It's always so weird to come down from the biology heavens to see what the average person believes about animals, plants, ecosystems, just the world around them. I don't even mean things that one simply doesn't know because they've never been told or things that are confusing, I'm talking about people who genuinely do not see insects as animals. What are you saying. Every time I see a crawling or fluttering little guy I know that little guy has motivations and drive to fulfill those motivations. There are gears turning in their head! They are perceiving this world and they are drawing conclusions, they are conscious. And yet it's still a whole thing if various bugs of the world feel pain or if they are simply Instinct Machines that are Not Truly Aware of Anything At All????? Help!!!!!! How can you look at a little guy and think he is just the macroscopic animal version of a virus

have Odysseus become an actual monster. It’s another way Greek Monsters are made. Humans lose their humanity and slowly become actual monsters.

Their teeth might sharp more and more, everyday.

Maybe how the speak has this enchanting (encompassingly off) tone to it, one day.

Their eyes are eerily blank, and their sclera & iris are getting closer in color every day…

They start walking on what seem like their tip toes, but they don’t seem to notice;

The way they walk gets more predatory; Leaning forward, shoulders first and with a slight glare that isn’t in their eyes but definitely in their body.

Imagine; that’s how (for a random example) Sirens (the birds) spawned off from a woman being hurt one to many times, trapped somewhere, neglected or unwanted, so she flew away free with an enchanting voice. For there, other sirens where born ‘naturally’, from others like her (rare), in nature as a monster (most common) or spawned of from them.

For the sake of, I guess it doesn’t always happen, or more likely those who lose themselves like this usually don’t live long enough for a full transformation.

I guess not transforming halfway and finding one’s humanity again could be plausible, but would entirely be verrrrrry hard work. I think one work around* would be centering your moral and humanity on others: This would be (if he does get out of it) how Ody gets out of a full permanent transformation, Penelope (& Diomedes, in my hc) are his moral compass & heart. *this would require a lot of devotion, I suppose. So perfect for PenOdy & Diody, really

Ody gets snake fangs, sharper nails/claws & wolfish ears at minimum, ig. By the time he's off Ogygia, he probably has siren-adjacent voice-powers. Not as potent or completely-hypnotizing as their singing, just verrrry persuasive. Like. Extra Charisma points. Not that he knows, considering he's been living & interecting with gods for the past seven years and then next few days, so.

mega hammerhead (2016) - they follow hammerhead sharks around and dive/tag them to learn more and possibly find a big one

super-sized sharks (2024) - a group of scientists go to norfolk island and study a bunch of tiger sharks

blue water, white death (1971) - a time before jaws! guys go and try to find a bigass shark and take a picture of it. i havent seen it in a while so there may be shark stereotyping and fuckass badmouthing but i dont think any sharks are harmed(?) god k hope not

chasing coral (2017) - researchers go looking at coral reefs, since a lot of reefs are currently endangered due to environmental factors..

blue planet i & ii (ii is 2017) - a second of a series!! shows a lot of really sick ocean things..

oceans (2009) - again a lot of really cool ocean videos bleh!!

Instead of just bringing other older characters from the MCU like kingpin, kate bishop, ant-man, daredevil for the mcu spider-man college storyline

Why not just give us characters that we haven’t seen yet in the MCU like gwen, harry, felicia or even a mcu version of norman osborn

If you people are going to say is “but he already fought green goblin in smnwh”, the reason why i want to see a mcu norman osborn is just to see how peter would interact to a guy that he hates so much and i want to see him as the main bad guy for the arc so peter can feel gaslighted by harry since harry is his best friend and he doesn’t want to say that he’s spider-man or saying that norman is a bad guy

And also…why not make a romantic subplot between felicia hardy who is in her teen college years and peter would somehow have feelings for her and move on with mj

I feel like he has to move on already for her since that he’s in a different school already, he moves on the stark stuff, happy doesn’t even know him anymore, aunt may died, his best friend and girlfriend doesn’t even know him anymore and so he is now in a new life, no stark tech, no wealthy home, just a life where it’s hard but you can make it better
