And last but not least (for now anyway, and only for the ref sheets, I have more art coming still), in honor of the recent solar eclipse, we have the sun-stealing bastard man himself (or at least sun-disappearance-predictor), Sol! :D I actually started drawing this the day of the eclipse, on the bus on the way to Niagara Falls to see the eclipse (was a bit disappointing, as clouds managed to cover the sun the whole of totality so I didn't get to see it, but I did get to see the sun just before and after totality, and it was still really cool seeing the sky go so dark so quickly, and getting to see Niagara Falls and visit Canada both for the first time. :D

For his physical description, Sol is described as a tall (mentioned to be taller than Firestar specifically), lean tom with a broad head that narrows at the chin and tapers at the muzzle, large wide-spaced tufted ears, a distinctive long thick soft pelt (Hollyleaf mentions his fur to be longer than hers... probably should've made it longer here, oops), a thick-furred tail with a bushy tip, a long smooth back, and fur around his neck that stands up like a sun-shaped mane. I had a lot of fun drawing this guy's skinny butt again, and trynig to include all of the parts of his very long description. His anatomy finally looks good, unlike all his old ref sheets. I'm finally happy with him. :D Especially that sunny mane. Spiky and sun-like and making him look like a lion (along with that bushy tail-tip) without looking unrealistic.

For his pattern, Sol is described as a mottled dark brown, black, and white tom with splashes of bright ginger and pale yellow eyes. I was initially going to ignore the dark brown part of his description as per usual, just considering his stripes over his dark ginger fur the dark brown like I did before, buuuuuuuut then I reread the section in Eclipse where Hollypaw describes him, and he seems to be mostly dark brown and white with just splashes of bright "tortoiseshell" (which I take to mean bright ginger markings making it a tortie pelt), so I decided to play with a dark brown pointed tortie design for him aaaaaaaaand I kinda fell in lvoe with it oops. XD So now you get dark brown point with bright sunny ginger patches tortie Sol instead of traditional red, black, and white tortie Sol.

Overall, I'm really really happy with how this turned out.

I'm not sure if people wanna read more double life Scar and Grian discussion,but I had thoughts and this is the only place I can get them out.

I started watching Scar's POV of Double Life and I've already seen Grian's.The one thing I noticed was that Grian's cheating just kinda comes out of nowhere???Like,he decides to pursue BigB in the SECOND episode,and the only thing that Scar has done thus far is stand in snow and let Grian take some damage,but that's literally only because he was annoyed at his pandas not being allowed in the base.(I also know that both sides weren't perfect and could be better,but still.)

Scar's literally fine after that episode and acts like everything's normal and for every mistake or seemingly bad thing he does,he's always got a reason for it related to Grian.

Goes to the Deep Dark?Saw Grian messing with a Warden and a fishing hook and thought it was completely warranted.

Didn't tell Grian people were looking for the sugarcane at his base?Thought Grian had all the sugarcane on him.

Grian literally decides to pursue BigB and his reason basically is because it's BigB,and probably Scar's reputation of dying early,but Scar hasn't done much wrong in regards to Grian very much.

Anyways,sorry for the rant!You can ignore this if you don't want more discussions on Grian and Scar's behaviour on DL,I just needed to talk to someone about it,and what I've learned is that I'm a Scar apologist and he deserved better.

I agree! Scar just does something cuz he either "saw Grian/assumed Grian" or cuz he just wanted too. I also feel like a lot of the things before turning Red, he did put of spite as well lmao which I love him for it

Like, the whole gang is around the table, and the tagline is looking for new adventures! The globe robin is pointing to is outside the grandline and everything, ahahah and usopp has clearly had his fun trip to elbaf :] ANYWAYS, i went back to take a look at this,, and lo and behold! Luffys strawhat is no where in sight! Haha he does have a silly pirate captain get up though :D and his jolly roger is still on his hat!! I imagine he’s playing dressup rather than keeping this as a permenant outfit, and it doesnt confirm if the strawhat is gone or anything, but i thought it was interesting to note.

Anyways. No joke. This made me so choked up man… u keep doin this to me…. It always struck me that sabo’s dream as a child was to write an amazing book and travel the world- not anything like bringing freedom to the oppressed. Luffy and Ace went down direct paths to fulfill their respective dreams, but Sabos having more of an indirect approach to it, and even then, he has so many duties as chief that he probably doesnt have any time to write!

I don’t think I’ve seen him look so free before. He’s dedicated his life to bringing freedom to others, and now he’s free to pursue his own childhood dreams to the fullest. KILL ME 💥💥💥💥💥💥

I found your analysis of his childhood verse adult outfits REALLY interesting, and it fits soooo well. I love the lighter, calm colours that you ultimately went with. Whahaha i love his snacky pockets too, big fan of many pockets in designs, esp when they have great uses! He looks so cute and I think you were completely right about the cravat thing, cause he has such an aura of FREEDOMMM and exploration and i think his cravat wouldve definitely restricted his style LOL. Design talk:

Im gonna start with just sharing his canon designs

Colors:

Something i want to call attention to is the blue and black in his design.

When he was young, Sabo wore his heart on his sleeve. He had a dream for himself and was taking steps to complete it. Likewise, that blue on his coat is on full display its bright and vibrant and saturated. But also theres that dark blue, almost black, thats underneath it thats being hidden by that coat, the pants, and his tattered cravat. Likewise again, Sabo is hiding his darker side. He has secrets he doesn’t want his brothers to know of and he lets his aspirations and relationships he has with them outshine his past.

In his present design, that blue that was representative of his dreams, is now the one being hidden. Its covered by a complete black coat, a representative of the darkness in his life that now is drives him. This color switch up is symbolic for how he’s put off his dreams and kept it locked up (belt), while choosing instead to pursue a life of darkness for the greater good.

Also, these pictures of young sabo and young adult sabo, you can visually see how less saturated it is. The blue is duller of the coat/undershirt and even more-so with the pants. You can see how he’s much less vibrant than how he was.

In my Post-Story idea, what happens leading up to it is that Sabo succeeds in taking down the world government and after he’s sure the world can move on without him, he goes sailing alone as a pirate to write a book about the world, like he’s always wanted to do. Also, Luffy returns his straw hat to shanks.

So in my design, sabo wears a vibrant blue coat again. He’s living his dream and has nothing holding him back from doing it. The black is still used, and its not being covered, but its on his pants and his gloves. He still has that darkness, but he doesn’t use it as protection or as something to hide, rather as something he moves forwards and progresses with. He will never forget what pain and hardship he went through and he’s not trying to. However, whats underneath all the layers is not darkness or dreams, and its not necessarily being hidden either, its light. Not BRIGHT, but light. Mellow and calm. The settled true nature of a healed man.

I took more colors from his child design than i did with his young adult (YA) one, too. I wanted to show how he’s reconnecting with his younger self by bringing them through to his Post-Story look!

Also, since his journal is his dream, it is blue, as well.

Items of Clothing:

In both of his canon designs, there is a sense of properness. A top hat, cravat, tailcoat, etc etc.. Its all properness. But more than that, its the idea of responsibility.

Whether he acts responsible or not isn’t what matters in his case, instead its that he wants to look responsible. He wants this because a) he was a little kid who wanted to grow up too fast and be taken seriously, and b) because he has an incredible amount of responsibility being the second in command of the revolutionary army.

To further prove that, I would like to point out his silly little cravat. I love his cravat. But how the hell is that practical for his line of work? Sabo is concerned with being practical, hence his baggy/movable pants and leather gloves. Additionally, just the waist/trench coat, belt, top hat combo would suffice for a proper looking person, but it’s taken excessively with the cravat. The cravat is purely for appearances.

Further symbolism with his cravat, i think, is that this appearance is visually choking him. Its wrapped tightly around his neck when he was a child and when he was most under control of a much higher power. However, when he’s a YA, it’s a lot looser. He’s got some agency, but he’s still being suffocated by responsibilities.

On with my design.

I took away his cravat. Im sorry but it is SYMBOLIC!!!!!!! He is not worried anymore with appearances, he is Free.

I took away his top hat but not his goggles, too. I think that after Luffy gives back the straw hat, Sabo forgoes his hat as well. In solidarity, maybe. If you think about it, the top hat isnt what makes his hat so special, its the goggles. So i got rid of the hat and kept The Goggs. Although it is sad that they are no longer Hatted, as that is one of the beautiful appeals of ASL, they are no longer ASL.

I wanted to keep aspects of his YA design, since even though it is very perforative, its still a style that he’s stuck with since childhood, so he’s gotta like it in some capacity. I just tried to make everything look a lot looser/open on him.

Lastly, i gave him a bit of a beard cuz i think he deserves it.

Visually, sabo’s design is not too complex, at least not when you look at him next to Ace, but theres a lot of depth to it. I didnt even think of half of these notes before i started typing this up, its just the more time i look at it, the more i noticed!

im surprised that theres not a lot of designs for botw link that ive seen that like. combine outfits together. the kid has so many clothes you’d think he’d start mashing some together to get some good combos

i tried this awhile back with link’s outfit, but i was having a really hard time figuring out the snowquill tunic with the champions tunic. it was just so gosh darn vibrant XD 

so yesterday i decided to design zelda’s outfit because i dont like her’s in the game. it makes no sense to me ._. ive drawn it once in the past and i never want to draw it again lmao i combined hers with the hylian tunic. i did keep her pants tho her boots are pretty fire. im really happy with her! I think she looks like a little bird!

i tried out designing link again, i gave him some more elements of the climbing set with the gloves and the shoes. His pants are also from the soldier’s greaves because i tend to wear those a lot. I think it looks a lot better! I like it now :D

GIF REQUEST MEME: Favorite season from The 100 - Season four

I love season four for a lot of reasons!! I think it’s the best season of the show and it should have been their last (despite my love for most of s5 ^^) I’m gonna ramble a lot but I don’t want it to take over the gifset so I’ll put it under a cut

Season four is the time of hard, impossible choices for everybody. The bomb at Farm Station, the List, the Nightblood tests, opening the bunker, the anti-radiation medicine…. Everybody is put through the ringer during this season and honestly, this is what I’m here for.

First great point for me personally: They can’t stop the radiations. When season 3 ended with the reveal of the radiations coming, I was legit disappointed with the show, I didn’t want them to spend the season “turning off” radiations miraculously, you know. So when ep 2 of the season aired and the first thing Raven said was “there’s no magic button to stop this” I WAS SO HAPPY!! It immediately got me much more hyped for the rest of the season because I was invested in “riding out 5 years of hell” much more than “let’s find a magic button”. So the season hooked me then ^^

The season is really good at re-using previous themes and twist them in just the right way

Clarke, who was so angry at the council for killing her dad, finds herself in the council’s position, and starts to understand that making such hard decisions is never easy. Making the list for instance, is so different from what she had to do before. The genocide of Mt Weather was an act of despair in the middle of a war, but making the list is a process, she has to truly chose who is “worth” more, which is what the council did when they sent the 100 to the Ground. She choses to hide the truth from everybody despite it going against what she wanted at the start of the show. It’s a really cool change for her character.

The Arkers and Grounders take the decision to test the Nightblood against Luna, the Rock Line thief, and Emori’s will. An obvious reminder of s2 but that I appreciate. I liked the Mt Weather story because of this: the mountain men were the antagonists but they also were the same as the rest of the show, they were doing whatever they had to do to survive, whatever it took, no matter how cruel it could be. We see in this season that when faced with the same decision, our protagonists reach the same result: sacrificing other people’s bodily autonomy to survive is worth it to them. It’s a really interesting theme to bring back because it muddies the waters of who’s right and wrong, and it highlights that in the end, there is no black and white answer.

This season gives us my personal favorite version of Clarke: she’s the closest she’ll get to a true antagonist (only comparable to s5 but s5 is a little bit of a mess so I still prefer her in s4). She has one conviction: saving her people. And to get it, she is ready to lie, to cheat, to kill, whatever it takes. It is interesting because I always saw Clarke in that light. She always believes that she has the right idea and she will do what it takes to get what she thinks is best. That’s where she is interesting to me (I’m not interested in her being an innocent victim forced to take decisions, that’s not how I see her at all and I find her a little dull in that interpretation haha but that’s for another post). Clarke stealing the bunker is a cruel act, but man, it’s incredibly smart. At that moment she knows she’s condeming many people (some of whom very close to her) to death, but she believes deep inside her that it’s the right thing to do so she’s willing to do it. And i really prefer her in those ruthless moments.

Octavia’s arc this season isn’t my favorite, but she is at her best during the last few episodes for me. The creation of Wonkru is one of my favorite scenes of the entire show, even though I saw it coming a mile away lmao (1200 spaces, 12 clans, it was easy to see where they were going!). I love the scene, I love the place it comes from (Octavia channeling Lincoln’s convictions was brilliant). I might not agree with her decisions (skaikru definitely deserved more spots than the other clans), but it makes perfect sense for her character to make this decision. The scene of her talking to Skaikru and telling them they’re no different from the others, and they have to choose or they all die, is also one of my favorites. Octavia received no mercy on the Ark, she had a terribly tragic childhood because of those people who are now begging her for their lives, and she doesn’t budge. The Ark, and the Ground, forced her to be that way, and she doesn’t back away. It’s also all a brilliant introduction to what Wonkru and Octavia will become in s5 (but again, that’s for another post lmao)

I love that we get the introduction of Spacekru because I love their little found family and the scene where they reach the Ring is so good!

Murphy’s speech to Clarke makes me tear up everytime I see it (it really was one of the strongest moments of acting of the entire show, Richard Harmon is amazing in it). Emori also blows me away in the previous episode, the way she’s shown to be ruthless, and cunning, and also how well she reads people. She knew they would come to test someone, and she did everything she had to for that someone to not be her. I love her ^^

I like the plot of the second dawn bunker well enough! (although I will never change my mind that Cadogan was a dumbass for putting it where it is instead of IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FOREST WHERE THERE’S NO RISK OF BUILDINGS FALLING ON IT LIKE WHAT LITERALLY HAPPENED IN S5 OKAY anyway…..), it’s far from perfect but I like that it explains the people coming to greet Becca in s3, and I like that we expand a little on the origins of the Grounders culture (even though I wanted more about this). It’s kind of an “easy” solution, but at the same time it’s not. It was established early in the season before being abandoned, and even once it’s found, it’s not at all a perfect and easy solution. They have to fight for it, decide who lives there, it’s a pretty interesting development. What I mean is that it’s not discovered one episode before the end and it doesn’t solve everything. If anything, it creates more conflict. Which I appreciate alot.

ALSO ALSO Echo is a badass general in this season and I love it. She goes from being a spy in earlier seasons, to full-on commanding armies and being a strategic mastermind and I love it! She’s also ruthless and cunning and I lvoe that for her. It’s also such a good season for her and Bellamy!!! I lvoe all of it ^^

This season also has one of my favorite underrated quotes!!!! I’m gonna use a gif here cause I’m not at the limit yet lmao

“It’s unity day.” GODDDD it’s so good. It’s simple, but it conveys so much information and I love it:

Unity Day: the stations coming together to survive -> we’re virtually in the same situation here.

It’s a happy occasion, a day of survival and hope, just like the hope Octavia gave all the clans with her decisions

But it’s also a day of death and loss. She’s giving Kane a choice: join Wonkru with 100 members, or die in the flames.

It reminds us of the history of the Arkers, and I love when world-building does this thing where both characters are shown to have such a close cultural background that three little words are enough to convey such a strong message. It’s a detail but I love it and I wanted to ramble for a little bit ^^

Clarke’s sacrifice: This is when it gets to “meh” points for the seasons for me. Clarke deciding to stay behind to save Spacekru was a good moment. Yes, I know that if she hadn’t climbed the tower they all would have died anyway, but still. It’s a great moment for her character. She has hurt those people time and time again during this season, she was ready to let them die more than once, and I think she regrets it (although again, I like to see the extremes she’s willing to reach in this season). In that moment, she doesn’t decide that it’s too late to survive so she might as well give up. She knows she’s going to die, and she gives her last moments to save the lives of the people she hurt in the past. And I really love this. That is….. Until Clarke is revealed to not have died. I truly believe that she had reached the ending of her arc in the show, and it would have been a great ending to her character. But that’s also because I believe the show should have ended in s4 lmao. If it had ended, then maybe they could have left her death ambiguois, by showing her reaching the safety of the lab, but not showing her again afterwards. That way, we had no way of being sure she survived, but it was left ambiguous enough to make us decide her fate outselves.

The perfect ending: I didn’t choose the last gif randomly. That scene of Raven and Bellamy looking down on the Earth was in my opinion the perfect shot to end the show. At that point in time, we are left in a place that is very similar to where the show started: the Earth is destroyed by radiations, some people are waiting it out in space, some people are waiting it out on the ground. it mirrors the premise of the show (although in a much smaller scale), but this time, we’re left with hope of what might come in the future. Those two groups know (or hope) that they will reunite, especially with Octavia and Bellamy, the relationship at the core of the show, being separated. If the show ends here, we have come full circle from the pilot episode, and we can imagine how those two groups will reunite in the future. I find that ending the best possible for the show, so even though there’s so much I like about season 5, I wish the show had stopped at that moment, at that shot of Raven and Bellamy looking down on the Earth.

14. Do you believe in luck and miracles?

Not particularly? I tend to think you get what you work for; you didn't get into that college you applied for because you're lucky, it's because you worked your ass off kind of thing. I don't like downplaying the effort someone puts into something by calling it luck or a miracle.

However I still talk like I do lol. Same way I say oh thank God even though I'm definitely not religious xD And I'm known to give in to the occasional thinking. So it's like... no, but also yes.

19. Do you like bubble baths?

Nope! Not even a little bit. I like them in theory, but every time I try to take one, I'm reminded why I hate them. Getting out is always such a nightmare, because the bubbles stick to you, and the last thing you want after a relaxing bath is to get into a shower to rise off old soap, and it's just. Frustrating. To the point that I've literally written it into at least one fic how much Stiles hates bubble baths because of how inconvenient they are xD (I think it was Chapter 2 of The Seminar, but I could be wrong lol)

32. Which celebrities would you have a threesome with?

Don't expose me like this T_T ATM I would sell my soul to get railed by the actors that play Nina and Matthias in Blood and Bone, because good God. But also I don't really fantasize about actors like that in general. But also would love to get railed by Dylan and aylor Kitsch too, bc that is a dream team xD or Kate Beckinsale and Lucy Lawless. Also right now I'm a little in love with Jennifer Lvoe Hewitt again, bc have you seen her in 9-1-1? She's beautiful.

38. Describe your dream girl/guy?

I think my last answer just exposed how much of a Type I have, but: I like soft brown eyes, long (dark), or at least long enough to play with) pull on. A nice smile. T h i g h s. I get weak over thick thighs. Also nice hands. I'm pretty mid-range height-wise (5'8") so I like people that are either Really Tol or Really Smol. And, most importantly, someone who can give great hugs and cuddling, because that's my #1 love language ;_;

60. Ever won a competition? For what?

Yup! I'm super competitive. Got my team to first place in a soccer comp. because I was the leagues undefeated goalie (and scored one of the winning goals with a drop kick from my own goalbox, and thus the nickname Doomcookie was born.) Won a national dance competition (50s Swing, which I helped choreograph). Won a few martial arts competitions as a kid. All kinds of stuff xD

101. Do you type fast?

I do! but I also type really bad lmao. I don't have proper typing form. I don't hunt and peck anymore, but I do roam all over the keyboard like I do, and it always makes Real Typers horrified to see the way I type. I can mostly type without looking, though? Mostly due to writing a lot in the dark, with a keyboard that doesn't glow.

128. Would you change your name?

Yeah, I've definitely thought about it. It's part of the reason I have a penname, Jae. it was supposed to be my middle name, but dad wrote Jo on the birth certificate instead, but I prefer Jae. I've gone by a few variations of my name over the year, DJ stuck for a while (was also exploring some gender stuff at the time). I'll probably stick with what I've got if only because it's a bitch to change, and I've got a ton of licensing at this point. But also, most people call me Cookie anyway xD

140. Summer or Winter?

I'm bisexual which means you're not allowed to make me make decisions, I'm legally exempt. I love both tbh; I was born in the summer and I really come out once the weather starts warming up. I always feel really good and active. But at the same time, I love to curl up with a blanket and some coco and enjoy the cold. There isn't a time of year I don't love, tbh! I'm too go with the flow to pick just one. (Believe me, I've tried!) But so long as I get 4 seasons, I'm happy.

My favorite muse(s) of theirs and why:

AHA! I’m a little proud that I know a bunch of her muses well enough to separate them and perhaps pick a fave out of them, but… I think me knowing sort of well about a bunch of her muses also makes me unable to pick a fave because I like them all! I’ll just answer the ‘why’ part for all XD Well, I really love Castilian because of the vibe he gives me. He has something, uh, floreal and fantastical to himself? I can’t really explain it but, even though Sehun/Seth is the plants expert, I always imagine Cas in soft lights with lilies or, let’s just say Cas gives me a very beautiful and harmonical vibe that I enjoy a lot.Jenny is a very cool character and I’ve always enjoyed active leader characters like she is. I enjoy the way she seems to be a fairly positive personality but who still gives off that sort of authoritative feeling where, rather than seeing her as someone you have to obey, you see her as someone who you’d like to work for or under because she seems trustworthy in her ability to lead. You feel comfortable under her leadership, that’s the vibe Captain Jenny of the Casimire gives me.Theo is, if I had to pick a fave, very high on the list because I like her personality and lot. I like it because characters who have personalities like hers always promise a lot of development and growth, so knowing her and liking her specifically made me very curious as to where her growth might lead. I like how her tough personality seems very realistic even if it may sound familiar to your ears, because Munnie is very talented at portraying a common anti-hero personality in an incredibly unique Theo-way. Theo has… she’s got that thing, where you want to look after her from above and hope she gets by okay.Minjae is an absolute sweetheart, but what I love most about him is that he’s not only that. Even though you can’t really tell at first what other traits he may be hiding beneath his positive and enthusiastic exterior, Munnie somehow manages to portray a feeling of wholeness, like… She is capable of giving you the feeling that if you look hard enough and wait long enough and pursue hints, you’ll be able to find a way into the depth Minjae has under his love for space and just positive attitude. I can’t properly mention Sehun or En’nala or newer muses because I don’t feel all too confident in my knowledge about them yet :3 But I definitely like Sehun and Nala as well, Nala for her naive sweetness and her IMMENSE potential to become whoever she wants to be, and Sehun for his calm and mature attitude on life, and the wisdom he seems to have.

My favorite interaction/thread of theirs:

I’m always assuming this means my favourite interactions with me, so I’ll answer accordingly.I don’t want to pick because I love Minjae interacting with Yoshin because of the pure enthusiasm and I love Minjae interacting with Hyeongjong because they’re such good friends and it’s always so nice watching them complement each other with rather opposing personalities. And I am so looking forward to interacting properly with Kailee again (even though I’m worried Hoon’s development might idk come off weird).But I want to mention Theo and Patrick because of their personalities.Patrick has a… very contradicting personality. His thoughts never go into the same directions, his morals are a bit difficult to accept from specific stand-points because he favours some generosity and doesn’t always like honor, but there are instances in which he doesn’t and does. Patrick is a very versatile being when it comes to his personality and mindset. And he’s difficult to get along with purely, because he’s smart and old enough to guess which answers would allow the conversation to move on, and those answers don’t always coincide with his actual thoughts or beliefs. Basically, he knows how to keep interactions going, but not by actively showcasing his personality.And Theo is a very strong character who I’ve always seen as the kind of person who throws her personality out there unapologetically. This is just my interpretation so do shoot me if I’m wrong please. She’s not always a hundred percent confident, but I feel like she’s afraid of not being confident, so she is even if she’s not too sure about it. So, basically it’s a man with no shape who is capable of pleasing anyone, and a woman with a very definite shape who needs to focus on herself above anyone else for her own survival and can’t waste time on being the version of herself you want her to be (THIS IS JUST HOW I UNDERSTOOD IT I’M SORRY IF I’M WRONG). So.. it’s super fucking interesting to see those two interact.

My thoughts on their unique characterization/interpretation of their muse(s):

I FUCKING LVOE THEM, I’m so sorry for the swear. If you look at Jenny and then look at Theo and then look at Minjae, would you be able to believe they’re written by the same person? Because they’re so diverse and unique and so easy to tell apart, they have each their incredibly defined backgrounds and personalities and they exist with and around one another in incredibly interesting ways, so watching the result of all that in each character’s way of speech and inner monologue and way of think is absolutely gorgeous.

My thoughts on their writing style as a whole:

Well ahem it is bloody freaking amazing.

Situation(s)/Plot(s) I’d love to see their muse(s) in:

All the situations Munnie has in mind, all of them. She’s got a plot idea? I love it already. But what I’d really like to see, are moments in which her characters find themselves just being happy with the life they’re living. That is such a hard moment to achieve, but if I could see Theo sit with her soon-to-be husband and think ‘this is happiness’ I’d die.

Someone else I love seeing them interact with:

@dcmnation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean to be honest I haven’t seen much of their interactions, but they are both incredibly talented people with incredibly interesting muses, watching those two rp is like watching Tolkien rp with Rowling.

Munnie is super understanding, she is super kind, she is so incredibly supportive. She’s behind you when you need it, she’s got your back when you express the slightest hint of insecurity, she returns all sorts of kindness and is awesome. And if anyone takes advantage of her for her good qualities, I’ll fuck them up. Don’t fuck with people I care about. I am a kind person on here, but I know how to be mean, you don’t want to hear that. Know that saying, the kindest people are the scariest when they’re angry? Yep.

I don’t feel confident answering this one because I don’t want to give the impression I’m assuming things about her.

Helloooo! I'd say my fave scene was actually the one where Teo was musing about being an internet sensation and what it might mean to lose it and such. Resonated with me, in part because I'm so far on the other end of the spectrum. ^.^

Each character has their own personal issues, from Lee’s torn apart love life to Teo’s newness to fame. Which character’s struggle resonates with you the most and why? How do you think their struggles tie into other themes of the comic? Additionally, what other themes not mentioned have you noticed in the comic, and why do you think they’re important to the larger story?

Heh, well, as I said, the Teo fame thing actually resonates, largely because of how different it is from where I'm at. He's made it "big" (relatively) and is doing signings and things, while wondering about how it affects his life. Speaking as someone who's still trying to claw together more than a dozen readers after 6 years, I wonder if I'd be equally vexed on the flip side.

(Hm, vexed is the wrong word. Angsty?)

Teo's got the whole imposter thing going on too, wondering if it's only because of his brother's popularity that he's made a name for himself.

That could be. Now, while Teo's struggle resonates the most, the one I'm most curious about is between Lee and Dana. Because they were both played by Ant, but then Lee just stepped right the hell over the line about having her watch as Rosier killed him. (I guess because she thought Dana was in on it??) I feel like that's got to play into things.

It also kind of kills my yuri ship of Lee and Dana consoling each other over the jerk because Dana likely has PTSD.

It might be jealousy. Sucks for dana. But considering lee would go far enough to have ant killed, its not a large step further to have the girl who replaced her watch it happen.

QUESTION 3. Though Ant and Lee almost patch things up, Ant proves to be a cheater still. In her despair, Lee instructs the demon Rosier to kill Ant. However, there is clearly a soul at stake in this bargain. What do you think will happen to Lee now that Ant is dead? Will Rosier call for the soul now? Does the soul have to be Lee’s or is Rosier after Ant’s soul? Will Lee regret her actions or just rejoice Ant is dead? Will she become aware of how her actions have affected others or will she live in blissful ignorance of what she has wrought?

yeah the comic was vague so anybody's soul is up for grabs. tho maybe its dana's soul thats gonna get taken cause shes there. it could be ant's soul tho. ant's soul makes sense since hes dead therefore his soul is not exactly using his body. but its a blood pact so lee's soul makes more sense

Maybe. I guess it depends on how well she can put it behind her (which could be impossible depending on Rosier's actions next). Like, maybe she'd regret having caused someone's death, but I still hesitate on whether there was anyone else more worthy.

I wonder if anyone else will be miffed. Like, how can the police deal with something like this, when you've got an eyewitness talking about demons? Would she be written off as a loon, or are there X-Files agents out there who might start asking questions, annoying other witches?

The description of the story mentions it is about the “far-reaching consequences of one impulsive decision.” Considering the comic has switched to focusing on Teo now, what do you think will happen to Teo? Will his brief encounter with Lee make him a target for Rosier? Will his career or something else be affected because of how he interacted with Ant (who is now very dead)? Is there some foreshadowing in the palm reading that Teo received that can hint at what these consequences might be? Alternatively, is Teo a red herring and going to get off scot free?

Hmm... going back to something you said earlier, maybe Teo is being presented as a counterpoint to Ant. Like, maybe he was kind of a jerk when he was a few years younger, and now he's older and reformed and is doing good. (Both Teo and Ant have a daughter, I think?) So Lee sees what Ant could have become, if he lived.

All guesswork, of course.

im a heccin mess. i literally just can’t stop when i get into it. Like I HAVE ALL THESE IDEAS AND THESE THINGS AND I NEED TO WRITE IT ALL. Like I’m p sure it can get annoting, so i apologize often for that, but it’s been awhile since i really had fun ; w; I mean granted I have a lot of reworking to do for Irina, given OOF THEM HETALIA CRINGE DAYS.
