I'm only halfway through it, will finish it...later. but my biggest gripe so far with Troy (2004) is how much they are butchering Menelaus. And not just by mispronouncing his name. He's portrayed as a cruel brute and I'm like bro. He does not deserve this treatment 😔

getting tips from creatives online about art or writing is so.... so night and day.

artists on youtube: it's okay if you dont get things right just starting out. dont obsesses over perfection. if you keep practicing, i swear on my first born son that you will see improvement and you'll be glad you stuck to it! here's some tips i use, im half assing it here tho. so you can probably find an easier, more effective way to execute that--

writers on youtube: you suck. you're no artist! why are you writing? literally NO ONE CARES! you talk too much! LOLLL they do… and maybe a little bit of that is my fault based on the ones i choose because im really picky with the ones i do answer (being nice to him, in this case) because there are SO many people who are trying to make him feel better, but ultimately they always bring up something or other to remind him of the shit he’s gone or is going through..
