Ya'll... I just watched the new Sonic movie (Sonic 3) and I have to say... I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Me ranting about it after the cut!!

SONIC 3 SPOILERS!!

1) Okay, so, first of all. The movie was amazing. I felt so giddy and excited when I was sitting in the movie theate, just waiting for the next thing to happen.

2) I had to hold back my tears when Tom got brutally punched by Shadow, mainly at hoe Sonic reacted at that... poor boy thought he lost another parent:( I didn't want to cry in front of of my brothers. (They would've bullied me bc they always do)

2) Maria was sososososo pretty!!! I really wished that we could've seen more of the sibling dynamic between her and Shadow, but I honestly loved the relationship they had.

4) My boy Tails should've had more screen time though...💔 Along with knuckles...💔 (I understand they already had enough going on in the movie, and I think if they did what I wanted, it probably would've made the movie uncomfortably cramped)

5) TAILS LOOKED SO CUTE WITH THE HELMET ON IN THE HELECOPTER ATVTHE BEGINNING OMG⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️ I mentally agreed with Agent Stone when he said Tails was adorable, because he is.

6) Honestly, kinda wished Stone and Tails built up a friendship between them. Would've been fun to see them interact more! (Again, same thing I said earlier in nr.4)

7) I actually thought about this before seeing the movie. If I remembered correctly, the movie is based of Sonic adventure 2 (I believe) And Amy Rose was the one who comforted Shadow and got him to turn from evil to good? (I THINK. I SAW A PLAY THROUGH LIKE 10 YEARS AGO, DON'T YELL AT ME😭) So, I wondered how the would go about this. Honestly, the fact that Sonic comforted Shadow was a little odd to me, but what Sonic said was sweet. Since this is the movies we're talking about, it's on brand that Sonic was comforting him, since basically every single live action Sonic movie has him comforting SOMEBODY. Honestly, I liked it.

8) And... THE WAY MR. OLD REBOTNIC (can't remember name💔) GOT KILLED!?!?!? WHAT!?!? YOU'RE TELLING ME HE FOT STABBED IN THE BUTT BY A SUPER POWERED ALIEN HEDGEHOG QUIL, GOT LUNCHED UP, AND GOT INCINERATED BY A DAMN SHEILD!?!? Woah. Imagine telling other people how you died and someone says THIS to you??? My one brother quite literally looked at me like this when that happened: "😧" (my other brother laughed his arse off)

9) And the final message Robotnic gave Stone?? Omg, you can NOT tell me they didn't have SOMETHING going on over there....

10) Finally, the end credit scene... METAL SONIC AND AMY???? ARAGARAGATSGA!!!! Sigh, Why must I wait for the 4th movie to come out... 😔 (PLEASE GIVE REVERSE SONAMY IN THE NEW MOVJE OLEASE PLEASE PLEAS PLEASE PLEA) Also, when Amy revealed herself a little boy (who had a Sonic CAPE mind you) yelled out "IT'S AMY!!!" He might be a bigger fan then me chat... (I forgot my Tails plush 😔)

11) Fun mini fact about me, I'm not much of a Shadow fan (Don't come at me) so I've never been too interested in him. However, the movie got me much more interested in him, and Shadow is now up there with the others. (Also made me feel much more for the poor boy :<)

12) Overall, the movie was literally the best one I have seen in a WHILE. Even though the movie had a lot going on, I still felt immersed in the story the whole way through. Character development was was amazing, Sonic crashing out was SO COOL??? Tails and Knuckles trying to stop him was just as amazing. Tails looking like a scared kid while Sonic and Knuckles were disagreeing tugged SO HARD onto my heart strings💔 I really recommend the movie, it was a great watch. I do however recommend watching the first two movies before watching the third one.

Jason grimaces as he sees Tim's binoculars gleam in his peripherals. Sure, he did NOT want to be kidnapped by a creep, but Tim had offered himself first, and Jason would rather die a third time than allow Tim to do whatever his stupid little genius stalker brain brewed up. Jason had also given the weird pendant to tim so maybe he could find out something new while jason was being kidnapped.

And, like clockwork, Robert Shawn rounds the corner just as Jason lights the end of his cigarette. A smaller part of him that had grown more vocal since the beginning of the whole time-travel bullshit screams for him to stop. they've seen it happen to their mom, so jason should stop before be got addicted too.

But, he gently reminds the smaller, worried, and child-like part of himself that he wasn't smoking it. he was going to let the cigarette fumes curl into the air like a signal, a catalyst of events that will lead him and tim to their big brother.

the small voice quietens to a low buzz at the back of his head, so Jason continues.

"hey, thomas," that guy approaches, a hungry gleam in his eyes, "where's alvin? what are you doing all by yourself? smoking, no less?"

"Non'ya business what i do on my own, dipshit," jason snapped, glaring at the man.

"Don't be like that," the man said in a tone that was almost teasing, and oh shit, he was one of those men- ones who only wanted people so he could break them. They want the power and that comes with being in a position of power, and when they couldn't do that...

"I can be however i want," jason scoffed. He sees the gleam blink twice, and so jason turns his back on the man.

Just like he predicted, arms grabbed him, slapping a hand over his mouth. Jason struggled like a kid his age would. He screamed- the sound muffled by the man's hand as he was dragged away kicking and thrashing.

Shawn snarled, obviously frustrated, before slamming jason into the wall, "If you dont fucking behave, then i will find your little brother and i will have my way with him, got it?"

"Y-you dont even know where he is," Jason snarled despite being winded.

Shawn rattles off Jason's address, and it was all he could do to keep from laughing hysterically. God, this man was so stupid. If you did nothing other than surface-level research, then you deserve to be punched by Bruce.

But, he had a cover to uphold, so jason falls quiet and stares up at the man with wide, watering, doe eyes, "Y-you! Please- d-don't hurt him!He's all i have left!"

a sadistic light enters the man's eyes, and Jason was suddenly viscerally aware of the knife tucked in a hidden pocket, "so long as you remain and a good little boy, then i promise i won't touch a single hair on your brother's head."

there were so many loopholes that allowed the man to fuck with his "brother", but that was only if he could find tim first. If Batman didn't notice an inexperienced Tim Drake following him, then some average criminal could never dare to find a very experienced Tim Drake who has the size advantage.

Jason dips his head and allows himself to be lead away like a lamb to the slaughter.

but little do these butchers know, the creature they caught wasn't a lamb, he was a Bat through and through.

Well (in his universe at least), Pafjyn is a full-blown deity, which is how he held his own against Banhammer. Don’t get me wrong; it was a close fight. A little too close for Paf’s liking, which is why he didn’t exactly fight fair.

5. I’m gonna have to politely decline. I made Paf/the Smile virus years before I even heard of Phighting, and the name sorta stuck 🤷‍♀️ 

6. Oh, he does. Many survivors can successfully trap and/or kill the infected, but it’s no easy feat. First of all, they have enhanced healing (as in, it takes a lot more for injuries to be lethal. The virus tries to keep its host alive for as long as possible.) and that’s not even mentioning the mutations that most infecteds have. Some can have poisonous spikes, or wings, or extra arms, etc. It depends on who got infected. And while this doesn’t really apply to Coil since he isn’t too attached to very many Inphernals, it’s probably gut wrenching to have to kill an infected loved one.

7. Probably pacing around Crossroads, attacking any survivors he comes across. He was the first infected, after all!

I did start a wip a while ago about pregnant sex-- i know, but I stopped cus I dont know how to make it not sound weird like I really wanted to touch upon pregnancy hormones a d what it was like being pregnant with Halo compared to what it was like being pregnant with the twins and I started doing a bunch of research about it and what's normal, abnormal, and like the nuances about arousal during pregnancy even from the husbands side of the ordeal and how emotions can really be on high during the second to third trimester

There also another I started kinda on the whim a little bit ago that's like angst/hurt comfort which is more about the complications during the pregnancy w the elder twins and Rio reacting to everything that's happened so much so fast after the birth because the pregnancy w the twins was miserable and not the best experience cus it was a high risk pregnancy mostly in part due to being pregnant with twins especially fraternal twins and it being your first ever pregnancy on top of them being twins, so the birth was not an easy or fast process, I also did a bunch of research on the complications that can happen during birth and the circumstances if one was to die during birth, you definitely do live but I needed to know the extent of how much pain I can put you through, I also searched a bunch of medical terms and recovery processes for after a complicated birth and recovering from surgery, it's pretty much Rio working through his emotions cus yeah he just became a dad but you were also unconscious for a scary amount of hours and did a lot if the post birth bonding without you there next to him, it's a little darker than stuff I usually write but one of the reasons I love my little au so much is I be doing some goddamn research on shit I will never experience(I don't wanna be pregnant ever in my life)

☝🏽☝🏽Would you believe that either one of those wips I mentioned are probably rn 4-5 paragraphs tops, maybe 3 excluding the dialogue

Theres also "Boys will be bugs" (which I haven't started yet) which is pretty much Theo playing outside in the dirt cus he likes dirt and bugs, Theo loves bugs, like he loves bugs, yeah, hes autistic, he has a per caterpillar he cant wait til turns into a butterfly and set free

And then there's "Two pairs of twins" I think I started it idk I don't think I did, but it's about the dynamics between the oldests and the youngests, the elder twins and the younger twins, Adephagia and Gulliver watching the toddler Dylan and Eliana pretty much like damn I can't believe we're 16 apart and making a joke about neutering their dad because they cannot fathom the idea of their parents ever having sex but also, I touched on this in Prince and Princess but cus they're getting older they're more distant than they once were, they're still close but they're now burdened with more responsibility and stress because they're the oldest and one of them would one day succeed their father on the throne but because of you and your magic of dear lady vane until one of their manifest ancient magic it's not clear who exactly would be taking the throne. Talking care of their baby sisters is kinda like how they bond, you know? they're just regular siblings and not heirs to a throne, also the girls are really cute, they fight over who looks more like who cus Dylan and Eliana are also fraternal twins💀

Theres also another idea in my head that simply just have not written down but it's been in my noggin since I posted Prince and Princess and it like the other side of that like it takes place on the same day but kinda from Halos perspective like it goes through Halos day while the elder twins are getting fired for their first adult sized royal finery and like it kinda just introduced Halos little crush on Thoma, nothing comes of it cus Thoma is obviously way older and known her since she was born but it's just innocent little schoolgirl crush, you know how it is shes 14 and Thoma is nice to her kinda like how young girls would have a crush on their teacher, Halo helps him out with some of his tasks and stuff, just like how in prince and princess there was a Theo and Atlas cameo, there would be a Genesis w the younger twins cameo, I think that would be cute♡

Your story writing and symbolism never ceases to amaze me. The bits and pieces of significant object or events that references the earlier parts of the story and makes the pieces fall into place are so DELICIOUS like idek any other word for it because it’s just so *chefs kiss*

1) THE FIRE

The way demon Jungkook just spawns these little flames out of nowhere and MC is like ??? But it turns out it’s just smth he’s been doing THEIR WHOLE FRIENDSHIP TOGETHER AS A WAY TO CALM HER ANXIETY LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THAT ONE RUN ME OVER WITH A CROP DUSTER

2) THE VASE

that little vase that Taehyung gifted her after her miscarriage that she smashed 😭😭 why just whyyyyyyy stop making these little objects the cause of my mental breakdown (jk ily and your stories 🥺)

3) THE TREE SCENE

I’m not exactly too sure on this one tbh but that scene when she was in hell and weeping over the forest as she hugged the tree, was that supposed to represent the imaginary friend she had been talking to all along? Or did it remind her of them? But still the chills 😩 also I wasn’t sure if that little girl she saw in the tunnel was supposed to be some evil version of her daughter 👁️👁️ but also was her daughter actually her daughter or an Angel that took on the form of her daughter

The event of MC being cured only for her to become sick not long after and dying are literally paralleled with that woman, only with JK being the demon. But also FUCK Jisoo and that stank ass kid I could never be as kind and gentle as MC like YOURE ON YOUR MFKN OWN 👋

I didn't find it necessary to go all into that since it was just a ghost story that was explained in the tunnel :) Basically it was one of Apple's childhood fears that manifested in the tunnel 🥲

As for the two scenes with the angel that looks like Aera, it is her! Sweet baby girl is an angel now 💞😇

4. DEMONS AND THEIR DEMON BUSINESS:

out of all four of my dos2 godwokens she is the only one who (reluctantly) ascends, making her my canon divine

she was orphaned at a young age, has absolutely no idea what happened to her family or who they were

born and raised in arx, she was taken in by priests of the divine order at a young age. while this gave her the safety/order/education she needed as a child, her being an elf meant she was p much immediately put to work as a servant and not given too much extra thought. she grew up shadowing healers and priests who tended to the magisters, and — through dedication, experience, and SO much bs —eventually became a formidable healer herself. one of the best in arx.

despite growing up within the heart of the divine order, she's never really had much true loyalty towards them, since she cares more for the PEOPLE she would see and help every day, over some abstract and shadowy institution. in fact i'd say she was always a bit wary/resentful of the magister ideals, because SHE was the one who would have to take care of the people who were harmed in it's name. so she saw first hand what zealotry was capable of and wasn't super surprised when the order went nuts and turned on sourcerers.

instead of fleeing she remained to try and help deradicalize magisters on the inside, as well as work with sympathisers to help sourcers and their families hide or get out of the city. obviously she was eventually caught and sent to fort joy, but i like to think she was the reason a lot of former magisters deserted the order and went on to join the seekers 😔✊

personality wise she is..... very GOOD and mostly kind, but she can be short and impatient with people who try to test the limits of her politeness lol. being a healer to MAGISTERS of all people means shes been exposed to SO much stupidity and really doesnt have ANY tolerance to absorb more. so sometimes her "kindness" involves ...... chewing someone out until they get their shit together and stop wasting her time. she's very "im not angry, just disappointed. just kidding i'm also fucking angry lol". other than that she's gentle, introspective and quite serious, but has a lot of passion for people in general and couldn't stand on the sidelines even if she wanted to

i'm still working on some of the big building blocks of her lore, like a more solid motivation for wanting divinity other than just restoring the divine order, as well as figuring out more about her family (thinking she could be a lost scion t b h 👀) and what her relationships are with the gods. but i like to think she has always held an inexplicable *feeling* of divinity that she could never understand, and her finding herself more or less within arms reach of the former divine as a child might have smth to do with fate putting her where she needed to be. idk. mostly i just think she's neat !
