So Sonic 3's trailer finally dropped today. Any thoughts on it?

I had zero hype for this film because I didn't like the previous two and had no reason to believe this one would turn out any different. Lo and behold! ...it doesn't.

There's so much I could talk about.

• The shameless digging up of the corpse of my favorite Sonic game just to dress it up Norman Bates-style. Why yes, I love getting butchered adaptations of SA2 shoved down my throat. Keep 'em coming.

• The fact that the overly-furry aesthetic Paramount chose for Sonic and the other anthros still looks plug-ugly to my eyes no matter how much I try to get acclimated to it. In fact, it somehow looks even worse here than it did in previous movies.

• The fact that they ripped off a scene from Matrix Revolutions. Interesting choice, lmao.

• Jimbotnik continuing to register as "Jim Carrey in a costume" and not as Eggman.

• Agent Stone continuing to be a nothingburger of a character aside from being a living footstool for Jimbotnik. I thought everybody said he was going to be 3's main antagonist. Why is he even here.

• Jimbotnik calling Gerald "Pop-Pop," cutesy-ing it up for no real reason, when Eggman simply called him "grandpa" at most in the games. What, is his grandfather Mike Ehrmantraut now?

• The original game's "fuck the police" angle now being ignored in favor of maybe making GUN look like the good guys (what?).

• The fact that the ARK, an iconic location, is nowhere in sight is making me more than a tad apprehensive. Idk if this thing is supposed to replace it:

• This one really steams my hams: the fact that Paramount portrays Jimbotnik's weight gain via hateful stereotypes of fat men which the games do not employ in their overall portrayal of Eggman. It reflects a fatphobic attitude I could have told you was the case years ago judging by the fact that they cast a thin man in the role.

Games!Eggman is stylish and immaculately groomed, but Jimbotnik has to be a slob who dresses like The Dude just because he gained a little weight. Of course. 🙄

It really bothers me because Eggman is quite possibly one of the only examples of positive fat male representation I can point to, and they can't even let him be a little fat onscreen without literally exposing his belly with the intent to make fun of him in ways the games seldom do, if ever.

God fucking forbid he actually weighs the 281 lbs. he does in canon; Paramount would probably portray him like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers.

In lieu of being portrayed as dumb and weak, as is usually the case for fat male characters, Games!Eggman is portrayed as cunning, intelligent, powerful (physically and mentally), and stylish in a way that commands respect, despite whatever this Chili's says to discredit him. Eggman is fucking cool, and y'all are tripping if you don't think so.

• The fact that this movie is probably going to be cringe on the basis of its constant bathos-inducing insistence on making the characters crack mistimed jokes during serious moments.

• Doing a double take when Sonic called Shadow an "alien," possibly realizing that "alien" is the film universe's designation for anthros, then promptly short-circuiting and catching on fire. Can we not.

• Why does the trailer insist on making Shadow look like a wet cat? They did not deep-freeze my boy like they did in the games. Games!Shadow emerged from stasis minty-fresh, whereas Movie!Shadow looks like a newborn kitten yeeted straight out of the womb:

Disgustang. Stop that.

• The fact that everyone gives '06 flack for aesthetic whiplash but thinks Shadow looking like a muppet beside an irl little girl is fine, actually:

And the fact that said little girl may be killed just making dead Maria jokes 10x more uncomfortable than they need to be.

• They missed an opportunity for a fun visual gag by having the bathroom sign read "occupied" instead of "eggupied" or "hatching" (as in hatching a scheme. or a shit. maybe both, lol). Something like that:

They can pay homage to the Akira bike slide and the Super Burly Brawl from Matrix Revolutions, but God forbid we actually allude to Sonic games :v

...But most of this can be boiled down to "Paramount gonna Paramount."

All in all, I'm likely to continue my time-honored tradition of seeing the movie when it releases in theaters because deep down, I'm still a Sonic whore and subsequently pretending the films don't exist thereafter lol

The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog (My Thoughts)

Before I start with anything, I just have to let this out: I ADORE THIS GAME!!! It has no right to be so good and I genuinely want more of these kinds of games where we get to interact with more of the Sonic cast. All of them were written so well, with their own little quirks and the game is just pure fun. Honestly, I could probably go on and on about this, but I’ll just do a quick summary of some of my favorite character interactions before moving on to one character I had been anticipating the most. Spoilers are ahead!

The player character, whose name is apparently Barry the Quokka, is really fun and I adore his cave-loving and trash-searching quirks. Not to mention the ways of him dealing with “this group’s unhinged way of thinking”, trying to just go along with all the weirdness and fanboying over Sonic.

I also love his dynamic with Tails, who is the most adorable detective I’ve ever seen. Honestly, this whole thing gave me a lot of Ace Attorney vibes and I’m living for it.

Well, most adorable next to another of my favorite detectives:

If you never watched Detective Conan, I strongly suggest you do.

I gotta say, Tails’ reaction to Sonic being “murdered” is kind of raw...

...and then it crosses the line with Amy being excited that someone “murdered” Sonic.

Next, another character who really looks good in his outfit - Knuckles! I love that they gave him the cowboy hat, even if it’s not the same as the Sonic OVA (progress guys, progress) and he actually commits to the bit of a sheriff, at least for Amy, only to just drop it when Tails and Barry arrive. Oh, and him and Vector for the high score at the arcade game and Knuckles just punching it in frustration when Vector beat him. Honestly, who wouldn’t do that?

Following up, Espio and Vector. I loved how committed Espio was to his role as the poet, even if his poetry wasn’t exactly... the best (not to mention his outfit looks so fitting!). He really has this “He’s a bit confused, but he’s got the spirit!” vibe going on. Then there were other bits like the fact that Espio actually speed read through a book just to spoil the ending for Knuckles.

Then there’s Vector just defending Espio when he gets accused. Let’s be real here, Vector is Espio’s Dad and no one can change my mind.

Next are Blaze and Rouge, and I found it so hilarious that Rouge managed to rope Blaze, Tails and Barry into her heist of stealing the Fabergé Chao Egg and Blaze just goes along with it because it’s part of her character lore card.

Not to mention the whole bit with them thinking the egg is a bomb and trying to figure out what to do with it (spoilers!: it’s not a bomb). Superb comedy!

Next, we move on to Shadow, and I had been really anticipating how he’d be written in this story. My thoughts? Goddamn, this was the kind of character writing I’ve been begging for ages!

In the story, Shadow is quite suspicious due to locking all the doors in the train, with Amy, Tails and Barry interrogating him and Amy believing he “murdered” Sonic. Well, as it turns out, the reason he was locking the doors was because he was trying to keep Amy out of the Lounge Car (while also handing out keys to everyone else). Why?

He was just trying to use the computer and buy Amy concert tickets of her favorite band, Hot Honey, for her birthday. Like, how adorable is THAT?!

Shadow then admits that he had trouble with it, printing out the Hot Honey website on accident and that he isn’t the best with computers. He then proceeds to explain:

So to recap, Shadow really cares about Amy and he put effort into trying to get her a nice birthday present, even if he didn’t succeed. Not only that, but he had also agreed to come to Amy’s birthday party (dressed as a Starbucks Barista; yeah, we all know the joke) and even helped out Knuckles and Vector with the arcade game they had trouble figuring out (also signing his high score with “Ultim”).

Now tell me, with the way he had been written in the Sonic IDW comics...

...and the whole SEGA mandates thing going on, do you really think Shadow would act like that? Honestly, I don’t think so, which makes me believe that, even if it’s for a spin-off game, maybe they’re finally loosening up on Shadow’s character. Evan Stanley did mention that they want Shadow to be written more closer to his game counterpart and if they’re fine with him being characterized as he is in this spin-off game, then I’m all for it!

Also, seeing Shadow being flustered over being invited to the concert is frigging adorable... and maybe a reference to the Twitter Takeover? I mean, both are apparently Taylor Swift fans. Oh, and speaking of references:

I said it once and I’m saying it again, Shadow is so cute in this game!

Anyways, Shadow tags along with Tails, Amy and Barry to the Conductor Car, where they solve the mystery, calling everyone to hear what happened, but when they go to get Sonic, they realize that something is wrong.

When Sonic doesn’t respond, Shadow and Espio are the first to jump in to help him. Once again, this is the kind of writing I really wanted to see when it comes to Shadow’s character. He really cares about his friends.

Speaking of friends...

Yeah... I wouldn’t want to be Amy’s target when she’s in this kind of mood.

Speaking of target, it looks like Espio isn’t the only one who’s about to commit “murder”. Yes, spoilers for those who hadn’t played the game, Espio was the one who “murdered” Sonic, albeit by using a blowdart and drugging him. However, there is a twist to this mystery.

Yeah, as it turns out, not only is the train a Badnik, but everyone is en route to be delivered to Dr. Eggman.

Honestly, this is getting rather creepy, especially with the train holding everyone hostage like this.

The train then locks everything up, throwing Sonic and Barry into the Dining Car, with Eggman calling in and explaining this was all part of his plan. He promised that he would reward any Badnik who could deliver him Sonic and his friends, and the train Badnik took it upon itself to fulfill that.

Okay, can we just talk for a moment how Eggman has managed to make a train Badnik without anyone noticing? This is disturbing.

After Eggman turns the call off, Barry starts blaming himself for not telling anyone how he noticed that Sonic was genuinely injured, because if he did, this whole story could’ve been avoided.

Sonic cheers him up, pointing out how it is easy to question the decisions that got you to the end of a road, but you should let those negative thoughts pass and keep living. Honestly, it’s the kind of advice everyone needs.

He and Barry then blast through each train car, eventually reaching the Badnik and the conductor.

The train Badnik then reveals how it just wanted to be forever friends with the conductor and was enraged when it realized that the conductor “abandoned” it, so it decided to deliver Sonic and co. to Eggman to get its reward - being forever together with the conductor. 

Damn, this game makes me actually feel bad for a train.

Sonic has none of it, calling the train selfish for doing this at the expense of everyone, and with the help of his friends, he manages to hit the train, allowing for Espio to grab the Flicky and Amy to smash the train.

Once things calm down and everyone’s outside the train, Sonic reveals the cake he had bought, with everyone wishing Amy Happy Birthday.

As for Eggman, he figures out that his plans have been foiled once again, but more importantly - SAGE CAMEO!!! And she and Metal Sonic are wearing “Let’s Go Dad!” T-shirts, that’s so adorable! (I suppose this also means this story takes place after Sonic Frontiers.)

So, yeah, this was The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog, and it’s amazing! My only complaint here is that Silver is missing, but otherwise, I love it. Like I said before, we really need more games where we get to interact with Sonic’s friends.

Week 86 - 8/28/23 - A BLUE BEETLE MOVIE???

Hi there, 

It probably isn't news as it's a pretty popular film in theaters right now, but there's a Blue Beetle movie out! And it's a lot of fun! 

If you didn't know, Ted Kord, the second Blue Beetle, is my favorite superhero. There's a pretty good joke in the new movie about the difference between Ted and Batman, and not to step on the punchline, but it boils down to Ted knows how to laugh. He's a character frequently written to have a sense of humor, to know a good joke, and to be the dramatic superheroic straightman when it counts. He is not exactly an everyman--he's a genius, he dresses up in a silly costume, and he's rich--but in a lot of ways, he's just a guy trying to do the right thing because he can. 

And he casts a long shadow over the new movie, which is about Jaime Reyes--fantastically played by the dreamy Xolo Maridueña--who I don't love quite as much as Ted, but who I think is himself a great and important character. He's a very different hero. He's got a sense of humor, he's got a good heart, but his relationship with his family, with his friends, with the scarab, and with the Blue Beetle legacy allows him to be something totally apart from Ted. The movie takes a lot of liberties--it's part Spider-Man, part Ant-Man, part Green Lantern (though... honestly probably better than the past few recent film adaptations of those characters)--but it doesn't run from the truth of who Jaime is as a character, which I think makes it all the better. The best superhero movie projects don't try to be just an adaptation, but to take what makes the hero great, understand it, and share it in a way that makes them more accessible and loom larger as a hero. 

I don't want to spoil anything, but there was one extremely stupid part that made me tear up (out of just finally getting to see a thing on-screen and knowing there's some practical version of it out there and honestly, a little bit jealousy). If you see me, or want to reach out and ask about it, I'll gladly tell you. 

But there's a Blue Beetle movie. And even though I saw it and really quite liked it... I kinda still can't believe it.

And the theater that was showing Oldboy had a special Cinema Day deal on the Blue Beetle backback popcorn bucket, so I did pick it up because that with a popcorn and a drink was still significantly cheaper than the bucket usually is by itself. okay so, i’m closing in on finishing my current sonadow fanfic!! here it is in case anyone’s interested, i tag as thoroughly as i can so hopefully that’ll be enough for y’all to come to your own conclusions about going through with reading!

this post isn’t about the chapter that got linked above, that will be the first chapter, it’s about the most recent one i posted in which a baby shower occurs!! i rly wanted to elaborate on the gifts and that’ll all be below the readmore!

so for starters: i did NOT think the Babylon Rogues would appear at this point, i was more planning for the final chapter but i needed just a little more to happen in this one and here we are lmao. for those who may not be familiar this is what Wave gave to Sonic

i had nothing i was really going off of for the stroller Tails created other than him engineering the wazoo out of it, but shout out to Napstashook for bringing up the idea of a mobile in a comment! while it may not have been created by Eggman since i’ve had what he actually gifts planned since the beginning, your comment absolutely inspired me to have Tails gifting it bcs the idea of it was so cute!

a headcanon i have for Knuckles is that he has a couple different hobbies to pass the time while guarding the ME, and wood whittling is one that i see him doing a lot! also my family gifted blocks in this style to my cousin’s kid and they’re super fun, i figured Knuckles would do something a little more geometric rather than basic shapes!

i tried to imply it as best as i could, but Amy just literally bought any and everything that was cute to her. dino shirt? bought. frilly dress? in the basket. socks that come in a rainbow spectrum of colors? that shit is going to her adorable lil niece or nephew so they can be dressed in everything possible and have all sorts of fun baby photos to look back on later when they’re older. bonus: if their assigned gender at birth changes, they can pick the baby photos that they feel best about! that was the thought process i was going for with her

i was a little unsure for a while what the Chaotix would give, but then thought of how adorable it would be for Charmy to want to give the drumset he has in Heroes! (he absolutely has a more elaborate drum set at this point that is way louder lmao) Vector and Espio having practically raised the lil guy i figure they would value the memories they’ve created with him and would encourage Sonic and Shadow to do the same with their child

I was a lil stumped with Rouge, before applying the same sort of hobby headcanon for her except she absolutely has a collection of crocheted fashion that she rocks whenever she can, all of that cool bikini shit!!! also absolutely has her own custom blanket if she feels like hanging upside down to sleep. Shadow knew of the hobby and maybe even secretly hoped that she would make a baby blanket, but didn’t pressure Rouge. also my own dad has done the same multiple times for friends and family over the years having babies, idk how often other writers do it but i love just. taking tiny things like this from my own life and inserting it where i can. idk it just makes me feel warm and happy :) also a pic for reference for the blanket!

back at it again with the irl influences: i didn’t specifically want to name it but the book series Vanilla gives are absolutely these guys or some Sonic-World equivalent

this series and author is the S H I T. so fucking good. it’s my mom’s favorite and she gifted all the ones she had to the same kid who got the blocks! and i loved the idea of Cream wanting to create a plush, kind of like something her mom had made for her when she was a baby, to give to the new youngest member of this mashed together found family. also i feel like every Sonic fan at some point looked up making a custom plush version of their Chao on their SA1 or SA2 Chao garden saves

from the beginning i knew Omega’s gift would be something to the point like diapers, but only recently came up with them also vowing they would be the one to upkeep the diaper supply. this absolutely means that once or twice they receive a frantic message from Shadow in the middle of the night asking for more bcs both he and Sonic completely forgot to grab some bcs they are Just Tired. Omega dutifully follows through and accidentally intimidates the poor employee who’s running the 24/7 store alone that the robot had to go to for the specific brand of diapers that the organics insist on using

Blaze was easy to figure out from the start what she would gift, Silver was a little more tricky until i went with the mindset of what he would’ve wanted in his childhood. it definitely wouldn’t have been a magic cure all, but even regular white noise i’m sure would be preferable to the sound of exploding lava or whatever the fuck was happening in Crisis City. for those not entirely sure what kind of sling Blaze gifts it’s this sort of thing

with Eggman’s gift it was pretty set from the beginning, the Project Shadow files and some sort of toy which eventually i landed on the choice of a rattle! i just love the idea of him finding irony in giving the offspring of his worst enemy a toy with his own face on it that will inevitably be smacked against any and every surface or face possible, and idk if there is any actual rattles with a silencing option, but i thought that would be a neat engineering thing. also the panicked reaction of everyone hearing an audible click from something that Eggman created was too funny, and Sonic just casually okay with giving the toy to his child. super excited to explore more of the relationship between this mad genius and blue hedgehog kajfjf

so, i went searching for frames that honor babies lost via miscarriage, it was hard personally looking at them. not that i’ve had a miscarriage, but any loss of life is horrible. a lot of them were very religious-focused or morbid for my own taste, that’s great it’s helped so many others! i’m trying not to discount that, but so many of them just felt too much like a gravestone or didn’t match with how i’ve characterized Sonic and Shadow in this fic. i feel that neither would be all for something that felt so grief-ridden or weighed down by sadness, and would want something that helps to celebrate and remember Dusk and Dawn in a less flowery-poetry or religious sort of way. writing this whole part with the frame and how it resonated with Sonic is one of the few times my own writing made me tear up, most likely because of how it lines up with my own beliefs, and instead of thinking about how terrifying the nature of death is, to try viewing it in a more positive way

Tag Fact #3 -  I’ve come to realize I’ve always been a fan artist more than I thought. so here is a timeline of influences that shaped my childhood to now. from nostalgic times, to sad changes, to great loss, to strange rises to fame and phases, to stepping stones and finally a laughing place. all the things that make up your favorite fan artist Tag.

1. Rayman (bumped into this in the year of 1999) was actually the first fandom (with crossovers) I bumped into when I was 9. although the internet wasn’t available at the time it was still fun to dwell in home amusements. I remember the storylines and the OC’s I made but they’re kind of embarrassing and it’s probably a good thing there was no internet. I’ve done fanart and comic crossovers of Rayman with Calvin and Hobbs and Nights Into Dreams, spinoffs of Sonic the Hedgehog OC’s, Yoshi with Pikachu, and the Pokemon/Digimon craze with OC’s and other Nintendo comic shorts. but the drawings and comics are long gone and disappeared in the garage in a backpack due to suspecting my sister’s dad accidentally throwing them away. years later towards the year 2018 (now 28), we decided to move to North Carolina and it was my chance to find them again. unfortunately the backpack was gone just like I suspected (my main stuff), but for some reason I found my Pokemon/Digimon fanart, a good batch of Super Mario drawings (vaguely remember doing these), my sister’s drawings and some other neighborhood kids’ drawings in a dirty box. I was partially happy I found something at least but it was the backpack I wanted the most. sometimes I regret not looking for the backpack (’cause I was too busy being a kid) but it’s alright, noone needs to see that shit anyway, ha ha. anyways, I recall being a fan of Rayman from 1999 ‘til 2002.

2. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (bumped into this in the year of 2003) my second fandom I bumped into when I was 12 going on 13. at the time, my sister and I both liked the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise based on the Battle remake and ended up making our own secret fanart club that consisted of only us two members. she liked Sonic (and that was her boyfriend, ha ha) and I liked Knuckles (and he was my boyfriend, ha ha) and we were crazy in love about Shadow’s backstory. we listened to the game’s soundtracks as we drew fanart and comics after school and man, those were good times. however, as we grew older towards the year of 2005, we ended up having separate rooms and I believe it played a part in disconnecting on the same interest. then one day, I asked her why she wasn’t into Sonic anymore and she replied, “Because I grew up.” I was sad after that and slowly observed that she was influenced by the emo culture and the new friends she’s made. I was the only member of our little club for a little longer...but eventually I moved on too. I still have some surviving fanart we did together but it doesn’t mean shit anymore since she turned out to be an abusive mother from the last I’ve heard of her. 

3. Gorillaz (bumped into this in the year of 2006). as the Sonic years were at its end, I first heard the song “Feel Good Inc” on Music Choice and seeing the first image of them as displayed on this post (except the fan-made background doesn’t count since I can’t find the original artwork). this was my third fandom and later had proper access to the internet to the website I still currently use called DeviantArt. at first I liked 2D but eventually fell for Murdoc and developed a spiritual connection towards the character as obviously seen in my old fanart and rare photos of my devotion shrines on Valentine’s Day and his birthday every year. for the longest time since being a permanent fan from 2006-2017 (11 1/2 years) I had no knowledge that it was a political propaganda band and other realizations I don’t want to talk about. I only followed them because it was a cartoon and not the bullshit behind the musical project. the world I’ve built and support for them for all those 11 1/2 years shattered the fuck out of me and I just wanted to be left alone to find myself again, somehow. activity stopped on all my profiles, the flow of fanart stopped since I now cringe from the fan service and felt I was used for my talent. I didn’t want to be reminded of it all so I took down all my Gorillaz fanart and archived them for old followers’ nostalgia but also in the hopes they’ll be forgotten in my timeline. I ceased to exist in the fandom for huge personal reasons but it’s best to not say why. I know for sure that the fandom wonders what happened but it’s none of their business. THE END.

4. Waluigi (although I knew he’s been around since 2000 during childhood, I took deep interest once I revisited the character again in the year of December 2013). as silly as this sounds, when I revisited him again, the character was so bizarre that I ended up staying up 3 nights and 3 days in a row just looking all over the internet on everything about him and the questionable “hush-hush” absence of a backstory. despite there being no backstory he slowly gained a cult following and in many ways it’s a good thing. however, since the early 2010′s tension has been building up between Nintendo and its fans about him starring in a main game but everyone hasn’t fully gotten it in their heads that it’s not gonna happen. as long as Nintendo is in control of that, the fandom will not win, I’m sorry to say. on the other hand, if it’s going to be this way, then that’s what fanart and comic projects are for. as for me, I am doing my very best to get my comic project “Waluigi Land” going. again, I apologize if it’s taking very long to get Chapter 2 going if you’ve been keeping track but aha moments need to develop before I start permanent drawing (since concepts, character design and storyline needed improvement badly). as of right now I am still a Waluigi fan and I will not quit on him.

5. Turbo from Wreck-It-Ralph (although it debuted in 2012, I watched the movie two years later into the year 2014). for some bizarro reason, I had an unhealthy obsession with this character to the point where I dressed up as him for Halloween 2014. only 2 fanarts of him and the Turbo Twins exist on my profiles, mainly because my mind was more focused on just ‘thinking about him’ or ‘being him’ rather than drawing physical drawings. luckily, this supposed alleged fandom didn’t last long a little after Halloween so I chalk it up as a very short phase. to this day I don’t know what has gotten over me about him. the only thing I can think of now is that I think it’s because the character had yellow eyes and teeth but I don’t know. now that I think of it, that little fucker was ugly as hell and I STILL don’t know what had gotten over me. one day, my brother mentioned what that was about, and I said to him, “I don’t wanna talk about it.”

6. Undertale (although it debuted in 2015, I later took interest in it in 2016). It was all about Sans and Papyrus. I couldn’t get enough of the skeleton bros. eventually Toriel and Mettaton EX became my favorites but it took a long time to draw more of all 4 of them because I had other important things to do in my life plus I was still waiting for the next Gorillaz album to revive my imaginative juices (or so I thought). I really want to have this as one of my frequent fandoms but I just don’t have time for it anymore. it’s still in the back of my head to want to draw them but at this point I still have other better interests to be in. and besides, I’m lazy just like Sans.

7. Cuphead (June 28th, 2017 was the official day I called quits on the British-based band Gorillaz due to the bullshit behind it. since that date I was lost, had no inspiration to look forward to and no cartoon guy to make me smile...but lo and behold of the same year, I took an interest in playing the game Cuphead and man...that shit was a frightening exaggerated metaphor for being on that one drug (forgot the name though) and having sex at the same time but man that was the best fun I’ve had in years. I mean, it’s like, enemies are just so happy to murder you and that scared the shit outta me. and the facial exaggeration?....I think I should stop, ha ha. anyways, the Moldenhauers saved my ass from spiraling down, they have no clue. anyways, eventually I became a permanent fan of their work so to ease the hurt and erase my past from the G-fandom I had to re-wire my brain into a different cartoon category that’s a rather more American, so anything Toon related like Roger Rabbit, Felix the Cat or another favorite that’s a western-based cartoon makes me feel better, especially my new man .......King Dice <3 <3<3<3. however, there was something about this new fandom category I still didn’t quite understand until the date March 14th, 2020. I finally understood what it was but I feel I shouldn’t bring it up. anyways, Cuphead and anything western or rubber hose is my last stop in inspiration for the remaining years of my life. many say never say never but I believe I’ve found my laughing place and that’s all that matters.

Sonic Babies! (Oneshot)

I still have some asks, and don’t worry, I will get to them, I just had a sudden urge to write this story, and I just couldn’t help myself tho-

    “WHAT. THE. HELL. JUST. HAPPENED?!” 

Amy and Tails stood in shock as three baby hedgies and a baby echidna were on the floor, gurgling at the sight of the older hedgehog and fox.

    “T-They just turned into babies...” Tails murmured. “I told them to stay away from the machine. What do they do? Go near the machine. Chaos, now I have to fix this...Amy, I hope you’re not ma-” Tails turned around to find Amy laying on the floor, while baby Sonic was nuzzling Amy’s cheek, baby Silver was climbing onto her stomach, baby Knuckles was chewing on Amy’s thumb, and baby Shadow was rested on Amy’s legs. 

   “I had no idea they were so CUTE as babies!” Amy gushed as Silver giggled at her. Amy got up and scooped them all up into her lap and cuddled with them. 

   “Hey Amy, do you mind watching them while I find a way to reverse this?” Tails asked the pink hedgie, who had stars in her eyes.

    “Yeah! Don’t you have a stroller from when you were younger?” Amy replied, and stood up. She saw a red chaos emerald, and assumed that it was Shadow’s, so she gave it to Tails to keep safe. 

    “Yup, it’s under that table, Cream used it last week for Cheese’s kids.” Amy nodded, and grabbed the stroller, and put everyone in, or at least three of them in...

    “SONIC!” Amy screamed. Baby Sonic had wires in his hand, and even though he was a baby, he still had that annoying smirk of his. “Put the wire down, or you will be in time-out faster than you can run!” Sonic dropped the wires immediately and Amy could see tears starting to make its way down his cheeks. She ran to him and hugged him close to her. “I’m so sorry, Sonikku. I promise I won’t yell at you like that, again. Or at least while you’re a baby. All you have to do is be a good boy to me. That applies to you three as well,” Amy looked at the infants which were playing with the stuffed animals in the stroller.

    “M...Mama!” Everyone suddenly went so quiet, you could hear a pin drop. Sonic giggled and continued to babble. Even Knuckles, and Silver started saying ‘mama.’ Shadow only grunts, and mutters something that sounded like “momma.” Amy squealed and scooped them out of the stroller and hugged them once again.

She put them down into the stroller, again, and gave them pecks on the cheeks, and then giggled.

     “Your older selves would kill me if I did that.” Amy walked out of the workshop, leaving Tails processing everything that just happened.

- In The Village -

    “Now listen here, boys. You have to be on your best behavior, and no crying. Got it?” She commanded the boys, but they only tilted their head. “. . .Let’s just you do.” She walked with the stroller, earning many odd stares from the villagers, but Amy didn’t seem to notice. “Let’s see, Shadow likes oranges (LMAO IDK) Silver likes honey, Knuckles likes grapes, Sonic likes chilidogs...There isn’t any chilidog flavored baby food...I’ll buy some of this, and if he doesn’t like it, I’ll just blend up the chillidog!” She bought everything, until she saw Blaze, Rouge, and Lyra standing near a boutique. She walked over to them (Let’s talk about her outfit first)

 She’s wearing a Ditsy Floral Print Square Neck Dress (Link to dress on Pinterest) With a white sun-hat with roses on the side.

     “Why do these little guys look like our boys?” Rouge asked with interest, focusing mainly on Knuckles.

     “Oh, you know, I fucked all four of them and gave birth to their kids. Their names are Dash, Emo, Weed, and Steroids.” Amy sarcastically said. Blaze and Rouge looked frightened for a moment before they realized that she was only kidding. “They’re the boys, I have to take care of them. Long story short, they got into an age-changer invention thing, and they all turned into babies. Aren’t they the cutest? Especially little Sonic.” She bent down and started cooing to him. “Yes? Who’s the cutest little baby in the whole universe? You are! Yes you are, yes you are~!” The girls watched as Amy fangirled over her crush as an infant.

    “Wow, Pinky. I’m guessing if you and Big Blue were to have a kid, he’d look just like that.” Rouge smirked. Amy blushed.

     “That is, if he actually likes me...” Amy muttered. “But what about you and Knuckles, hmm?” Amy smirked back at her. This time it was Rouge that had gone the same color as her favorite red echidna. Amy giggled at her reaction. “Anyways, we should buy some clothes, because they’re only covered by their normal outfit, but the sports tape was there, and Amy was worried they’d wrap it around their necks and suffocate.

    “I have some baby clothes from when I was taking care of Cheese’s children. Maybe that could fit on them?” Blaze asked. Amy nodded eagerly.

   “Yes please! I don’t want to waste money on something that won’t even come to use later on!” Amy squeaked out in agitation. They all separated to retrieve everything they needed for the boys. They all met back at Amy’s house.

    “Okay, now, we should feed them. Yes~, we should feed your chubby wittle tum-tums!~ Yes, we should! Who wants chilidogs, and grow so big and strong, and have your little Ames swoon over how handsome you are?~” Amy continued to baby-talk to Sonic, as he only giggled and fell over to his side. This made all the girls go crazy over how adorable and pure he was acting. The others, desperate for attention, dragged themselves onto the girls’ laps. They all fan-girled because the boys they’ve wanted since, well, FOREVER, crawled into their laps submissively! 

    “OH MY ASS, THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME, KNUXIE IS ON MY LAP! I mean, not the way I wanted, but YES.” Rouge squealed with excitement. She stroked his dreads, while Blaze was running her hands through Silver’s quills. Lyra was gently traced the red stripes on Shadow’s quills, being very light, so he wouldn’t get all moody and fuss about it. Sonic noticed this and grimaced at them. He climbed up on to Amy, and nipped at the top of her dress.

   “Oh my goodness! Uhh, what am I supposed to do? SONIC! Stop nipping at my dress, little gummy bear!” Amy said, grabbing baby Sonic’s torso and lifted him up, while he flailed his arms and legs around. “Stop it! Do you want any chilidogs?” Sonic immediately stopped and smiled with his mouth open. He put his tiny little hand in his mouth and gurgled. Amy inwardly swooned, her cheeks heating up. Even as a baby, Sonic was still a ladies’ man. She put them on a floor, after putting a plastic tablecloth cover under them, and prepared their food. Amy mashed up the chilidogs, making sure it wasn’t too spicy, and fed it to Sonic.

He happily ate it with no complaints, but you couldn’t really say the same for Knuckles and Silver. Silver constantly kept rejecting the food, and Knuckles wouldn’t pay attention. Knuckles seemed to look at something else, which wasn’t exactly food...

   “WOAH MY CHAOS! KNUCKLES! I’M NOT FOOD!” Rouge yelled as Knuckles pounced on Rouge and attempted to pull down the heart on her outfit. After a few minutes of squirming and yelling and Lyra having to pry Knuckles’s hands off with a crowbar, Silver and Shadow seemed to be enjoying the show in front of him, and Sonic was laughing hysterically and clapped his hands. After all that happened, the girls decided that the boys needed a bath. 

Amy filled the bathtub up, strapping Sonic to her with a scarf, seeing as she didn’t have those baby-body carrier things. (I’m not going to look it up to confirm its name) The bathtub was too deep for the kids, and they couldn’t exactly sit on their own, so the girls got their swimsuits and went into the water with them. They used washcloths to cleanse them, covering their eyes when they got to the lower body. They gurgled and giggled. (Lmao I keep repeating the same words over and over again) Shadow, being Shadow, only huffed, while his tail wagged. Lyra chuckled at his reaction.

Now, you might be wondering, ‘Doesn’t Sonic hate water?’ Why yes, he does. I forgot to mention that Amy had a hard time getting him into the bathtub, he kept spindashing out of the tub and Amy had to catch him before he fell on the ground. 

    “Sonic! Get in the bathtub, NOW.” Amy gave a deadly glare to Baby Sonic, and he widened his eyes, a little creeped out by her, but didn’t obey her. He tried to run, but only being around six months, he had a little trouble crawling. Amy picked him up, and distracted him by kissing him on his bare stomach, while he laughed. While he was chortling, Amy quickly bounced right into the tub. Silver was making the bubbles and water float. As if sensing Sonic’s fear of water, he made the water fall onto Sonic. Blaze scolded him, while Amy glared at him.

Sonic smirked at Silver, while Shadow did something that wiped the smug look off his face. Shadow took a toy that could soak in water, and he squeezed it, causing the water to fall all over Sonic. He whined, splashing water into Shadow’s eyes, and before the girls could even blink, they started a water fight. They got the babies out before the fight got physical.

Amy got a call from Tails that the age reverse mawas face, and they quickly took them to Tails’s workshop. 

    “Are you girls ready?” Tails asked. The girls were internally crying. They had grown emotionally attached to the babies during the one hour they had them. Perhaps it was because the boys gave more attention to them more than they had when they were adults.  They brought the kids in blankets, so the neighbors wouldn’t start rumors.    

     “Can we just say goodbye?” Blaze asked in a depressed tone. Tails nodded.

     “Take all the time you want. I don’t think anything’s gonna happen, anyways.” He replied. The girls smiled.  

   “Even though the babies are far more charming, cuter, kinder, and actually appear thankful when we do something for them.” Amy sighed as she snuggled Sonic into her arms. “But I love him more as his normal self. Even if we have to endure their dumb, cruel behavior, we still love them. Don’t tell them we said that, or else.” Amy continued, before glaring at Tails to keep the secret. Tails nodded rapidly. They placed the babies in the invention, after giving them kisses on the cheeks and forehead. 

   “One...Two...THREE!” And with that, the boys were back to normal. The girls ran up to them, and hugged their favorite boy, from Amy to Sonic, Blaze to Silver, Rouge to Knuckles, and Lyra to Shadow. Sonic didn’t know what to do, Silver hugged her back, Knuckles was blushing by the ‘you-know-what’ squishing against his chest, and Shadow was trying to push Lyra away.    

  “Sorry, Knuxie. It’s just that...we missed you!” Rouge cried as she jumped on Knuckles once more. Once Tails explained what had happened, Sonic grabbed Amy’s waist and whispered into her ear. 

  “By the way, we could see and hear everything while we were babies. We could also control ourselves.” Insert a blushing Amy Rose processing everything he had just said.

Shadow: (Completely Speechless of what he's seeing right in front of him)........

Rouge: (Wearing Amy's Red Dress) So? (Poses Towards Shadow) How do I look?

Shadow: ..............Rouge, why are you wearing Amy's dress?

Rouge: Oh? You mean this cute thing? Funny story, actually. When I was at the Dry Cleaners, I might've grabbed it by mistake.

Shadow: So I'm guessing the girl has your usual spy suit now...

Rouge: (Shrugged) Pretty much. But I'm not complaining. I'm actually starting like this dress. That girl sure does have some taste in fashion senses....For the most part at least.

Peach: (From a Distance) Shadow sweetie! Mommy's ready for our day together!

Shadow: (Yell towards the direction distant to where Peach is from) I'll be right there!

Rouge: (Smiles Teasingly at Shadow) D'awww~ Is the Ultimate Lifeform spending quality with his Mommy Dearest today?

Shadow: (Sigh while Blushing a little and looking away) More or less. I didn't have anything else better to do so why not?

Rouge: (Giggles Softly) I guess you really are a Momma's Boy after all~

Shadow: ('Hmph') Whatever. I'll be taking my leave out. I can't keep my mother- I mean....The Princess waiting....

Knuckles: (Sighs Again and begins to turn around once he heard of very familiar voice) What do you now, Rou-uuuuuuge....(Eyes Widened from what he's seeing right now)...What the hell am I looking at right now?

Rouge: You like?~ (Make her ways towards where Knuckles is standing) It's this cute red dress Amy usually wears. (Does Poses in front of Knuckles) Pretty cute, huh?~

Amy: (Holding onto Rouge's Spy Suit) Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually gonna miss this spy suit....('Sigh') Oh well. Fun while it-

Rouge: (Walking Towards Amy) Been a while, Amy.

Amy: Oh hey, Rouge. (Noticed Rouge holding on to her dress) I see you already got my dress too, huh? Don't worry, I'm actually here to bring this back to you.

Rouge: What a coincidence? I was planning on doing the same.

Amy: Really now?

Rouge: Yep..........

Amy: Oh. Cool.

Rouge: .......Soooooo..... I heard you tried out my suit for the day. (Smirks Playfully towards Amy) Is that true?

Amy: (Starts Blushing) I-I-I-I can explain-

Rouge: (Giggles Softly) Relax, Rose. I'm not upset or anything. Just curious is all. But If it makes you feel any better, I tried out your dress as well.

Amy: (Very Surprised) Oh my gosh! Really?!

Rouge: Yep. And I must say, it was pretty nice to wear something like this every once and a while, you know?

Rouge: (Smirks Playfully) Interesting. And now that you mentioned it, I was at Angel Island the other day, showing this to Knuckie. And he liked it too.

Amy: (Eyes Widened) A-Are you serious? You're not making this up right? Knuckles actually like my dress you were wearing?

Rouge: Yep. I guess the charm of your dress and my beauty finally rubbed off on him that day~

Amy: (Rolled her Eyes) (That sounds too good to be true honestly.....)

Rouge: Hey, Amy?

Rouge: This might be the boldest thing I ever say, but how would you like to keep the spy suit as your own?

It's been a while.

  Amy thought for a second how lucky she was. Finally, she had time for herself. The sunlight on her skin felt refreshing, the wind was softly brushing her hair and the tweets of the birds made a beautiful melody. How long has it been ever since she felt this alive?   Sonic and the rookie had finally defeated Infinite and Eggman. However, the world was vastly destroyed and repairments were needed. Sonic left for that same reason, there were still villagers trying to fight Eggman's robot and there was nothing she could do to stop him.

And that was ok.

  Although Sonic leaving her again wasn't her favorite idea, she still had to accept his free spirit. She loved that about him and didn't want to change a thing. However, when everyone thought Sonic had died, something about her awakened. At first, she thought that she would be devastated but that wasn't the case. She was going to make sure to protect the world Sonic died for.

And she was glad she did.

  Looking up to the clear sky, the smell of fresh grass and the beautiful landscape, everything was worth it. At the moment she didn't care what was happening outside the world. Only her and the nature surrounding her, trying to take in as much as she could thinking that after this, she may not have another opportunity. And then...

BUMP

"What the-"

  Amy looked up again, trying to see who did she bumped to this time. Her eyes tried to adjust but the light was too bright to recognized the figure in front of her.

"Surprising to see you around here, pink one," Shadow said as he offered Amy a hand.

"Shadow?" Amy took his hand still wondering why was Shadow off all hedgehogs doing here.

"Affirmative," Shadow said as he helped Amy up, he noticed how softly she tried to clean her dress from the dust of the road. Shadow was aware that Amy was trying to look at the back side of her dress to make sure it was clean. He had to admit that she looked cute, kinda like a puppy trying to bite its own tail.  Amy stopped for a moment and realized she was making herself look stupid in front of Shadow, and right now it wasn't the moment to be doing so.

"Anyways, why are you here? Last time I saw you, you disappeared with Rouge a few days ago after Sonic left the Resistance HQ ... Where is she actually?" Amy said trying to change the topic and fast.

"Yes, we ran into Sonic in a nearby village, we talked for a bit after that. Sonic told us how he met with Knuckles and Rouge decided to go after him." Shadow gave Amy a small explanation. He didn't want to say that he actually got into a fight with Sonic on whether Eggman was lying about losing his memories or not. Knowing her, Amy would probably be mad at him for even trying to punch her 'blue boyfriend'.

"Yeah, he told me that you guys fought over whether Eggman or not is lying about his situation."

  Shadow seemed to have underestimated her.

"I completely agree with you Shadow ... We aren't certain if Eggman might recover his memory or if he has them and he is just pretending to be a good guy now," Amy added.

"I thought you will take your 'boyfriend's' side," Shadow said in a monotone voice. Without noticing they both started walking alongside the road, each other side by side with no destination to reach what-so ever.

"Sonic's side? No of course not, I don't agree with a lot of the things he does but I can't control him and besides, I have a lot of trust in him," Amy looked at the grass and flowers next to her once again appreciating the beauty of it.

"Trust?" Shadow questioned her.

"I trust that he will take the best decision for all of us ... and you Shadow? What's your plan as up to right now?" Amy smiled at him and at this time he honestly had no answer for that.

"I don't really know," Shadow admitted and Amy stood up on her tracks. This is the first time she heard Shadow say that 'he didn't know.' Whether he was wrong or right, he always had a path he was determined to take.

"You are feeling lost?"

"Somewhat ... during the war with Eggman, I was traveling around helping and protecting cities, but now that the war is over and Eggman has no intentions of being evil ... I really don't know."

"What if you come with me?"

"What?" Shadow questioned and felt how Amy happily held his hand.

"Yes, right now we are trying to investigate the reason why the latest attacks seemed to be more organized than before and Sonic believes he got a hint behind this mystery ... Knuckles, Tails and I are on our ways to meet up with Sonic ... you could be a great help!" Amy was more than open to letting Shadow in on their mission and she was sure that the rest wouldn't mind either.

"I don't know about that ..." For some reason, Shadow felt shy about having Amy holding his hand so excitedly. He looked the other way around and Amy turned her head in order to make Shadow look at her in the eyes.

"Come on, it will be fun! I rarely see you, and meeting you here out of all places, it must be destiny ... which reminds me ... How come did we bump into each other? I know was distracted, but you?" Amy fixed her position noticing that Shadow was acting strange. Maybe her actions were making him uncomfortable, she slowly let go of Shadow's hand.

"I was distracted as well," Shadow finally said.

"Really? What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking: What is that ugly pink ball that I see from afar?" Shadow said as he suddenly hit Amy's forehead with his middle finger. He didn't want Amy to know that he was actually so invested in the beauty of spring that he actually bumped into her by accident. He didn't want to show her his soft side.

"You know what, I take back what I said you can stay here for all I care!" Amy childishly showed her tongue to Shadow and although she was clearly mocking him, he found this cute and may be useful later on.

"You can't go back on your word, now put that tongue back," Shadow tried to sound dangerous but he had to admit that this pink hedgehog made him smile by her stupid actions.

"Maaaakeeee meeeee!"

  And Shadow did.

Amy didn't know what was going on at the moment and her expression was priceless. She could only focus on how Shadow's tongue was on hers and how he kept looking at her directly in the eyes.

"YOU CREEP!" Amy said screaming. She was having such a nice day only to be ruined by the hedgehog in front of her.

"You told me to put it back," Shadow defended himself. He knew the kind of territory he was going into and honestly he was enjoying it so far.

"NOT LITERALLY!"

"What's the matter? It's not like its prohibited or anything," Shadow began to walk on the path once again as he heard Amy following him from behind.

"YEAH, BUT I DIDN'T WANT MY FIRST KISS TO BE LIKE THIS!" Amy tried to stop him but Shadow turned around to face her once again.

"Your first kiss was in a beautiful place. A place where you can see the clear sky, where the leave's from the trees fall softly and where you can hear the birds sing...I thought a girl like you would like those kinds of things"

  Amy took a moment to realized that it was true. This place was perfect for a first kiss and it might even be destiny ... but even so ...

"But my first kiss was supposed to be with Sonic!"

"Yeah, and I gave you something better ... you kissed the Ultimate Life Form!" Shadow then stuck out his tongue, mocking her and Amy was sure that she was going to end up murdering him. She tried to play it cool and just go along with it.

"Just admit that you were fascinated by my beauty and got distracted, that's why you bumped into me"

"Yeah you are right," Shadow said plain and simple. Amy's plan on taking revenge on Shadow wasn't working as up to right now and she didn't know whether to feel honored or mad.

"Feeling funny today right, Shadow?"

"No, just being honest,"

  Amy had never felt this kind of heat going around her cheeks before. She was usually the one who was open about love. The one who confesses her love to Sonic all the time and the one who wasn't afraid to show her affection to everyone. But now, Shadow, was being so straightforward, just like her ... so why was she feeling this way?

"Hahahaha so funny Shadow, next thing you are going to say is that you like me, won't you? hahaha-"

"I do,"

  Amy felt a strong beat on her heart and she thought she was going to faint.

"Wha-ttt? You are joking, right?," Amy questioned one more time. He just sighed.

"No, I am not joking. Before I thought you were a childish little pink hedgehog. However, after the war with Eggman and Infinite, I came to realize that you are actually strong, independent and a good leader for everyone. You overcame Sonic's 'apparent' death and kept going forward although you were hurting in the inside... I really like that about you," Shadow walked towards Amy and this time it was him the one holding her hand.

"I ... I ... You are joking right?" Amy wanted to pretend that this wasn't happening.  Was Shadow admitting that he likes her? Like romantically? Or was he just admitting that he likes her as a friend? Shadow mentally facepalmed himself.

"No, Amy, I like you. I think everyone knows that but you. I wouldn't be surprised that you didn't noticed because you are always behind that blue hedgehog."

  Now that she thinks about it, even Silver had mentioned it before. Something about Shadow staring at her too much and Rouge saying something like "Shadow is off lately, probably because he is thinking about someone" while winking at her.

"And well, what's your answer?" Shadow got closer to Amy's face and she felt his breath getting closer and closer to her. She had to admit that his eyes were captivating and don't get her wrong, Shadow was a very attractive male. She remembers there was even a small fan club in the Resistance. Even males dare to enter and enjoyed writing letters and talk about him. After all, Shadow was known as a hero and even consider a legend among rookies.

"I-I ... GOTTA GO FAST!" Amy then took a run.   She ran as fast as she could, she didn't know how to handle it. Was this how Sonic felt every time she confesses her love to him? Was that the reason he always run away from her? Because ... he was shy? She turned around just to find Shadow running behind her.   Shadow knew that he could catch her whenever he wanted, but he was honestly having fun chasing her around. Looking at her blushing face while saying "EEEKKKK" and trying to run faster away from him was honestly amusing. He decided to keep it this way, teasing her, making her blush and having all of these different reactions made his heart race. After the long and exhausting war, chasing Amy under the spring light, going into a new journey with her, was really pleasing for him ...

and it's been a while ever since.

YIPPEEEEEEE my apologies in advance fellas. This is gonna be a long one

Okay SO first things first guys. Idk how exactly the first ep will start I'm sorry I lied BUT! But. I do have a few ideas so hear me out

My favorite and most likely one is a montage of Sonic fighting Eggman and one by one we are introduced to his AWESOME friends. This serves to establish everyone and show off their strengths! In what order I do not know but I do know when Blaze comes around Silver will run over to her and give her a BIG hug and it will be super sweet and the Silvaze stans will feast

It doesn't have to be just fighting either! They could also show everyone crying over a sad movie to show how close everyone is (this is one of my fav ideas and I might draw it myself :-3). The point is to show the audience how much Sonic cares abt his friends.

One thing I do know is remember that clip with Big where Sonic said he had to go help his friends? That could be either helping them fight OR my fav idea is.... Helping them decorate for a PARTY!!!! YIPPEE!!!

So everyone is dressed up and decorating and bringing food and Amy gives Sonic something fancy to wear. This is a rlly good little scene where we get to see interactions between characters and Sonic dancing with everyone (it's the best scene in the entire show and very wholesome) and THEM we get to witness Shadow and Sonic dancing TOGETHER 🙀 THE HOMOS ARE LOOSE!!!! There will be gifs of the party sequence everywhere bc everybody loves it it's that good (also Espilver will happen somewhere I promise u guys)

So Sonic takes a break and asks Tails what they're celebrating. And Tails asks, "Didn't you hear? Eggman just died." And Sonic spits out his drink and screams for he did not know (this sounds rlly edgy and cringe but I promise it isn't. This is the big plot twist and I think it's cool) Sonic, in confusion and shock, asks Orbot and Cubot what happened. They tell him that his latest invention backfired and they heard a huge explosion (WHICH IS WHAT THE EXPLOSION IN THE BIG CLIP WAS GUYS. ITS ALL CONNECTED), and when they got there Eggman was gone. However the machine was in perfect condition as if nothing had happened at all... 🤔

So Sonic decides in denial to go and investigate, just to make sure he's rlly gone. Everyone goes with him to the base not wanting him to go alone. Everyone plays a role here. Inside, the power is out. Sonic uses Orbot as a flashlight and everyone else huddles around Silver bc mf is a living glowstick. After a quick debacle on weather or not to take the stairs or elevator Silver ends up flying everyone up to the top floor

Suddenly a crash is heard. Amy is the one to investigate. She finds Metal Sonic on the ground, banged and beaten up, not only from his sudden descent but from something else... She helps him up and she takes his arm around her shoulders helping him walk. Several rooms are discovered one by one before a super computer is found. Tails turns it on, and Amy brings Metal Sonic over.

Tails plugs Metal's brain or something into the computer Idk and finds files and stuff inside. Idk if the one he opens was in Metal's brain or on the computer itself but he opens it and it's a video message of Eggman, looking very tired but also very excited, talking abt his discovey of the multiverse.

After skimming thru multiple other vids, the final one isn't from Eggman, but from a man who looks strangely like him but younger. Other voices chip in before this man issues a sort of warning, or challenge or trap?? Towards Sonic, and whatever it may be, either way their dimension is doomed and blah blah blah Sonic goes in after him something goes wrong he's separated from his friends and it's super sad yada yada yada THE END!

PHEW THATS IT That's pretty much it and it is very much so subject to change bc I think abt this show constantly. Sorry this was so long but TLDR: Sonic and friends go to investigate the supposed death of Robotnik and as a result Sonic gets sucked into the shatterverse.

I could do more eps but Ik nobody will read this one anyway and I'm quite tired rn so 😭

1. What’s your favorite thing to do on a lazy evening?

Probably to watch a movie with friends. I love making fun of “bad” movies or watching things that my friends suggest but I wouldn’t normally go for.

2. What’s your family setup? Parents? Brothers/sisters? Big family/little family?

I have one younger brother and I’m currently estranged from my parents because of issues we were having so, really, I rely on my chosen family. There’s my fiance’s dad and his girlfriend who are really my parental figures at the moment and then I have a close knit group of ten or so friends that I see at least weekly for D&D if not more often when I need them or they need me.

3. Tell me your top 3 songs! :D

This can change pretty much day to day but at the moment I’d say:”Theme Music” by Professor Elemental, “Tea With Cinnamon” by Katzenjammer, and “Imperfection” by Evanescense.

4. Say one good thing about yourself. C’mon, you can do it. I believe in you.

I am a good friend. Or I try my best to be. I have a “drop everything when you need” me policy that I am very serious about sticking to because I know what it’s like to be low and just need someone to be there for you.

That one’s kind of tough. Yes and no. For the most part, and because of the internet and facebook, if I care about someone I haven’t really let them drift away. And the ones that have, the fact is I miss the version of them from 5, 7, or 10 years ago, not the person they are now. There’s a reason I dropped the person they are now. (That sounds harsh but it’s true.)

7. What do you hope to achieve this year?

I hope to finish “Shadows Will Scream” Talk about a bittersweet goal. :P

8. What is the object on your left right now?

My phone...

9. How long does it take you to get ready for a night out?

Ha. Haha. This assumes that I dress up to go “out” like a girl :P I’m a tomboy/gender neutral-something mess, so usually I don’t do anything. If we’re going somewhere crazy fancy I might stop and put on better eyeliner or purple lipstick or something but that’s about it.

Insecurities

Hey guys! SO, I decided to make a one-shot on how Amy’s feeling very stressed, and her feelings on top of that make it harder for her to be happy. How will Sonic feel once he finds out? Let’s GO!!!!

Amy was sitting at Tails’s house, listening to Tails identify his newest invention, and was smiling, as if she were listening, but the only thing she was listening to was her thoughts. 

  ‘Ugh, don’t you have better things to do, Pinky?” her thoughts kept focusing on when she’d get to go. She started going to far in thinking and ended up hurting her own feelings. ‘Yeesh, you’re so weak, no wonder no one likes you.’ Amy widened her eyes, realizing that everyone had their eyes on her.

  “Uhm, why is everybody staring at me?” Amy asked, not liking the sudden attention. 

  “We were asking if we could have dinner at your place?” Sticks said. 

   “OH. Uhh...o-of course! I’ll go home and start. What does everyone want?” 

    “CHILI DOGS.” Sonic yelled, kneeling down, begging Amy to make them.

    “Eh, I’m fine with whatever you make, Amy.” Sticks said. Amy smiled, not sure whether to take that as a compliment. Amy looked at Tails.

     “Cookies for dessert, Tails?” Amy asked, smirking.

     “You know me, Amy! You’re chocolate chip cookies are the best things that ever happened to me!” Amy felt tears coming, this was too much for her to take. She ran towards Tails and hugged him, and then hugged Sticks, and Sonic, lingering a bit during his turn. As she was about to turn to Knuckles, Rouge slammed the door open, and bent down to control her breathing. 

   “Eggman’s...*pant*...attacking...the *pant* village.” Sonic immediately got up, still a bit giddy from Amy’s unexpected sign of affection, and sped off. Rouge, flew by Amy as they all ran. “What’s up with Blue Boy today? He seemed a little excited, did you kiss him?” Rouge asked the petite pink girl.

   “OH NO, no, no, No, no, NO Rouge! I just gave him a hug.” Amy exclaimed while blushing. 

    “But you wish you could more, right?” Rouge said, nudging her elbow at Amy. Amy turned red, trying to hide the fact her heart was hammering. The team made it to the battle scene, finding Eggman in his Eggmobile waiting to introduce his newest robot. 

   “OH Ho, ho, ho, this robot is sure to get rid of that pesky blue rat!” Eggman laughed evilly, while the villagers just rolled their eyes and watched the fight.

   “You keep calling him a ‘pesky blue rat,’ just call him something else! Maybe...,” Lyra stared off into space for a few moments. “DEFORMED PINEAPPLE!” Amy was the only one that giggled. Sonic glared at her. Amy just smirked at him, and sent a blowing kiss. Sonic went giddy and red again.

   “Ok, let’s take this from the top. OHOHOHO, THIS ROBOT IS SURE TO GET RID OF YOU, YOU DEFORMED BLUE PINEAPPLE!” Eggman shifted to the side, to reveal a 20 foot tall robot, with lasers, missiles, and shooters on its arms, legs, and head. Everyone went straight for it, Sonic being in the lead. The missiles fired, but were quickly dodged. Then the lasers started firing, and that started to get tough. Along with the crabbots and beebots in the background, it was gonna put up a lot of effort. Knuckles and Tails got blasted away leaving Shadow, Rouge, Amy, Silver, Sonic, and Lyra left. Suddenly a missile was fired, and pushed Rouge aside before exploding. It didn’t cause too much damage to her, but she fell to the ground, caught by Knuckles. 

     “Come on Hedgie Squad, we can do this!” Lyra said, stabbing the beebots with her scythe.

     “Don’t call us that ever again.” Shadow muttered, running towards the back of the robot. That wasn’t a very smart idea, because there were lasers and missiles at the back too. Shadow got blasted, and that only enraged him. He ran faster, but got shot by a laser. He gave up, needing a break. Lyra gave up too, because she just felt lazy. She was cautious though, she didn’t feel like this would end well. Silver, Sonic, and Amy were left. Silver got annoyed with all the unnecessary scrap metal zooming around them and picked them up with his powers, and pushed them all together, and threw them to the side.

While he was doing that, he didn’t notice that Sonic was warning him to get out of the way, and Sonic pushed him, but they both got shot by the laser. 

   Eggman chuckles. “Looks like Sonic’s whiny little girlfriend is left. Well, that’ll be easy, since she’s so weak and pathetic anyways. I mean come on! The pink brat can easily be thrown off with a laser, or her hurt feelings.” Lyra and Rouge widened their eyes. That wasn’t a good idea...

Amy fell to her knees. She let out a loud sob. She recited every cruel thing that’s ever been told to her. ‘Weak and pathetic.’ ‘Pink brat.’ ‘Those people aren’t your friends, they just feel sorry for you.’ Everyone looked at Amy with surprise. They didn’t know that Amy was getting bullied. Amy stood up, feeling her heart burn with that same weird feeling she had earlier. She couldn’t identify what it was...

Until Sonic muttered. 

   “Rage.”

Amy’s eyes went dark, along with her quills, and her outfit changed, which surprised Sonic. He was the same when he was in his dark form, he never got a change of wardrobe. Amy however, did. Her dress turned into a dark red halter top, with a high-low skirt, with the back ending just a little below her knees. Her quills became longer, and a blackish aura tinted her vibe.

   “I’m sorry Dr. Eggman, what did you say?” Amy asked, floating towards the eggmobile.

    “Uh...I’m sorry?” Amy leaned back, and the aura only seemed to deepen.

    “YOU LIE! Pathetic old man!” Amy shot some of her negative energy at him, and he disappears into the sky. She summoned her hammer, and it evolved to about 10 feet, and she smashed the robot. It fell back, and then Amy pounded its head.

    “Amy?” Amy’s pupils came back, and she looked scared. She turned back to her normal form, and ran off crying. Lyra held Sonic from catching up to her.

    “Give her a few minutes, bro. Then go.”

Meanwhile, Amy was in her room sobbing, her thoughts keeping her up in a bubble. She didn’t know how it started, but wanted it to stop. She couldn’t help how she felt, but it only hurt her more. She heard a knock on the door, but ignored it. She heard the door open, and she dashed into her closet, and hid under the clothes. 

    “Ames, I know you’re in the closet, open up!” Sonic yelled from the other side.

    “And what if I were changing?” Amy asked, in quite a harsh tone. “I-I’m so sorry, Sonic. I-I don’t k-know what’s happening to me!” Amy let out a sob. 

    “Amy. Just open the door and talk to me. Please.” Amy thought that his tone was a bit strange. It almost sounded as if he were...begging her to open the door. She got up, and slowly opened the door. “Thank Chaos, I thought you’d never come out.” Sonic wrapped his arms around Amy, and sat on her bed with him. “Now, tell Doctor Sonic what’s wrong.” Amy put her head on his lap, and he stroked her quills.

    “Well, it started a few months ago. I was walking through the village, going to a local mall, and I heard some teens talking trash about m-me. You know how I am when that happens, right?” Sonic nodded. He knew what it was like under the wrath of Amy Rose. “I hit th-them with my hammer, and they literally started crying. Those weird feelings kept my brain occupied for some reason.”

    “Don’t worry, Amy. Just be ha-” Sonic was cut off by Amy’s growl.

    “Don’t tell me to be happy, Sonic the Hedgehog, don’t you think I already tried that?!” Amy sobbed. Sonic hated the fact that she was depressed. He would do anything to see her smile. He pulled her up, and hugged her. 

    “I want you to be happy, so what can I do?” Sonic pulled back just a little, to tuck a loose quill out of her face. 

    “Well, you can kiss me, take me out on a date, marry me, have about seven children, I don’t mind more. You can-” This time, Sonic was the one to cut off Amy. However, it wasn’t with a comment. It was with a kiss. Amy immediately kissed back. Sonic used tongue in this kiss, and that excited specific parts of Amy’s body.

    “Sorry Ames. Only one at a time, you’re only 16! Chaos.” Amy pouted. “Okay, two things.You are officially now my girlfriend.” Amy smiled, and squeezed the living daylights out of her new-found boyfriend. 

 Sonic wrapped Amy’s hair around in his finger. “I see your quills are still long from that, incident.” Amy giggled a little. 

    “I don’t think I want to cut it.” 

    “And I don’t mind that at all. But, next time, can’t you tell us what’s eating you.”

    “Why do I have to acknowledge that you’re eating me?” Amy joked. Yes, she intended the joke to sound a bit...dirty.

    “Oh my CHAOS, Amy! Way to get a man’s hormonal drive up to 130%!” Sonic said, putting his hand to his heart, acting all dramatic. 

    “Wow. How was it so easy to confess to me?” Amy asked, while smirking.

    “I never confessed! But here it is! I...I-I l-love...you...” Sonic barely said it all out. Kind of hard to explain feelings when you’re ego is the size of an Olympic Swimming Pool. His ego would probably die there, anyways.
