Aubrey is Beca's older step-sister but they're pretty close. Aubrey is overprotective of Beca because of???? (insert secret here). Chloe is Aubrey's BFF but they only met at Barden. When Beca comes to Barden and meets Chloe, Aubrey senses the connection between them. She's torn between wanting Beca and Chloe to be happy, keeping Beca's secret, and not wanting either of them to get hurt.

“Bree?” Aubrey knows that voice. Her heart nearly stops in her chest as she turns in time to see her step-sister, smiling brightly at her.

“Beca!” The blonde moves quickly and wraps her arms around the smaller woman in a bone crushing hug. It’s been a few months since she’s last seen Beca. Not since mid summer, anyway – when Aubrey had gone home to spend time with her father and step-mother and of course, Beca.

During that time, Beca had surprised her with the news that she’d be attending Barden next year, with Aubrey. However, the brunette had kept her arrival time a secret.

“I don’t mean to interrupt, but…” Aubrey pulls back at that, though she doesn’t release Beca entirely, her arm moving to loop itself with the tiny brunette’s as she offers her best friend a sheepish smile. Chloe just smiles brightly back, blue eyes darting between the two of them curiously.

“Chloe, this is Beca– my sister. Beca, this is Chloe–”

Chloe holds out her hand eagerly. “The best friend.” She interjects excitedly. “I’ve heard a lot about you!”

Beca smiles bemusedly for a moment, staring down at the hand hanging between them before she finally takes it, shaking it hesitantly. “Uh– cool. Nice to meet you, dude.” She raises a brow at Aubrey who looks away with a small grin.

“Oh, don’t worry!” Chloe chirps with a wide grin. “All good things.”

Beca chuckles. “I’m sure.” Her lips curve into a crooked smirk. “I’ve heard about you, too.” Aubrey watches as Chloe raises her brows expectantly. “Oh, don’t worry.” Beca starts, her smirk growing. “All good things.”

“Well, obviously.” Chloe says in a ‘duhhh’ sort of tone. “I’m aca-awesome!”

“And humble, apparently.” Beca quips in amusement. “Also, we’ve got to talk about both of your apparent annihilation of the English language. ‘aca’ is not a real prefix, guys.”

“Aca-scuse me?” Aubrey shoves Beca playfully.

“Oh it totes is!” Chloe says, nodding her head sagely.

Beca just smirks. “Wow. I can feel my IQ dropping just standing here.”

Aubrey scoffs and rolls her eyes in amused affection. “Please, like you had any to spare in the first place.”

The smaller woman feigns a gasp, hand going to her heart. “You wound me with your words, Posen.”

Meanwhile, Chloe watches with a mixture of curiosity and amusement.

“Shut up Mitchell.” Aubrey shakes her head, but her expression soon turns to one of concern. “Now, why didn’t you tell me you were coming? Do you need help finding your dorm or unpacking? How did you even know where to find me?”

Beca’s smile turns soft as she places a reassuring hand on Aubrey’s arm. “No worries, dude. I’m good to go. I’m already unpacked over at Baker Hall. First floor, room 6. As for how I found you– Bree you’ve been talking about this– activities fair thing nonstop, every time we talk on the phone or skype.”

“Speaking of–” Chloe says before Aubrey can reply. “You should totes join. Bree says you’ve got an amazing voice and you’re crazy talented.”

Beca raises a brow at Aubrey who shrugs like, ‘so?’. “Don’t look at me like that. You are crazy talented.”

“See? So, you should totes audition. We could really use you.” Chloe says, taking hold of one of Beca’s arms. Aubrey internally winces as Beca’s body visibly stiffens. Sometimes she forgets how… personable Chloe can be. She prepares for Beca to rip her arm away, but to Aubrey’s surprise, she doesn’t.

Instead, Beca just kind of stares up into Chloe’s eyes, body slowly relaxing, while Chloe stares back, smile bright and completely oblivious to Beca’s unease.

“Please?” Chloe pouts, giving the arm in her hand a gentle squeeze.

Beca blinks after a moment, cheeks tinging pink as she stumbles back a little. “I– uh– I’ll think about it, red.” Aubrey is torn between being concerned and amused. Her step-sister is kind of a useless gay when it comes to pretty girls and Aubrey usually teases her relentlessly for it, but this– this has the potential to be a nightmare waiting to happen. And not because she thinks Chloe would break Beca’s heart– no, Chloe isn’t the type. She loves without reservation, she loves hard. No, it would definitely be Beca who did the breaking– and most likely not on purpose, either.

Plus, she cares deeply for these two people, and the last thing she wants is for either of them to be hurt. She pushes these thoughts aside, though– choosing to hope that something like that doesn’t happen.

“You better!” Chloe finally releases Beca’s arm and turns toward their table to grab a flier before thrusting it into Beca’s hand.

Beca ends up auditioning, much to Aubrey’s (delighted) surprise. What Aubrey isn’t too delighted about is that Chloe seems all the more smitten with Beca. It’s why she keeps a close eye on her step-sister during hoodnight. Her protective instincts really rise to the surface when Beca becomes visibly uneasy as one of the new Treble recruits approaches her.

“– It’s inevitable. You’re one of those acapella girls and I’m one of those acapella boys, and we’re going to have aca-children together.” Aubrey hears the Treble-boy say as she walks up beside Beca.

Beca makes a face. “Yeah, no, dude. I don’t see that happening.”

“How do you know if you don’t give me a chance?” The Treble-maker pouts, wobbling a little, clearly on his way to drunk.

Aubrey chooses that moment to make herself known, looping her arm through Beca’s and shooting a glare toward the boy in front of them. “She’s not interested.”

A frown mars the boy’s face. “Who are you? Her keeper?”

Aubrey steps in front of Beca and towers over the Treble-maker. “No, but I am her sister, and not only that, but I’m also the captain of the Barden Bellas and it’s against the rules to… fraternize with a Treble-maker.” She narrows her eyes and inches forward a little more. “And I’m pretty sure I heard her say that she isn’t interested.”

“Bree–” Beca tugs gently on Aubrey’s arm. “It’s okay. I got this.”

Aubrey glances behind her, taking in Beca’s slight half smile and the way she gives her a soft little nod. After a moment, Aubrey nods back and steps aside, but crosses her arms and glares at the puppy-faced boy from behind Beca.

“Listen, dude. See, it’s not going to happen, because I’m like– really gay.”

It seems to take puppy-face a moment to process Beca’s words, but Aubrey sees the exact moment that he realizes. And if Aubrey weren’t trying to be intimidating right now, she’d laugh at how his stupid face drops in embarrassment and what she assumes disappointment.

Beca on the other hand, seems to be holding her breath, muscles taught with tension; ready to bolt. It breaks Aubrey’s heart and she vows that if this stupid boy says something mean, she’ll punch him. Or at least give him a verbal lashing.

But then Jesse offers up a sheepish smile. “Oh,” He scratches the back of his neck and glances away. “Shit, I must’ve come off as such an ass. I’m sorry.” Aubrey blinks. Was he–? That… that wasn’t the reaction she was expecting.

Apparently, neither was Beca. She stands there, looking unsure of how to respond. But before either of them can even think of a good response anyway, Jesse’s smile turns bright. “We could be lesbros!”

“Oh my god, dude.” Aubrey watches as Beca’s body relaxes slightly, her tone full of cautious amusement. “No way. We are not being that, and if you ever say that again, I’ll smack you.”

Jesse seems unperturbed as he shakes his head. “Nope, it’s happening. We’re lesbros. I’ll be your wing-man, and you’ll be mine– it’ll be great!”

“You’re drunk.” Beca says, a small smirk creasing her lips. But Aubrey can still see the hesitation in her posture and she frowns.

“Nah, I’m just tipsy.” He goes to take another sip of his drink and frowns. “Empty,” His frown turns into a full blown pout which Aubrey thinks looks ridiculous on him. “Time for a refill. Do either of you ladies need a drink?”

This time Aubrey steps up. “Uh, no… but, thanks.” She tries to smile politely because this dumb treble was nice, but she still doesn’t like him. Or his stupid puppy face. Jesse shrugs and turns away, heading down toward the keg.

Beca sighs audibly and Aubrey watches as her shoulders droop. Concern washes over Aubrey and she takes her step-sister’s elbow. “Hey, you okay?”

“Uh– yeah, yeah. I just–” She frowns, running a shaky hand through her hair.

“I know, I was expecting more of a scene.” Aubrey frowns at the way Beca trembles slightly. “Can I walk you back to your dorm?” Beca looks like she wants to refuse, but instead she gives a jerky nod. So Aubrey loops her arm through Beca’s a leads her away from the amphitheater.

Beca sighs and lets her head drop against Aubrey’s shoulder. “Thanks. I think the build up of it has my anxiety really high.” She admits quietly.

Aubrey knew that. She was– is afraid it’ll send her into an episode, but she doesn’t point that out. Instead, she wrap an arm around Beca’s waist and presses a chaste kiss to the other’s temple. “You did good.”

Unbeknownst to the both of them, someone watches with a worried little frown on her face from her perch on one of the higher amphitheater seats.

an only child born to a secretary for a mother & an often unemployed father in athens , ohio in late 1996 . life for young donna was nothing out of any film you would enjoy watching . a childhood full of neglect & growing up much too fast for your own good . her father , matthew , had fallen into heavy addiction just a year before donna’s birth & her mother , denise , had learned to bury her sorrows with a bottle of alcohol . well below the poverty index there were many nights she knew she wouldn’t come home to food on the table but instead a slew of addicts getting their high in the middle of the living room , keeping the young girl up at all times of the night with their rowdy antics .

by the time she reached third grade she’d learned that her day at school would go over much more smoothly if she made sure she had her backpack, coat & on the one off chance that there was enough food in the house pack her lunch , because if she waited for one of her parents to do it for her she’d never make it to school on time . her mom often had to rush to work in a hungover state & her father didn’t wake up until after she was already due for school , so donna had relied on the bus to get to & from school each day .

at twelve she’d realized that she was much happier the less time she spent at home & so she did all she could to stay out with her friends . she became one of those kids you passed wondering where their parents were at that time of night as them & their friends wreaked havoc in the streets of athens . picking up smoking weed at the ripe age of thirteen , she quickly learned nothing was a better fix for how much she’d hated her life than a quick blunt . she’d fallen into a dark place at a very young age & from her perspective there was really no way out of the downward spiral she had fallen into . she blamed her parents for messing her up so badly & often when she was home it turned into blows between herself & her parents the end result always landed her at one of her friends houses for the night.

it wasn’t until she was fifteen that she befriended a new girl whose parents took a liking to donna & really took her in . it was something like a safe haven spot for her , somewhere she always knew she could go & they’d want to hear about her day or feed her . they’re the ones who learned of donna’s wanting to join the school theater club & urged her to do so . they attended her first performance & her second, third , fourth , etc .

one of her performances at the school garnered the attention of a screenwriter who felt she was a perfect fit for a character they were in the process of creating . this was when her first hollywood deal came , initially turning it down as she had no means to so much as leave the city of athens forget travel to an entirely different state . the screenwriter offered to take care of her completely & before she knew it she was working on the first installment of the hunger games .

when she got back to athens after spending a few months in los angeles she’d realized just how much potential there was out in the world . at this point she decided to take things within her life a bit more seriously . there was a life outside of athens , ohio & donna was craving for it now . making the conscious decision to focus on her schooling with the hopes that she’d be able to get into a decent university . college had never been so much as thought for donna before she’d left the city but after filming a movie , she realized almost anything was possible even for someone like her .

during this same year , her parents split up & her father got back together with his highschool sweetheart , this prompted her father to admit to donna that she had a brother who was three years older than her , who was actually in college . the two got to know one another fairly well when he’d come back home from school during breaks & the two found themselves loving the idea of having a sibling . mutually upset that they’d spent so much of their time not knowing each other so much as existed . donna lived with her father & step-mother amanda in athens & the change in her father was more than visible . she was more than happy that her father had gotten on the straight & narrow , no matter what had to take place for it to happen & who he needed in his life for it to take place . in this time her mother moved to cincinnati & the separation actually made the relationship between donna & her mother stronger .

in 2014 , she graduated from highschool & had committed to attending ohio state university as a theater major . during her time in columbus , ohio she & her new found friends took a liking to the downtown area where they found a hidden gem bar that often held open mic nights . this is where donna was really able to cultivate her love for stand up , despite dabbling in it a few times back in high school & whenever she was out in los angeles . she took to college well & somehow managed to juggle her education , career & social life fairly well . if you ask her how she did it , she’ll always give all the credit to her brother brody & maybe some residual credit to weed .

in her sophomore year she’d fallen in love for the very first time , with one of the quarterbacks at her university . they dated for two years before he’d decided to transfer to lousiana state university . she understood why he did it , he had a career in football he was chasing & she couldn’t be mad at him about that . despite the long distance & at times very hectic schedules between the two of them she worked on being the most supportive girlfriend she could to him & made it out to any & every game she possibly could of his .

after graduating from ohio state she moved down to lousiana in hopes to be with him more but her career kind of kept going & so she was nearly in louisiana just as often as she had been before moving down there. they made it work for a good amount of time , but the distance just started to become a little too much . donna is someone who craves affection after a childhood of not much affection to be sparred . she caught herself at times during the relationship on the verge of cheating , but she is a staunch believer that if you truly love someone you could never do something of that magnitude to them . it was a mutual break up , that came in the early months of 2019 .

she’s now been living in calabasas since she moved out of louisiana & is learning to get back onto her feet without someone there to uplift her .

on december 23rd of 2019 a sex tape with donna’s name plastered all over it had been released online . it was a sex tape of her & her ex who by this time has cemented himself as the likely first round pick in the nfl draft . the sex tape took off & it seemed as though every time her team managed to get it down , it popped up somewhere else . both donna & her ex knew neither one was to blame for the leaking of the sex tape & so they worked together to figure out who was behind it , today their getting closer & closer to finding the person who did it . despite this , the tape is still able to be viewed on the internet it you dig hard enough . although not many have to do that as it had gone vial upon it’s initial release back in december .

Tucking her phone and room key into her purse, Aasha made her way to the elevator to go down to the bar in the hotel. Leati's flight wouldn't land for at least another half hour, meaning he'd probably get to the hotel in an hour.

She had arrived earlier in the day, and spent most of it preparing a surprise for him, going through the internet, and asking friends who had experience; she figured she'd treat herself a little before he got here.

She'd known for a while now that Leati had a thing for the whole school girl outfit, and Aasha had been getting more and more curious about trying anal, though she hadn't said anything about it to Leati.

Over the past month or so she had been working her way up from the smallest anal plug, looking up how to do enemas properly, and talking to experienced friends. She'd also been putting together the perfect outfit for him, choosing each article of clothing separately to fit the idea she had in mind.

However, both their schedules had been too busy and they'd barely seen each other for the past 3 weeks. They were finally getting a whole week to themselves, and Leati suggested that they spend it in Rome at the renowned Westin Excelsior.

The Westin Excelsior was a stunning hotel that stood right in the middle of Rome; the architecture reminiscent of Ancient Roman palaces. The building itself was six stories tall, with a dome on top of one corner. Leati had, as usual, booked the biggest, most luxurious suite; the Villa La Cupola took up a good portion of the fifth and sixth floor of the hotel, including the dome.

Aasha's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she first walked into their villa. The living room was huge, decorated with a beautiful fresco; the velvety red curtains hanging from the floor to ceiling windows were drawn, allowing the sun to brighten up the room and warm up the marble floors.

It had its own kitchen, dining room, studio, and even a private gym, but her favourite feature was the Roman bath style Jacuzzi on the sixth floor that led to a terrace over looking the city, with St. Peter's Basilica in the distance.

The bedroom was another work of art; the floors covered with a beige and brown carpet that had red and peach designs curling across, matching the furniture, and heavy curtains.

There was a king sized bed pushed back against the wall, positioned so that the sun lit up the pristine white sheets; it was high enough that she needed to hop up onto it. The four posts around the bed were painted a bright gold that was offset by the gold patterned red drapes hanging off of them.

The rest of the hotel was just as beautiful, with its marble flooring, and artwork. She wandered around a little, admiring the beautiful paintings, and statues that decorated the different hallways before asking one of the staff to point her in the direction of the bar.

The bar was fairly empty, with only a small group of people occupying a corner of the room. Aasha hopped up onto one of the leather clad bar stools and ordered a cherry martini from the bartender. She thanked the bartender and gave him the room number to open a tab.

As she sat at the bar enjoying her drink, her mind began to wander back a few years to when she was in a similar place, waiting to meet Leati for the first time.

Aasha sat at the table of a fancy restaurant, her delicate fingers running up and down the stem of her glass as she waited for him. She had never been this nervous before, especially since she'd never done anything like this before either.

She was barely into her first year of college, and she was switching her major to photography, something her parents were not willing to financially support. Aasha didn't want to take student loans, but fortunately, her friend had told her about the arrangement she had with her sugar daddy, and Aasha had decided to give it a shot.

She had made it explicitly clear that she wasn't willing to do anything sexual for money; coming from a religious, Indian family, she had done barely anything more than kissing. She didn't really care about waiting till marriage to have sex, but she wasn't comfortable with the idea of having her first time be with some random guy who payed her for it.

It came as quite a surprise to her when Leati contacted her. She'd expected him to be less attractive, and much older than he was; granted he was about 10 years older than her, but he was only in his late 20s.

He had given her basic information about himself, and what he would want out of an arrangement, and they had agreed to meet face to face before finalizing anything. He was one of the founders of a major security company that often provided bodyguards to the highest ranking people, and he simply wanted someone to attend work functions with him without the hassle or drama of courting someone.

She was so lost in her thoughts that when a large hand gently gripped her shoulder she jumped, nearly knocking her virgin strawberry daiquiri over in the process; she looked up at the owner to find Leati Anoa'i looking down at her.

"Hi, you must be Aasha, I'm Leati," he said, flashing her a smile.

Her lips parted a little as her eyes drank him in, he was even more beautiful in real life, and certainly more intimidating if he wasn't smiling. He wore a grey suit with a red tie, his hair was slicked back into a bun, and he was clean shaven except for his mustache and goatee.

She blinked a couple times before realizing she was staring at him, she hurriedly stood up and held out her hand, a blush spread across her face as it finally occurred to her that she had no idea what she was supposed to do.

"I-um, yeah-it's good to meet you," she stuttered, biting the inside of her cheek for that. Her face turned redder as he chuckled and gently wrapped his hand around her fingers and pressed a light kiss on her knuckles.

"Pleasure's all mine, babygirl," he replied, letting go of her hand so they could both take a seat. "So, what would you like to eat?"

They spent the rest of the evening talking, and getting to know each other. He was one of three of the major owners of the company, he lived in Tampa about 45 minutes away from her, and he traveled a lot. By the end of the night, Aasha was relaxed, and comfortable enough around him to explain what she wanted, and what she was willing to do.

They didn't have any clashing needs, and he was more than happy to tell her that he'd draw up an agreement as soon as possible for the both of them to sign. He didn't seem to care that she wanted to keep their relationship platonic, but he did say once that if she wanted to go further he wouldn't be opposed to it.

Setting down her empty glass, she left a generous tip for the bartender, and slowly began to make her way back up to the room.

Over time her and Leati's relationship had evolved. They had become good friends, and she stuck with him through two attempted hostile takeovers by his partners even when he tried telling her he didn't want her caught up in that. He started bringing her to family gatherings, stating that he wanted his mother to stop bugging him about settling down. She got to know his family, his twin cousins who became his new partners, and even became close friends with his sister-in-laws, Trinity and Kecia.

As they spent more time together, she started to develop feelings for Leati, but her fear of rejection kept her silent, until one day she got a little too tipsy at an event and ended up confessing to him in the car.

Leati had a firm grip on Aasha's waist as they made their way down the steps of the hotel; he was glowering from the incident moments ago, one hand clenched into a fist at his side. Aasha couldn't help the shiver of fear that ran through her when she looked up at him, the only other time she'd seen him this angry was when Colby tried to wrest the company from Leati.

"That's your own fault, Lopez," she glared at him, she wanted to get up and leave but there were people standing around the table, blocking her off; the only exit was past the man leering at her. "No one forced you to stab us-him in the back."

"Us? Did you guys finally hook up? Or is it still purely platonic?" he scoffed, not even bothering to acknowledge everything else she'd said.

"N-no, we're just good friends, something you obviously know nothing about," she bit back, taking another gulp of her drink.

"So you're not off the market? Cause I assure you, I can be a very good friend," Colby's smirk widened into a malicious smile as he leaned in, a hand coming to rest on her bare knee. She recoiled with disgust, ready to throw her drink in his face when she felt a larger hand grab her arm, pulling her up and away from him.

She looked up to see Leati glaring at his former partner; Colby had the good sense to look somewhat scared as he stood up and subtly tried to back away. For each step he took back, the large Samoan took two forward.

"Hey, hey, listen, he's not worth it, let's just leave," Aasha pleaded, tugging at his arm. She tried not to shiver as he looked at her, his infamous volcanic rage simmering in his eyes. "Please."

"Fine," he said, giving Lopez one last scathing look before turning on his heel to march off with his arm around Aasha's waist. She texted the driver to meet them at the front as they made their way through the halls of the hotel.

They came to a stop at the entrance, waiting for the driver to pull up with their limo. Aasha turned to Leati, unbuttoning his jacket to slide her arms around him as she buried her face in the crook of his neck. A startled sound bubbled in his throat, but he hugged her back, kissing the top of her head. They stayed like that until the car drove up.

"I'm sorry," Leati said as he settled in next to her; she looked up at him in surprise. "I know you hate it when I get mad, I just couldn't stand the fact that he put his hands on you, I didn't mean to scare you."

"No, it's okay, you could never scare me, it was actually kinda hot," she mumbled the last part, her face heating up at the confession. She buried her face in his shoulder when his serious expression turned into a smirk. She arched into him as he slid a hand up her spine to grab her hair and pull her head back.

"You think it's hot?" he asked, a dangerous gleam in his eyes as he leaned in closer so that his face was inches from hers. "I-"

She cut him off with a kiss, her hands grabbing his shoulders to pull him closer. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her onto him so that she was straddling his lap. She teasingly bit his lip, eliciting a deep growl from him. She pulled away to look up at him, the both of them panting a little as they stared at each other wide eyed.

"I think I love you," she blurted.

Aasha chuckled at the memory as she walked into the VIlla; back then she had been mortified, but thinking back to it now it seemed rather funny.

Glancing at her phone she saw that she had 40 more minutes till Leati got there. It would be just enough time to shower, and finish the final steps for her surprise. She took a quick 15 minute shower, then hopped out to grab the lube and one of her plugs. She decided to go with one of the smaller ones with a pink diamond on the top because she didn't want to deal with any discomfort.

After working it in, she left the lube in the drawer of a nightstand by the bed, slipped on a shorter baby pink silk robe, and went back to the bathroom to dry off her hair. She finished just in time to hear the door to the Villa opening and closing.

"Aasha?" Her face lit up as she heard Leati's deep voice. She let out a shriek of happiness, rushing out of the bathroom to find him setting his bags down in the bedroom. She practically jumped into his arms, making him laugh as he picked her up with one arm; much to her delight he had grown his beard out, but it also tickled her skin as he buried his face in her neck. "I missed you too, babe."

"God you look so good, it feels like it's been forever, I hate being apart for that long, promise me we won't have to spend more than a week apart again, Lea," she mumbled, giving him a deep kiss to show him just how much she missed him; his chest rumbled against her as he chuckled at the nickname she'd used.

"I dunno if I can promise that, but I'm sure if you gave the Board a good talkin to, they'll see things your way," he joked, walking to the bed to set her down. She pulled back to give him a mock glare before grabbing the front of his shirt to bring him in for another kiss.

His large hands roamed over her thighs, pushing up her robe as he massaged her soft skin; her own hands were busy rediscovering his strong chest, enjoying the warmth that she had desperately missed over the past few weeks, when he pushed her back with a quick shove before dropping to his knees to push her legs apart. She was about to let him when she remembered that she'd prepared surprises for him.

"Wait! No, I, uh," she said, hurriedly sitting up and clamping her legs shut. Leati gave her the cutest pout as he stood up. "I'm sorry, its just I got you a couple surprises but I haven't finished putting them together. Why don't you go take a shower, I'll be done by then."

"I GUESS I can wait a little while longer," he sighed dramatically, giving her a kiss and a grin. "You better be done by the time I'm out, cause I'll fuck you right where you stand, got it?"

"Yes, Daddy," she said with a cheeky smirk as she pushed him towards the bathroom. He gave her one last kiss, and landed a smack on her ass before walking into the shower.

Aasha dug through her bag, pulling on the outfit she had put together; a white button up shirt tucked into a flow-y black skirt that barely covered her ass, white thigh high socks held up by black thigh garters, and a loosely tied black tie. She could hear her boyfriend getting out of the shower and turning on the hair dryer which gave her just enough time to brush her own hair out and pull it up into two ponytails.

She just finished tucking her brush away, and unbuttoning the top 3 buttons of her shirt when the bathroom door opened and out stepped Leati in nothing but a towel.

TBH, this message took me by surprise.

Let me try and unpack your Ask a bit because I feel likeperhaps I hurt feelings or did something wrong unintentionally. I also could gointo all the things happening in my life on the other side of this screen, butyou don’t need a bio (and I don’t think I should have to write one either).

First of all, I will say that I did actually make a postback in October about stepping back from the blog. This was a purposefuldecision of mine because I was spending a lot of my days in front of mycomputer during work, after work, andon the weekends scheduling and tagging posts. I was putting up 4 posts an hourfor 24 hours at the time, meaning I was tagging and scheduling nearly 100posts/day. I did this for several MONTHS. My social life took a dive, mysleeping schedule took a dive, and I wasn’t doing anything but running theblog. I call(ed) DME my “second job” when I talked about it with myfriends. That’s how much time I was spending on it.

Until about 2-3 weeks ago, I had cut the schedule back to 2posts/hour with a small queue running for a few hours during the middle of thenight. That’s still a lot of work for me, but it allowed me some personalpursuits off of the computer which is what I need to recharge.

With the new Andromeda trailers dropping more frequently andfandom content going into overdrive, I’ve had to up my posting schedule againto even try and keep up. Even when I’m “on top” of things I find I’mstill behind and I’m not catching up.

This breaks my heart because I feel like I’m letting peopledown. I am only one person though, so it’s important that it’s understood thatI’m doing the best that I can.

As for only reblogging art, I am sad to say that this istrue and I feel HUGELY guilty about it. The main reason why this happens isthat I want to read every piece of fiction I post and reading a story takes alot longer than looking at a work of fan art. I honestly have about 200 storiesfrom the fandom in my drafts that I want to read before I post. It’s horribleand rude and terrible of me. I can’t read it all like I want, I haven’t readANYTHING for fun in months, actually, because I’m too tired to when I finallyget to bed. It’s an excuse, yes, but it’s the truth.

I try to talk to everyone that messages me. Sometimes I’mable to reply right away and other times it can take me a week or two (ormore!) to answer. I’ve never been the best at conversations, even though I ambetter at written ones than verbal ones. (I am also terrible with replies because they take me forever to do.)

As for only talking to @omegastation and other MEL folks,that’s blatantly untrue and I’m not really sure where that assumption camefrom. I am sorry if it appears that way, but it’s definitely not the case. Yes,we talk, but those discussions of late are incredibly short and MEL business related andless of fun, “Hey what’s up and how are you doing?” convos.

In regards to Asks and memes, I actually try to answer asmany asks as I can and I often answer privately because that’s what’s warrantedby the message I’m sent. As for other Asks, I put a lot of time and thoughtinto them and they can take me quite a while to answer. However, because ofyour message, I’ve tried to go through as many of them as I can because it wasa task I had been neglecting. There are a couple of them that I will take sometime to answer still, but for the most part, I hope I’ve caught up.

Memes are also something that take me awhile to do. HonestlyI love(d) doing them for quite a while, but I became overburdened with themquickly. I also stopped getting emails from Tumblr over a year ago, so I onlysee posts I’m tagged in if I happen to see the tag in my notifications.Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. Getting tagged in something is an honor andI am really happy that people think of me when they do them.

It’s incrediblydifficult for me to do memes though because I want to do them right and notfast. I also get stressed and anxious about tagging other bloggers and doingchain messages because I always feel like I’m leaving people out and I don’twant others to have hurt feelings by not getting a message/tag. It’s a funpractice, but it can also cause hurt unintentionally. I kinda unofficiallystopped doing them for this reason. I want to tag EVERYONE, but I can’t, so Ijust don’t do them.

I support everyone and try to do so fairly. I’ve spent mostof my time in the tag now for the better part of a month, reblogging as much asI can. I know I’m missing posts but that’s basically because there is SO MUCHNEW CONTENT I cannot keep up. I try to reblog and showcase as many differentpeople and blogs as I can, but with the sheer amount of stuff going aroundright now, I am bound to miss some. I have considered opening my submissions tohelp with this, but in all honesty I prefer to reblog.

I haven’t forgotten about anyone. In reality this franchisehas a huge fan base and our “little” community that existed sixmonths ago has grown again as people have started coming back to Mass Effect asAndromeda approaches. Mass Effect 3 sold over 3.5 million copies on its own in itsFIRST MONTH OF RELEASE, which means that there are a TON of fans out there.Some of the fans weren’t as vocal until the Andromeda hype machines startedfull blast, but they’re back and excited now, and I’m happy that everyone ishere.

The thing is that now the community feels bigger and lesscohesive than it did last year. It’s not really, but it FEELS that way andthere’s so much content being produced daily that folks like me, who want toget as much Mass Effect in one spot, are having a hard time collating andorganizing it all. I physically can’t keep up, even if I spend all my wakinghours doing it.

Yes, I realize that perhaps my break seemed like I wasturning my back on the community and that’s definitely not the case. I had to step back for me and my mentalhealth. I miss the community and the friends I have here for sure. I misswriting! I miss talking to people about their Sheps. I miss lots of aspects ofTumblr that I was more active in 6 months ago. But I could not and cannot keepup with it all without it being detrimental to my life outside of the computerscreen.

I’m trying. I really am. I am sorry if I somehow missed apost of yours and didn’t reblog it. I’m sorry if there are mutuals who feelthat I’ve not boosted them enough. I’m sorry if I’ve left IM messagesunanswered. To be honest, I hardly feel “popular” and I kind of feelthe most hurt about that remark more than anything.

My goal has always been to make this blog a nice place forpeople to appreciate a game franchise they love and I hope I’m still doingthat, even if I’ve been unable to be directly in the thick of things for awhile now.

I was like A) Y'all didn't ask when I called & B) How in the world would I know to tell you that? Especially since y'all never asked. They basically said Oh well. She did make it clear that if I had not had auto drafting that the grace period would still stand. Maybe I'm clueless but I never had an incident where I was ever late on my car insurance. Now my DL is suspended. I don't know if this place gets a kick back by starting over my insurance w/a whole new policy. On the third of November 2017 I received my monthly Workman’s comp check in the amount of 928.00. I transferred to Bank OF AMERICA because of Wells Fargo’s illegal activity. I have FBI COMPLAINTS and police incidents regarding BANK FRAUD AND tampering with my account and changing the amount in my account in a matter of hours. Like I would check my account. It would say a 300 balance. Everyone knows when you buy something it post automatically. It deducts automatically. Hand on the bible I’m not guessing. I precisely checked my account because I am on a budget and the candy and soda were not planned and I didn’t entirely need it. But I say okay I have extra money from somewhere. I go buy a soda and a candy bar that’s 2.00 from 300.00 That’s 298. The next morning My account is negative 85.00 Obviously I didn’t spend 333.00 OVERNIGHT IN my sleep and I wouldn’t have been able to make the purchase with a negative 85 balance. How I have a negative balance at all is amazing I have thousands in my savings. I don’t even have over draft protection I declined the service when asked by the banker purposefully because I have savings and the whole point is to control my spending. Meaning a transaction should not go through if it’s not in my checking’s. The savings is meant purposefully for savings. It looks strange that my card declined 85 times and the last purchase of 2.00 went through? Exactly. Not true. That’s a crime. I have a savings but it only draws from savings with my permission. Not before. And I am rarely in need of my savings. I always transfer enough to last me. Either ways its CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. Much like Bank of America this happened after a nasty argument with one of the banking staff over the phone. I cancelled all my transactions and got my money back in a couple weeks with interest by accident I was angry I cancelled EVERYTHING. I’m not apologetic but im not looking for money but the moment you have hired staff acting criminally that’s close Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo refused to admit they had been involved in criminal activity. I was already suspicious of how fast my money was disappearing I have thousands in checking which Is why I opened a savings to have control of how much is in there at any given time. I’m still not sure if it’s just 2017 prices which is why money disappears fast or if it’s because people are Stealing money. But I knew how much I was spending when I opened a savings. Back to Bank of America. I transfer to Bank of America maybe middle of 2017 when I move to a new address. I have problems with my landlord which is why I don’t get the first two cards. I am in a suit with her as well for mail tampering and other things. I magically get the third card I didn’t even know was coming on the day I leave that PROPERTY. I have been at my new address since then. Wells Fargo had me leery to give Bank of America my new address due to their BOLD unapologetic criminal behavior. Obviously my transactions will show but I don’t feel comfortable giving criminals my address and phone number. Bank of America still doesn’t have my new address. It just forwards everything.

I created an online banking as soon as I opened my checking account. I forget soon after. I was locked out probably a week or two after opening. Me actually avoiding an argument with Bank of America till October is amazing I was cussing them out late at night atleast two or three times. I am an emotional eater and I couldn’t check my account with online banking or with my temporary card. I don’t care what you say that’s a crime. I was previously able to check my balance with my temporary card. But the temporary card proceeded to take me in circles. I would get through one set of prompts just to be asked the same questions over. I’ve used it a hundred times. The “error” was not on my end. Firstly the way the online banking Is set up is if you’re locked out they give you a set of things to recreate or change. YOU do all that. They have you ready to login with your recovered username and passwords. You log in they asking you what was the color of your mail box when you were one years old. I obviously am not remembering THE answer to THAT question. But I shouldn’t have to I opened the email that’s associated my account. That’s enough to verify ANYONE. I also have the PHNE you sent the text too. YOU DOING way too fucking much and I think its done purposefully. You locked me out my own fucking account when I need it most. It’s disgusting. And I cant get back in until I talk to customer Service. This actually is not the reason for the blow out when I call in October. I made an accidental duplicate purchase at a postal office. I could not get someone to cancel the postage. I didn’t get in contact with anyone till days later the prompts did not say press here to dispute a transaction. I had to press another option to talk to someone else in another department. They want me to verify it’s me. I SAY NO sir. Wasting more of my time. I tried using the number on the back of the card and couldn’t get through to a person I had to use other avenues. I lied to talk to a customer service agent and now you want me to verify my identity after I’ve been on the phone way more time then cancelling a transaction should take. Secondly it has been confirmed by me they do not ask you to verify yourself when you call the number on the back of the card which I was what I tried to do the first 10 times. I’m enraged. I won’t lie. Anyone talking to me should have been mad but that conversation was 3 nights of not being able to see my balance 5 days of not knowing how much I have for the bus and trying to cancel the duplicate transaction on my card. Ooh and not being able to log into my account even after recovering password. It’s like they want to FIGHT with people. Because then I am giving criminals my address and phone number and where I may be at any time of Day, it’s a suit. I have no idea who knows who. Who works where. Don’t mistake me. I don’t care. Bank of America needs excuse me NEEDED to hire professionals who know how to either hang up the phone or go for a walk when they mad. Also hire people who make ENOUGH money to not be interested in other people’s account. Excuse me have morals and act in a civilized legal way no matter the day or the customer. Then BanK Of America needs to put common sense policies and procedures in place. Ones that make customers independent and not mandate calling them every fucking two days for bullshit. I prefer not know you exist.

Not only did that make me being angry worse they antagonized me. Waste my time and call themselves one upping me which causes me to become angrier which I wasn’t sure was possible. When Im angry to that magnitude its catastrophic. AWARD. Ooh this suit is a trump. CLOSE ALL YOUR BANKS. And give majority of it away to a charity of your choice. Excuse me MY choice. My check was deposited Nov 3rd in the amount of 928.00 I already had a spending plan before I got my check. My cricket bill is actually not due till the 18th but I always pay it in advance so Im clear what I have to spend the rest of the month. I took out rent money. I paid for some orange juice and a banana at 7 eleven. The orange juice and banana was first. I then went to Mcdonalds. I then paid my cricket bill while at Mcdonalds. Checked my balance and the reason I know because I’m always terrified the money will be sitting in my cricket account and they will still charge my card again. So I make sure via online banking it has been taken out. It has my balance was 350.00 after my cricket bill is paid. My next purchase is 2.00 at Safeway my next purchase is 5 or 6 dollars at 7 Eleven. My final purchase on the third is Safeway for 4 or 5 dollars. I wakeup my account is 291.. That’s nearly 50.00 lesser than it should be. I do play fair not that criminals deserve it but I’m an honest person but unfortunately for Bank of America there were not enough transactions to equate 50.00 so I have to cancel everything due to criminal activity. The night of the third. Once I realized my account has been tampered with I get up on the forth and cancel all transactions. I take out whatever I can take out before it hits under the 20 limit for an ATM machine. I obviously am not waiting for them to replace money I need for the rest of the month. Especially when it’s due to the banks criminal behavior. Also the transactions are out of order. My day was planned and I still remember it clearly. It points to criminal activity by Bank Of America. There is no reason why transactions should be appearing out of order. Also They added another transaction from the PNC Bank on the the 4th. There was one withdrawal. There should have been one transaction fee. There was two indicating Bank of America charged me again. So they are denying my claim and taking out money I didn’t spend. I WILL Post the IC3 report for Wells Fargo just so the judge is aware I am not making things up. I know some people lie about these sort of things but not me. I don’t do lies to this magnitude especially when the law is involved Wells Fargo and Bank of America are acting criminally. It is also Thanksgiving in a weeks time and they have taken 50.00 of my food money. Bank of America is disgusting.

I did call Bank of America and tell them to cancel all the transactions for the third. I was told the money would be deposited in 2 to 3 business days. I did file an IC3 complaint upon returning to the house as I mentioned in the phone conversation with the bank teller. They are telling me it will take to the 20th to make a decision. I’m not sure I trust Bank of Americas decision on ANYTHING. They are after all the reason for my account being the way that it is. I am on a fixed income. I really don’t have to explain anything to you but 50.00 is a lot of money. And I’m sure Bank of America has some technology to show what I was looking at when I signed in my account at McDonalds after I paid my cricket bill. Who is going to investigated that. That’s 24 hours tops. It’s not my problem. It is now yours. If someone screws with my balance every three day I could over spend by hundred and be broke by the middle of the month. That’s a suit and a crime.

It declines I'm suprised I check my balance first thinking the machine is broke but it says negative 85.00 dollars. Firstly I don't have over draft protection and I have not made an 85.00 purchase so my card should have declined 85 transactions ago. I have a savings I remember precisely I said no to over draft protection because I have a checkings account. Also maybe 2-3 months ago Wells fargo was declining all my transactions even though I had 3000 in my account at the time. I called they were allow a transaction to go through then they would declining my transactions again. This was a hotel and at Walmart I had to call multiple times it lasted multiple days. Suspicious and criminal activity. I had no twitter open and made no remarks they had no reason to call themselves being upset not that it would excuse anything they have to follow the law now following remarks my account is negative 85 dollars.
