. First time I've seen it again since I was a kid. I liked it a normal amount back then, and I like it the same amount now even if some of my thoughts about it have changed as a result of being slightly more analytical about the movies I watch. I think my only gripe with it is how the romance between Kim & Edward is a little bit too easy. It's not rushed, it just seems to fall in place just because rather than any actual connection between the two. Maybe there's some commentary about how Edward represents a world unlike either of the ones Kim currently inhabits (the 90s rebellion of her generation against the 50s sensibilities of her neighborhood) and that's tempting to her, but idk. I usually write up these letterboxd reviews for the stuff I watch (no, I won't share my account on here) but since I got up for a few minutes to cook my dinner, I didn't wanna write up my thoughts based on a partial rewatch. I'll probably refer back to this post later, though.

This shitty little squirreljak, because the topic of that republican who adopted a wild squirrel came up in the politics channel of this server I'm in, and there's this other guy in the server who posts this pic so often that it's become an inside joke. My opinion on "Peanut"? I think this is a stupid thing for people to rally around, but that's the point. The right is always playing these dudebro games about not taking anything seriously so when anyone calls them out on it the Leftists trying to treat it that way end up looking even sillier. That said, I saw that tweet from some pundit about Trump "winning 48 states if he [puts on a squirrel suit]" and thought it was some gaga about securing the furry vote because I hadn't heard about the Peanut debacle prior to seeing it, and since I doubt that's what the guy intended when he made the post it makes it so I'm laughing at him instead of him laughing at me. All-in-all, I really hope the next time I hear about Trump after he loses in 2 days is about him dying, and then I'll never hear about him again.

I don't have a Spotify because I can listen to music on youtube for free with Ublock (or on SiriusXM through my parents' account), but I do keep a playlist on youtube so I pulled the song for this prompt from on there. It took some searching, because i've got over 800 songs spread out over 3 separate playlists that while others may find me to be embarrassing to have in there, I feel no shame over because that's simply the person I was at the time and most of it is still objectively enjoyable (things like a PSG AMV set to the song Danger Days or a Mother Mother song I liked long before they became hip to dunk on). But, I eventually found a song that I thought was funny at the time, but now I think if people knew I ever liked it they'd think I was an actual fan of his.

Most Problematic Movie You Still Watch for Nostalgia

Originally I was gonna edit this to be the most problematic film I feel nostalgic for, because I don't actually rewatch movies that often when there's so many that I haven't seen yet and time is a precious commodity, BUT there actually is a somewhat problematic feature that I do rewatch at least once a year.

Well, "problematic" in the sense that soooo many fans of the original absolutely despise this remake and Matthew Broderick for "butchering" the role of Harold Hill. I still haven't seen the original to compare it against yet, but I have a feeling I'm still gonna prefer this one simply because I love the hokey mid-2000s acting in it as much as I do the musical performances. If you think this is a copout, just ask any theater major you still have contact with their opinions.

More super interesting things I discovered while playing Dutch on RDO:

-The guy is the equivalent of the Scrawny Nag. His initial health/stamina is shite (seen in the screenshots; that's what they're when I get him into the game). He is FRAGILE and needs to be fed a healthy breakfast of tonics and seasoned meat throughout the day (I accidentally got up him up to Overweight and he's still lean smh, not fair to the rest of us). It's a bit funny considering what he looks like in the Union suit but I'll put it down to a realistic bit of detail considering his age.

-He gets twitchy over hearing gunfire, gets into this defensive pose and sometimes unholsters his handgun if the gunfire is close enough (particularly doing the bounty/trader/moonshine role). Yesterday he brought a bounty into San Denis and there were some players scrapping a block away; he braced himself, and didn't unholster his semi-autos (which if he did I'd quickly unholster) but he still thought it was an activity of GREAT CONCERN. The first time I saw this (I think it was a bounty) I audibly spoke "woah!" Another time I had him sitting at the fire at the camp, there was gunfire going off from those random defend-a-camp events that pop up, and he got up, ready for action and he whooped some ass. That awareness he has of stuff going on an an area is amazing and again forces me to focus on detail.

-Dutch's need to look at EVERYTHING (yes Dutch that's a horse, yes Dutch that's a raspberry bush, yes that's a wagon, yes that's your husband, yes that's a 1 star rabbit, don't make me put some blinkers on) drives me batty at times (for as endearing as it actually really is) when I want to get screenshots of him but it's also really immersive and made me focus on all the details instead of rushing through as I've done with my OC character. He also completely zeroes his eyes in on his bounty target which I thought is super cool. Who needs Dead Eye?

-He SULKS in the rain.

-His gait changes by whatever shoes he's wearing; when he's in his top hat ensemble he GLIDES. When he's wearing that red/black top ensemble he SWAGGERS. Again a very cool detail.

-Dutch can be THROWN. He was minding his own business, having a drink in Valentine when this player came in, gave him a look, seemed to have just grabbed him back of his pants and tossed him halfway across the room. He just kinda did this floppy Kermit flail. SO dramatic.

-His NOT AGAIN protests can be so funny. Like once he was attacked by a lion (that Hosea KICKED TO DEATH) that someone spawned into camp as if it happened before.

-He's sullen in bigger towns (Blackwater, Saint Denis), but gets a soft eye back at camp (as seen in the last two screenshots above (he' in the camp tent), trail rides, and anywhere not in those towns. He often looks very reflective as he rides around, just taking in the scenery.

The details like this that I've picked up on playing him are INCREDIBLE. With how smooth he is to play, It's almost as if it was intended that we'd play him but it was never made official or such.

Is her new movie Hallmark or Lifetime? I ask because her Christmas one was Lifetime. Her first TV movie after leaving TWD was with Hallmark I got Hallmark with our cable service but not Lifetime so I didn't see the Christmas movie. I really wasn't thinking about it in terms of symbolism or luck or bad luck although a black cat crossing your path is supposed to be bad luck. Obviously I don't believe that since my cats are so sweet but I just thought it was funny that she chose a black cat because Norman was so well known for his black cat. If one black cat = a negative bad luck then two black cats in math would = a positive which would be good luck.

As far as symbolism in TWD cat= Daryl and dog= Beth.

So, this is an interesting one that Emily posted. The more I look at it, the more interesting things I find.

Aside from the vibrantly colored costume, the woman actually looks a lot like Beth. There's the bird, of course. Bird symbolism.

You could even argue that only one eye is showing. Well, "Showing" because of the blue glasses. But the bird is covering one eye, which gives it a Sirius look.

The flaming heart at the throat reminded me of Norman saying Beth was Daryl's little light in the dark, and it was super sad to see that light go out.

The blue and green on her neck look exactly like the plate glass windows in the Alexandria church, which we always liked to call Beth's church.

And the pearls are reminiscent of the Rich Bitch walker. The bird is also black and white. AND, the woman is wearing a yellow shirt or dress. Yeah, I can see why this one would have captured Emily's attention.

Today was great. I really am having such a fun time. Today was only a little hard because it was so unstructured. Which only is hard because I worry about it James is having fun. But they keep telling me they are and I am having a great time. So I have to believe them.

And it has been such a restful day. I slept well, I love the rocking of the boat. I got a little dizzy last night but in general I love it.

When I woke up I was alone and confused about what time it was. My tablet said 11, which I knew was wrong. But I wasn't sure when it was. I eventually figured out it was 8. So I got up and got dressed and decided I would go find James. I left a note in case James came back. And then I was off.

I got a little turned around at first. But I saw another couple ladies looking for the observation deck to and I remembered about the fish on the carpet. And how they point to the front. And they thought that was very funny and we all walked together.

And we ran right into James! I was so happy to see them. They had gone for a ride (which is funny to say when it's just a stationary bike) and had gone for coffee. But they waited for me for breakfast. I was looking forward to breakfast. I love sitting and watching the water. And that's exactly what we did.

I got scrambled eggs and watermelon and hash browns that were shaped like pucks. The watermelon was not as good as yesterday, but that's alright. I would have better watermelon at lunch.

James got me a water, I'm trying to stay hydrated. And we talked about what we wanted to do today. It's a day at sea so it was mostly just us deciding. I looked at the app and we saw they were teaching how to make origami whales in a few minutes and then there was trivia. So that's what we did. We went all the way down the ten floors to the atrium.

And it was fun! I'm terrible at origami. I always have been. People always think I'm going to be good at it because I do art and sculpture but I just really struggle with the picture instructions and my brain cant design my own. Like it's such a small thing but I'm bad at it. But it was fun because everyone else was bad at it too. And I just felt joyful. I have been feeling joyful a lot this trip.

After origami we stayed for trivia. Which was fun and James got us 14 points out of a possible 20. I got one of those answers so I was very proud of myself. It was that babies don't have knee caps. I learned that here on Tumblr.

After trivia we went for a walk. It was beautiful outside. Cold but beautiful. We can just see the mountains in the distance.

As we were walking I found another duck. And I was just so stupid excited. So we decided that the walk would be a duck hunt. We went all over and found two more ducks! I love this game.

We would get a piece of pizza for walking, and sat outside on the deck chairs in the wind. We actually remembered our sunglasses. And soon we went for lunch for real.

This is where we discovered that while we can't send texts we can send pictures for some reason. So we gamed the system and typed up notes and took screenshots to send to Jess and our parents and made sure they knew we were good and having fun. I thought that this was hilarious though, it's like sending telegrams.

We went back to the room to drop things off. We ran into our nice house keeper, who's name I didn't catch but was very kind. I asked about the towel monkey but he seemed a little confused about what I was talking about. But he said if we needed anything to let him know and he congratulated us. My door sign worked.

And it worked better then I expected because they decorated our room!! They put up a sign and made us swans! I was so thrilled.

After we took pictures I made a sign for our swans to "no disturb the wildlife" because I don't want them to take them away but also we don't have anywhere to put them. Hopefully the signed works.

Wait James just moved them on top of the TV. Including the sign. This is great I can see them better now.

We would spend some time after that in the observation lounge. We got a couch and cuddled and listened to music. Eventually James got a book and I got my tablet. And it was just chill. We were both almost falling asleep though. So we leaned into that and mid-afternoon we went back to the room for a nap.

And it was a good nap. We have the bridge cam going on the TV. Which is fun to watch. And I slept.

James woke me up around 430. And we got cleaned up. My hair was absolutely driving me crazy. My head was itchy. But we were dressing up for dinner so I just put it up and promised myself to wash it later.

We went to the cardroom/library to play a game. We tried to play backgammon but I didn't understand it so we switched to checkers. James beat me badly, I am much better at chess.

Right before we finished that game another 30something year old couple invited us to play a game they had brought with them. And they were awesome.

The game was fun, I won 3 rounds. Their names were Ester and Tom and they are engineers and teachers. I loved talking to them. And we ended up hanging out for them for almost 2 hours? It was a blast. And they told us about their other trips and how their world works, engineering is such a foreign concept to me. But it was fun! And they listened to me talk about art and museums and we talked about third spaces and life. It was great. I love making friends.

We had to say goodbye though because we had our dinner reservations. And so we said goodbye, and until next time, and then we were off.

And dinner was fun. I honestly prefer the buffet but it was fun still. I got ziti and a salad, James got spring rolls and pork. We didn't get desert because I was feeling a little anxious because there was an unknown $80 charged to my room card. Thankfully after dinner we went to guest services and it was just the tips. I thought that was going to be one charge at the end but doing it daily is fine. I was just very concerned I messed something up. And you know how I get if that happens.

I did love dinner with James though. I love watching the water. I love people watching. I was really happy.

We went to the newlywed game next. We did not get chosen because a couple who got married last week had been married a shorter time, but we played from the audience and the couples who did get chosen were hilarious. I was having big big laughs. One couple are both pastors and another are farmers, one couple had been married for 62 years and the husband could barely hear but didn't look a day over 60 so it was super impressive how spry he was regardless. Very handsome. It was a blast though but I was getting tired. So I let James know. And we went upstairs to see if dessert was still available but no luck. We just got the cones from ice cream to munch and went back to our rooms.

I washed my hair. And James stretched. And now we are just resting and winding down for sleep.

Tomorrow we will arrive in Jeuno in the afternoon. I'm not sure what we are planning, but I think we are going to a musuem. I'm looking forward to a good day and a new place and more pictures and memories.

finding it funny and ironic that you said you block people for any reason of any kind in your info page but when you get blocked for something an user doesn’t like to interact w/ / feels uncomfortable w/, you get annoyed and mad at it

ok so as I said earlier and as anyone who saw the ask i sent should know, I didn't get annoyed and mad them for blocking me. I wanted to know if I was blocked because 1) could have been a bug on my part 2) since I block people for no reason it might have been the same here, I myself unblocked someone yesterday because they appeared as "based on your likes" repeatedly and didn't want to see them (blocked) but also didn't have anything against them (unblocked, but i generally forget).

I didn't ask them to unblock me or anything, just wanted to be sure it was on purpose.

I made them uncomfortable? Well I'm sorry about that. It's totally fair that they would block me. What I'm annoyed at or "mad" about as you say, is going to great length (investigating a side blog of mine looking for screenshots) to prove i'm an awful person or whatever, calling me names and telling me to go fuck myself completely unprovoked. Lemme remind you that I was polite in my ask and didn't strike back (not only because I was blocked, I truly don't believe in being aggressive on the internet).

Now what makes me uncomfortable is the number of people I don't know and who don't know me who've been sending me anon messages to either blame me or call me names ever since it happened. I laughed at my sister’s Tragedeigh and now I’m uninvited to the baby shower I’m planning.

My sister is due in early January and we’re planning her baby shower for early December. She decided she wanted to use my mother’s maiden name (Rafferty) as her daughter’s name. Not a Tragedeigh in itself and I guess it works as a unique name.

But yesterday I texted my sister that I needed to get the custom items with my niece’s name ordered ASAP so they arrive in time for the shower. My sister then let me know they’re going with an alternative spelling of Rafferty.

I texted back, “An alternative spelling… of our mother’s maiden name?”

My sister wants to spell it Raefarty.

So I send back a bunch of laughing emojis and she asked “What’s so funny?”

I tried to explain that no one will pronounce that as Rafferty and she’ll probably get plenty of the same mispronunciations. She told me I was being ridiculous.

I texted back, “My poor niece. Little Miss Farty Rae.”

I was uninvited to the shower and my mom told me today my sister doesn’t want me as the Godmother anymore.

But, like, Raefarty is really bad, isn’t it? Someone needs to tell her, right?

Update on Raefarty

I don’t know if updates are allowed here, but here it is and sorry it’s long and I’ve been having a hard time submitting it (is there a character limit?). I’ll try posting some and put the rest in the comments.

So we had an intervention on Raefarty.

I know everyone said to send a link to the original post to my sister to show her that 103% of the global population would call her daughter Ray Farty and that would be the easiest thing to do, but some commenters said some pretty gnarly things about my sister that she doesn’t need to read and feel worse about herself. But I wanted to address a few things that came up.

First, for those saying I shouldn’t bother paying for the baby shower anymore, I had no plans to not continue to pay and help out. Disagreements and fighting aside, I love my sister and want her to go into motherhood filled with love and support, regardless of whether she wants my support or attendance at the event.

Second, my sister’s husband was made aware of the spelling change of Rafferty to Raefarty about a month before my original post. He said he didn’t think much of it until he saw it written down and immediately saw it as Ray Farty, too. He said her emotions had been getting worse throughout the pregnancy and he didn’t know how to approach her about going back to the original spelling. He had hoped that once she gave birth, all the hormones would somehow leave her body, she’d come to her senses, and it would be a non-issue.

Third, a lot of you were lumping my mom in with my sister and said some pretty horrible things about her, too. All my mom knew was from my sister calling her to complain that I laughed at her for “slightly” changing the spelling. My mom just assumed it was a minor change like Raffertie until I told her to grab a pen and paper and I’d spell it out for her. Once she saw it was Raefarty, she was Team Save This Child.

Now for those of you who told me I didn’t have any tact and my reaction was mean, my reaction was because 1) people would call the poor girl Ray Farty her entire life for the sake of my sister being quirky. 2) pregnancy brain aside, surely my sister would realise her child will be called Ray Farty once it’s pointed out, have a laugh, change her mind, and this will end up being a funny story to tell at her daughter’s future wedding or something, and 3) my sister is a bit of a joker so I also initially thought she was just pulling a prank or joking.

But if she was joking, she took the joke really, really far. She spent $400 on a mural painted on one wall in the nursery (she wanted to “debut” the finished nursery to everyone at the baby shower. Including her husband, who was forbidden to see it beforehand) that had RAEFARTY incorporated into it that now needs to be repainted. She also bought herself a “birthing gift” (is this even a thing??) She’d have my brother-in-law present to her in front of everyone at the hospital: a $900+ gold bracelet with R, A, E, F, A, R, T, and Y charms. The baby book also has Raefarty embroidered on the cover.

I contacted my sister’s best friend Katie (not her real name) if my sister has told her anything about the spelling change. She found out about Raefarty after the blow up with my sister, as my sister wanted to get Katie on her side. Katie, who’s a teacher, was equally horrified about the spelling and told me this is the worst attempt at a creative name she’s ever seen.

The intervention of sorts (the Farty Party, if you will) included me, my sister, her husband, his mother and father, my mother, and Katie. My sister refused to believe anyone could possibly see Raefarty as Ray Farty and that we were just mad that she was taking creative license and that “everyone does that nowadays.”

My sister said children are not that cruel to bully her daughter for her name and Kate said plenty of kids are cruel enough and others would join in so they’re not singled out themselves. My sister countered that as long as all the adults are pronouncing it correctly that it’ll be no problem and Katie told her that not only would the adults not know how to pronounce it to begin with, but that as long as ‘fart’ is in the name, kids will latch right onto that.

I was happy Katie was there because she’s shared some “interesting” names her students have had over the past few years, so I knew her opinion on this would probably be the only one to sway her.

My sister cried for about 10 minutes and finally agreed to entirely change the name because even Rafferty was tainted because we had all ruined it for her. We told her to take her time to consider a new name. She told us she still wanted to honor my mother and she suggested she’d combine my mother’s first name with her mother-in-law’s name and created a name on the spot that included a crass term for a lesbian. When my mother pointed that out, she started crying again and accused us of not letting her be a mom and her husband suggested we leave it for now and we should all go and give her space.

It’s been radio silence until my sister texted me a couple of hours ago that she and her husband landed on Theodora and she is absolutely in love with it. She even decided my unborn niece looks like a Theodora in the ultrasounds (she got those creepy 3D ones done where every baby looks like the same copper potato). I replied that that was lovely and that I’m so happy she’s happy. It’s not my taste, but at least it’s not Thee O’Doorrugh or some crap like that.

So there you go, my niece has been saved from being called Ray Farty. I’m invited to the baby shower again and I know this is just a little blip with my relationship with my sister and we’ll be fine, but Katie will be taking over as Godmother, which is fine by me. I can always be Godmother to their next child, who will probably be named something like Tara m’Sue.

Thank you all for seeing the same thing I did and letting me know stopping Raefarty from coming into existence was the right thing to do.

This is kind of funny because it's kind of weirdly political but this is just something I was thinking about lately and I wanted to put my thoughts down somewhere but I'm too lazy to write it all out in my journal (sorry, running on no sleep always) but I guess that's what this blog is for, anyway, so it works out. I feel like the internet allows people to have shitty priorities. I'm trying not to use any language that's like "people nowadays" or shit that would make me sounds a hundred years old because 1. its not just young people perpetrating this kind of thing, and 2. I'm literally 18. I just feel like people on the internet get angry a lot, myself included, over things that in the grand scheme of things don't really matter at all. The accessibility of other people who will share your outrage and the ability to create an echo chamber is a tool that I don't think anyone should have. I feel like it must come from a place of boredom.

This is all coming from some tweets I saw yesterday. Well, more than just some. My whole explore page was full of this picture of this random alternative looking girl and people meming on her. I was confused on what was going on so I found a thread explaining and it turned out that this was an (allegedly) 17-year-old girl, (she looked younger to me, but even if she was 17, still very much a child.) and it seemed like all corners of twitter were coming together to hate on her because she was a racist and supported pedophilia. I looked through this whole thread, saw the screenshots, and immediately felt like it was a troll. obviously the use of racial slurs is wrong always, but as I learned more about it, especially the fact that this was a child, it seemed like maybe she didn't deserve the hate she was receiving, mainly from adults on the platform and greatly just commenting on this young girl's appearance. Her account was terminated, as it should be based on twitter's rules, but I think that should have been the extent of it. Not saying that it's right, but there are a LOT of people that age who say things akin to the things that she was saying to be "edgy" because they are children and haven't learned the actual weight of it. while I do think that her behavior should change, I don't think that widespread bullying from random people on the internet is necessarily going to help her in any way.

The pedophilia thing is where I started to get upset. The screenshots included to support the claim that she "supports pedophilia" were her saying things about wanting to be groomed and similar statements maintaining the theme of her wanting to be a victim of pedophilia. This is not a valid criticism whatsoever, especially considering the age of this girl. If anything, these statements by her should be met with concern and not backlash. At best, she's just making jokes without understanding the weight of the situation, but at worse, she could be a victim herself projecting these desires from a place of trauma, as many trauma victims turn to romanticism to cope. No matter what the reason she had for saying those things, I don't think strangers should be commenting on it publicly at all. I also found it striking that so many people found her comments so disgusting as, having been on the internet for any amount of time, especially twitter, I would assume that it was well known that (for adults, children still shouldn't be talking like this just for their own safety,) things like this are a fairly common fetish and far more egregious statements are made on the platform.

I think that this girl must have some form of mental illness, at least a need for attention, and I think that she should be met with support from people close to her and expressions of concern from people on the internet (since people on the internet can't stand to just leave people alone and for some reason feel the need to get involved. I think that the termination of her account is a good thing, but that insulting her appearance is actually fucking insane as this is a troubled child and not someone who is actually causing any harm. I thought about why this mattered so much to people and I realized that I could easily get sucked into such sensationalism, as it's really easy to, out of sheer boredom. When you spend a lot of time on the internet (like me, hello), it can be easy to latch onto something and see others sharing your opinion and perpetuate an echo chamber where a small situation can spiral into seeming like the biggest most pressing issue in the world. In reality, I wish that there was more reflection going on, which is difficult because it's so easy to see a post, form an opinion, and comment on it within a minute. twitter especially is made in a way that perfectly allows it to create a constant feedback loop, to receive instant validation, and to permeate outrage. In the end, I just hope that girl is okay, I hope she's able to learn despite the horrible things people are saying about her (which, if anything, would encourage her to continue her bad behavior, especially if she was seeking attention), and I hope that people forget about the whole situation in a few days.

I try to separate myself from this sort of thing because I start to get a savior complex, like I need to somehow change the entire nature of the internet. But even me commenting on this now is an example of someone seeing a small portion of the internet, thinking it's more important than it is, and getting angry about it. Isn't that funny? It's never-ending. But I guess that's it LOL

So there was this one account (@/trumanblackOG) that popped up in April. People were joking about it being Mattys burner account but no one ACTUALLY thought it was.

Most people just memed abt it being him. But like no actual proof. All the account did was like posts.

But yesterday it liked a meme about Taylor Swift, and people thought it was funny. So they started spreading screenshots around like “guys Matty liked this isn’t that hilarious” but in a very joking way. Like nobody actually thought it was him.

But those jokes started to gain traction and more views than normal and suddenly trumanblackOG unliked the post, turned off DMs, and locked the account.

Which is not… the kind of behavior a troll would do? Like if you’re just trolling and pretending to be Matty, why would you panic when you get more attention? Isn’t that what you want?

Anyway the account is fully deactivated today. I personally am not convinced it’s actually Matty, but it’s…. Weird. What do you think? Just a troll?

There might be a chance that this is Matty. According to some uncertain information that someone’s told me. Which I don’t wanna share cuz I have my doubts and don’t want to spread false info on the off chance that it’s not true. Certainly seems weird. Like if it were someone pretending, why would they close everything? On the other hand, Matty’s verified Reddit handle is “Truman Black OG” and I feel like he knows people know that and would be suspicious of the handle as soon as they saw it. Idkkkk.

I wanted to make some kind of tribute— a goodbye letter, I guess— to this game, but it's.... Very wordy. I'm putting it under the cut so that you guys don't have to read it, just look at the Sakuya if that's what you wanna do.

One of the ways I'd describe this game is that it's hard to believe, in a lot of ways. It's hard to believe the situations the characters get put in. It's hard to believe the way some jokes are translated because it's just so out there. It's hard to believe I've only been playing it for almost seven months, and it's still so, so hard to believe that it's going away.

It's hard to believe that I ever found it in the first place because it all felt like a dream. I remember when I first saw it— a mutual was reblogging posts about it, and I remember thinking, "Huh. That looks interesting." I don't know what I saw in those screenshots that made me feel that way. A3! was the kind of game I didn't actively seek out because it appealed to a specific crowd that I didn't consider myself part of, and yet, there I was. I put it on the back burner, always toying with the idea that one day I might press that install button and see what it might do for me. I stalled around it for a while, but I knew it was inevitable that I'd play it one day.

The year was 2021. My friend talked my ear off about the game for the entirety of spring, and one summer evening, I decided to cave in and throw my hat into the ring. I mean, the game was only like 60 MB, right? It's not like it'd kill me to try, I could just uninstall it if I ended up getting bored by it.

I remember that evening so vividly. It feels like it was just yesterday that I was naming my heroine, experiencing the graphics and interface for the first time, and getting incredibly annoyed by the tutorial walking me through everything when I just wanted to find a way to adjust the text speed. I remember watching Romeo and Julius for the first time with 4/6th of my cast being Sakuya because I thought it was hilarious. I remember wondering why a Halloween event would be running in the middle of summer, and I remember spending too many gems at the July Birthday Scout because I didn't know how the banners in the game worked yet. The gradual end of that summer was my strongest memory from 2021.

And now I have to say goodbye to those memories. I'd barely even started Act 2 when the announcement dropped. There was no outrage or sadness, just... confusion. What the hell was I supposed to do now? All these gems, cards, all these badges I earned— what did it all mean to me now? But even after that, I still played. Infrequently, sure, but I still made sure to log in at least once a week. I'd just make sure to get the badges I wanted, read every backstage story that I still had, and.... who knows. It's a relatively void existence, but at least it still existed.

Then the actual termination of operations was announced— right as I was in the middle of my anniversary run. I didn't even have the energy in me to be upset about it at first. I just kept going about my days like I usually did. Except, at some point, I didn't want to log in to the game anymore, because it meant admitting to a reality I didn't want to face.

A few weeks before the end date, I popped into the game. I thought that the least I could do was make the most of it before it disappeared. I accidentally ended up ranking myself up, and I got 50 gems as a reward. It was kinda funny, actually— how in a normal situation I would be happy at an extra 50 gems, but this just made my heart sink in despair.

I had exactly 145 gems. I had exactly enough for one last ten pull. I thought I would've cried.

I decided to pick a tryout, rolled, and....

..... Nothing. Absolutely nothing special. It was a completely ordinary pull.

Something about it was just so.... innocent to me. It didn't give me a new card to pity me, it just gave me a normal pull. My final ten pull in a game that would soon cease to exist was just a bunch of dupes.

I had to lie down for a while. There's no way I could keep playing. It actually hit me how much I had left to lose when this game goes away. I thought I'd be fine if i just hopped to the japanese server because oh thank god, they're still there, they wont leave yet.

But it's just so different. Reading the prologue again, seeing Sakuya's desperate attempts at acting and keeping the theater alive, even though I've already gone through so many insane journeys with him in a past life— the weight of it all just drowned me under a sea of bittersweet melancholy.

I'll miss those journeys. I'll miss all the jokes that made me laugh, all the scenes that made me cry, all the pulls that made me scream in both rage and joy. I'll miss the cards and badges I earned. I'll miss the memories I've made with this found family, this bundle of fictional characters who've helped me come to terms with a lot of things I've struggled with in reality. I still treat it like a miracle— how I found the game at the exact time in my life when it would resonate with me the most, and the sheer amount of things that it's done for me in the span of less than half a year. Maybe you can call it fate, or maybe you could say that the game found me instead of me finding it first. Or maybe it's just a good old combination of luck and coincidence, like how a lot of things in this game are.

its a Sunday afternoon. maybe 1pm. I'm having a fun time. nothing is going on. I saw my dad on Saturday afternoon because I needed him to pick me up from work

out of nowhere, I get a text from Jasmine asking if he picked me up from work yesterday. "oh no," I think, "is this about drugs or cheating"

i send a screenshot to my friends for posterity (with the caption "I think he's in trouble") and tell her that yes, I was picked up from work yesterday at 9.30pm. gave the exact time so that if he was out for longer then she'd know his excuse was wrong.

because my father has a history of cheating. because he's a very fun person.

she responds with the world's longest text which I don't think I ever full read, but it showed up in my notifications bar as "Thanks honey, your father cheated on me"

Not to worry, I don't think I ever fully explained it. Here's the full story, complete with screenshots:

For the past.... I actually don't know how long, I never really kept track, but let's just say two months, I would occasionally get an ask from an anon, requesting that I search Coq Courage in the Miraculous wiki and post the image that came with it (an image of the silhouettes of all the new heroes to appear in season 4). I wish I still had them so I could show you exactly what they said, but I usually just deleted them when I got them (sorry anon). It was always something like "there's a spoiler in the miraculous wiki, search Coq Courage and post what you find, please and thank you" or "if you search Coq Courage in the Miraculous wiki you will find a picture. Please post this picture once you find it. Thank you in advance." Nothing rude or anything, but I just didn't want to humor it.

Anyway, I got another one yesterday, and I guess I was in the mood to be a troll, so I just made a post that said "coq courage" and nothing else. Then I got this message:

But I answered most of those asks with nothing more than a "coq courage" and also reblogged my original post and added "c o q c o u r a g e", and received this ask in response:

In the tags of one of the normal asks I got, in which someone said "isn't coq courage the rooster miraculous holder?" And I responded with "coq courage :)", I said something like "maybe anon will finally free me from my prison now that I've acknowledged who coq courage is." Then I got this ask:

I also got an ask (I'm too lazy to screenshot it right now but you can see it on my blog if you scroll down) from a "random anon" saying "I looked up coq courage because you're posting it so much and I think the person wants you to post a picture of the superhero silhouettes... you should do that." At this point I hadn't said anything specific about anyone in my inbox, just what I put in the tags above, so I knew it was Coq Courage Anon. I responded with "well dang, why didn't they just tell me that :/"

I can't really take anyone seriously when they aggressively call someone "Hamster," nor when they only thing they can do to me is just repeatedly send anon asks, so I reblogged my original post again and added "C O Q C O U R A G E". Then I got this very convincing ask:

Unfortunately at that point I had to go run some errands, so I couldn't respond, and by the time I got back home I felt like too much of an errand-running adult to keep poking a Tumblr anon with a stick. So I just made this meme to give you guys some vague context

and changed my header title to "Coq Courage is holting me hostag in a volcano Help" (a reference to a post I made during it all in which I just typed out the Miraculous intro but boldened some letters to spell "I am being helt hostag") and let it be. Anon never sent me any other messages after that so I can only assume they moved onto more worthwhile things.

When Tom was pulled aside by the Russo Brothers when he was filming End Game and was given the plot line of the movie Cherry, Tom immediately thought of you. You were his baby sister that served in the military. Tom was hesitant to take the role of an army medic that has PTSD and struggles with addiction. This character would hit home in a way.

You had been home leading to Tom leaving for Atlanta to film the final Avengers movie, but you left shortly after he did to go back on deployment. Tom was never fully calm when he knew you weren’t home. He constantly worried.

When the Russo’s came to him, they knew he would have to consider everything from career to personal. They knew you served your country. What they didn’t know was that you were already suffering from PTSD. Tom knew, which is why it took him all of filming to give them an answer.

One morning when Tom was talking to you, he mentioned the role and how he didn’t know if he should take it. It discussed heavy issues. He wasn’t sure if he would be able to bring it justice. You encouraged him to take the role. You told him you knew he could do the role. That he was an amazing actor. You included that doing this movie could help start a conversation about mental health and addiction within soldiers and veterans.

Tom remembered the conversation like it was yesterday. Now the trailer is being released and he is starting the virtual press tour. You had just come home right before Christmas. Your Christmas present to your family was telling them you were retiring from the military. Tom was ecstatic at the news. He hated worrying about you when you were gone. He was constantly thinking that the next phone call he got was going to be his parents telling him you weren’t coming home.

A month later, you were currently staying with Tom until you found your own place. When Tom was sent the trailer to Cherry for him to post on his own social media the next day, he brought his computer to your room. He knocked on the door and opened it when he heard a quiet “come in.”

“Hey Y/N?” You looked up from your iPad when he spoke.

“Yeah?” You asked, confused.

“I have the trailer for Cherry. They just sent it over. Want to watch?” He asked hopefully. You could see the slight fear in his eyes, but you didn’t understand why.

“Sure.” You smiled at him and set your iPad on your night stand. Tom smiled back at you and sat down on the other side of the bed. He quickly made it full screen and hit play. He had already watched it so Tom watched you through the corner of his eye. He noticed that when it showed the war scenes, you tensed.

When the trailer was over, Tom slowly exited out and shut his computer screen. “What did you think? They are going to send over the movie this weekend. Figured me and you could make a movie night out of it with the whole family.”

“I liked it. You look like you did a good job so far. I can’t wait to watch it.” You smiled at him. Tom immediately knew you were putting on your fake smile.

“Everything okay?” He asked, concerned.

“Yeah. I just…” You sighed and looked away from Tom. “Just still adjusting to everything. You know that I’m going to therapy, right?”

Tom shook his head, “No, I just thought you were going to mum’s and dad’s.”

“No. I’ve been going to therapy. I’m at three days a week right now. The nightmares are just too much to handle. Then I hear sounds during the day and it just flashes me back to there.”

“I’m sorry y/n/n. You know you can talk to me. I want you to know you can talk to me. No matter what time. I talked with veterans, I don’t know what you went through, but I know it wasn’t good. After playing this character, I don’t want to see that happen to you. Did they prescribe medicine?” He asked.

You shook your head.

“Okay. If they feel you need to, please let me know. I really, really don’t want you to go through addiction. I don’t even want to risk it for you to even get close to addiction.” He said seriously. You knew he was. You didn’t want the medicine anyways.

“I can’t wait to see the movie.” You said with a smile. “But can I ask if we can start it early? I already know, I’ll probably need to pause it and take a minute when it gets to those scenes.” You said. You didn’t even need to specify which ones. Tom knew already that watching the military scenes were going to be hard for you.

“Yeah. We can. And if you want it to be just us, that’s perfectly okay. I can watch it with everyone else the next night.” He said giving you options.

You shook your head to turn down the new option, “that’s okay. I can watch it with them. Just let them know I will need to pause it.” Tom smiled at you and nodded before kissing your head and getting off your bed. Tom left to go show everyone else the trailer. 

After he posted the trailer to his Instagram a few days later, positive comments started flooding his Instagram and Twitter. You scrolled through the comments from Harry, Haz, the Russo Brothers, and more people Tom knew and worked with and like all of them. You were so happy to see them support Tom. He had the right people in his corner.Next you saw a post from Tuwaine. First you scrolled through the photos. They were of Tom as Cherry throughout the different times in the characters life.

It’s funny, cos when I see bae do a role like this, I’m reminded again and again of how talented he truly is. I don’t think the world can look at you the same way once this is out.

He added that the trailer link was in his bio and you smiled. Not many people would do that, but Tuwaine has been one of Tom’s day 1s. You loved Tuwaine like a brother. You couldn’t ask for a better best friend for your brother.

You knew Tuwaine’s words were 100% correct. People saw Tom as a kid. They saw him like he is this sweet, innocent teenager like Peter Parker. He didn’t hate that, but he also hated being seen as a kid. Don’t get him wrong, he loves Spider-Man and he would love to play that character for the rest of his life, but he’s 24. He wanted to be taken seriously and no one takes a kid seriously.

You remember getting the selfie Tom sent to your phone when he was filming. You didn’t get it until you returned home, but he loved to text your phone when things happened so you could stay up to date with him. The selfie Tom sent you was when he was in Morocco. He was in all of his military gear. The text under it was,

I put this suit on and I feel like I’m an imposter. I feel like I don’t deserve to wear this. I’m just an actor, you are the real hero in this world. But when I feel like this, I remember what you told me. “If anyone can play this role, it’s you Tom. You have a connection to the military. You see what it can do to the family and friends around the soldier. You know what it has done to me. If anyone can bring this character to the screen and help start a conversation about PTSD and addiction, it’s you. I don’t know another actor that would take it seriously and give it 110%.” I hope this movie does start that conversation. I hope people see this character and realize the severity of it. Thank you for pushing me to do this role. I love you. I can’t wait to see you again. Stay safe y/n/n. I love you.

Tom, I honestly don’t know what words to say right now, you know I’m not good at them, but I’m proud of you. I’m proud of you for going outside your comfort zone. You went into this movie to show people you can be more than the nerdy high school kid and to start a conversation. I read all the text you sent me when filming this. When Tom got the notification that he was tagged in a post by you, he smiled. He smiled even bigger seeing the photos you used and as he read the caption. He was the luckiest brother in the world to have a sister like you. He quickly comment thank you and love you with a kiss and heart emojis.

“Tom?” You asked as you walked into his room to see him lying on the bed.

“Yeah?” He questioned.

“I really am proud of you. Let’s go out for lunch. My treat.” You smiled. Tom got out of bed and walked to you.

“Thank you for pushing me to do this role. I’m really glad I did it.” He said and gave you a kiss on the head. “Now go get dressed, I’m paying.” He said with an arrogant tone and walked towards his bathroom. You left to get dressed while laughing. Knowing it was going to be a fight to see who actually paid for lunch.
