OKAY SO, my game finally updated-- it took more than an hour which is frankly, forever, with the internet speeds I've been accustomed to in the most recent years but that's beside the point. but new update, usually I don't pay much attention beyond checking if my bugs got fixed and reading through the patch notes-- I read that they are planning to update Hutta to match the new areas but-- I didn't expect THIS

this is just base game locations. LOOK AT THEM. it's not chock-full of yellow clouds anymore, polluted true but GODDAMN. also look at that comparison shot from the starting BH cutscene--

do i need to say more? if this is what Broadsword is going to do with locations we know and love? i am so on board.

Heyyyy y’all I come bearing a gift for you all ✨✨ (it’s Sheriff’s design in the Cyberpunk Au)

I debated posting this, not sure if I should wait to do the others but decided to just do them individually so I can talk about the design, the character in the Au and other things I feel the need to mention.

So without further ado, here’s Sheriffs design:

So, with Sheriffs design I wanted something interesting yet something that’d be mostly practical for his line of work. So he’s got a cool jacket for that with some orange accents to represent the district he lives in (I’ll talk about districts at a later date.) the orange accents are also on his shoes and the thingys on his pants.

The back of his jacket has the star to represent the sheriffs star he has in canon because I didn’t want to give him an actual one in this, if you’ve seen the one or two drawings I did of Hero, i did the same thing there just with the sleeves.

Moving on.

On his right arm, you’ll see what is essentially an electronic glove with a screen in his arm. It’s something Shooter created early into his and Sheriffs partnership, it does many things including having a built in map and communication app of Shooters design. Aside from using earpieces, this is their main form of contact, especially during stealth missions where it’s dangerous to speak.

And moving onto the left arm, we’ve got Sheriffs cybernetic arm, this is obviously to replace his mutated one in canon. It’s got dark greys on it in order to blend into the night but does have a light mode variant he can switch to at anytime. Yes, the shell of the arm can switch between light and dark and even a bunch of other colours. It’s a newer model in the world and is highly customisable. The arm also shifts into a gun as seen below the arm on the main drawing. There’s two variations, the first being where the hand becomes the gun and the second where it pops out of a compartment on the arm. I’m leaning more towards the first option but you guys can leave your thoughts.

There’s also his visor which is not on the main drawing but beside it, another one of Shooters creations, the visors job is to scramble facial recognition technology in order to keep Sheriffs identity secure. It can also make it seem like his eyes are a different colour to what they are. The visor also comes equipped with a mini map for when checking his sleeve isn’t an option.

Those are really the main parts of his design I wanted to mention. So let’s talk about other things about him.

In the MBCPAU, Sheriff is a bounty hunter and occasional assassin. He takes up odd jobs even given to him by clients or by other sources who give him information on criminals who have a bounty over their head. He’s obviously in this for the money, needing to pay off the loan he used to purchase his cybernetic arm (and have the surgery to get it attached. Yes it’s surgically attached to his body.) and to keep himself and Ryan under a safe roof. Ryan is wheelchair bound and doesn’t have an electronic one, not being able to afford it. Sheriff is also saving for one because he doesn’t want Ryan to strain himself trying to get around the house (which has been made as wheelchair accessible as possible.)

Sheriff met Shooter in high school and the two have been close ever since, Shooter has been assisting Sheriff on his missions since Sheriff barged into Shooters apartment one night, bleeding and delirious. Sheriff is thankful he’s on his team, Shooter saving his ass more times then he can count. Shooter doesn’t usually join him on missions, instead hanging back in his apartment and offering guidance from there.

Also this isn’t about Sheriff but Shooters parents are absolutely loaded (they’re head engineers for the company who produces cybernetic parts) so he lives in district 3.

it's early in the morning, the sun shining in his window as he creeps into the bedroom. he hadn't been able to sleep once the clock struck four in the morning, but he didn't want to wake the other in his bed, not just yet. they were kind of cute when they're sleeping, and he would feel way too bad to make them stir when they're resting so well. it's when he's coming back to the bedroom again he trips over his own feet, falling into the door loud enough it slams open, hitting the wall. "fuck!" he sees them starting to stir. "shit, sorry, i---" he gives them a sheepish grin and holds up a bag. "i brought you breakfast?"

Byakuya loving Hatsune Miku was definitely not on my bingo card on the headcanons I'd see for him but golly do I freaking love it. Dunno how long it's been going on or the originator of the headcanon (is there one??) but I hope it never leaves. Hell, I want this thing to go even further actually! Like, gimme the lore. Gimme the 1,000 page essays and the cork boards with the red thread! Theories on how he converted into a Miku fan or if it just happened one day cus he was bored of Beethoven. The works! This is too beautiful of a headcanon to die.

He's so sillyyy!! (the name is Christmas themed—Halloween is my favorite holiday since it's so close to my birthday—oct. 27th. No I will not explain why he's got the name).

Lore for the silly guy under the cut:

He's got the horns of a Ram & the ears of a goat—I just think they're both neat animals—and the lore was made in like 5 minutes so pardon the messiness of it. But essentially she's just like that™ and I wanted to draw the ears of a goat, but I also like ram horns,,,,

Anyways their story :)))

He's a single child who grew up on a farm but when she got older they wanted to start learning to become a geologist—or some sort of Botanist. But his parents needed someone to tend to the farms as they were getting older. So they had to push those dreams to the side to help take care of their parents & their farm. But their parents were very sad that he can't live out his dreams—so they make sure to buy him all sorts of biology, geology, botany, and on occasion—mathematics books.

She loves all the books she recives!

Another thing I wanted to mention—she's very calm/tired/laid back from farming all day—but they used to be very different when he was younger. They were like the ram with the largest horns type of deal (not the strongest)—and would headbutt anyone who bothered them—still being at the age to not understand that headbutting people isn't nice.

At some point someone she knew as a friend was just a bit too forceful when they took a toy—or had just been a bit too rough with them—and they headbutted their friend—another ram.

Blitzen's ram horns weren't strong—he was still pretty young at the time compared to their friend, who was a couple of years older than him. And Blitzen would headbutt other people—but they were weak attempts—this time Blitzen was aiming to really make them shove it.

Blitzen's horns broke off—the both of them, and it was an ugly mess—Blitzen didn't stop attempting to headbutt their friend until an adult stopped her. Only then did Blitzen realize what they were doing & how they shouldn't have done that.

They stopped headbutting people and changed—they wanted to be nicer—because people would often call them rude. So now they wanted to stop all of that—being mean and hurting people, because at some point it would hurt them—and they didn't like being hurt—especially since blood stained their hair and the headbutting broke their horns—meaning they had to wear bandages for a couple of days to stop the bleeding—which was pretty uncomfortable to Blitzen.

Along with the change in weight—having horns, then suddenly not would be an experience for anyone.

So they began to work on their parent's farm—or do any sort of activities to keep themselves distracted since they always get so pent up with energy.
