Pros of these poinsettia coasters:

- stinking cute

- so quick and easy, I made one and didn't even need to look at the pattern for the second, I can just crank these bad boys out without even counting past the first twelve stitches [pattern for those who'd like it, I just switched the first two colors]

- functional! christmasy! adorable! kitsch! yay!

Cons of these poinsettia coasters:

- ignore all the fucking ENDS I've yet to weave in, that's a problem for future me

- that green yarn is an actual sensory nightmare of plastic and itty bitty scratchy fibers all over my face and hands and general person everywhere

- six deep, I have finally reached like. halfway through. the number of them that I need to make, and brother the yarn is going fast

- I won't deny that the moment I realized that at some point over the years, I had turned into the kind of person who worries about their coasters coordinating with the Christmas table runner at a holiday dinner they absolutely do not want to give to their in-laws, it felt a bit like my legs had slipped out from under me. I won't deny having had a slight crisis of identity about it.
